India has played another strategic masterstroke. A missile has been tested that can devastate all of Asia. Its range includes not only China but also some parts of Europe.

In fact, this is an intermediate-range ballistic missile that can strike targets up to 5000 km away, and its name is Agni-5. A range of 5000 km means, if you consider India as the center, then China, Pakistan, the Middle East, some parts of Russia, up to Japan, Korea, and some parts of Eastern Europe like Turkey and Ukraine are all within Agni-5's reach.

Its successful test was conducted from Chandipur, Odisha. This test took place under the supervision of the Strategic Forces Command, and all operational and technical parameters were validated. This is no small matter, as Agni-5 is considered the backbone of India's nuclear deterrence. It comes with a high-precision guidance system and can carry nuclear warheads. Its three-stage solid fuel rocket propulsion system makes it more mobile and ready to launch.

If we talk about the Agni series, missiles from Agni-1 to Agni-4 are already deployed, with ranges from 700 km to 3500 km. The recent tests also included Prithvi-2, Agni-1, and the new tactical missile Pralay. Prithvi-2 can strike up to 350 km with a 500 kg payload. Agni-1 has a range of 700 to 900 km with a 1000 kg payload, and Pralay is a short-range surface-to-surface missile that can carry 500 to 1000 kg of conventional warheads.

Friends, the test of Agni-5 is not just a launch, but a clear signal to the world that we have taken our defense and deterrence to the next level.
