The Ultimate Early 2026 Fantasy Football RB Rankings

Underdog Fantasy Football - Josh & Hayden1:10:36

Transcription

All right, you ready for your first swing of fantasy football running back rankings for the 2026 season? Hayden, this is probably the position that was least affected during the NFL draft. Uh, historically low numbers that were drafted for these incoming rookies. Typically, that's a talk of the town and there are a couple, maybe three or four that we'll talk about in this show, but just overall your thoughts on this position as we head into 2026.

Not a whole lot of change from last year. And last year running backs absolutely cooked wide receivers. And I expect that trend to continue. If you guys are paying attention to the draft, a lot more tight ends went early. Um, and that means I think we're going to see more running the football, more heavy personnel. Wide receivers don't matter that much. And then fantasy football is going to be one on the backs of these running backs. Once again, this has been a trend for the last couple seasons. And I I think I'm ready to double down on it.

The real football's back, baby. Uh, and we'll talk about this in the wide receiver ranking show that we'll post here on the channel tomorrow that typically, at least in the last five, six, seven years, we could rely on a team's, you know, third wide receiver to be fantasy relevant, at least the best ones. You really can't anymore. You have to draft the top two wide receivers on most teams out there. And if that's the case, then more and more running back production is going to creep in and steal that pie. And we freaking love to see it. Again, this is rankings week. This is running backs. did dynasty fantasy rookies for your drafts uh yesterday on the channel and then later on quarterbacks and tight ends. So, hit subscribe. We've got plenty of famous football content for you this entire summer.

All right, the top two names, Jir Gibbs and Bejian Robinson. Actually an underdogen bean is going one spot before Jir Gibbs at this point. Why do you have it this way?

It's a true tossup to me. I'll lean with Gibbs just because I trust the Lions infrastructure more so than whatever the Falcons are going on. Uh Jir Gibbs has averaged 25 half PPR points in the eight games David Montgomery has missed or played under% of snaps in. And David Montgomery is no longer a Detroit Lion. The Lions retoled their offensive line. They brought in kind of like a a rove paving a road paving center and Cade Mazize and then also first round right tackle and Blake Miller who's definitely a decent run blocker himself. So, he's going to set career highs in touches and last year, even while splitting time, he was the fourth overall player.

Yeah, this would be the 101 and the 102 in whatever order in your drafts. For Gibbs, Drew Petting is taking over as the play caller when Dan Campbell stole that away last year. Uh, Gibbs jumped seven targets per game while also maintaining his 14 carries. Uh, and that was even with, you know, Dave Montgomery on the roster. Maybe that's why he wanted out of town. And with Bejon, uh, you know, it's Kevin Sansancy. We've seen Nick Chub have historic seasons under Kevin Sansky and uh Bejian Robinson even has more pass game ability than that. We know he's second in yards after contact per carry last year and first in missed tackles forced per carry and his backup this year because that's where the biggest changes are the running back twos across these rosters. Uh Brian Robinson, yes, Brian Robinson out there is the running back two in Atlanta.

All right, let's go to your running back three. That is Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts. He was the RB3 and the third overall player in fantasy points over replacement per game last year. The Colts dominated early on kind of uh they were pretty much eliminated uh after Daniel Jones injury. Daniel Jones should be able to start this season uh either if it's not week one, it'll probably be like week five or so and they're just going to ride Jonathan Taylor. I just trust the the infrastructure. He's in the prime of his career. He's been absolutely dominant and if there is a chance that Daniel Jones is not passing the ball quite as effectively, that just might mean more carries for Jonathan Taylor.

Anyways, there's a lot to love here. I mean, he was easily the running back one through 13 healthy weeks of Daniel Jones. I mean, by a point and a half ahead of Chris McCaffrey last year. However, there might be some and this the first our word of the year regression uh coming in the direction of the Indianapolis Colts. I mean they scored a touchdown on 94% of their goal to go situations last year according to Warren Sharp. I mean that is an outlandish outlier number. Uh and that might just go down because of you know the loss of Michael Pitman or Daniel Jones coming back from injury or just what naturally happens in the game of football and that would hurt probably Jonathan Taylor the most uh of anyone.

Yeah, they are losing a right tackle and Braden Smith and then but they also at the same time they lost Michael Pitman did not really replace him too. So maybe there's a chance he catches a couple more passes to kind of fight back from that R word that you just mentioned.

Our guy, our best call of last year, Christian McCaffrey stands in here as your running back four. Why not higher? Why not the running back one this year, Hayden? Because what we got last year is it wasn't even explosive or really efficient carries. It was just a budgeoning runs last year. Uh injured wide receivers, injured quarterback, injured offensive line. He was the only healthy person on the field for the 49ers all season long. Yeah, that could just change at any moment here. Um, so the only reason why I have them a little bit lower is just the age concerns and we did see the efficiency fall off and typically like once the efficiency falls off that doesn't really rebound. Uh, the offensive line doesn't look any difference. I think that explains a lot of it. So yeah, I'm not like fading Christian McAffrey. This is right in line with ADP. Uh, he can easily finish as the first overall player in fantasy. I just do think that the risk uh from just like a player kind of falling off standpoints is higher than the first three backs that we talked about.

Uh you mentioned that these are the for first four running backs drafted according to ADP. They're your first four running backs ranked. And this is where you diverge just a little bit because he's being drafted as running back seven, but your running back five is Devon Achan of the Miami Dolphins. And I love this. I mean, he is a superstar. And he isn't called that often enough. He led all running backs with 90 plus carries last year in terms of yards per carry and yards after contact per carry. So, he's often viewed as just this speedback and he definitely has juice and you know Mike McDaniel accentuated that effectively. But Hayden, as we always outlined in stats versus film is that there's a lot of between the tackle stuff that he doesn't get enough credit for and just bouncing off defenders and creating yards on his own. He's a complete back in the NFL.

Yeah, I'm looking at the the roster. I think that's the big hangup for a lot of uh people and I totally get it. Like Malik Willis like that could be not not not great. But the Dolphins last year weren't great on offense and he completely balled out. They don't have any wide receivers to throw the ball to. So I'm expecting the receiving production to maybe not be quite as good, but in roughly the same ballpark. The offensive line I don't have any problems with. Their left tackle is good and returning. Their left guard goes into their second year. He was not good as a rookie last year, but should get better. Aaron Brewer is maybe the best center in the league. And then Kaden Proctor was the 12th overall pick pick. He'll either play right guard or right tackle and he's as big as a house. So I think that they're going to establish the run here and they're going to throw the ball to Devon Aan. They can't really rely on Jaylen Wright or Aldi Gordon. Those guys are just like not very good. So he's in the prime of his career and he's been a total stud whenever given the opportunities and we've seen him play well with Tua or without Tua. And I think that Malik Willis is probably not nearly as big of a downgrade as some people are mentioning. I think one concern is that Mike McDaniel has been, you know, the running game guru wherever he has been.

Um, and now it's down to Bobby Slo, but Bobby Slo is also on this staff with Mike McDaniel last year. So hopefully he has, you know, been able to retain and comes from the same coaching tree, uh, some of that information and can utilize, albeit maybe less of the order of operations eye candy stuff prior to the snap and maybe more some traditional running game here, which I think Hen can still be very good at. But but maybe he does get all the manufactured stuff pre- snap just because there's no Jaylen Wadd. So like we are like chopping off multiple other options in the receiving game.

Love that. Okay, your running back six is James Cook of the Buffalo Bills. The big change for him last year was the inside the 10 yard line stuff. I mean that is vital. And if we even just expand it to the 20 yard line, he had the fourth most carries inside the 20 yardd line across the league. And he also had 14 carries inside the five scoring six touchdowns on them. And that's like again the massive shift in what we got from like the Latavius Murray's of the world stealing from him a couple years ago.

Yeah. James Cook right now in the underdog pickum lobby probably available in your state right now is at 10 and a half uh season rushing touchdowns which feels almost a little bit light. Obviously there's some injury concerns when you touch the ball that often. But James Cook uh was the seventh overall player on a per game basis on fancy points over replacement and half PPR. Obviously I like him a little bit better in that format. But Jay, he's in the prime of his career. They they did make one offensive line change. Uh and I think that the entire uh offensive line coaching staff is now new as well. But for the most part, there's a lot of kind of, you know, running it back with, you know, retaining the offensive coordinator to be the head coach. Josh Allen's obviously back. I think that DJ Moore uh might actually help James Cook in some ways just because uh the offense might be a little bit more stable than it was, it felt like last last season. But, you know, it's back back toback seasons where he's been like a top 12 to 24 overall player.

Okay. Rookies make the world go round and your running back seven is Jeremiah Love and I am scrolling down and Jeremiah Love is being taken much later than this over in underdog that's just launched baseball mania launched the eliminator launched weekly winners again the summer of drafting is here you should go and do it the links in the description down below if you want to play five bucks you get 50 bucks in your pocket I mean if you give me a second to count where Jeremiah Love is probably what closer to running back 13 and here you have him as running back seven Why?

Well, how could he not love the player first of all? So, he's going to be able to catch the ball. He's 212 pounds, so he's bigger than some of the comps that we were kind of throwing out there. Um, and I just look at the the Cardinals, their defense is still going to be pretty bad. So, I think he's going to catch a plenty of passes. They drafted him third overall. They better get the most use out of him as possible. And last year, they did have like some level of a fantasy floor with Jacobe Brassette, who I'm expecting to be the starter early on. So the closest comps were Saquon, Zeke, CMC, Reggie Bush, Melvin Gordon, Ashton Genty, Darren McFaden, Bejan, Todd Gurley, Adrian Peterson, Jonathan Taylor, like some of the best fantasy running backs of our lifetime as rookies. That cohort of players averaged 14.3 PPR points. I would have made him the RB12 last year. I'm kind of looking at this. I kind of like him better than some of those guys. And I think that the Cardinal situation, while it is bad, like it was like a bad decision that they made, I do think that there's enough going on uh on the offense here that he could at least provide a stable floor and I think that the ceiling with him is 50 yard touchdowns every month.

Point of the summer or even if it extends beyond the summer and into I don't know week seven. Are we going to talk about Jeremiah Love and you don't have to include it? Was a bad decision by them.

Well, this is me kind of playing the middle ground, right? Like I can say like the Cardinals made a bad decision, but I also love him in fantasy. like how how could this thing go wrong?

Yeah, middle ground winks, that's for sure. Yeah, I mean Tyler Algier, as Adam Sher talked about in his podcast, I think today said that Algier signed in the hopes of never being a running back too again and having his own backfield.

Uh and then he just get bejoned all over again here with with Jeremiah Love. And and speaking of bejan, I mentioned this in the rookie ranking show for your dynasty fantasy football leagues. Hopefully you tuned in to that episode. If not, it's down on the channel below. Um that year he finished as running back 20 his rookie season in points per game. Five of his 16 games were in the top 10 in terms of scores. Uh so we'll see. I mean I think Jeremiah Love is the closest thing we've seen to Reggie Bush since Reggie Bush. And that's, you know, with 10 to 12 pounds strapped to his back on top of it. So I can't wait to watch him play football.

I will say in terms of tiers, I do think Ahan and uh James Cook are definitely a tier above everybody else. And this is a pretty flat tier. Like even though I ranked Love ahead of these next five or six backs, I think I'm not going to be drafting him every single time I'm in the second round. These guys are so grouped together. And if people are going to give me Jeremiah Love in the third round, then like I'll play into that.

Yeah, I was going to bring that up. I mean, his ADP right now is 27 overall. Uh I do not think as we go along this summer that Jeremiah Love is going to have a round three ADP attached to his name. So if you want to get him, draft him right now on Underdog. Moving on, Ashen Genty. How fitting is right next to Jeremiah Love as your running back eight. Uh his 1.6 yards before contact per attempt last year, 56th out of 60 qualifying running backs. I think I like Ashton Genty more than you do. Uh so I'm excited to hear you talk about him as a top eight running back.

Yeah, last year was a brutal season for him and he was the running back or not even the running back, the overall 28th player in Fantasy Points over placement. had a couple big games there. Um, and I'm just expecting everything to look so much better. You have a very serious coaching staff. Tyler Linderbomb is the highest paid center of all time by like a magnitude of like 2x.

Yeah. Uh, and then they got a new guard in there as well. Um, so yeah, I just think the offense is going to be a lot better. Kurt Cousins is functional and then Fernando Mendoza I think has a real ceiling to kind of chase here. And I think there's really nothing wrong with Ash Genty the player. It's just like the environment was so bad with him. I think like breaking ties between him and Love. I think that Lo's likely to catch more passes and then I think likelier to have 50 yard touchdowns where Genty is a complete truck stick in every single way. So this will be a much better season for Ashton Genty and he was uh an RB2 last year uh despite everything kind of crumbling around him.

And his backup is a rookie in Mike Washington Jr. You know, it's not like a veteran that maybe can still steal some snaps here or there. No, it is Mike Washington Jr. as his backup running back. Yeah. I mean, just the environment that he was in, you cannot function. you cannot be successful, you can't be efficient, you can't be any of those things. Like I mentioned the yards before contact last year, he still had a ton of broken tackles and often he was breaking a tackle or two and still unable to get to the line of scrimmage. So if he's just gifted the first level or even the second level more often, to me, there were some real flashes of brilliance and hopefully we see them more often here in his second season.

Just to call this one out because I do like this a lot right now. Seven and a half rushing touchdowns is the high or lower for Ashton Genty. That that feels like a touchdown light to me. Uh I'm just expecting the Raiders to like be watchable this year.

Well, and if you're bringing up pick lobby mentions, I'll do the same. Ashen Genty right now is projected with more rushing yards than Chris McAffrey and Devon Achan and Jeremiah Love. Three names that we have already discussed. Uh so yeah, go and play. I mean, we're available in nearly every single state now. So go play. All right, Saquon Barkley, the 2024 running back one, now enters 2026 as your running back nine. Uh to me, I think there's an outside shot and we might sneak back into the top three or top four runners uh by the end of the season here with

Yeah, it's definitely impossible. They need the offensive line to be legitimately healthy. It's the same five starters. They added a swing tackle in the third round who's just a complete giant and Markeel Bell, but it's the same starting five. They just missed so much time and even when they were out there, it was like very clear that like Landon Dickerson for example was not the same player. Hopefully that kind of regresses. We're expecting AJ Brown to leave. Enter Mai Lemon. I don't think that really changes things for um for Saquon Barkley. It's just we need the explosive plays again because like that that disappeared this last year because the offensive line was bad. So it just kind of ties back to the offensive line getting healthy. So, I'm I'm middle grounding what he was two years ago where he was the league winner versus last year he was the 24th overall player. I'm smack dab right in the middle between that. I feel good about it.

The big thing, as you mentioned, was just the blocking. It It was putrid. I mean, his yards before contact dropped from 3.8 when he was the running back one and the league winner down to 2.5 last year, but his yards after contact per carry was nearly the same.

Two yards to 1.6. So, I don't think he has lost like two steps as his, you know, underlying metrics would indicate. Uh, and I still think he's a focal point and an important piece of this offense. It might be even more once AJ Brown is traded.

You convince me. I'll move him up ahead of Love and Genty.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm not trying to make you move these year one and year two guys.

I I like it. It was It was convincing.

Look at that on the fly. First rankings of the year. We're already moving stuff around. All right, to close out this one, Omar Hampton running back 10, another secondyear runner. I think you can nitpick some of the parts of Omar and Hampton's game, but in this system, it kind of doesn't matter. I mean, if everyone stays healthy, okay, big F here with the Chargers, you have two tackles. You now have a huge investment in center. Hopefully, they can figure out this guard stuff and they're moving, I think, a center to guard or a tackle to guard here with the LA Chargers. And Martin Hampton has juice. He is a big body that in a straight line has intense speed. And Mike McDaniel, I think, is going to be able to weaponize that.

I think it's a good call. His fit as like an outside zone stretch runner, which is how they got all those Raheem Moered and Devon Ain uh house calls. He's the 96 percentile in broad jump. So, I think that he's an excellent scheme fit here. He can catch the ball. Heaton Mitchell is going to be like a change of pace RB2, but I'm not expecting a whole lot more than that. Hampton's going to be the goal line back. There's no question about that. I think that he's going to be a trusted player in year two compared as a rookie where I do think that we even going back to his pre-draft profile. We loved like the upside there. There's some things that he kind of had a to work through and I think that this is the right coaching staff going into year two to be banking on the breakout. And like you said, Bottage is a real center. They picked him up in free agency. They drafted a very smart center out of Florida and Jake Slaughter. They're going to be moving him to one of the guard spots. They're they're still missing one quality guard here, but the tackles, as long as they're not limping in as they currently are right now into the season here. Um, I think it's going to be a a decent offensive line, which last year you obviously couldn't say that.

For sure. Um, I will say among all the running backs that we've talked about here, his probably has the most talent in it. Uh, again, you bring in Katon Mitchell, who we'll talk about later on this video, but also Kamani Vidal had moments last year, you know, and he is still on this team. So, uh, Omar and Hampton should qualify for what 15ish touches per game, if not touch that 16 and 17 mark if he like clearly is the best back. But Hayden, I also think there's like a very narrow outside shot that maybe he doesn't meet the exact threshold that we want of like true running back one status when it comes to opportunities each week. If Mike McDaniel loves him, some Katon Mitchell and Doll and those types,

I wouldn't be surprised. I think he's one of these guys where you can tell me he finishes the RB3. Like I think like there's that range of outcome that the Chargers are a Super Bowl contending team. McDaniels is a stud and then I do think Hampton has like special running backs in his range of outcome. So I do want to play into that.

Speaking of special, let's go now to tier two. That is Kenneth Walker III. Now a Kansas City Chief. Uh, never wrong, just early here with Kenneth Walker the third because we all know and we all saw it with our eyeballs how much of a differencemaker he could have been last year during the fantasy football season if Seattle allowed him to be. They didn't and then he won them the playoffs in the Super Bowl. That's it. They did on offense. So, what is Kenneth Walker the third going to look like and inject differently into this Kansas City Chiefs offense?

Well, explosives is why they signed him and the offensive line is going to be an upgrade from what he was dealing with uh throughout his career on the Seahawks. their guard, center, guard combo, and then I'll throw in uh they have a chance to have a really strong left tackle is is really exceptional. I'm expecting the Chiefs to kind of change their offense where historically they're pass heavy and they're really pass heavy in the red area. I'm expecting them to get under center more as Patrick Mahomes come comes off of his torn ACL and they're going to have like more duo runs, under center runs, hunt for explosives underneath and hopefully that can kind of square away some of the downfield passing stuff that they've really regressed in over the last couple seasons. Kenneth Walker with uh open space is just a walking explosive and I do think that this I mean Trey Smith and Creed Humphre is yeah none of my business. Uh so I'm just expecting that the Chiefs to like kind of change their offense and that's going to play into Kenneth Walker's strengths.

I mean he was their only addition on offense this entire off seasonason. Uh they didn't bring in other wide receivers, other tight ends. Sure they made a fifth rounder and a running back and wide receiver but that's it. like every single asset was spent on defense, two first round picks,

a second round pick and R. Mason Thomas, a fourth round pick at another nickel/c corner spot.

They want Kenneth Walker the third to transform their offense. And like you said, they've had an efficient running system the last couple years. Like we talked about Kareem Hunt and you know how he got them into, you know, some second and manageable third and short situations. And obviously once you get the goal line there, you have him to convert that spot. But what they have been craving craving is 15 plus yard runs, 20 plus yard runs. And uh Kenneth Walker specializes in those types of carries.

My last note is he would be subbed out for Charbanet who's a a big back. Bashard Smith is not a big back. He's a converted wide receiver. And then EMTT Johnson, the fifth round rookie that I'm talking about. He's a small back. Uh and we're talking about a fifth round rookie. You're not going to take the Super Bowl MVP out for a fifth round rookie. So there's a chance he's going to get all the goal line carries, which we have not been able to say in a very long time.

Hello. All right, Dererick Henry is your running back 12 still of the Baltimore Ravens. Uh if you look at some underlying metrics, you could argue that maybe we're getting a sense of a little cliff here. I mean, a career low.14 miss tackles per carry last year. However, then if you zoom out, he still was among like the top four runners uh in terms of yards per carry, yards after contact, rush yards over expected per attempt. And that was, you know, with a really rough offensive line. like they just booted Daniel Falle and said, "Hey, Harbaugh, you can have him in New York if you want to and then

and then well he did. He signed him and then uh brought in Vega. The only question is the the center spot because you go from Tyler Linderbomb down to like a seventh round center.

Yeah, I think they'll figure out center eventually. They've at least surrounded him with two quality guards. I think Vega is an exceptional player at their 14th overall, their left tackle. They returned both or their left guard. They returned both of their tackles. Yeah, I mean you mentioned it. He's he's got the highest um touchdown projection, rushing touchdowns at 12 and a half in the underdog picking lobby right now. So, I agree. He's not the same exact player. Maybe he's, you know, there's a 10% decrease in his long speed. There's less wiggle. He's probably more prone to a hamstring pull this year. I've baked that in, man. I mean, last year he was top 10 and all these these these fantasy points over placement numbers. I'm ranking him 19th overall here. Like I'm trying to bake that in as much as I can, but at the end of the day, like there's only a couple guys that can go for three rushing touchdowns and 200 rushing yards in a game. And that's him.

On underdog right now, he's being drafted as a running back 11. Again, he's your running back 12. And he finished last year again in a poor situation. I'll say it as the running back seven overall.

So once again, Derrick Henry is is inevitable. Chase Brown is running back 13. This is a fascinating one because once again, zero competition brought in for him and they're just running it back with Sam P Rin and Taj Brooks and he was still the running back 12 in points per game last year with a rotation of quarterbacks and just like a bad environment. Uh that's exciting because if it's a good one then they're going to score maybe even more points. And Chase Brown seems to have earned tons of money in the bank here with the Bengals coaching staff.

Last year, the Bengals were first in short yardage rushing success rate, which is shocking, but that's like years and years of drafting and developing uh offensive linemen. They were fifth in rushing EPA per carry. So, I'm expecting Burrow to be healthier this year than he was the previous season. And I think this offense will just be a lot better after finishing. They were 18th in EPA per play last year. I think if there's a chance that they can be, you know, top fiveish again and then all of a sudden Chase Brown in this bellcow role, which we should feel very confident in, that this could be ranking him far too low. So, I think in full PPR, uh, I even like him more than this. I I have like almost no bad notes on Chase Brown um, at all.

I mean, we still got some more names here and I feel amazing drafting all these guys already. uh famous last words, but let's just run back this position again in 2026 like we did in 2025. And yeah, the Bengals were 12th in points scored per game last year at 24.4.

They can be even better than that. Even better.

They should be. Next is Josh Jacobs. Is there anything to say about Josh Jacobs other than he running back 14?

I mean, yeah, nothing has changed at all. tinkered with the offensive line a little bit here, but they lost Emanuel Wilson uh and they retain Chris Brooks and then I guess it's Marshon Lloyd still behind him if he's could get on the field eventually.

This is kind of weird and it's on my radar like there aren't many backup veteran running backs floating around out there to be signed unless it's like Zamir White unless he's signed somewhere and my brain just forgot. But like Chris Brooks is more of a fullback and he was being used as that for this past season for them. And so not even going out and signing anyone else. I'm I'm assuming someone else is on the way at this point.

Yeah, it's like Naji Harris types. So yeah, I'm not I'm not moved uh at all with Josh Jacobs. Jacobs last year was the 12th overall player on a per game basis. I've got him ranked 25th overall just because he's a little bit on the older side, but I mean this Packers offense is automatic and he's still a good player. Like I know he doesn't break as many big plays as some of you guys want. That dude, watch the games. That guy is a total pain in the ass to tackle and I don't think that's going to change this season.

Yeah. Once they get down to, you know, inside the five yard line, he is on the field. They love to run the football and give him that carry to score the touchdown. That's for sure.

Yeah. He's also only 28, so he's like not that old.

No. Uh I am on our ads right now. Can you name me the quote unquote fifth running back on their roster right now?

Personal favorite? Dame train.

Damen Martinez. May maybe we get a chance here. Maybe we get a chance.

I would I wouldn't bet on him.

Okay, let's go to Travis ETN. He is your running back 15 and now a New Orleans Saint for now. Alvin Chimera is still on the roster, but uh Alvin Chimera isn't in your rankings here at all and Travis ETN is your running back 15. So uh I think you're leaning in one direction. I would put it more likely than not that he's not on the team or retired. Um, even if he is on the team, like I am I supposed to care? I mean, Alvin Chimera has like not played that much football, not that much good football. And even if he's going to play, it's going to be where he's he's playing some passing downs and then Travis ETN's obviously carrying everything else. That was the role that he had last year when he was the 13th overall player. Um, the Saints offensive line is pretty dang good. I mean, they got two awesome first round tackles. Their center's been in the building, their right guard's been in the building, they signed a veteran left guard. Like, that's a real starting five. Uh Shuck should be better going into year two. We have full faith in uh Kell Moore. And Travis ETN's had one bad NFL season where he was playing through injuries. All the other seasons have been very good, especially in fantasy. So, I I would say this tier continues. Like, this is another great player that I think is a third round player. Like, you can sign me up. I mentioned this stat about scoring a touchdown on go to goal situations for Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints were on the opposite end of that. According to Warren Sharp, they scored a touchdown on just 44% of their goal to go situations last year. That's basically the lowest in the NFL. Basically outlier bad. And so you can't really copy paste any of their rushing stuff from last season into what Travis ET is going to get here. Yeah, I'm looking at uh red zone touchdown rate dead last. Rushing EPA per carry 31st. Explosive runs 20 plus yards 29th. Like this. There's a reason why they don't care about Alvin Camar. And the whole thing is about Travis Achain.

Oh yes. Oh, I maybe my two

I will just mention it to myself that it is now Travis Achan. Travis Han. I'll get it at some point. By the way, if you made it this far in the video and you stuck through my misprononunciation, sorry, Travis, hit that subscribe button. Uh, and let's give a thumbs up, too. Uh, 2,000 likes on this video would be incredible. And that's the goal we are aiming for. All right, Bree Hall is up next as your running back 16. Uh, same backfield as last year. And the Jets were second to last in red zone touchdown success rate last season. Hopefully, they can at least be average in that. That's the case. Uh, Breeze should be a beneficiary. They'll have better quarterback play this year, that's for sure. The offensive line still pretty decent. Not my favorite interior, but they do have two stud tackles at the very least. They're surrounded with more weapons with, you know, Adnai Mitchell, Omar Cooper, and then Kenyan Sadique there. So, I think in general, this should at least be a somewhat functional offense after last year they were 31st in red zone touchdown rate. They were obviously uh dead last in point differential, dead last in explosive passes. Uh the defense was also bad. So, I think just in general the team should be a lot better and there's really not a whole lot behind him. Like Brillin Allen and Isaiah Davis have had like moments to make big impact, but like really we have not seen that come to fruition. Brilland Allen coming off of a big uh injury as well. So, Bree Hall, I mean, they they could have traded him at last year's deadline. They opted not to. They got him on the franchise tag. They still think that he's going to be a long-term player for this team. So, like they have every incentive to make sure Breeze Hall gets a bunch of touches this year.

Yeah, it's a carrot dangling in front of his face. I'm sure Bree Hall would have loved to sign Kenneth Walker's contract this offseason, but uh you know the Jets prevented that from happening.

Javvante Williams is your running back 17. Let's have this Cowboys running back conversation because right now they don't have a running back too. He finishes the running back 13 in points per game last year. He got an extension. So why all the way down here at 17 other than the uh top 16 guys are pretty freaking good at their jobs.

Yeah, those are just like sexier players, I guess. I'm looking at the pick and lobby. He's seventh in rushing yards. Um, which is ahead of Josh Jacobs, Genty, McCaffrey, Achan, Bucky, Jeremiah Love, Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, Travis Achan, all the guys we just mentioned, he's got more projected rushing yards. And then he's for sure the goal line back. And like we we keep saying because the draft class was so bad, they didn't add anybody. I mean, it's still Malik Davis and Jaden Blue who can't play. Um, and it's like Izzy Aandicanda, Phil Mafa. I mean, like these are these are guys like this is like what your uh the worst uh dynasty team in your league looks like at at backfield. And the entire offensive line is back really good. Pickins is back. Dak back, coaching staff back. I mean, like you have to tell me why this is going to break down and I don't have a good answer for that.

I I think that's all totally fair. His ADP right now is 38. So he's in the fourth round.

It's way too low. Last year he was 20 20 the 21st overall player on a per game basis.

Are you going to start running back running back running back running back this year Aiden?

Yes. I mean like this is this is all half PPR kind of brain but I mean nothing changed. Nothing changed. Oh, okay. Another one here in Kairen Williams even last year, right? He had Blake Cororm stealing some stuff like Blake Cororm had drives because they would rotate drives at times and Blake Corm would score more touchdowns than he ever has before or another running back next to Kron Williams ever has before. Despite all of that, Kairen Williams still finished as the running back eight in points per game. Yeah.

So, are we doing this again this year? Are we able to get Kron Williams as an extreme value as anywhere from running back 17 to running back 19?

I think that this is appropriately priced. I think there's just a chance that Blake Corm kind of eats into this maybe a little bit more like you mentioned. It was pretty much two drives and one drive, two drives and one drive. I think that's going to be the baseline here and then there's a chance it becomes maybe a little bit more 50/50 where like that's just like not an option for the guys that we just went through here. And then the other thing is the Rams were running extremely pure as an offense last year. Um, and I will say like they should run Pier again, but there is, you know, some like risk here. Obviously, Matthew Stafford's an older guy. And then Devonte Adams and Puka, there's no depth behind them because they spent their 13th overall pick on a backup quarterback. Um, and then their second round pick on the fifth freaking tight end. So, if something happens to one of these receivers, all of a sudden like this offense is going to feel a lot different. So, there's some fragility in this one, but still, it's priced into this ADP.

Yeah. If one of the wide receivers goes down, they might just run 13 personnel at all times.

Yeah. The thing that I always come back to with Kairen is in crunch time and in like really tight games, Sean McF kind of gets rid of that rotation and he just leans on Kiran on those situations.

Um, so we'll see if that change. Like Blake is a good football player. We're going to talk about Blakem at some point. Eyes and feet connected, all that stuff. Um, but Kairen continues to just be a value every single year. Even if we were right that Blake was going to steal more, it ultimately like didn't matter when it came to fantasy points.

Yeah, Rams were too good. Bucky Irving is your running back 19. Interesting conversation because his first year was just pure electricity. That was with Liam Cohen. He was forcing his tackles. He was reeling off explosives. All that type of stuff. Looked like one of the best runners in the league. Point blank. Then this past year, he gets injured. He obviously is going through it um because he just wants to play ball. But then when he returns, he did not get a single carry inside the five yard line in his 10 games. Shawn Tucker, Rashad White combined for nine of those. So Shawn Tucker returns. Kenny Gainwell basically replaces Rashad White. But at the same time, we have a new play caller here in Zack Robinson who also split work in his previous home with the Atlanta Falcons. So as much as we loved Bucky Irving's rookie season, the pathway to getting there, I think, is a bit murkier than typically given credit.

Yeah. And I just think that I get a little bit worried because he's a smaller player. He dealt with multiple injuries this last year. So it was a shoulder and then a foot injury. He had to have offseason shoulder surgery as well here. So that's in the back of my mind. Kenny Gainwell was like a real contract. He's a very good player. He was the Steelers freaking MVP for crying out loud last year. So I think he threatens Bucky in the receiving games in ways that Rashad White did. And like you said, the Shawn Tucker was like legitimately mixing in at the goal line. So this one feels a little bit more fragile than the guys that we're talking about. I think like this is to me kind of where the tier the tier break is because we're dealing with players coming off of injury. That said, when Buckyy's going, he's like really going. And the Buccaneers do feel like a team that got a lot better this um off season just because of some veterans on the front seven on defense last year and they they were a really bad defensive team last year. I just expect them to be a little bit more balanced this season.

Right. Cam Scaboo closes out your top 20. You're a couple head couple spots ahead of ADP on him. He's running back 22 on underdog at this very moment. Uh really just seven healthy weeks last year. He scored as a top 21 running back in three of those seven weeks. What are you expecting here in his year two?

Yeah, so he dodges Jeremiah Love here. Um, and it's just going to be the same uh three running backs. They brought back Singleary. It's still Tyrone Tracy at the RB2 spot and it just comes down to Cam Scataba's return from a dislocated ankle. Uh because he was running away with like to me like offensive rookie of the year. He was going to be uh an RB1 to close the season. He was for like the last month of the season. He caught passes. He was the goal lineback. He was looking good. All of that could be better because they just added Francis Malaninoa uh to play guard in the first round plus Jackson Gart going into the second season. Maybe the coaching staff is is a upgrade as well here. So, it just comes down to what's our risk appetite for a dislocated ankle. Like the recent example is like Tony Pard who was available early on, was not as efficient as he was uh before the injury, but then has since rebounded. Maybe he starts the season a little bit slower here, but volume's king and Cam Scatterab's just been eating volume his entire life. And if that happens, this would be ranked too low.

Chat, you're very lucky. Uh, I didn't do the meme of Cam Scataboo, the streamer, because uh, that's kind of what he's been as of late. Yeah. I mean, what we heard from Jordan Ronan and company all offseason is that Harbaugh just wants to run the freaking football on offense.

Uh, and it sounded like they were in for Kin Walker, they were in for Travis Aan, they were in for Jeremiah Love, and they swung out on all three occasions and couldn't get any of them. And so, if that's the case, then you still have this trio at running back. And, uh, Cam Scataboo uh, should be ranked the highest of that group. All right, For as much as you hate Trevon Henderson as a player, it intrigues me that he is running back 21 for you. Uh, so why is he ranked ahead of Reandre Stevenson from your perspective when every week last season you kept telling me that Randre Stevenson

Was the better football player? >> Uh, well, he was scoring a lot more fantasy points. Uh, so I'll count that as a win for me. I'm changing my tune going into the second season because players get better throughout their uh early career. Um, plus, like, the offense, like, I feel very comfortable with the offense. Like that was something that I could not fully project going into this last season. Like, now the entire offensive line is back. There's more depth on the offensive line. They got players going back to their natural positions. I'm factoring in AJ Brown being part of this team. So this team should just be better and hopefully Trayvon stops fumbling. It gets the vision cleaned up a little bit more. Um, and now they have like a very direct path on how Trayvon Henderson is going to be utilized. I always will think he's going to be a Raheem Moert-styled player where his best asset is getting to the edge and taking it to the house from there, and then everything else a little bit more murky. And obviously Raandra is the exact opposite. So I'd be surprised if he turns into the bellcow, but he will be an explosive player on a good offense, and I think that's like an RB23 player. There was a large portion of last season in the middle of the year where their best rushing was outside carries to Trayvon Henderson because the blocking from the really tackle to tackle, but mainly guard to guard was horrific.

>> Just they couldn't move anyone off the line. They were allowing instant disruption, all this type of stuff. And it was what that Bears game. I'm trying to remember what game it was. Anyways, it was just swings and pitches and all that type of stuff over and over again. They knew this, and this is why they've tried to shift things around on the interior in moving Jared Wilson over to center and getting rid of the lightweight Garrett Bradberry, and then hopefully Elijah Barry Tucker comes in and plays healthy and plays at his best, and that's like, you know, a moving company at left guard, center, and right guard there with Mike Benwinu as well.

>> Yeah, offensive line should be at least decent this year as long as Will Campbell can take the next step up. So feel good about it.

>> DeAndre Swift as your running back 22. If you told me prior to last season, Hayden, that Ben Johnson would roll into 2026 with no changes to his backfield, I would not have believed you. But that's what happens when DeAndre Swift finishes as the running back 15 in points per game. And once again, everything kind of changed after their by-week. They figured out kind of the core principle blocking wins that they had. It was get on the move with Swift. Remember like the Benadet stuff at left tackle where they'd pull him and block out defensive backs. So, uh, what are your thoughts here with Swift now in his, I don't know, fourth season with Ben Johnson as his coach?

>> Yeah. So, I agree with you that I'm surprised that he's hanging on, but I think credit is due here. He's just gotten better. I think last year he kind of tightened up his game a little bit. There's always going to be the danciness with DeAndre Swift, but for a while there it was like, "Okay, we can't even get this guy on the football field." I think last year he tightened it up. Uh, and then obviously Ben Johnson's like playing into his strengths. The Bears were an awesome offense last year. I'm expecting the same thing to to to happen here. And then the offensive line has some warts, but they still have Darnell Wright, Jonah Jackson's back, Garrett Bradberry swaps in at center. They still got Joe Tuni. And then left tackle, they're going to try a couple different guys out there. So, it's not the perfect offensive line. DeAndre Swift's not the perfect player, but this is a lot lower than where he was ranking um in the back half of uh last season where he was pretty much like flirting with like RB1 numbers.

>> Yeah, no one's a Swift person anymore. So, it's uh I used to never be. I'm I'm cool with taking the mantle like we did halfway through last season, you know? I mean, he's being drafted right now as running back 25 and here as your running back 22. I guess my only question is will they trust Kangai more than they did last year? Uh, now he's a year two player in the system. Maybe this seventh round label has worn off a little bit. He's just a running back in the room. Uh, if so, maybe there'll still be a couple more touches.

All right. >> Yes.

>> Jaren Price is your running back 23, the second rookie on this list. We talked about it in the dynasty rookie rankings for your dynasty leagues out there. What do you want to add here with Jarian Price uh, as the lead ball carrier for the Seattle Seahawks? That's the part I just want to keep stressing. Like whether you loved Jadarian Price as a fringe round one guy or not, he it's his backfield, man. I He's dealing with Emanuel Wilson who signed for $550,000 guaranteed and then the RB3 and RB4 uh have zero guaranteed money on their contract. Zack Charbanet had his surgery on February 20th. If he returns nine months after that, we're talking about week 12. And usually there's a ramp-up period there as well. And by week 12, if Jaden Price has not fully established himself as the clear like bellcow for this team, that's something's gone wrong here. So, we're talking about an awesome defense, a team that should be in games, a very balanced offense. Uh, he's 203 pounds, so maybe he loses some touches at the goal line, but I don't know, man. Like, these other guys on the roster shouldn't be uh entering in versus your first-round running back. So, I think by the time Sharon gets back in the mix, it should be Price all the way. Yeah, I do think it's a Mike McDaniel overarching thought that his team is going to rotate running backs. Like Clint Kubak in previous stops has basically relied on one guy and then he gets to Seattle and you know they're all >> But is that just because Charban and Walker both deserve touches? Like, is there any other evidence? Like maybe it's just like that they had to get Charbanet touches because they drafted him in the second round and now that's no longer the case.

>> Possibly. But again, I I think Clint Kubak in his past has always like, "Hey, if we have one guy who's the best, then we can go with him." And then they get to Seattle and the entire season, no matter what, it's a split backfield. So, no matter I mean, Jude Darren Price is going to get a ton of touches here. I just think it could be Jeremiah Loveesque in passing situations that you have the Emanuel Wilson's and especially like the George Hanis until Zack Sharp comes back.

>> Yeah. Yeah. Last note, Seahawks offensive coordinator is now or comes from the 49ers where he was there from 2019 to 2025. Run game coordinator this last year. So, I think like, you know, a pretty balanced offense here is like fully the expectation.

>> I I totally agree with you that he should be going above where he is because he's being drafted as running back 26 and you have him as running back 23. Uh, by the way, I'm on the clock right now and I got Jir Gibbs as the third overall pick. So, uh, you should be playing an underdog right now, too. I mean, start drafting. You hear us talk about baseball all the time. I'm about to take a vacation. Everyone else about to take a vacation. Go and draft while you're on vacation on the beach, just looking out the water, making some baseball picks. Come on. By the way, weekly winners is awesome. You draft one team, it's the DFS lineup for 17 weeks. The eliminator is my new favorite structure, though. It's head-to-head all the way to week 17 finals. If you can get there, that is that's as good as it gets.

>> Yeah, I'm more traditional in my stuff. I even like the sit and goes where >> I know you you're sick >> all season 12 and then whoever has the best roster wins the cash.

>> By the way, your boy over here won the Bandit Bowl last year. Took down all the employees.

>> Let's go.

>> Uh again, link in the description, promo code the show. I believe the promo right now is play five, get 50. But don't hold me to that. Quinn Judkins is your running back 24. The yards per carry stuff not good. Underlying metrics might look just a little bit better, but still not great. But this is a true use your eyes. Uh, because on a terrible team, he was the brightest spot.

>> It's the same injury that Cam Scatteraboo is dealing with. Uh, it was feared to be worse, but I do think it's just like just a dislocated uh ankle there. So it's same thing applies from the Cam Scataba discussion. He was not nearly as good in fantasy as Scataba was. I don't think he catches passes as cleanly. Uh, Dylan Samson I think is a good pairing with Quinshaw Judkins. And then compared to the Giants offensive line, I still have a lot of questions here. They did get a first uh round left tackle at Spencer Fawn who's kicking over to the to the left side there. Zion Johnson, he got a bag, but was not my favorite player. Elton Jenkins got a decent pay uh pay bump, but also dealing with uh some injuries. Kevin Jenkins and then Titus Howard gonna play tackle again there. Know, lots of moving parts in this offense, including uh at head coach. I will say Todd Monkin is probably looking around this this team and like, we're going to run the ball with Quinc Junkkins as much as we can. Like that's the history. He's one of their best players on the offense. The quarterbacks stink. So I think it'll be 18 disgusting touches for Quinc Judkins, but I'll take him.

Let's talk David Montgomery because you are lower than consensus on him. He's being drafted as running back 21. He is your running back 25. No longer a Detroit Lion. Really the only move the Houston Texans made in their backfield and it's a I think seismic one when you look at, you know, the Woody Marks compared to Deont here. So, uh, why might you be slightly more concerned than the public? I think David Montgomery is a player that I appreciate, but he is somebody that's been hit a lot. And I worry that changing teams as a 29-year-old going to an offensive line that's way worse than he was with with the Lions is going to be kind of a culture shock for him. And then they at least have other guys that they can give touches to and Woody Mark. So the Texans, they're trying on their offensive line. They keep changing players. It's still not the best. We'll see how great their new guard, the first-round pick, uh, Keelin Rutage is going to be. And he might play some center for them as well, by the way, which would be him changing positions. Um, so I'm just worried that David Montgomery is just like not going to feel as good as he was the last couple years. Remember, nobody wanted him after that Bears season when he was dealing with a really bad offensive line. That was when he was a 25-year-old. So now we're dealing with that situation as a as a 29-year-old. I get a little bit nervous.

Basel Tutin is your running back, 26. Uh, I don't think you're part of the Toutin tribe yet. I think he's a big winner of the draft and free agency. Of course, >> his only competition is Chris Rodriguez. Really? I mean, the Quint Allen's going to keep his four-minute, two-minute, and like real pass-down situation stuff, but I'm assuming the Jaguars based on their moves and based on their actions are still quite high internally here in Bial to.

>> Yeah, I'm guessing so, too. I think they wanted to find Jadarian Price in the second round. They obviously couldn't do that because of the Seahawks. Um, but yeah, they're just down to Chris Rodriguez and Tuton. I think stylistically two extremely different players. I think they both will get touches. They want Toutin to win this thing out. But I do think that Chris Rodriguez has a history with Liam Cohen and is the more trusted player. Toutin was like going the wrong direction uh at times last season and then still making big plays. So I I don't know how internally they view that. He's he's a boom-bust player to me as many fourth, fifth-round picks are. This offense is good though. So like he he has a lot of of runway from here. I also think that he has, you know, some some negative outcomes as well.

>> Yeah. At some point after our multi-week break, we go back and look at the second-year players at wide receiver and running back and review all that tape. Uh, I'm excited to do that with Bachelot and a few of these other talents that we've talked about here. Chuba Hubard is your running back 27. He sucked last year in terms of his underlying metrics, but guess what? It's because he was injured. And while he was injured, Rico Data went off for multiple 200-yard games. Uh, but really, as soon as Chuba came back and showed a glimpse of health, he then just went back and overtook >> Rico Dat. Uh, so this backfield on a team that likes to run the football is Chuba Hubard and Jonathan Brooks. And then away we go. New center, uh, new left tackle. Um, I did like both of the replacements that they got for those spots, but just kind of interesting what they're what they're dealing with over there. I think how you said it is is really accurate. He was bad because he was injured, and then by the end of the season, they're like, you know, we do love some some Cheba Hubard here. He's going to be dealing with uh Jonathan Brooks, who is apparently healthy. It's been a couple ACLs uh that we're talking about here. I would like some evidence that he's actually healthy.

>> Okay. Um, but that he like looks good and all that type of stuff. But I think that there's a little bit of a chance that Jonathan Brooks uh mixes in here, but at the same time, there's really no excuse for this Panthers offense to not be like league average. Uh, they pretty much were in a lot of metrics uh last year, maybe just a tad uh below average. Um, but Tedella going into year two, Bryce playing better football this last year than the year before that. Um, and the the coaching staff is what the year three of the experiment. So, we should see a league average offense and the starter on a league average offense uh should typically be going higher than this. I just think there's like some chance that Brooks mixes in.

>> Would you say that there's a tier break here?

>> Um, I can be convinced on one more.

>> Okay. Well, the one more is Jaylen Warren of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Um, fascinating year last year. Obviously, we have a new play caller going from Arthur Smith now to Mike McCarthy. Uh, they lose Kenny Gainwell who got the vast majority of his production in crazy receiving stats from Aaron Rodgers, which talk about crazy situation that Aaron Rogers is found in right now. Uh, but Jaylen Warren is still in this team and then you bring in who they bring in Hayden.

>> Big Rico, your boy.

>> Rico Dattle.

>> Rico Nasty.

>> My brain is kaput.

>> I know about Jaylen War at 28.

>> I'm with you. I'm in. I'm so in like NFL draft mode still. Um, where we're trying,

>> you know how bad my brain is? I've I almost like said that the Dolphins drafted Francis Malaninoa because

>> so many times we like that in my mind I thought it was truth.

>> Yeah, I know. I I've I'm dealing with the same thing. Uh

>> yeah. So Rico Dael signed a 2-year $12 million contract. $5 million was guaranteed. So that's like real money. Like Rico Dout is going to get touches. Jaylen Warren though was already splitting reps last year with Kenny Gainwell and was like still holding the line as like a half PPR flex starter. He was a 52nd overall player on a per-game basis. I got him ranked 62nd overall. I'm just going to keep saying it. I think the Steelers offense is like pretty dang solid. Um, despite not having a quarterback right now, but Darnell Washington's an awesome blocking tight end. Potano is an awesome right tackle. Uh, they return their center who's awesome. The right guard is a good player and then uh, they got to get healthier with Brick Jones uh at left tackle, but the rest of those guys could really, really push piles and I think that this the identity of the offense is going to be pretty through the running backs and it just comes down to like who's going to be the goal-line early-down guy is that Warren or Rico Dowel? Um, and I do think that in passing situations, we lost that with Kenny Gainwell last year, but two years ago, we viewed Jaylen Warren as kind of this like passing-down specialist, and I can see him catching more passes this season.

>> Yeah, Roderick Jones, I'm assuming, even if he is healthy, is just going to be replaced, and they're going to move Troy Fatano to left tackle and then have Maxer playing right tackle. And then if you look at their center and right guard are really locked down >> studs.

>> And then even Jennings Dunker maybe moving over to the left guard spot with Spencer Anderson. So like >> on paper the Steelers offensive line of the two rookies play really well could be quite good.

>> Quite good.

>> And if you look at those the draft picks that they had Dunker and I think you can view it those guys as like run-first style picks. So I just think everything about this identity is for these guys. And like I know 13 personnel is the new wave in this stuff. Arthur Smith was doing that two three years in advance. Now Johnny Smith is gone, but you also have uh your six offensive lineman here in Darnell Washington. Raandre Stevenson is here as running back 29. We already talked about his running mate in Trevian. Anything you want to add here with Mandre?

>> This is a big discount versus where he finished last year. He's the 31st overall player. Got him at 68th overall here. I think that Trevon should get more touches going into the second season there. and Raandre I believe is more or less a contract season for him just based off how it's how it's structured. Uh, like we said, the offensive line should be a lot better with Elijah Vera Tucker there, Jared Wilson going to center where he's a supreme athlete. Um, so hopefully they figure this thing out. Um, and I I still think at the one-yard line, it's most of the time going to be Raandre Stevenson. So in half PPR standard leagues, I I think he's holding on to flex value still.

RJ Harvey is your running back 30. The first Broncos running back off the board. Why?

>> Well, he needs to be. I mean, they drafted him in the second dang round uh last season. Uh, I can't say I loved his tape. Um, I thought he was very, very boom-bust. And I think there's a reason why JK Dobbins was so far ahead of him for most of the season and in comes Jonah Coleman to be, you know, an insurance option to JK Dobbins. So, I I don't think there's going to be a bellcow back path to RJ Harvey, but he's super explosive. The offense is good, the offensive line is good, the play caller's good, so if he can get good, then all of a sudden we have uh an RB2 on our hands. Um, but I thought he was a boom-bust prospect and I thought he was looking more like a bust last year. But, you know, I'm not saying that's going to be the case for his entire rookie contract.

This is different than I test. Just from a fantasy lens, I think his season last year has been underrated and overlooked. Like if you look from week eight on, he finished as a top 11 running back six times. Six times.

>> Um, he was getting all the work. I'm not saying that's going to be the case because obviously JK Dobbins was injured and you bring in Jonah Coleman, but who knows what's going through the brain of of Shawn Payeyton, but that was, you know, a running back six, nine, then two-down weeks, then four, five, then running back 24, then running back 11, and running back 11. And that's in the most pivotal weeks of your fantasy football season. And it just feels like RJ Harvey's been left for dead by a ton of people out there.

>> Um, yeah. And I also just wanted to mention the Broncos were like the healthiest team until Bo Nicks snapped his ankle at the worst time. But like during the regular season, this team went 14 and three. They were blowing everybody out and like everything was going perfectly. Like typically there's just some state of regression even if we like love the Broncos roster, especially with Jaylen Wadd. So yeah, I would be pretty surprised if if R.J. Harvey does have any fantasy value this Like that would be complete shock. Like he should be like the RB3 mix and there's there's upside here.

Speaking of Tony Pard is your running back 31. This is the first Titans running back here on the board. Uh, they were linked with Jeremiah Love. They really weren't linked with other free agents. Uh, and then their only other investment in this backfield was a fifth-round rookie. And Nick Singleton, who I'll speak for us, uh, we did not love him coming out of Penn State. So

>> Tony Pard was in a crap situation last year. I kind of got a bit too excited about it. Uh, but he finds himself in the exact same spot and just hopefully an improved environment here.

>> Yeah. And he's being paid $9 million. Uh, none of it's guaranteed. Um, but I I think he's going to be remaining on on the team here. And when I was reading the Titans reporters, uh, they were saying that Singleton is like direct competition for Ta Spears and this was not about Tony Pard at all. And how I read that is Pard is their best runner and then Singleton and Ta Spears as the compliment are kind of competing with each other. Uh, and you mentioned it down the stretch with the RJ Harvey numbers, like if you have those in front of you. Tony Pard down the stretch was cooking with gas and that was a terrible coaching staff and hopefully they get a little bit better on the offensive line. They didn't really add much to it, so I'm a little bit nervous there. Uh, and Tony Pard is what is he 29? Yeah, 29 years old. So, there's definitely some warts on the profile. Like, is there a chance he kind of squeezes by as a like flex running back this year? I do think that's still very possible.

Okay. Rico Dattle is your running back 32. Anything you want to add here in the conversation we have with Jaylen Warren.

>> Just add the two years $12 million. Five of it guaranteed uh running profile and the Steelers want to run the ball. So it's just whoever's better between him and Warren.

What about Kungai and Blake Cororm who check in as running back? 33 and 34.

>> Both of them have contingent value and I think that they are clearly the RB2s and there's not really an RB3 present for both of them. And then I think the RB1s are fairly solidified but like not untouchable. So I think these guys are they're not pure handcuffs or more than that. But if you're starting these guys, you're probably not loving your team unless you're in like a deep standard league. But um, I like him as picks.

Next is the first Vikings running back off the board and that's Jordan Mason. He actually had incredible rushing underlying metrics and he seemingly has his entire career.

>> Um, they, you know, would like to stay healthier along the offensive line. Uh, you know, Ryan Kelly now is no longer a part of this team and I believe he might have retired. Obviously, Christian Darasaw was in and out in and out and uh, yeah, I mean, this Vikings team was one that I would have pegged to add something at the running back spot and they did not other than a six-round rookie uh, in Deont Claybornne. And in fact, they added a fullback here in Max Bredesen.

>> Right. It's going to be Mason versus Aaron Jones and I think that Mason's the guy I want to attach myself with. I don't hate Aaron Jones where he's being selected so late. Um, the quarterback play and the offensive line injuries derailed this last season. I think Kyler Murray's is like being undersold as how much of an upgrade that is versus what they have been dealing with. And then uh on paper their offensive line looks pretty solid if they can get fully back to healthy. So uh, there's some upside here. Jordan Mason is just like never going to be a like full-time player just the way that he operates. So yeah, I want to draft some Vikings this year though. I was like looking at my rankings. I'm pretty far ahead on Jordan Addison and Kyler Murray and then even TJ Hawinson. Like I think there's a chance Kevin Oonnell hits us with like you better not have forgotten what I'm capable of, you know?

Sounds like they might be adding Jawan Jennings as well over the next day and a half as he's visiting. Okay. Rashad White is now a Washington commander. Uh, and he joins Bill Kroski Merritt and these are the top two runners on the commanders on this list. So why don't we just talk through this backfield? What do you have to say?

>> So in comes Katron Allen uh who's somebody I appreciated. He's an early-down type of rusher without a lot of juice. Rashad White is been around, but he only signed a $2 million contract one uh year obviously. So that's not starter money. Like that's not even like for sure backup money. Like that's just like not a lot of money at all for a veteran. So this one's wide open. Bill Crosky Merritt has the most explosiveness of the three. Rashad White is going to be the passing-down back as a protection and just receiving ability. Like I feel very firm about that. That's not the greatest fantasy role, but in full PPR leagues, he can kind of hang in there. Bill or Kron, there's there's a chance one of these guys kind of works in like we saw with Chris Rodriguez and Bill last year. So, um, I tweeted tweeted this out yesterday. I feel better about Bill this year than last year when the hype got completely out of control. I was not part of that hype at all. I just feel better like my ranking this year will probably be higher than it was this last season. And um, the offensive line should be at least decent with their right tackle going into year two as well.

Moving on, Chris Rodriguez is here at 38th. Uh, Liam Cohen coached him in college, brought him from the Commanders down to the Jaguars, offers a different body type than anyone else on that Jaguars roster. I mean, his three yards after contact per attempt over the last two seasons. Actually leads all running backs to at least 100 carries. Uh, and this is exactly what they cite when they talked about adding him was his, you know, yards after contact. So maybe you can bring that here to Jacksonville. Yeah, Liam Con was like hitting us with comments like, "If you need four yards, he's getting you five yards. If you need six yards, he's getting you seven yards." Like, he really does appreciate Chris Rodriguez. What it sounds like to me, Hayden, like reading between the lines, it's oh, if Bashel tootses it up uh in a bad way like that, like

>> I like it. Farts around.

>> Then, hey, we just have Chris Rodriguez hitting singles and doubles for us all game long.

>> Yep. And if we want to do the efficiency spreadsheet, bros, like Chris Rodriguez efficiency is right there, man. So, I think this is very real. The contract, by the way, was staggering. I remember when we uh when we were doing our free agency videos, they signed him. We're like, "Oh, that's interesting." And then like an hour later, in comes the contract stuff. We're like, "Oh, that's that's very interesting." He got uh 10 million, $6 million guaranteed, $4 million signing bonus. They hit him with a bunch of void years because they wanted to make sure this contract could squeeze in on the cap. So, I think I think the interest is very real and I think it's a tossup at who's gonna get the first goal-line carry of the season, Rodriguez or Tutin. I think that's a legit tossup.

You want to do some double time to finish this out?

>> Yep.

>> Okay. JK Dobbins is your running back 39. If someone said they had JK Dobbins ranked ahead of RJ Harvey, would you say, "Yeah, me too." But I really don't want to put it out there.

>> Uh, no. I can't get there. This I'm worried about my guy JK. I mean, another huge injury from him this last year. I feel so bad.

The thing is with with JK Dobbins is postseason stuff, you can say, well, in all the games he's played, he's ranked top 10, top 15, all these metrics. And I'm never one to say like a guy, you know, has an injury history or injury-riddled and all that type of stuff, injury-prone. But the reason why you can get him here and he still has all those metrics is because he just can't finish a season. It's that simple. Yeah, he has uh incentives in his contract if he hits like 1,200 scrimmage yards and that type of stuff. So, there's a pathway, but it's it's pretty dicey at this point. I think that the Jonah Coleman selection, I think, you know, poured some cold water on any JK Dobbins hype here. So, I wouldn't be surprised if week one rankings come along and like I I do have Dobbins like right there with RJ Harvey and the projections see it the same way. Like you said, it's it's the entire, you know, season that we're worried about, though. Yeah, I'm gonna plant a flag and say you will have taken retire.

>> I probably will. Hand up. Hand up. Guilty.

>> Okay, we're gonna talk about the Vikings backfield. So, there goes Aaron Jones. And then let's get to Kenny Gainwell at I screwed up these numbers at 41 >> overall. Um, talk to me because again, all his production last year was in the receiving game. Do you think he's going to be able to do that same receiving stuff here with the Bucks?

>> Not nearly as much. I think that that's why they signed him. They gave him good money. He's going to have a role in full PPR. He's going to be better than RB41. And at the same time, Bucky Irving can catch the ball here. Um, and there's just more options to throw the ball to um in Tampa Bay than what the Steelers were dealing with. And I think a large part of that was Aaron Rogers, you know, he did not want to get hit and he's such a psycho before the ball snapped that he's trying trying to dice things up for um Kenny Gainwell. And I don't think that Baker Mayfield has that playing style. In fact, like it's the exact opposite playing style. I just don't think he's going to catch the ball as much. And we're not talking about the Liam Cohen days when the Buccaneers were awesome throwing the ball to running backs that dipped this last year predictably so without Liam going.

Jonathan Brooks is your running back 42. Uh, I want him to be successful so badly.

>> Um, even in like the 30 touches he had as a rookie. Like there were a couple ones that he made people miss, had some explosive plays, especially in the receiving game. Uh, I just hope that's the case. Like I I I want him to work because uh he's a fun player and this team could really utilize some yards after catch options for sure.

>> Yeah, he claims he's almost 100% um feels good getting back to the football movement, getting there still just going through the plan what they have for me is what he just said today. So,

>> I'm rooting for he has been fully cleared and he's like was running off to the side at the end of last year and so it'll just be like I'm sure we'll hear reports of he'll take a practice on and then a practice off and those types of things but you know

>> Trevor Han is the third running back on this team and if John Brooks is healthy, I think he's clearly going to be the RB2.

Tyron Tracy Giants running back too you would think uh still existing in this backfield uh no longer Brian Dball uh instead it's Matt Naggie and I still think Tyron Tracy has NFL skills, you know, just who knows how much that equals touches on a weekly basis.

>> Yeah, I think that he would be the RB2 if Cam Scatteraboo has a setback or something like that. Um, but you know, he's he's fine at both phases, but not great at either of them. And I think that that just makes it kind of difficult. So, I have him ranked a little bit higher than I would if I firmly knew that Cam Scataboo was like fully ready to go. So,

how about two second-year passing down backs in Woody Marks and Dylan Samson? Yeah, Woody Marks not my cup of tea. Um, if I'm being honest, as a rusher, I think that he has some value as a pass catcher, but still don't have a lot of faith in the Texans offense and David Montgomery's old reliable. So, Woody Marks had like some moments as a rookie in fantasy, but I never thought that the tape got there. I'll say the exact opposite with Dylan Samson where I think the tape is pretty decent there, but with Quid Shaw Junkkins, the state of that offense just like hard for him to kind of find find an impact. So, I like the player more in real life than Dynasty.

>> Yeah. I I thought when Quinn Sean got in the lineup, it was very clear who the better player was, but then Dylan Samson could like pull a Jerome Ford and uh have some like spike weeks as a receiver.

Okay, I'm going to clear out this tier. Tyler Algier, Mike Washington Jr. who a rookie backing up Ashen Genty. Isaiah Pacheco now the Detroit Lions. Brian Robinson now of the Atlanta Falcons. And Tank Bsby. Yeah, he makes it top 50 tank Bigsby. Uh, now of the Philadelphia Eagles. Anything you want to say about those five backups?

>> They have no value unless the starter in front of them goes down and then if the starter in front of them goes down, we will be talking about them relentlessly on our ranking shows. So, all you know, there's no way to kind of distinguish between them all. Um, I guess I'll mention just Mike Washington because he's the rookie. You know, 223 pounds, caught 28 passes, is fast as um not very elusive on space because he kind of runs upright um and he's still trying to figure out his plan but his competition is Dylan Lowi and he's going to be the >> Could not get more different in body type.

>> I mean, I know Dylan Lobby like probably shows up to the weight room like what the hell is going on over here? Um

>> remember when Dylan Lowi was uh getting passing down work last year for the Raiders? Like that should have been the first red flag of that regime. Well, yeah. I thought that the red flag was he's chatting with like Davis Madak and everybody and then all of a sudden it's like, "Okay, this is probably not gonna go well."

>> Oh, shout out. Come on. Um, yeah. I mean, my question for his size at 223, you'd think he's a powerback. No, he's a high variance big playback. And, uh,

>> Yep.

>> If he gets 10 touches a game, he might reel off a 30-yarder.

>> He's not getting 10 touches, but Genty gets a lot of them, and that makes him pretty high odds of getting injured.

Okay, final five. Brillan Allen, Jonah Coleman, the rookie with the Denver Broncos, Taj Spears, Katon Mitchell, fantasy football Twitter's favorite player, and Kron Allen, the rookie out of Penn State who joins that backfield in the Commanders. Um, if you to ask me today which one of these guys has the highest number of touches during their rookie season without an injury in front of them, I think I'm TA Spears. What about you?

>> I think Spears will get involved there. I don't think it's going to be enough to be fantasy relevant. I mean, he was getting touches last year and we never brought up his name at all. So, I'm kind of still looking at all these guys as contingent value plays. Um, maybe Katon Mitchell can get enough carries to to make a difference. Um, but I think it's going to be like best baseball-styled carries where you're just like what what week is the big play coming is is much it's a lot more fun to play in baseball than reddraft when you're just playing whack-a-mole. Uh, I did want to bring up Kron Allen just because he had kind of a bellcow profile at Penn State. Can catch the ball, pass protect a little bit, nothing too crazy there. Reliable rusher. The commander depth chart is really, really bad. So, among six-rounders, like could he work his way and have a Kyle Manungai type of season? I think I think that's possible with him. But like, these guys aren't like your standard reddraft leagues. I hope you aren't dealing with this this tier. This is this is pure baseball stuff now.

You know, there's an injury, which they're going to be at this position. I'm sure we'll be talking about at least one of these names in the top 20 at some point this season.

>> I agree. All right, that does it. We have concluded the first wave of running back rankings. Uh, by the way, just going to throw this out there for all of you watching over an hour and 10 minutes into this. If you would like us to have some sort of a, you know, running draft guide this summer, let us know in the comments down below. We're toying with the idea. We would love some feedback on it, you know.

>> Yeah. What are you looking for? Like what exactly does not exist that you want on a website app type of thing? Like don't let me cook. I got a couple months here to cook something up and you know give me some good ideas here.

>> Yeah, it'd be different than like the PDF that we put out previously. Uh, this would be like something that we can constantly update easily.

>> Uh, and you know, I think the earlier the better for us to put it out there. So, uh, if you want our updated rankings, let us know in the comments. There we go. All right, thanks to Mosha and we behind the scenes. Thank you to everyone who watches this channel, hits subscribes and leaves a thumbs up and a like on the video. So more and more people can find it. We'll be back here tomorrow with wide receiver rankings up the bill. We'll talk to you guys soon.
