Hey everybody. Give you a second to join me here.
So, we're going to talk a little bit more today about our karmic relationship theme, and it ties very much in with what's going on topically. So, we'll get to that in a second.
So, we had uh Venus and Mars conjunct yesterday with the sun. And it was also involved with the full moon, and it's in the sign of Capricorn. And this is not an unusual cycle. We get this once a year. Venus and Mars are um pretty familiar with each other. So we have a beginning of a new cycle, and it's particular uh in Capricorn. Things are particular in Capricorn. This is where we have um quality over quantity. And so we are starting out a new yearly cycle that helps us to harmonize, cooperate, to come into balance. It brings the masculine and feminine principles within our lives and within our selves and our experience into a cohesive, integrated oneness. So, it's good. It's a good thing because we want to be in step with what it is that we prefer or love, or the object of our desire or affection, what it is that we want.
When Mars and Venus are in a a favorable aspect together, there's still a little bit of the right kind of friction, even with the easy aspects. It's a good thing with this particular combination. Uh, but when they're in tune with each other and in step with each other, that means that we are on the same page. We're in, you know, tandem motion with what it is, who it is that we want and prefer.
When Mars is out of step with Venus, it's harder to get what we want. It's harder to have our passions and our particular brand of energy and action successfully go after, keep time with, and land what it is successfully that we want. And so we can be more frustrated. We can feel like a a loser, um, unsuccessful. Performance anxiety. And so when we've got the good aspects between Venus and Mars, it makes it more likely that we will be successful when it comes to satisfying ourselves, getting what it what it is that we want. In the end, it makes us feel good about ourselves. Has that effect on the ego. Tells us what we're capable of. Gives us a reflection of our, you know, prowess and also our attractiveness. And we can really miss out on that kind of information, or get the wrong, or the information we don't want, or come off in ways that we don't want to be seen or um, remembered with the difficult aspects. So, it's a good thing when we are in agreement with others, when we're in step with others. It's a cooperative influence.
Now, it's in Capricorn. Capricorn is about being more careful about our step. It's about strategy, and we don't want to waste our energy with Mars in Capricorn. And that's why we tend to plan out and think ahead before we will pursue. And Venus has a much more conservative, even classy approach, approach in Capricorn. And so it is a cycle that is starting out showing us that there is a high standard and there is a high expectation of affection, investment, cooperation that we come into relationship with. And it is that high standard that um, expectation that we will receive and respect and appreciate what it is that we really deserve.
So look at where this particular conjunction is starting off. What is it aspecting in your chart? And that's where you're going to have this good alignment here. This or injection of good and alignment between a personal and social or romantic, you know, steps. Helps us to look at things in a more mature way, really, and not settle for what is not ready, or half-baked, or uh, insecure, or not available. So really a focus on quality over quantity when it comes to investments and relationships and what it is that we buy. We're going to see less buying. We're going to see less purchasing. We're going to see less consumerism during this period of time because it is about quality over quantity and about investing in and with and buying things that are going to last, that have a they're proven. And we have a shelf life as well. So Venus is just not our personal life. It's our social life, and it's our financial life as well.
One degree below boiling. Just the way I like it. All my liquids have to be lava hot. In the 80s, when my parents would take us through the McDonald's drive-thru, and they would, you'd get the old-fashioned apple pie, and it should have said on the side, caution, filled with lava. I loved it.
The other thing I wanted to touch on here was the transit of Pluto through Capricorn because we've had a little while to uh reflect on what that brought. It was in Capricorn for a while. It went into Capricorn in 2008 and it was about in 2010. Looking back now that we have a bit of some 2020 vision and we can see trends related to uh the outer planets. We can see the um consequences, the effects of these outer outer cycles. It was around 2010 that we started to see the movement more towards singlehood or isolation, the falling birth rates, more ideas about being single, uh, anti-natalism. And it was the beginning, not the beginning actually. It was the beginning of the end. It had been in play for a while, the crumbling of our institutions, but this is when things really started to not just be broken, but show their brokenness. And there's a lot of things regarding normalcy, traditions, regularity, the typical boundaries of things that changed and mutated. And that was when we really saw the early years, the very early years of Pluto and Capricorn is when we saw huge changes in our ideas about commitment and about um normalcy, traditional roles. And so we've had a few years now to see what this has really become and where this has gone, this particular trend. And it's been helped along with Neptune and Saturn being together, Neptune being at the very last degrees of the long-term cycle in Pisces. Astrology of cycles within cycles, but Pluto specifically going through Capricorn really ate away a lot of the inauthenticity and the power dynamics that were propping up our ideas and uh traditions around commitment, normalcy, regularity, roles, expectations. And Pluto really threw us into uh headlong in in into the individuation process. Um, many people have failed, and many people are going to come back from the brink. Some of us don't individuate till late in life. We don't really find out who we are or get authentic about how we live our life, how we conduct ourself. We don't get straight with our conscience or live in accordance to our own expectations about self-respect. And Pluto really pushed that process hard. Because Pluto exposes what is unhealthy, what is untrue, what needs to come into the light in order to be known so it can be named and assimilated, healed, addressed. And so in those very early years, we saw the very beginnings of the uh loneliness epidemic, the isolation epidemic. It was the beginnings of dating online, the beginnings of social media. And uh, it was not really the beginnings, but I would say the when the ball really started turning, rolling down the hill. And we had a lot of social changes coming in during that time that Pluto was in Capricorn.
I'm sorry. I have I know I keep messing with my hair, but I have like these little stray hairs that keep coming down messing with my nose that you can't see, but it's really irritating. Hey, FG. So, it's a it's a study in what it looks like for a lot of people to pursue themselves or to pursue their own individualness alongside many many institutional changes and economic changes that are of course, because it's all a cycle, it's not an accident, that are tied to this focus on the self. So women started to uh really work in mass uh at that time. You know, when I was coming up, when I first had my kids, it it still wasn't, I'm in my early 50s. It still wasn't unheard of to stay home. And I got to I was I was lucky. I was in an economic situation where we didn't, you know, have a lot, but it was worth it. Uh, it was worth it to make that sacrifice to be able to stay home and and be home and enjoy that time with my kids. It was um, these days an incredible gift and very rare. But things really started to change around those early years of Pluto and Capricorn, and it became impractical for one person to be home. And the ideas about commitment and loyalty also started to change.
So it was around 2011 that we started to see the first concentrated waves of twin flames, people coming in and changing through the maturing, going through the individuation process, through the relationship path of mastery. And that is very much tied to Pluto going through Capricorn and then coming up and for 14, the last 14 years going through Pisces. Those two things. It brought in these waves of lessons of maturation and how to maintain a relationship that is not based in traditionally unhealthy, hierarchical power dynamics, but is based on cooperation and choice and real equality. So the dowry system started to go out, and the idea of uh relationships, marriage, really being something that was a transactional and you know, necessary, particularly economically necessary institution. That started to change. And so, you know, some years, you know, go by, and these uh, these uh planets will work on us even if we resist it. We also had Jupiter, we had Saturn all cruising through Capricorn for a period of time. So you had ideological changes, economic and political changes, social changes, technological changes. So everything regarding our idea of normalcy mutated. And there is a push to bring it all back, particularly Saturn's been going through Pisces the last three years, a real push to reclaim the good old days, the uh days of stability and normalcy. And those days are gone.
A big part of the reason that alchemical relationships happen is to cause the divine feminine, and sometimes the divine masculine if he actually finishes the journey. But it's not that common to cause the divine feminine to grow the hell up and to start choosing her own sovereignty, understanding her own worth, being good on her own. But she doesn't have to be on her own if she does not choose to. These are themes of maturity and choice. And so we've had subsequent waves of alchemical couples coming in ever since about 2011. That was that first major opening. And so people ask, well, aren't twin flames rare? Well, yes, they are. Traditionally, the relationship path of mastery is not a common one that the divine creator will employ. But we got Pluto and Capricorn, add some other things going on. So there is a reason why that is a tool that is used to bring us into healing and self-respect and personal mastery and into alignment with our conscience and ultimately the divine creator. It helps us to know ourselves.
So there has been a big push, a really a what what is the word? An aggressive push to getting things back to normal. And we've seen a lot of extremely performative and entertaining alpha males that have risen up in the past what 10 years or so, but really probably the last seven years. It seems like it's been um, what a peak of um, the coaches and psychologists and experts that know things, particularly about how to train men to deal with independent women, women who are choosing themselves, uh, women who are holding out for a standard for a certain level of treatment. And what is the number one thing that that generation and well, all women actually right now, but particularly young younger women, and they have a lot of planets, especially Uranus and Neptune and Capricorn, was the number one thing that they're really asking for? Emotional maturity. That's the thing you have to show up with emotional maturity now. And that is being very much resisted. And having a standard is a good thing. Having social media inspired standards is stupid and embarrassing. And there are some women who are expecting everything for nothing. And frankly, it's giving the rest of the women a bad name.
That would be the version of the performative alpha male. The female coach that goes something like this. Ladies, all you have to do is you just have to show up like this. You keep your head high, and you just show up, and you just look down on all of them. You just look down on all of those men, those worms, and just just put it out there that you're the prize. I'm the prize, I'm the queen. And you just just treat them like and they'll just crawl back to you. Just they just want your validation. That's exactly what the alpha males are saying. It's a new teaching of disrespect. It's a teaching of act like your don't stink and expect that people are going to roll out the red carpet for you. And that will work if you are specifically fishing for people who are unhealed and are insecure and lack self-respect. So it's a very interesting shortcut coaching pervasive teaching to use very immature, embarrassing plutonic shortcuts that in the past were only found in plutonic narcissistic relationships to perfect the use of those to get women back in the kitchen. And on the other hand, to get a man who makes a million dollars to support you and give you everything you want and treat you like a princess, even though you are bringing nothing of worth or importance to the relationship. So we see on both sides, there is an extremely immature, embarrassing attitude about how to get the person that you that we see should fulfill a certain role in our lives. It's not about the person. It's not about falling in love. It's not about appreciation. Is not about. None of these teachings ever ever talk about seeing if you can actually emotionally attune with someone.
See, that's what you want to find out in the dating process. Not how much money do you make, not what is the status that you're going to bring me, not how much am I going to be able to get away with in this relationship. You need to find out, can you actually emotionally attune with someone? And that's going to take emotional vulnerability. That's going to take actually showing someone and admitting what's going on inside of you. You can't do that with a dangerous person. And you can't do that if you are a dangerous person. And people um low vibe people, alpha males and alpha females, they are not safe people. And so we've come into this age of who can get away with what they can get away with. And if you can, you know, use misuse your power and get away with it, that's seen as a virtue because you're smart. And so the isolation and the loneliness issue will continue to increase while Saturn is going through Aries. And we're going to figure out um, you know, how do how can we be together again? You know, the economy is different than it used to be. Expectations about relationships are different than they used to be. And what is important now is going to be emotional presence and emotional attunement. It's not about getting with someone so that you can eat. That was a necessary transaction, and it didn't allow for choice. We couldn't really be honest in those situations because a lot of times it was a have to, or these were practical decisions that we had to make. FG, you are right. A true leader brings safety, brings security, does not misuse their power. Because that requires self-control. That requires emotional intelligence to see that you could get away with something, but you're not going to because you could see that that would not be in the other person's best interest. And you love that person. You want to see that person do well. It's not about power.
So we've been learning um, a lot of people have been learning through this process, this long process of Pluto through Capricorn and h it'll be finishing up that long cycle through Aquarius and Pisces that we've been learning how to participate in an adult interaction and how to fall in love with a person and not a role. Any old person could fill that role. So genuine appreciation for each other, friendship, forgiveness, equality, admiration. These are the things that are present in the relationships in the age of Aquarius. And if you can't bring emotional maturity to the table, you don't get to participate in relationships, modern relationships. And so you will have to go to other cultures, other places where you share the same values. It's just not enough to bring a paycheck and dick anymore. You got to bring more than that. You have to want to be there. You have to bring intelligence. You have to bring attention, emotional maturity. So, it's an interesting time because it's a historical change, and it's going to lead to relationships that are not about need but about love. And it's taking a lot of um suffering for a lot of people to get there, to go through this process because we have to learn through having those old paradigms crash and burn or mutate slowly, fully into something healthier. We have to go through a process of, you know, saying what we thought what we wanted isn't what we really want.
So FG, limerence is a thing in twin flames. Twin flames are totally in limerence. It's not confused. No, they're not confused. They're totally delusional. That's a part of it is working through the limerence, working through the delusion, working through the fixation. Because that is not true love. That is fantasy. That is delusion. And we work through that. And that's why a lot of people on the twinflame journey grow out of that first person that was that mirror that they develop that wild limerence for. They'll grow out of it. And some people will not because there will be a commensurate kind of leveling up. But most people will not complete that journey with that person that they develop that limerence for. They will take that love back for themselves. They will reclaim that love that is going going to an external source. They'll realize that that love is within them. It doesn't depend on that person. It it doesn't they don't have to be there in order to access that love.
So limerence is a part of the twinflame journey, and as we work through it, we come to see the other person as they actually are. And you will have a shattering, disillusioning look. They will do something that will be cause a demarcation point on the journey. And you'll either be like, uh, no thank you, and it neutralizes and it's over, or you're like, wow, no thank you, but um, I uh, I don't really know what to do with that. Um, yeah, think I'll take a step back here. Um, and then in those periods of of spaciousness, you have a chance to grow. Allow the other person to grow. Allow the other person to change. Give the other person time to level up because both of you, if you're on that journey, are working through some immature life patterns. And both of you have things that you have to grow out of, stop doing, let go of, choose differently. But we as we go further and further in this process, we see more and more who that person actually is. And it will take away the limerence because limerence is a lack of information. You cannot be limerent about someone if you're spending everyday mercurial time with them. You can't. If you're picking up after them, if you're using the bathroom after each other, if you're putting up with them, you know, watching loud football while you're trying to, I don't know, paint. You can't exist in that state of seeing that other as you know, the perfect other because their humanity will show up. But that's what we decide. Can I love this? A lot of times we can, but we don't choose to be with it. And other times we decide, yeah, I can love this, and this finally is showing up in a way that is uh worthy of me, and that I feel good about. And um, it's a healthy, respectful union. So that's a big piece of why we've seen so many more of these uh limerent relationships, situationships, twinflame stuff show up here with Pluto and Capricorn. There's method behind the madness. And as we continue to level up and grow and meet each other where we are, not try to reinvent these situations where it's this kind of thing. And then we have to keep our boot on the other person in order to create this situation where we have false security. Okay? You know, we got to let this go because it's silly. And at this point, it's cosplay. This is why we're having like the trad wife movement come in. It's phony. If that's where you're going with this, and the alpha male stuff with with with the muscles and the arms that you can't put down at your sides, and the ridiculous role play, and the eating of the raw meat, and I mean, come on. And it is all coming to a close at this point. We only have a couple of uh months left here until Neptune and Saturn come out of Pisces. Then we're going to look back, and uh, it's going to be hilarious. And what seemed serious at the time. These are going to be some of the things we're pulling up on YouTube for a long time to come because it's comedy. Fashion is funny. It always seems right at the time.
So, that's what I wanted to say because we had Venus and Mars yesterday in Capricorn. It had me really thinking back at this particular trend that the birth rate as well. That's a part of this uh that is a part of the individuation process um for a lot of women, you know, choosing the kind of life that they want. And um, yeah, deciding what is the trajectory of our own goals. And traditionally, when you look at statistics, women who can fend for themselves and that can access education do have less children because they get to choose. Um, so I'm going to go over Reene to the members next after I wrap up here. Um, so I will answer whatever questions are here for members before I go over there. Let's say regime. Let's see. Hold on. Trying to find them. Seeing a lot of members questions. Reene just comments. Oh, Joel, you're right. It is an exact conjunction with the Neptune Uranus conjunction. It didn't even occur to me. You're right. It's right in there. Um, so that extremely idealistic cluster that is particularly socially awkward is definitely going to get this lesson in togetherness and how to do things in a um such an interesting thing, a modern traditional way when it comes to courting. Because that's what we learn on the divine feminine journey is that we come to the table sovereign, independent, and ready to be a partner. Not to rule the roost. Not to wield the rolling pin, but to be a receptive partner and to be in a situation where we can relax. That's where the divine femininity shines. It is the myth that modern women don't want a strong partner who can provide and lead. Yeah, modern women do. But it's when men misunderstand the I the the word submit. To be submissive is to feel safe. To be relaxed is to feel safe. This is the part that the modern alpha male coaches are missing. It's easy to lean back and allow somebody to lead if they're a good leader, if they're competent, if they're safe, if they do provide. Modern women are happy to take some time off and relax. But if you don't have that in your life, you have to fend for yourself. You have to protect yourself. You have to remain vigilant. And that's why women on the the twinflame journey, the divine feminine journey, are learning to be able to take care of themselves, but choose and attract a divine masculine male who is in his competent leadership energy. And then she absolutely would be like, you know what? I don't want to have to work so hard, but if you have to, you have to. And there's a lot of women that enjoy it. We enjoy having our own thing. But if we had our brothers, I don't think that we would go balls to the walls. So there's room for men. There is there's room for mo emotionally mature and capable, intelligent men in modern women's lives. There's a lot of room, and there's a lot of room for them to rise to their masculine leadership potential. But stability and security, emotional maturity has to be a part. That has to be the bulk of it, not force. And so that takes work. It's much easier to just throw your weight around and complain and force. That's easier. But you have to do that forever. You have to keep doing that. You will always have to continue to issue that force. And it will eventually bite you in the butt instead of kiss you on the lips.
So, all right guys, I'm going to wrap up and I'm gonna go on over to my membership group here on YouTube and spend a little time answering questions and just chatting with members. If you want to join the inner circle, grab a membership and meet me over there. And um, I actually have time tomorrow to check in. So, I will likely see you guys tomorrow afternoon. All right.
