How Many XLM is Enough? [Stellar’s Franklin Templeton Update] 🔥

Greetings everyone.

It's a very important time to answer a very important question that I get on a daily basis. It's probably one of the most common questions that I get on my channels, on my Twitter, in my DMs, everywhere.

And that question is: How many XLM is enough to make generational wealth, or actually to create wealth out of XLM? Let's call it life-changing gains. I know it's relative; I know people live in different countries with different realities. But I think this analysis over here is going to clarify a lot of the most common doubts.

So first, let's start with XLM supply. We know that XRP has a 100 billion supply, and actually, XLM has about half of that supply. So that is about 50 billion XLM in circulation. Considering that it's quite similar to XRP, because XRP has the tokens that are in escrow, but coming back to XLM, considering a total supply of 50 billion XLM and at the current price of 12 cents—12 cents, guys—pay attention to this number.

First, I want to let you know that in order to be in the top 10% of XLM wallets, by the most recent statistics, it's unbelievable. It only takes about 5,000 XLM to be in the top 10% of wallets. That shows how early we are in the game.

With the current price, $1,000 is going to get you about 8,000 XLM—actually, 8,500 XLM to be more precise. Now, if you're seeking to be in the top 1% of wallets, that will take more effort. We're talking about half a million XLM. But let's put that in numbers: you would need less than $10,000. Actually, if you buy $7,400 of XLM, that puts you in a very sweet spot.

There are many reasons why Stellar is poised to be at the foundation of the new financial system. So just as I said in my previous video, ask yourself the question: Do you think the real fair value for Stellar's XLM is 12 cents?

Now let's consider that Stellar makes a new all-time high. Let's say Stellar goes to 90 cents. The previous all-time high happened in the previous bull run, and it was about 87 cents. So basically, from current levels to a new all-time high, we're talking about an 8X. We know that's possible, and I do think we're going to go way beyond the all-time high.

So I think it's a great opportunity to stock up on Stellar, and I have been doing that for the past years. Let's put a scenario where XLM goes to $10. Guys, that's not impossible. We had Solana at $200, Ethereum has actually reached $3,000, Bitcoin is at $90,000, and you can't even compare the utility that Stellar has. The technology is far better than all of the coins I mentioned.

So let's have a look over here. Let's say you're going to buy $7,400—that's the magic number that I mentioned before. That takes you 60,000 XLM, and if XLM hits a new all-time high, well, you're going to be sitting at about $50,000. So that can be considered life-changing gains for some people.

However, let's put a more wild scenario. Let's say Stellar hits $10. You know nothing is impossible in crypto. Well, you would have made over $600,000 of profit. So it's definitely possible. That's why I think you should position yourself in the top 10% of wallets if you are capable. Of course, it's even better to be in the top 1% of wallets.

So just answering my final question: I think if you position yourself in the top 10% of wallets, meaning that you're going to have over 5,000 XLM, that already puts you in a sweet spot. You can make profits, but remember, never sell 100% of your bags.

Now, if you really have the capability to put in like $5,000 or $7,000, that's a great achievement. I think there are massive gains to be made with XLM.

Now, before we conclude this video, I want us to watch together a video from Franklin Templeton, one of the largest asset managers in the world. They are responsible for managing over trillions of dollars of assets, and they are tokenizing on Stellar.

This video is very fresh. This video really illustrates what can happen if Franklin Templeton starts to move 100% of its assets onto the Stellar network.

So let's watch this together.

On the traditional way that we record a transaction, it costs us about a dollar to do that. So for us to do 50,000 transactions on a traditional rail, it costs $50,000.

50,000 transactions that we've done on the Stellar network has cost us $120. So there is a huge cost saving. But then that cost saving also leads to efficiencies in the sense that you don't have to do the reconciliation of multiple ledgers. You don't have to remediate issues. Everyone gets the same information synchronously.

Yeah, so it's a real cost that we can identify the actual saving, and then these other benefits. You know, we spend about $200 million a year on remediation and reconciliation. If we can move all the $1.7 trillion of our assets—currently we have about $500 million—if we can move that all onto blockchain, we will save $200 million, excluding the transaction cost, which will be 0.0025 of what they are today.

So thank you, everyone. I'm going to see you in the next video.
