Praise be to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve in their Lord equate others with Him. Praise be to Allah, who sent down upon His servant the Book and did not make for it any crookedness. Praise be to Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him be praise in the Hereafter. Praise be to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, who made the angels messengers, [having wings] two, three, and four. He increases in creation whatever He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. Praise be to Allah, in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and He protects, and none can protect against Him. Praise be to Allah, in whose hand are the keys of the heavens and the earth. He extends provision for whom He wills and restricts it. Praise be to Allah, who gives and withholds. Praise be to Allah, who gives and withholds. O Allah, to You be praise. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them. And to You be praise. You are the Self-Sustaining, the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them. And to You be praise. You are the Truth, and Your promise is truth, and Your meeting is truth, and Paradise is truth, and Hellfire is truth, and the Prophets are truth, and Muhammad, peace be upon him, is truth. O Allah, so forgive us what we have sent forth and what we have delayed, and what we have concealed and what we have declared, and what You know better of than us. You are the Advancer, and You are the Delayer. There is no god but You. Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His servant that he may be a warner to the worlds. Blessed is He who made in the heaven constellations and made in it a lamp and a moon giving light. Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is over all things competent. Blessed is Allah. Holy is [music] Allah, and mighty is [music] Allah, and there is no god but Allah. There is no god but Allah, alone. He fulfilled His promise, and aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. No, no god but You. Glory be to You. Indeed, we were among the wrongdoers. There is no god but Allah, the Most Great. There is no god but Allah, the All-Knowing. There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing. O Allah, to You be praise until You are pleased, and to You be praise when You are pleased, and to You be praise after contentment, and to You be praise in every situation. To You be praise for Your apparent blessings, and to You be praise for Your hidden blessings. To You be praise for what You have bestowed upon us of blessings, and to You be praise for what You have granted us of blessings. To You be praise, we cannot count praises upon You. You are as You have praised Yourself. O Owner of Sovereignty, O Owner of Sovereignty, O Owner of all who possess sovereignty, O Owner of all who possess sovereignty, O refuge of the fugitives, O refuge of [music] the fugitives, and O security of the fearful, and O security of the fearful, and O restorer of the broken, and O restorer of the broken. Your servants are before You. Your servants are before You, hoping for Your mercy and fearing Your punishment. Hoping for Your mercy and fearing Your punishment. So, O Lord, do not return us disappointed, nor driven away from Your door. O Allah, forgive us what we have sent forth and what we have delayed, and what we have concealed and what we have declared, and what You know better of than us. Grant us hearts that are humble, tongues that are remembering, eyes that are tearful, eyes that are tearful. Grant us Your fear in secret and in public. O Allah, whoever among us is worried, then relieve his worry. Whoever among us is worried, then relieve his worry. Whoever among us is distressed, then relieve his distress. Whoever among us is distressed, then relieve his distress. Whoever among us is indebted, then pay his debt. Whoever among us is indebted, then pay his debt. And whoever has a need that only You know, that only You know, then fulfill it for him immediately. O fulfiller of needs, O fulfiller of needs. Deal with us with Your generosity, O Generous One. Deal with us with Your forgiveness, O Forgiving One. O Allah, forgive our parents, and the parents of our parents, and whoever has a right upon us. O Allah, have mercy on our parents. O Allah, have mercy on them as they brought us up when we were young. Have mercy on them as they brought us up when we were young. Reward them with good for good, and with bad deeds, pardon and forgiveness. Whoever is alive, then prolong his life in obedience to You, and whoever is dead, then O Lord, send down upon him the coolness of Your mercy. Then O Lord, send down upon him the coolness of Your mercy. O Allah, send down upon him the coolness of Your mercy. Expand for him in his grave as far as his sight extends. Expand for him in his grave as far as his sight extends. O Allah, O Lord, have mercy on us when we become what they have become. O Allah, grant honor to Islam and the Muslims. Humiliate polytheism and the polytheists. Abandon whoever abandons the religion. O Allah, grant success to our leader in all good and righteousness. Grant success to him and his heir in what You love and are pleased with. Take their forelocks to righteousness and piety. O Lord, grant us success in observing Laylat al-Qadr. O Lord, grant us success in observing Laylat al-Qadr. Make us among those who observe it with faith and seeking reward. Make us among those who observe it with faith and seeking reward. Make us among those who observe it with faith and seeking reward. Grant us acceptance in our deeds. Grant us sincerity in our deeds. Keep away from them ostentation. Keep away from them reputation. Keep away from them self-admiration. O Allah, make it purely for You, free from any blemish. Purely for You, free from any blemish. We raise our hands of supplication to You. We raise our hands of supplication to You. So do not return us disappointed, nor driven away from Your door, nor driven away from Your door. This is our supplication, and from You is the response. This is our effort, and upon You is reliance. And there is no might nor power except with You. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad among the first, and send prayers upon him among the last, and send prayers upon him at every time and moment. And the conclusion of our prayer is: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
