Joy, why is there no food on the table? I walk all day.
Michael, you didn't tell me when you were coming home.
You are such a lazy woman. All the women I dated were industrious, but I ended up with the worst. [snorts]
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are.
So, you're reading Bible instead of taking care of the house.
Michael, I'm trying to find peace. I don't know why you don't appreciate anything I do. What do you want, Joy? I don't want anything from you. [music] You were married to take care of the home and not lazy around. I am irritated. Please. I am the head of this home. Respect me.
Yes, you are the head, but the Bible says the head should laugh like Christ. [music] Michael, you don't talk to me with love.
I try my best as a Christian, but you keep pushing me. You always make it look like I am the problem, but you are the problem.
This is leadership, service, love without pride. [music] Lord, I don't understand.
Then learn from me. [music] Your prayers are hindered because you dishonor your wife.
God, I didn't know. Please forgive me. You gave me the best woman. I am sorry, Lord. Why is everything going wrong? Why is nothing working? What is the problem? But what is happening to me? I need to go and apologize to my wife. Joy, I've been wrong. I've been proud. Please forgive me.
Michael, I've been praying that God should touch your heart and make you a better husband. [music]
I have failed God and I know he will help me to love you the way Christ commanded us to love a wife.
Michael, [music] I love you so much.
Father, heal our home and help us grow together as one. Father, teach us to love and respect each other without pride.
