I challenge you to commit to YouTube for the next 90 days, because most people give up way too soon. And I know that if you just stay consistent, you'll start seeing real growth, views, and even income.
In this video, I'm going to break down why this challenge works and exactly what to focus on, step by step, to set yourself up for success. Just a quick heads up, this video is sponsored by Gy Pro, but more on them later.
So, in order to set you up for success over these next 90 days for this challenge, I think the first thing we need to talk about is mindset. Because all too often, I will see new YouTubers thinking that they're going to hit it big from video 1, 5, 10, or even 50. Or I'll see the complete opposite, where people are just like, "well, YouTube takes a really long time." And, you know, they'll have been in it 1, 2, 3 years, and they're still at 300 subscribers. And I'm here to tell you that both of those mindset scenarios are not good mindset scenarios.
Now, yes, it's true growing anything is going to take time, but I think we hear from people too often, like, "YouTube takes a long time," right? And the truth is, is that it doesn't take that long. If you have the right strategy, it doesn't need to take that long because YouTube does not pull channels for viewers to watch. It pulls videos. So, even if I was to take one of my well-performing topics and start a new channel or put it on another channel, that video would be highly likely to still do really, really well because it's about the actual video, the thumbnail, the title, all of that, and it's not necessarily about the channel. I think a lot of people think that, "oh well, once YouTube sees I have this many subscribers, then they'll push me out." And that's just not how it works. It works on a video-to-video basis. I mean, still to this day, I can have one video get 50,000 views and the next video get 3,000 views. So, it definitely works on a per-video basis.
Now, this is good news for you because it means that it doesn't matter if you're a new creator or an established creator. What matters is how good the video is. And that's the part that I think is the most important to get into your head for your mindset, is that it does depend on every single video. Meaning, if you put out a video, it will do well if you've nailed things like the title, the thumbnail, the intro, the AVD, the average view duration. And so, it's not personal. It's just based on data. So, if you put out a video that doesn't do well, look at the data. Where did you go wrong? Was the click-through rate too low, meaning the thumbnail and title were not good enough? Was the AVD too low, meaning the average view duration was too low? Because when you nail the click-through rate and the average view duration, that is when YouTube will really start to pull your video for viewers and help your video get a lot of views.
So, on one hand, it should not take you years and years and years to get to 1,000 subscribers. And on the other hand, you're probably not going to have a viral video from video one. What you should be focusing on is making good videos. Focusing on the title, the thumbnail, the average view duration, and this is the most important part: getting better with every single video, being consistent. Whether that's posting once a week or twice a week like I do, stick to a consistent schedule and get better with every single video. Maybe it's making your intros better or your thumbnails better with every video, or your titles better with every single video, or how you're actually talking and presenting to camera, or your lighting, or all these different things, right? But it really boils down to click-through rate and average view duration.
Being consistent on YouTube is important, but if you want to fast-track your channel's growth, live streaming on YouTube will help you get more views, better watch time, and more AdSense revenue without creating more content. And here's the game changer: You don't actually have to go live in real time. With a platform like Gy Pro, you can stream pre-recorded videos as if they're live, and YouTube loves it. We're talking big channels like National Geographic, Yeast, and even HGTV are already using 24/7 pre-recorded live streams to boost their reach. And for best results, and it's highly recommended to, you can launch multiple streams at once. And the setup is super easy. Just upload your video to Gryer, optimize with their built-in converter, and schedule or launch right away. Live streams get algorithm priority because they're available in real time. And they perform better across key metrics like AVD, average view duration, AdSense earnings, and new traffic. And it works for all niches, including kids content, entertainment, education, music, religion, business, e-commerce, DIY, and more.
Gyar Pro is also a trusted YouTube partner. You can even find them in the official YouTube partner catalog. And because they're sponsoring this video, you can get a 7-day free trial and 15% off with promo code Molly Kaiser. That's M O L L Y K E Y S E R when you use the link in the description below this video to sign up. So go ahead, click the link in the description below this video to start your free trial now.
And I way too often see creators being like, "well, YouTube just takes a long time," or "YouTube doesn't work," and I go and look at their channel and it's like, to be honest with you, like your thumbnails suck, your titles are not very good. I can tell your video does not have a good average view duration. So it's not about waiting when it comes to that. It's about getting better with every single video because the truth is that your success is not in YouTube's hands. Your success with your channel is in your hands. Okay? And nobody is going to grow your channel for you. No one is going to make you a success. You have to take responsibility and ownership over your success and say, "I am going to be consistent. I am going to post consistently over these next 90 days. I'm going to take responsibility and I'm going to do better with every single video."
Whether that is getting better with Canva to create your thumbnails, whether that is doing more research to see what thumbnails are actually performing well within your niche, or whether that is hiring an actual professional thumbnail designer, or doing those things when it comes to titles, focusing on your average view duration, researching videos in your niche to see which hooks and intros are doing well and what videos are performing well in your niche and what they're doing to get those videos to perform. Because again, it is your responsibility and yours alone. And simply waiting for a miracle or for YouTube to just decide, "oh, what a great channel," you know, that is not reality. The reality is that you're in control. You and only you are in control of growing your channel. And you can absolutely do it. Just take responsibility and get better with every single video.
Now, if you want one of my favorite tools that has helped me grow my channel from 10,000 to over 60,000 subscribers in the last year, I want to gift that to you for free. This is my YouTube script template. This is the exact script template that I use in all of my YouTube videos, and you can get it completely for free by going in the link in the description below this video.
Okay, so now that I just shared all of that, why should you commit to this 90-day challenge? Why not just try to get better with every single video like I just shared? Well, I think giving yourself challenges, whether it's this one or other challenges or making up challenges for yourself in the future, is really, really important to kind of codifying your success because yes, it is about creating better videos, click-through rates, AVD, right? But it's also about staying inspired and motivated. And so, for you to say, "Hey, I'm going to do this 90-day challenge. I'm going to stick to it and I'm going to keep going after the 90-day challenge," I think that that is key. But the cool thing about the 90-day challenge is this is going to help you create discipline. This is going to help you get into a consistent rhythm of posting, which is absolutely key. And if you want more motivation and more inspiration, if you want to be surrounded by other YouTubers who are growing on YouTube, creating and selling their own digital products, making money on their channels as soon as day one, then I want to invite you to check out my membership. It's called Freedom Creator Club. It starts at just $59 a month. You can check it out in the description below this video and the pinned comment below this video as well.
Okay, so here's what I want you to do over the next 90 days. I want you to pick your niche. I want you to commit to your posting schedule. So, are you going to post once a week? Are you going to post twice a week? Are you going to post bi-weekly? And what I would recommend is post as much as you can without getting burnt out. So, if you have a full-time job and you can only post once a week or bi-weekly, then do that. For me personally, this is my full-time job. So, I post twice a week. And if I could do more, I would. But emotionally, I don't want to post more than twice a week because it is a lot of videos to make, eight videos per month. You never know, though. I might up it in the future. But really, my advice is to do as many videos as you can that you can stick to consistently without getting burnt out. Because, for example, when I went from posting one video a week to two videos a week, that meant that I was learning twice as fast in half the amount of time because I was posting more videos and I was getting better with every single video and I was looking at the data and the analytics from each video. So, I was able to really learn YouTube and grow a lot faster in my opinion. So, I want you to stay consistent. I want you to pick your niche. I also want you to commit to getting better one thing at a time with every single video. So maybe it's a little bit more research or a better title or a better thumbnail or hiring a thumbnail designer or little things like that. Like make a list of all the things you could do to make your channel better. Maybe it's filming B-roll, getting better lighting, better camera, better microphone, whatever it is. Make a list and get better and better with every single video. Just one thing at a time. Try not to overwhelm yourself. And remember, one of the biggest parts to committing to this challenge is discipline and committing to consistency, which is going to create a routine for yourself to actually stick with your channel well beyond these 90 days.
All right. And here's the most important thing that I want you to hear. If you have not started your channel yet, I want you to look yourself in the mirror and get real with yourself. How long have you been saying you're going to start a channel? How long have you been saying you're going to film a video? Well, "when I get a better camera," "when I get a better mic," "when I get better light." No, you don't need any of those things. Pick up your dang cell phone. I know you all have one. And set it in front of you and record a video. Just make sure to turn it horizontally. You don't need a great camera. You don't need a great mic, which, by the way, an iPhone or whatever is a great camera. But anyways, just film a video. And you can start getting better with each video. But if you never start, then you cannot continue to get better with each video. I see the biggest thing that holds people back from success on YouTube is posting their first freaking video ever. If you've posted a video already on YouTube, please leave some encouragement in the comments for other new YouTubers. And if you are committed to this 90-day challenge, I also want you to comment "I'm in" in the comments below. I want you to encourage others in the comments below. Comment "I'm in." You can also share what your channel or niche is about. Just don't share any links to your channel because YouTube will flag those and that's not good.
So, it really comes down to this. If you want to have success on YouTube, it is in your hands. Start with committing to this 90-day challenge. Start building consistency. Start building habits. Start saying that you are a YouTuber. You're not just going to try this for 30 days, try this for 60 days, try this for 90 days. No, you're going to commit to this challenge and you're going to keep going after the challenge and you're going to keep posting even after the challenge. The challenge is about you building habits, building momentum, saying you're going to do something and doing it, because that is how you build confidence. And if you want all of my click-by-click trainings, like how to do good titles, how to do good thumbnails, how to record good videos, the gear that I use, to be among over 500 other YouTubers growing their channels at the same time, then I would love to invite you to join us in my affordable membership, Freedom Creator Club. It starts at just $59 a month or it's $29 a month if you pay yearly. Go ahead, check it out. It is in the link in the description below this video.
And remember, I hear from people every single day saying, "I want to start a YouTube channel. I want to start a YouTube channel. I want to start a YouTube channel." And I'll see them 3 months, 6 months, a year, and I'll be like, "How's it—how's your YouTube channel going?" "Well, you know, I'm still thinking about my niche. I haven't picked my camera yet." Do you think all the successful YouTubers out there that you see were making excuses, were putting it off for months and months and months? No. They picked up their cell phone, when they picked up their camera, recorded a dang video, and they got better with every single video. And you can do that, too. So, comment "I'm in" below to commit to this challenge, to pick up your dang camera, to record a video every single week or more, because you absolutely can do this. Other people have done it. Other people have gone before you. You can do it, too. But the truth is that if you never record a video, if you never decide to get better with each video, if you don't commit to things like challenges and consistent posting, then you are just guaranteeing that you're not going to have success. So, don't do that.
It really can be as simple as pick up a camera, record your first video. Try to do progress over perfection. Your first 100 videos are going to probably suck anyways. That's a quote from Mr. Beast that I 100% agree with. And so, just try to get those done. Don't try to make your first video perfect. You don't need a perfect camera, perfect mic, perfect lighting, perfect everything. Just post some videos and get better and better with every single video.
Little by little, now that you are committed to my 90-day challenge for you to grow your YouTube channel, you might be wanting to learn how you can make money on YouTube from day one. But how do you do that? Well, it all starts with watching this video next, here. Because when you combine what you just learned with what's in this video, it's going to be way more powerful. See you in the next video.
