You've been watching my channel over the past year, you may have seen my videos that I did on J Cloud water with scent diffusers. They were the first smart home scenting products that I featured on the channel, and they've been hugely popular both with the people that view the channel and myself as well. I love these things. I've got them in multiple areas of my home, and they really do make a difference in what people think when they come in, how the house smells, and just that sense of freshness that you get.
J Cloud has sent me another of their diffusers, a different version this time, with much of the same basic functionality but a unique design aspect. You can see we've got these aluminum sides, brushed aluminum kind of glass-looking face plates, the display on the front, and a top scent port that kind of is just a combination of multiple different design aspects of their different diffusers. Today, in this video, I'm going to walk you through the functionality of this, talk about what comes in the packaging, give you a demo, and share my thoughts on whether or not I think this is worth picking up. Let's dive into it.

Now, I'll overlay some unboxing footage on top of this video, but I'll also just open this up and talk to you about what comes in the packaging. You're going to get the diffuser itself, of course, and a user manual with a link to the wireless app that you can use. This is a smart diffuser, so if you don't want to program it on the display, you could do it on your phone as well. And then you get quite a few accessories. You're going to get your uh DC wall work plug here to provide power to the unit. You're going to get multiple bottle caps and spouts depending on if you want to use this with an HVAC or just in the room. You're also going to get an L bracket to mount this to your wall and a piece of tubing for the aforementioned uh AC hookup. Now, also in the box, actually, we may be at the end. We talked about the diffuser itself and a ton of foam to protect this in shipping, but other than that, that's what you're going to get.
Now let's talk about the design of the unit itself. Like I said, that's kind of the standout feature on this one. The brushed metal face plates on the sides, the top going all the way around, looks really great. This, I'm not sure if it's actually plastic or just or actually glass or just a plastic, but it looks like glass, reflective, very, very nice. A fingerprint magnet, I say as I rub my hands all over it. You've got the J Cloud logo right here. You've got four touch buttons, you've got a display, power indicator, all that jazz. On the top, you've got the uh spout where the fluid is going to come out, an easy removable bottle right here, and then your power input on the side with some foam padding on the bottom to dampen sound and to stabilize it on your surface.
One thing that I forgot to mention, the accessories pack is going to be a key. All of these do feature keys so that no one can get into them. You can keep kids out of the aroma oils, but it's a longer one. You're just going to insert it on the side right here, and then it shows you the direction that you need to turn. If I can get it, let's see, right there, to unlock the bottle. Then you can pull that out. You can see I've got my aroma oil in there. J Cloud has some awesome scents that you can pick up, and you just twist that off the top like this when you're wanting to fill it. Now, this is the, I think, what four ounces of fluid, which is kind of the standard refill size you see online. Make sure when you stick it back in that you line the spout up with the, let's see, I gotta look for it, right there on the front, line that up, just like that, slot it in, turn your key, uh, and pull it out, and now we're locked in.
So, uh, that four ounces of fluid should last you between one and two months. I like to do it a little bit less intense and just depending on your room size, and so I can get two months out of a fluid refill easy, which is good because they can be a little expensive. But when you compare them to the cost of candles or to wax melts or whatever it is, it's still a pretty dang good deal.
Now, of course, you can program this on the device itself with a little touchscreen, but honestly, it's kind of a pain. It takes a long time, lots of clicking and tapping. It's way easier on your smartphone. So I'm going to zoom the camera into my phone screen, walk you through how to program this on the smartphone app.
All right, so if you're going to use this with the smartphone app, what you're going to want is the Scent Marketing app. If I open that sucker up, this is what you're going to see. We'll click Bluetooth version right here. You can see that I've got my named home diffuser. Clicking that, there's a password that you could enter. There's a default one, and then you can change it if you'd like. You can see right here, we've got the name, the label for the device, and then different programs that you create. Now, I've got this one right here, which is just the main program that I use. It runs from 8 AM to 8 PM, and it's 25 seconds of running, 60 seconds of waiting. You can just make an automatically graded one right here, one through, I think, nine, or you can make a custom one with exact seconds that you want it to run. You can also choose which days you want the scent to be on or off. Very, very easy. And then you just hit save up in the top right corner to save. If we go over to about, that'll show you your firmware version, if you want to change the password, all that good stuff. But really, that's all there is to the app. It's very, very easy and simple to use.
So there you have it. That is the J Cloud waterless scent diffuser, one of the many models they offer, and a particularly good-looking one. Very, very quiet in operation, sleek design. Uh, you know, if we could just make this look a little bit smaller, I'd be fine with that. But all in all, just a really great model from J Cloud.
