When the movie ends, each Spider-Man gets a unique credit shot, and it secretly tells us where their stories are headed.
First, Tom Holland's Spider-Man. No mask, just his face, because his real story is finally beginning. All that kid stuff, that's over. Now, life's about to hit him hard.
Then comes Andrew Garfield. He's wearing a mask, but it's only half printed, meaning his story isn't over yet. There's still something unfinished about him. Something darker we might see soon.
And finally, Tobey Maguire. His mask almost fully printed, like the final page of a chapter that's about to close for good.
