Hello America, it's me. Who would have thought it? Hey, um I got a little rumbly in my tumbly that maybe like some bad things might coming might be coming our way economic. Now I want you to know I'm reading this new book called 1929. It's all about the crash and um and what happened in the year building up to the crash. And so I might be a little too deep into that because I keep reading it going that's happening right now. That's happening and that's happening and that's happening. Uh so I don't know. I mean but history teaches us that uh you know history rhymes. Doesn't repeat itself exactly but it rhymes.
The end of the year economic data is beginning to come out and to say that it not the best might be an understatement. There's some warning signs for 2026 and beyond. And uh I want to share three potential outcomes. Okay, good news or bad news first, right? Let's just rip the band-aid off because I got the bad news. I mean, you know what the bad news is?
Outcome number one, K-shaped economy. You know what the K-shaped economy is? Think of a K. All right, this is going up. People that have all this money, that's going up. But then, while that's going up, uh, the middle class and everybody gets going down. Okay, the rich get richer while the lower classes fall deeper behind on debt. They lose jobs. They're priced out of basic goods and services. And in the case of young people now just hitting the workforce, they fail to achieve the American dream and own any kind of property. This begins uh to cause a massive societal change. And we're seeing it right now. And I'll get into that in America in just a minute. Uh uh Americans and mass could turn to socialism and central planning because wouldn't that be good? And that's when the American experiment goes away.
Now bad. Here's outcome number two. Basically everything I just said, but a few more details. Jobs. Much of this due to automation and AI continue to decline. And we're already seeing this. This freaks the Fed out and they go on an interest cutting spree. I don't see this one really happening, but God only knows. You know, it it would it would be good if we hadn't have done it before. You know, um they don't really have they're out of bullets. Nothing is really going to work cuz you know as companies and banks begin to fold the Fed would initiate multiple bailout programs money printing exceeds the COVID era and the you know hey the top corporations and the banks and the S&P 500 and the Dow record earnings k-shape stock market meltup territory it's so great you got to buy by by now 1929 and inflation will climb at a higher rate bad for everybody else meanwhile a mass dumping of US treasury treasuries would happen all around the world. Uh and that would signal, yeah, the Americans are done. Okay. All right.
Bad news is over. You want the good news? Yeah. So do I. I don't have any good No, I do have good news. Outcome number three. What we're seeing right now is just temporary pain. The Trump administration has been preparing for this. I just got off the phone with the president yesterday and we spoke about this on the phone. And I'm like, you do know what's going. He's like, "Yes, I I know what's going on." I'm like, "But I mean like really going on cuz like socialism and the and the people are like really struggling." He's like, "I I got it. I got it. I got it." He knows we're on the brink of major societal change. Some called it the great reset. But a new economic global system is now being built by him. And all of the levers are being pulled to ensure we remain resilient for the change that is coming. And change is coming one way or another. And we're at the threshold of another industrial revolution. This shouldn't shock you. This is stuff we've been talking about for a very, very long time. Remember the episode I did where I said it's the fourth industrial revolution where you know all the change that happened from you know fire until today are going to happen in the next four or five years. Yeah. So profound change is coming. How we navigate this new world depends on the moves that we're making right now. And I'll show you later in the show that there are signs that we are on track to possibly experience this outcome and end up leading the world. But it's going to be close. I want to talk to you about these things and give you more insight in all of this because we have to prepare for all possibilities. And we begin with outcomes number one and two because we're seeing signs that society is shifting towards massive societal change.
I have a friend in uh today, Justin Haskins. He's going to join us in a minute. He's just done a new study on the American people, specifically 18 to 34 year olds. It's not going to improve your mood much, but there is an explanation for it. I don't know if you saw the Washington Post editorial over the weekend on New York City's new socialist mayor, Zoran. Zoran Mandami, here to save the day. It said, "Zoran Mandami drops the mask." The mayor elects New Yorkers into two groups, the oppressed and the oppressors. Oh, so in other words, Marxism 101. The post goes on to describe the new era of class warfare that has begun in the financial epicenter of the entire world. Mdani's maskdropping victory speech uh he said some really revealing things. Uh he stated and I quote, "We will prove there is no problem too large for government to solve and no concern too small for it to care about." Oh, that's socialism. I mean, you know, all of it. Everything from culture to housing to rent to groceries, what you do, where you go, business, all centrally planned. How did this happen? Wars have been fought to end the scourge of this flawed ideology. An ideology that's been responsible for mass starvation, death, and murder all throughout history. Well, the Washington Post highlighted exit polling that showed who actually voted for Mam Donnie. And it, surprise, surprise, wasn't the New Yorkers that were born in New York City. His base are newcomers to the city and most of them have very advanced degrees. So, they're much much smarter than you, Lovey. Now, listen to this quote from the Post because it's amazing. Quote, "Apparently, living in New York for decades and witnessing uh what does and doesn't work when it comes to running a city offers more wisdom than grad school." Oh, the youth and recent college educated are now turning to socialism. Great. Listen to this from Mom Donniey's Victory Party. Listen.
>> Now, socialist is not a dirty word anymore. Socialist is not a dirty word anymore.
>> Well, that's why they jump to communist, right? Communist. Socialist. Yeah. They immediately jump to communist. Socialist not a dirty word anymore. Democrats, listen up. Take some lessons.
>> Socialism is no longer a dirty word. And Democrats, you better take some lessons. And I love how they immediately jump to communism. That remark. Can you believe they say that we're communists? Yeah. I wonder why. It's not as if Karl Marx stated that socialism is the part of the cycle where communism fully becomes possible. It's not like Mark said socialism means full state control and then communism happens when the state fades away due to full utopian bliss. So basically all the countries throughout the history that declared communism was their government. But what they really had was hyper socialism. And then they realized, oh, we were too drunk on totalitarian power. We want to remain a socialism, totalitarian bliss. You know, a great state like that. It's almost like that has never happened before. And what has historically happened after this? Well, famine, political persecution, mass starvation, death, murder, uh, and the full-on collapse of the entire system. Now, it's not like many of these communist governments have ever used the word socialism in their name. I mean, it's communist, right? It's not like communist countries ever existed and said, "We're socialist." You know, like who's ever heard of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics or the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia or the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic or the Socialist Republic of Romania. I mean, these communist countries, they didn't exist with that. Oh, they did. Wow, that's weird. They were all socialist. Huh.
Now, I want to go back to this demographic that voted for Mam Dani, the youth and highly educated because there is societal change happening. They're moving towards socialism. And the Trump administration is and surely should be concerned. Just over the weekend, the president addressed multiple issues aimed directly at this societal shift. And it was a flurry of announcements that included school loan repayment changes. I don't like it. Potential 50-year mortgage plan to help people achieve the American dream or ownership. Don't like it. And $2,000 stimulus checks paid through tariff rebates. Don't like it. School loans, debt, all of this worrying data on home ownership, prices of goods refusing to go down. All of these things, these are the things that average people are talking about. You might be talking about them in your house, but certainly those under 40 are talking about these. These are the things the government is clearly worried about. And they are also the things that have driven many Americans to now view socialism as a viable option because nobody ever defines it. Oh, it's like Sweden. We're way past Sweden now. You might have even seen this email from Peter Teal to people like Mark Zuckerberg back in 2020. And it sums up the massive societal change and the bend towards socialism that we're beginning to see now. Teal comments that 70% of millennials say they are pro-socialist and that we can't just merely dismiss them as stupid, but instead try and understand why. Teal mentions a broken generational compact. Quote, "When one has too much student debt or if housing is too unaffordable, then one will have a negative uh capital for a long time andor find it very hard to start accumulating capital in the form of real estate. And if no one has a stake in the capitalist system, then you might as well turn against it." Okay, all of that is logical. If we're to avoid this massive societal shift, we have to fix this. But how? When socialism becomes more widespread, it will be marketed like a workers movement to ease all of the pain. Free everything. And it's going to be sold as free and fair and fairness. I mean, what what I mean, what do we have to fix? You're watching the show right now. You probably know exactly what the issues are. You're probably in one form or another feeling this pain. What would you do? What should the president do? Because only a long-term fix. But do we have the patience for long-term fixes? When we come back, I'm going to show you the data and it's not so great. But I'll also show you what I think we're driving towards next. So many people living with everyday pain, they just think they're stuck with it. You know, that's what it is. And life is unfair. And that's why I should take your painless life and kill you and take your painless life so I can have it. Oh, I'm sorry. We're not for that any of that redistribution of anything. Um, it doesn't need to be your life. Let me tell you about Jeanie from Texas and her relief factor story. Jeanie was out for a walk when she was unfortunately hit by a car. Nothing she tried for her lower back worked. Her husband heard about Relief Factor and so Jenny said, "Sure, it's worth a try." Well, Relief Factor worked worked beautifully for her. Her pain decreased her range of motion increased. And she says to say, "I'm grateful is an understatement." In January I'm starting something new, a new part of my career and I'm calling it the torch and it's based in education and we're going to be getting into socialism. And we're going to get into, you know, the Marx brothers, except this time it's, you know, Karl Marx, and then all of his his acolytes, uh, Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, and I'm going to try to teach exactly what this is in a way that, you know, if you're a student, you've never seen any of this before. You don't know what it is. And before I get into the current economic data, the reality, the realities turning young people to socialism are so raw and real. But I first want to give you the reason why we got here in the first place. We're not a capitalist society. We're not a free market society. We haven't been for a very long time. Progressivism has been eating at it for over a hundred years, and there's almost none of it left now. And no matter how successful capitalism has been, not only for this country but the entire world, no matter how many millions it has brought people up and out of poverty, how many millions it has led to the greatest living standards in the history of the world. This is what happens. The central planners, they enter the game. This usually happens after capitalism wins. And the central planners are there and they're like, we can be we can fix this even make it even better. And then they're defeated. And then decades of prosperity ensues. But like cockroach cockroaches, they come crawling back from underneath the fridge. Little by little, the central planners begin perverting the system. Sometimes it's through the Fed. Sometimes it's through government policy. But the profitable system, little bits at a time, changes. Look at how healthcare has changed. Has it gotten better? Do you remember when Obamacare we were arguing about? I'm like, it's not going to work. It's going to make things worse. You're Oh, no. Obamacare, you're going to save you're going to save $2,000 average. Did you save the $2,000? Have you saved $2,000 even over the last 15 years? No. It's gotten worse. And so what are they doing? We got to make it bigger. We got to put more money into it. No, you should go the opposite direction. But if you shove enough central planning into capitalism, people eventually get pissed off at capitalism because they're like, "That doesn't work. That's capitalism." You and I are like, "That's not capitalism." But they begin to blame it for all their part problems and that's what central planners want. So then they turn towards central planning and socialism. The guys are like, "We haven't tried this yet." Yes, we have. This is the decades long wild ride we've been on. Let me show you a graphic here. This shows the money supply from 1960 to today. The gray parts are showing recessions or economic crisis. Every time we hit a trouble spot, the play from the Federal Reserve and the government has been to print or bail our way out of trouble. Right. The worst jumps were after the 2008 financial crisis and then the insane jump during COVID. WA. We're a debt-driven economy. And with every jump and printing extravaganza, we push prices, affordability, and debt and default closer over the cliff. And even worse news, this policy has not stopped. Over the past year, the past year, the money supply is still on a steep climb upwards. Why? Cuz we're not stopping spending. Inflation just keeps rising. And the Fed continues to print and bail out. Over the past 5 years, the Fed has initiated 13 bailout programs. Did you know that? Actually, it's it's wor it's worse. This is only the public information. God only knows what they've been doing behind closed doors because you can't audit their books because they're the five biggest banks and you wouldn't want to know what the five biggest banks are doing. This is the real problem and no one wants to admit it. Nobody can. I don't know why, but they won't. I guess maybe because that would mean we have to make cuts. That would be politically inconvenient. We'd have to start going, "Wait a minute. What is happening with our money? What are what are you banks doing exactly?" Promises have been made to constituents. Constituents have become enslaved to federal programs. And until we address all of this, from what are you doing at the Federal Reserve to no, you can work, nothing's going to change. My favorite line, nothing nothing changes. If nothing changes, we keep voting for change, right? But nothing really changes, so nothing will change.
The economic data we're currently seeing now the government has been closed for the last two months so we're not really seeing the numbers but some of them are leaking out and it's not good and those realities are what turn are turning young people into red flag-waving socialists and it will continue. These are the current realities. Let me give you this. The median age for first-time home buyers has sp has rocketed now uh to 40 years old. Okay. The median age in 1981 was 29. You're 40 before you can buy your own uh home. Youth are effectively blocked from the home ownership and the American dream as home high home prices and interest rates for mortgages have created the worst buying conditions on record. A 50-year mortgage. It's not going to solve this crisis. I mean, to reduce your your mortgage by $2,000, but you're going to end up paying twice as much for the house. Are we going to tell young people that the massive debt they already have can get extended 50 years so they can buy a home that they really can't afford anyway? And speaking of debt, let me show you this. Americans now have a record $18.6 trillion in household debt. A record 13.1 trillion in mortgages, a record $1.7 trillion in auto loans, a record $1.7 trillion in student loans, and a record $1.2 trillion in credit card debt. You know, we are number one. It's good that these are all records, right? That's a lot of cabbage. It's a lot of cabbage. Uh I don't know how we pay all that off. Now the realities for people trying to pay off that debt, student loans, serious delinquencies. They have surged to 14.3 in the third quarter. What? Auto loan del uh delinquencies rose to their highest level since 2010. Credit card delinquencies has risen to 7.1 which is on track to reach their highest level in 14 years. And jobs. Well, jobs in October, the layoffs were the highest in 22 years. Total job cuts for 2025 have now passed 1 million. That has only happened four times in the past three decades. 2001, the dotcom crash, 2008 and 2009, the financial crisis, and COVID. Many of those job cuts are all due to government scaling down, which is good. But the organization that compiled this data also blamed the beginning implic um implementation of artificial intelligence. And we're only in the opening salvo of AI adoption. I have been warning and saying we've got to talk about this. We've got to talk about it before it's here. Well, it's it's here now. So, we really have to talk about it because it's going to get a lot worse. The last time this many jobs were cut in October was uh 2003. The losses then came from the telecommunications industry as another society altering technology began to decimate its legacy uh competitor. That technology was the cell phone. Now consider what AI is going to do when we all adopt AI. And on top of all of this, inflation and prices continue to rise. Now, the only good news on this front has been overall food prices, which have been brought down to 3.1%. With the exception of meat, which is insane, but pretty much everything else is up. Prices at Target and Walmart are both up 5.5 and 5.3%. Um, Walmart prices are up more than 12%. This is a bad one. This is going to get really bad. Electricity is at 5.1%. If all of this continues at this rate, what happened with Mam Donnie in New York will spread. You'll see an AOC for president. People will be in pain. And if there's no one on our side actually offering a fresh idea, they're going to run to the marketing campaign of socialism is neat.
But earlier, I mentioned option three. When I interviewed President Trump at the White House a few months ago, I asked him very specifically what he was trying to do. Was he trying to reshape the global system that was built after World War II? Watch what he said.
>> This is pure conjecture here, but um in trying to understand you and the moves that you made when you called uh the tariff day liberation day, that hearkened to me back to the end of the war, World War II. And I'm wondering because of all of the moves you've made, NATO, you know, the endless wars, everything else that goes along with this, >> are you signaling to the world that this is not just tariffs? This is an end to the order that we built after World War II. Because it might have been good after World War II for everybody, but we're not the suckers anymore. It's it's that's long passing. It's time to transform.
>> You've said it so well because people don't talk about it that even I don't mention it enough.
The president was trying to reshape a global financial system to modernize it into something that is resilient and strong and attempting all of this in just four years. He told me before uh he was elected, Glenn, I need 12. And I'm like, what? What is and he's like not me but we have to be we have to be in control of this and we have to have somebody who will have eight years after me that will continue and finish this. He's like this wasn't built overnight and I'm going to move at record speed but this is ambitious absolutely ambitious and painful at the beginning. We're seeing that at play right now. Will it work? I think it will. I pray to God it does. But if it does, then we'll be the country that successfully navigates all of the technological changes that are about to happen. And the rest of the world hasn't even really begun to look at all of this yet. The president is attempting to grow the US economy out of our problems. But it's not working because it's not 2016 anymore. We've done even so much more damage because of COVID. We're out of bullets. The president can't just deregulate and make things move as quickly as he did in 2016. And everything he does, cutting the cutting the size of government, I'm all for it, but it's extraordinarily risky. And we still have to eventually solve the problem that I open the segment with. We're still spending too much money. The Fed manipulates, prints, and bails out trillions every time we get into trouble. It's not working anymore. The K-shaped economy worsens. But how are we fairing versus the rest of the world? The president, when I spoke to him yesterday, he's like, Glenn, do you know what we're doing? Do you know we are actually by the end of the year we'll have $20 trillion in investment coming in since the trade deals and the economic moves from the Trump administration just this year the United States is projected to be the largest growing advanced economy in 2026 we are expected to be growing at a rate of 2.1%. Okay, that's not thrilling. It'd be great if it was three, four or five, but Europe and everybody else, they are spiraling down the path of central planning and it does not look good. The juggernaut of Germany, Germany is over .9%. The growth in the economy for France .9, Italy .8, Spain is the closest to us at 2%. Japan is 6%, the UK 1.3, Canada 1.5. We are really doing well, but everybody's feeling the pain in their own home. And while we're all growing, developing economies that usually have high growth rates like China and India, those two are actually retracting. There are preliminary signs that this could be working. But can this society hold out long enough to actually see it through? Will we ever fix the larger problem of Fed manipulation and spending? Or will that massive societal change occur before we can navigate out of this crisis? Coming up, I'm going to spend a few minutes um going through an exclusive look at new polling that shows some shocking results from young people all across the country. Buck buck buckle up. It's going to be a bump bump bumpy ride next.
Freedom has never been free. And lately, we've been reminded of just how high the cost can be. This is not going to be easy to transition. Um, and if it is successful, it could take years to finally materialize. The cultural and political chaos usually follows in the wake of economics and especially bad downturns. What happened with mom Donnie in New York is not a quirk. We are in real danger here from the youth turning towards socialism on a larger scale. Joining me now is Justin Haskins. He is the vice president of the Hartland Institute, senior fellow at our republic. He's also my co-author of Dark Future and the author of a forthcoming book called The Next Big Crash. Justin, let me start let me start with your book, The Next Big Crash. Um, because I'm feeling this is not good. I was doing a lot of research last night on just the server farms that are being built and finished. Um, and no leases yet. Um Nvidia tanking uh and losing lots of funding funding. The uh server farms that do have people, you know, in Mexico, in Ireland, they're filling them up, but then the electricity is not it's not capable of holding all of it. So now it's, you know, rolling brown outs and blackouts in places all over the country, all over the world. This is this is really a tough transition. And if any of it goes wrong, um, a next big crash happens. What did you see that made you want to write this?
>> Yeah, there there are a million factors, uh, and a million signs that we're heading toward another economic catastrophe. Almost any metric that you look at when you compare it to what's been happening in previous decades, we should have already had the crash by now. My my favorite one is the housing market. Uh whenever you see the ratio of income to the average price of a house reach the level that it's reaching right now which is seven. So what that means is 7 years of your annual median income is matching the price of a home the average price of a home. We have a giant crash. Uh that's not normal. That's not supposed to happen. Everything is inflated. The stock market is inflated. It's not based on on what these companies are actually producing. So there's a million metrics that I think are pointing in the direction of the next big crash. The book, The Next Big Crash, is not just about that. It's about the effects of that crash. These laws have been written over many decades that have positioned, most people have no idea that this is going on, have positioned large institutions, banks and Wall Street firms, to take people's property potentially, depending on what happens when the next big crash occurs because >> you don't own your own investments, your own security investments. So people think they own their stocks and their bonds and their others their other security investments, your retirement account, but you actually do not own those things. Those things are owned by one singular institution called DTC. Uh and these rule because you don't own it. You don't have the same rights to it. And all of this, I believe, was cooked up as part of a massive conspiracy over many years. And that's what I lay out in that book, The Next Big Crash. So I'm very, very concerned about it. And I think it could be happening soon. And again, the K-shaped economy, you know, I was talking to Tony Robbins about a year ago, and he said, 'You know, the worst thing about becoming wealthy is you become wealthy and if you haven't lost your roots, you remember who you are. You realize there are doorways that are open for you now that no average person, Have you ever heard of private banking? The average person doesn't can't have private banking. Private banking if you have millions of dollars you can open up I think by invitation maybe um a a private banking uh service and that money stays in the bank it's not loaned out or anything else that money remains yours everybody else loses their money but the private bank not associated with the other bank the rich keep their money and and I mean the uber uber uber uber uber rich um And it's it's tragic the way this whole system has been set up. The average person is just the loser in the end. And this one could be a really bad one, especially with what you say, what comes after. So, let's get into the new poll. You did a a survey of young American voters, uh, 18 to 39 years old on Mam Donnie and his policies. What did you find?
>> Okay, very disturbing stuff is what we found. Essentially, uh, young Americans overwhelmingly support socialism. Over half of them said that they wanted, not that they would vote for a socialist in 2028, but that they wanted a socialist president in 2028. That included uh, depending on which poll, a quarter to 35% or so of Trump voters. So, we're talking about even young conservatives want a socialist. A big chunk of them. Uh uh over half of of the people we pulled said that they have a favorable view of Mum Donnie. And the really scary thing is that uh even more people an even higher percentage depending on the question it was 58% to over 60% had a favorable view of Mam Donnie's radical socialist policies. So it's not just that they've fallen in love with the image of who he is. They actually agree with the policies. They want a dramatic transformation of society. And at the heart of all of this is perceived unfairness.
>> Okay, so let me let me let me stop you there because I, you know, they want the policies. I don't think they understand the policies. They hear the free stuff. They hear, you know, you're going to have a house and you're going to have a job and it's going to be fair. That's what they hear there. There's not a lot of noodling going on. And it's because they're offering to them a completely new system. They're saying this is because if you've gone through all of this, you know, growing up, imagine, you know, you were you were born in 1995. By the time you come of age, your parents are losing their house because of uh either the dotcom bubble or uh, you know, September 11th or 2028, then COVID. You've never seen this system work. You've never seen it do anything but bail out the fat cats. And so somebody comes along and you're not taught in school that this is a very dangerous philosophy. Of course, you're going to be for it. I mean, I understand completely why they're for it because they're not. They just go, "That doesn't work. He's saying he can fix it. That's new. I haven't heard that before. Yeah, I want that." That's why they want a socialist. It's not that they're for socialism. They're for what it sounds like socialism is. That's exact.
>> Would you agree with that?
>> That's 100% right. Yes. Uh young people are are willing to vote for just about anyone. We found that in the survey as well. We asked people if they were likely to vote for a Republican or a Democrat in the next presidential election. And then we asked them if you said Democrat, for example. We said, "Okay, well, if if the Republican could solve the housing crisis, would you be willing to vote for the Republican?" And four in ten of both the Republicans and Democrats said, "Yeah, I'd vote for the other party." Yeah, I'd do that. Why? Because they just they want change desperately. And they're not sold on any sort of ideological system. They don't I don't think they know it or understand it or care about it. They don't know the history of socialism. They don't know the history of capitalism. They don't know what has worked and what hasn't worked. They don't know why Sweden, Norway, and Denmark are actually not socialist societies, although they once were. And then they ran away from it. They don't know any of this stuff. And because they don't know and and a lot of them don't even care, uh they just will vote for for the hand grenade in the room for the sledgehammer to the face. That's what they want. They want radical dramatic change. And whoever they think is going to give that to them, and right now, Republicans aren't offering that. It's just the socialists offering it. Um, whoever's willing to give that to them, they're going to go in that direction in droves.
>> Any ideas on what the president could do? I mean, the president can't control the economy like this. He can he can cut red tape. Um, you know, he can try to get the Fed to lower rates uh and, you know, spur on business, >> but I mean, what what can he do? >> Yeah. >> What would you suggest?
So, this is going to be a really hard thing for people to hear, but but I think the biggest problem, the thing that people like about Donald Trump, who are on our side ideologically especially, and many people in the middle, is that he's he's a doer. He wants to do things. He wants to fix problems. He's a problem solver. That's his whole thing. But in this particular case, what we need is a problem explainer because we have fundamental uh issues with this economy to say the least. We you you've gone over it throughout this special. We need widespread dramatic transformation of our entire economy. And the only way to do that is to convince people that we need that so that there's a ground swell of support and Congress finally takes action. And by the way, we need to get rid of the filibuster. Trump is right about that. We're never going to get dramatic change without getting rid of the filibuster. Not a lot of conservatives don't agree with me on that, but I think it's essential that we get rid of that. It's the only way we're going to fix these problems. So, I think what Trump should do is spend more time not trying to come up with solutions that are that are really half solutions that it's the best that he can do in his limited situation, but instead he should focus on telling people how we got here. It was government that made healthc care so expensive. It was government that made the student loan crisis. It came from government. It's the housing crisises because of government. The wealth inequality comes from money printing. It's from government. They're the ones who created these problems and we can solve them, but it's going to take work from Congress and from the states. It's going to be a big big overhaul and people need to be convinced of that and right now they just aren't. More in just a second. Be right back.
The seasons are shifting. The air is getting cooler and the days are getting shorter and while you're switching out the wardrobe or putting on an extra blanket on the bed or something, you know, something else is happening. Um, something that you know, you don't see until it's already inside. It's inside the house and it's under your refrigerator. It's a cockroach or some sort of pest that is, you know, moving in. The ants, the spiders, the silverfish, all of it looking for the same thing. Warm place to hide out for the winter. They're homeless. Open your doors to these poor homeless refugees from the cold outside. Nope. Unless you've made it clear they're not welcome, they're coming. And that that that is hard to do if you don't have the right pest control company. Moxy, I think, is that right pest control company. They know exactly how this plays out because they've been through it a thousand and one times. And they don't just show up and spray something around the house. They plan. They strategize. Justin, I spoke to two people yesterday that are huge constitutionalists and nobody that you would know. Um, and I'll call them from time to time and ask him for advice. And and I said, I I want to know what your thoughts are on the filibuster and also what the Supreme Court is deciding on tariffs because the Constitution is clear really on both of those things. And they both said to me, Glenn, I can't believe these words are coming out of my mouth, but we are not going to survive. I am terrified of handing any president this kind of power, but if we don't have the power to move, it it just doesn't work. That's terrifying stuff.
Yeah. I mean, there's no question about it. I mean, we're in a very difficult situation as as the president told you, he needs like a decade at least to fix this. And and that's the problem. Uh the the our system is not designed for any of this. It was never meant to be this way. This isn't what the founding fathers envisioned. Most of the action was supposed to happen at the state level, not the federal level. We weren't supposed to have the direct election of senators. There's a million things that have happened over a century and more that has caused us to be in this situation, including the Fed. And until we solve this, but I think the Fed, I think the spending problem is the key to all of this. Unless we can get either a balanced budget amendment or something like that into place, I just don't see any way that we fix this.
>> Okay. Um, you know, I saw something in the poll and this shocked me because if you would say where did kids learn about socialism is neat. Uh, I would immediately say teachers, but that's not what your that's not what your poll shows.
>> What you find?
>> No. What our what our poll showed was we asked we asked this question in a variety of different ways. We asked people just tell us where you the people who said that they wanted a socialist president where did you come how did you come to this conclusion who convinced you of this and the number one answer >> was the number one answer was parents that was the number one answer by far. Um and then the number two answer was online videos and uh information like that a combination of different kinds of media but parents and grandparents family that was the number one source of information. So then we started asking questions about well what about your parents? Did whether you like socialism or not? Did your parents like socialism? Did your school did they teach socialism in a positive way? What about your church? We started asking all those kinds of questions to see if there was a correlation between those answers and whether someone would support a socialist president. And what we found was there's a really strong correlation between what your parents believe about socialism and how you vote in elections. So if your parents don't like socialism and they make that clear to you, you're much more likely to have voted for Donald Trump. If your parents were in favor of socialism, you were much more likely to have voted for Kla Harris. Uh, and we didn't see that connection, interestingly, with schools, with teachers, with where you go to church, with a variety of other factors. It was parents and and grandparents that were the biggest influences in people's lives, whether they're for socialism or against socialism. And that's actually a positive thing. It means if you're watching this show right now and you have kids or grandkids, there is something that you can do to have a real impact on the future of this country. Teach your kids the truth about socialism and communism every chance you get. It makes a big difference.
>> Let me take uh question number six. If you attend church, how does the church you attend portray democratic socialism? 16% very favorable, 17 somewhat favorable, 15% somewhat unfavorable, 13 very unfavorable, uh 12% I don't know, 28% said I don't I don't attend church. I mean, they're just they're not getting a clear sign from anyone. Nobody is really making the case. This is bad. This is bad, right?
>> The churches have totally abandoned this issue. They >> churches are dead. The the churches have completely abandoned it and they have no influence on how people think on important issues in this country anymore because they've been they've been weak and they've been asleep at the wheel and this is across denominations. This is across time. It's been going on for a while now and and now we're seeing the results of it. The that's one of the biggest reasons that we have the degradation of our society is that churches have not been teaching the truth about it and them that the church leaders of all people should be ashamed of themselves for not doing it because who are the first people who are often persecuted by socialist and communist regimes around the world. It is the churches. It is the Christian people especially.
>> And and and so the fact that they've just ignored this is just astounding and disgusting. Well, I don't want to judge anybody, but they're all going to burn in the fires of hell. Um, the uh um look at this. The M Donny's proposal for staterun or cityrun grocery stores, socialist grocery stores. I'm old enough to remember what those all looked like in socialist countries. 27% strongly support, 31% somewhat support. After that, it's 15% strongly opposed, 15% somewhat opposed. I mean, it's it's double in favorability. Is is that because they never saw what socialism does?
>> This is why we desperately need things like the torch because I don't think that people know the history of it. Our kids have been completely unprepared for socialism. They have no idea what they're up against at all. They don't know the history of it. They don't know the history of how catastrophic it's been. And so they hear these ideas and it's like the people who heard them for the first time a hundred years ago or 50 years ago. They they believe it. They have no reason not to. And and so we have to get back to basics and teach our children and grandchildren the truth before it's too late. If we don't do that, we're going to end up with with communism. We're going to end up with blood in the streets. That's how it always ends. It's the same thing every single time.
>> Uh except you have the really kind of special advantage here of having AI and you cover that. Um and the the numbers are a little disturbing on when you know, hey, would you be if they could solve your problem, would you be for AI just taking over and taking the jobs of the humans that you know are running the country? Yes. We're going to get into that tomorrow on radio. Justin, thank you so much.
>> Thanks, Ben.
>> I really appreciate it. Um Justin Haskins, um join me tomorrow on radio because we're going to we're going to go through this um piece by piece and the AI stuff is really quite disturbing. That'll be tomorrow on radio.
