Why Most Christians Pray Like Beggars When They Are Already in the Throne Room | E.W. Kenyon Sermon

Discovering Kenyon42:07

Transcription

First Thessalonians 5:17 says, "Pray without ceasing." And we have turned it into guilt. Like you should be on your knees every hour. Like you should be whispering scripture between bites of lunch. Like if you go 30 minutes without consciously directing a thought toward heaven, somehow the pipeline shuts off and God goes quiet.

That is not what Paul meant. That is not what the Greek says. That is not the covenant reality that was burning in the apostle's heart when he penned those three words. There is a Greek word buried in that phrase that unlocks a lifestyle of prayer that requires zero effort and produces maximum results. Once you understand it, prayer stops being a discipline you manage and starts being a current you live inside. Once you see it, you will never again beg for access to a God who has already taken up residence inside you.

Stay with this teaching. We are about to go somewhere together that most believers never find. And when you arrive, it will change the way you breathe. This is the Kenyon revelation tradition. This is the word of faith that E. W. Kenyon spent his life recovering from the graves of dead religion. And right now, in the next 30 minutes or so, we are going to dismantle one of the most damaging lies that the religious system has placed on the shoulders of hungry believers. You deserve to know the truth. And the truth is this, you are not a beggar at a prayer window. You are a covenant heir in the throne room. And the throne room is inside you. The moment you see that, the guilt evaporates. The performance anxiety dissolves. And prayer becomes the most natural thing you have ever done in your life. So, settle in. Open the ears of your spirit. Because this revelation is not for your head alone. It is for the hidden man of the heart. The recreated spirit inside you that already knows these things to be true and has been waiting for your mind to catch up.

Let us start with the diagnosis. Because before the remedy can land, you need to understand exactly what went wrong. Most believers have been trained to think of prayer as a performance. You show up. You say enough of the right words. You demonstrate enough sincerity, enough desperation, enough volume, and if you hit the right combination, God responds. If he does not respond, you did something wrong. You did not pray long enough. You did not fast before you came. You were not broken enough. You had unconfessed sin lurking somewhere in the basement of your soul and until you root it out, the door stays shut. That is what religious tradition taught you. And I am telling you plainly today that teaching is a lie. And it has robbed more spirit-filled believers of their covenant inheritance than almost any other single deception.

Listen carefully. The lie is not that prayer matters. Prayer is the most powerful force a recreated spirit can exercise. The lie is what prayer is. The lie is the nature of the transaction. The lie is the picture of God standing at a distance, arms folded, waiting for you to prove yourself worthy of a response. That picture is not the new covenant. That picture is old covenant performance dressed up in New Testament language. And until you understand the difference, you will keep praying from the outside of a door that has already been thrown wide open.

Here is what happened to most of you. You were taught to separate your spiritual life into sacred moments and secular moments. Prayer happens in the morning. Ideally before sunrise. Ideally on your knees. Ideally for at least 30 minutes. Then you go live the rest of your life. Which is the secular part. And you try to squeeze little prayers into the secular gaps. A quick word of thanks before a meal. A whispered request when the traffic is bad. A three sentence cry for help when the diagnosis lands. And you feel guilty the whole time. Because somewhere in the back of your mind you know this is not what Paul meant by pray without ceasing. You know Paul prayed in prison. You know he prayed in shipwrecks. You know he prayed in chains with his back bleeding from a Roman lash and his voice still steady. Still filled with something that had nothing to do with comfortable circumstances. But you cannot figure out how to get there from where you are. And the reason you cannot figure it out is because no one has shown you what the word actually means.

Here is another layer of the diagnosis that Kenyon identified with surgical precision. He called it sense knowledge domination. Most believers have allowed their senses to sit in the judges seat. >> [music] >> What I see. What I feel. What I can measure and confirm. That becomes the final authority over their inner life. And prayer becomes a desperate attempt to change the verdict of sense knowledge. I feel sick. So I pray to get well. I feel broke. So I pray for provision. I feel distant from God. So I pray to feel close again. Do you see what is happening there? The senses are setting the agenda for every prayer. The senses are defining the problem and the senses are defining what success looks like. And as long as sense knowledge sits in the judges seat, you will never pray from the position of a covenant heir. You will only ever pray from the position of a problem holder.

Kenyon writes in the two kinds of knowledge that sense knowledge has built every prison that has ever held a believer captive. Not sin. Not the devil. But the absolute unquestioned authority of what the physical senses report. And the way out of the prison is not more intense prayer directed at the bars. The way out is revelation knowledge. The God-given ability to see your reality through the lens of the covenant word rather than through the lens of your circumstances. That shift from sense knowledge to revelation knowledge is what pray without ceasing actually requires. And once it happens, prayer is no longer a frantic attempt to change your circumstances from the outside. It is a calm, authoritative declaration of a reality that already exists in the spirit realm and is simply waiting to manifest in the natural.

Hear this. The Greek word translated ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 is the word adialeiptos. Say it slowly. Adialeiptos. This is not a word that means non-stop verbal activity. This is not a word that means your mouth must be moving every minute of every day. The word comes from a root that means without interval. Without intermission. Like a persistent cough that keeps returning. Like a recurring thought that keeps surfacing. The ancient Greeks used this exact word to describe a military unit that kept returning to the battle line after every retreat. Not a unit that never rested. A unit that never quit. A unit that always came back. That is the picture. Pray without quitting. Pray without abandoning the field. Maintain a life that keeps returning to the posture of prayer. Not a life that never leaves it.

But here is where Kenyon takes this deeper than most. Because even that definition does not get us all the way home. The real revelation is not just about the frequency of prayer. The real revelation is about the nature of the one who prays. When you understand who you are as a new creation, prayer stops being something you do and starts being something you are. The recreated spirit is in constant communion with the Father because the recreated spirit has the Father living inside it. First Corinthians 6:17, he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. One spirit. Not two spirits communicating across a distance. One spirit. The indwelling presence of the Holy One is not a signal you occasionally pick up. It is the nature of your reborn inner man. It is the ground state of your existence in Christ. Pray without ceasing in light of that reality means live from the inside out. Let the awareness of his indwelling govern your entire waking life. Not just your designated prayer time.

E. W. Kenyon writes in In His Presence that most believers have never really discovered what the new birth means in terms of their standing before the Father. They have accepted the new birth as a transaction that happened once. And they treat it like a membership card they pull out when they need something. But it is not a membership card. It is a nature exchange. The old nature passed away. A new nature was born in the spirit. And that nature is the nature of a son. Not a servant. Sons do do make appointments to speak with their father. Sons live in the Father's house. Sons breathe the Father's atmosphere. Sons speak to the Father the way you are speaking right now. Silently. Continuously. Naturally. Without performance.

The word for prayer that Paul uses in Ephesians 6:18 also carries this weight. He says, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit." And watching thereunto with all perseverance. The word always there is the same family as adialeiptos. And in the spirit is not a reference to a particular prayer technique. It is a reference to the location of your spiritual life. You live in the spirit. You walk in the spirit. You pray in the spirit. All of it flows from the same source. From the same resident presence. From the same greater one who has made your recreated spirit his permanent home. This is not a state you achieve after years of spiritual discipline. This is a state you entered the moment you were born again. The discipline is simply learning to be aware of what is already true.

And here is a truth that most prayer teachers never touch. There are actually several different Greek words in the New Testament that get translated as prayer in our English Bibles. And each one carries a completely distinct meaning. The word proseuche, used most frequently, means an exchange. A turning toward. A face-to-face communication with the Father. It is not a request word. It is a presence word. It describes the act of orienting yourself toward God the way a sunflower orients toward the sun. Not striving. Not straining. Simply turning. The word deesis, often translated supplication, is the one that carries the sense of specific requests of bringing a defined need to the Father. And the word enteuxis describes intercession. The act of meeting with someone on behalf of another. Paul uses all three of these words in his letters. And adialeiptos pray without ceasing is attached most tightly to enteuxis which means the ceaseless prayer Paul is describing is primarily the ceaseless turning of the inner man toward the Father. It is orientation not petition. It is a lifestyle of face toward God not a schedule of asking sessions.

E. W. Kenyon understood this distinction better than almost any teacher of his generation. He writes in The Hidden Man that the recreated spirit has a natural gravity toward the Father just as a compass needle has a natural gravity toward magnetic north. You do not have to force a compass to point north. You simply have to remove the interference. And in the same way you do not have to force a recreated spirit to pray. You simply have to remove the interference of sense, knowledge, domination of sin consciousness of the performance mentality that religion installed. Remove those and the spirit naturally turns toward the Father moment by moment hour by hour all day long. That is the pray without ceasing lifestyle. Not a burden you carry a gravity you yield to.

Now, let me [music] give you a picture because revelation needs a coat to hang on. Imagine a deep-sea diver in the 1800s. He is working on a submerged ship. One of those great wrecks sitting silently on the floor of a cold harbor. He has a heavy brass helmet bolted to his suit. The water outside is dark and pressing. Everything about his physical environment is telling him that he cannot breathe here. That this is not where human beings were made to live. And above him, stretching all the way to the surface, there's a long rubber hose that pumps fresh air down to him from the ship above. The diver is not thinking about the hose. He is not concentrating on breathing. He is not stopping every 2 minutes to pray the hose stays connected or to beg the ship's crew to keep the pump running. He is working. He is looking at the hull, moving debris, focused entirely on the task in front of him. But every breath he takes is coming from above. Every moment his lungs inflate, they inflate with air that has been supplied by a source outside himself and above himself. He is not earning the air. He is not performing for the air. He is simply living inside a system that makes his work possible. And the system never stops supplying as long as the connection holds.

That is the lifestyle Paul is describing. That is pray without ceasing. You are not the diver who has to stop his work every 30 minutes and swim back to the surface to catch his breath. You are not even the diver who has to consciously notice the hose. You are the diver who has been joined to the source so completely that every breath, every decision, every word, every step forward is supplied from above, from within, from the greater one who is in you. First John 4:4, "Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." That greater one is not waiting for your prayer time to speak. That greater one is as near as your next breath. He is as available as the next thought that rises in your mind. He is as present in your kitchen at 2:00 in the afternoon as he is in your prayer room at 5:00 in the morning. And the diver who understands the hose does not live in fear that the air will run out. The diver lives in confidence. The diver works with authority. The diver does the job.

Now think about what happens when a diver ignores the hose. When he swims too far from the line. When he gets so focused on the wreck that he forgets what is supplying his very next breath. Suddenly the air is thin. Suddenly the darkness feels heavier. Suddenly the weight of the water is no longer something the hose can overcome. That is the picture of a believer who is disconnected from conscious awareness of the indwelling presence. The presence does not leave. The Holy Spirit does not abandon you the moment you stop paying attention. But your ability to draw on that resource, to speak from that resource, to enforce the covenant from that resource, is directly tied to how much of your inner life you have given over to awareness of the one who lives inside you.

This is why Romans 12:2 is not optional for the believer who wants to pray without ceasing. Be not conformed to this world. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The renewing of the mind is the training program for the diver. It is the daily hourly practice of pulling your attention back from the surface of circumstances and returning it to the reality of the one who supplies every breath. Not because he stopped supplying, but because you stopped drawing.

Now you might say, "That sounds beautiful. But how does it actually work when I have a need? When my body is sick. >> [music] >> When my bank account is empty. When my marriage is shaking. How does the diver with the hose deal with a real crisis under the water?" And that is exactly where we need to build the legal framework. Because the lifestyle of prayer is not just a mystical state of awareness. It is a legally established covenant position from which you enforce the verdict that has already been rendered.

Here is what Kenyon taught. And here is what the word confirms. Everything you will ever need was placed in a completed legal transaction on the cross. It was not placed in God's maybe pile. It was not placed in God's we will see pile. It was placed in the done column on the day Jesus said it is finished. The Greek word is tetelestai. It means paid in full. It is the same word a merchant stamped on a bill when the debt was completely satisfied. It is the same word a judge used when a sentence had been fully served and the prisoner was legally free to walk. When Jesus uttered that word from the cross, he was not expressing a hope. He was not offering a prayer. He was filing a legal judgment with the highest court in existence. He was declaring that the entire debt of human sin and sickness and lack had been absorbed, canceled, and removed from the books forever.

First Peter chapter 2 verse 24, who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness. By whose stripes you were healed. Notice the tense. Were healed. [music] Not will be healed if you pray hard enough. Not might be healed if the Father decides to move tonight. Were healed, past tense, completed action. The healing is not something you are waiting for. The healing is something you are enforcing. There is a massive difference between waiting for a verdict and enforcing a verdict that has already been rendered. A verdict that has been rendered does not need more pleading. It does not need more tears. It does not need you to make yourself look more desperate or more broken before the judge takes you seriously. It needs a messenger who knows the law and will not back down from the judgment that was declared.

Isaiah 53:4 and 5 confirm it from the prophetic record. Written 700 years before the cross, "Surely, he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows." The Hebrew word for griefs here is coli and it means sickness, disease, [music] physical infirmity. He bore it. He took it into his own body. He carried it away. He removed it from the ledger of your life before you ever arrived in the earth. And the word for carried is nasa, which means to lift, to take up, to carry away entirely. He did not cover your sickness. He put it away. He removed it from the account. This is not a metaphor about emotional pain. This is a legal transaction that took place in the spirit realm before your symptom had a name. And when you come to the Father in prayer, you are not asking him to do something he has not done. You are enforcing something he finished.

Second Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new." You are not a repaired sinner. You are not a renovated version of the old man with fresh paint over the same rotting wood. You are a new species. You are a being who did not exist before the new birth. The recreated spirit you now possess is not a copy of Adam's original nature. It is a participation in the divine nature itself. Second Peter 1:4, "That by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." Partakers of the divine nature. That is who you are when you come to the Father in prayer. Not a broken creature begging for scraps. A son who carries the nature of the Father and stands in the full rights of that nature.

Second Corinthians 5:21 drives it all the way home. He who knew no sin was made sin for us. That we might be made the righteousness of God in him. You are the righteousness of God in Christ. Not you will be if you perform well enough. Not you are on your best days. You are. Present tense. The righteousness of God in him. And righteousness consciousness not sin consciousness is the foundation of effective prayer. A man praying from sin consciousness is like a man presenting a check and whispering, "I am not sure if this is good." He has already undermined his own transaction. A man praying from righteousness consciousness walks in knowing the account is backed by the full resources of heaven and the signature of Jesus Christ himself.

This is what Kenyon meant when he talked about the two kinds of knowledge. Sense knowledge says, "I look sick. I feel weak. My body is sending distress signals and I cannot ignore them." Revelation knowledge says the word of God declares that by his stripes I was healed. And I choose to give the word a higher position than the symptom. I acknowledge the symptom the way a lawyer acknowledges the opposing brief. I see it. I understand what it is claiming. And I rebut it with a covenant argument that is unassailable. You are not denying the symptom. You are refusing to let the symptom have the final word. The symptom speaks the language of sense knowledge. The word speaks the language of the covenant. And a man or woman who prays without ceasing is a man or woman who has trained their inner life to default to the language of the covenant. No matter what the body reports. No matter what the bank statement says. No matter what the world outside is shouting.

Now, let me show you what this looks like in practice. Because revelation without application is just inspiration that evaporates by Tuesday. The first thing you do is settle who you are before you settle what you need. This is not optional. This is not something you do once at an altar and then move on from. This is the daily renewing of the mind that Romans 12:2 commands. Every single morning. Before your feet hit the floor. Before you look at your phone. Before you check the news or read the morning report on everything that is going wrong in the world. You make a declaration of identity, >> [music] >> not a declaration of what you want. A declaration of what you are. You say out loud, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Greater is he that is in me [music] than he that is in the world. I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. I do not pray as someone outside the presence. I pray as someone who carries the presence. The Father hears me not because I earned access this morning, but because I am in Christ and Christ is in me. You are not warming up the connection when you do this. The connection was never cold. You are reminding your soul of what your spirit already knows. The recreated spirit knows it is in union with the Father. The soul, the mind and the emotions, needs to be brought into agreement with that reality every single day. The soul is a follower, not a leader. It goes where you point it. And if you point it at the problem every morning, it will follow the problem into anxiety and unbelief. But if you point it at the covenant every morning, it will follow the covenant into rest and authority. This is the renewing of the mind. This is the practical daily work of a believer who has decided to live from the inside out rather than from the outside in.

The second thing you do is bring your need to the Father as a covenant right. Not as a desperate plea. There is a verse in Philippians 4:6 that most believers read but never fully inhabit. Be anxious for nothing. But in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Notice the word that precedes the request. Thanksgiving. You come to the Father already giving thanks. Not because the answer has shown up in the natural yet. But because the answer was legally established before you ever had the need. Thanksgiving is not positivity. Thanksgiving is not pretending the problem does not exist. Thanksgiving is a faith statement. It is saying to the Father, I know what your word declares and I am receiving it now before my eyes can confirm it. I thank you that the finished work is complete. I thank you that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. I thank you that all my needs are supplied according to your riches in glory. I am not hoping for these things. I am thanking you for them because they belong to me in the covenant. That is the posture. And from that posture you make your declaration. >> [music] >> Father, I come to you not as a beggar but as a son. Not as an outsider hoping for access but as a covenant partner who carries your nature. Your word declares that by the stripes of Jesus I was healed. I receive that healing now. I enforce the verdict of the cross over this body. I thank you that the finished work is complete and I am standing in its fullness today. That is not positive thinking. That is not a motivational technique borrowed from the self-help section. That is a new creation standing on the foundation of the completed work and refusing to accept less than what the covenant provides. There is a boldness to it. There is a certainty to it. And that boldness does not come from arrogance. It comes from knowing whose you are and what he has already done.

The third thing you practice is maintaining the confession between formal prayer times. This is where pray without ceasing becomes a tangible daily reality. It means you refuse to speak the language of the problem. When someone asks how you are doing, you do not give a medical report. You do not narrate the symptom to everyone who will listen. You say, "I am enforcing my healing and the word is working in my body right now." You do not say, "My finances are a disaster." You say, "God supplies all my needs according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus, and I am standing on that word today." This is not denial. This is not pretending. This is choosing which reality receives the authority of your spoken agreement. Every word you speak is a vote. Every confession is casting a ballot for either sense knowledge or covenant reality. And a believer who prays without ceasing is a believer who has decided to vote for the covenant all day long. Not just during official prayer hours.

Let me also address what you do when the declaration feels empty. When you speak the words and nothing in your body or emotions seems to respond. When it feels like you are speaking into a void and the symptom is still there and the bank account still says what it says, this is the moment that separates those who walk in the covenant from those who visit it occasionally. The temptation is to conclude that it is not working. That maybe this teaching is not for you. That maybe your situation is the exception. That is sense knowledge trying to retake the judges seat. And you must refuse it the same way you would refuse a bill collector who shows up demanding payment on a debt that was already paid. You do not invite him in for coffee and a long conversation about whether the debt might still be valid. You show him the receipt and you close the door. The receipt is [music] the word. When your emotions say the declaration is not working, you do not stop declaring. You go back to the receipt. You open to 1 Peter 2:24 and you read it again. You go to Isaiah 53 again. You say this is the record. This is the legal document. This is what the court of heaven decided. And I choose to stand on the record rather than on the report. That is not stubbornness. That is faith. And faith, the kind of faith Kenyon describes, [music] is not a feeling. It is a decision to give the word the highest place of authority in your inner life, regardless of what sense knowledge is presenting as evidence.

There is also a practice that Kenyon called the confession of possession. Before you ever see the answer in the natural, you begin to speak as though the answer is already yours. Not as a manipulation technique. Not as a way of convincing yourself emotionally, but as a legal declaration. A soldier who is enforcing a court order does not wait until he sees the property handed over before he announces the verdict. He announces the verdict first. Because the verdict is what gives him the authority to enforce. You announce the verdict first. You say I have the healing. I have the provision. I have the wisdom. I have the peace. Not I will have it. Not I am waiting for it. I have it. Because the word declares it is already mine in the covenant. And I am enforcing the covenant now.

Here is a sample declaration that you can begin speaking right now. Speak it aloud if you are able to. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The greater one lives in me and never leaves me. I pray without ceasing because I carry his presence every moment of every day. The Father hears me not because I earned access through my performance, but because I am in Christ and Christ is in me. The verdict of the cross is final. By his stripes I was healed. God supplies all my needs. I am righteous before the Father. Not by works, but by the blood of the new covenant. And nothing that comes against me today can override the authority of that finished work. Say that again tomorrow morning. Say it the morning after that. Do not wait until the crisis erupts to declare the truth. Saturate yourself in the truth before the crisis arrives and you will discover that crises lose their power over a mind that is already deeply established in the covenant.

Now, I need to warn you. Because the enemy has a very specific tactic for the believer who begins to walk in this revelation. And if you do not recognize it, it will steal the ground you just gained within 48 hours of this teaching ending. The moment you begin to make covenant declarations over your body, your finance, or your mind, the enemy will dispatch condemnation. He will whisper, "Who do you think you are talking to God like that? You were angry yesterday. You failed last week. Your prayer life has been inconsistent for months. You do not deserve the answer. You do not have have faith. Your past is too complicated. Your record is too spotty." And every word of that accusation will feel like it is coming from your own conscience, from a place of genuine spiritual sensitivity. Because the accuser is subtle. He does not announce himself as the enemy. He mimics the voice of holy conviction.

Here is how you tell the difference. Revelation knowledge always points you to the blood, the name, and the finished work. Condemnation always points you to your own performance and your own failure. If the voice is drawing your attention to what Jesus has done, lean in. If the voice is drawing your attention to what you have failed to do, that is the accuser. And you do not debate the accuser. You do not hold a committee meeting with him to examine his claims. You do not journal for 3 days asking God whether the condemnation has a valid point. You silence [music] him with the blood. Revelation 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. By the blood and by the word of their testimony, not by their consistent prayer record, not by their superior spiritual performance, by the blood and the spoken declaration. The blood established your standing before the Father in absolute and permanent righteousness. The word of your testimony is the spoken declaration that brings that blood into active authority over every accusation the enemy files against you. When condemnation comes, you speak immediately. You say out loud, "I am covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. I am the righteousness of God in him. My standing before the Father is not based on my performance. My standing is based on the finished work of the cross. And in the name of Jesus, the voice of condemnation is silenced." That is not arrogance. That is a covenant air enforcing a verdict.

There is a second enemy tactic you need to identify. And it is more dangerous than condemnation because it comes dressed as sympathy. It is what Kenyon called sympathy with the symptom. The enemy will not always attack you with guilt. Sometimes, he will simply invite you to feel deeply sorry for yourself. To describe [music] your pain in detail. To rehearse the timeline of your suffering to every friend and family member who will sit still long enough to listen. And every retelling of the story reinforces the reality of the problem in your soul. Every time you narrate the symptom, you are casting another vote for the sense knowledge verdict. You are building a case for the problem rather than enforcing the case for the covenant. This does not mean you are dishonest with trusted people in your life. It means you do not let your testimony become a symptom report. You learn to say this is what the enemy is presenting. And this is what the word says. And I am choosing the word. That is a testimony. That is speaking the word of your testimony. That builds faith in the room rather than draining it.

Religious tradition will also tell you that this level of boldness in prayer is presumptuous. It will tell you to add more qualifiers. More. Maybe if it is your will. More I know I might be asking too much. And I want to address that directly because 1 John 5:14 says this is the confidence we have in approaching God. That if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And the following verse continues, and if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. The question is not whether God is willing. The question is whether you know what his will is. And his will is written in the covenant. His will is declared in Isaiah 53. His will is confirmed in 1 Peter 2:24. His will is stated plainly in 3 John 2 beloved. I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health. Even as your soul prospers. The covenant is the will. When you pray the covenant, you are praying with the full authority of a son who knows what the Father has already declared. And you are enforcing it on the earth without apology. Do not let religion clip your wings on this. Do not let a theology of suffering convince you that God is more glorified by your continued pain than by your healing. Do not let a false humility keep you whispering when the covenant gives you the right to speak with authority. The believer who prays without ceasing is not the quietest person in the room. He is the most established. He is the one whose inner world is so saturated with the word that when pressure comes from outside, what comes out is the covenant, not the complaint.

So now, let us bring this to its full landing. You are a new creation. You carry the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit of God. The Father has taken up permanent residence in your recreated spirit. Prayer is not a discipline you perform to close the distance between yourself and a far away God. Prayer is a language you inhabit because you have been made one spirit with the one who dwells within you. Pray without ceasing means live from the inside out. Every moment of every day, in conscious agreement with the greater one who lives in you, speaking the language of the covenant over every situation >> [music] >> your natural senses report. Never abandoning the position of a son who knows the will of the Father and enforces it on the earth without wavering. You are not a beggar. Stop praying like one. You are a covenant heir. Start praying like one. You are not waiting for access. You are already in the room. You are not hoping the verdict goes in your favor. The verdict was rendered 2,000 years ago on a cross outside Jerusalem, and it reads, "Paid in full." Healed. Delivered. Provided for. Established in the righteousness of the Son of God. Nothing about your circumstances changes that verdict. Nothing about your past changes that verdict. Nothing about the report the doctor gave you or the number the bank sent you changes that verdict. The verdict stands. And your job as a new creation is to enforce it with your mouth. Your thoughts, your lifestyle, and every declaration you make from this day forward.

Now, speak this aloud. Say every word with your voice and mean it in your spirit. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I pray without ceasing because the greater one lives in me, and he never leaves me. I enforce the verdict of the cross over my body, my mind, my family, and my finances today. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and I stand in that righteousness every moment of every day. The Father hears me because I am in Christ. The Father responds to me because the covenant gives me legal standing. The blood of Jesus is my authority. The name of Jesus is my weapon. The word of God is my sword. I receive all that the finished work provides, and I will not be moved from this position. The greater one in me is greater than anything that comes against me. I live from the inside out. I pray without ceasing, and the covenant holds.

Now, go to the comments right now and type these words, I am a covenant heir, not a beggar. That is your confession for today. That is the word of your testimony. Let it stand in the comment section as a declaration that the religious system does not speak for you anymore. And if this teaching shifted something in your spirit today, subscribe to this channel and share it with someone who has been carrying the weight of religious performance for too long. They deserve to know that the door is already open and they are already inside.

There were mornings I woke up and the symptom was louder than the declaration. There were nights when the financial report looked like a direct refutation of everything I had been confessing. There were moments I questioned whether I had it right. And in every one of those moments, I had to make a choice. Not once, not twice, but every single time the pressure came, I have learned, through years of walking this out, that the moment I begin describing my problem out loud to anyone who will listen, I lose ground I spent weeks gaining. He has not moved and he never will.
