This is the gardener backpack for waterfed pole window cleaning. This is legendary.
This backpack, it's been around for such a long time. And I think this is an absolutely brilliant piece of equipment if you're starting out window cleaning. It's got a pump and battery all built in. You just fill it with pure water, connect it up to a window cleaning waterfed pole, and off you go. Basically, you're you're in business. So perhaps that's one of the reasons why it's so popular.
I mean, this is a fantastic way to start window cleaning without ladders. I mean, I took a different route when I first started, but I think this is a great way to start a business because there's so many other things you can do with pure water, not just window cleaning, but also equips you to be able to clean conservatory roofs by this method. Uh, washing down fascias and sophets. So, the whole range of different cleaning services you can offer once you've got the waterfed pole setup. So, I think that's one of the reasons why this has been so popular for so many years.
Even when you become more established and you've got uh other bits of waterfed pole equipment, maybe down the line you get a van mounted system. I think these still come in useful for accessing windows that are difficult to get to or even for applying cleaning solutions, soapy solutions, or even chemicals. This can still be used. So, so many uses for this.
It says it's a backpack and it comes with these little straps. They're pretty flimsy little straps. Not really good for much to be honest. Um, I've tried to put them on there. I can't even get them on there. And they don't even look heavy duty enough to take the weight of the backpack. I've never actually seen anyone using the straps. I think most people just stick it on a trolley and it's much easier to to move around that way. And uh, it's rechargeable. Just comes with this little charging pack there which is really easy to use as well.
The really nice thing about this is that you've got two on positions here. In position two, it gives you maximum power. So, you just get full power of the pump. And in position one, you actually can control the flow and adjust it up and down. So, that's really nice to have that option to be able to preserve your water a little bit as well if you want to use less flow depending on what type of jets you're using and how high the windows are that you're cleaning. So, that's really nice to have that option. So, really fantastic little little bit of kit.
This spray nozzle actually comes from Window Cleaning Warehouse. It's a facelift spray nozzle that's really good for spraying chemicals if you want to treat a conservatory roof or fascures first with a soapy solution or a chemical or I've even used it for spraying a chemical treatment on driveways, roof treatments, anything like that. Uh it's really handy to have a spray a spray nozzle like that one. And this little attachment from gardener that's euro thread attachment which will just go on the quick release gooseeneck like that. And then that screws on there like that. So yeah, a few simple bits of kit.
So if you want to start waterfed pole window cleaning and uh you've got a very small budget, this is a great way to go. All you need is the pure water.
