Here's why Googling things and or using AI is not great for health.
A lot of y'all picked head trauma because you asked yourself the question, can someone with head trauma wind up like this? Can head trauma cause this? The answer is absolutely yes, but that's the wrong question.
The practice of medicine is about differential diagnosis. If an 18-year-old fell and hit their head 5 weeks ago and had a head trauma, what is the most likely presentation? What is the second most likely presentation? How many people who are in a car accident 5 weeks later are in their underwear in freezing weather flapping their arms and saying that they're going to fulfill the prophecy?
A lot of people think that being a doctor is about treatment. It's not about treatment, it's about diagnosis. You would see other things if it was likely to be head trauma. It's not that head trauma can't cause this.
This has a real constellation of disorganized speech and behavior. This is really like textbook schizophrenia. So, this is like a first break psychosis kind of picture.
