Hey YouTube family, my name is Kaylee and thank you for joining us today. If you haven't already, please subscribe to our YouTube channel so that you can stay up to date each week. And we believe that God has a powerful word for you. So let's dive right in.
You are taking notes. The title of my sermon is making money. Making money. Everyone say making money. Money.
Now when you go to work tomorrow, they be like, "Hey, what your preacher preach about?" Like he preached about making money. That's kind of weird, right? Like making money like like how many I some of you guys you've been to church your whole entire life. Think about it. When was the last time you heard a sermon on making money, right? Kind of weird like making money. But here's the issue and here's why we have to address making money. If you don't get your instruction from the church on making money, guess where you going to get your instruction from? The world. And guess who directs and coordinates the world? Satan.
So any area that the church is silent on, Satan speaks on. Let me say it again. Any area that the church is silent on, Satan speaks on. If you think of the areas where Satan is the loudest, they're the same areas where the church is the most quiet.
So we have to speak on everything. We have to preach the whole council of God. And when I sat down, I've been going to church for a long time. I was like, I've never heard a sermon on how to make money and more and and if it's and if it's God talking about how to make money, it's never just that simple. It's so much deeper than just simply making money. But everybody in here at a point, you've been on a phone call or you sat down with your spouse or you had a complaint that you didn't have enough money and you thought about how to get more money. You planned on how to get more money. You strategized on how to get more money. You got a second job to get more money. like like like like you finding ways to get more money. You find ways to shorten those taxes so you can keep more money. So you already are passionate about this topic. Why not hear about what God has to say about it? Why not learn from the kingdom of God? Can we give God a shout of praise? Y'all stiff. Come on. Unstiffen up.
So, so, so, um, the Bible is a source on how to get money, how to make wealth. Most of the motivational speakers, they come to the Bible, they rip off God's principles, take his name off of it, and then they're going to publish a book on teaching people how to get money because the Bible is full of all the principles um of this world. So, the Lord's going to teach us how to build wealth, but he's going to teach us how to do it his way. He's also going to teach us that life is not about building wealth. There's more important things about life than building wealth. Do you know that God cares more about you being saved than you being successful? And if you make God choose between you being saved and you being successful, which one you think he going to choose? You being saved, which means you better be saved before you even think about success. CUZ IF YOU AIN'T SAVED, and if he has to choose between the two, he's going to always choose being saved. And if you being successful, and what is that, right? But but from a worldly standard, you being successful, you having more money, God's not going to do that if that's going to result in you coming to church less, you praying less, uh you being more puffed up, you being more prideful, you being against God, God's not going to give you provision so you can violate his vision. Come on. So if you if you're not solid on God, solid on alignment, solid on obedience, solid on the will of God, if money won't make you better, but it'll make you bitter, God won't give it to you. Right. Right. And I'm not saying you can't make more money. I'm just saying if you're not going to do right, you're not going to be able to make more money God's way. Yes.
So, I don't have a whole I don't have a whole bunch of time to cover that. I would suggest is go on our YouTube Radiant Church CSK, listen to the previous messages. They'll cover that. Some of next week will cover that, too. I feel like next week may be the most powerful sermon of all of them. Um, but there is a way for you to make money and there's a way for you to do it God's way. If you have your Bibles, go to Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy chapter 28. You know what? We're going to skip down. Go to Deuteronomy chapter 8. Deuteronomy chapter 8. We're going to start with verse 18. When you guys are there, just say, "Ready." Okay, give everyone else a second to get there. Deuteronomy chapter 8 and it reads, "And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers as it is this day." And the Lord is talking to the children of Israel. It says, "And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the power to give wealth that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers as it is this day."
So what the Bible is saying is this, that God gives you the power to get wealth. He gives you the power to get wealth, but it's saying you must remember the Lord your God. You must remember him. Why is it saying you must remember him? is because a lot of people that get wealth, they forget about God. A lot of people that get wealth, they don't remember God. They don't remember his goodness. They don't remember how he provide. They don't remember how he brought them out of the miry clay. They don't remember how he made a way when there was no way. They don't remember how he made a highway out of the sea. They forget God. And God is saying, "If I'm going to bless you, if I'm going to honor you, if I'm going to pour on you, if I'm going to resource you, I need you to remember the Lord thy God. I need you to remember me. I need you to honor me." GOD SAYS, "YOU have to remember me and honor me." My question is, if God gave you more wealth, would you honor him with it or would you just honor you with it? Would you do his will with it or will you just do your will with it? Will you accomplish his vision or will you just accomplish your vision? Will you go where he sends you or will you just go where you WANT TO GO? GOD SAYS, "WILL YOU REMEMBER HIM?" AND I WANT TO TELL YOU, IF YOU WON'T REMEMBER GOD WITH YOUR WEALTH, you probably won't get it. And more than you and more than you probably won't get it, you probably don't need it. You probably don't need it. Wealth can be very, very destructive. And God says you have to remember him. You have to honor God with your wealth. AND HOW DO YOU HONOR GOD WITH YOUR WEALTH? You honor him by managing it. You honor him by stewarding it. You honor him by sewing it. You honor him by by meeting needs and helping people and serve people and building up the community and building up his house and building up his church and building up his people. Are you going to honor the Lord WITH YOUR WEALTH? WHAT POINT IS it for God to bless you only for you TO CURSE HIM? WHAT POINT IS it for God to bless you and resource you only for you to not resource his kingdom? God has no point in blessing you if you're not going to be a blessing in return. God don't want to just get a blessing to you. He wants to get a blessing through you so it could benefit everybody around you. And if he can't benefit everyone around you, WHY WOULD HE GET A BLESSING TO YOU? God says he wants you to honor HIM WITH YOUR WEALTH. DON'T FORGET THE LORD. AND TOO MANY OF YOU GUYS, you get blessed by God and you get brand new. You get blessed by God, you get a little bougie. You get blessed by God and now you can't remember where God brought you from. You get on your high horse and you forget THE NIGHTS WHERE YOU WERE ON YOUR knees crying out to God, crying out for a miracle, crying out for provision. The Lord SAYS, "IF I BLESS YOU, DON'T FORGET ME." And many times God will bless people and they forget him. It happens all throughout the Bible and it happens in our world today. Don't forget God.
Now, I want to go a little bit deeper. I'm going to go a little bit deeper. Many of you guys are saying, "Well, in order for me to get wealth, do I actually need God? Do I have to do it God's way?" No, you don't. The devil got a lot of wealth for you. He told Jesus, "If you bow down and worship me, I give you the glory of this earth and all the kingdoms of this world. I give you their wealth. I give you their glory. If you bow down and worship me, you can get wealth from the devil, but guess what? It's going to require a bow." What is bow means? Bow means to worship. You will have to worship Satan in order to be wealthy. We see it all on TV. We see it all in Hollywood and all in entertainment. You can get wealthy, but you will have to bow a knee. Satan never releases wealth without a bow knee. Which means that if you don't get wealth God's way, you're going to have to bow your knee to Satan because Satan is like God. He's not going to give money to nobody that won't build his kingdom as well. Wow. AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SATAN AND GOD is this. God says that the Lord makes one rich and adds no sorrow. Do you know every dollar on this planet has sorrow attached to it except for the dollars that God govern which means you can have the wealth but you won't have the peace. You can have the wealth but you won't have the joy. You can have the wealth but you won't have the love. You can have the wealth but you will be tossing and turning in the middle of the night. You can't sleep. You can have the wealth but you may lose your family. You can have the wealth but you may be sick in your stomach because you're you because you're fighting and you're tormented because the wealth comes with sorrow. But the Lord says when he makes one rich, he adds no sorrow. Which means God when he blesses you and resources you, it comes with peace. It comes with joy. It comes with hope. It comes with strength because it's a conduit for the kingdom of God, not a conduit against it.
So God will bless you. And what is wealth? What is riches? It's relative, right? If you're in America, you might already be rich. What is wealth? What is riches? All I know is God will give you more than what you have if you're willing to do more than what you've done. Yeah. He'll give you more than what you have. And here's what the Bible says. The Bible says it is the Lord. He said don't forget me. Don't forgive me. Don't forget me. And the reason why he said don't forget him is this. Here's why people forget God in their wealth. He said don't forgive me. Don't forget me. He said because it's the Lord that gives you the power to get wealth. What is he saying? God is saying, see what happens is you cry before me, you bow before me, and you ask of me of wealth. Then you get wealth and think you did it. You get wealth AND THINK IT WAS YOUR SMARTS. YOU THINK IT WAS YOUR STRATEGY. YOU THINK IT WAS YOUR IDEA. YOU THINK IT WAS YOUR BUSINESS. YOU THINK IT WAS YOUR ORGANIZATION. AND THE REASON WHY YOU think that is because God doesn't have money. Wow. Where does he bank here? Does he bank at Captain Capital One? Does he bank at Wells Fargo? Does he bank at Bank of America? Does he bank AT CHASE BAY? WHERE DOES GOD BANK AT? GOD DOESN'T HAVE MONEY. YES, HE HAS A CALENDAR on a THOUSAND HILLS, BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT, WHICH MEANS GOD can't give you money. This is why some of you guys ARE MAD AT GOD. YOU PRAY FOR God to give you money and you never got money. You thought God wasn't blessing you. God doesn't give money. WELL, WHY DON'T GOD GIVE MONEY? because he don't have none. GOD IS A SPIRIT. WHAT IS HE DOING WITH GREEN paper with presidents on it? He don't have money. I'll tell you what he has. He has power. And God GIVES YOU POWER AND POWER GIVES YOU MONEY. That's why he SAID, "I THE LORD GIVE YOU THE POWER TO GET WEALTH." DO YOU WANT TO? LET ME SHOW YOU THE POWER TO GET WEALTH. UM, if you think of the power to give off, it comes from this word coach. It's a Hebrew word. It's called coach. It means capacity, ability, strength, strategy, skills, force, and resources. Let me say it again. Capacity, ability, strength, strategy, skills, force, and resources. In other words, he said, I give you I give you co-ak. I GIVE YOU THE POWER TO GET WELL. Do you know the very breath in your lungs IS CO-CH. IT'S THE power to get well. Do you know the strength of your BODY IS COACH? IT'S THE POWER TO GET WELL. DO YOU KNOW THAT STRATEGY, THAT IDEA YOU CAME UP, IS CO- IT'S THE POWER to get wealth. DO YOU KNOW THE FAVOR THAT GOD HAS PLACED IN YOUR LIFE WHERE YOU WALK IN a room and people just LIKE YOU AND PEOPLE JUST GRAVITATE TOWARDS YOU AND PEOPLE JUST YIELD TOWARDS YOU? IT'S CO-OP. IT'S THE POWER TO GET WEALTH. DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR JOB AND YOU JUST FIGURE THINGS OUT BECAUSE YOUR MIND JUST COULD PUT THINGS BACK TOGETHER. IT'S CO-OP. IT'S THE POWER TO GET WEALTH. GOD SAYS, "I DON'T GIVE YOU WEALTH, BUT I GIVE YOU CO-AK." YES. AND WHAT HAPPENS IS YOU TAKE MY POWER and get wealth and think you did it. And it was never you. It was ALWAYS THE CO-ORK OF GOD. IT WAS ALWAYS THE POWER OF GOD. GOD GIVES YOU THE power to get wealth. Which means he's going to give you the power to run that business. He's going to give you the power to get through school so you can go and be a part of that job. He's going to give you the power to start that organization. He's going to give you the power to to run your company. He's GOING TO GIVE YOU CO-OP. HE GIVES power and power turns in to wealth. Wow, that's good. Because what is power? When we broke down the different phrases, what is power? It's capacity to handle. He's going to give you coak. He's going to give you capacity to handle wealth. What else is power? It's ability to produce. God's going to give you ability to produce. What else is co-ack? It's ideas. He's going to give you God inspired ideas, products, uh, designs, and things you're going to come up with, and you're going to have ideas to create wealth with. He's going to give you strength. You're going to have the strength of an ox. You're going to be able to build and go and run. He's going to give you strength. He's going to give you skills. You will have supernaturally supernatural skills to execute at a supernatural level. He's going to give you strategy. You're going to have ideas and problem solving abilities. He's going to give you opportunities that you're going to walk into things and you're going to be like, I don't even know what I did to get here. I don't even know how I met these people. I don't even know how these doors open. Supernatural opportunity from God. He's going to give you favor. One day of favor with God is better than a 100 days of labor with man. One day of favor with God is better than a 100 days of labor for man. YOU CAN HAVE A THOUSAND DAYS of labor from man. It don't even equate to one day of favor with God. He's going to give you authority, which means you're going to operate in abundance. You're going to have authority. You're going to be able to call things that not as though they were. And things are going to change. Things are going to shift. Things are going to align because he has given you THE AUTHORITY TO WALK into realms and call realms as they shall be. And they will begin to as assimulate and to align with the will and the word and the purpose of God. In other words, he gives you the competence and the capacity to get wealth. He gives you value and it's not intrinsic value because you were already given intrinsic value at salvation that that you are just as valuable as everyone else. There's no one on this world more valuable than you at salvation. The blood of Christ gives you intrinsic value. All of you guys are equal. You're equal in Christ. There's not Jew, Gentile, male or female, any of that. You're intrinsically valued. But then he gives you value to the marketplace. And you become valuable to the marketplace. And that value is a power. And that power is what's exchanged for wealth. In other words, you don't get paid by the hour. You get paid by the value you bring to the hour. Which means he's going to make you so much more valuable in what you do that your hour is going to bring more value to the place at your job. An hour with you is going to change things and shift things. An hour with you is going to make things better. An hour sitting down with you are GOING TO HELP PEOPLE PROBLEMS go away. Why? Because he gave you value. And you're going to give value to that hour and it's going to be exchanged for wealth. This is how the kingdom of God works. God makes you valuable and you exchange value for wealth. Jesus was the most valuable man that ever lived. He was greater than money. He was more valuable than money. Jesus was the epitome of provision because value and power and money are interchangeable in the marketplace. But Jesus didn't physically need money because he was power. He was power. In other words, when Jesus needed to pay his taxes, he didn't need to get a job. He can talk to a fish and a fish and bring a money up from the ocean. Why? Because he was so valuable. A fish will obey him. So, he had the POWER TO GET WEALTH THROUGH A FISH BECAUSE HIS VALUE COULD COMMAND animals and it could command FISH TO OBEY HIM. THAT'S HOW valuable he was. Jesus didn't need health insurance. Why? Because he could HEAL THE SICK. JESUS DIDN'T NEED A DERMATOLOGIST. WHY? BECAUSE HE COULD CLEANSE the leper. Jesus didn't need an optometrist. WHY? BECAUSE HE CAN OPEN THE BLIND EYES. HE DIDN'T NEED AN IDEOLOGIST. WHY? BECAUSE HE CAN UNSTOPPS. HE DIDN'T NEED A THERAPIST. WHY? BECAUSE HE COULD CAST OUT DEMONS. HE WAS SO VALUABLE. HE COULD SKIP THE INSTITUTIONS. HE COULD SKIP THE STEPS. WHY? BECAUSE HE WAS VALUABLE. IF YOU HAD A WITHER HAND, HE COULD STRETCH IT BACK OUT WITHOUT SURGERY. WHY? BECAUSE HE WAS VALUABLE. He was valuable. He was valuable. Whatever needed to be done, JESUS CAN DO IT. YOU HAD AN OUTREACH. HE didn't need no funding. He can multiply fish and bread and feed thousands of people, 20,000 PEOPLE. WHY? BECAUSE HE HAD VALUE. And why did he have value? Because he had power. He had capacity and ability. He was valuable. And this is what God is going to do when God gets ready to increase your wealth. He increases your value. And the Bible says wealth that's earned quickly or through or get rich schemes, he said the wealth dwindles quickly. If you get wealth fast, you lose it fast. You have athletes and they go pro and they make millions of dollars in five years they're broke. People win the lotto and they get half a billion dollars and in 10 years they go broke. And you're like, "How is it possible for YOU TO GO BROKE AND YOU HAD HALF A BILLION DOLLARS?" I'LL TELL YOU HOW IT'S POSSIBLE. You never was supposed to have it. Why do THE ATHLETE GO BROKE? BECAUSE HE should have never had money. Why does the person that win the lotto go broke? Because they should have never had money. Because the Bible says wealth that's gained little by little sustains. But when it's gained quickly, it disappears. Why does it have to be gained little by little? It's because God gives you a little wealth and he increases your value. He gives you a little wealth and he increases your value. He gives you a little wealth and he increases your value. He gives you a little wealth and increases your value. And what happens is you go bankrupt when you have more wealth than you have value. Oh yeah. WOW. BECAUSE YOU DON'T have the value to hold THE WEALTH. I REMEMBER I USED TO PRAY TO GOD FOR MONEY. And now 15 years removed from those prayers, I'm like, God, that money would have strangled me. Wow. GOD, I WOULD HAVE SQUANDERED IT. I WOULD HAVE WASTED IT BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO MANAGE. Because I didn't know how to invest. Because I didn't know how to use resources. I heard a wise wealthy man once tell me this. He said, "Never give someone an amount of money they never earned." Never give someone an amount of money they never earned. And I've always followed that principle. Sometimes I would be tempted and I would be led, but he said, "Never give someone an amount of money they never earned because you would destroy them." The Bible says wealth is gained little by little. Little by little. There's been times in my life where that hunched me. I'm like, "Man, I want to give someone more." And he's like, "No, no, this is the cut off because this is the management point. This is the multiplying point. This is all they can handle. Because if you never had it, then how can you handle it? Never allow someone to handle something they never had. Why? Because they're going to squander it. And what happens is these athletes, they get money they never had and they lose it. The people that win the lotto, they get money they never had and they lose it because the Bible says wealth gained hastily will disappear. Wow. So, some of you guys sit up and you wish someone wrote you a million dollar check. It'll be gone in a year because you don't have a million dollar infrastructure to uphold a million dollar check. Oh, can we give God a shout of praise? I'm preaching your Bible, too, by the way. I'm just saying. by the way if you didn't know. So God says he gives you the power to get wealth which means instead of praying for wealth, pray for power. And that word power can be interchanged with the with the word value. Why would you pray for wealth without praying for management skills? Why would you pray for wealth without praying for money understanding? Why would you pray for wealth without praying to serve people better? Some of you guys have a business and all you're doing is talking about how you want to sell. I want you to know a business was never designed to sell. It was designed to serve. Don't be a part of a company that you want to sell. Be a part of a company you want to serve. Don't ever do anything where you feel the need to be a salesman or you want to sell. I want to serve. I want to serve this company. I want to serve this organization. I want to serve this business. Why? Because Jesus said, "Whoever wants to be the greatest must be servant OF ALL." IF YOU WANT TO BE GREAT in your occupation, great in your job, great in your business, you have to serve, not sell. You have to serve. Jesus was the greatest man ever because he did the greatest service ever. Jesus was the greatest man ever because he solved the biggest problems of the world. DO YOU KNOW THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF HUMANITY is not technology? It's not self-driving cars. It's not more electric vehicles. It's not more computers and technology and AI and chat GTP. None of those things are the biggest problems of the world. The biggest problem of the world is sin. And Jesus went to the cross and he and he and he AND HE FILLED HIS BODY WITH IT AND HE DIED FOR IT AND he bled for it. He took dominion over sin. HE RESURRECTED AND HE TRIUMPHED over sin. HE SOLVED THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF HUMANITY WHICH makes him the most valuable person that ever lived. Jesus is valuable. HE IS SO VALUABLE that we're in this building. That this whole BUILDING AND ALL THE CHURCHES IN TEXAS, Canada and all the churches across this planet is built in his name because he solved the greatest problem ever and that was sin. There's people that's eating 2,000 years later off of his name because he was so valuable. THERE'S PEOPLE SERVED OF THERE'S PEOPLE THAT'S BEING SERVED because of HIS NAME. KIDS WILL HAVE TOYS because of his name. MARRIAGES ARE RESTORED BECAUSE OF HIS NAME. BLIND EYES are open because of his name. DEAF EARS ARE UNSTOPP BECAUSE OF HIS NAME. THE DEAD WILL RISE AGAIN BECAUSE OF HIS NAME. HE WAS SO VALUABLE. HE TURNED THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN. AND HE'S STILL DOING IT. AND HE'S BEEN GONE FOR 2,000 YEARS. He's valuable. And he was so valuable that he didn't need money. He could skip past it. But the moment he needed money, he could just call a fish and the fish will bring money up to pay taxes. I don't need A JOB. I COMMAND the world. He didn't need the power to get wealth. He was the power of everything.
God has a plan for you. But he he releases it by strengthening your value. What value do you bring to the marketplace? And see the problem is this. The problem with Christianity, and this is why I I think a lot of times people read the New Testament, you're supposed to read the whole Bible because what the Old Testament does really well is the New Testament is the ushering in of the gospel and the ecclesia, which is the church, which is most important. But the Old Testament shows a lot of how people of God are supposed to live, how they're supposed to operate, how they're supposed to think. So what did people of God do before there was a church? They brought the kingdom of God into the earth. Solomon brought the kingdom of God into the earth. David brought the kingdom of God into the earth. God wants to see his kingdom at your job. He wants to see his kingdom in the world. God don't just want his presence to stay in four walls. He wants his presence across the land. Can we give him a shout of praise? Well, I hope you don't think that was my sermon because that was just my introduction. That was free. I'm not going to preach long, but it's going to get real good.
Go to Matthew chapter 14. We're going to preach now. Matthew 14 verse 13. Matthew 14 verse 13. And it reads, "When Jesus heard it, he departed from there by boat to a deserted place by himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed him on foot from the city." Why would you follow this guy? Because he's valuable. And when Jesus went out, he saw a great multitude, and he was moved with compassion for them. And he healed their sick. Look at our God. When it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, "This is the deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away. A multitude is just a big crowd. Send the crowd away that they may go into the village and buy themselves food." But Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat." And they said to him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish." He said, "Bring them here to meet." Then he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he blessed it and broke it and gave the loaves to the disciples. And the disciples gave it to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled. And they took up 12 baskets full of fragments that remained. Now those who had eating were about 5,000 men besides women and children. And this is how many people that Jesus fed.
So, I'm going to kind of break this down to you and kind of show you um and kind of show you how this works a little bit. Jesus went to a deserted place. And when Jesus went to this deserted place, he was just kind of chilling, trying to get away from everything. And then the crowds heard like, "Oh man, that's Jesus." So, they all came and they followed him. And then what did Jesus do? Jesus began healing their sick. He's doing miracles. He's healing their sick. He's he's he's he's being Jesus. He's doing what he always does when he gets around crowds. He he heal, he deliver, he's he's he's he's serving these people. And then it turns into a church service. And some scholars say that this church service was hours and hours. So there's a church service. So Jesus is preaching and he's teaching and he's preaching fire and he's he's being Jesus. So then hours go by and after hours go by, you know, his disciples, they kind of roll up on them, you know, and they're like, "Hey Jesus, uh, see Jesus, WE COULD BE HERE ALL DAY, JESUS." I'm just saying like, "We could be here all day. We ready to go, but uh, they hungry though, you know? So we might need to just end the service a little early so they can get something to eat." Not that we need anything to eat. We did not say we need to eat. They need to eat. They hungry. Our stomachs ain't growling. It's they stomachs that growling. Jesus, we just want you to know, not us, them. So, can we dismiss service? Go and play the altra song. Going to call CJ up here. Let's dismiss so they can get something to eat. And I love your guy. And he looks at them and he said, "You give them something to eat. You feed them." And what I love about Jesus is Jesus is always the answer, but sometimes he will ask you to be the solution. And he said, "You give them something to eat." And imagine Jesus saying the same THING TO YOU. YOU'RE going to do what the disciples did. And they said, "Jesus, we don't have enough to feed them. All we have is five loaves and two fish. These are thousands of people. 5,000 men, which means there's probably like 20,000 people here, including children and women. These are 20,000 people roughly here and you want us to feed them. We can't feed them. We don't have enough Jesus. All we have is five loaves and two fish. And sometimes Jesus tell you to serve them. You to bless them. You to build it. You to do it. And how do YOU RESPOND? JESUS, WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH. JESUS, all I have is THIS IN MY BANK. JESUS, I'M A SINGLE MOM. JESUS, I'M A WIDOW. JESUS, I DON'T HAVE everything that I need. I don't have enough. BUT WHAT YOU GOT TO KNOW IS IF JESUS ASKS YOU TO DO SOMETHING IS PROOF THAT YOU CAN. His command is proof of your capacity. His command is proof OF YOUR CAPACITY. HE WOULD HAVE NEVER GAVE THEM A COMMAND TO DO SOMETHING THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE CAPACITY TO DO. SO IF JESUS CALLED YOU TO DO IT, THAT MEAN HE'S RESOURCED YOU TO DO IT. HE SAID YOU GIVE them something to eat. IN OTHER WORDS, YOU DON'T SEND THEM AWAY. I NEED YOU to feed them. And what YOU GOT TO KNOW IS SOMETIMES JESUS WILL ASK YOU TO meet a need to give you an opportunity to sew a seed. He will ask you to meet a need to give you the opportunity to sew a seed. And I want you to know that JESUS WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU AN opportunity to SEW A SEED. WHY? BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS HE GIVES seed to the sewer. He gives seed to the sewer. Which means that if you are sewer, YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE SEED to sew. BECAUSE HE GIVES SEED TO THE SWER. WHICH MEANS IF YOU DON'T HAVE SEED TO SEW, that means you may not be a swer. Come on. Because he gives seed TO THE SEWER. AND THE PROBLEM IS IT'S NOT THAT YOU DON'T HAVE SEED TO SEW. IT'S THE PROBLEM IS YOU DON'T WANT TO SEW IT. BUT HOW COULD YOU NOT SOW SEED THAT THE savior supplied? Pastor, many of you guys are walking around with seed that the savior supplied and you don't want to sew it. Yes, you have to sew seed. So God is asking you, he's saying, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. I need you to seow seed, but I would never ask you to sew seed if I didn't supply seed." And what you need to see here that is astounding in the text is the book of John says it this way that the disciples didn't only have five loaves and two fish. There was a little boy that brought his lunch that contained five loaves and two fish and the then the disciple Andrew saw it and then him and the disciples went and got it from the boy but slow it down. There is a multitude of people that's hungry. The disciples says send them away. Jesus said you give them something to eat. And at the moment of Jesus saying, "You give them something to eat." A little boy walks on the scene with five loaves and two fish. Which means the little boy came at the RIGHT TIME TO THE RIGHT PLACE WITH THE RIGHT FOOD IN FRONT OF THE RIGHT PEOPLE BECAUSE HE GIVES SEED TO THE SEWER. AND THE MOMENT HE ASKED THEM TO SEW, HE BROUGHT SEED ON THE SCENE. I WANT YOU TO KNOW GOD WOULD NEVER ASK YOU TO SEW SOMETHING WITHOUT FIRST BRINGING SEED ON THE SCENE. HE BROUGHT SEED ON THE SCENE. AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY TOOK THE BOY'S LUNCH AND THEY SAID, "All we have is five loaves and two fish." AND JESUS SAID, "IS THAT ENOUGH TO BE A HARVEST?" AND THEY'RE LIKE, "NO, JESUS." HE SAID, "WELL, THEN IT'S A SEED. It's a seed." AND THE PROBLEM IS MOST people never see a harvest because they DON'T SEW THE SEED. AND MOST PEOPLE DON'T SOW THEIR SEED is because they eat their seed. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THE DISCIPLES WOULD HAVE ATE THE five loaves and two fish? They would have never saw a miracle. BUT INSTEAD OF EATING THE SEED, THEY SOWED THE SEED BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS HE GIVES SEED TO THE SWER, NOT SEED TO THE EATER. MANY OF YOU GUYS AREN'T SERS, YOU'RE EATERS. AND THAT'S WHY SEED never comes on the scene. Wow. He gives seed to the sewer. So they had to have seed. And every miracle that Jesus did, it requires seed. And what DID JESUS SAY? JESUS SAID, "YOU GOT FIVE LOAVES AND two fish." He said, "Bring it to me." Why? Because Jesus will always ask, he will always ask you to bring seed to him. Why? Because when seed is in soil, it produces a harvest. And when seed is in the hand of Jesus, it produces a harvest. So Jesus said, "Bring the seed to me." And the issue with most people, they don't see a harvest is because they eat their seed. I want you to know that God has given you seed. What do you do with seed? The first thing you do with seed is you give it to the kingdom of God. Because God is the God of the universe. Do you know that anybody that's ever done anything successful, there's a part of success that they will call luck. But it's not luck. It's God controlling the uncontrollables. God controlling the uncontrollables. You sew into the kingdom of God because when you do that, God controls the the uncontrollables. And I can teach a whole sermon on that because I studied it. But that's not today's sermon. The second thing is this. Many of your businesses fail is because you starve your company by not sewing into it. In other words, the money you made wasn't your harvest. It was your seed. You were supposed to put it back into that business. But instead you got a new car. Instead you got a new house. Instead you got new clothes and you ate your seed. Oh my god. Most businesses fail not because you don't have a good idea, not because you don't have good work ethic. It's because you eat your seed. If it's not enough to be your harvest, then it's your seed. Um, most organizations fail because they eat their seed. There's a little church and it's 50 people and the pastor riding around in a Mercedes bins and and all decked out with all kind of nice jewelry. YOU JUST ATE YOUR SEED, man of God. You ate your seed. WE PLANTED READY IN CHURCH. I DIDN'T take a salary. WHY? BECAUSE IT WASN'T FOR ME to have a salary. It was seed. It was seed. It was seed. IT WAS SEED. YOUR PRODUCT, YOUR PASSION, that needs to be sewn into with seed. And the problem is you're hurt because you don't have a harvest. And God's hurt because you can't identify your seed. My God. The difference between a harvest and a seed is amount. If it's not enough to be a harvest, then it is a seed. And many of you guys don't know how to distinguish between harvest season and seed season. The Bible says that you devour in the morning so you can divide in the evening. You devour in the morning so you can divide in evening. In other words, he's saying you gather and you sow seed in the morning, then you can divide harvest in the evening. But many of you guys devoured in your you you you you divided in your devouring season. So when it was time TO DIVIDE, YOU DIDN'T have nothing because you devoured and YOU ATE EVERYTHING. GOD NEVER CALLED YOU TO SPLURGE on your seed. You're supposed to sew your seed. YOU DEVOUR IN THE MORNING OF YOUR LIFE SO YOU can divide in the evening of your life. You devour in your early years so you can divide in your later years. But so many times we eat our seed and we find ourselves in the evening part of our life with no harvest. Mad at God. It's st a little bit. I know. So what did Jesus say? What did Jesus say? Jesus said, "You got five loaves and two fish." Jesus said, "Bring it to me. Bring it to me." And I love how Jesus said, "Bring it to me." Because I'm sure Jesus had the power to do this miracle, but he required their seed because he was teaching them what the kingdom of heaven is like. And the kingdom of heaven requires seed for harvest. He even showed you in visitation so you wouldn't miss it. So what did Jesus say? He said, "Bring it to me." And they brought it to Jesus. And what is the first thing Jesus did? The first thing the Bible says, he looked up to heaven and he blessed it. He gave thanks. He looked up to heaven, he blessed it, and he gave thanks. And I just want to ask you a question. I want to pause here in the story. I want to ask, when is the last time you gave God thanks for your seed? When is the last time you gave God thanks for your life? WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU GAVE GOD THANKS for your circumstance? When is the last time you gave God thanks for where you are and what you have? I know this may not be the marriage you want, but when is the last time you thank God for it? I KNOW YOUR KIDS MAY NOT BE BEHAVING HOW YOU WANT, BUT WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU thank God for them? I KNOW THIS CAR ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH TO FULFILL YOUR NEEDS, but when is the last time you thank God for it? I KNOW THIS HOUSE ISN'T BIG ENOUGH FOR YOUR FAMILY, BUT WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU THANK GOD for it? IN OTHER WORDS, YOU HAVE TO STOP AND GIVE THANKS. THE FIRST THING JESUS DID WHEN HE HAD something that wasn't enough is thank God. AND INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING, YOU GOT TO THANK GOD. IF YOU HAD AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE, MAYBE IT WOULD START RELEASING A BLESSING OVER YOUR LIFE AND A HARVEST OVER YOUR LIFE, AN OVERFLOW OVER YOUR LIFE, YOU GOT TO THANK GOD. I KNOW THIS AIN'T WHERE I WANT TO BE, BUT I THANK GOD. I KNOW THIS AIN'T ALL I CAN HAVE, BUT I THANK GOD. I KNOW MY LIFE DON'T LOOK HOW I WANT IT TO LOOK, BUT I THANK GOD. I GIVE THANKS TO GOD. I GIVE PRAISE TO GOD. LORD, I'M SO GRATEFUL. LORD, I'M GRATEFUL THAT I HAVE THE ACTIVITY OF MY LIMBS. I'M GRATEFUL THAT I GOT BREATH IN MY LUNGS. I'M GRATEFUL THAT I GET ANOTHER DAY. I'M GRATEFUL THAT I GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. I'M GRATEFUL I GET TO PREACH THIS GOSPEL. IT MAY NOT BE WHAT I WANT IT TO BE, BUT THANK GOD IT AIN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE. I THANK GOD OR GIVE GOD a praise and a thank you AND WORSHIP AND ADORATION. I THANK GOD. Jesus was modeling a miracle for you. And he says a miracle starts with gratitude. It starts with gratitude. Every miracle JESUS EVER DID, HE STARTED with gratitude. When Lazarus was dead, BEFORE HE EVER CALLED LAZARUS UP, HE STOPPED AND HE GAVE THANKS TO GOD. Before he ever called Lazarus out THE GRAVE, HE STOPPED AND HE GAVE THANKS. And all throughout the Bible, Jesus always stops and he thanks God. They brought the seed to Jesus, the five loaves and two fish, and he held it up to God and he thanked them. He thanked them that he had seed. Thank you, God. Even though it wasn't enough, he thanked him. And then after he thanked him, what did he do? The Bible says he blessed it, then he broke it. And I want you to know, God will bless you, but right after he blesses you, he'll turn around and break you. And some of you guys are like, "I WAS BLESSED, but now I feel broken." I WAS BLESSED, BUT NOW I feel broken. Everything was going good, but now I feel broken. Everything was going the way I wanted it to go, now I feel broken. Because God blesses you, then he breaks you. YES. THAT'S WHY JESUS SAID, "THIS IS MY BODY THAT'S BEEN BROKEN FOR YOU." HE SAYS, "I HAD TO BREAK MY BODY SO I CAN MULTIPLY MY BODY. I COULDN'T MULTIPLY SALVATION UNTIL MY BODY WAS FIRST BROKE." GIDEON HAD A MASSIVE ARMY. AND GOD HAD TO BREAK IT DOWN TO 300 BEFORE HE COULD BRING A VICTORY. BEFORE GOD BRINGS A VICTORY, HE FIRST BRINGS BREAKING. BEFORE THERE'S MULTIPLICATION, THERE'S FIRST A PROCESS CALLED BREAKING. Before salvation could BE MULTIPLIED, JESUS' BODY HAD TO FIRST BE BROKEN. THIS IS MY BODY THAT WAS BROKEN for you. He will bless you, THEN HE WILL BREAK YOU TO PREPARE YOU TO multiply you. Jesus said it this way. He said, "UNLESS A KERNEL OF WHEAT FALLS DOWN TO THE GROUND AND DIE, unless a kernel of wheat falls DOWN TO THE GROUND AND BREAK, IT ABIDES ALONE. BUT IF IT BREAKS IN THE SOIL, IT BRINGS BIRTH, IT BRINGS FORTH MUCH FRUIT." IN OTHER WORDS, IT BRINGS FORTH MUCH HARVEST. JESUS SAID, "I HAD TO FALL INTO THE GROUND BROKEN." SO I CAN RESURRECT WITH A HARVEST. SO I CAN RESURRECT WITH SONS OF GOD AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD AND CHILDREN OF GOD. I HAVE TO BE BROKEN SO I CAN BE MULTIPLIED. God breaks you so he can multiply you. He breaks you to multiply you. And he does the same thing with your finances. He blesses it. He breaks it and then he multiplies it. There's multiplicity coming, but it always comes after breaking. So if you're in a season of
Breaking, no. Multiple is coming. Multiplying is coming. Multiplicity is coming.
>> He blessed it. He broke it. And then he multiplied it.
>> But here's one of the biggest lies ever told about this story. Anytime someone preaches or talks about this story, let me tell you this big lie they take, they, they tell. They say Jesus fed 5,000 men. Jesus fed 5,000 men. You hear a miracle? Yeah. Jesus fed 5,000. Remember when Jesus fed 5,000? Read the story carefully. Jesus did not feed 5,000 men and women and children, maybe 20,000 people. He didn't feed them. The disciples did.

>> Watch the text. He blessed it. He broke it and multiplied it. Then he gave it back to the disciples.
>> And then the Bible says the disciples gave it to the people.
>> Why is this important? It's because Jesus wouldn't violate his own command. He said, "You give them something to eat."
>> I'm the answer, but you're the solution. You give them something to eat. Which means if I don't give it back to you, I gave them something to eat. So Jesus gave it back to the disciples so they could feed the people. You give them something to eat. He gave it back. And I want you to know that Jesus will always give it back to you. You can always give Jesus seed because he will always give it back to you. They gave him five loaves and two fish. They gave him seed. And what does the Bible says? It says, "Give and it will be given to you, pressed down, shaken together and running over into your lap." And now you have a harvest instead of a seed. And now you can meet the needs of the people.
>> This is the kingdom of God. This is what the kingdom is like.
>> And then after they fed all the people, the Bible says there was 12 baskets left. How many disciples were there?
>> What was Jesus prophesying? He was saying,
>> "Oh my gosh,
>> when you meet a need and feed who I ask you to feed, you will never go hungry."
[cheering]
>> You will never go hungry.

But I want you to get the principle. I want you to eat the harvest. Now it's time to eat, not the seed. It wasn't that you didn't have the right idea. It wasn't that you didn't have the right business. It wasn't that you didn't have the right calling. You ate at the wrong time.
>> You ate at the wrong time.
>> You ate your seed.
>> You ate your seed.
>> And how do you know you ate your seed?
>> Because you put it in something that couldn't be multiplied. We can multiply your investment, but we can't multiply your shoe closet.
>> We can multiply your investment, but we can't multiply your vacation.
>> We can multiply your real estate, but we can't multiply your vehicles.
>> You ate your seed.
>> Jesus was teaching us, you know, there was two miracles like this. You know, he fed 5,000 men. Those were Jewish people. But then he was with the Gentiles and he was with another multitude. There was 4,000 men. And the disciples had seven loaves of bread this time. You don't hear about this one much.
>> And then they had fish. And do you know what Jesus did which is staggering? He asked them to bring the seven loaves. Not five this time. Seven. Different story. Same miracle. Seven loaves and a few fish. And then he looked up to heaven. He blessed it. He broke it and he multiplied it again.
>> He did the miracle twice because he wanted to make sure they didn't miss it. He said, "Don't miss the miracle. Don't miss the miracle. Don't miss the miracle." He says, "I want you to know something." He said, "What I want you to know is I want you to know that harvest will always require seed." Come on. Come on. Come on.
>> Harvest will always require seed. He wanted them to not miss it. He said, "I want you to know that the harvest always requires seed." That every time there's a harvest, you're always going to have to bring seed every single time. And this is the thing that you have to know. You can't miss in a text. Everybody talks about the miracle of harvest, but they missed the miracle of seed.
>> I think the greatest miracle that happened that day when he fed the 5,000 men wasn't him multiplying food and feeding the crowd. It was sending the little boy at the right time, to the right place, to the right people with five loaves and two fish. I believe the bigger miracle wasn't the harvest. I believe the bigger miracle was that Jesus brought seed to the sewer.

>> So Jesus was teaching that every miracle requires material.
>> Every miracle
>> requires material.
>> Now this is going to get deep. Let me show it to you prophetically. If you read the Bible, all throughout the Bible, every miracle requires material. Let me show it to you. Um, there's a widow of Zarephath and Elijah came and when he came to her, he told her she only had a couple ingredients left to make a small cake. And Elijah said, "Hey, I need you to cook the cake and give it to the man of God. Come feed me with the cake." And most of you guys would have saw Elijah and would have called him a greedy prophet. Because if there's a widow with just one meal left, why would you go tell her to give it to you?
>> It's because God instructed him to tell her that. Because God was going to do a supernatural miracle and God needed to let her know that he gives a harvest after she gives a seed.
>> Wow.
>> So God says, "I need you to sow a seed." So when she made a cake for the men of God, the Bible says her ingredients never ran out. And she kept making cakes. They never ran out. She had unlimited supply of cake. Why? Because she sowed a seed and she saw a harvest.

>> There was another widow that Elisha came upon and she had only a a small jar of oil. And the prophet said, "Hey, go get go get all the jars from the neighbor. Get all the jars." And literally every she had that little jar of oil. She started pouring and the oil never ran out supernaturally. It kept filling up all the jars of oil until the jars was full. Why? Because she poured her seed.
>> Both miracles when Jesus fed the 5,000 men and the 4,000 men, what did he require? Loaves and fish. Why? Because he was multiplying the seed.
>> All throughout your Bible, when Jesus was going to turn water into wine, what did he say? He said, "Fill up the water pots.
>> I require seed."

>> Come on. Because a miracle requires material. Why does a miracle require material? Because we live in a material world. And if Jesus didn't require material, it wouldn't be a miracle. It would be magic.
>> And magic is witchcraft. And it doesn't come from the Lord.
>> Magic is witchcraft. If Jesus did a miracle for you without your seed, it wouldn't be a miracle. It would be witchcraft. And every single thing in the Bible requires seed. Even the lady with the issue of blood, she touched the hem of his garment.
>> Well, Pastor, how is that seed? How is that seed? The Bible says, "But if you have seed the size of a mustard seed, a

seed the size, faith the size of a mustard seed, I can move mountains. All I need is a mustard seed. But I need a seed. And if you give me a seed, I can move a mountain. Oh, somebody give God a shout of praise

in this place. Oh, give him a shout of praise.

>> If you want to make money,
>> you have to sow seed.
>> And I'm not just up here trying to be self-promoting for the church. Yes, the kingdom of God, that's a given. But into yourself,
>> when the last time you bought a book and read it?
>> When the last time you went and got training?
>> When the last time you took a course to strengthen your skills? When the last time you refined what God has for you? When the last time you updated your equipment, remodeled your building like God has given seed to the sower, but instead of sowing your seed, you keep eating it, mad at God that he won't give you more. A miracle always requires material
>> because without material, a miracle becomes magic and God doesn't do witchcraft.
