What up, guys? Welcome to the Just Pearly Things YouTube channel and welcome to my reaction series.
So, today we're going to talk about how the YouTuber Outdoor Boys recently quit YouTube for his family. Now, that is what the Trads are saying, but from a red pill lens, we all know what happened. A woman nagged him into quitting his dream.

So now I want to talk about why women don't want their husbands to succeed. So I'm going to bring up a picture of him and his wife. So we're going to do this is a little video of him and his wife together.
"Nichols and this is my wife Rebecca Nichols and I'm a professional YouTuber and I've been asked to tell you a little bit about myself and about my faith. So right now I am the host of two YouTube channels uh the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel and the Catfish and Carp YouTube channel. I do outdoor adventure survival videos, fishing videos, that sort of thing. And I've been doing it full-time for about a year and a half now. And I've been doing it for a total of about seven years. Um, I'm originally from Alaska. My family is from Alaska. There's a whole bunch of nickels up there. I lived in Alaska until I was 19."
And okay, so what happens is men will build something really cool, right? And he looks wise, what are we going to give him? One to 10, like a four. I mean, just facially, he's a cool guy, right? So that's going to bring him up. We're going to talk about later. But from a he's not fat, right? But he he's a pretty nonsymmetrical face. Now she I would give like a four. Also a four, maybe a five, right? She looks a little overweight. She looks in better shape than her. So, um, both fours, right? I would say it's about a looks maxed matched couple.
Now what happens is over time and maybe when they met, I would guess she was a point higher. So, let's say if they met young, which a lot of Christian couples might at 22, most women are sixes. Like, most women just start off as cute, you know, cuz even like a four, that's a woman. If she's 20, she's a six. It it just I don't make the rules, but youth just does a lot for for women. You know, I wish it wasn't so because, you know, we all go down as we get older, but it just it's just part of life.
So now women, we know what happens when women be or when men become clouded. Ugly men, you ever see a guy pull like a very ugly celebrity like you know Pete Davidson for example, not a stereotypically super attractive dude, but he's got clout and he's funny. So now he can pull A-list celebrities. He's dated Ariana Grande, Emily Ratikowski, all of these really, you know, hot celebrities. And so what women don't like is when the men, it's a double-edged sword, right? We're never happy, I'd like to say. So this is why you guys got to stop listening to anything we say.
Um, so if you guys don't succeed, we're mad because we want a guy that's successful and hot. That's like our emmo. But if you do succeed and you get too successful and the women start giving you attention, we also get mad. That's why women a lot of times will sabotage the men when they want to go to the gym, lose weight. They're like, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Here's the food, right? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You don't."
So, imagine she's married to this guy who's a four. And when you're married to a guy that's a four, you can make a lot more demands. Like this isn't just he's going to cheat and leave you. He might not. But people act different when they have leverage. And so when they started the relationship, she would have more leverage, you know, because the amount of work he would t have to take, I would guess, right? He would have to take to get a new chick would be a ton of work. where her she could download a dating app tomorrow even as an unattractive not overly cute woman, she's still going to have like 10 of his, you know, looks level to choose from, right? Cuz unless she got really fat during the relationship, if she can get a guy about as good-looking as you, she she can kind of find I mean, it goes both ways to some extent. At some point, women do drop off and maybe it's like 10% less. But you, you know, if she's going one point lower, looks rise or even the same, she can go find another. So, but the difference is for women, it's way easier. That's why we women naturally act like we have options because we do. Men, they don't know their options a lot.
So, anyway, so what happens is a lot of times the men get super successful, right? And the women feel themselves losing the power. So that's when you see the wives wanting to be on camera. They want to attach themselves to the male brand because if she gets the status and the clout from his brand, then she has more power in case this goes south. So if this goes south, then she can ruin his reput. Like if he leaves her for a younger, hotter woman, she can ruin his reputation. She And I'm not saying she would, right? She seems like a nice woman. But I'm I'm just, you know, showing what tends to happen.
So then you get the nagging, right? The women didn't want to hang out with you guys for a decade. Then you start making money and now they need more time with you. This is a manipulation tactic. Yep. She's manipulating you because you're about to get more power and options. Now, men, you guys tend to be better people with the options. I mean, you might you might get like um a Latina thing in a different city like in Miami or go get some blonde bimbo in Vegas, but you're not leaving, right? Women were not as good, but because we're not as good with power, we project that onto the men.
Um, so then, you know, she's got to destroy it obviously. So, I'm going to show you guys what happened. He quit and he said he quit for the sake of his family, but when I watched the video, it just didn't really make sense. So, I'm gonna we're going to watch them a little more to watch their interactions, then we'll keep going.

Then I volunteered to serve a full-time mission for my church. And I was asked to serve in Japan and to learn to speak Japanese. And so I did that for two years every day, all day for two years without almost any breaks. And it was the most amazing experience of my life. After my mission, I went to Brigham Young University where I met Rebecca. Uh Rebecca Yeah. married young. Yeah, that's what I thought. Is from Salt Lake City, Utah. And we met at church. And I've never seen her before. And I thought she was really cute. And all of a sudden, she looked at me and got this like really concerned look and was like avoiding me. But it was too late. Damage was done. I had to ask her out and I did. You know, the rest is history. Turns out her roommate was sitting in front of me making goofy faces at at her and that's why she was smiling at me and then she noticed me and I creeped her out. But it was all good. It worked out at the end. But we've been married 20 years this year. We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.
Exactly what I thought. Right. So, she was a six, right? Young, she was fit, put on a little weight. Now, her husband's becoming an internet celebrity. See, I didn't even I didn't even watch this video. This just came up when I Googled the wife. I'm so good at my job, guys. I just guessed this. I was like, look, six.
Okay, now here is the video he put talking about him quitting. So, let me let me "Hey everyone, this is going to be my last video for a little while. You know, I've been making YouTube videos for 11 years now. First with the Catfishing Carp YouTube channel, then with this, the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel. And believe it or not, I've made 1,110 videos. It's been a wild ride. The amount of time and energy that I've dedicated to making YouTube videos is hard to communicate. So many late nights editing and packing and unpacking, camping with pneumonia, building log cabins while injured. But it's been a tremendous adventure and it's allowed me to provide for my family while making wonderful memories with my wife and kids. But even good things can be taken too far. And I think I'm starting to reach that point. But I'm not just talking about the time and energy I spend making YouTube videos. I'm also talking about the attention it brings. In just the last 18 months, this YouTube channel has gained about 12 million subscribers. And because of people stealing my content and posting it on other platforms, my family and I have been viewed about 4 billion times in addition to the 2.8 billion views on YouTube. The sheer volume of fans trying to contact me, trying to take pictures with me, or just trying to come up and talk to me in public, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. And my wife and I, we both have real."
So there's key number one. Who did he say first? My wife and I. Now what society wants you to do as a man is they always want you to put yourself last. So what the wife is going to do is she's going to nag the guy and say, "Oh, the privacy like I don't I don't like, you know," and she's she's going to guilt the guy about it. and men that are easy to manipulate, they they fall victim to guilt really easily. Okay, so let me "concerns about what this will do to our family if I keep growing my YouTube channel."
Tip translation: Too many hot women are messaging you and giving you attention in public and I don't like it.
"This pace and the time to stop is before this problem gets so out of hand that my family and I can't live normal lives. Now, there's more than one reason for making this decision, and I still enjoy making videos, and I still enjoy going on ventures, but it's time to start focusing on other things, and that's what I'm going to be doing. For one thing, I've got three little boys who all want to be YouTubers, including my oldest son, Tom, who's got his own channel, the Outdoor Tom YouTube channel, but I want to spend more time helping him with his channel."
So, that doesn't really make sense if it's a privacy thing. And now you're gonna put your kids in the spotlight, you know, when there's predators on the To me, it just doesn't make sense. I think the wife made him quit preparing him to be an adult, which is going to be in less than six years, but I've spent so much time focusing on me and my family and growing my..."
Yeah. So, do you see he's trying to frame "I've spent so much time on me that it affected everyone around." Remember, society is trying to get men to focus on everybody else. So, what the wife is going to do is she's going to guilt him for all the hours he spends working, for all the if there's ever an invasion of privacy that happens from his job, even though like the family benefits off of the money, um, they're going to frame it as his fault.
"Business, it's time to step back and focus on helping other people for a change. And I'm excited to see where that takes me. But all that being said, I have a lot of half-finished videos, including the homestead projects and some travel adventures and even some extreme camping trips I've been planning for the last six months. But if I decide to finish those videos or if I decide to film any other adventures after today, I'll post them at the end of the year, all in one big dump. But no matter what, this is going to be my last video for a while. Now, I know there's some of you out there who've gotten more than just entertainment from my videos. Yeah. So, he's pretty much one of the most wholesome YouTubers on the internet. Let me see see what else he's [Music] doing. Red pill. The thing is we've seen this film before. Whenever men start talking like that, it's always the wife. Pretty much always. All right. So, who's next? Let me see. Oh, I wanted to watch the Outdoor Boys YouTuber quits for family. All of the trades. I haven't seen this yet, so I could be wrong, but they're going to frame it as a good thing. But we know on this side of the internet the wife nagged him out of it.
"Husband and father of three has recently retired from the YouTube hustle after having blown up on the platform less than two years ago. Luke Nichols has been posting on YouTube occasionally over the last 10 years. But in the last just 18 months, he gained over 12 million subscribers. He went from being a slow growing hobbyist to a mega channel in mere months. just to get a quick taste of who this individual is that we're gonna be talking about today. Here is just the first 15 seconds from one of the videos that I've watched because I am a fan of his and all survivalist YouTubers. Luke here with the Outdoor Boys YouTube channel and I'm making a knife in the middle of Alaska's wilderness. I'm going to be sleeping in my own shelter, building a forge out in the woods, making my own charcoal kiln and forging a knife."
I'm going to skip to the "Brandon Walker posted and said, 'Today is an awful day for America.' and he had reposted that point. But I'm not just talking about the time and energy I spend making YouTube videos. I'm also talking about the attent"
So I I'm trying to fathom 12 million subscribers. That's insane. 18 months 12 mill. Yeah, just like the channel you stole bit. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm actually I'm I'm trying to fathom that even more right now. A year and a half, 12 million subs. It was one video every two weeks story. I think so at his when he was good with posting. I think that's what what it has been. It's crazy because it's not like he's posting every day or Yeah. No to the 2.8 billion views on a valid concern. Again, a year and a half, 12 million subs. Your life just didn't just sort of change. That's another level of they don't see it. And this is the thing. The conservatives, a lot of them mean well, but they're idiots when it comes to this stuff. They They really are. because they don't they don't see the writing in the wall. Um, he's doing it because the wife guilt nine times out of 10 of stardom especially on YouTube he would be getting recognized all of the time. I'm trying to like what's an equivalent in the YouTube world of people who would know like what's Kai Sonat at and those kind of people. So Kai has 13 million subs. Okay so Kai Sonat if anyone knows who he is in the YouTube world he has 13 million. Again, this guy has 15 million. And Kai freaking almost I thought he almost went to the Met Gala or something like he it was a family vlog for a while. Mostly the ones I've watched are just him out in the forest, but he does also do challenges with his kids. So, it's been this like very wholesome thing for his family, but now it's transformed into a different category again of stardom, but also of what that could do to your family. Now, thankfully, a lot of people online were very receptive to this announcement and yeah, she's going to is she going to am I in I doubt I'm in this. I did tweet it before his next move.
Someone said, "Absolute legend status went out on top and chose to focus on more important things in life. A man chose his family. If that's not American, I don't know what is." And that's what remember this is what society's trying to guilt you into. Give up your dreams for family. Why? What does he get out of it? Right? This is the the question I have. We need more. And the thing is women try to get men to do this and then we hate them when they do. It's like you guys fall. It's a [ __ ] test. It's a [ __ ] test and you guys fall for it every time. She's seeing if you will give up your dreams for her. That's what she's trying to do. She's trying to see if you'll do it and he fell for it. More men fathers like this. Yes, this was what I expected to see. Okay, foreshadowing this changes. Okay, but we'll keep it going with the positive stuff at first.
"Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear fleece and make fires with their kids. Again, a legend. Common man w fame is cool until your kids can't go to school without trending. That is where this starts to change. When your life and you can't go and actually live just a normal life and have that family dynamic which you love and value so much because you've gotten too famous."
It's funny cuz I don't even think he was never trying to become this mega channel. Like he was just posting wholesome videos and 12 million people just showed up. It's awesome but it's also wild. This is huge news for him and his family. It's going to change everything about the way that he's feeling, the way that he is as a family man. Just like if you take Fatty 15, it might just change everything about the way that you're feeling. Like if you're feeling sluggish, crazy at night, watch it and then you can doze off to sleep. It's very nice.
Naturally, there were other miserable people on the internet who were bitter about his exit because their "Oh, please let me be in it. Please. Could not fathom that perhaps a man would willingly step away from his channel at this point." See, do you see the shaming language? If you don't agree with me, you're bitter. I want you guys to pay attention. The way these women nag society is how they nag their boyfriends and husbands. I swear to God in his rise to fame because of his family. They had to believe there was an ulterior motive of some sort. Like his wife apparently [Music] me. He is a slave to his wife's demand.
Someone said, "My wife and I decided I'm too popular. My videos in the woods by myself are too cool to keep doing." This next one is in response to Brandon Walker. "Please let me be in this. Oh, this is gonna be hilarious. Earlier and said, 'Careful BDub homie is stepping away.' I knew."
Do you see the treads are so predictable and that's what I just want you to understand the programming. It's this. You're a bad person. This is what they're trying to say. The morally superior men sacrifice themselves for their family. But as a man, you can't save anybody if you don't save yourself first. Do you know what I mean? Like the equivalent is they'll say the men, but I'm going to use this example. Why the hell did a billionaire drown in the Titanic? Imagine if um Trump and Melania were going down on the Titanic. Who should we give the boat space to? Be honest, guys. [ __ ] you're going to the bottom of the ocean. he can go find a new Melania. You know what I mean? And but this is what they're going to do. They're going to guilt men. And it works. You guys fall for it. Guilt men. And you have to understand, sorry, I'm trying to have a coherent thought here. What they're going to try to do is they guilt men into sacrificing for society for nothing in return. And they will frame things as immoral if you choose not to do that. It's why they frame my as immoral. Um, it's why they call me a degenerate, bitter. They're going to use this shaming language and I tell them to [ __ ] off. I mean, what the hell do you know? Um, and they don't want this information to get out because this is really common. It is so common for a man to be going somewhere and on like a really good path in life and a woman to get in and destroy it. And women, they don't want that information to get out because if that gets out, are you gonna save this hoe? Are you gonna save that hoe? No, you're not gonna do [ __ ] because you want to get And the more they can frame beh frame it as behave how women want. Um, otherwise you're a bad person, the more they're going to do that way because he got too big and he has skeletons. I saw people trying to say his skeletons. There's no skeletons. If there are, one day I'll make another video. But there's no freaking skeletons. Okay. The guy worked in politics at first, then he became attorney for 10 years. He worked in criminal defense. I went on his old criminal defense website. Wholesome wholesome family practice. Just a man having a business.
"Hello, I'm Luke Nichols and..." Nothing crazy. He was in the public eye at that point. Then he goes on to YouTube and he's a YouTuber for multiple multiple years. Yeah, but what gave him the most power in the dating marketplace? Right. He was a public attorney. No problem. You guys have to see through this stuff. He's been famous for again at least two years. There's no skeletons coming out, guys. There's been nothing. But people could not wrap their brains around the fact that this man wanted to step away because of his family.
Now nagging. Now we're going back to the nagging. We're going back. "I can't believe you think that. Like, [ __ ] leave us alone. It had to be because his wife forced him or because he's hiding away from something." Cares if it's one. I do this for a living, dumb [ __ ] Sorry. In the nicest way possible. Probably not that nice. I just called her. But it's how I feel because I've been doing this for years. Years. And I'm like, "No, we've seen this film before." I have. I've seen this film so many times. Wife made him do it that 11. You've been a YouTuber for five minutes. You don't know and you didn't even build it yourself. You just took Brett's ch. Like come on. It's probably going to get him 50 grand just off that 5-minute video. And now all these more people like a bunch more people are now finding about him because of him stepping away. So he's going to make money off that channel for a long time. He's set. Like he's fine. Yeah. As is. He's set. He's going to be continuing making millions of dollars and also gets to spend more time with his family, his kids, and his wife. God forbid. God forbid. But no, the guys online were like, "Well, his wife must have made him do it because no man in his own right mind would do it." No. Maybe a man who loves his kids.
Nagging. See, we're back to it. You guys are bad people. This is what they're implying. You're a bad person because water is wet, the sky is blue, and women have been destroying men's dreams since the beginning of creation.
Fuentes said, "This guy is a super lawyer who started making outdoors content and rapidly gained 15 million subscribers on YouTube and billions of views on TikTok. He says him and his wife decided he should quit so their family can be..."
Yeah. See, she's so stupid. Oh my god, she's just dumb. That's the That's the challenge I have here. And she's dumb because the reason people are saying this is cuz it's common. And as a commentator, [ __ ] your job is to be on the trends. Get better at your job. Uh, you know, I just it just bothers me when women, like it's usually blonde women with microphones think they're an authority on a subject and it's like I've interviewed a thousand people and made it through demonetiz. You just took Brett's channel and you think you know some. Yeah. Um, again, because this is a male experience, right? This is a common male. This is that he's not special, right? And if you really if you're a cultural commentator, which you are, I mean, get better at your job, right? Normal.
"I bet his wife made him do it. Okay. Okay. Now, and that's really easy, right? She's going to do the easy route. And this is how trad uh immoral finger wag nag. That's how it goes. Immoral, degenerate, um, losers, finger wag, nag. That's their cycle. So, an example is the lazy way to do a story is, 'Ah, I can't believe she slept with a thousand men. Don't do that finger wagon, moral degenerate knack.' Okay. So, a way tougher way is to do in-depth interviews with sex workers and ask them why they do it, what kind of backgrounds they are, and talk about the different types of sex workers that you found. And I can tell you, there's some that do it for money, because they're in a bad situation. There's some that do it because they really enjoy having sex and they enjoy pleasing lots of men and they're just never going to be satisfied. Monogamy isn't in them. And you could go way more in depth with that topic than the lazy nag finger wag. It just h it's just lazy content. It's just lazy."
Or maybe they chose as a unit because that's what a marriage does. You you make decisions. Yeah. Now now again she's going to try to make women more important seem more important in marriage than they actually are. But h the woman should have a say. [ __ ] aren't you conservative? You know, they used to have cages that they could put over women's head when they nagged in the 1800s as a family and they chose to step away because their life was going. Do you know what I defended her during the Brett thing? I did. I defended her. I take it back. This is what happens when you give women microphones. It didn't earn it. Getting crazy very quickly. That's very logical that that could have happened again. What is 15 million subscribers? Like we we don't know. He's saying I get You certainly don't know. recognized all the time. My kids get recognized. Like it's becoming into this kind of dangerous weird territory and he wants to step away from that. But okay, 2 plus 2 equals if that were the case, why are you focusing on your kids' YouTube channels? If it was a privacy concern, you would not have your kids on YouTube. Checkmate. Don't believe it. I stand I stand by it. It was the wife and I would debate her on it. She won't because I would just run circles. I really would.
Good for him. It's also coming from a guy and I can't really make this argument because I don't have a wife, but that's also coming from a guy who doesn't have a wife. Doesn't have a wife and children to protect. Yeah. So, the way they're going to phrase it is that you're morally superior and you know more if you get married. Okay. And it's the weakest argument ever because I've met guys that know nothing about women that if anything I would say the number one factor like the number one category of men that know nothing about women is married men. Um, because I mean a lot of them married young and they have no idea what the market's like now. Um, and a lot of them get a divorce like they get blindsided with a divorce and they have this ego. They think they know so much. Um, but again, they're going to moral. So, remember the trades, what they're going to do is they're gonna frame it as they're better people and more moral if you do what's best for women. And that's the fam like women get a family out of marriage. Men take on a responsibility. Men look at it as a responsibility and something they have to do where women really we get a we get a father for our kids. we get lifelong monogamy sort of if if he doesn't cheat. So, okay, it's a whole other animal when you when you bring kids into it, as we talk about on the show all the time, which I'll get into, but the fact that he was getting at all vilified or pretend like he's some beta and can't make his own decisions was appalling to me.
Yeah. And so, and whenever we hit the nail on the head, this is what the women look like. It's like the more they nag, the more I know I'm correct. Also, any beta commentary about a man like this who beta I'll do it again, who can freaking go into the Alaskan wilderness and live there for Yeah. So then, okay, this is what they conflate. So, the way conservatives see it is they think that um alpha and beta is um they think if a guy is alpha at work, that means he's alpha at home. There are men that run companies, right? There are men that order other men around. They're in a very male-dominated field like athletes, very male-dominated field. They're physical, right? But they're the biggest simps on the planet. I I've seen the biggest singing from male athletes. Um, and many are terrified of their wives. Terrified. Um, so it doesn't necessarily mean just because a guy is very competent and good at his job, it does not mean he is the leader in his relationship.
on it by himself. Yeah, she doesn't get it. I mean, she doesn't get it. With nothing but like his bare hands and some wood. Like, shut up. Shut up. This man is like an alpha in every sense of the word. Oh, really? We see the same energy of like Leonardo DiCaprio. Okay. No, no, it cuz remember men can be an alpha in one context because it's contextual. Like a guy that's a guitar teacher, it might not necessarily be an alpha when he's a guitar teacher. But if he lands a lead in the musical, now he's the alpha in that room, but then he goes home to his wife and is a complete [ __ ] and with listens to her every demand and lets her nag him into doing whatever she wants. Now he's a beta. It's not like a guy is alpha all the way or beta all the way. And that's why I love that people love she's got a Here's the problem. I bet she's got a beta boyfriend and she's got to convince him. This is why women hate this information because you know it gives us when you guys know this information it gives us less power. him and have been watching him because he is teaching men a lot of good skills and women but specifically men like this is awesome so shut up.
Another guy, no [ __ ] said he, sorry, I'm feeling sassy today, guys. Won't look back at throwing his lucrative dream job with regret for the rest of his life and his wife definitely won't find something else to about within the month. Wife jacks are the fall of man. The more I saw so much criticism about his wife and we're I'm going to show her in a second because we're going to deep dive this a bit further because it annoyed me because I don't think these people It annoys her. remember it annoys her because she is her when women Yeah. It's because this is a common experience for men. Women do not assist men in building empires. They deter them and if if anything, they stress them out so much that the men get way less done. They do not generally support the men. They destroy in general. I didn't even think I'd do an episode about it because I was sad and I liked the YouTuber, but I didn't think there'd be any controversy until I saw the people were mad that he's giving up his dream for his family. The most noble thing to do. I see. Again, the most noble thing to do is to sacrifice yourself for society. Remember, that's what the the treads are worse. I actually think they're worse than cons than um they're worse than liberals because at least the liberals give men sex with hot women. They're like that's what you get in return. He married his wife nearly 25 years ago whom he met at Brigham Y Young University. They're both college sweethearts because some people online want to vilify the family unit.
