Okay, fantastic. Before we get into lesson number one of the 30-day heroic accelerator, I want you to do a profound exercise that I often offer to the billionaires and titans of industry and the sports legends that I have been blessed to mentor.

Because clarity precedes mastery, and you do not want to spend your days, quarters, years, lifetime climbing mountains that, on the last hour of your last day, you realize they were the wrong ones. Clarity precedes mastery.

So, the tool I want to offer you at the outset, and I want you to work through, is the 24-month vision game sheet. It's on the screen right in front of you now. You have access to it. There must be a link somewhere on the screen in front of you so you can download it and work through it. Let's go through it together.

So, it's called the 24-month vision game sheet. Clarity precedes mastery. And I'm going to do the three-step success formula. It's called the, the three-step success formula. Please forgive my messy writing. [Music]

It's, it's seems so simple, and yet it's very powerful. The three-step success formula is: With better awareness, you will see better choices. With better choices, you will experience better results.

In the Everyday Hero Manifesto, there's the chapter around me eating broccoli. And I've tried to introduce more broccoli in my life because it has this amazing ingredient called sulforaphane that does wonderful things for your biochemistry and your longevity. And then it occurred to me, I don't like the taste of the, the fresh broccoli. Just, it's so huge, and it just didn't really suit my eating style. My, my family didn't like it either.

So the question became, well, if I bought frozen broccoli, it was a bit smaller, and just blanched it or boiled it, would it still have, would still release sulforaphane? And I did some reading, and actually the answer was no. But if I took the frozen, I'm getting to a point here, I promise you. But if I took the frozen broccoli and mixed it with mustard or mustard seeds, sulforaphane would be activated and released. So I get all the benefits from this compound.

Why am I sharing this with you? Why did I share it in the book? Because with better awareness, you can make better choices. With better choices, you will make better results. By reading and studying about broccoli, frozen broccoli, mustard seeds, Dijon mustard, I learned that sulforaphane could be released with the frozen broccoli. Better awareness. With that better awareness, I could make better choices. With better choices, I could see better results.

Right? And that's why investing in your education, investing in your personal growth, investing in your skill, investing in becoming more, in becoming more valuable to the world, is the single best investment an investor could ever make. People invest in real estate, people invest in cryptocurrency, people invest in equities, people invest in bonds, people invest in currencies, looking for a good ROI, return on investment. I will tell you right here, nothing will give you a better ROI than making yourself into the everyday hero you are destined to be.

Because when you become stronger, you do better work. When you become more focused and productive, you lead your field and deliver more value, which makes you more money, because the marketplace rewards value delivered. When you invest in becoming a master of your craft, you become so good at what you do, we can't take our eyes off of you, which means you get paid at rare air levels.

When you invest in your emotional healing, you become kinder. You connect more to people. Your clients fall in love with you. They wouldn't dare about to do business with anyone else. Your family adores you. Your friends think you're the coolest person on the entire planet.

When you invest in your spiritual upgrading, you don't care about yourself as much. I'm not saying you don't protect yourself and love yourself. But when you invest in reconnecting and fostering the primal relationship, which is really the relationship between you and the everyday hero that lurks at your core, because before the layers of doubt, fear, disbelief, trauma, insecurity covered that up. Well, when you reconnect with who you truly are and you feel like an everyday hero, you go out in the world. You don't do it for the money. You do it for the love. You do it for the magic. You do it because you care about the world, and you become a force of nature.

You don't even have to say a word. You're like one of those great leaders who walks into a room, and all eyes go to that great leader. It's because of the energy. It's because you have released the trauma, released the fear, released the sorrow, released the hidden anger, released the shame and the guilt, all that emotional baggage that is suppressed inside so many people's emotional realm. You can't tell me that if you did that work, you wouldn't be a force of nature. Of course you would be. You'd walk into a room, your energy, your vibration would be so high that people would trust you. They would be attracted to you. They would listen to you. They would feel, they would feel safer in your presence.

Could you imagine that level of leadership, that just by your, by your very being and energy, people felt safer around you? Safer to be themselves, safer to give you the love you're giving to them, safer to do amazing work. So I'm very passionate about the material, and I hope you feel my passion from across the video.

The three-step success formula really is: With better awareness of how to be an everyday hero, or how to do great work, or how to become fitter, or how to be a spiritual master, you can start making better choices. Better choices, you're obviously going to see better results. That's the three-step success formula. That's why you want to keep on learning and growing and investing in your, in your growth. And that's why clarity precedes mastery, because transformation is really an exercise in awareness building.

Awareness of, "Oh, that's how the billionaires scale fortunes. Oh, that's how the movement makers serve the world. Oh, that's how the 101-year-old." Remember in the Everyday Hero Manifesto, my mentor, my grade 5 teacher, Cora Greenway, the picture in the book, she was 101. 101 years old. When she was young, she would go beneath enemy lines as a member of the Dutch resistance and take kids who were in threat against the Nazis and bring them to safety. Then she became the history teacher that helped me see things in myself I hadn't seen in myself. And then, I know she went on to do so many other things in the historical society, and she was involved in, I believe, gardening, and she was just an amazing woman, and she lived till 101.

So when we develop the awareness of how these people live, these everyday heroes, or maybe even some of the famous heroes, we can then make better choices every day and see better results. It's stunning to me. We are not taught so much of how to live at our highest level in school. We're not taught about epigenetics. We're not taught about productivity. We're not taught about positive psychology. We're not taught about how to serve the world. We're not taught about spirituality. It falls to us to somehow figure it out. We're not taught about morning routine, pre-sleep ritual. We're not taught how to eat. I'm going to walk you through in an upcoming lesson on the Trinity of Radiant Vitality. We're not taught these things.

I am, as your mentor, very blessed and privileged to be able to walk you through the methodology over the next four weeks, and then for the rest of the year, every week, as part of this course, this premium digital course called The Everyday Hero Manifesto Method.

So let's get right into the exercise I want you to do right after I walk you through it, so you build that awareness that will allow you to make better choices every day for the rest of this month, which will lead you to better results.

Part number one: What are the five strong life changes you want to experience over the next 30 days? Right? It could be, you want to get to a certain level of energy, or a certain level of body mass, or a certain number of steps every day. When I do live events, sometimes I ask people their goals. They say, "Be happier, be fitter, have more money." Those goals don't work because they're not clear. Clarity does precede mastery. Vague goals lead to vague results. Please write that down. Vague goals lead to vague results.

Again, in school, we're not even taught world-class goal setting. So when you form a goal, when you write down the five strong life changes in this area right here on the worksheet, I want you to be precise because then you'll have some accountability. Then you'll have clarity. If you don't know your mountaintop, how are you going to know which mountaintop to climb?

So it could be, "Get to a certain number in terms of your body mass index." It could be, "Wake up at 5:00 AM, 20 days out of the next 30 days." It could be 5:00 AM. It could be, "Fast three times a week." Fast three times a week.

In the Everyday Hero Manifesto, I offer, there's a lot of insights and methodologies and models in the book that are very unorthodox, very contrarian to the dominant thinking of society. And one of them is the five great hours rule. I really believe that working more than five hours a day is a waste of time because it's not really the quantity of hours that you work, it's the quality of what you put into those hours. And so that's why a lot of the great creatives, after three or four hours, they, they just go out mountain biking. Or they go, I talked about one of the, in the great Indian painters, and he said, "I worked for a few hours every day, and then I just loiter." I love that. I just loiter. I just walk around.

Because if you work for five great hours with monomaniacal focus, maximum intensity, in isolation, because here's another bonus tip: one of the key DNAs of genius is isolation. You can be in the world, or you can do world-class work alone. You can't do both. So you might say, number four, for a strong life change over the next 30 days, I'm going to, I'm going to start working only five hours a day. I'm going to set up my workspace so it's zero distraction. No one can interrupt me. No one can call me. There's not going to be any noise, or maybe just country music or a white noise machine. So I work five hours a day, let's say five days a week. Do you know how much more free time you're going to have?

And here's the thing: rest is not a luxury, it's a necessity. Even if it's active rest, like mountain biking or going to an art gallery. So you'll be resting more, which means the five hours that you work are going to be so much more creative, intense, and productive. So you could be saying, "My five great hours rule." And if I'm sure you know another strong five life change you'd make, then I want you to do your big five targets for the next 12 months. Your annual big five targets.

What's the big five? I believe I introduced the big five concept in a book I wrote two decades ago called The Greatness Guide. I was in South Africa, a nation I love very much, and I was on a safari. And the guide said, "Oh, we hope to see the big five." I said, "The big five?" He said, "Yes, that is the lion, I believe, the rhinoceros, I believe, the water buffalo, I believe, the elephant." There's probably one, there's one more. The big five game.

That night, I went back to my hotel room and asked myself this question in front of my journal: What is my lifetime big five? What big five game? The single fi, the, the pure five priorities that I want to build the last, whatever's left of my life around. Sadly, most people don't know their big five. They live their lives like a five-alarm fire. They are reactive. They wake up every day, they drink their coffee, they commute to work, they, they do their busy work, they come home, and there is no, they know have no sense of their five mount everests.

Once you know your big five for your lifetime, the five priorities that are most important to you, and then your big five for the next 12 months, you saw bellow once said, the, the novelist, he said, "A plan relieves you of the torment of choice." You know your five priorities now that must get done for the next 12 months. You will now be a choice to say no to the unimportant. You can focus your days so that every single day is a platform to get you closer to your annual big five. You have something to measure yourself against.

And by the way, having those big five goals gives you enthusiasm. It releases dopamine, that inspirational neurotransmitter, because you have hope. I mean, your big five gives you hope in a time of a lot of complexity, a lot of negativity. I mean, I don't want to watch the news because it's just, there's so many negative things that you could see right now. But if you know your big five, you can use every single day to get you closer to your annual big five.

You can take your big five and rever. This is what I do with my mentoring clients one-on-one. I say, "What's your big five? Your top five priorities that you absolutely must achieve by the end of the next 12 months of our work together?" And they say, "This, this, this, and this." And then I say, "Okay." And I give them a tool, and I say, "Reverse sequence it until today." So literally, they go backwards for 12 months, and they reverse sequence what they must achieve every month to get there, and then every week to get there.

So do your big five, please. Your big five targets for the next 12 months. It could be one could be around health. One could be around saving or your personal fortune. One could be around family experiences and adventures. One could be about your spiritual life. One could be about your personal growth. How many books you're going to read, courses you're going to attend.

Next part of the 24-month vision game sheet: Top five values. What are your values? Sounds simple. Your values are the things that you value. And a heroic life involves you doing you, you running your own race. When I was, I think, 21 years old, my, one of my mentors said, "Robin, run your own race." He was the most amazing person. Everyone else was working. He'd be at noon, he'd be reading magazines in his backyard, sunbathing. The way he structured his life, he just, he thought in such contrarian ways, and he really influenced me.

And so I think it's really important to run your own race. I think it's really important not to be a part of the crowd, and to, to absolutely stray from the herd. And this is why it's difficult, because we are neurobiologically designed to be members of the herd. This is why so few people innovate, so why so few people think for themselves, why so few people feel safe enough to leave the herd to build financial fortunes, or build world-class companies, or to get into their physical lives that are different from most, or to be the most loving person that anyone's ever met. It's because it's so different, and we're tribal.

And in thousands of years ago, when we're on the savannah, if we strayed from the herd, we would starve, we would be killed by a warring tribe, we would run into danger. And so through the, through genetic mutations, through the power of natural selection, there's the chapter in The Everyday Hero about Darwin, we have developed a brain and a neurobiology where we don't stray from the herd. And what I'm suggesting to you is, it's really important not to live someone else's life. It's really important, with all due respect to your mother and father, it's real important not to live your parents' life.

I mean, one of the greatest sources of energy and heroism is saying, "Here are my values," you know, and living those values. So I want you in this place to write your top five values. Could be absolute honesty. Absolute honesty. It could be self-mastery. Could be daily beauty. Could be pushing magic in your work. In a world where so many companies and so many workers push out mediocrity. I was in Soho recently, and I went into an optical store where there were glasses and sunglasses, and I had bought a pair of sunglasses from this store. It was clear that I bought it from there because they sell that brand. And I walked in, and there was one person, and she said, "Oh, I, I don't think I can help you. Really adjust it. Let me get my manager." And then the manager came out, and started literally, the manager went like, "No hello, greeting, or anything." It was just basically like, you know, "Give me the glasses." No, no words of connection or politeness. Played with the glasses, sort of grumpy, whatever. "Here, try these. Put them back." And it just occurred to me, you know, how many people are just so, I think I'm sure he was a good person, but he was so discouraged and checked out and disinvested in his job. And yet he was such a brand vampire because he's representing the company. And that was a chance to wow. It's a chance to make my day a little bit better, just like I have a chance every day to make someone's day better, and so do you.

And so pushing the, the value of pushing daily magic is, is really extraordinary in a world where so few people are masters of their craft. Even no matter what their craft is. They could be someone who is at a line at an airport guiding people onto the plane. So it could be pushing magic. Pushing magic. And for me, a big value is honoring my maker, honoring the force that rules the world. So I don't want to get into religion or, but it's a value for me, which is, you know, honoring my maker.

And then you've got your five main non-negotiables. This is extraordinarily powerful. What are the five non-negotiables for your days? What are your five non-negotiables in your life? Absolutely non-negotiable. Maybe one non-negotiable is you will not lie. Maybe one non-negotiable is you will not put your family second. Maybe one non-negotiable is you will not lie in business. Maybe one non-negotiable is your summer vacation for two months or one month every summer. Maybe one non-negotiable is financial leverage, taking on debt. I don't know what they are, but write those down and start reviewing this every morning over the next 30 days.

Five key life rules. Over life, we all pick up these one-liners or these anecdotes that maybe our parents told us, or maybe mentors or teachers told us. Maybe learned them at a, at a live personal growth event or a leadership event. And we developed these life rules. And sometimes they're subconscious, so we don't even think about them. But I want you to bring them from the subconscious into the conscious realm so that, remember this, the three-step success formula: With better daily awareness, you'll make better daily choices. Better daily choices, better daily results.

I want you to develop some awareness, even more awareness and cognitive acuity around the five life rules that have made you who you are, who you are right now. And then the last thing, let me think in real time. Let me think of some life rules for you. Leave people better than you found them. Another life rule that's important to me: Don't focus on the cost, focus on the return on investment. Another life rule that's important to me: Genius lives in isolation and solitude. Another life rule that's important to me, the one I mentioned by the Quaker missionary: If you have a chance to do something nice for someone, do it. You might not have that chance again.

I was just in Florence yesterday, and there was a gentleman, and, and I didn't know this the first time I came to Italy. I didn't know how to get into the, into the car, the train car. And then I realized, you have to press a button right by the door of the car. And so I noticed he didn't know how to get into the car. So I said, "Oh, you press that right there." And then I realized he was new to Italy. And just before you get into Rome by train, there's, uh, the main train station is Termini, but you also had, we just, we stopped at Tiburtina, which is the smaller train station before you get into Rome. So what I did was, I walked over to him and I said, "You know, I just want to let you know, this is the main Rome station. I didn't want you to get off." This is the smaller one. And he goes, "Oh, yeah, no, I got it. No problem." Whatever. And again, I'm not saying I'm so special. But a key value to me and a key life rule is, if I have a chance to compliment someone sincerely or help someone sincerely, I make sure I do it because I might not have that chance again.

Last part of the 24-month vision game sheet: Powerful tool is your five best rituals. It could be joining the 5 AM club, or being a member of the 5 AM club and running the 20-20-20 formula every day or five days a week. Could be the two massage protocol, 2MP, that I wrote about in The 5 AM Club book. Could be the second win workout, 2W. If you believe that exercise is amazing, why would you only work out twice? Why would you only work out once a day?

Another ritual would be a mastermind every Friday morning, maybe at 6 AM. You go for a walk with someone, talk about the books you're reading, talk about what you're struggling with, champion each other, have some fun, have some laughs, grow together. So, a mastermind. And another ritual might be your pre-sleep regime. Pre-sleep, because sleep is incredibly important. And the key to a strong morning routine is an ironclad, excellent pre-sleep ritual.

That's the 24-month vision game sheet. I'd like you to do it right now. There's a link below. You can print it out or do it digitally. It'll help you going. And then we're going to get into lesson number one of the heroic transformation accelerator, which is the next 30 days to get you to becoming an everyday hero.
