Kind of an interesting way for Star Wars.com to actually announce this by sort of saying, well, not sort of by saying that Rosario Dawson herself has announced that season 2 is releasing. Like this is on the official starwars.com website. So, I mean, what the hell? Ahsoka Tano herself, Rosario Dawson, has announced that season 2 of Star Wars Ahsoka will premiere in early 2027. Think about that for a second, guys. It's almost 4 years. 2023 was when Ahsoka came out. That's 4 years, dude. And I truly do believe like these Disney Plus shows have just completely nuked Star Wars.
They say it's truly special seeing all the love from fans out there for Ahsoka and her crew. Dawson remarked, "I can tell you this season the battles are bigger and the stakes are higher. We cannot wait for you to see." Yeah, you you'd hope so. And with Ahsoka, I really enjoyed the first, I'd say, few episodes. And then I feel like the last few were pretty lackluster, anticlimactic, and really didn't hit home to be very fair. I feel the entire season really put a spotlight on Balon Skull and Shinhhati, and a lot of us were just waiting to see more about their storyline and their character. And less about how Sabine now can magically use the Force, which yeah, absolutely. George says everyone can use the Force. It's like karate. Everyone can train karate, but depends how much work you put into it. And it also depends how genetically gifted you are at it. Case in point, Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
So, there are a few theories that I want to get into that I think could make the show pretty interesting. First and foremost, of course, we're on Paridia. Balen Skull is going to go into what I think is Mortis or at least the mountain where Anakin went into in the Clone Wars and he spoke with the Mortise gods himself. I do also believe that we will see more of the sun, the embodiment of the dark side. I think Sam Witw will probably have a pretty good role as the son and we could potentially get Abaloth in there as well. This could be a show that could really go deep into the EU and bring us into that beautiful world of the extended universe.
As for what Thron is doing with the Nightsisters, he is going to Datamir and they're going to resurrect all of the dead sisters that are there just like the Nightsisters did with Assaj Ventress. They'll most likely put them all in the pool and then have them just resurrected and come back to life just like Assange. Now, this does make it also interesting for Darth Maul because some of the fans out there are saying that well Darth Maul is coming back. There's some leaks or rumors or whatever it might be. I think it's just fan theory to be honest. But I do believe that they definitely could bring Darth Maul back. >> At last we will have revenge. >> Should they? No, >> they shouldn't. They've killed him twice now and I think he should stay dead. As much of a Darth Maul fan as I am. That being said, I could see them being like, "We need Mole and they go and dig him up and bring him there."
And anyways, then there's the dynamic of course Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka making her way back probably with the Pergill cuz Ezra is going to call them. Then of course there is the other aspect of the Jedi Fall in Order games which you guys know that I really love and I had a great time streaming with you. I believe that Calstus and Marin here could have some issues, some conflict because Marin, of course, is super loyal to Datamir and the Nightsisters. And we know that now that they're back and they're going to resurrect everyone, her whole family, she's probably going to want to go there. And this is going to create a major issue with Calstice. And this could be potentially his first liveaction debut, which would be freaking pretty cool.
Beyond that, um, I really do hope that they take less of a focus on Force Sensitive Sabine. I think that that arc was really boring and I think it was just shoehorned in there. I also didn't like the fact that lightsaber wounds mean nothing in the liveaction shows. Seems like they mean something finally in animated shows like what Darth Vader did to Daki. But I just hope that we can carry that back into live action as well and get it be a little more realistic.
Beyond that, man, I mean, I think that we will for sure, and it's been rumored and announced that we'll be getting liveaction Clone Wars of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, Euan McGregor and Hayden Christensen. I think it's pretty cool. For sure bring them back. But at the same time, it kind of needs to be like a why >> why >> why are we bringing them back? What are we doing? How are we doing it? Not just like a oh, cool. Wow. It's, you know, fanervicey, which is freaking I love it. But at the same time, after the emotions are like, okay, that was sweet. What did it do for the story? would it potentially ruin their characters? And that's always kind of what I'm fearful of after, you know, whatever it's been 12, 13 years of Disney Star Wars. So, I'm hoping that it does take beats from how awesome the mall show was. And I really hope it doesn't fall short anywhere or kind of just do stupid decisions or, you know, just jangle keys like it normally would, which, yeah, is very cool to see, but at the same time, uh, it's getting kind of old now, right? It's like in the beginning when Grou was doing his cute little baby thing and causing a ruckus, like it was cute and funny. Now it's just not. See what I'm saying?
So, I'm curious to see what they're going to do with season 2. I hope that it's going to be absolutely banger phenomenal, loyal to the EU, loyal to George Lucas Star Wars, but I guess we'll wait and see. Oh, and also don't make Thron such a complete buffoon like they did in season 1. I mean, this is supposed to be a guy that literally shits on Spock and they just made him a complete idiot. So, that's another thing that they got to really be uh cognizant of. But besides that, um I'm hoping that it's going to be pretty freaking awesome. Oh, and also Ahsoka standing at the foot of the stairs and then not throwing her lightsaber into those zombie stormtroopers, which also absolutely ridiculous, but here we are. I I couldn't leave that one out.
But that's it. That Ahsoka season 2 is delayed until early 2027. It was supposed to come out in 2026. We were expecting it sometime in August, actually. That was what the rumor was saying. So, I imagine it's probably going to come out in March and then the finale could probably be just before Star Wars Celebration cuz they want to hype it up and amp it up. Then you get Star Wars Celebration and we'll probably get the most amount of announcements of games, movies, shows, books, comics, merch, and more that we have ever gotten with Disney Star Wars. I truly do believe that. Say what you will about Dave, but I do think that he will try and push as much content as possible, just like the old days with Lucas Arts and when George Lucas was in charge. So that's what I think that those are all my theories and of course lands on Ahsoka being delayed until early 2027.
I love you guys so much. We're getting really close to Vader episode 2. I'm very excited. So I'll have updates for you guys and I hope to see you at the premiere. Once it is done, then I will be able to lock down a theater. And I hope that won't be like hard to do. But I do have some pretty good sources that are able to to get that happening. So, thanks for your patience and uh see you all at the premiere pretty soon. Love you guys. >> Now, fulfill your destiny.
