I've never heard Professor John Lennox, who's an Oxford mathematician, ever speak on end times. I've never heard him talk about the beast system or 666 or the Antichrist until today. And when I heard it, I couldn't help but think to myself, "Wow, I've been revealed the same thing. I believe the same thing. Is that a coincidence? I don't know. We're reading the same Bible, but it's fascinating how more and more Christians are seeing what's going on in the world with artificial intelligence, with the governments and billionaires and tech billionaires talking about creating an artificial gods. We're seeing it and we're realizing, man, this lines up all too perfect with scripture. So, I'm excited to bring to you what he has to say and talk about it with you. Now, you listen to the book of Revelation written 20 centuries ago. Now, this is imagery. But listen to it. It that is the beast deceives those who dwell on the earth telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Also, it causes all to be marked on the right hand so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark that is the name of the beast and the number of his name. People often laugh at that. But this is the very scenario that will flow out of the current social control AI systems in China. Yep. Which Ted Mark singles out as an example of what might happen in the future. People say, "But this is imagery." But just a minute. They obviously haven't listened to C.S. Lewis. Mhm. Because C.S. Lewis points out that imagery and metaphor always stand for reality. There's always a reality behind them. So, if we ask, "What is this beast?" The book of Revelation gives the answer in the very same context. Let's listen to it. This [snorts] calls for wisdom. Let the one who's understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man and his number is 666. Please notice what it's not saying. It's not telling you who it is. It's telling you what it is. The beast is human. Yep. >> That is the central message of this. You know, historically, people have tried to decode this gematria putting numbers for letters and work out who it is and they've been spectacularly successful. Hitler has been in, Stalin has been in, virtually everybody. But that isn't the point. Because you see, if this human who behaves like a beast is revealed by the power of Satan and controls the whole world, you'll not have to play guessing games with numbers to know who it is. It'll be obvious. >> Right. The 666 will simply be a check. Do we take it seriously? This is the way that Ted Mark starts his book talking about Prometheus. Here we have it in scripture. Why shouldn't we take scripture seriously? Great question, John Lennox. Why Why don't we take scripture more seriously?
Are you noticing what's going on in the world with AI moving on to AGI and ASI where it stops becoming a tool and it starts to becoming a thinking agent on its own making its own rules. It's deciding its own chat prompts to create and build whatever it wants. We've seen this already begin to happen in some weird ways and and that's why the tech billionaires and the people behind Silicon Valley, some of them are sounding the alarm saying, "We're creating an artificial god. We're creating something like we've never seen. We're creating something that we don't think we don't even know if we can control at all." And that's what he's talking about. This is we are in a uncharted territory for humankind. There is coming a day where there's going to be a system that comes out, a fourth kingdom even in Daniel it says, that will crush the entire world. It'll be like a kingdom that's never been ever in the history of the world that domineering. And keep listening to what John Lennox says because he's going to get practical with a country that's already starting this kind of control. And to be honest with you, I've heard I believe it was Larry Ellison who I think he's the founder of Oracle, >> [clears throat] >> one of the top three richest people in the world. He's very powerful. He wants to do the same thing here in America. I see no reason why not to. I see increasing reason to do that. That's the negative side and it clearly is not a very pleasant prospect, although we can see what's happening in our world is moving very rapidly towards it. It is highly credible and it's credible because Paul said to these people, "It's already working in your own society. The Caesars were calling themselves gods and they were insisting that the Christians bow down and worship and many a Christian lost his or her life for refusing to do it." Now, he says, "You watch the trends in your society. This deification of emperors, watch where it goes. This is where it's going to go to." And here are the AGI people telling us exactly the same thing on the basis of our speculations. I think we need to take these texts much more seriously than we've ever done in the past.
But there's good news, you know, because there's a divine upgrade phase two. Phase one is becoming children of God through receiving Christ. Phase two is spectacular because it is a transformation. It's not bioengineering. This is what it is. Flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable and we shall be changed. This mortal must put on immortality. >> Amen. That is a wonderful hope in the midst of all of this. Yes, it is. >> just concluding now come down to balance. Here is a statement of a book that came out just recently, one of the world's top AI researchers. And here's his honest assessment. AI can handle a growing number of non-personal, non-creative routine tasks, but the skills that make us uniquely human are ones that no machine can replicate. The jobs of the future will require creative, compassionate, empathetic leaders who know how to create trust, to build teams, and inspire service, and communicate effectively. So, I would sum up, ladies and gentlemen, by saying firstly that fear of AGI should not prevent people of any worldview making a contribution to the positive aspects of narrow AI [snorts] to the benefit of all. And Rosalind Picard put it this way. We've decided it's more about building a better human-machine combination than it is about building a machine where we will be lucky if it wants us around as a household pet. >> [laughter] >> In the middle of my talk, I went to Genesis. Why do we believe that humans are special? Here's why we believe it. The ultimate affirmation of humanity version 1.0 is the fact that God became one. The word became flesh. >> Yes. And the result of the incarnation, the death of the resu- and the resurrection of Jesus, that instead of speculative hope that one day we can upload the contents of our brains or we can be bioengineered to live forever, we have a sure and certain hope based on the true Homodeus. That to as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God. And we can lift up our heads in confidence for the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable and we shall be changed. This mortal Mhm. must put on immortality. That is the future of the Christian believer, ladies and gentlemen. And it is light years more credible and better than anything speculative AGI has to offer. Thank you very much indeed.
Wow. Now, I thought that he talked about this a little more. I don't know if I clipped it out, but what I was getting at was China has millions of cameras, millions and millions and millions of cameras hooked up to facial recognition artificial intelligence. They're tracking all their systems or all their people, and they have a system of a social credit score that if you don't if you don't say something nice about the CCP, the Communist Party, the political party, if you say anything bad about them online, they're going to restrict your movements, they're going to restrict what you can do, they're going to restrict what job even you can have. It's absolute control over there. You don't have freedom of speech like you have here, at least in America. It's totally different. And I mean this is a pilot for maybe something that could be coming throughout the world. I know that like I said with some of these tech billionaires, they'd be fine with that. We can't afford what's coming. It is coming. There is going to be a beast, a system that's going to rise up out of the sea, and I want to just share with you one thing here from scripture. Yes, we know about the mark of the beast written about in Revelation chapter 13. Yes, he talked about how there's a mark that that the number of the beast is actually 666. So, that's why I say don't remove, you know, receive the mark because the mark is of the beast, and it's 666, so you'll be wearing his name. And if you get that mark, you're cut off from the kingdom. It's game over for you. Well, look at this. Second Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 7. It says, "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he's out of the way." A lot of people interpret that as meaning the Holy Spirit is holding the man of lawlessness back because if if it was up to Satan, if it was up to the devil, the man of lawlessness would already be here, but we already know who's in control. God is in control, and there's going to be someone that opposed himself against every so-called God or object of worship so that he takes his seat in the temple of God proclaiming himself to be God. There's going to be a man of lawlessness, the man of sin. It's going to be kind of like having a Satan who he's a spiritual he's he's an angelic being, but there's going to be a physical human representation of him on earth. That's what it sounds like. I'm not saying I know for sure, but this is what John Lennox is saying, this is what a lot of theologians believe, a lot of scholars believe. It seems to be the case, and this person is going to have access to power like AI or the UFO UAP technology. It's coming, but it's not coming until the restrainer's out of the way.
But, I love how he finished about how we are going to be putting on immortality in a twinkling in of an eye. We don't have to be afraid. As he said in the beginning, we need to take scripture more seriously. Jesus really did come to fight the rulers and principalities of darkness in the heavenly realms. We are in a spiritual war. We are in a fight. We're not here to just play fun and games and go to church on Sundays and feel good about ourselves. I was just talking with some friends about how it seems to me Christianity in a lot of circles is just a way to go to conference to conference to have some emotional high and feel good and and cry a little bit, and then literally it fades away in a day. There's no fruit, no obedience, no witness for Jesus, no life change. You're still angry, still bitter, still fighting. Relationships are ruined. It's time to get real. It's time to read the word. It's time to fall in love with Jesus. It's time to know how much he loves you. It's time to know what your future's like that he loves you. He's called you a child of God, a daughter of God, a son of God. And one day you're going to be made brand new, but only those who are his. He knows if you are his or not. He knows if you're serious about your faith or not. I read Bonhoeffer the other day. Man, it's such a amazing amazing book. It's um it's called the cost of discipleship. It is powerful. And he said that only those who truly believe will obey, and only those who obey obey truly believe. So, if you truly believe this, you will obey. And if you obey, that means that you truly believe. But, if you don't, you need to search your heart. Go to the Lord and ask him to transform you. He's calling you. He's calling all of us to pray and seek his face, repent from our sins, and turn to Jesus. I hope you do. I hope we all do. I hope there's a great awakening. That's what I'm praying for. That's what we're believing in. That's what we're working with with United Revive and also this work here at Truth Be Told. I'm just here speaking the truth from scripture the best that I know to hopefully inspire some of us, some of our believers, some of my brothers and sisters who are equal with me. You know, we're all on this day we're literally equal. We're humble before one another, part of one body. So, that wherever you are, you're going to get on fire for Jesus.
