Hey y'all, let's install some cabinets today. After fixing the drywall and the plumbing, it was time to put in the new cabinets for the kitchen.
To get these off the concrete, we put a piece of OSB underneath. And it's good practice to put one behind, but we forgot. Yikes! I say this because you're supposed to screw the cabinets into studs, but sometimes they don't always line up. So when you put a piece of OSB behind it, it helps.
After I screwed all the cabinets into the wall and screwed them together and made sure all the doors were on the right side, we put the countertop on top. I always like to dry fit everything just to make sure everything works here. My brother is cutting out the hole for the sink.
We couldn't actually attach anything because we were still waiting on a baby cabinet on the end to come in, which took about a month. Everything you see here is actually purchased from Home Depot. These items are super easy to order if you use the app.
