Why Narcissists Choose You?

Here's the thing. Narcissists don't choose random victims. They choose the best ones.

So, your ability to see good in people, that's actually a reason why they choose you. Because you make excuses for them longer than anybody else will. Your desire to help and fix, that's why they stayed. Because you keep trying long after you should have walked away.

This is the sad truth. The traits that make you a good person are the exact same traits that make you a perfect target. They were not attracted to you despite your kindness. They were attracted to you because of it.
