This is my surrender. Every Whatever you want. Every This is my >> Praise the Lord, everybody. Welcome to Christian Life Center.
In 1 Peter 5 and 7, the Bible says, "Casting all of your care upon him, for he careth for you." Many times we come to the house of the Lord with things in our heart, things in our spirit that distract us from Him. But the Bible says we can just cast all of our care upon Him. Everything that burdens us, everything that weighs us down, we can just throw it right on His shoulders because the Bible says He cares for us. Is anybody thankful for a heavenly Father that cares for us? I don't know about you, but I need His presence more than I need the worries in this world. Won't we just get our mind just fixed right on Him today?
Let's pray together right now. In Jesus' name, I pray, Lord, uh, that You would take all of my care, that You would take all of my worry, uh, that You would take all of my burden. Lord, we cast it upon You today. Uh, Lord, I thank You for caring for us. I thank You that You have the number of our hairs numbered. Uh, Lord Jesus, that You provide for us, that You care for us, that You love us, God. We don't want to come into Your house distracted, but Lord, let our focus be upon You. Uh, let our attention be upon You. Uh, Lord, we have come here to worship You. We have come here to enter into the presence of the Lord. Uh, Lord, nothing in this world could compare to You. [music] Uh, nothing in this world can compare to Your greatness and to Your glory. Uh, God, we enter into Your gates with thanksgiving and into Your courts with praise. Uh, I pray that You would help me to leave different out of Your house, uh, than the way that I walked in. And I want to leave with something new. Uh, I want to leave with something fresh. Uh, I want to leave with a fresh touch of heaven. Uh, in the name of Jesus, we give You the glory. Won't You just praise the Lord with us? Let's magnify the name of Jesus. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and everything that is within me. Hallelujah. Let's continue to praise Him. >> Thank you, Jesus. >> Hallelujah. How many know that we have the joy of the Lord in this place this morning? Why don't [music] you just lift up your hands and begin to call on the name of the Lord right now? We praise You, Jesus.

[singing] I'm trading [music] my shame. [singing] I'm laying it down [music] for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading [music] my sickness. I'm trading my pain. [music and singing] I'm laying it down. The joy of the Lord. [music] >> I'm traing [music and singing] my sorrow. >> Oh, I'm trading my >> I'm traing my shame. >> I'm going to lay it all down. The joy of [music] the Lord is my [music] hallelujah. We praise You Jesus for the joy. >> [music] >> There is revival right here and now. [singing] There is a fresh wind and I can hear the sound. Something truly wonderful is happening. And there is a difference. Can you testify inside of me? It's more than a feeling. But this is a prophecy. Something really [singing] wonderful [music] is happening. [music] Hey [music] [singing] my way out of yesterday. I got a new thing [music and singing] coming. Tell this giant in my face. You're not greater than my [music and singing] caring me. >> I got a new thing coming. I [music] got a new thing coming. >> I got a new thing coming. [singing] >> New thing coming. Say, "I can hear." >> I can hear it. >> Would you join us? It sounds [music] free. It's our way. Are [music] you here this morning? [singing] And it's time. [music] [music] [music] Heat. Heat. I got my [singing] [music] power. [music] I got you. [music] coming. [music] [music] I got a new coming. Got a new thing coming. [music] I can hear it sound with the rain [music] and it looks like revival is headed. [music] Heat. Heat. [music] Heat. Heat. [music] >> [music] [cheering and applause] >> Thank you, Jesus. Do you feel the Holy Ghost moving as they're singing these words? Me and Sister Kiara Sanchez, God put a burden on my heart to start a Bible study in Daytona and Orman Beach. And the day that I felt to do this, God gave me a word at Tuesday night prayer. [music] It's in Psalms chapter 126. "When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then said they among the heathen, 'The Lord hath done great things for them.' And the Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, oh Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, BEARING PRECIOUS SEED, SHALL DOUBTLESS COME AGAIN with rejoicing, bringing sheav [music] with him." We went and evangelized yesterday at the Bible study park. We handed out over a hundred flyers to different homes and apartment complexes. We have flyers put out at my doctor's office. And I WANT TO TELL YOU WHEN the Lord gave me this, and I know not everybody knows all the details, but when we had our miscarriages and we lost our babies, they are buried in Orman Beach. And I gave birth to them in Daytona. And as I read this, the Lord said that the precious SEED THAT HAS GONE FORTH THAT YOU SOWED IN TEARS, YOU ARE GOING TO BRING FORTH A JOY. THERE'S GOING TO BE A REAPING OF A HARVEST. I WANT TO TELL YOU AS WE'RE SINGING THIS SONG. I'M PROCLAIMING, I SEE A CLOUD. I SEE A CLOUD. THERE IS REVIVAL. THERE IS REVIVAL FOR DAYTONA, [music] for Orman Beach, for this region. Can we believe AND BEGIN TO PROCLAIM THAT WE'RE GOING TO SEE REVIVAL? [music] [screaming] OH, [music] IT'S COMING. IT'S COMING OUR WAY. It's here. I PROCLAIM REVIVAL IN PALM COAST, IN ST. AUGUSTINE, IN DAYTONA, IN ORMAN BEACH, [music] in Tres City. [screaming] OH, IT'S COMING. DO YOU HEAR IT? DO YOU HEAR THE SOUND? [music] [music] HEAT. HEAT. [music] [music] HEAT. HEAT. [music] [music] HEAT. HEAT. [music] >> [music] >> HEAT. HEAT. [music] [singing] HEAT. HEAT. [music and singing] [music] It's headed your way. It's heading our [music] way. It's our way. It's headed our way. [singing] You believe in faith. >> It's heading our way. [music] >> It's heading my way. >> It's our way. >> It's headed my way. Stay away. [music] >> [music] [music] >> lifted hands and lifted voices in this place. Begin to pull down the revival that's hanging over this this region. God is going to come into my neighborhood. Lord, we're going to have the revival. God, we're going to see a great harvest in this end time. Uh, Lord, we're going to see souls saved by the thousands, God. Oh, cities turned upside down, Lord. His entire reason changed. UH, LORD, THIS ENTIRE REASON CHANGED. UH, GOD, IT'S COMING OUR WAY. UH, OH, IT'S COMING OUR WAY. GOD IS COMING OUR WAY. GOD IS COMING OUR WAY. [music] [music] >> [cheering] >> HALLELUJAH. >> You know, it excites me because it says, uh, begin to tell your brothers that Jesus is coming soon. He's coming and make [music] him lift them up with it. Why? Because it tell it's in the Bible. It says that in the end time when we see the world that looks like Noah and all this stuff is taking place, there's a harvest coming. There's a revival that's right there. We are a part of the greatest revival that we are ever going to see in our entire lifetime. It should excite you that you're going to be the one that fills a pew, that you're going to be the one that saves hundreds. It should excite you that it'll be through your handshifted. It'll be through your voice uh that families are altered forever. It'll be through us, God. Thank You, Lord, for trusting US WITH THE REVIVAL. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR TRUSTING US WITH THIS HARVEST THAT you have given us. God is good. Like to welcome you to Christian Life Center on a Sunday morning. Especially to our first time guests, a big big welcome from us. Uh, as we make our way back to our seats, you may be seated. If you did not receive a welcome home card when you walked in through the door, you can scan a QR code on the screen. Just a way for us to connect with you outside of these four walls and get you plugged into this amazing church. Um, we're going to jump straight into our announcements, which is every Tuesday at 6 PM starts our growth nights. Uh, this starts our community prayer, which [music] is just a powerful move of God that takes place. We are a church that prays and when we gather together, power falls and God falls in this place. Um, immediately following our community prayer, we break out into our growth classes that take place at 7:00 p.m. Um, we usually have CLU 101, 201, and Elevate classes as well. But for the rest of this month, we put a pause on it for our business classes that are taking place. And I'm sad that I haven't been able to make it because of work, but I've heard such amazing things about him. And I am jealous that I have missed it because I heard Brother Silva did an amazing job and that a lot of these people that have spoken have done such an amazing job. Um, and if you're wondering what CLU is, this is a way to get plugged in. Our growth nights, um, it's a way to get plugged in and get used mightily by God. Uh, just show up, join, come to these, get involved, get plugged in, and watch what God will do. Uh, next announcement is our Acts Evangelism takes place every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Um, we meet here at the church. ACT stands for Actively Connecting to Someone. So, old school door knocking, interrupting somebody's life to to let them meet God. Um, so show come up, show even if you're introverted, even if you're extroverted. Introverts learn from the extroverts as they make mistakes and you say, "I will not do what they did." But plug in with somebody, [music] come two by two. Jesus sent them out two by two. So you may say, "I'm shy or quiet and I can't do it." But find somebody like a Kyrie and say, "You know what? You knock and I'll learn from you." So come to this cuz God will use you in a mighty way. [music] Um, every Saturday or pick a one Saturday a month, show up. You can register or just meet us here in the sanctuary. Uh, our food bank is taking place uh, next Saturday at 10:00 a.m. If you were not here, our food bank was amazing. We had an amazing turnout. I believe 60-something families came and we were able to serve the community. There's nothing like serving people. That brings joy. You're tired, but it feels so rewarding and refreshing when you see people who are so thankful, who are needing it, and you're like, "It was worth it." Uh, we almost lost Pastor Alex off of the food truck. Kind of scary. He almost fell off. He's super athletic. I don't know how he did it. I would have been hurt for a year. Um, but there were some amazing things that took place. There was laughing. There was fun. We were choking. We met some people. I was inside of people's cars who I did not know. Um, so God has moved. God didn't move in a mighty way. And I believe that we touched those people and they're going to be in this church in Jesus' name. Amen. >> Uh, the next event is our Ladies Tea Party, which takes place this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Excuse me. Ages 12 and up are welcome to come. Uh, all can come to it. If you want your kids to come, as Jessica has said, there is no childcare, so you are responsible for them because there's expensive teacups and plates and whatever else is at a tea party. Um, so make sure that that you're taking care of them and watching them. Um, also make sure that you register and invite people to this event so that they make sure they have enough stuff for everybody. Um, the next one or the last announcement is our Pastoral Celebration, takes place tonight at 6 p.m. If you love your pastoral family, 7 years, 7 years. So, come casual. Um, am I I don't think I'm allowed to say to that, but come casual. We're celebrating seven years of them and what God has been doing and what God is going to do and continue to do. So come to this um as we let us stand as we give the opportunity to worship God through our giving. Uh, there is four ways to give. There's a Tithely app, to give envelope in the offering plate, in the kiosk located out in our lobby as well. Uh, if you're not standing, let us stand as we get ready to read our offering decree together as the ushers get prepared. And it says, "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee, and the light shall shine upon thine ways. I am a cheerful giver. Today I bring Your tithe and my offering to put into Your storehouse. I also give my faith and action offering according to the pledge I made to You. Therefore, the enemy is rebuked, and every curse is broken. Upon the authority of Your word, I have given and it shall be given unto me pressed down, shaken together, and running over. You will pour upon me such blessings that there is not room enough to receive. I receive Your blessings in my family, finances, body, and spirit. All that I do will prosper according to Your word in Jesus' name. Amen. >> Uh, after you begin to give, let us fellowship one to another. Come on. You already have it. Heat. Heat. Hey, relax. Praise the Lord, everybody. Everybody glad to be in the house of the Lord this morning? Amen. Amen. Amen. I uh I wanted to come up and say say something about the food bank. Number one, if you were you can have a seat for just a moment. If you were a part of the food bank yesterday, would you stand to your feet for just a moment? I want to say a big thank you to every single person that was able to make it last yesterday. [applause] What an amazing time. You can be seated. A big thank you to Sister Michelle who has been organizing this whole thing. >> [applause] >> She's going to be mad at us for calling her out, but give honor where honor is due. Um, she made it happen. Uh, she even shared with me just before that, uh, Sunny, the lady who actually runs the entire program, had mentioned and said, you know, I can't believe this is the first time you guys are actually doing this distribution. Uh, every time we've [music] done a first-time distribution, it's been a train wreck. And, um, but it's just gone so smoothly. We were on time. Everything was just happening the way that it should happen. Yes, I almost lost my life. But it's okay. I It was a joke. I didn't I didn't almost lose my life. Sister Michelle made sure everybody knew it was because I was not listening to her. Um, learned my lesson. But, uh, no, we had such an awesome time. There was actually 99 families that were affected just in that span of a few hours. That's a total. There was a total of 355 people that were touched because of what were what was done yesterday. [applause] And so what we're trying to do is I I just want to put it in perspective to let you know we've been reaching every single Saturday uh ever since we've started Acts Evangelism and we've been pushing to to reach this city. It's like God just opened up a door to let the city come to us as well. >> Amen. And so what we're doing is one Saturday out of the month, it will be it it's not yet. We still have to kind of because we're new, we're getting into the schedule, but eventually it will just be the first Saturday of every single month. We'll be the food bank. And um, and what we did is we got here at 8:00 a.m. and uh, we were just ready to work. Uh, we started distributing, I think at 11. And um, it just went so smoothly from there. I think by the end of it, it's just like all the cars just go through and it it happens so fast. But um, I just want to encourage you if you there were so many people who can't always come to Acts Evangelism every Saturday, but they were able to come yesterday to the food bank, whether it was helping bag food, uh, helping put produce in [music] a food. We do this all the time when we go to Publix anyway. Um, and there was people just organizing tables, putting things together. There's so much to do. And so, I want to encourage you if you've not been able to go to Acts Evangelism, this is also an amazing opportunity to get involved with what God is doing because we're reaching this community in a whole another way. This I'm telling you, this was a this was actually a small distribution because it was our first time. Um, but there's 150 families that will be affected at the very least, if not more, um, as we get this thing going. So, we want to encourage everybody, please be a part. That being said, next Saturday, everybody say, "Next Saturday." >> You have another opportunity. Uh, because of the schedule and us being a new distribution, we are doing it next Saturday again as well. It won't always be the case. Um, so we're asking for those that are able uh to be here at any point Saturday between 8:00 am and about 1:00 p.m. um to help. We have and even if you can't come until later, you can help us clean up afterwards and [music] get everything uh the parking lot, everything ready. So, we just want to let everybody know we need all hands on deck. There'll be a few people that are out of town. And so anybody that that is able to come, uh, please see Sister Michelle. You can see myself and we'll get you plugged in. But it's an awesome opportunity for for reaching this community. Amen. Amen. How many want to see this this community reached? I'm telling you, there there's a whole people out there that are waiting to hear that there's a church that's ready to serve, that's ready to pray. We had our ask me for prayer shirts on. We had a we have a prayer booth that we sent out or set up on the side there so that people as they're waiting have a place where we can pray. There's so much opportunity to reach the lost and this is just an awesome awesome time for you to be a part. Amen. If you believe God is going to do something good, something great through CLC through this, would you stand to your feet and worship with us and praise the Lord for what He's already doing in Jesus' name. >> I'll be quick. You can be seated if you want or stand up. It won't be too long. Um, two quick things. The tea party on this Saturday, I think Brother Marqueis needs glasses. So, if somebody wants to help him, go get those checked. It wasn't 1:00 p.m., it [music] is 3:00 p.m. So, I just wanted to make sure because I know it's happening this weekend. So, that'll give us time from the food bank um that there won't be any overflow. So, at 3 pm in the fellowship hall, um I'm really asking for any ladies that have not registered yet. Please, um get your phones, do the QR code. It's in the lobby. Register today so that we can make sure we have enough food and seating uh ready for all of our ladies. If you're bringing guests, register for them. If you're bringing your daughters, [music] make sure they're registered in that count so that we get everybody in there. Remember, there's three prizes. If you have the best hat, you get a prize. Uh, we're going to be doing two categories of food. Best dessert and best appetizer. So we want you to bring your amazing food and then we're going to be voting on it and there's going to be uh giveaways and gifts that we do for that. Um, it's going to be a wonderful time of fellowship. So make sure you register. It's a free event. Um, so it's going to be a blessing to our ladies. The other thing is tomorrow if we have the Mom's Bible Study. I don't know if we have that up there or not, but if you do get it, uh, tomorrow night at 6 PM we are meeting at the James Park. It's there's a little splash pad and a little playground and baseball fields. It's going to be in Daytona. If you live or know of somebody that is around the Daytona area, please get them in contact with me and I will be happy to give them all the information. We are going to have a popsicle party. There's crafts, a Bible study, snacks for the the children and the moms. And we just want to bless and we believe that God's going to move in Daytona. Amen. >> If you want to be a part of it, and maybe you don't live in the area, just come see me. And we'd be happy to have some extra moms, even from the Palm Coast area, [music] come join us tomorrow night at six o'clock. God bless. Somebody just begin to lift Him up right now. Let's fill this place with worship. You're worthy of the glory, Jesus. You're worthy of the praise. Hallelujah. I am free [singing] because [music] You said I am free and I am [singing] free no matter how I feel, no matter what I see. Your word [music] is my authority in every season [singing] of life. So as for me [music] and my house, we're going to be free. So I [music and singing] will stand up and fight for my freedom. I will stand up and take [music and singing] what belongs to me. And I will worship in my situation. I will [music] lift my [singing] hands, lift my voice, declare I am free. [music] As for [singing] me, my house. As for me, my [music] house. As for [singing] me, my house, we're going to [music] be free. As for me, [singing] my house. As for [music] me in my house, as for [singing] me in my house, we're going to [music] be a dream. I am free because You [singing] said [music] I am free. I am free. [singing] No matter how I feel, [music] no matter what I see, >> Your word, >> Your word is [singing] my authority. No matter what I'm going through, >> show [music] us from me in my house in my house. >> We're going to be free. [music and singing] >> So I choose to stand up >> and take what my freedom [music] >> I will stand up. >> I [singing] will stand up and take what belongs [music] to me. >> I choose [singing] to worship. >> I will worship >> my situation. situation. I lift [music] my hand. My voice [singing] for me in my [music] house. Ask for [singing] me in my house. You declare [music] for me in my house. You're going to be free. You're going to be free. >> Ask for me. >> Ask for me in my [music] house. As for me and my house, as [music] for me and my house, we're going to be free. I declare [music and singing] freedom for my family. I declare freedom for my home. I declare [music] [singing] for my daughter. I declare real Iare what I feel [music] what I see. I declare every [singing] chain is broken. [music] We're going to be free. I [singing] for I [music] for [music] myself [singing] I don't want to [music] be [singing] what I see. I chain broke. We're going to be free. [music] I love [music] I [music] see. >> I [music and singing] We're going to be free. We're going to be free. [music] We're going to [singing] be free. We're going to be free. We're going to be [music] free. >> My house will be free in the name of Jesus. >> We're going to be [music] free. Free indeed. Hallelujah. We're going to be [music] free. Hallelujah. >> [music] >> Why don't we thank the Lord for the freedom of the Holy Ghost right now? Come on. If you've ever experienced chains [music] breaking in your life, let's worship Him for it. Hallelujah. Thank You for the freedom. He that the Son hath set free is free indeed. We bless Your [music] name. We bless Your name. We bless Your name. Praise God. You can return to your seats. I'm going to [music] read some scriptures if you can remain standing for another minute. I do want to thank God for everything that's happening at this church. What great doors that are opening for the furthering of the kingdom of God. Amen. We're so thankful [music] for that. And I'm so thankful for saints that are willing to obey that inescapable command to go you therefore and uh feel like God's blessing us and bringing such a group here. Um, so thank you to everyone involved with that epic Acts Saturday. Acts stands for Actively Connecting to Someone. And so it's really cool because on Saturdays we have stuff going on at St. Augustine. We got people connecting here at the church. We got people uh now in Daytona and Orman. And there's so many opportunities to reach out and flex that Holy Ghost muscle and be witnesses. Amen. >> Amen. Second Corinthians chapter 7 verse 9. Um, we got back last night from the prayer conference in South Dakota. I do want to say thank you to everyone that prayed for me and Benji. I feel the prayers and I appreciate uh the texts and the the love. Thank you, Jesus. We had a Holy Ghost time. I did damage Mark Brown's car. Uh, but uh, he has released me from guilt and uh, I repented greatly, but the the damage is there. But he has cut me down for years and so it's time to pay back. And I know he's going to probably watch this. 2 Corinthians chapter 7 and verse 9. "Now I rejoice not that you were made sorry, but that you sorrowed to repentance. Everybody say, sorrow to repentance. For you were made sorry after a godly manner, that you might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh [music] repentance. It worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of. But the sorrow of the world worketh death. For behold, the self-same thing that you sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you. Yay, what clearing of yourselves. Yay, what indignation. Yay, what fear. Yay, what vehement desire. Yay, what zeal. Yay, what revenge. In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. Wherefore though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong. I'm not retaliating against this instance, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you." I want to talk today on one of my favorite topics, the radical role of repentance. The radical role of repentance. I apologize for the lighting. We're having malfunctions. The devil is in the electronics and uh we're trying to pray him out and work him out. So y'all pray with us about that. Let's ask God to have His way. Father, we love You. Thank You for the privilege of being in Your presence. In the presence of the Lord, there is the fullness of joy. At Your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore. I pray that Your presence would come upon every heart and mind. That we would leave forever changed by the power of Your word. In Jesus' name we pray. And everybody say, "In Jesus' name." Turn to someone and tell them you love them. And you may be seated in Jesus' name. Has anybody here ever experienced the power of repentance? It's pretty common concept in Christianity. It's mentioned about 80 times in the New Testament. The message of John Matthew 3:2 was, "Repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." And then Mark 1:15 tells us that when Jesus started preaching, He said, "The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent ye and believe the gospel." The introduction of the ministries of both John and Jesus were focused on repentance. And I believe most Christians, most saints of God, especially those that are experienced in their walk with God, realize and understand that repentance is a requirement for salvation. You have to repent of your sins. Uh, that God can justify or forgive you of those sins. The first message at the birth of the church. This is kind of our scriptural banners as Pentecostals. Acts 2:38. That's our favorite scripture in the Bible. It's the opening line of the birth of the church. Then Peter said unto them, everybody say, "Repent." >> First thing you got to do if you're going to be in the kingdom is you got to repent. and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And so we understand the power of repentance. The sinner must repent to be saved. I I'm a sinner saved by grace. I'm a sinner that's been washed in the blood. I'm not better than anybody. I'm just better off than I used to be. >> We're not here to promote our betterness. We're here to promote what makes us >> justified and cleansed. Paul said, "Such were some of you." And he gave a list of nasty stuff. >> Such was some of us, but we've been washed. We've repented. Anybody here still thankful you found that place of [music] repentance? God forgave you. I I imagine there's all kinds of levels in this room of of different sins. Maybe one day we can sit down at dinner and talk about the terrible sins we've all committed and God has loosed us. I'm kidding about that. But but man, God set us free from some stuff. There's a lot of ex stuff in this room right now. There's a lot of ex addicts and a lot of ex Come on. We can't get so spiritual that we become professional Pentecostals and forget where Jesus brought us from. We're just a bunch of dirty rank sinners saved by the grace of Jesus Christ. I want to let you know today that I repent on a daily basis. >> And you should too. >> I so far I haven't reached the end of my flesh. >> Every day I wake up, I find my flesh is alive and well. >> And I got to repent on a daily basis. And I I'll be honest with you, I repent more now than I did when I was first saved. Yeah, >> many saints understand the repentance required to receive justification, that initial salvation, and that happens at the speed of confession. He that covereth his sin shall not prosper. Proverbs 28:13. But who so confesseth and forsaketh him shall have mercy. As soon as you open your mouth and say, "God, I'm a dirty running sinner. >> I need Your mercy." God says, "You got it. It's right here. I give it to you. No prerequisites. You don't have to have a pedigree. You don't have to have a a Greek and Hebrew understanding of scriptures. You don't have to have a lexicon dictionary. All you got to DO IS SAY, 'GOD, I'M SORRY.'" >> AND GOD WILL SAY, "FORGIVE IT." [screaming] [applause] >> But I want to focus on another dimension of repentance that I believe so many saints do not benefit from. Repentance is supposed to get deeper as your walk with God progresses. >> We don't like that. >> We want our repentance to become less >> as our walk with God progresses to show how little >> we need it now. >> I did all my repenting year. I paid my repentance dues >> and now I just I don't know. I flutter with the Lord everywhere. No. The closer you get to Him, the more the light will shine upon you, the more He will desire to perfect and sanctify you. Repentance is not something you leave behind the moment you spoke in tongues. Repentance gets deeper as your walk with God progresses. Repentance becomes even more powerful as your walk with God progresses. It becomes even more transformative as your walk with God progresses. >> I re I believe that the professional repenters in the kingdom of God should not be sinners. >> I believe the sinners should show or the saints should show the sinners how to repent. >> You know what's crazy to me? The first people that are always up at the altar are typically the people that are praying the most. >> Come on. Typically the people you say, "Let's have an altar call, my God." Those that have already been in the spirit before they even come to church, those that are already speaking in tongues, those that have been fasting and seeking God, they're going up to the altar because they have a fresh glimpse of Jesus and they have a fresh glimpse of themselves. And they're like, "I know I've been in church 20 years, but I got to repent fresh. I got to get right with God. I got to make sure I'm in alignment with the spirit of God." Repentance is more than something you did once to be saved. I'm here to tell you today, repentance is a daily channel of transformative prayer. Repentance has a radical role in continued transformation. Repentance is literally a miracle you tap into. If you repent but still want to do what you did before, >> If you repent but you are still falling prey to what you did before, you have not tapped into the radical nature of repentance. Does anybody else wondered besides me? We just say we just say to the adulterer, repent. This person that's been doing this for 45 years, just repent. We say to the drug addict that's chemically bound and emotionally bound and psychologically bound and their willpower's just repent. >> What are we saying? It's not some mystical formula where you just say I'm sorry and everything. Let me tell you something. There is a dimension of the miraculous that you can tap into when you get in your mind, I am repenting. I am going to change. I'm never going to be this way again. God will cause you to have access to the radical nature of transformation. You will be different. >> I believe there is a minimum level of repentance and a maximum level of repentance. >> MINIMUM LEVEL OF REPENTANCE IS GOD, I'M SORRY. AND GOD SAYS, I FORGIVE YOU and you're going to heaven if the rapture takes place right there. >> Maximum repentance is where there's a different you. >> There's a different you. One of the most radical repentances recorded in scripture was the Corinthian church. Anybody love reading first and 2 Corinthians? You talk about a contrast of letters. Whenever I need to feel good about my life, whenever I need to feel good about the kingdom of God, the churches, I just read First Corinthians. >> I'm just like, well, thank God we're not that bad. My God. Paul. Paul. He pastored. He was the apostle of that church. They were terrible. Corinth was terrible. Not only were they terrible in church. It was a terrible city. Horrible city. If you wanted to desecrate somebody and and mock somebody for being immoral, you call them a Corinthian. Now, we have a church at Corinth. You read it. And we have two recorded epistles or letters from Paul the Apostle to Corinth. But according to his own words, there's at least three and maybe even four. We only have two, but there's at least three or four. He had a constant communication with this church. And his first letter was a scathing rebuke. What kind of preacher would do that to somebody? Not to make a church preacher. Stuff you read in First Corinthians never comes over a pulpit in contemporary Christianity. You're carnal. >> God bless you. Don't forget to give to Kingdom C our Faith in Action. >> You're backslid. YOU GOT TO PRAY MORE. Make sure you support our new uh building program. >> First Corinthians 3 and 3, he said, "For you are yet carnal. For whereas there is among you envying and strife and divisions, are you not carnal and walk as men?" Saints mad at saints, leaders mad at leaders. We got divisions and clicks. PAUL'S LIKE, I SEE IT. YOU'RE CARNAL. I wonder what kind of after that first letter, I wonder what kind of like Google review they would have given the church at Corinth. Paul let us know whenever there are clashes in a church, it's always linked to image and carnality. Proverbs 13:10, "Only by pride cometh contention, but with the well advised is wisdom." You know, you know what to know of the the saint you will never have to contend with in a church? Someone who crucifies themself in prayer. >> I'm not getting a lot of talk back, but I'm going to say it because it's true. >> You know, one person you'll probably never have to clash with in church. Someone has who has lost themself to the mission. Someone who died upon the altar of purpose. [applause] But hey, clashes and and contentions and divisions wasn't all that was going on. 1 Corinthians 5, this is when I really start feeling good about myself. First Corinthians 5:1, "It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you." It's like posted on Facebook. This is a common rumor and it's true. He said, "I I believe it to be true and such fornication as is not so much named among the Gentiles that one should have his father's wife." He said, "The church has taken sin to a deeper, darker place than the world ever took it to." >> That one should have his father's wife. And then he said, "When I come, I'm not going to have a counseling session with this dude. We're not going to lay hands on this dude." 1 Corinthians 5:5, "I'm going to deliver that person unto Satan >> for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." This is not me. This is the Apostle Paul. Their carnality was so out of control, they were bringing lawsuits against each other. Their sense of justice demanded answers. HOW DARE YOU? 1 Corinthians 6 and 1 he said, "Dare any of you having a matter against another go to law before the unjust and not before the saints." Another place he said, "Don't you know you're going to judge angels? You can't judge among yourselves. >> You're going to actually take this to an unenlightened magistrate. Someone that has not been baptized in Jesus' name. Someone that has not received the gift of the Holy Ghost. You're going to take your cause before them. And don't you know God is entrusting the judgment of angels into the hands of the saints." Verse seven, it gets better and better, y'all. It's just going to get better and better the whole service. "Now, therefore, there is utterly a fault among you because you go to law with one another. Why do Watch this. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?" Paul said, "If you were spiritual, you would just take the wrong. I'm just going to take it. >> I'm just going to take it. >> He said if you were spiritual, you would just endure the defrauding like Jesus did, like Paul did. >> But it gets even better. When they took communion, I think this might be my favorite. WHEN THEY TOOK COMMUNION, THEY PARTIED. He said, "When you come together, therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper. For in eating, everyone taketh before another his own
Supper. Got any leftovers of unleavened bread? I'm hungry. Give me some more of that bread."
And he said, "One is hungry and the other is drunken. You're getting full and getting drunk. Doesn't it make you feel good about church? I don't think we did that at Easter when we took communion. I didn't see like people clinking their plastic uh grape juice together. Man, we're doing okay. And Paul said they're actually receiving a curse in their bodies with sickness and even death. 1 Corinthians 11:30, chapters 12-14, the ones we use to teach about the gifts of the spirit and speaking in tongues and love. He was nailing him for seeking gifting and position. And they didn't even have simple love for each other. Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, you can be as fasting as you want, as speaking in tongues as you want, as spiritual, but you don't even love your brother or sister, though I speak with the tongues of men and angels and have not love. I'm just an empty sounding brass and a tinkling. It was not an instruction only. It was a scathing rebuke. Chapter 12. They were using their self-declared giftings to hide their glaring character flaws. They were backbiters and gossipers. And Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Be not deceived. Evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness and sin not. For some have not the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame." You're in a church and the words you're speaking are evil and you're not even aware God's watching everything you're saying.
But then in spite of everything they were doing, this is where I have hope. He said in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "There hath no temptation taken you, but such is common to every man." This happens in every every place. >> As bad as it looks, it happens. Hey, we traveled. I've traveled for 22 years preaching across north, south, east, west, multiple continents. Man, wherever there's people, there seems to be flesh. >> I have not found the angelic church of Jesus Christ yet. >> I found the flesh church of Jesus Christ. >> I found people. >> I don't know if this shocks you today, but I just want to make you aware in case you have not realized that you are in a church full of people. >> Nobody here's been translated yet. Everybody here woke up with bad breath. >> I'm so sorry to reveal that. I know. I'm just shocking the system right now. Everybody here had to put deodorant on. Why? We're just a bunch of people. We're just a bunch of people that have this body of sinful flesh with carnal minds. That's immity against God. That's not So, what do we got to do? We got to repent. We got to repent. We got to stay in repentance. We got to live in repentance. UH COME ON. THERE'S NO PERFECT CHURCHES. We got to submit, surrender. WE GOT TO YIELD. WE GOT TO ALIGN. >> He said, "Hey, this is common TO EVERYBODY." BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL. SOMEBODY SAY, "GOD'S FAITHFUL." >> ANYBODY THANKFUL THAT GOD'S FAITHFUL WHO WILL [screaming] NOT SUFFER YOU TO BE TEMPTED ABOVE THAT YOU ARE ABLE, BUT WILL WITH THE TEMPTATION UH [screaming] ALSO MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE. UH THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO BEAR IT. UH GOD WILL GET YOU OUT OF THAT IF YOU LET HIM. GOD WILL BRING YOU OUT OF THAT IF YOU LET HIM. [cheering] HALLELUJAH.
And this is where things just get phenomenal to me. But then in spite of everything that Paul brought to light in First Corinthians, in spite of the error, in spite of the sins, in spite of that church taking sin to a level the world didn't even take it to, in spite of all of it, in his second letter, there's a massive change of tone. First sec or 2 Corinthians chapter 2 verse4. For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears. He wasn't like I want to get them. I'm going to nail these people. Make it even worse. carnal. It's going to kill you. You're glorying in your sin and your strife and your contention. It's going to kill you. Ah, save them, God. He said, with anguish of heart, I wrote to you with many tears. Not that you should be grieved that you might know the love which I have to you. Why in the world would HE BE SO POINTED ABOUT IT? I want you to know how much I love you. I tell you the truth. Because I love you. Let me tell you something right now. The greatest act of love Bishop Barnham ever gave me was rebuking me to my face. >> I love him more than any human besides my wife, my children. He rebuked me to my face. Do you know how much I pray? Do you know how much I fast said? Yep. And now I just want to shine his shoes. I want to eat lunch and dinner with him. I want him to come to my house and touch my children. Let me tell you something right now. A pastor that beats around the bush with you, a pastor that won't challenge sin, they don't love you. >> You know what they love? They love your money. They love your money. That's what they love. Pastor that won't rebuke sin, they love your offering. They want to make your stinking flesh happy. That's what they want to do because they want to keep you coming and paying. But a pastor that loves you is going [laughter] to say, "Hey, there is truth and there is error. There is light and there is darkness. Uh, and I'm here TO HELP YOU. I'M NOT DIFFERENT THAN ANYBODY ELSE. I'VE GOT TO REPENT OF MY SIN. [laughter] I'VE GOT TO ALIGN WITH [screaming] GOD." [cheering] And I want you to see, I want you to see, he said, I showed you these things out of love. 2 Corinthians 7:3, watch this. I speak not this to condemn you. For I have said before that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. Look at the order he puts it in. I want to know I want you to know how I feel about you. I'm here to die with you and live with you. Why did he put dying first? Because the only way you're really going to be able to live with somebody is if you die to self first. The only way you're going to go to heaven with somebody, you got to DIE TO YOU. DIE TO YOUR AGENDA. DIE TO YOUR IMAGE. DIE TO YOUR PLAN. DIE TO YOUR MISSION. DIE TO YOUR TERRITORY. YOU GOT TO SAY, "HEY, I'M NOT. THIS IS NOT ABOUT ME. IT'S ABOUT US GOING TO [laughter and screaming] HEAVEN.
Now watch the transformation of this church. To me, the greatest transformation in scripture besides Paul, Paul got to watch his own life. He was Paul the persecutor and then he became Paul the preacher. 2 Corinthians 7:6. Nevertheless, God that comforteth those that are cast down. Anybody thankful for that word? >> He comforts those that are cast down. He's not a God that's looking at you and said, "Get lower." Oh man, he's there. He's comforting. He said he comforted us by the coming of Titus and not by his coming only. Watch. But by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you when he told us your see Titus is my spy. Every good pastor has spies. Things will come into the ears of the pastor from the Holy Ghost, from the word of God, and from spies. I pretty much know what's happening around here. And he said, Titus told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me. YOU WERE AVOIDING ME BEFORE REPENTANCE, but now you long to be in my proximity. Real repentance wants to make you closer to your spiritual authority. >> Watch this. Their repentance not only produced a change in their behavior, it produced a change in their desires, >> their attitude, their thinking. He said, "So that I rejoice the more for though I made you sorry with the letter, I do not repent, though I did repent." I want to tell you right now, I want to tell you, he said, "I did repent." When he released that sword into that church, he was on his face sobbing and crying, repenting. If he did anything wrong, if he was too harsh, for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were, but for a season, now I rejoice. Uh, real repentance leads to rejoicing, that not that you were made sorry, but that you sorrow to repentance. Uh, for you were made sorry after a godly manner, that you might receive damage by us in nothing. FOR GODLY SORROW WORKKETH repentance through salvation, not to be repented of, but the sorrow of the world workketh death. [applause] For behold, the selfsame thing that you sorrowed after a godly sword. When you sorrow after a godly sword, watch the radical role of repentance. What carefulness it brought in you. >> I want to make sure I never do that again. What clearing of yourselves? You're not walking around with a guilty spirit. >> You're cleared. >> What indignation? Not towards Paul, towards sin. >> What fear? FEAR OF GOD. YAY. WHAT VEHICENT DESIRE? I WANT TO PRAY LIKE I'VE never prayed. I want to fast like I've never fasted. I want to worship like I've never worshiped. I want to do outreach like I've What does repentance do? changes your desire. Yay, what seal, what revenge against hell and all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. Let me TELL YOU HOW RADICAL REPENTANCE IS. IT WILL COMPLETELY CHANGE YOU. IT WILL COMPLETELY CHANGE YOU. IT WILL TRANSFORM YOU. IT'LL MAKE YOU SO [screaming] DIFFERENT. HALLELUJAH.
Paul identified two kinds of sorrow. Everybody say two kinds of sorrow. >> Now, this is very interesting because the Bible also identifies two kinds of pleasure. There's two kinds of sorrow. There's two kinds of pleasure. Hebrews 11:25, Moses chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Psalm 16:11, "Thou will show me the path of life. In thy presence is fullness of joy and at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more. So there's Jesus presence pleasures and then there's worldly pleasures, sinful pleasures for a season. The kind of pleasure you seek will determine what kind of sorrow you have. >> That's right. >> Let me tell you about godly sorrow versus worldly sorrow. Godly sorrow leads to repentance. Worldly sorrow leads to self-pity. >> You're not sorry and you want to change. You're sorry you got caught. >> That's right. >> Godly sorrow makes a person want to live better. Worldly sorrow makes a person bitter. >> Godly sorrow leads to self-examination. Worldly sorrow leads to avoiding the real issue. Godly sorrow leads a person to admit guilt. Worldly sorrow leads a person to make excuses for themselves. Godly sorrow causes obedience to the world. Worldly sorrow causes people to be offended at the world. Godly sorrow makes you sorry for doing wrong. Worldly sorrow makes you sorry you're paying the price for doing wrong. >> Can you see the difference? >> GODLY SORROW MAKES A PERSON WANT TO CHANGE THEMSELVES. Worldly sorrow makes a person blame everybody else and everything else for their problems. >> Godly sorrow LEADS A PERSON TO FACE THE TRUTH. WORLDLY SORROW [screaming] MAKES A PERSON HIDE FROM THE TRUTH. YES. >> Godly sorrow is focused on alignment with God, God's image. Worldly sorrow is focused on preserving selfimage. >> Both have tears. >> Both look sorrowful. >> The end result is completely different. >> Bible gives us two vivid examples of this. Ju Judas and Peter. We always talk about how Judas betrayed Jesus. Man, Peter I think honestly I think Peter did worse than Judas. I really do. Judas sold Jesus to the Sanhedrin, but he didn't walk with Jesus like Peter did. He didn't know Jesus like Peter did. He wasn't close to Jesus like Peter was. You never hear about Jesus except gripping and complaining. And Jesus just let him be there. He never confronted him. He just let that spirit stay. He just let it live there. He never confronted that spirit. He knew what was there. He never confronted it. Only in prayer. Peter saw what was happening to Jesus. He, the Bible says, he followed him closely. He's in the courtyard while Jesus is being tried. Jesus and Peter have eye contact with each other because the Bible says when Peter denied Jesus, Jesus looked at Peter, looked him in the eyes. He's getting beat. He's getting pummeled with fists and with rods. They're blindfolding him. They're spitting on him. and his right-hand man that was willing to die for him according to his own words is watching the show. The Bible says that Peter saw what was happening. He denied Jesus three times. Hey, weren't you with him? No, I don't know him. Hey, weren't you with him? Didn't you WALK WITH HIM? NO. WAIT A MINUTE. I love this about Jesus and disciplehip. HE SAID, "WAIT A MINUTE. YOUR SPEECH BETRAYS YOU. YOU talk like him. You walk with somebody long enough, you're going to talk like him. >> And Peter to divorce himself from talking like Jesus started cursing. >> Let me show you how little me and Jesus have in common. He started cursing and swearing. I do not know the man. looked Jesus through swollen eyes and fists on his face looked at Peter. The Bible says after Peter's failure, Peter went out of the palace court and wept bitterly. After Judas's failure, Jesus Judas went out of the temple and hanged himself. What causes people to commit spiritual suicide? Judas was more concerned about his image than he was with realignment. Peter wept bitterly. I've been close to him. I remember him putting his hand on me and saying, "Thou art Peter. I've never seen myself the way Jesus sees me. And upon this rock, I will build my church." And now he invested so much into me. He invested so much authority in me. He caused the other disciples to love me. He put me on that authority level. And here I am betraying him. And he's weeping and groaning. Why? Because he was filled with godly sorrow. And he wanted to realign himself with the one that he loved. He loved his image more than his image. He loved him more than he loved himself. That's what godly sorrow does. [laughter] I don't CARE WHAT ANYBODY THINKS ABOUT MY REPUTATION. I GOT TO GET REALIGNED WITH JESUS. [screaming] Everybody say godly sorrow. >> Metaneo which means to think differently afterwards. That is reconsider, repent. Godly sorrow is metamolei which means to care afterwards. Afterwards you care. Afterwards you regret after you're busted. Jesus. Judas didn't feel no care while he was sinning. He only cared afterwards when he saw the results of his bad decisions. Peter cared. He had sinned against. His weakness broke his heart. Oh my God. Folks, don't let there be space between the moment you sin and the moment you repent. The devil will do everything he can to insert pride. If the if pride enters when sin is there, you will start getting more concerned about yourself and the possibility of real repentance diminishes. You got to break that image. >> He repented. Everybody say he repented. 50 days later, who's preaching. >> MANY BRETHREN, [screaming] WHAT SHALL WE DO? PETER THE BETRAYER. >> PETER THE [screaming] FAILURE. PETER, THE ONE WHO LEFT EVERYBODY TO THEMSELVES, STANDS UP and said, "Repent and be baptiz." I know the power of repentance. UH IF HE'LL FORGIVE ME, HE'LL FORGIVE YOU. REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU [screaming] IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST UH FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SIN. AND HE [screaming] SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. IF HE FORGAVE ME, HE'LL FORGIVE YOU. IF HE'LL LOOSE ME, HE'LL LOOSE YOU. IF HE'LL CHANGE [screaming] ME, HE'LL CHANGE YOU. >> [cheering] >> HEY. HEY. We're going to get to know each other around here. We're going to heaven together. >> We're going to heaven together. Look at somebody. Say, "I'm going to heaven with you." >> Come on. Look at somebody else. I'M GOING TO HEAVEN with you. >> HEY, YOU HANG AROUND SOMEBODY LONG ENOUGH. YOU'RE GOING TO GET TO KNOW THEM. >> But don't you dare judge them when they fall. Don't you dare PUT SOME KIND OF TIME FRAME ON THEIR RECOVERY BECAUSE JESUS IS THE ONE UH THAT [screaming] CAN TURN EVERYTHING UPSIDE DOWN. THEY MIGHT HAVE FAILED 5 DAYS AGO, BUT 5 DAYS LATER THEY'RE LAYING HANDS ON THE SICK AND THE SICK ARE BEING HEALED. [screaming] COME ON. THERE'S A POWER OF REPENTANCE. Lift your hands and lift your voice and thank God for the power of repentance. [laughter] >> [cheering] [applause and cheering]
I'm 100% convinced. I am 100% convinced >> that when you hold grudges against somebody, you are not operating in the radical role of repentance >> because it hasn't worked for you. When it works for you, >> you are very quick to forgive. >> Y'all just bear with me in my folly. I'm going to say something that's so >> but but when you are quick to forgive, it's because you know what kind of idiot you can be. >> You know what kind of silly Now, I'm not talking about anybody here. Just people on live stream. You you know what kind of fool you can be. You know what kind of messed up person. Don't don't don't just LOOK AROUND YOU SANCTIFIED PENTECOSTAL. COME ON. YOU KNOW YOU GOT BUTTONS. UH YOU KNOW YOU HAVE FAILURES. UH COME ON. DON'T YOU REMEMBER JESUS FORGAVE YOU? YOU BETTER FORGIVE SOMEBODY ELSE. [screaming] YOU BETTER FORGIVE THEM. [cheering] [applause] OH, >> I feel the Holy Ghost. Why don't you just let the Holy Ghost flow out of your mouth for a moment? Come on. Forget about everybody around you and just let the Holy Ghost flow. You may be seated. My God have mercy. You want to be close to the Lord. Anybody want to be close to the Lord? >> Come on. Anybody want to be close to the Lord? >> You think God's going to allow you to stay the way you are? If you really want to get close to the Lord, >> don't you know you're and you're you're actually volunteering >> for character flaw revelations. >> I think I'll walk as close as I can to him. Really? >> So the the greatest light that's ever shined in the history of the universe is going to shine on you. Now >> you really want to walk close. Further you get, the more you can hide behind shadows. But if you walk close, it's like >> something there. There's something there. >> There's something there. Are you tiglish? This man gives me so much joy. Anybody love Austin Osborne and Hannah Osborne? Oh my lord. She she loves him. Hannah loves him. [applause] But even in I would say the angel of the church. >> Come on. Y'all know it's true. >> I I've never heard a cross word. I'm sure it's there. I've never seen a bad I've never seen it. >> It His wife says, "Me neither. It makes me sick. I cannot relate to this guy at all. But compared to Jesus, the light. Anybody here besides me, you get closer to the Lord and the Lord's like [snorts] ah. >> And you begin to question, ah, maybe I'll just be on the peripheral. >> Maybe I'll just be on the fringes. I don't know. That hurt too bad. It hurt too bad. Let me tell you what it means to be like Jesus. You want to know what it means? For the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross. >> Despising the shame. >> What shame? If you're going to be like Jesus, you're going to be stripped naked >> and everything you are >> is going to be exposed to everybody. It was so shameful. He despised the shame. But the end result, the mission, the purpose is worth the cross. [applause] >> Imagine Jesus defending himself on the cross. IMAGINE HIM DEFENDING HIMSELF. DON'T NO, DON'T [screaming] TAKE THAT OFF. NO. I DON'T WANT ANYBODY SEEING that >> now. He just yielded himself. >> Lift your hands for a moment. I feel a I feel the touch of Jesus. I remember one service. I'm just It's confession day. Just so y'all know, I got so many stories of this type of stuff. I could I could speak four hours on this topic. I just don't talk about it very much. I mean, who likes to talk about this stuff? I got something in my crawl against a saint in our church. Got something in my crawl. They They ticked me off. Now, I know this is such a surprise to you because I know y'all think I'm an angel, man. I was like I couldn't even look at them. When I did look at him, I let them know I was looking at him. It burned in me. It burned in me. I was praying for hours a day. So, it had to be them, right? When you're praying hours a day and you're fasting till your bones are showing, it has to be them with the problem. And God said, "Bam, it's you. Bam, it's you. Bam, it's you." Where do you go? You go to the saints and vent. Go to other saints and vent. Man, there's nowhere to go. It just gets worse and worse. So, I went to the church. That's where I got saved. I went to the altar and I had an allight prayer meeting screaming to God. Everybody say all night. >> All night. >> Everybody say all night. >> Everybody say all night. >> All night. >> Some dimensions of repentance you will not casually walk into. >> And I died. I died that night in my spirit. I died in my character. I died in my image. And when I came out of that prayer meeting, I was so raw. But what carefulness was in my spirit? What carefulness was in my spirit? Jesus, please. I know I have a propensity to hold grudges. Lord, please keep me from it. I don't want to ever do that again. I have been disconnected from you and I've been hiding behind my righteousness. I'm Make me careful. I'm telling you, if somebody brought that name up, I was so quick to love. I was so quick to praise. I was so quick to zip my lip. Repentance will change you. And I want to tell you, it hasn't stopped there. Every once in a while, more often than not, God will say, "You need to pray more." I'm praying. I try to pray hours a day. God's like, "You need to pray more. You got to get rid of this fake silly nonsense about walking with God that you're just going to come in and wear a tie and everything's going to be all right. You got to dig out that junk out of your flesh. [laughter] You've got to put your flesh on the altar." Now, I'm a hard-headed dude. I'm a hard-nosed hard I'm Am I stubborn? I'm a little stubborn. And so, I just need more. I need I'm not super spiritual. I'm super needy. I'm super dependent. I'm super I'm super messed up without the Holy Ghost. And so I've learned to bridge the gap between health and and where I'm at. I better pray and I better fast and I better put myself on. Come on. You're not any different than I AM. UH YOU'RE NOT ANY COME ON. WE GOT TO GET INTO THAT PLACE OF REPENTANCE WHERE WE SAY, "GOD, search me and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. Uh and see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the WAY OF LIFE." NOT BACK WHEN I WAS GETTING SAVED. RIGHT [screaming] NOW. [cheering]
Not only does repentance change us, it changes everything around us. >> Daniel didn't curse his nation, he repented for his nation. Daniel 9:5, we have sinned and have committed an we. Everybody say we. >> We have sinned. Didn't Jesus say Daniel, if you were as righteous as Daniel, Daniel is one of the most righteous men in scripture by the words of Jesus. And yet Daniel said, "We have sinned and have committed iniquity. We have done wickedly. We have rebelled. We have departed from thy precepts and from thy judgments. Neither have we. Everybody say we. Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets. Who's talking right now? What is he? Say it real loud. He's a prophet. Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets. Which spake in thy name to our kings and our princes and our fathers and to all the people of the land. It's not of them. It's a we. >> Well, those people have problems. No, we have problems. >> Listen, if my toe is having a problem on my body, I'm having a problem. >> If my earlobes having a problem on my body, it's not my earlobe and me, it's me. >> If my hands having a problem on my body, my whole body's having a problem. Come on. When somebody's struggling in the church, it's not a them issue. >> When somebody's battling and it's not a them and us. Oh, there's the carnal ones and there's the spiritual one. There's the struggling ones and here's the p. No, if there's a if there's a problem, God, we need help. Uh, God, we need deliverance. Uh, God, WE NEED BLOOD. GOD, WE NEED MERCY. Come on. There cannot be strivings and ENVINGS AND [laughter] DIVISIONS. UH, WE WE WE WE'VE GOT TO BE CHANGED. WE'VE GOT TO BE HELPED. Nehemiah repented for his people. Nehemiah 1:6, "Let thine ear now be attentive and thine eyes open that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant which I pray before thee now night day and night." Everybody say day and night he's repenting how often day and night he's crying how often day and night for the children of Israel thy servants and confess the sins of the children of Israel and it looks like he's talking about them and THEN IT SAYS WHICH WE HAVE SINNED AGAINST THEE. Both I and my father's house have sinned. I'm a sinner. I'm Nehemiah. I am famous Nehemiah, the guy with the sword and the hammer. I'm a sinner. We've dealt very corruptly. We, everybody say, we have dealt very corruptly against thee and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments which thou commandest thy servant move. Let me tell you something. People who accuse, people who demand justice, people who demand, you're [snorts] not in the Holy Ghost. Your image is involved. Your reputation's involved. They're a motive beyond God's mission. But people who put themselves in the repentance access the transforming power of repentance. God is looking for someone to seek forgiveness for others, not expose others. Can I tell you, those of you that want to operate in the gifts of the spirit, you will never fully operate in the gifts of the spirit until you learn not to judge with the gifts of the spirit, but learn how to intercede with the gifts of the spirit. Nobody I want to tell you right now cuz there's a bunch of people y'all are seeking. Y'all are hungry. And and this is how I was taught and I want to relay that blessing to you. You do not use the gifts of the spirit for your own defense. >> Ever. Ever. Ever. What time? At what point in time did Jesus use the gifts of the spirits to heal himself? At what point in time did Paul, the worker of miracles, lay hands on himself and deliver himself from the thorn of the flesh? Uh, you will never use the gifts of the spirit for your own defense, for your own healing, for your own protection. THEY ARE TO INTERCEDE. UH, THEY ARE TO EDIFY. THEY ARE TO HELP, NOT TO JUDGE. [screaming] Ezekiel 22:29. Everything okay? I know it's not I'm not preaching tonight. I got to do this today in the Holy Ghost. Ezekiel 22:29. The people of the land have used oppression and ex There's another prophet, one of the great prophets of scripture. They've used robbery and have vexed the poor and needy. Yay, they've oppressed the stranger wrongfully. And I sought for a man among them. God that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me in the land that I shot should not destroy it. But I found none. God is literally looking for someone that sees the problem. And instead of saying this, you're saying, "Oh God, oh God, save him. Oh God, help him." God's looking for someone to hold back his wrath. Let me tell you something. I And this is a fresh revelation for me, but I repent for Palm Coast all the time. I repent, God. We're filled with pride in Palm Coast. Uh God, we're filled with the Pharisee spirit in Palm Coast. Uh this city drives me nuts. Uh they act like THEY GOT IT ALL. WE'RE FILLED WITH THAT ALL. I've got it all together. YOU'VE GOT TO SAVE US. UH YOU'VE GOT TO BAPTIZE US IN A SPIRIT of repentance. UH [laughter] YOU'VE GOT TO DELIVER US. [screaming] What happens when God does not find an intercessor that will repent for others? He said, "I found none. Therefore, have I poured out my indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my m wrath. Their own way have I recompensed upon their head, sayeth the Lord God. Because he found no one to repent for others." Man, if you don't know what to do in your prayer time, if you run out of words, just start repenting. Just start repenting for the city you're in. Power will come upon you. The spirit of repentance will change you. The role of radical repentance. It will change your emotions. It'll change. And if you haven't tapped in, you just you got to press a little harder. Got to press. Don't get up until you change. You know where I got that from? Mama Varnum. Mama Varnum when she got married. See here. All right. Give y'all hope. Mama Varner when she got married, she's traveling the world. I was just talking to somebody a while back, Sister Salamita, actually. Sister Barbara Salamita. What a testimony. And we were talking about she she saw Sister Varnum evangelizing when she was a teenager. She was like, she's the best evangelist the church ever had. Prophetus of God. And she was there. And then she got married to James Varn. James Barnum was a skinny skinny skinny. If you've seen pictures, he was skinny, mighty man of God, pastor. And at 18 years old, and she's like, "Man, I like him." It's so funny. We got old videos I I was blessed to edit and put together of they have James Barnum. He's got the tambourine. He's praising God. And Sister Varnham's over there. And she's like, they're about to get married. And she got married and she's like, "This guy's in Belleview. Pathetic, stinky Belleview. It's just a matter of time. I'll get him out of here. We'll travel the world." It's over the next two years. Y'all remember her saying, y'all remember what she said when she was on this platform? She threw an iron at her husband. This is not one of the uh LG irons. This is a castiron iron. Like you're going to die if this hits you. Wherever it hits will be terminal. They fought like cats and dogs. And finally, brother Varnum, he he's so wise. He looked at her and he said, "Naomi," he said, "I can have multiple ministries, but I can only have one wife. If you will not be happy here, we'll go somewhere else so you can be happy. And she said the Holy Ghost sm her heart. Bam. She realized how much power she had to alter the will of God in their lives. And Sister Barnum, she said this, too. So, I'm saying all the stuff she said when she was here. She's like, "Some people can just pray and get over stuff." She said, "I got to pray a lot." Man, something inside of me just she got in a rocking chair and she prayed all night long, God, you got to change my heart. If you've ever heard her pray, she wasn't praying quietly. She said when the sun rose that morning, she had a new heart and she loved Belle and she would never leave Belleview because that's where God called her to be. Hey, what does repentance do? Repentance, I want to talk to spiritual Pentecostals right now. Repentance is the greatest relief you will ever experience. >> You will stop carrying the heavy burden you've been carrying. I want to talk to somebody. You keep going back to the Bible talks about the dog that returns to his own. You hate what you used to be and yet you keep going back to what you used to be. There is a level of repentance that's beyond God just saying you're justified. I don't hold your sin against you. There's another level where you are praying in the channel of repentance. Like David, let the words of my mouth uh let the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer. David cried out to God. Who can know his own errors? who I can't even see everything that's wrong with me. Who can know his own error? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Uh keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins. Then shall I be upright. Uh then shall I be innocent from the great transgression. Uh let the words of my MOUTH UH LET THE MEDITATIONS OF MY heart be acceptable in my sight. Oh Lord, my strength and MY RED. CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART. UH renew in me a right spirit. UH OH. RESTORE UNTO ME THE JOY OF THY SALVATION. UH I'M here to introduce you. I'm here to open a door for somebody in the Holy Ghost. Uh there's a channel of prayer called repentance. Uh and when you enter that channel, God will begin to take out the junk that's hindering. Uh he'll begin to take out the wounds that are hindering. UH HE'LL START TAKING OUT THE STUFF THAT'S TRIPPING YOU UP. It'll be a character change, a mind change, a desire change, an attitude change, a perspective change, a relationship change. Your prayer will change. Your worship will change. Your Bible studies will change. Your life will change. When you get up in the morning, you'll feel different when you go to sleep. And I'm here to tell you, there's a radical role of repentance. I want you to lift your hands right now. I want some saints. I want some saints to show how. How do you repent? You got to humble yourself before God. You got to humble yourself before God. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. and when he [laughter] and he will exalt you in due time. God, I want you to search me right now. Is there any saint that wants to start seeking the Lord? Search me and know my heart, Jesus. Uh try me and know my thoughts, Jesus. I want you to examine me. Examine me and cleanse me from every evil way. God, I want to have a change in my character. God, I want a change in my perspective. Uh I DON'T WANT TO CLASH WITH PEOPLE. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE UH SECRET SINS. UH I DON'T WANT TO KEEP GOING BACK TO WHAT I WAS DELIVERED FROM. I want to be clean. I want to be righteous. Come on. I need some saints to lift your voice. We're going to fill this atmosphere with repentance right now. Come on. Nobody in their right mind's going to judge you. Nobody with a right spirit's going to judge you. They know what God's delivered them from. They know what God brought them out of. Oh God, [laughter] if you can forgive me, I know you can forgive anybody. If you can change my mind, I know you can change anybody's mind. If you can set me free from bitterness and guilt and shame and irritation, I know you can do it for any human in this world. Oh shhat God, help Christian Life Center to live in the dimension of repentance. Uh let Christian Life Center live in the dimension of repentance. God, we repent for this city. We repent for the traditions of this city. We repent for the ingrained sin sin all the way back from the 1800s of this region, oh God, of pride and money hungry and adultery. In the name of Jesus, we are sinners. Uh we need your blood. God forgive Flaggler County. God forgive Putham County. God forgive St. John's County. God forgive Valuchia County. God, we are sinners saved by grace. Uh we are sinners in need of a savior. WE ARE SINNERS IN NEED OF YOUR BLOOD. [screaming] HALLELUJAH. I want some prayer warriors to turn it up a notch for about two minutes. I want some of you intercessors. Come on. We need help right now. We're We're talking about some of the most difficult thing anybody can do. We're talking about some of the most difficult things any saint of God can do. Let the light examine you after you've been baptized in Jesus name. Let the light examine you after you receive the Holy Ghost speaking. Come on, we need some help from intercessors. [laughter] >> [screaming] [cheering] >> I want to be clean. [cheering] Hallelujah. [cheering] >> That's it. Keep doing that. I feel something breaking in the atmosphere right now. Come on. Come on. Some spouses need to forgive right now. Come on. Some children need to forgive. Some parents need to forgive. Some prayer warriors NEED TO FORGIVE. I REPENT. I [screaming] FORGIVE. GOD, I want to feel good when I think about that person. God, I want to feel good. I want to have hope for them. God, I want to have warm, fuzzy feelings when I think about them. God, I want to believe you can do anything for them. >> Come on, don't stop praying. And I'm going to hit something right here. There are people in this room you have to forgive. Uh there's somebody doing you wrong right now. You could actually name their name and you could tell what they are actually doing. Uh you need to forgive them right now. You need to lay that thing on the altar right now in the name of Jesus. And when you do, the release comes. The release comes. >> [cheering] >> Love it. Here we go. I wonder if anybody has the grace in this house right now to reach over to your sister and your brother. I want you to pray for your brother. I know there's I know God's putting the light on us, but I want to pray. God, let him enter the dimension of radical repentance. Come on, pray for your sister. Pray for your brother. God, let him enter the dimension of radical repentance. God, let him experience the powerful transformation of radical repentance. [laughter] >> [cheering] [cheering] >> Hallelujah. treat. [cheering] >> [cheering] >> You can do it for la. Hallelujah. I know you don't. >> [cheering] >> It's on you right now. In the name of Jesus, we love you. Thank you for being here so much. Don't forget tonight pre-ervice prayer at 5:30. Consider yourself dismissed. Pray as long as you want to pray. Come on. The Holy Ghost is here. You can have it today. You can have it today.
