Hello. In this video, we will analyze a common problem when you don't understand what the market needs right now, what technologies to study, which ones are most in-demand, and what to focus your attention on. You might be a beginner who has just learned the basics and doesn't understand where to go next. You could also be an experienced specialist who also doesn't understand where to go next and what technologies to study in order to increase your grade. I used this system when I was a complete beginner, when I was a middle, when I was a senior. and I continue to use it because it is really very simple and very effective. It looks like this table: "Watch the video until the end, and I will give you templates with ten companies already filled in, based on which you can draw certain conclusions." In reality, many people might tell you that no, study only API or study only Django, read Python cheat sheets, and you just don't understand how to move forward. You watch random tutorials, you lose months, in the end, you have a mess in your head, and you still don't understand who to trust. I suggest you don't trust anyone, don't listen to others' opinions, but act according to the system that I will tell you now and which you will eventually build yourself. Briefly, your current position is that of a student. That is, you are waiting to be told what to do, or you are trying to act randomly, and you don't understand where to move next at all. Your target position is to be an analyst, when you analyze the market, you really understand what is needed now, you yourself determine which technologies are in demand based on statistics, and you study them sequentially. We will not need any complex tools. Google Sheets will be enough. It's super simple. Go and create your own blank table. Ultimately, this table can look like this. Here is a super simple scheme that you might need. Look, at the top you just write companies, and along the columns you write technologies. So, for example, you go to a job posting, write down the company name, although this is not necessary either. Then you look at what technologies are mentioned there, and, accordingly, put a one or a checkmark there, well, anything. That is, in some way, mark that this technology is in demand by this company. And so you go through all the companies that are relevant to you, and put some kind of checkmarks, notes, which will ultimately give you an understanding of which technology is the most in-demand. It is important to gather a relevant sample, and for it to be large enough, because if you evaluate five companies, it will simply be an irrelevant sample. I would suggest evaluating at least 20-30, or even better, 50 companies. Then you will get a super relevant sample. Often, questions may arise: where do I find a mentor? According to what system should I study all these topics? How deeply do I need to study them? What about documents? What about faking experience? There are very, very many questions that arise for people. We have already solved them all long ago in our mentoring. We have a lot of experienced specialists. We have established systems. We have Mocks, we have absolutely everything you need: tests, mocks, checks, documents. We have solved all problems. You just need to follow the algorithm that we offer. If you are interested, want to get a job or want to increase your grade, write me a message, I will advise you, tell you, and we will discuss what can be done in your situation. Let's get back to it. In reality, if the table was not enough for you, you can improve it a bit. That is, here salary is added, here additional requirements are added, which you can analyze separately, and here key skills and a link are added. Key skills are what you will need to indicate in your resume. You can understand here which key skills are the most frequent, and add them. Well, and a link, if you want to return to this vacancy. Next, let's analyze a specific job posting and try to break it down by the technologies and the scheme that I propose. I've blurred some information here, so as not to show whose vacancy it is. But nevertheless, we look at the job title, and immediately see that there is already DRF. Accordingly, we enter a one for the technology we need. Then we see Django DRF again. Yes. It is obvious that we do not need to repeat this technology in our table, that is, we don't need to put a two, three, and so on. We put a one simply as the presence of this technology in this vacancy. Accordingly, then we look at the stack, and add all this. Some technologies can be ignored, and put them in additional requirements. For example, Unicorn. It is unlikely to be found often in job postings, but nevertheless, we look at what technologies are needed here, and add them, which is very important. It is important to read the text of the vacancy, because often there may be information that will be useful to us later. For example, we see here that they mention load testing. Surely they will ask you something about tests, think about production, monitor monitoring, logs, resources. That is, we don't have any technology, for example, in the stack, that is related to monitoring, but they write about it, and most likely, they will ask about it in the interview. Therefore, be sure to take the time to read the vacancy, highlight some points and add them at least to the additional requirements. Here, by the way, it says about tests at the bottom, although there are no tests in the stack. So, be sure to pay attention to this. If you suddenly don't know some words like style guide, then be sure to look up what it is, so as not to get into trouble. Here you can also highlight some information that will help you further in the interview. For example, they write about career development. You can clarify this with the HR manager. I need to understand how I will develop further, what tasks and challenges will be ahead of me, and so on. This will show the HR manager that you are interested in the vacancy and will be genuinely interested in working for their company. What else can be paid attention to here are some red flags. For example, here it seems they write that if you are interested, you will delve into DevOps. Okay, if that's true, but sometimes behind this can be hidden such a small red flag, that they may not have DevOps, and you will have to perform all DevOps functions. So you have already paid attention to this in advance and made some notes for yourself. Well, further, in principle, here are just technologies. And again, you note some points, that they look at soft skills, and it will be important for you to show them in the interview. By the way, soft skills, perhaps, can even be considered a technology, because it is a rather important thing that many pay attention to. Ultimately, you will get a table like this, on which you will clearly understand which technology is currently in demand. I will show you later how this works out. You will no longer have questions like: "Do I even need Docker? Do I need PostgreSQL, SQLite, or MySQL? Do I need Celery or not?" You will have a clear system by which you will precisely understand which technologies are needed now, and which are not. Therefore, be sure to create such a scheme for yourself and use it. Here's how it might look, let's look a little closer. That is, here are some technologies, and we clearly see that, for example, this technology in column F is the least in demand, although in column J or M, it is much more in demand. It is clear that the sample size here is very small, but nevertheless, it will be clear to you that, for example, studying technologies KL and N in these columns may not be as necessary as studying technology from J first. So, the principle is clear, I think, and you will no longer have questions about what to study and in what order. Literally, you get priorities here. Where there are more points, that technology should be studied first. In addition, you can also analyze additional requirements, because here there are many things that are not indicated in the technologies, but which employers expect from you. Accordingly, this can be some kind of monolith splitting, some kind of architecture, some kind of sprint planning. Possibly, where deployment, setup, production environment is needed. That is, you collect such a vacancy matrix, a competence matrix, whatever you want to call it, and you understand what is really needed in the market now and what awaits you from the employer. As I said, be sure to write down key skills too. They may not be everywhere, they may be missing somewhere, but nevertheless, you will already understand which skills to indicate in your resume, and you will definitely indicate them. And thus, your resume will rise higher relative to other candidates. Write me a private message that you want to get this scheme. I will send it to you. Exactly this one, with a template, with pre-filled technologies, with ten analyzed vacancies. This scheme will be relevant as of today's date. Then I suggest you supplement this scheme based on your realities, because maybe you only need senior vacancies, maybe, for example, only middle, and so on, or maybe you want to take a general sample. Therefore, all further work will be on you. But to get this scheme, write me a private message, and I will give it to you. Use it for free. That's all. This was Sergey Filichkin. Use this super simple scheme and finally start understanding what the market needs today.
