The Lord is gonna do many things today in the mighty name of Jesus, Son of the Living God. Welcome to this special night where we are going to continue in our Warfare at midnight. The Warfare at midnight is, I generally are working together for the next 14 days, and now we are on our sixth day. So we are waiting for others to join in who have joined in today.
Wherever you're watching from in the mighty name of Jesus, Son of the Living God, the Lord is great and awesome, Mighty in power! Tonight, we are blessed to be on the program on the prayer watch with Pastor Juliet. So I request Pastor Juliet to pray for this meeting, but also to greet us in the mighty name of Jesus.
Welcome, Pastor Juliet! Thank you again in your life for what you are here to learn, as it will advance you in knowledge and spiritual understanding of what we are supposed to do in this season.
Let us pray: Loving Father, we love you, we worship you, we glorify you. We thank you for this gathering in the power of the Holy Spirit. We thank you for every person who has tuned in tonight, King of Glory. Father, as we talk about what you want us to learn, as we study and learn this evening, I ask you to meet each and every person learning according to their needs. King of Glory, meet each one of us, my Father, according to the spiritual need that we have and that we desire to have.
King of Glory, let your Holy Spirit minister to each one of us that we may even understand why we have to pray and why we have to do our warfare. Lord, warfare is meant to advance us. Warfare is meant to exalt us.
Lord, my Father, in your presence, Lord, warfare is meant to seat us with Jesus Christ in the heavenly places. Lord, I pray that we get there without any blockage, without any obstacles, without any hindrances, Lord, without any barricades. Lord, thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, I am praying, Amen, Amen.
Thank you so much, Pastor Juliet! We give glory; we thank you for that prayer. As I say that, tonight is a special night. Because of the enemy we are going to deal with, the Lord failed to the right that we may have. I may have my pastor, my intercessor, where you know the battle we are facing right now. The Battle of being severe requires more reinforcement, so tonight I called for reinforcement.
Because of the kind of spirit we are dealing with, people have been saying, "Pastor, they don't hear." I know that they are working on her sound, but I believe even now, being present tonight is a special night.
For the last few nights, we have been looking at every day, every night, examining an enemy that we dealt with—witchcraft, the grave, and the spirits of death. Yesterday, we dealt with our Bulls, and today we are looking at water spirits. Our focus tonight is water spirits.
The strongman of the water spirits is Leviathan. The strong man of water spirits is Leviathan, and the personality, the character, and the manifestation is pride. One of the things that I want to tell you is that we are going to be dealing with the root of pride—one of the weapons Satan has used to destroy great men and great women in the Bible, in church history, and even in our lives is the spirit of pride. But the root of it is water spirits.
So tonight, we're going to be uprooting, binding, and overcoming water spirits and the strongman, which is Leviathan. Then we will deal with the root, the spirit of pride. I want to welcome you. I’ll do a teaching with Pastor Juliet, and later we shall pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
If you look at the slide on your screen, you are going to see a slide about the water spirit. The Bible is clear in the book of Job chapter 41; it talks about Leviathan. But the Lord promises in Isaiah 27 how He is going to punish the thing called Leviathan.
Let’s first go in the book of Isaiah 27 and verse 1. Isaiah 27, verse 1. Let’s read it together; Pastor is going to read for us:
"Tonight is a unique battle in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
Bring Isaiah chapter 27 verse 1.
We’re reading verse 1 only:
"In that day, the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan, the fleeing serpent, Leviathan, that twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea."
So according to that scripture, the Lord Himself is the one who deals with it. Now, Leviathan is the king of the proud. If you look at the scripture, if you look at Job chapter 41 and verse 34:
"Job 31, 24, 34. Job chapter 41 verse 34. He who is king over all the children of pride. He beholds high things; he is king over all the children of pride."
Yes. So because it’s the issue of pride that caused Satan to rebel, to revolt against God in heaven when he said, "I will exalt my throne above the throne of God. I'll be like the Most High. I'll be like God."
So the first sin—the root of all sin, that iniquity was pride. And today, because it’s pride—sometimes and oftentimes it is not easy. I can say it’s impossible for you to deal with your pride; only God, in His authority; you submit to Him, and He deals with Leviathan.
In fact, if you look at Job chapter 41, He tells you who can deal with him, who can touch him. You can’t even bind him; it’s so powerful. This Serpentine power in the waters is so powerful!
It is the water spirit called, and the face of Leviathan is a seductive image. Leviathan pride is seductive. If you look at the slide there, the face of Leviathan is like a woman in the waters—a woman in the world.
There’s a slide that is coming on your screen right now—a woman in the water because it works where you see water, you see immorality, you see lust, you see sexual immorality. I believe they can give us the slides there if we can have them.
So, the face of Leviathan is the seductive spirit. Yes, yes! The Lord is going to deliver us, deliver marriages, deliver children, amen! Deliver ministers from seducing spirits—seducing spirits, in the name of Jesus Christ.
So, the face of Leviathan is the seductive woman. Yes, it talks about her in the book of Revelation, and even in Proverbs. If we open to Proverbs, there’s a scripture about the adulterous woman that says, be wise; do not follow her—chapter 5, verse 1.
Verse 1 of Proverbs:
"My son, pay attention to my wisdom; lend your ear to my understanding that you may preserve discretion and your lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey and her mouth is smoother than oil. But in the end, she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps lay hold of hell. Lest you ponder her path of life, her ways are unstable; you do not know them. Lest you give your honor to others and your years to the cruel one. Lest aliens be filled with your wealth, and your labors go to the house of a foreigner, and you mourn at last when your flesh and your body are consumed, and say, 'How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised correction! I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me.’”
Have you seen? You can stop the passage there.
Do you see this woman—the seductive spirit, or the water spirit, or Leviathan? It looks harmless, but when it gets you, as a man of God or as any man, it rests your body, wastes your ears, wastes the anointing, and your wealth.
That's the reason today I felt stronger. Tonight we are dealing with a very subtle, very serious dangerous spirit, and I thought I can't deal with it alone; I need your support with me tonight. Because the battle we are dealing with is the Seducer—the spirit that destroys marriages and destroys men of God and destroys the anointing.
But behind it, the root is pride. Now it will fast lift you and flutter you with flattery. You feel you are invisible. You were not invisible, but invisible—meaning you are so powerful. You are irreplaceable; you’re so anointed you don’t need to—you know it all. Everyone is praising you; the nations are waiting for you; kings are calling you.
And that is the gate of your failure because now you have been seduced. You have been flattered that you can even—they can deceive you. You are so anointed, and you can sleep around; you can do all kinds of things because God depends on you.
You know, you are so anointed, you’re so powerful that the kingdom of God depends on you. You know, look at all the masses!
And that’s when you are—and I want to warn my brothers and sisters watching right now, especially you that God is about to use mightily in your nation and your city. One other thing you need to watch is Leviathan, which brings pride and the seductive spirit.
That’s why I said the face of Leviathan, if you look at my illustration, the face of Leviathan is the face that is that woman. But the Bible talks about the punishment.
What is her punishment? Now if you covenant with Leviathan, this is the punishment:
"In that day, the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan, the fleeing serpent, Leviathan, the twisted serpent."
And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.
Okay, so as I said in the beginning, Pastor Juliet, maybe you need something? Do you want to say something before I proceed?
No, I proceed!
Okay, now Leviathan, being that, it's the Lord who punishes him.
Okay, His kingdom, it’s called that demonic Kingdom of pride—that is the kingdom. Yes.
That demonic kingdom, could you speak louder, please? That’s the kingdom of Leviathan. Yes, the kingdom of Leviathan is the kingdom of pride, and the King, actually, that’s what it’s all about in Job chapter 41, verse 34.
The king! Yes, Job chapter 41, verse 34:
"It beholds every high thing; he is king over all the children of pride.”
Pride! And I have seen, maybe you can see it in your place of work or in different societies where a man feels like he’s God—yes, feels like he can do—and I’m saying some of you have been attacked by sons of Leviathan who are so proud, who are so proud that they think they can kill, they can replace you; they do not fear God.
You see? But listen to what my Bible says today.
Okay, pride causes us to lean on our own understanding, which is at the very least limited. Just a minute—yes, every time we depend on our own understanding which is limited, of course, in the eyes of God, but even in the sense of God then our king is Leviathan, who is Satan himself. Every time we depend on our own understanding, we appear to be proud before God.
Yes, so we cut God’s infinite wisdom and unlimited strength and provision out of the picture, and we set ourselves up for failure and burnout, among other things.
Another point: when someone is affected by this pride, it destroys covenant relationships.
That’s very powerful! Pride, water spirits, Leviathan destroys covenant relationships.
This spirit breaks up marriages, business partnerships, friendships, and worst of all, churches! Yes! It breaks marriages, businesses, friendships, and churches!
You look at what I’m talking about today: that when it breaks your marriage, it also goes for your business. Then it goes for your friends. Pride breaks friendships!
Today, people do not have friends.
Yes! People do not have covenant friends.
There are friends I have who I call covenant friends, who have been friends for over 10 years, and I know this is a covenant friend. I can do whatever it takes for my friend.
And pride—sometimes you have a disagreement, and you say, "I don’t need you; you don’t need me." Go your way! Go my way! And that’s pride!
Yes! You don’t want to reconcile; you always say, "You need me more than I need you!" And that’s pride in you! So you cannot fight to keep a friend; you just keep casting them out because of pride.
And that is what destroys many marriages—proudful people. When the spirit is in you, and you become proudful, yes? Honoring covenant is not possible.
They do not see the blessings of walking in covenant because of pride.
Today, hear me! The contention has been about your covenants. Satan fights so much that you are not in covenant with anyone—not in covenant with God, not in covenant with your wife, no covenant with your pastor—because he knows the power of your spiritual power is in your covenants.
Our spiritual power is in our covenants—with our husband, wife, pastor, or even a friend or a partner. Our spiritual strength is in our covenants!
Some people are giving a report here that they want to hear your voice louder; I don’t know what the—maybe you can speak a bit louder!
Our spiritual strength is in our covenants—with our husbands, wives, pastors, and even our children. Our partners in ministry, partners in business, those are our strength because we always depend on each other.
So when someone says, "Hey, you will go, you will go my way; I don’t need you." You can’t stand alone!
Everywhere you go, you’ll need someone. You will need a leader above you. You’ll need a husband above you. You’ll need a pastor above you. Even in your office, you’ll need a boss above you!

I’m praying today as we battle for your covenants.
Yeah, covenant in marriages! I’m praying for your marriage, I’m praying for businesses, and I’m praying you know that there are things you have today you wouldn’t have them if there were no people in your life as your covenant partners. Yes!
You trust them with your money; you trusted them with your life; you trusted them with things. And today you are prospering because of partnerships, because of covenants!
I’m telling you, brother and sister, you can’t make it alone! Yes! You cannot! You cannot!
You only succeed according to the covenants, the partnerships, the hands!
I wouldn’t be what I am without Pastor Juliet, and she wouldn’t do what she is without me. It’s partnerships! Covenants!
The contention today—the fight, what it says in the spirit—is about covenants. Covenant friends, covenant partners, partnerships!
Pray a lot! You can pray for hours, but you don’t see breakthrough until you understand the importance of partnerships and covenants. Until you understand this man, this girl, this lady, this brother is not just a member of the church; this is my covenant partner.
We are working together; I am serving him; he’s serving me. I need him; he needs me. And the moment we know that and we defend it, then we succeed in life.
We succeed spiritually; we succeed in life! And I pray in the name of Jesus today for your covenant friends, for your covenant partners, for your covenant ministers.
Some ministries, you only prosper if you begin covenanting with other ministries, with other men of God! You cannot be it alone!
You need to covenant! You need to bring other men of God on board! You walk together, and the devil hates that with passion!
So we continue. I want us to go quickly into that.
With covenant, you have to be willing to compromise, to give and take, to hear and sometimes act on behalf of another. That’s a principle you must be willing to quote.
But Leviathan hardens the hearts of those he possesses, causing them to reject covenant—evencovenant with God!
They reject covenant with God; people controlled by Leviathan do not value others! Yes!
Yes! People controlled by Leviathan do not value others!
They don’t value friendship! Therefore, they cannot honor others by keeping their word to them!
That slide is there. People controlled by Leviathan do not value others!
Yes! Do not value others! They, therefore, cannot honor others by keeping their words!
You see? What someone said, "I will come at 10." He comes at 10:30, and he’s not bothered! They don’t know that’s a covenant—they’ve broken a covenant of time!
We covenanted to meet at 10; you come at 10:30. You’ve broken covenant!
As simple as that! It’s a covenant! If I say we are meeting at seven, and because you do not honor others, you don’t even honor their time! You don’t keep your word!
And behind that is pride; behind that is a water spirit! No wonder they call it African time!
Because I think water spirits are working so much in Africa—African time!
So they can tell a service and do whatever they want; they do not honor others!

So the Leviathan spirit can only be overcome through the supernatural activity of God’s spirit—not by any human means.
Now how do I engage? How do I invite God to deal with it—Leviathan?
Yes, because this spirit produces hardness of heart in people, making it even more difficult to bring those being used by this spirit to the repentance they need. A hard heart is behind it—the spirit of pride!
Sure! Every time one does not keep his or her word, behind that is pride! Every time someone fails to keep their word, it is pride!
Every time someone dishonors another, behind it is pride!
And dishonoring someone appears in so many things—it can be your wife or your husband—not keeping your word to even a friend—all that is pride!
Okay, but the Bible says, I say that now it’s the Lord who will deal with it. In the book of Psalm 74, verse 14, the Bible says, “You crushed the heads of Leviathan in pieces and gave him for food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.”
That is defeating the weapon with fasting. What defeats pride? Yes! What defeats water spirits is fasting!
What defeats pride? Yes! What defeats water spirits is fasting! Amen!
David said in the book of Psalm 35, verse 13:
"You know it’s about warfare—that Psalm 35 talks about getting the children back on a fight for me."
Yeah! But in verse 13, he says,
"I humbled my soul with fasting."
Amen! Amen! I humbled my soul with fasting!
Yes! So the psalmist knew that humility is a great weapon against pride!
Humility is a great weapon against pride!
It also invites the grace of God! Amen! Into the battle to give another level of strength against this stubborn demon!
When we fast, we have our souls! Yes! Deliverance from Leviathan brings peace, favor, joy, and liberty!
Yes! Okay, now this is how it operates in general:
Through water altars, through water churches, through water prophets, and priests, yes! Through water thrones, yes! And then it manifests as pride in the bloodline, yes?
As familiar spirits at the fountain, yes? As burning lust of the eyes!
Yes?
I wanted to go through that—it manifests as pride!
Now it becomes in the bloodline! Then familiar spirits at the fountain and burning lust of the eyes.
Maybe let’s ask her, what is the fountain?
The fountain is the flow of life!
Jesus said, "Streams of living water shall flow out of you!"
Yes! See, it is the fountain that spreads the fear of the Lord! All right?
It is the seat of worship and prophecy! So pride comes and takes over!
Oh! It becomes enthroned on the seat—it is the founding; that’s where the Holy Spirit is hosted!
So what familiar spirits do, and what spirts do, they send familiar spirits to overtake!
Yeah! The throne—the seat of worship!
So, what’s the familiar spirit?
In other words, friends, I said that this day is special!
Pride now comes upon your life and then brings something old and dangerous—familiar spirit!
The problem today is we have people who are prophesying, who are getting dreams, but by familiar spirits!
Yes! And they say, "God said; I saw it," but—saw it, but what was the source?
Out of your pride, your familiar spirit has come up!
Okay, so what is a familiar spirit?
Let’s get an explanation!
Yes! A familiar spirit is a demonic stronghold—a monitoring stronghold that monitors people from conception, networking with their environment, their residence, their school, their workplace, and any other environment profitable to their destiny!
In other words, it is a demonic stronghold that monitors people’s destiny!
Yes, because your destiny is always mapped, and it monitors all the places, yes?
But then when you get a dream about your school, about your place, where you live, or a place, you think, "This is God!"
Yes! This demon now has monitored your life and mapped your life!
Yes! For me, familiar and—yes! Familiar spirits have thorough knowledge of the individual's family and environment, so they can easily deceive, seduce, or entice people into similar acts which cause curses!

You find someone living in sin, and they believe it’s God and they promote it!
Then, another one is the incubi and the psychopathic spirits!
Yes! But also through necromancy—necromites, those who divine with the dead!
Then addictions! And lastly, deceiving spirits!
Someone cast them out in the name of Jesus!
Yes! We cast out perverse behaviors, in the name of Jesus!
We divorce in the name of Jesus!
We root out necromancy in the name of Jesus!
Bind and destroy drug addition in the name of Jesus!
And we cast out deceiving spirits in Jesus' name! Amen! Amen!
Now, I wanted to get this. What are we doing today? We’re not going to bind. Because the Bible tells us that you bind it, and see what will happen to you!
Whoever God fights!
Yes! We are going to call the voice of the Lord!

We’re going to step aside and let the Lord fight this battle!

With my pastor—have I been humble? Have I always been out pride?
What is pride between me and you, Lord?
Even when I come before you, Lord, do I come in pride?
I have been asking you questions, and it is very important for your life, for your deliverance.
You are single, you are anointed, you are praying to God to use you mightily!
But are you not asking that out of pride?
Yes!
Lord, if you’re not rooted, look at the pride in your parents, the pride in your tribe, the pride in your mother’s family.
And look at how great men who have been destroyed because of pride—
They could not take counsel; they would not take advice!
Look at your father; he would have been how he is if he was humble enough to take the advice of his wife!
He used not to take advice from his wife; he ended up making decisions that have caused the whole family to suffer!
Yeah! And today God wants to deal with that!
Now your grandfather, out of pride, he disinherited himself; he left his property; he left his land because he could not humble himself to repent, or to apologize, or to be humble and wait for his time.
What am I dealing with today? It’s a seed of pride, especially in the bloodline!
Yes! And it may be what has been hindering you to get what God wants you to achieve—including your marriage!
It may be what is blocking your marriage that you just need to humble yourself and say, "Lord, let your will be done!"
Not as I will! Not what I want!
Not you give me my desire! But I want you to do your will.
If this is the sister, this is the brother, if this is what you want me to do, I surrender my life.
And I let you move in my life according to your will!
Because you need to come to a place where you don’t just pray, but you pray to God and God answers you!
You speak to God, and you hear His voice!
But it is in humility that you can hear the voice of the Lord!
Because it is a still small voice!

I feel the Lord wants you to pray for them!
I have seen you are a very submissive wife; the years I’ve been married—I won’t tell you this lady is so very submissive!
And I know it’s a trait!
I don’t know, because I see even when we do ministry, when we walk, even at home, even in the ministry here, you completely submit to me as your husband, though you’re my pastor!
So I want you to pray for the young ladies that are getting married this year, those that are married!
I want you to pray for previous marriages where wives are struggling in the area of submission!
And pray for your daughters, our spiritual daughters, who are saying, "I need to get married!"
But something has been blocking me!
Release them into their marriages!
Release those ministries!
I feel you have the grace to pray for the women in the area of submission because you practice it, and you know the benefit!

But before I even pray for the young ladies, especially those who want to get married, even those who are married, unless you teach yourself to be obedient you cannot submit!
Submission requires obedience!
Obedience is the ground on which we can submit to our husbands, because there is no way we can obey God, who we say that we serve when we cannot obey the physical person before us—maybe our husband or our pastors or any authority above us!
So let me pray for you because submission first of all, it rewards!
If we want God to reward us as women, if we are to see the benefits of being a woman, if we are to see the benefits of being a wife, if we are to see our marriages principal, then we have to be submissive to our husbands!
Every time we disobey our husbands, we block the blessings of our marriages!
That’s why the Lord taught me!
And those are not married; what should they do?
And those who are not yet married—every time you are submit, every time in your life God will give an authority above you!
So the authority you submit to is the authority that will become the opening door into your marriage!

Father, I thank you for every woman, every young woman who’s not yet married but wants to get married.
I believe many women out there tomorrow—because of pride, the man you have brought into their lives, all these men who want to be their husbands—they want to get married to men of their own choice.
But if I’m not, Lord, to get married to Pastor James, maybe today I would not be in my mind!
Actually, the truth is, I would not be in my destiny!
But Father, I pray that you give grace to every woman who is not yet married but wants to get married—that you give her grace to obey you!
Because when she obeys you and submits to you, this is when you give her the right husband from your throne—the husband of your own will!

My question is: how is your relationship with your wife?
Your relationship with your wife determines the progress of your business! Yes!
The progress of your finances and the progress of your ministry!
Are you faithful?

I know there are many today—our time is past spent!
But I feel Pastor Juliet should pray for healing for the wives that have been wounded, and they can’t submit!
They want to, but they are wounded!
And I want to ask that every wound becomes a battlefield; it becomes a stronghold!
And I’m telling my brothers, my men watching right now: if your wife submits to you, you prosper!

But for what?
Submit to you!
There must be a character in you, a personality that causes her to submit!

Women were created to submit! But they submit to what they have to submit to a character!
