[Music] Killer beats in the hood. [Music] That ain't it. [Music] What it good be, hope it should be. It's your boy N.O.R.E. What up? It's DJ EFN. It's military crazy. War y'ya make? [Applause] Some. And when I tell you, as an elder statesman in hip-hop, as a person that came before, when I see people holding down this, this, this, this new generation, this new style of hip-hop, this new wave, this is one of the most proudest of the proudest I am. This brother, this brother just dropped an album. It's not even an album, but he went song for song. Nobody on it by himself. Let's y'all know what the [ __ ] is wrong with y'all. Then he got billions and billions, the streams pop it, billions. He's holding down his whole city. MH, mhm. He's countless hits after hits after hits, and you don't want to go on stage after him.
Oh, absolutely not. I wouldn't recommend it. Ask the promoter to go first. I swear to God, swear to God. Promoter, tell you, in case you don't know who we talking about. I keep going, but I want to get, I want to get into this interview so bad. Case you don't know, the one of the [ __ ] baby, introduce my thank now. I heard somewhere that you said every time the people say "the baby," it sounds like it's white.
Yeah, yeah. When I first, you know what I mean, switched to that name or whatever it, I still don't say, you know, you hear me say "baby" before you hear me say it. Just don't, you know, I don't really, you know, I mean, that ain't the way I would have put that together, but it worked out for me, you know what I'm saying? So, you know, cheers to the baby. Hold on. You know what? You know what I usually drink? Japanese whiskey, or I usually drink, drink stole these Elite, but we are celebrating your day. I'm so proud. So today we drinking Shar day, man. Come on, let's pour it up. Let's thr, let's throw that up, please. P that glass. We celebrating your day. Mother, be honest with you, talk to me.
I'll be honest with you. For a lot of people that went through what you went through, and then for you to come out and drop a project, stellar project, appr, I can't lie to you, I kept listening to it, kept listening to it, kept listening to it, 'cause I'm like, why would he do it all by himself? When this is the time he can show his power and show that, you know, that is showing power though, when you do it by yourself. That's, that's not only showing power, it's showing that I know I could do this [ __ ] by myself. I know I don't need nobody. But that was like, that was like, that's so beautiful to me. And the [ __ ] is hard. Appreciate you. This [ __ ] is hard. I'm so proud of you, my brother.
About that, that's really like my first time like really putting my heart in the project, you know what I'm saying? Like years, you know, I mean, so that's really, you know, the way, the way [ __ ] is receiving it, that [ __ ] spot on with what I put into it. You mean that's, that's so beautiful. Now, now um, it's called, it's called how the [ __ ] is this a mixt, the [ __ ] is this a mix? Don't understand, but it's on the label. Goddamn it. [ __ ] Toast it to the, what I told her, I look, I don't really want the ice, but I'm going leave it right here. [ __ ] is cute. Cheers, my [ __ ]. I appreciate you. I appreciate so, let's explain to all a person like me. When we dropped a mixtape, that was the opposite of what it actually meant. It meant that this is when we step outside the label, but this is, this is a mixtape that is on the label.
Yeah, the labels adopted that now. For sure, for sure. Yeah, yeah. So can you explain to people like for my generation? Yeah, I mean, really, really the whole, the whole mixtape part of, I was really working on the album, you know what I mean? Which it, I'm still following right up with that [ __ ]. That's what, you know, I mean, [ __ ] probably don't know, you know what I'm saying? But the, the fact that me calling it a mixtape, it's more so 'cause it's, it's, it's that raw [ __ ], it's me. I, I feel like I ain't put my heart in this [ __ ] for so long, I kind of fell out of love with this [ __ ], and you know, I took some time, got back around. So it's like, it's more of a reintroduction to me to the fans, like I'm really on some [ __ ], like, like my, my mindset is like, like I don't know how the [ __ ] I'mma pay my rent next month type [ __ ]. You get what I'm saying? I'm on, I'm on that like when it comes to like the grind, H marketing and [ __ ], it's like I ain't, I ain't went diamond with a song before. You get what I'm saying? I ain't eight-time Grammy nominated, none of this [ __ ], like I'm coming like a a [ __ ] trying to, trying to make it out still. You get what I'm saying? That's my approach. So that's why I definitely put the mixtape, you know what I mean, the, the stamp on there, would it be a mixtape, but I still released the [ __ ], you know what I mean? As if it was a a full body of work. None of my, none of my full-length projects, I don't even think have 14, 14 songs on. You get what I'm saying? So I really, you know, I, I got tired of doing that like three songs at a time, [ __ ] of dropping a single that I know I can make go crazy in the clubs or whatever, and you know, generate some [ __ ] shows or whatever, and just chase some paper. I'm like, n [ __ ] that, let me goddamn, you know, let me, let me give them me, you know what I mean? Unfiltered, unapologetically, and I covered all bases on that [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? Checked all the boxes and put that [ __ ] out there. A good dope going to sell itself, and it gives you like creative freedom. When you call it, exactly, you know, and, and that, that was one of the things that really made me, you know what I'm saying, lose touch with this [ __ ] and kind of begin to, goddamn man, I, I ain't really [ __ ] with this [ __ ] right now, like all the politics that come with it in, in the business, you know. When the business get, don't look, don't get me wrong, I don't take it for granted, 'cause the business was big. So when the business big, you get what I'm saying, it's factors that come into play, and you know, and, and, and as a hustler in any avenue, you got to respect the game. You got to know, you know what I'm saying, what come with this [ __ ], you know what I'm saying, you know. So as I navigate through this [ __ ] and adjust, more than anything, like adjust to, okay, okay, this how this [ __ ] go, you know what I'm saying? I'm a household name now, like I'm a global artist. I get 400 to show [ __ ]. I can't just, I can't just goddamn, you know what I mean? I go anywhere. I been, not even, I can, I done been all across the world. These [ __ ] can't speak a word, all language, know every one of my songs, you know what I'm saying? Ass out, drop dead if they see me. So it's like, you know, I got to understand, you know, the power and that, and, and you know how I got to maneuver, you know, if I want to keep getting money that way, you know what I'm saying? Just like any other game, if a [ __ ] selling dope, you get what I'm saying? Once you start getting a c, a certain amount of money, it's certain [ __ ] you just, you know, you can't do if you want to keep selling dope and get money. Now you can, you could, you could do you, but then you know, you going to get your ass sat down. We know how this [ __ ] go. You can get back out, they might, you know, still love you, but you just going to have to grind 10 times as hard when you get back out. It's really the same thing if the [ __ ] music business was the dope game [ __ ]. I got caught with the bricks, you feel me? About five years, you get what I'm saying? I didn't got out on good beh, i h, my, my, you know, all my little extracurriculars, I got out on good behavior, and now I'm, I got out, I got out, I got my GED, I got out, you know what I'm saying? I got, I peep the scene. All right, look, who these new [ __ ] getting money, these [ __ ] get money. All right, how they doing it? All right, cool, 'cause I used to do it like this. All right, let me, let me put my spin, what these new [ __ ] doing. All right, cool, here I go, you know what I'm saying? And that's what, that's what, how the [ __ ] is this a mixtape? That's exactly what it is, you man. That's exactly what it embodies. And, and you know, I, my fans, they deserve it. And, and you know, and I appreciate each and every last one of the listeners for holding me accountable over the past four years and not let me get away with just putting out some [ __ ] or throwing out a song, and you know what I'm saying? Playing the money game, throwing out a song that, that I know will catch right now with the trends going on and this and that, and, and them, I'm saying that's enough for me. They know what I'm capable of, so they definitely help me to a certain standard, and that's what, you know, led me to goddamn sit back, reevaluate, and deliver, and I'm going to deliver and deliver. I'm going to stay on these [ __ ] ass, just how I came in.
Let me say something. You said something, I, me and you relate so much, you, you probably don't even know, but through the course of this interview, I'm going to show you how much, but you said something just now that I, I kept studying you, knowing that you was coming up here, and you kept saying it, you kept saying it the same way I said it, but you don't, you don't know what you were saying, right? You were saying, I fell out of love with this [ __ ].
N, for sure, for sure. So, so let me just explain to you, me, I fell out of love with this game too. Yeah, and I fell out of love of this game in my hype right after my, my first platinum album. MH, I'm about just go to it. I'm on my first single world tour. Yeah, my father dies while I'm on tour. Same thing, then, right? I know, no, listen, right after that, P dies. He's not my blood brother, right? But he was like my first friend in hip-hop. So when I'm listening to your story, right, it's damn there aligning all the way. I'm looking like, yo, you said, you said, you know, sometimes as an elder statesman, you be scared to reach out to the youngest, you know what I'm saying? You like, you know, n know who I am or whatever, whatever. But that was the first time, I swear to God, I wish I had your phone number. So I forget where you was at. I think you was on the radio station, you was explaining the story, and the way he was saying it, it's like, yo man, what I'm going through. I was like, I wanted to be like [ __ ]. So man, I, I'd appreciated that, that would have been welcome. I've been wanting to reach out to you, like, I swear to God, and I see you in a club, and it wasn't the time for that, and I was like, I looked leaned over to like, and I was like, you know what, I'mma see him again, you know what I'm saying? So let me just tell you something, when my father died, Chris Lighty came to see me. Yeah, and I was on tour, and he basically said, y you paying for your pops' funeral, but you got to stay on tour. Like, not in a gangsta way, but in a way like, want that, you know what I'm saying? Like you finally made it to where it's at, and I had swallowed that [ __ ] up. I never, I never, I never grieved. And P died. So when I heard you say that [ __ ], then when I heard you also say you fell out of love after that, I dropped the album called Melvin Flint, right? Melvin Flint, I had got all this upfront money. Yeah, and I went in, and I didn't have, I, I didn't have the love for it, but I had to admit that later. For you to admit that at the young age that you are, like you a [ __ ] grown like that. [ __ ] is like, I'm relating to the same exact pain, and I'm like, and I went through it before, but yo bro, I promise you, like that [ __ ] is crazy for you to admit that at the top of your level, that I, I fell out of love. Like, absolutely. Why? What, what make you be so honest with your fans like that?
Man, I ain't, it ain't, I ain't got nothing left that I can do at this point, you get what I'm saying? 'Cause I ain't, you know, if I wanted to, the, the fake the funk anymore, I could have did that a couple years ago and been, you know, been trying to, he, I land a helicopter on top of this [ __ ]. I, I don't drive cars, you know what I'm saying? But n man, it's like, you know, like, like morals and principles, and, and above all that pain, all that [ __ ], man, this [ __ ] real, man, this [ __ ] real deal, you know what I mean? And you know, like I say, like I say, when I, when I had conversations with other people, like on hindsight, I look at, you know, what a [ __ ] that been through career-wise, I look at that [ __ ] is a blessing now, you know what I'm saying? I don't even say blessing in the skies no more, it's, it's wide out in the open, 'cause I, I needed time to sit my ass down, just like I used to say, like you can relate. Okay, I can, I can talk to somebody that can relate now, right? If it's, if it's when you just went platinum, when you boom, and you bumping, you got so many different avenues, you know what I'm saying, with your hustle to goddamn just, you know, distract you. This, this what we do, and then we already custom to this [ __ ] coming from the cloth that we cut from anyway, you get what I'm saying? This how it go, you do for losses, you do for this, you do for that, you got to jug through it, you got to keep hustling, you get what I'm saying? So with that being said, like I'm the hottest artist in the world, I got two, three things to do every day. I was doing three B shows a day, you know what I mean? After the video I dropped in 12, my first 12 months as a mainstream artist, I dropped three projects. The first one had sh, first one was Baby on Baby, I had all that on it, then it was Kirk, number one album, then the one after that had Rockstar on it, father. So that's, I, my father executive producer. See what I'm saying? You like, you see how crazy this [ __ ] is? I'm like, yo, I'm tell you, I've been wanting to connect with you for a long time, but yo, that's crazy, man, like that's C, I know what you going through, 'cause like you ain't never going, and you know, did he get to see your success? Like he did, like he just saw it, and then got, you know, and, and shot. Like my last text I got from him is him, you know what I mean? Really saluting me, right, as a man, man, the man salute me like [ __ ], you did it, you showed me, you showed me you went against the grain, you got, you to see your whole first album. Yeah, he got to see that [ __ ] drop, he got to hear that [ __ ], he heard that [ __ ], right? He heard, he got to hear, see him after I dropped it. I didn't get to see him, it was maybe like a week after, you know what I'm saying, that he passed. My, my little brother called me and told me, goddamn, that he passed, they found him, they found him uh, dead at his crib, you know what I mean? So like me dropping Kirk, that was my way of honoring him and carrying the last name. I had already, he really had already told me I did it, and that was the thing, like that was the difference when it came like my pops and that, it being at that point in the life, like I was able to goddamn, you know, cope with that a little bit more, 'cause I, I went and did, you know, that's, that's all a man want for they goddamn son and kids, period. Goddamn, see them go, goddamn, come on now. You get what I'm saying? So I was, you know, with that, I'm still, you know, [ __ ] up about it, but at the same time, it's like, at least he goddamn got to see his goddamn firstborn son do that. You, he'd be smiling down. My drinking you, man. Sorry that we had to rate that, but I, to out, I forgot who I thought was managing you at the time, and you know, I messed up because I, I wanted to keep pursuing, and I was like, you know what, but yeah, man, um, so another thing that I see as you saying, like you kind of don't [ __ ] with the industry, right? M, um, is that still me? It's cool. Well, well, when you say industry, what you mean? Like, like you know the people that you know participate in this, you know, I, I, I happen to, you know, what, you know exactly, I know exactly what you mean. You say industry, you, I'm acting like you ain't got to do [ __ ].
No, I don't. And it ain't, I don't, you know what I'm saying? I don't, and it ain't even like, don't, don't [ __ ] with the people in the industry, but just, you know, just, just the way that you, you know what I'm saying, the system that's in place, and, and you know, and, and how they got it set up to where, you know, you got to maneuver a certain way in order, that's what you feel me. So you know, I'm kind of like my DNA, like the way I'm set up, just as a, as an individual, period, you know, it's going to conflict with that. I'm, I'm not, you know, I, I don't follow the Cool Kids Club. I, I'm not, I ain't never been on none of that, you know what I mean? That ain't how I came in, right? You know what I'm saying? I can't never even see myself adjusting to that, you know, when I'm in this [ __ ]. If I link with a [ __ ], I'm trying to get to, okay, we doing like we, you know what I'm saying? Like my whole first sh, and I'm, you know, just about everybody want to, want to get up with me, the way I got them had it rocking, but I was never on no, you know, oh, I just found a friend, you know what I mean? Amongst what I'm doing, and yeah, this my, you know, whooooop. So yeah, and long story short, no, I don't [ __ ] with all it, yeah, all that extra [ __ ], I don't [ __ ] with what you got, 'cause that's what I'm saying, what I'm trying to clarify, it ain't like [ __ ] everybody in the goddamn, no, but it's just like [ __ ] who don't understand it, you know, that you can still thrive, like I got here being myself, like you feel me? I got to the top being myself, you dig what I'm saying? Like I got all the way to the top being myself, so it's like, you know, for [ __ ] that don't understand that, you don't got to get to a certain level, you don't work this hard, make all these sacrifices, lose all these people along the way that you could have gave more of your time too.
Along the way, all this [ __ ] you don't do all this [ __ ], it's okay. Even though it's unusual, that's the thing. These [ __ ] ain't it. It's completely un- it's strange, the [ __ ], but like you don't got to do all that. And godamn, you know, be controlled and and follow, you know, what what somebody else godamn feel like they path is for you or whatever. Yeah, I'm marketable as hell, right? Yeah, I'm godamn, yeah, I can make music that can top the pop charts. You get what I'm saying? I got songs with this Latin artist, this artist from the UK, this artist, this artist, like I every every [ __ ] category, you know what I'm saying? Every box you can check, I check that [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? Within like 12 months prior to co- even hitting it, it's nothing short of a blessing. But it's like [ __ ] got to understand like like even though it's unusual, you know, you might want to come to terms like I'm I'm just, you know, I just simply had the ability to do that [ __ ] and still be myself. You get what I'm saying? I ain't got to, you know, flip the [ __ ] all the way over and and become a different person. But also, that's for me to understand, and that's why I'm at with this [ __ ] to, you know, I'm in a season to like hold myself accountable. So it's up to me to understand [ __ ], cuz I know how to play the game anyway. Like that's how I got here; like I know how to play the game. So it's up to me to know when to when to cut that [ __ ] off. Still, that I got in me, a [ __ ] play the game, get the money, you know what I'm saying? Maneuver through, you know, shake the hands, kiss the babies. But I still ain't going to shake a hand, I ain't going to kiss a baby that ain't it. It's simple, bro, like you know. So my boy just got to understand that, and it's up to me, you know, to lean towards the [ __ ] who celebrate me for that and who honor that and respect that and not to never get lost in the sauce and feel like I owe it to the [ __ ] who hating on a [ __ ] anyway to begin to give all my attention and [ __ ] to them, start making songs about the [ __ ] [ __ ] and the haters and the [ __ ] that don't get this [ __ ]. It was never for them anyway. That's why I can run into real [ __ ] years later and godamn it be like [ __ ], I've been wanting to bump teeth likewise, you know what I'm saying? So it's like, yeah, man. So uh uh word of advice to to any other artist, whatever, you know, when you if you if you have the [ __ ], the the pleasure, if you blessed enough to be able to get to a certain level to where it requires you to, you know, to where it's opportunities for you to to go a different route than than what you you know than what you know, you know, a different route than what you was raised in to get way more money or to do this or to do that, you know, take your time navigating through that [ __ ]. Don't let [ __ ] set you off and you know and just make impulsive decisions and godamn and and and throw yourself way off your rocket. It's a much smoother way to stand on business. You ain't got to do it the way I did it. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, it's all good, but you know what I want you to do though, always keep an open eye because sometime like you know sometimes a person will come to you, person will come to you and and and be industry and be all but be a real [ __ ] at the end of the day. You understand, saying so like and I had the pleasure running in in a few of them. Two are my my best friends. They always say, you know, don't be friends with nobody in jail. I got two best friends that I've been friends with for 25, 30 years, maybe 35 years, that I met in jail. And I got two other [ __ ] that I met um in the industry that, you know what I mean? Not everybody ain't ain't it ain't it, but you know I I I noticed that pun when um I first met Pun, I was on some I don't want to meet nobody [ __ ], and he was like, you Puerto Rican? And I was like, yeah. And he was like, well, you going to be my friend? Take this ice gr off. And I laugh, and me and him been friends ever since. I I mean, God bless his dad, you know what I'm saying? So I always want you to keep that open mind because cuz I can tell you have a good soul, I can tell you have a good spirit. One thing for sure, two things for certain, every time I seen you, you smiled for sure. You know what I know it's about, that's a [ __ ] you don't want to [ __ ] with cuz he protecting his peace for sure, man. You like this how I talk about you, we not here, I can tell anything that you ever got into them [ __ ] [ __ ] with you, I can tell because your smile is too genuine. Like when a [ __ ] smile like that, you that's leave me the [ __ ] alone. N facts, facts. Let me do my little one too. You know what I'm saying is that the truth, that's that ain't nothing but the truth, that ain't nothing but the truth, you a tell, not one lie, not one lie, man. That's what it is, and I feel like you know a part of that, like the way the way a [ __ ] smile, the way a [ __ ] carry yourself, a [ __ ] not being too tough for itself all the time. I feel like you know that also attract them type [ __ ] that feel like that's something that man, that's something I can kind of probably I can probably get something out of playing with that, you know what I mean? And then that lead to, you know, all the type [ __ ] that they lead to, right, right. You know what I mean? They one time they tried to make you check in and you like, oh man, stop, stop, don't check it in. Yeah, n man, lucky I ain't I was so I was in the middle of shooting a music video and [ __ ] and um I was in the a I was in Atlanta. Uh-huh. But I had on like basketball shorts or something, this before I even popped, so I had on like basketball shorts, like a basketball jersey, a thermal on up under it, some some regular [ __ ] dope boy swag type [ __ ], but I had on basketball shorts, so I had to put my gun in the car, it would have fell out, you know what I mean? And then my my brother he was with me, it was just we was just too deep out there at the video shoot, but my brother he was with me, we had ordered some uh some piz- it was like a Domino's, right at the end of the neighborhood, right outside the neighborhood, like right as you turning in, Domino's out there. We had ordered the [ __ ] was ready, so bro at just I'm about to go grab the pizza. All right, cool. I wasn't tripping, no way. Now I did have I still had I had another gun. All right, so I'm from North Carolina, by the way, and and I'm not a felon. So I'm from North Carolina, I'm not a felon, so we allowed to, you know, any gun that I mention I, you know, I'm allowed to have that. Yeah, I'm allowed to have it, you know what I mean? I'm allowed to put it on you too, but uh he know he knows it's right. No, for sure. So so even that one I had it like right if you see I was on the porch, it was like a little little end table right there in the couch right inside the door, so I I had another one right there, but I wasn't paying it on mine, and I ain't really feel, you know, if I'd have felt it was that I mean if I had have felt it was that, I would have grabbed that. But see that was my little pocket rocket, that's the one I used to sneak in the club, hide behind the iPhone, hold the phone like this type [ __ ], you know, saying you got you got one you got you got one of them with you, let me see it. I can show them, never mind, never mind, we got to do all that in Florida, this Florida, Flor. So you get the picture. I just like I'm an artist, I'm an illustrator, I paint pictures with my words. My bad, I try to get too little, so you know that's still only six shots. It's about 16 [ __ ] out here, so I'm like 22, 22. N hell no, hell no, hell no. That's 38, 22. I would have had it on, that ain't going to fall nowhere, that's you know that going my goddamn shoe or something. 380, okay, you know I mean, probably had like six shots, but long story short, what I'm saying is if I would have had the other gun, the godamn Brad just pulled off with, yeah, I would have had them [ __ ] running, it would have been even more of a viral video. I have sent them [ __ ] running up the street, but I still, you know, posted up, it happened how it happened. I posted up and uh and stayed out there [ __ ] intentionally like super late to like like 12, 12 at midnight or some [ __ ], all right, you know what I mean? Now I'm going to bounce around a little bit. Talk to me, what's going on with this Carolina floods? I don't know, that [ __ ] really ain't hit us like that. I was in New York thec yeah man was I was really up around y'all way when sh was happening, good. I'm like we don't got it bad in Charlotte. Oh really? Yeah, so it was it was the other areas, I'm guessing it's the areas with like high land like mountains and [ __ ] and then the areas near the water. But yeah, Carolina usually flood. I've never heard n not too crazy, not like what it was a Hurrican. No, no, list Geographic. No, it was a hurricane, it went it went up through Florida, through Georgia and went up to the Carolina. But so you know North Carolina on the East Coast though, so you just go right along, you know, but it came through the through the gulf. He's right about that part, it came through the gulf, but know more than I know, I really I saw it on social Med, like it really ain't get too much like news coverage for real, for not that I know, but I don't it devastated that area. I see the [ __ ], I've been seeing, I see it, so I got to, you know, I got to figure out how the [ __ ] I can goddamn look into there, see if it's a thing or two I could do, you know I mean? Now before you um it was it uh besides, I believe Pety Pablo was from North Carolina, right? North Carolina. And before you there like there was no one, you got J J Cole, J J Cole, but even him like he kind of came in through Queens and through J uh Jay-Z. Um, how hard was it you from you coming from Charlotte and the Carolina um to break into the business because I heard that you you paid for your own first mixtape. Yeah, hell yeah. Heard you was going to the club yourself more than the first one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was running around, was overcharging you and everything. Yeah, yeah, did yeah, he did. We just he know it too. Shout out to my boy. I had I had a chip on my shoulder for a long time, but we we interviewed my boy, shout out to my boy. Yeah, shout out to Crazy fig. So we interviewed him for the documentary, and he actually like openly, this wasn't even me asking the questions, it was somebody else, but it led to him saying yeah, you know, cuz they asked him like his first impression on me, he was like [ __ ], I really was, you know, yeah, I godamn txed him, you know what I'm saying? I wouldn't I ain't really think nothing it I didn't think it was he thought you was a dope boy, like it was he he say godamn and [ __ ] about about six seven months later, a year later, now I'm like damn, and I'm trying to [ __ ] with him and I already know why he like really ain't [ __ ] with me like that. But yeah, I definitely got damn, I definitely made my boy Fig stand on that [ __ ], man. I ain't I ain't like that [ __ ] at all. Then he tried to like not let me finish my songs. I'm going let him tell the story of the documentary, he cuz I paid. So what I did, I'm like I I'm to start rapping yet, find me a [ __ ] that can goddamn make me the beats in front of me to wear all the songs mine and I want to do a whole mixtape. You get what I'm saying? He introduced me to bro and and we had did like the first like I don't know maybe like six seven I don't know how many songs we did and I don't know if he, you know, I mean, ain't nobody ever popped out here, nobody I for real the second I said I'm going to start rapping, I'm trying to be I'm I'm aiming to be in seats like these, the seats I've been in. I was already like I'm better than all them [ __ ], like that's how I was talking, like you saw saw your L yeah off the rip like I was talking like that immediately before I ever even put out a song. I was talking like that, and uh the [ __ ] he he tried to like start like not answering the phone, this and that, all type of [ __ ]. I'm going go done, nah, we wasn't done. He still had ow me like you know 6 s more songs or whatever, but he was in the studio with another rapper, and I pulled up and I came in that [ __ ] and closed the door behind me. God damn he I'm like yeah, and then so we figured it out. I just I skipped it. I let him tell the rest of the stuff. We we figured it out and [ __ ] man and i i y good now. All right, y'all good. Yeah, we good. We got he um what he do he did uh he did Hater Nice Chick on uh on how the [ __ ] is this mixt yeah. He produced Hater Nice Chick. Shout out my boy uh Crazy Figs, man. Yeah. So so coming out the city, not to go around on your question, damn impossible, my [ __ ] like ain't nobody came out, ain't nobody came out since it's it's a lot of talent though, but but talk about working cuz I heard that you would work your own records, you was going to the club. I'm going to the club every day. That's when that's when uh nightclub like nightlife coach was like on fire, Charlotte. They was calling it like the the the next Atlanta at the time. That's when Atlanta, you know what I mean? The nightclub scene was on fire and [ __ ], so [ __ ] was coming up to Atlanta to come party there. That's when we had the CIAA [ __ ] going. You get what I'm saying? Um and all that, so all everybody was coming through that [ __ ] every year anyway. That was a big thing, and not to mention like when we ain't having CIAA, it's something going on in Charlotte, Monday it's this spot guaranteed, Tuesday Onyx, you know what I'm saying? $2 Tuesday, Wednesday this club, Thursday this club, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, every single day it's something going on where it's it's a club guaranteed to go mean. And like the Carolinas a lot of artists know this like that's where the artists come get them bags, they come they come up through there, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, all them goddamn them spots they can you get rich as [ __ ] just off them three states right there. Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom. That's what a lot of artists do. So that being said like it was [ __ ] there damn near every week too in other spots and you know [ __ ] like me a lot of what I where I feel like a lot of [ __ ] gotdamn could have could have did better, what a lot of [ __ ] [ __ ] up at they were just trying to they was okay with being a man in the city, you know what I'm saying? And me like off the rip, I wouldn't even where they probably think I'm on with they on and compete with them. I'm already I'm looking, you know what I'm saying? This way. So I'm in the [ __ ] CDs everywhere I go. I caught the end of the CD era, you know what I mean? So I'm giving CDs that yeah, I if I see anybody I done been down here, you know what I mean? I got CDs, big ass poster boards bigger than my ass with the logo on it, every [ __ ] with me. I got t-shirts made with the logo on it, the name on there, you know what I mean? I got goddamn little flyers and [ __ ], I put it in your car window right there where you got open up your [ __ ] door all over the place. I come in the clubs for them [ __ ], open up, I put the [ __ ]. Yeah, it's me and a couple [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? It's me and a couple [ __ ] doing that [ __ ], and um I'm [ __ ], I go in the in the bathrooms and [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? Before the clubs open, I got the [ __ ] all in the back when you wash your hands, you looking at a goddamn poster of me, two three different colors of them, three different pictures on them [ __ ], social media info, all that [ __ ], the name of the project whatever I'm pushing type [ __ ] in the stall in the girls' bathroom when they coming in, sit down, use the bathroom, they close that door, what's what's up baby, here I go. You get what I'm saying? They can see what's going on, like it was, you know, you couldn't you couldn't avoid a [ __ ]. And then at the same time, I'm coming in, I'm [ __ ] with the DJs, I'm godamn sending them a drink, you get what I'm saying? I'm shooting them a couple dollars, they [ __ ] playing my [ __ ] back to back to back. Why they playing it? I got a cameraman, I'm filming it, even if it's just a little this one iig only used to let you do like 15-second videos or something, so even if I'm throwing goddamn, I could throw I can throw $200 and make it look good if it's if this [ __ ] 15 seconds, put that [ __ ] on slow-mo, you know what I'm saying? I'm daing, so I'm I'm documenting everything too when I'm when I'm going around handing out CDs, when I'm putting fliers on [ __ ], I'm I got the [ __ ] filming it, I'm chopping it up, boom, I'm posting it, posting it, posting it, posting it, like I was posting damn near 12 times a day type [ __ ], but it's but motion really really got them doing something, really got it going on and really approaching anybody. I couldn't if I see anybody, it don't matter who it is, like I'm going to ask you if you know at the time my rap name was Baby, I'm ask you if you know Baby Jesus. They H that's my next question. Look, yeah, Baby Jesus, he ain't lying. Look, my next question, this [ __ ] tell the truth, this [ __ ] a truth-teller. But but what inspired that that strategy, like where did you get the how you know that's that's I really applied the same hustle, you know what I mean? That I've been had that I've been had and and you know the same way I got them, the same way I hustle in the streets, same way I'm first first [ __ ] knew what need to be done, same way I'm going to answer the phone, I'm going answer the
flip phone every time in ring I'm pulling up where other [ __ ] ain't going to go. I'm going right n hell no I ain't serving them [ __ ] over there [ __ ] who you know what I mean. I'm on the way, you know what I'm saying. They who the [ __ ] is this little [ __ ] hopping out with a trash bag? This [ __ ] baby face [ __ ] little [ __ ], you know what I'm saying. But yeah, and I always, when it comes to my hustle, it's always been relentless since the [ __ ] playground. I was in elementary school, I've taking the the the pencil shavings out the [ __ ] pencil sharpener and bagging it up, trying to sell it like it's weed, sell it candy, all that [ __ ]. I done sold everything you can sell before I even, you know. One time a [ __ ] walked up to me in the cafeteria, I'm selling candy and [ __ ], that [ __ ] walked up to me, he saw, way uh uhuh, about 20 [ __ ], and he sees me counting up. He comes up to me, "You going to be a drug dealer?" I got this before I even smoked the [ __ ], and I said, "Man, hell no," I laugh, man, about goddamn. So we can't get past the pencil shavings, pencil shaving [ __ ]. This second grade, my [ __ ], this like, you know, this like second, third grade. That nigga's eight years old, like he he doing too much, he needs—of course, I ain't I ain't get no money doing that, but I tried. I had I had I had the right idea, you know what I'm saying? I had the right idea. Did, and later on, you know, I'll be down when that nigga ever said that [ __ ], I say, "Hell no." About about, you know, six, six to eight months later, I was standing in that same spot with with something else for sale, you know what I mean. Holy moly guac, took that to where you couldn't take it no more. I took that to where you can't take it nowhere else but going fed, and then I say, "What's up? Send me, get me with somebody that can, you know, that I can make some original music and do it," and then that's why I got started on this path right here, right goddamn. Make Some Noise about how um how how how hard it is coming from Carolina, but describe, you know, North Carolina for a person who never been there, never been to the South. Yeah, yes, Charlotte. Yes, if you want to be, I mean, [ __ ] Pacific, if you from there, everybody going to hate on you. You ain't from there, everybody going to be on your dick. It goes that way, like it's goddamn, you know, like Charlotte is a city to where like whoever got it going on, it's like [ __ ] that [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? It's a crabs in a barrel type mentality for sure, and that's why ain't nobody really came up after me yet, you know what I mean? It's really like, you know, [ __ ]. Ain't you would to think a [ __ ] take the blueprint and got them, you know, do their [ __ ] thing with it, but that's what it is. It just said a certain point, [ __ ] is going a [ __ ] going to just be a Charlotte [ __ ]. But aside from that, man, we got, you know, we you just look at me and kind of tell like what we got going on, man. We got plenty lingo, plenty swag, we got, you know, we trendy as hell. We ain't no no little small little town and goddamn, you know, on no no Little Country [ __ ] like mother see, mother say. Charlotte say it's not, Charlotte ain't country. It's the smaller town that you can get to within, you know, 30 minutes away from Charlotte and [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? But Charlotte ain't country, Charlotte is city, you know I mean? So it's, you know, it's just like everywhere else, but as far as like, you know, what it takes to to get on, like [ __ ]. Ain't a lot of my peers, bro, a lot of the [ __ ] I was getting money with, anybody I was getting just by anybody I was getting money with, they either goddamn then got, they either went fed or they goddamn dead, right? You know what I'm saying? It's goddamn one or two, and it, you know, I been blessed enough to to still be out here. The way I seen [ __ ] goddamn beat a man, goddamn go fed, get out, trying to figure it out, woy woop, you know what I mean? Go back, all type of [ __ ], you get what I'm saying? So it's like, yeah, you know, it's a blessing to be from there and be, you know, sitting where I'm sitting to this day and still be there and still be there, goddamn. I'm still there right now. That a team let you shoot the ball yet? Nah, [ __ ], no niggas be act like they want to tackle me and [ __ ], what the [ __ ] is wrong with that? Be tripping. And the players give you the ball? Hell yeah. Like even when I be like, all right, I the ball over to him, I be looking off to the side, they like, "Yeah, don't do it, don't do it." The [ __ ], if a ball at my foot, the [ __ ] rolled it back over there, across [ __ ], that [ __ ], shoot that [ __ ]. And when they did that, I said, "Man, [ __ ] it, I gotta put the shot up." The [ __ ] act like he was going to goddamn come. One time, Le, right? One time was it LeBron? And LeBron that throw me the—be having to keep it smooth, [ __ ]. Yeah, I was going to take that and run with it. I was going to take that and run with it. Bri, that's my [ __ ] though. He definitely, you know, when he played, he definitely came to me, show me some love and [ __ ]. I had my daughter right there tripping, you know, that Space Jam came out, she—yeah, that's that's the LeBron James, that's the LeBron baby. All the players when they came through, they show me love and they make sure that they give my team 50 points minimum when they see me in that [ __ ], and that's what I'm telling it's like, bro, y'all got to let me, y'all got to let me, y'all got to let me represent, you know what I'm saying, you saying? When the homies come through, they just smack—yes, and be looking at me after every shot, looking at me, winking, y'like, you know what I'm saying? Coming back down, boom. Jason Tatum did us like that. Kyrie Irving, Steph did some [ __ ] like that, man. That [ __ ] came and shot that [ __ ] from so far, that [ __ ] shot that [ __ ] from like the other side at like the end of the quarter, like on the—I didn't even think he was going to, I thought he was dribbling it out, [ __ ] came, boom, and shot that [ __ ], and goddamn looked at me, said, "Yeah, [ __ ], that's for you." Goddamn, running over to, you know, he don't even talk like that. Yeah, "[ __ ], that's for you. Yeah, [ __ ], that's for you." Go, taking out his mouthpiece and ran to the [ __ ] like a good SP. Now this [ __ ] is goddamn, we got to do something about this [ __ ]. And then after they do this [ __ ], it be the end of the game. Like Jason Tat, you dead ass wrong. I [ __ ] with Jason Tat too. End of the game, I'm sitting there watching him, he—I'm talking about he walked us down too, like his 50 points, like it was it was bad. Like you got the whole arena like oo, like they making them noises and [ __ ], like he he walked it down and his team knew it too, like they let that [ __ ] shoot every shot for like goddamn 12 minutes straight, bro, and hit them all, bro. He pump faking, [ __ ], jumping and [ __ ], he pump faking again. I'm talking about was doing this dirty goddamn, and the [ __ ] had the nerve when they doing this little [ __ ] with them lady in the microphone at the end, uhuh. The lady got the microphone to him, "Okay, tell us about your game, this and that." I'm trying to sneak up out the [ __ ] right, cuz I I'm trying to sneak up. I had like eight courtside seats. I got two for my mama, two for if she want to bring somebody. I got two over here, she on the baseline, I'm over here like d by the scores table, so I got I got four in each spot, and then it's like we want to bring somebody else or somebody coming to town on some player [ __ ], I want to y'all go, you know I mean, let's go [ __ ] around at the game, whatever. So I had eight seats, so it's it's a it's a little group of us down there. Just about any one of them, I'm trying to sneak off, hiding between the group. This tall ass [ __ ], I can't even hide from the [ __ ], the [ __ ] doing the interview, she got the mic to him, "Hey, hey baby," pointing to the jersey. I'm like, "[ __ ], I can't go take that jersey. I gotta live here," [ __ ] like after you just did that. But my mama, shout out, shout out to MD, she got a collect, she got all she got all them [ __ ], she got some jerseys, she can get some money off the [ __ ], she got plenty jerseys, man. So that [ __ ] be dope being in there, but ask your question. No, the [ __ ] don't let me shoot the ball. Don't let you shoot the ball, [ __ ]. Now is it true that um you beat Gilly on your but on your home, you gotta have home court advantage? Gil? Yeah, with when? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I did. I got off that day, Gil. Yeah, we was shooting threes. We we were shooting what we did like best out of like best out of like 10 shots, just five spots around the court, you know what I'm saying? Both ways, or I might have did it with the shooting machine. Yeah, call L game, might might have do with the shoe machine. Now we we ain't do one-on-one. Oh, I yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah, no, I got so the court, it's a high school regulation court type [ __ ], it was just three, we was shooting threes, and then I got the machine to shoot the ball out to you. Yeah, the where it's going, it's broke right now. It's broke right now. I left it out in the rain, so it a, you know, I don't got it no more, but that's what I had at the time. My [ __ ], I was trying to flick n for sure, but I won. I won. It's it's yeah, it's it's an honor to say I goddamn, I ain't seen too many [ __ ] beat Gilly on the internet. Yeah, he dog on that court, man. Dog, he paying all [ __ ] back who a give him a feature rap when he was rapping. He's busting your ass on the court right now. Go ahead, get him back for sure. I'm going have to pick up a basketball when I see that [ __ ], just for even for you bringing that [ __ ] up. I'm going to have to do it again, man. So let want expl—let to do quick time of slime, a new one? No, this thought you said a new one? No. Do we got the questions? Oh yeah, we got the questions. Let me see here. Yeah, huh, yeah, yeah, chilled. All right, so this is our drinking game, right? All right, you took my glass with the ice in it, the cute one. Okay, my ice melted. You cuz my ice—yeah, let me get want ask what he wants for shots. What do you want for shots? The same [ __ ], same sh—you want to? Yeah, yeah, you can chill it. I'm chilling, you chilling. So we're gonna give you two choices. Talk to them, you pick one. Nobody drinks if you say both or neither of them. We all drinking. You going name three, one more time? Two. We're going to give you two choices, yeah, and this is not dissing anybody, just just bringing just to bring up people's names and you—if you pick one, we not drinking, but if you say both or or neither, we all drink. We both, we all drinking. You know shots though? Shots, shots. All right, let's get drunk. Wantana? Anybody wantana? And then after that, we going to go in an interview and we breaking down the whole mixt. Let's do it. We breaking down the whole—no, whatever, whatever, it's your world. I'm here, let's go. I'm going nowhere till you ready for and La Flores. Oh yeah, yeah, you want—let's do let's do that first. Let's get to him right now, man. All right, you know what our show is about, giving people flowers. We've been trying to give you your flowers. We understand how real your story is. We understand how you know, gangster and and and authentic. Snoop, it's better than—y come for his people. Absolutely, that's fact. I'm at the—you deserve that app. Congratulations, congrat for all you doing, man. Can y'all see that? Yes, I get more—it's sir. All right, you explain to him the rules, y ready? Appreciate that. And any stories you got when anybody just please bring say Nas or Jiss? Oh man, you can say both, you can say neither, we drinking. You can choose one, that's obviously—damn, I'm I'm I'mma go, I would say I'mma go both. If I choose what we drinking, then we drink a shot. If you don't choose, like if you don't choose, we drinking. That's basically what it is. If you don't CH—don't choose, and if you choose, if you—I'm going to do both. Let's drink real quick, and then I—I tell you—hold on, let's do the shots. Hold on, hold on, let's wait. We going we going to get it going. We hold on, drink. We going do shots though, he—okay, cool, cool, cool. Yeah, we we sipping him. Go ahead, go. Wait, wait, wait, let's man, let us take sh—I got need my shot. You taking forever, man. Hey, what the [ __ ] you take a long time, man? The [ __ ], I supposed to do, throw it to Tony Cucko, throw it back to myself. But what did she make? What kind of a shot is she make? I just ask for it, chill. That's why, cuz it's a long game. It's a long game, that's doing some fancy [ __ ], Jarious. She's experence. He knows his boss. It's a long game. You can really go ahead and have him lined up. He—I think he drank his shot already. Come on. All right, Biggie or Jay-Z? Oh, wait, no, no, you said you wanted to explain it. Yeah, so so I'mma choose both, both of them. My [ __ ] n super n a cool [ __ ]. What's that word y'all be using? L n L [ __ ] [ __ ]. I like your I like your style. Be you a ill [ __ ], be ill [ __ ]. But but J, the kiss [ __ ] with that look. J, the kiss though, like like that's, yeah, that's like, you know what I'm saying? That's my type of [ __ ] right there, like like that like that. Yeah, he he he more he more of a dog, you get what I'm saying? Like he more—yeah, like I'm that type, like, you know, like like for example, like what he came and did like when when y'all had that versus, which was a dope moment for New York up there, like like that type of [ __ ], like that's me all day long. That's the type [ __ ] I was doing in Charlotte, that the clubs or whenever, like that's what I was doing, like I come jump up on St goddamn and and and my little ass be there talking. Yeah, the way I'm talking on the [ __ ] microphone, you would think I'm—you look at me, look like I'm goddamn 10t tall, that like I'm—yeah, I embody that same type energy, so I [ __ ] with uh I [ __ ] with J kiss on that level, on a whole another level. But now as you a ill [ __ ], be so—yeah, we did we took the shot for both of them. We when we when we go with Biggie or Jay-Z, uh I'mma go I'mma go Jay-Z, you know what I'm saying? I ain't really—I wouldn't—Jay-Z still got it going on, yeah, while I'm while I'm, you know, grown ass [ __ ] and had it going on as far as I can remember, you get what I'm saying? Up until now, so I'mma I'mma go his way. Um, and then yeah, so we can go you can go to the next one. We don't got to take a shot on that one. We ain't no shot—shot. Go ahead, e—Roddy Ricch or Rod Wave? Rway. Okay. Dam R, that's my—me and Ry got a song about to go diamond. We g—go both. Let's drink. Be right—right. No, absolutely th—you can't take nothing away from neither one of them, you know what I'm saying? It ain't too many [ __ ] that can—it's it's only a handful, it's only about 10 [ __ ] that can—you got to have one of them diamond plaques on your W, goddamn, to say to take something away from any one of them [ __ ], including me. Yep, yeah, I ain't going to lie, you put a lot of hash in this. I like it, I like it, I like it. I ain't going to lie. Had to stop—men—men interviewing just—oh, this hit me like, oh [ __ ]. Okay, you smoke hash? And I be that [ __ ] me too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Eyes looking all red and [ __ ]. Tory Lanes or Drake? Drake. Drake. Kendrick or Cole? Kendrick. And shout out to Cole, that's my [ __ ], but you know, Kendrick demonstration lately, that's like I say that's my like that's what I represent, like Cole, you a ill [ __ ] just like n but but that you know that drop nuts on everybody, like that's how I'm set up, like [ __ ] it, like come come kill me, drop my nuts on every—like like like what's up? Like you feel like that's that's that's what I embody, so I'm going go Kendrick for sure. Pusher of Fab, who helped you with these questions? D—you got him send them in? He yes, he did. He told me he help [ __ ] [ __ ] that control the question. We never SE me about [ __ ] that hang together. Y'have [ __ ] like what that [ __ ] on? Wait, hold up. Who do we have recently that kept saying neither? Not many people say neither. Oh, no, no, no. Ralph McDaniels, he kep saying no. It wasn't Ralph, it was R—he was like neither. Yeah, we didn't drink at all. No, no, we kept drinking cuz neither is a drink—drink. Okay, okay. I I want to take this one. Go ahead. Megan or GloRilla? Yeah, Glo—get a Glo. You know what I'm manifesting? I'm manifesting a song with uh, with Glow and Meg together. And baby, I think that's the way me and Meg should pop back out. See, y'all got me drinking and [ __ ]. I think that's the way me and man should pop back out because I feel like ain't none of these [ __ ], and no disrespect, that y'all making music with can really embody that and bring this—this ain't mine—no, that's if you want to try it. Yeah, don't try that [ __ ]. That's right. I'm giving a real sincere message. That's right, right. I feel like don't none of these—I feel like, like that's a real—you got to come get that [ __ ] from baby, like y'all know, like you know, like y'all know. And for the record, you want one with Glove? You what a record? I thought back, question. Come on, come, come on. Gotta relax. Uh, this is your favorite, major or independent? I say, I say major. You know it ain't—I mean, it really—I, I say yeah, I say major, cuz it's like, you know. But at the end of the day, it is really like whatever. Or I say neither. Let's say neither. Def not going to say neither. No, you st with Ma. Let's not get drunk, get me too drunk. And I don't think that [ __ ] really drink. I told you could. Okay, I'm here, I'm here with you, here. I mean, I say if you—I say if you going to do anything, man, do it major. You get what I'm saying? Like you started out independent, but when you—once you went major, keep it real, you don't want to go back. Why the [ __ ] with you? Like, come on, you one of them [ __ ] that pop—you pop independently, and you can—you can get like I've been telling you. But if that ain't it, man, you can sit around here and godamn and be the boss of godamn some small sh. You want to—you go, know you godamn come eat. You feel me? Like I'm telling you, it ain't no point of owning 100% of goddamn nothing that don't mean nothing. And that—that be where a lot of [ __ ], you know, they can't—they can't kick that—that ego or that whatever and get that [ __ ] out their way, like you know, a lot of [ __ ] just, you know, want to be the boss just cuz, playing Mr. Boss Man and [ __ ], man. Play the game, get the money. You know what I'm saying? Bonus. Yeah, yeah, play the game with the money, get that money out. It's not the same anymore, buddy. It's not the—navigate your way through there, and before that, not even be the same. You better go get the money while—get the money, and then later on do what you want to do. Sure, go get the money. Okay, like only like five people that agree, like you know, me, same success and experience that you had. Really? You say it's very true. It's very true. But trust me, going from that to independent—oh yeah, n come on now, [ __ ] is you talking about [ __ ] right? From the Four Seasons to Sheraton—big difference. I couldn't deal with it. Broke, walk in a hotel, we was in the—I'm telling you, and it get like that. Like you see, I didn't checked in, I had to check in one of them hotels I usually don't stay in, not too long ago. Come through that [ __ ]. I'm talking about, soon as we came in, I'm—yeah, I, me, swear to God, [ __ ] is that—yeah, one of them. So you know, yeah, you might want to goddamn go main. I'm just saying [ __ ]. I'm selling you [ __ ]. Oh, okay, you take the next one. It's very hip-hop. Oh yeah, might want to [ __ ] go magic, Rock him or Big Daddy Kane, both. God damn it, hip-hop, would you to say that? That's right. We clear, we clear now, know what I'm saying? That's—there's no way y'all got to kick me out of here. I—if I—okay, I got this one. Sexy Red or Ice Spice? Sexy, get them sexy. Yeah, sexy, get them sexy. All right, all right, Sunny, relax. I was—I was on the red carpet, um, about to like interview, um, and Sexy Red walk through, and she was making it rain. I—R, Make It Rain On Me. But um, that's some—that's some crazy [ __ ]. Yeah, I've never seen the way she embedded, man, man, raw [ __ ]. Sexy, shout out to Sexy. You know I mean? Shout out to Sexy. Yeah. And then we were—I was in Hawaii, and we put on—get them—we put on our [ __ ], and we—it was like 2:00 in the morning. We had white neighbors, um, they left immediately. That's—that's how you get the [ __ ], the [ __ ] out the pool. Like, yeah, I mean, I checked out. I don't know, but we were all in the pool at 2:00 in the morning. They played that [ __ ]. I was like—I was the same fell—oh [ __ ], this what she be saying like. And the white people left, and I said, maybe I made the war report. Who the [ __ ] am I? Who the [ __ ] am I? I got to, you know, come on, get them sexy n for sure. Shout out to Sexy, get them sexy. Tell him. Okay, uh, radio or podcast? Podcast. That's right. Yeah, you can keep it all the way real. Mm, keep it all the way real. You can come, you know, take a couple shots, smoke—smoke some good weed. You know what I mean? Yeah. Mob Deep or both? God damn it. Get the shot, got the shot. Cheers. I see she starting to be nice with the—with the thank you, even the scope. We transparent right now. I see you. I'm wishing forella Kanye. Damn shot, let's go. Any stories with them for real? I love—I got plenty. I got stories with Yay, tell you—know we—that you—know I know, right? So I got stor for sure, bro. Tell us one. First of all, shout out to him for—for, you know, how he came and godamn share light on me. Matter of fact, I'm going—I'm going Kanye. Okay, y'all got to take a shot. I'm going Kanye. He took the shot already. That's the second time. Move too fast. Yig it back. Y'all [ __ ] the Drake champs for real. I ain't going to lie, I like that though. He took it back. But yeah, I got—I'll take it back. I'm—we got to make up a rule. We got to make a rule, take it back. Got take bab [Music] another. It's called the baby, take your [ __ ] back. You got to take two shot, but give us a Kane—some story with him. I mean—oh, don't worry about—uh—oh man, damn. I mean, yeah, but it just involved—so this when we was working on the album or whatever, when he—when he—when he reached out to me, tell me come out goddamn [ __ ] with him, work with him on the album. And he ain't say it that way at all. He like [ __ ] [ __ ] that this war, we need real shooters, we need real soldiers. Just god damn. He gave you like a—like that [ __ ] there different, man. That [ __ ] there different, dog. I swear to God, that [ __ ] there is—that [ __ ] there is different, man. So uh, he got it like—but this the most genius [ __ ] I ever seen, right? And like—like I feel like this the type [ __ ] not even—I feel like that immediately like inspired me. Like that's how I see [ __ ] at the time. I was looking at some [ __ ] that I—um—that I wanted to buy, like different properties and [ __ ], but I was trying to get a warehouse. And what he got—he got like a—I'm talking about I don't know how many thousand square feet warehouse. Colorado? You talked about—this was in LA. Okay, wow. This is in LA. Big ass warehouse. These [ __ ] is in here making Balenciaga. I swear to God, like the real—who got—who got it on there? The [ __ ] Yay probably made that [ __ ] right there, talking about. I promise you, he got—he got a big ass—like it's a—it's a clothes rack in the middle of the god of this side of the warehouse, just this side. The clothes wack can go around this whole room like in a circle. It's like Circle one, all the clothes on it, black, bunch of different [ __ ], right? He got that going on. He got a big ass section over here. He got Architects over there designing—I think a school at the time is what the [ __ ]—all these [ __ ] was drawing, multiple Architects designing schools and [ __ ]. So he's going from—and he's—and over here he got like a big ass little setup, big as hell. You know what I mean? But it's in like the shape of—it's really like a whole [ __ ] squares all the way around, but he got chairs at the table, and he got speakers stacked up on top of each other. He got a whole little Studio set up right here in the middle of this where he's playing the music. And then he got little carts that got microphones on them, laptops on them. That's why I recorded the jail part two vers on a [ __ ] cart in the middle of a warehouse, like around the corner, like he got different engineers in this [ __ ]. He got this Rockstar [ __ ] in this—in this bit cart on a cart, cart, cart. Hell yeah, like they bring that—no, no, not a shopping cart, like a [ __ ]—no, like the lunchroom [ __ ], right? Like, yeah, uh-huh, like that type of [ __ ]. Yeah. And got—got a whole studio set up on it, like I record that [ __ ] boom, like right there off of a car, like it's a mobile Studio, like a little mobile Studio. Uh-huh. Did that [ __ ] like this, you know what I mean? Then they came to me, different coming to me. You got the best ver on the album, the best first on the album. I heard him say it, you know I mean? This type [ __ ], but whatever. But n so he got—he got so many different creatives in the same uh [ __ ] room, you know what I mean? Like, and at this table, like it seats like, you know, 20—20 to 25 [ __ ], but it's, you know, this [ __ ]—this—this prominent in the radio, this [ __ ] that's a legend in the—in the uh—the—the rock and roll goddamn game, this female R&B artist, this artist, this artist, this artist, this me, right? This new young [ __ ], this, you know what I mean? Whatever, whatever he feel like I represent this [ __ ], this [ __ ]. You intimidated? Legendary [ __ ]? No. Okay, [ __ ] no. I like that answer. Hell no. You heard my verse? You heard my—forgot. Let's go, let's go, let's go. I forgot, I forgot, I forgot. Yeah, they sh woo. But n hell no, like I'm—I ain't—I ain't intimidated. I'm inspired. You know what I'm saying? Like not to even say like I'm—I'm inspired. I'm like, okay, like yeah, this the way I—because that's how I am anyways, like I have so many different—so many different people like at my spot, right? I have—I call my—my video people up. I have my engineer there, I have producers there, and I like to just bounce around the different [ __ ]. It's like I—I don't know, maybe I—I really got like ADHD for real, for real. Like I like a lot of [ __ ] going on, a lot of people—like can't handle that or process that, but that's when I'm at my best. Like I want all the different [ __ ]. I need all the tools and resources in the room, and I know how to goddamn go from this to this to—I go right here. Some of them songs on the album, I went—I popped right back in the room, boom, did the song. I pop right back out, do some edit. They—they've been editing this video. I slide the laptop in front of me. I'm making my adjustments to the edit, you know what I'm saying? I come over here, godamn, look at, you know, [ __ ] JoJo already had a pictures in my phone. I probably got to go through them, posting, but I like everything going on in one spot, and I like all my goddamn ghetto ass kids running around too at the same time. Sit y'all ass down, chill out, quit doing this, give her the toy back. You know what I mean? I go up here, make them something to eat, that type [ __ ], come back down, like that's how I like [ __ ] to be. You get what I'm saying? So I'm seeing this [ __ ] do this [ __ ], and I'm like, yeah, this is, you know. So when I went back, I started looking for like Warehouse spaces and all that other [ __ ], but let me get to the [ __ ] story. I just had to give you context, cuz it's like you wouldn't even understand the picture. And everybody got on all black. Everybody to have—did you have all black? No, no, no, no. So—so when they landing, they give you the—the all black. Yeah, when he come in. Yeah, [ __ ] got on all black. And I don't mind wearing—no, it was—it ain't—he ain't telling you put on this Balenciaga [ __ ], making—yeah, here he—he's certain artist look, so why he doing this? The music playing [ __ ] in here, goddamn. You know what I mean? [ __ ] in, happy to be here, this and that, you know what I'm saying? All type of [ __ ]. [ __ ] is really in love with music, vibing with sh. It's different. This is just my assessment of the room, right? You get what I'm saying? So I see different, you know, different Vibes going on. Some people might just be here just cuz [ __ ]. When Kanye tell you to come listen to theum, you come listen to the album. Some people here to [ __ ] to do—to do a verse, godamn, to do some—to work on music. Some people here to do this, some people here to do that, or whatever. But that's the way he got the room set up anyway, so that really don't even matter. You get what I'm saying? Like it's [ __ ] here that don't know nothing about music, but they still sitting around the table. He got so many different creators under the same [ __ ], like got a whole—he got buil in a homemade Starbucks over in the corner. These [ __ ] making coffee, and these [ __ ] got healthy ass food and [ __ ]. The bowls made out of cement, organic muffins, all type of [ __ ]. Cement. This [ __ ] is—is on some—some different type [ __ ]. You get what I'm saying? But gave you context. He walking off your shoulder, he take this female artist over here, show around the racks and [ __ ], pick out different outfits, you know. He a damn fashion—fashion Mogul. He picking out [ __ ] in here, boom, hold it up to give it to her. I seen the [ __ ] walk off, come back with it on. Look like she was on the [ __ ] runway in goddamn—in Paris. Look like she Kim Kardashian and the [ __ ] know something is what I'm saying, right? Yeah. So it—the album was playing this D, right? This D—the one where—um—yeah, that's—I think it's just D, the first one. That's the one where it was dedicated to his like mother, right? Named after his mother, not dedicated—somebody was texting, I believe, or some [ __ ] or—not even that—like he, you know, I don't want to—man, okay. So you know, you—you know my [ __ ], right? You know Kanye. All right. So in between songs and [ __ ] too, you know, he—whatever is on his mind, he going—he going to say it out loud. And you know, he was—he was saying something about how he felt about something, and—and you know what he feel like—you know, he—he—he going to do or what he feel like he ready to go do. And I feel like—I'm pretty sure—you know this [ __ ]—pretty sure this [ __ ] meant what he was saying. And it was a niggaer in there that told him like, nah, man, you too—telling them what—what a good friend should be telling you. You get what I'm saying? Or whatever. Some—anybody sitting in your space, they shouldn't just be letting you right op. They were just—yeah, yeah. It wasn't that type of [ __ ]. They wasn't Yes Men. And like, you know, like majority of the [ __ ] is—let just sit back and goddamn let you know whatever be whatever. They was Yes Men. And he the type of [ __ ], he going to challenge that. And he challenged that [ __ ], and he godamn like told the [ __ ] godamn get the [ __ ] out, like in front of everybody. And bro was like—like hey—like I—it was worse than that. So then he got—it was definitely worse than that. I—I got a lot of respect for the other [ __ ], and since then I seen them back together, so they amended that, cuz I was—I'm like, ah. But uh—but hell yeah, man, he ended up goddamn like putting BR out, type [ __ ], like I don't want no advice, I don't want no advice. You know what I'm saying? Like, and a [ __ ] like, nah, bro, but you—you know what I mean? Like you need to be hearing—like you don't need to be going about it that way. You—you know, I want no advice. I'm get out—get out. Then he was—he just flashed—y'all don't be texting while my mama album playing, don't be goddamn—don't be on y'all phones and [ __ ] while my [ __ ] playing. Matter of fact, everybody get out, everybody get out. Made everybody get up and get—he looking around, he looking at [ __ ] while he's saying what he's saying. And I'm—this my first time being around Kanye. And you're not wearing black? No, I ain't wearing black. I'm just saying a picture too, and I [ __ ] with him. I'm saying that don't forget—like I [ __ ] with him at the end of the day. This was—ar whatever I had on. I—you—you know—you know. And—and I'm goam sitting around and why he—but like I say—like—like see that type of [ __ ], you know—like [ __ ] like me—like I respect it, because all a [ __ ] had to do was just goddamn disagree with—with how he was rocking, you get what I'm saying? You got to go right—not—not even—you got to go, but it's like all a [ __ ] had to do was like say [ __ ]—who—who you talking to, type [ __ ]. You get what I'm saying? But [ __ ] ain't say that. [ __ ] got they ass up and goddamn deal with that [ __ ] said. But while he talking and talking to [ __ ], I'm just sitting there just looking like, damn, like I F with Kan. I hope he don't look overhead at me, right? You talking—you know what I'm saying? And that's my [ __ ]. But that's exactly what was going through my mind, like, boy, I hope he don't look over here, like cuz I'm going say like—like—like who you—like, you know, I'm—I got to—right? You know what I'm saying? Like I got to, bro, like what's going on, like—like y'all [ __ ] be, you know. But so the simple fact that the [ __ ] did get up and gotam, cuz it just—yeah, everybody got up and got the [ __ ] out of there. I ain't get up. You get what I'm saying? And the [ __ ] he went in the other room—it's the warehouse—he went like—
The other side of the warehouse, and he texted me. He said, "By the time this [ __ ] done, you going to be the only feat on the album [ __ ] Let's go." I got the engineer setting up something on the other side of the room right now, and that's—and I went straight over there, and got—he said, "About turn this [ __ ] down, you going to be the only [ __ ] on the album [ __ ] It's war time [ __ ] We only ain't no time for nobody to be goddamn." I guess he's saying like the type of [ __ ] did get up and go, am I right? Did go for that [ __ ] He was—I guess he was checking [ __ ] temperature. I don't know.
And then I went over there, I did the verse, you know what I mean? And everything was everything. Then he eventually let [ __ ] come back in and sit down. But like, when I tell you the [ __ ], you know, he—he different. He on some other [ __ ], but [ __ ] like that, you know. It's—it's with me, it's like on some, you know, respect-a-check type [ __ ]. That's the way I process it. At the end [ __ ], can call it what they want. Can sit around and call the man crazy, but sit there and go for that [ __ ], and—and you know, if you sit there and go for that [ __ ], don't call the man crazy, you know what I'm saying? Hell no. You—you—you know it's something about that you respect, and that you—that you ain't willing to goddamn, you know, challenge to go up against. So shout out to my [ __ ].
Kanye, different [ __ ]. He's really a gangster at the end of the day. Yes, he is. He really—he's—he's a gangster. That's—that's by definition a [ __ ]. Do what you want to do, do what they want to do. Yeah, he does what he wants to do, man. That [ __ ] do what he want to do, dog. Say what he want to say. You know, you might—you know, one might—you know, I might agree with this, might—might not—might agree with that, might not. But that's a [ __ ] that's going to, you know, do what he want to do, say what he want to say. So shout out to that [ __ ].
But aside from that, the creative process, in the way he got so many different, you know—and I'm pretty sure he is like the best—this wasn't just no—that I'm talking about, this is like the famous [ __ ] from Japan. This goddamn—that designed this big ass building. Like, I'm dead ass. Like, he got all these types of [ __ ], like—and he's building schools. I don't even know if he opened them shits. He got—he's really drawing this [ __ ] out, like in—in the schools. Just like, ain't going to have electricity, but it's all type of [ __ ]. Like, I'm telling you, the way he describing the same time, like, "You ain't hearing me," and then gets on the jet, goes—"Here we go." We got on the jet, like the next day, we go to some remote location in Arizona or some [ __ ], and we in like a—a tunnel underground type [ __ ], and it's like they got some [ __ ] set up there, like when the—at a certain time when the sun right here, it shines through this, and it—and it makes the goddamn light look like this or something, some—it formed something in the sky. And we get on the jet, we go over here, and goddamn, BR in the cut with the mask on. He's just vibing [ __ ] in there, on some acting like they know what this [ __ ] see, man. "Y'all don't see what this [ __ ] swear to God, man. Y'all do not." And the group is cut down by then, like it's a j—so it was only like about 12 people. It was only about like 12 people at this time, you know what I'm saying? I like, if you talking like—like rappers, out of the 12 people, it was probably just like me and Rody at the time.
You funny as hell too. He was tripping me out too, man, cuz he was [ __ ] like—he was tripping me out too. But the—but the [ __ ] acting like they saw what they see, man. "Y'all minds ain't—ain't—ain't as advanced as Kanye," cuz I didn't know what the [ __ ] was going on. I'm like—I'm like, "Hey, when we going to go get some food, bro?" Like, I'm going to go back—I'm going to go back to the crib. I did—I'm like [ __ ], "Hey, look, I'm going to go back to the spot." Goddamn, he goddamn—I'm uh—but that's what I'm saying. And then boom, a day later, we in Chicago, and this [ __ ] got a whole house on fire out here in the middle of this goddamn baseball stadium. Yes, and got 2,000 people marching around in these same clothes. I've been seeing this [ __ ] design, like I've been with this [ __ ] the whole time. I don't know when he had time to goddamn to coordinate all that, but he—no, I—and I—he was doing it the whole time, like he got [ __ ] boom coming to him, boom boom boom boom boom, like—like that [ __ ] is a [ __ ] mastermind, you know what I'm saying? At the end of the day, so yeah, that's—that's a couple stories for that [ __ ]. That [ __ ] they're different. That [ __ ] they're different, even then, like that [ __ ]. He was recording while—that's what I'm saying. I don't know when he—I—I really don't know when he had time, cuz while we back there [ __ ], the [ __ ] recording in the damn [ __ ]. Saw those shows, that show was—how you the [ __ ] do it, pushups and [ __ ], the [ __ ]. Every time I see the [ __ ], he wearing something different. I'm like, "Hold on, bro, like what the [ __ ] going on? Like, I—I need to—somebody got to tell me what's going on," like, you know what I'm saying? I'm here, I [ __ ], I'mma do my song, but like, I'm trying to see what you see, bro. I want to know something. I'm inspired, you mean? Like, how you do this [ __ ]? This [ __ ] is a whole live superhero, dog, or supervillain, whatever the [ __ ] you want to call it. He—he's that [ __ ] in the movie, man. This nigga's the Joker, bro. Yeah, but the best part is when he walks into the other room and texts you. I think that's the part that was funny. That was funny as hell to me, I can't lie, man. Oh my God. He meant that [ __ ]. That [ __ ] walked in the other room like, "Jer [ __ ], all these [ __ ], you going to be the only [ __ ] on the album by the time this [ __ ] over with. It's war time. These [ __ ] ain't ready. They ain't ready." I said, "Okay, man." He—he felt me out. When I look like, "Boy, I hope you don't look over here, bro. I hope you don't look, cuz you looking at everybody." Yeah, no be gotam. While my—while my album playing, don't be texting. While my mom album playing, don't be goddamn—don't be giving me no advice. Don't be go doing nothing. I want to hear none of that [ __ ]. I want get out [ __ ], get out, man. [ __ ], get out. He—"Hey, man, I don't even want to go into detail, cuz I ain't even like to see that [ __ ], man. But you know, I wish I hadn't saw that [ __ ], real talk." And then he made every—matter of fact, everybody get out. Get the [ __ ] out. Meeting over. This [ __ ] is over. Everybody get the [ __ ] out. I'm just sitting there, like, you know what I'm saying? My brother in there with me. I have—like my brother in there with me, uh, probably a videographer over in the corner with—day and a corner in the back. Well, I'm looking at all these [ __ ] get up. I see my brother over there looking at me like—we laughing. We really laughing, like when the [ __ ]—he—we—we laugh. We look at each other, we laughing, like, "Boy, like these [ __ ] different than this [ __ ]. Like, I don't—I don't know what the hell going on." "Indry, right?" "Exactly. Exactly." And that's what I mean, like when we say, like, you know, going back to the question you asked at the beginning, like it's like, you know, that type [ __ ], and—and what that [ __ ] right there is going to respect is like—he's going to respect the [ __ ] that's like—he might be a nigga that have you doing [ __ ] that—that you would classify as like industry [ __ ]. That nigga's not no fool at the end of the day, bro. He know why you doing what you doing, type [ __ ]. You get what I'm saying? He a thousand steps ahead. Not to mention he's thinking about something else anyway [ __ ]. He's not even here in the room with you. This [ __ ] is designing the school or some [ __ ]. So shout out to that [ __ ]. That's a—that's a good little story for you. A few of them. I probably got more too. That's that [ __ ] different. I got something too. "Go—go. You got something? Go." "No—no—no, not now. Goad—go to the next one." "Dusi?" "Oh yeah, I got that. I was like, 'What did you—what name is this, bro?'" "Funny Marco or dusi? Both." "Let's drink. Okay, let's drink." Shout out to Marco. That's my [ __ ]. I didn't—I didn't develop a dope ass relationship with Funny Marco, man. I [ __ ] with Funny Marco. We—we talk a lot. Take no type of shot. This—this big ass—this ain't a shot. A Dr. see little shots over. Take this. Took two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, we watching you. And that's gonna be because I took it. I'mma take it back, right? And go Marco, just because we got—you know, we got a real relationship. Shout out to Jui too, though. He didn't—he didn't, you know, we didn't bumped into each other [ __ ] with each other. He didn't, you know what I mean? We didn't chopped it back and forth or whatever. Can't wait to work with the [ __ ], but he doing his thing. But—but both of them, I'm go—both. Oh [ __ ]. Oh, we already took—we took a shot. Yeah, we took it. So okay, go—go to the next one. Did it. The baby, you know what I'm saying? I had to take another shot. Future or two chains? Tony, you know I [ __ ] with you, bro, but I'm going go—I'm going go with Pluto. Got to go with Pluto. Too fast, simply my—my arrow. I gotta go with Pluto, huh? You heard of this new [ __ ]? Too fast. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's my favorite one off the album. Yeah, I was moving too fast. Moving too fast about the condo. I was moving too fast. That's my [ __ ]. I got that. Richard, I was moving too fast. That's—that's got that—I was moving too fast. I got everything he's talking about moving toast too fast. When you did it—been doing it since 98, and I've been moving too fast. You better don't let [ __ ] goam. I've been doing that fast. Yeah, been—I got—I got as a fan. Clap it up for my—for the big dog. Nor as a fan, I got to—I got to tell you, uh, you a lill [ __ ] too. We going to leave it on paper soldiers. That's one of my—shout out [ __ ] Kevin Hart too. Yeah, when he was cutting the [ __ ] hair in the barop. Yeah, the [ __ ] came in the barber shop panicking and [ __ ] the [ __ ], like, "What you [ __ ]? What's wrong with you? Want a gun [ __ ]? What you SK?" It's like my—it's like what of my favorite parts of—like, "What you tripping for [ __ ]? Here, go outside [ __ ]." Yeah, [ __ ] seen beans out there was scared. He like, "What you [ __ ]? Need a gun [ __ ]?" So that was—that was—yeah, that was one of my favorite scenes. You ill [ __ ]. I can tell he didn't—he type of [ __ ] in real life. He the type—he the type of act [ __ ] that in real life, you know what I'm saying? Like you scar—you ain't got no—here, get here, bro. You doing [ __ ]. So that was dope. Yeah, just want to let you know, think I've acting in my life to let you know I knew what that was. Every—every role I ever did was me. I ain't never accept no—that's [ __ ]. That's how you got to do it, doctor. Like [ __ ] it. That's how I plan on doing. Yeah, I'm all right. Right, for sure. Let me play the [ __ ]. Made sense. Made sense. I—I can [ __ ] with that. Directly connected [ __ ] with that, like the hood dude real quick. The foul [ __ ], I can do that, you know what I'm saying? Do that. I can do that, but I don't want to be studying. Yeah, got—I got to be coming outside, right? For sure. I'm a [ __ ] nurse crossing your legs and [ __ ], right? No, give me a [ __ ] role I want. And that's it. That's it, right? That's it. It's real [ __ ], right? Like EFN is—he—he ain't going to die. His Bard. What you won't die. His my say. He going to keep it real. Ex—he going—he going to stay in his Ro [ __ ]. That right. What I'm saying? Right. He a real [ __ ]. I don't know what the [ __ ] that do with anything. Real real. You're a real [ __ ]. Real [ __ ] Lane. Exactly what they mean. You're a real [ __ ], man. Stay in your lane. Sure, yo. Okay. Little baby or Young Thug? Dam, let take a shot. That's right. Let's take a shot. Free Thug, by the way. For sure, yo. Let's talk about that trial real quick. Yeah, my [ __ ], he coming home. What's this got to come home? Water? Water? I believe that's water. Wait, make sure. Yeah, yeah. He got to come home, bro. Yeah, now he coming home. He gotta come—I don't see nothing just stopping me from coming home. I don't even see it being about [ __ ] yet. Yeah, man, like I don't even—even the judge said, man, "This is some funny [ __ ]." No, for sure. Oh [ __ ] like that, y'all know what I'm saying? The judge is like, man—and took a recess m a second judge. But anybody would never been to Tri before, like they know—like you know, once you in that [ __ ], you know it's room for them [ __ ] to play games for show, like—but you know [ __ ] also you stay down, you in that—that type of G. He's coming home. I don't even—from what I see, we want to come home. Yeah, for sure. He's coming home. Yes, he coming home. Wu Tang or NWA? See, these questions disrespectful. Yeah, it is. Yeah, it is. Y'all [ __ ] just want n to get drunk. Come from the Dominicans and Colombians. I need to find me something to—to—to play around with when I get done. Okay, yeah, cuz y'all lit. You got take something down. I don't got to be to the club to 230. Call Shorty. Call Shorty. Shorty. Yeah, call Shorty to do some other [ __ ]. Go out for—go out for dinner or something. I F. That's a shot. Shot right there. Shot. Shot. It's a shot. I can't disrespect—I can't disrespect Nea party. I'm not asking this next one. You got this? Will Smith, Snoop? Oh, not Snoop, for sure. But going have to take faster than you take it back, then you go back. Take to the street. Smith smacked the [ __ ] on the stage at the [ __ ] D. He smacked the [ __ ] on stage at the uh—what's it called? The Oscars. And then won to Oscar. That was hard. And then after—and got up there and cried. It was hard, man. Man, how gangsta is that [ __ ]? Felt sorry for him as he crying [ __ ], like, "Yo, my bad." Forgot—a just did 12 minutes before. But Chris Rock took it like a G too, though. Chris Rock is a G. He took it like a G. When he got hit, he took it—not that way now, but I'm saying how you take—how I'm just saying he i f with Chris Ro. I'm saying he—and he kept doing his lines like he didn't—that a what supposed to—he ain't drop—he ain't drop. But he ain't drop is what I'm saying. He ain't fall off of that. It's a slap—a slap ain't a slap ain't fall. A slap that was an extra slap. A slap is—is—is to let you understand I'm this type of [ __ ]. You that type of [ __ ]. That's what a slap is. He gave him a palm walk—that—that's a slap. That's a real slap. When they the out—that right there is like a—you—he know—now he know he'll never play with that man like that again, man. But I'mma leave that alone. We took a shot already, right? Not for that, but we didn't—I'm going Snoop. We ain't got a went Snoop. Okay, we went Snoop. But that was the most gangster thing I ever seen on—from where? On—on mainstream television. I mean, I think everybody—the most—that was the most gangsta [ __ ] I never seen. Yeah, then it was the way he walked off. He ain't even checked to see if the [ __ ] was coming. Like, I'm like, "Oh, you—I would have—I wild—I would have came like Goldberg spear his ass, right?" I F with you. I would have spear your ass right into that table. They would have been like, "Damn, this some WWE [ __ ]." I would—boy, I have tow that [ __ ] up. I—man, listen, I would have tow that [ __ ] up. I don't give a [ __ ] if it was King Kong came up there SL like—this monkey going to have to goddamn, boy. He going to have to kill me in this [ __ ]. So yeah, you know, that's why it's like he ain't taking—not like no G. I—I understand what you're saying. On—you feel me? To each his own, but I don't—I couldn't imagine. But shout out to both of them. Yeah, shout out to both of them. I'm talking about Chris Rock and Will Smith. And then shout out to both of them, cuz I want Chris—you know, it's all good. Like I say, like Will Smith this type of [ __ ]. BR that type of [ __ ]. That's all that mean. And it's—and that's okay. So—but I'mma go Snoop, cuz that's—that's an—that's Snoop. Yeah, and—and I [ __ ] with Snoop. We got a dope relationship. I [ __ ] with Snoop. Snoop hella winner. Uh-huh. That's my [ __ ] win. That's my [ __ ]. The Olymp—the biggest—the Olymp. He's still a real [ __ ]. He's still a real [ __ ]. He hosted the—it's different cuz it wasn't like he hosted the Olympics like, "Hey, guys." N—that [ __ ] had a—he was like, "Hey, this [ __ ] is—you know what time it is? This [ __ ] fire!" Then he turn around—the [ __ ] was at the Super Bowl. They had the [ __ ] at the Super Bowl. The [ __ ] Eminem and them up there performing the [ __ ]. Snoop was back there like this—oh—at the performance. At the performance? No, I didn't see that. Yeah, no—no—at the half. Yeah, at the half time was in the cut. Yeah, yeah. Oh, make sure the cameras get that—the cameras got that. Okay, I didn't see that. I got to hit the blood real quick. This [ __ ] lit. He—the performance—did I didn't see that. Yeah, yeah. Oh, and didn't get in trouble for it. I say on ass. I mean, let's think about the—
First time we had Superon Dream Champs, he taught us how to cover the vents in the hotel. Oh yeah, he said, he said, “You just do this and do that, cover these and we good, we good.” Right? He ain’t going to do nothing. But by the way, this is like, this is like a, this is like a seven-star hotel. And they, seven-star? No, it was nice. That was very nice. We went to see him; it was very nice.
Yeah, it was in West Palm Beach. It was very ni—yeah, it was very nice. And they, they helped us move the furniture. We going to—they help us for him to smoke in the room. They, he got, he got that type of, he got that green light, bro, all over the world. That’s the most famous [ __ ] in the world, like absolutely. They say in the world, they say everybody knows who Snoop Dogg is. Everybody—hey, they said that [ __ ] can get you some, some weed. And goddamn, uh, where the [ __ ] say he was at? And Snoop got some weed? Nah, [ __ ] the White House. This [ __ ] say he was way overseas somewhere, and like Germany. He knows a [ __ ] that’ll pull up on you, give you a zip. Like he, he got it. “I got you, Germany.” Right, right.
Oh, I got only though, I’m scared. Yeah, I like… Dooor, but I’m scared of Germany. You, what you say? You like Dooor? Yeah, yeah. I did a, uh, I did a show, I did a festival. Told you, man, Doo—do [ __ ]. You tell us every time. Doo, Freight foot Hamburg. Yeah, I did, I did Frankfurt too. Yeah, yeah. Mhm. You did the October Fest? It was um, it was something else. It was called, what was it called? OMG, or like me, it was something, it was something with like some, it was like an acronym. It might have been like OMG Fest with whatever the [ __ ] was called, but it was in Dorf though. Okay, hell yeah. It was huge. Yeah, it was huge. Dorf with that [ __ ]. Mhm. I got love for a [ __ ] out there. We said, we said, we said, “No, we haven’t said that one yet.” Okay. The movies, we said that ahead. Okay. Juice or Boyz n the Hood? Damn, but Juice, Juice. Okay. And that’s easily a both, but Juice. Okay. DMX or Tupac? Okay, my man, both of them. My type [ __ ] man. You got of—I did not get to meet DMX. Wow. I did not get to meet DMX. I can see the listen [ __ ]. I did not get to me—yeah, yeah, yeah. And he would have [ __ ] with you. And for sure, for sure. Yeah. Oh, on you. I might have to take, give me another one. I might have to take another one from DMX. I’m mad I didn’t get to meet him. Sure. Should I give with the—so you know what? I got to go both. Yeah, man, please. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Definitely. The week before? No, I’m going to give you, I’m going to give you an Arizona story. Give me a New York story. No, I gave so much New York story. Let me, give me an Arizona story. Lived in Arizona. He moved to Arizona. Mhm. That [ __ ] was out there on the four-wheelers and [ __ ]. Yeah, you already know what I’m talking about. So I go, move out there—I mean, not move out there, I’m, I’m filming a, a video. Was you filming the har—a movie? Yeah, film the horror movie. Let me not say, but I feel about the horror movie, cuz homie be listening and say, “Stop saying that.” Yeah, cuz you this, you this—the movie, it’s the worst movie I ever been in. [ __ ] it, my friend, right? But anyway, moving on. X has me out there, and this [ __ ] says, “No, we going in the house.” And I say, “Go in the house?” He goes, “Everybody else been going hunting.” And he literally went hunting. Why he tell you going the house? CUA. I was drunk. Okay, okay. And I, I shouldn’t, I not belong anywhere near me. Right, right. And he literally went out there and hunted snakes. And then [ __ ], that’s what he was hunting—snakes. They hunted whatever the [ __ ], they sto—rabbits, snakes, whatever. But that’s what, that was the game was, you, you can’t eat unless you [ __ ], you catch it. And boy, I did not participate. I mean, I was just like, and I mean, I acted drunker than maybe I was, cuz I was like, “I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t want to eat that.” Oh, they was eating the [ __ ], they was killing that. That was the game they was playing. Like your kill type. Yeah, like you know, uh, “We going to go out there and whatever we come back with, it could be, uh, what’s some [ __ ] called? Coyote.” They was, they was eating whatever—the rattlesnakes. They eat rattlesnake. They was eating rattlesnakes. I swear to God. No, that’s, that’s pretty, kind of—they were cooking them. That’s, it’s kind of normal where you from? Not for me, but I know people here like—that was they G did every night. Like, “Who’s in?” And they were like, “All right, cool.” They go out there, they load up, and they just going out there and they, they shooting whatever the [ __ ] they hunt and they come back and they put it on the grill. I was, “God damn.” It’s a Long Way From New York. Like this ain’t got, this is nothing to do with—well, H, yeah. That’s a great brother, man. We miss you so much, DMX. Okay. Side, I can’t cheat, I can’t cheat the game. I cannot cheat the game. Real [ __ ]. Okay. Do what—we didn’t take a shot. This is—we did, but we taking a second one for it, for a second one. That’s right, that’s right. Damn. Rest in peace, the PK and the DMS. Drink. You got some shades? Yeah, this, this was, this was, this was your idea to take another one. Yeah, yeah. I take for DMX. Easy. Let me tighten up. Easy. Okay. Big Pun or Big L? Big Pun. Okay. And that’s just based off my knowledge, you know what I’m saying? Okay. 50 Cent, a player. I just crush a lot, 50. That’s right. I like, I like, I like, I like how you talk about 50. I like my [ __ ], man. Yeah, real [ __ ], you know. I’m the first person to ever do a feature with him. Word up. Yeah. You Google that, ask him. Yeah, he said it right here. He said, he said everywhere. But um, I like, I like, I don’t, I don’t want to say mentorship, but I like the relationship. Yeah, the relationship, definitely. You know what I mean? He’s definitely somebody I would, I would absolutely consider as a, as a mentor, for sure. How did you—my [ __ ], Vanessa from XXL. I don’t know if you know Vanessa. She connected us. Yeah, she connected us, for sure. I was doing like a media dinner or whatever, and I was talking to Vanessa and somebody else that was there. And the girl that was there, she was like, um, Vanessa had know me from when I was on the cover XXL and [ __ ]. I always [ __ ] with Vanessa too, cuz she’s stiff, right? Like she’s stiff, you know what I’m saying? Like, I’m not coming from X, like she ain’t smiling at none of these [ __ ], none of these rappers. Like she’s stiff, like uh-huh. Exactly. And I really kind of like, I don’t know, I let her tell it, but like that’s how I came in there. Like I come—all these artists, they got stylists, they got this and the scope had this [ __ ] for me. They had a stylist in there, by the way. Like when they stylist and [ __ ] set up for me, like for the whole 2019, all that [ __ ], like I come in there and be like, “I ain’t wearing none of that [ __ ].” And I just got to walk out. So I had just got the plan. I think I had on like a [ __ ] Nike hoodie and some flip-flops and some [ __ ], like joggers. That’s what I did the whole day. And like my freestyle, you go back and look at it now, like I had on like a [ __ ] Nike Hood—this when I’m, I get to the next city, I got fresh packs of draws, socks, that type [ __ ]. But I’m, I go to the little store—this how I was used to do it in the streets too. I just go to the store every day, wife beat him, flip-flops and some, some hooping shorts and go in that [ __ ] and goddamn, buy outfit every day in the store, put it on in the store, walk out, go get money. Get a—I heard you lived off for 6 months. For six months. Me and this [ __ ], nor on some other—we got, I don’t know what’s going on, man. I, I, I did my n—n for sure, you—yeah, yeah. Professional. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Professional. This, this, this grade-A journalism right here. It’s on a whole another level. This [ __ ] right—the second, third time I said some [ __ ], he—that was my next question. For sure, yeah. But we go ahead, finish though. Yeah, so like that. Yeah, I would, I would do that for like, I did it for like probably like 6 months straight. Like I, I ain’t even, I’m hustling sun up, the sun—even when the sun down, when other [ __ ] turning down, they turn it off, I’m up. I’m 2: in the morning over here in this neighborhood where ain’t nothing outside but police. So I got to move smooth. I got to—uh-huh. I got uh, uh. And yeah, I was just every day I would, I would hop in the shower, I would goddamn, boom, I pop out, make my first little round of my plays and just the, the flip-flops and [ __ ], and I goddamn, boom, go to the DTLR—is a store that we got there. I go on like DTLR. I go in that—exactly. I go in that [ __ ] and goddamn, get this, this, this—put the [ __ ] on in the store, probably hady to leave this [ __ ] right there with them, go hustle for the day. You know what I mean? Used to call it little, little trap suits. I need my trap suit for the day. Boom, boom, boom. To where I had like, like I don’t know, maybe like 10 of them, like construction trash bags and big black trash bags full of like clothes and [ __ ]. Yeah, I ain’t do no laundry. I just bought new [ __ ]. So yeah, whatever. Yeah, whatever. That as hell, because you know the, the couple of things that we do on Dream 10—well, this is me that I’m, I’m in factu with, right? I’m been factu with if they gonna come on time and what they’re drinking. So I fig—I said, “Drinking that Don Julio?” Julio, for sure. That Julio, for sure. And then they told me they saw you at the Brickle. Yeah, I swear to God. Look, so when I just saw—that’s funny as hell. When we, when I just pulled up and I saw the Maybach outside, cuz I got one, right? Yeah, for sure. So, so when I saw it and I was coming out—it’s my nephew’s birthday and [ __ ]. So I, uh, I had went in the store. I told—I went in the store, I FaceTime—I just let him pick out whatever he want. I got everything for—I’m coming out of the Brickle mall and [ __ ], and I’m jumping back in the truck and I see this two-tone silver, two different types of silver, this Maybach come. I’m like, “Damn, I wish mine was that color.” So I know they saw me, cuz I’m looking like I’m just stopping and I’m, I’m admiring the car. Like I’m looking goddamn, like, “Damn, that [ __ ], that [ __ ] hard.” I probably said something. I don’t know if you heard me say that, that I said, “That [ __ ] hard.” My security got the door open, waitting on me to get in. I’m like, “That [ __ ] hard as hell.” I got it. I came outside, I said the [ __ ], “Nor, roll by me.” Go—am, this [ __ ] about to be late, he on the way here. I’m goddamn, I’m coming out the [ __ ] mall and [ __ ], man. You know what I’m saying? But n—no, for sure, for sure, man. Small world. Let me just tell you something, man. It makes me so happy to see you doing your thing. And for sure, BR. I appreciate it. It’s an honor to be here with you. I really, really—you really don’t know, like I, I know I’m using the wrong word for how much you mimic my career. I don’t know if that’s the right word, like you know, Mirror, Mirror, like you know what I’m saying? Like since you been through everything, you, you going through the lawsuits. I was going to try to—who there the other day? We was talking about lawsuit, remember? And my brother—that’s my son right there. My son works on the set. You know what I’m saying? You know what I mean? Um, but hold, hold on. All right. What’s the next one? See here. New Jack City or King of New York? New Jack City, easy. New Jack City for me. King of New York might be more of some New York [ __ ]. I don’t even, I haven’t seen that. No disrespect. Like what’s that? Wait, yeah, Frank White ey. But new—yeah, they both New York shits. Y’all think that’s [ __ ]? Y’all think that’s [ __ ] with New Jack City as a New York [ __ ]? No, no, I can—no, yeah. New York City is, is sp—small. Yeah, yeah. New York City is all right. BMF or Snowfall? Snowfall. Not—I mean, but let’s drink, cuz BMF—my, my big brother got something go into effect. Yeah, yeah. Listen, anytime—start that R, fix it. Yeah, listen, please, every—make sure everybody write that down. That’s—it’s called the baby rule. When [ __ ] back on the—when [ __ ]. Uh-huh. No, we dead serious. Calling that these [ __ ]. I done about—yes. Goddamn. All right, this is the, this the last one. Last one of the game. And I can’t count them cuz I don’t even see her over here. She’s slipping them [ __ ]. No, usually—yeah, making sure I ain’t looking and [ __ ]. Yeah, yeah. That’s right. She’s a professional. Rolex or Coco’s H—Coco, cooco. Why do you think he—why do you think he would resonate with that? Oh, he—oh, you don’t think he—I don’t even know what that is. That’s old school, old school Miami. It’s not old school, but it’s, it’s—I’m 32, I young—young [ __ ]. No, no, but it’s still, it’s still Ro—Rox or toies. What the [ __ ] is—no, he ain’t been in Rolex either. He a—been to Rolex? Oh, wait, wait. You talking about strip club? Strip clubs? Yeah, I don’t know what Rolex is. Yeah, Rolex is—yeah, Rolex a—open. That’s what we need to go to. Oh, my bad, my bad, my bad. My—I’m like d—I mean, I don’t expect you to go—what’s the Coco? You say King of Diamonds or Tootsie’s? Maybe you talking about Miami. Yeah, yeah. Miami, Miami. King of Diamonds, tra on the river. You know what? Drink. Let’s drink. Let’s drink for that. Yeah, to mik—goddamn it. All my people at Booby Trap on the river. Boy, Trap 24, Booby Trap 17, Bo TR—last one of them, last one of them. Mm. I’m tonight—make play my—get back to the interview and we going get straight into the mixtape. Okay, I’m going pull up the Booby Trap, make him play my song 20, 30 times tonight. Yeah, you should. You still on grind, work mode? I’mma still be nice and turned too. Loyalty or respect? Damn, that’s J—you let me tell you now, what sign are you? What sign of you? I’m a Capricorn. What’s that? October—that’s that’s December. What’s that? DEC—what’s that? What part of the almanac is that? Because usually the person saying s—i—i—i—can think of the M—you can think of what it looks like. That’s Jay-Z. December 22nd. That’s LeBron James. I don’t know, was after Sagittarius? No, before. Yeah, right after. Right after. Okay, okay. After. All right, all right. Right. Some smart [ __ ]. This a fact? Nah, because real—no, definitely, definitely. And it’s real [ __ ], defin—so um, mix H—let’s get into the mixtape. How the [ __ ] is this a mixtape? How the [ __ ] is this a mixtape? I’m still trying to figure that [ __ ] out. Yeah, I’m trying to figure it out. You got me turned—not to going to get on their ass. Watch this. You said you got album already kind of done? Yeah, for sure. Why you—why you whispering? In schore. But you know, with the current energy, I’m going go back and probably add—I want to add—the current energy is on you. Exactly. Okay. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. First off, first off, did we never talk about Baby Jesus? No, we wanted to come back to it. Yeah, we wanted to go back. Let’s get—before we get into mixtape, Baby Jesus, is that your first record on the radio? Yeah, for sure. Th%—it’s your first record you ever recorded. Shout out my [ __ ], uh, DJ Incognito. He the program director now. At that time, he was just—not just a DJ. I’m not sure what his actual position—I think he was a mix show DJ. But your first record you ever recorded, first song I ever recorded in the studio, first record ever on the [ __ ] radio was the first song ever on the radio. Come on, man. [ __ ] you know. All right, so let’s, let’s describe the situation that doesn’t happen. Yeah, you in the Trap recording. That’s why I was at—when I heard it on the radio, I was in the car in between making plays and I said that like, “I got they ass,” like I’m like, “Damn.” And then Black Jesus. But you know, Jesus is already black. That’s hard. Hard like, but yeah, very—that that white version of Jesus, not the right—yeah, not the right version. But you schooling people. So what makes you call it Black Cheesus? I call it Blackes—that’s—I, he said the remix. The remix. Baby got the remix. We drink CHS. We been, we been SI. All good, my [ __ ]. I’m right here, I’m with you [ __ ]. Maybe you can go back, right? I heard you, I heard you. He made Baby Jesus. Yeah, I in Baby Jesus. My B. Yeah, baby with me. That, that right there, that baby Black Jesus, Baby Jesus, Black baby Jes—goddamn it. But that, that name, you know, with that name, with me, meet you was—and that name, that was more so—not more so—that had 100% to do with like me feeling like my purpose was wasn’t for me, it was for others. Like, “I’m here to do for others.” Like, “I’m willing to sacrifice myself for others.” You get what I’m saying? That’s what I’ve been doing. That’s what I continue to do day in and day out. You know what I’m saying? So that was more about that, like my purpose being to do for others more so than for myself. You know what I mean? Cuz I can—you know, I done had everything. I didn’t had everything, you know, that I can—goddamn, everything. It was to the point to where I [ __ ], I take a jet to go here to go shopping for the day and goddamn, come back home, type [ __ ], like you know, I had it like that. So you know what I’m saying? I ain’t—but that type [ __ ] wasn’t, isn’t fulfilling, you know, to me compared to goddamn doing something for somebody else and giving them the tools or the resources they need to goddamn attain something that they strive for. That type [ __ ] make me feel like I got a billion dollars. You get what I’m saying? That, that type [ __ ] make me—that’s what I’m about. You know what I’m saying? Seeing somebody else, you know, believe in they self enough to go after something, aid them, even if I don’t—we seeing them achieve it, period. Like that type [ __ ] to me, that’s, that [ __ ] is more valuable than anything. That’s priceless. So you know, it’s that, that even going, even now, like the reason why I ended up going with that name initially and all that [ __ ], like the reason why the morals and principles behind that, that [ __ ] still ain’t changed, like yeah, that still ain’t changed. Like I’m, that’s
Still, what I stand on today. M. Yeah, I could have been, if I was a selfish [ __ ], I'd have been somewhere satisfied enough for life. I'd have been straight somewhere, you know what I'm saying? I ain't going to lie. Jesus will work right now. Yeah, it was never about a [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? It was never about me, you know. Right now, you pick a picture with you, yeah, holding you, yeah. L [ __ ]. No, that's it, like [ __ ], they holding you like baby Jesus. Facts. I got to do is hold one of my daughters. Uhuh, just like my, yeah, real light. I was talking, yeah, I talk about Jean Paul, yeah [ __ ], thean [ __ ], why Gotan [ __ ]. He got me drunk. He don't know no Haan man, the artist. You definitely not a haian man, the nigga that haian arti do a jump PA. You be off by a whole his his his art of baby Jesus. Uh huh. Yeah, the yeah yeah, it's [ __ ] fly [ __ ] yo fly [ __ ]. Might be a potential like album name, what in cover for sure. Yeah. [Music]

I think Shaq DM'd me, you know I mean, in the midst of all the chaos and [ __ ] like, but just some, you know, everyday real [ __ ] [ __ ]. But that's not common, that ain't nowhere near as common as you think. You get what I'm saying? Youp from a Shaq, but he yeah, and I can't even tell y'all exactly what he said. I could probably go to it. A good dude, he a good. When they tried to cancel us, yeah, that was one of the first people that called me right, was Shaq, and it was weird to me cuz I like, damn, I felt like hip-hop should have came to my rescue, you hear me? I mean, Shaq is hip-hop though, don't get it twisted. Yeah, but but that's not where he made his money from. I know, know it's [ __ ] you that made money with, yeah. I felt like when I went my sh, I feel like, damn, and and I'm sitting around walking, he talking about the after the yay [ __ ], yeah, you know what I'm talking about, right? Yeah, and the first person that called me, Pharrell called me, big him up. Um, plenty of other people called me, but Shaq was the first person to called me, and he actually offered me something. He was like, are you good? And I was like, yeah, I'm good. He was like, well, just in case. And I was just like, I felt honored, like this man, like, so when I heard that, you know, when you was going through yours, Shaq gave you a call. I was like, yeah, Shaq is a real one, like like he's actually a real one. No, I agree. He definitely reached. Yeah, I mean, if you could, you don't have to talk about, I ain't see what he said, but how did that feel like, like somebody, oh no, I not, it felt same way, it it was an honor, you know what I mean? It was it was it was super honorable of him, like, and not only that, like this Shaq, this a [ __ ] that the [ __ ] been a fan of, you know what I'm saying, his whole life, [ __ ] been looked up to, [ __ ] that's that's Superman, [ __ ], that's uh uh what's the movie called? Uh, I said it the wrong way when I was on this podcast, said Shazam. I said Shazam. You said it wrong. Yeah, I'm saying it wrong with you, you got me [ __ ] up. It's Kazam, all that [ __ ]. So it was yeah, like like like I've been, you know, been a fan of this [ __ ] all the way around the board, you know what I'm saying? So they even see that a [ __ ], you know, reaching out and and [ __ ] with a [ __ ] on that level, and and that these type of [ __ ] is in tune with me and and admire me in any form, way, or fashion, you know what I'm saying? It's it's you know, all the way down, even with [ __ ] like you see that type [ __ ] is, I ain't a [ __ ] to take that [ __ ] lightly, like even as a as a young [ __ ], I'm 32 now, but even as like a young [ __ ], like I always been that young [ __ ] that all the OGs love, like always been there for whatever reason, you get what I'm saying? Like all those Jesus, like you know I [ __ ] with him, they they'll front me goddamn 50 50 lbs, they they won't get your ass a zip. Like I ain't even talking to that [ __ ] nigga, don't a understand why he [ __ ] with why he [ __ ] with John like that, why, but it's you know. So when I when I see it in something outside of the streets, when I see it in something completely different, you know what I mean? Like it's to me and them them moments right there, it be just a testament to, you know, I'm a lil [ __ ], like how I said with y'all [ __ ], you a l [ __ ], I'm a ill [ __ ] be. Yeah, [ __ ], it's just you know, it's just a testament to that when I see moments like that, bro, and you know, and I'm grateful, you know I mean, to say the least, like that's [ __ ] Shaq, you dig what I'm saying? Like reaching out and the [ __ ] he saying like the and how simple he put it in what he said, I don't want to say it. Yeah, might you know, he helped me down. Yeah, for sure, for sure. Let me ask you real quick, he ain't offer me no bag though. I'd have been like, man, 20 million worth his shows, man. But he did, he he got a watch, he got a watch. I got a watch. I got a couple. What did he give me a watch? Yeah, during the [ __ ], I probably would have been like, what I'm going to do with that? He a give me no W, but n he didn't give me no W. You got one? Dam Shaq [ __ ] with me. No, you don't want n no. What you mean no? Man, we all got one. I I got one too. I a I got one of those. Mm hum, wearing this right here, it's like this right. What up, man? I got one of a kind [ __ ], top of the best of the best. You supposed to had that [ __ ] on. Yeah, you should have had it on, bro. Yeah, yeah, for sure. This what this 41? You damn man, he a good dude. Yeah, when when he give you that, when he give you that, when he came on the show like a little bit right after that that sh, that's for his R hey. Yeah, go ahead, my [ __ ]. Yeah, you got [Music] to. We love, I never it, I love it. You're not for put down the glass. Listen, we didn't finish. You you you kind of skated, you went off of the story. What story? When you met 50 at the the double XEL thing, how y'all connected, like what was the connection? Um, I think I thought that was my partner over there with nephew at his birthday. Um, like what is it that like when when she connected y'all, like what was it that y'all connected on, like what was that common ground? So so I had she I was at a media dinner, and um, somebody that was there to she was there. It was me, her, and Vanessa. We was off to the side, we was talking, and she asked me, um, would I would I ever be interested in like venturing off in the film, you know what I'm saying? Like based off of like the way she see like my approach to music videos and [ __ ] like that, you know what I mean? Just me as a creative period. And I uh I told her, yeah, like that's something I definitely want to get into, and I just got to talking, you know what I'm saying? About like, you know, the love I got forward, how I already been investing the entire time in like the same equipment that they use to shoot the best movies in the world, all that [ __ ] like I've been acquiring all these things and acquiring the knowledge all the way along the way and spending my own money to gain experience and learn as much as I can about the [ __ ], like when I got to talk, I get to talking like that real quick, it don't take long at all, you know what I'm saying? And she the Vanessa looked at me like, cut me off like, Miss like, you met 50 yet? And I'm like, nah, hell no, but can't wait, you know what I'm saying? Like, can't wait, I love to meet him. And she got damn, and I continue to talk, she FaceTime the [ __ ] right there on the spot, and goddamn, oh, he wasn't there. I thought he was there. No, not at the media. She you on the on FaceTime. Yeah, he was at a um I don't know what he was doing right then and there, but he said, pull up on him tomorrow at like uh the rehearsal or whatever, he had like a rehearsal or some [ __ ] going on. He said, pull up on tomorrow. He had a rehearsal for um one of the premieres. He'll do the he'll do the premieres, he'll do a little concert, red carpet [ __ ], the premieres for uh one of the shows on Power or whatever. He was doing a rehearsal. He said, pull up B me, I'll be here tomorrow. So I pulled up in between the press run and the [ __ ] I had going on in New York. I pulled up on him. Uh, he was in the middle of rehearsal. He came off in the back room while they was waiting on them the rest of the [ __ ] out there, dancers, whoever else, DJ, whoever, right, doing like sound check and rehearsal for the show. And uh, I hollered at him. Now, this this is a conversation that could have been, you know what I'm saying? Two two minutes, you know what I'm saying? Two to five minutes, whatever. It could have been just 2 minutes, 30 seconds. Just pleasure to meet you, my [ __ ], you know what I mean? Just wanted to pull up on you. I'm approaching it anyway. N ain't no industry, but it could have been that. No, I mean, it ain't I'm not pulling up on nobody on no industry. No, not you. I'm saying it could have been that vibe, but it wasn't. Yeah, n so I mean that wasn't even a factor. It's 50 and baby, so it's you know, it's different, you. I mean, like I ain't even you know, but I pull up on them, it could have lasted whatever, like, and on some like it's real [ __ ], like it ain't I ain't got to do nothing. I don't need nothing but 5 seconds to tell a real [ __ ], right? How hey [ __ ], I I've been looked at you as a real [ __ ], goddamn boom boom. It don't take nothing but 5 seconds and and and within the handshake a real nigga's going to know, you feel me? Okay, boom. Exactly. You know, we going we going to receive that, and boom, know what that is, and then we'll move forward in the future accordingly when we bump into each other again. But it could have lasted however long, I just wanted to, you know, get in the room with the [ __ ] and meet the [ __ ]. Um, and and me and BR sat there, we talked for like two hours, hours, you know what I'm saying? Like [ __ ] like his team kept coming in, you know, 50 real punctual [ __ ], like he on time, he with everything he do, he's on time, he on point, like he don't you know, he don't [ __ ] around. That man got a lot going on. Lawyer go with him everywhere, like his team is boom, like you know, you know what I mean? Like that's another [ __ ] that nigga's that nigga's different, that [ __ ] right there is different, you get what I'm saying? That's that's 50, and that [ __ ] he hustling right now, he he out hustling every last one of us, and I know y'all hustling, I know y'all getting that, ain't no disrespect to y'all, this [ __ ] here. Yeah, we know, man. Let's go, man. Look, that [ __ ], I don't [ __ ] can out hustle me. I'm that type of [ __ ], man, that [ __ ] there. I'm telling you, he already he already in a position to where he probably don't even got to do that as much as neither one of us got to do. You know, I ain't counting nobody's pockets, but you feel me? Let let me count mine. He defin I definitely need to be working harder than him [ __ ], you see what I'm saying? [ __ ] that. So n with that being said, we sat down, we talked, bro, for like over two hours, like his team steady coming in, we got to we got he had to do something, he had 30 40 people in the other room waiting on them to finish doing what they was doing, and we you know what I mean? We we chopped it up for like, bro, like like 2 and a half hours, you dig what I'm saying? Like like two and a half hours, I could say more, we chopped up for like two and a half hours, and from there, you got to think like even the [ __ ] with the rolling live [ __ ] that [ __ ] happened a week after that, right? So he got every reason in the world, man. I ain't [ __ ] with that [ __ ]. I just pumped into, yeah, whatever he got, I a hell no away from you, but he he didn't have to run away, he had just met me, so all he had to do is just you know, just leave leave that what that was, I wasn't even in the you know, in a way, no way. You say he kept he kept called you. He called me. He was the only one that called me. He he called me, goddamn, he one of the only ones to called me. He called me, not only called me, called the people around me, goddamn, what's going on? Why we ain't doing this this and this, like why y'all a like, you feel me? And then not only that, like you know when when the damage begin to quickly comp, he still stood there, he still stood in there with a [ __ ], like hell yeah, you know what I'm saying? N [ __ ] real [ __ ]. N for sure, and I ain't even the type of [ __ ] to like to let a [ __ ], I don't let [ __ ] do like more than one favor for me without me without me even in the score, like I don't I don't play that [ __ ], like I don't I'm not that type of [ __ ], like I'll fall flat on my face and stay there until I goddamn can get back up before I ever let a [ __ ] goddamn overextend their self, you you know what I'm saying? For me, like I'm I'm all about eating what I kill, and goddamn, you know, just me as a man, like that's what I represent, but that's a real [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? A real nigga know you know with [ __ ] just set up like me, [ __ ] just set up like that, like relentless within they hustle and you know what they stand on, how they believe in their self, a [ __ ] who embody that same [ __ ], they know even if that [ __ ] really do need some help, he never going to say it, you get what I'm saying? In times where I where I for show needed help, where I needed goddamn you know this that that [ __ ] did the [ __ ], you know, standing nothing in the game, you get what I'm saying? And consistently, you know what I'm saying? Consistently. So shout out to that [ __ ], man, super yeah yeah, super real [ __ ]. So I'm I'm going to ask you one more question and you real fast. Um um um every song about the album, but let me just ask you this one uh, Baby on QC, right? The album, it's that's the only time I remember hearing you and Lil Baby together. Yeah, and there was rumors that you guys was going to do a whole album together. Yeah, we was talking about doing some some joint [ __ ], okay, at a certain point. So why is that the only record? Like we I mean [ __ ] with the way this [ __ ] go, and then me and BR, we was in the studio, we was we was in the studio. What is it? What is it right now? October, this probably like I it was a couple months ago, maybe like like four or five months ago, but we didn't been in there, we got like two songs that we did. One of them one of them we definitely plan on using, but with me and bro, way the way when I had my wave going, when I was on top of the game, he was on top of the game, and that [ __ ], you know, and we bumped into each other, we still did what we did and made a song and charted on Billboard and [ __ ], you get what I'm saying? So as far as like what we done did after that, we done been doing so much other [ __ ] that ain't even really that ain't really about nothing. When we do bump in the room, you know, fire. Yeah, we do what we do, and that's another you know, like I that that like that's a [ __ ] for for a [ __ ] to even have a name that similar to [ __ ] name, you get what I'm saying? For him to be goddamn boom, the one that the one that got it going on when I pop out the way I pop out and for both [ __ ] to even get what I'm for a [ __ ] to even be able to stand in there and you know what I mean? Like cuz I was there, you know what I'm saying? Like for and and not only that and bro was there, so for a [ __ ] to you know, not not goddamn, you got to be a certaint, you either this type of [ __ ] or that type of [ __ ], any other [ __ ] in the world that would have had names that close that that would have had careers pop, you know what I mean? With they that close a margin, goddamn, he popped like he popped before me, but like right there, boom boom. Yeah, you most definitely would have learned like if like any [ __ ] ass [ __ ], it was already boom cuz he popped before me, right? And let a [ __ ] your name Lil Baby and a [ __ ] pop up DaBaby. Any we didn't seen it before, but I'm not even about to try to jog my memory, pinpoint these [ __ ].
But like any other [ __ ], like they would completely, like consume they self with the idea, this [ __ ], trying to, you know, they would feel threatened, you know what I mean? What happen? Sound totally no, not for sure, absolutely, but but yeah, so that [ __ ], you know, shout out to bro, real [ __ ]. And that's another [ __ ], like we got the same, I don't know where I got them, seen BR uh, like why godamn, you know why? Why godamn? Why navigating through the [ __ ] and the uh, the controversy and [ __ ]. Oh my lawyer, we had the same, we had the same uh attorney and [ __ ], we was the same attorney. So he was on my attorney was on the phone with me. I was calling my attorney about some [ __ ] we got going on, checking up on the case, and he was over there with bro, walking from, yeah, bro was over there with him. I don't know if they was at court. No, I was at court with my attorney. We had just walked out of the courtroom and we in like the hallway when we going on a goddamn lunch or something. And between the [ __ ] and bro was calling him about some [ __ ] he got going on, you feel me right? And bro was like right there with me, so he talking to me, FaceTime talking to him, look who I'm with, I'm on the phone with this one, and he put the phone on me and the [ __ ], yeah, hey I'm with you [ __ ], I'm with you godamn, call, hit me, get my number from and call me, I'm with you. So you know, shout out to that [ __ ], that's still another [ __ ], real [ __ ]. It's simple as that, real [ __ ]. So it's far why we don't got another, so we we got one, okay? Yeah, we have more that [ __ ] in Du time, we ain't tripping, all right.
So I'm going ask you three questions before I get to the, and then I just one word answers for the uh mixtape right, but um, crybaby, nasty, and cash [ __ ], what does that tell you? That that you going back to what I was saying about U, the type [ __ ], me and M was making before. Yeah, yeah, come home baby, you ain't got to be making all that that lame [ __ ] with none of these other [ __ ], you can we can come get it in, or we, you know, we cannot. Y'all make beautiful music, we yeah, you got, I know how to talk that [ __ ], for lack of a better term. Yeah, got like Jay-Z and Foxy Brown. I went too far, nah, sorry, no, you that was accurate. Do you? Yeah, that was accurate. Do you? So I I need to hear more Jay-Z and Foxy Brown. I need to hear more. I'm open to it. Yeah, yeah. So shout out to Meg and any other female out here doing their thing. I don't got nothing bad to say about no black woman doing their [ __ ] thing, man. I ain't tripping, this hard enough out here, you get what I'm saying? So cuz you know, when I when I I se your music, but male and female rappers like, yeah, like collaborating like, I mean, I ain't seen it, I ain't seen nothing else, you see what I'm saying? I love to too, it ain't no thing, it ain't nothing where I'm like y I want to, you got to make this happen, T man, what it's all good. But yeah, not we make some [ __ ], we talk that [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? I would love to see, I love to see, I love to do some [ __ ] with GL, to anybody, any female that like that talk that [ __ ], you just go listen to how the [ __ ] is this a mixtape, and you can keep, you know, I could cuz I could talk that [ __ ], you know, by my goddamn self, that why I, you know, did 14 song, No features, but no features, no Fe, not not one of them. It just sound like you said 14 SS with features, no, none of them, not I want them to be C, that's what dope about it, no features. Yeah, n for sure, so n, but shout out, shout out to any female in the game, cuz that's who dominating right now, them two lot, everybody, everybody man, shout out to all of them, you know what I'm saying? Every female doing their [ __ ] thing, dominating, they standing on [ __ ], a lot of y'all standing on [ __ ].
How many females you could you can name doing this [ __ ] right now? Uh, a lot, I, Nicky, that's right, you know what I'm saying? Obviously uh, yeah, Nicki me uh uh glow for show, glow, Nick M glow uh uh uh lot for show, that new [ __ ] she dropped so hard [ __ ], iceice, understand some definitely, I was going that route, ice spice, you Co Ray, Co Ray, oh uh man, plenty bro, what we talking about? Rappers, talking about rappers, shout out Rap City. Yeah uh, Rap City, definitely, he said rappers, rapity, I respect your yeah, you got I respect your hood, hood this what the fu, what does that mean? Cardi B, anybody like they ain't they out they out this [ __ ], they ain't playing, and a't nobody here for MC light, still killing the game, ain't too many [ __ ] really standing for something except for me and them goddamn uh [ __ ] bro, who else? Who else man, it's a lot, Leia, I like her, um, who's uh yeah, hey chick from Florida, um Flo Millie, Flo is that is that the one, don't get I ain't saying she the one from Florida, she from Florida, JT, no man, the one that broish, yesi, Miami, huh, she's ill bro, shei um beia man, all of them all bro, it's more too, it's way more sexy [ __ ], red sexy [ __ ], red, I should have said [ __ ] red, I should have said you first, sexy, I should have said her, what you doing with all them? I mean, he got somewhere to go, what you want me to do? Not be great, oh you going to put him up in yeah, you you want something though? No, not do you my [ __ ], I got I come on like this [ __ ], she can't gave the [ __ ] like 16 blunt me with the straight face and walked off and he like, hell yeah, I'mma need them, I mean, what you want me to do? I want you to do you my, hey hey, let me tell you something, I'm so glad that when I passed the torch, yeah, that torch came to you. I'mma accept that with open arms, I'mma accept that my [ __ ], I appreciate that. When they went to a lot of other [ __ ], I was disappointed openly, but when I see a [ __ ] like you, first off, did you hear the mixtape? You didn't hear? Yeah, I did. Oh my God, I was like oh my, and then you destroyed this [ __ ]. Yeah, by yourself, you got other voices on there, but so when you saying no features, what you mean is like no known features, but I see other, you don't got no other voice. I mean, if anything, no no, this is this is number, what's this? The Joint that what was the joint that Rel list the ain't going? Yeah, so I do this thing called the baby talk hotline where I I put a phone number up and I allow my fans to just call me and connect with me directly. I answer phone cu the phone ring, it be about 5,000 calls within goddamn 30 minutes, you know what I'm saying? And I'm I'm on the phone with a with a female and she give me this real powerful message, this real heartfelt message, and then at the end she just saying yeah, and the way you do this and the way you do that, she was talking about my kids and this and that, she like that [ __ ] turn me the [ __ ] on, that's what she said, shout out to Brit brat from Detroit um, and then she she signed off and cleared it and I'm like, I want to put you on my project and [ __ ] really, I pulled up to the studio, my my engineer, my producer uh Sean the first Brody KO, they just press play after I did a different song, I think it was after I did uh I think I did what did I do that night? It might have been it might have been fat, but I think I did fat in La, so I might be wrong, but it was after I did another song, it was like that, it was fat, it was th% fat, which is on the project, to how the [ __ ] is this a mix a hit, that's a rocket automatic right, and they press play and I heard the beat with the I heard shorty voice and I remember it being from the [ __ ] cuz we had, you know, we posted and and we got it's a whole page that they that my team got created for it or whatever the way we, you know, we we put the phone calls on there and let the females see, you know what I mean, my reaction to it, you know what I mean? But um, sent her the [ __ ] song, told her I got got the [ __ ] going, I posted it and then uh F her, I said somebody find her for me, they F her on their Instagram, undefeated, and then I I reached out to I got a number, she signed off on it, and I'm going to do something real special with her too for the video for that song. So yeah, shout out to her, but other than that, no features, that's just the only person, only feature on there is a fan, a Fan's voice is simple, but it's it's like a [Music] sample I like on a couple of them where you hear like, you know, Little voices singing in the background of the beat type [ __ ] right, that's but no features, no no featur, absolutely none of them, 14 songs, that's equivalent to Naas Nas's first album had no features, that one feature, the one feature was AZ was an unknown artist then Q-tip kind of didn't he say one love? Q-tip um produce the beat, but then he say one love, but he did say one love, never said featuring qti, obviously. Yeah, what I'm saying is what he did, he had the Highlight, he has the highlight and it comes and then says I'mma show y'all who the [ __ ] I am for sure, nigas got to see me, and he did it, dooo me and every track I'm sitting like going, okay, let's that's you, that's H, that's you want the May back, who may back? What do you want me to do? Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, you right, you right, let me sit, want to let me sit up, my bad man, God damn, what the [ __ ] type of question was that? Yeah, yeah, you you riding in there listening to that, yeah, that's how you oh oh oh oh, that's your oh yeah, that's where I was listening to, okay, so now I understand you're lying to question it, the way you you you lined it up, you [ __ ] up n cuz we going to sign your podcast, by the way, we going to sign your podcast, okay? For sure, yo, your podcast is on the drink Champs Network, right? Yeah, is we figure it out, what's the name of your podcast, let's just so we we it we got some [ __ ] and it and I wouldn't even call it a but it's the baby talk hotline and it's like where I open up the a phone line to my fans and we let them call in, but we really got it put together the way I could do it, yeah, nostalgic [ __ ], you know what I mean? Let them call in and talk to me right then and there, it's a way for me to directly connect with the fans, we got a system put in place to where we can do it with video now, you know what I mean? Talking about the sex hotline, you get you're talking about the sex, that's what we started, that's what we talking about, sex, talking about no damn sex hotline bro, that's you and your own, I ain't going to lie, this they going automat, they got the freedom to go wherever they want to go, I got the option, I've been listening to your [ __ ] for months, yeah, and you are Tupac L mixed together and this nigga's horny Montana, just being honest, do you not hear this this [ __ ] [ __ ] everybody?
