Your face has been on the news a lot. There's a video that came out recently.
"Get pregnant with the WORD OF GOD. YOU GOING TO GET PREGNANT WITH THE WORD OF GOD AND I WALK IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS. GIVE THEM SOME PRAISE. AND CAN YOU HELP ME?"
"Well, here we go. That's what sinners do. They make fun of things that they know nothing about. All mega pastors want is your money. Really? Did you interview them? It was a wonderful theatrical production, but it was just trash."
In the book of Acts, it started with 3,000 people in one day, a mega church. Then 2,000 people the next day, another mega church. Do you know that there's another mega church? Several that have paid off all of the medical bills of their congregation members. You are so money hungry that you actually negotiate the sale of the son of God. People don't read the Bible, they read preachers. And as soon as they see one preacher that's off, they come up with a whole doctrine that all preachers they think are this way. Wrong. This is why Christians need to shut up and start doing what Jesus said in the scripture. The money preachers that you're judging. How many days have you prayed for them? And right now, you don't have the presence of God in the church. You have preaching and singing. But they think power is that. That ain't power. I'm not saying every person that does that is out of order. What I'm saying is those are antics of the spirit. That's not the spirit. If you don't obey God with the first instruction, a second one never comes.
"Many pastors are following the instructions of Satan and don't even know it. They don't know it because the instructions are good, not sinful."
"Some of y'all preach a race. You don't even preach salvation. When the last time somebody got saved at your church? They have no idea how abortion empowers the dark side. Because they're imitating innocent blood. The reason why we're so powerful is because of the blood of Jesus. Jesus' blood was sinless. So in order to duplicate their power, they need the most innocent blood they can, which that of a child. A woman's right. Yeah. She got a right to go to hell. Fools in the pulpit telling people that it's okay to kill kids. Then you are the ones that's also preaching race."
"This girl had so many demons she couldn't handle all of them coming out. She flipped upside down and tried to bang herself against the bed to try to kill herself. Opens her eyes and it's a man in her body. I said, 'What is your name?' He said, 'My name is Jason.' 'Jason.' 'I said, 'That's a stupid name for a demon.' He said, 'You the one stupid. I'm human.' He said, 'The demons couldn't get the job done. They too weak for y'all. So I came to kill her myself.' Satan was getting witches, humans, to lay their bodies down. It's called astral projection. The girl is sitting on the floor, which is ministering to her. All of a sudden, she does this. I'm going to assume that you are too ignorant to understand who I am when it comes to being a son of God. This will be the last time you do this. I said, 'You understand what I'm saying?' He said, 'I understand.' He said, 'It will not happen again.' I said, 'I hope so for your life's sake.' And then this is what happened. I am honored. The man that I have sitting across from me, I said, 'Look, I actually had Did I put a thread out?' I said, 'I need this. I need him to be on this podcast or else I got to show up.' 'Yes. Yes. And when I had that first conversation with you, man, the humility that that you expressed, man, and your willingness, I I've never seen that in in a man of God like yourself. I just want to say welcome to We Need to Talk, Pastor OA Turbo. Thank you so much for being here.' 'Yes. Glad to be here, brother. Glad to be here, man. Listen. Okay, I'm about to get straight to this. Your face has been on the news a lot, dealing with a lot of issues.' 'Yeah. Before I jump to those issues, I want to kind of know how did you become this person? Because for many of us, you popped out of nowhere. Start seeing your face and you were sharing great wisdom, dropping gems, and it just seems like it came from out of the blue. So, I kind of want to know that process and then we got to dive into some of these things.' 'Yeah. Well, you know, uh, in all humility, I'll just say it this way, and that is great men don't pop out of nowhere. Um, it's what you do when no one is looking determines what happens when everyone is looking.' 'Okay?' 'And so, you know, honestly, I started a new series at our church called the School of Eternity. And the Holy Spirit told me, he said, "I've been training you for this since 1993." So, it's just been, that's when I rededicated my life to Christ was in 1993.' 'Okay?' 'And just start. And then you know it's funny when I rededicated my life to Christ, I told the Holy Spirit, I said, "I want to be in a position where no matter what anyone asks me in the future, I can give them an accurate answer." Holy Spirit replied and said, "You'll never be comfortable for the rest of your life. In order for me to put you in that position, I'm going to have to take you through some things. You're going to have to learn some things." And so, you know, the Bible says, "What you do in secret, the Lord will award you openly." And in scripture, you see this word all the time. Suddenly, suddenly this happened. Suddenly, I mean, you think about Moses. He was in the desert for 40 years. And all of a sudden, you asked me to roll up against the biggest country, you know, in planet Earth with a stick. And so, so, so, yeah, it's just that and you have to be, you know, when when the Lord is going to use you to do big things and great things, you have to be trained in private. You have to be tempered. You have to be tested. You have to be tried. You have to know what things feel like. So yeah, my face is all over the news and everything else and that's not going to change. But you have to be able to handle that.' 'Yes.' 'Um when that stuff happens, you know, I always tell people none of that stuff impresses me because none of that stuff was around when I was building.' 'Whoa.' 'And so if it wasn't around when I was building, I really don't need it now that I'm going to continue to build that. Those things if you're not careful, can be a distraction. Like I knew I was supposed to do your podcast, but there are others that I felt an invisible hand saying, "No, that's a distraction." And so you can't be moved by the fame, the glory, all of that. None of that means anything.' 'Also, you're not a celebrity pastor.' 'No, it's no. No, it's I joke with my I try to pretend to be a celebrity pastor around my wife. You know, I put on sunglasses when we go in the store so nobody recognize me. She like, "Boy, you ain't nobody." you know, but uh but no, no, it's um it's, you know, when you start moving up in this level, you naturally become famous. I can hardly go anywhere without people recognize me.' 'Wow.' 'Um it doesn't matter where I am. You know, I'll go to a restaurant, four or five people recognize me in a restaurant. But all of that means nothing. That just means that they saw me on a video on a regular basis. And so you can't let that stuff get to your head because the truth be told, if you remove everything the Lord did for me, 'Come on.' 'If you remove every instruction, if you remove every open door and every closed door, if you remove all of that, I'm still a nobody. And I'm still a nobody. Regardless of how great you become, you're still a nobody. So So I don't take these things to my head because I recognize that it really is the Lord's hand. The first thing God told Abraham was he was going to make his name famous.' 'God doesn't have a problem making your name famous as long as you give glory to God and recognize that I might make you famous in order to accomplish certain things but you're not better than anybody.' 'So I recognize that and that's always how I carry myself. I know I always tell people all the time I am not special. I just have a special assignment.' 'Yes.' 'That's a difference. Sometimes people they would say to me, "Man, when I met you, I had no idea that you would be this humble or uh you're so much humble. You're so much more humble than I expected or all these things." And I'm just like, "Man, I have not yet found a reason not to be humble." 'Oh, yeah. Absolutely.' 'What would I be prideful about? A gift that God gave me that he could take away at any time.' 'Yeah.' 'What am I going to be prideful about? The only way I could be prideful is if I believe the delusion, the foolish delusion that let's say you saw me on a video that got a lot of views or you saw me perform well. You saw a snippet.' 'Yeah.' '10-minute snippet. You don't live with me. You don't know. Now, if my wife is not as impressed with me as you are, then that's a problem. And I can't believe you cuz she with me 24/7. Yeah.' 'So, I like when people say like, "How could you be so humble?" I don't feel like I'm being humble. God needs to check me in humility in different areas. But to be convinced that I am what you thought I was, that's not hard for me.' 'Yeah. A lot of people they I'm a lion in the pulpit. So I preach very very bold, but that's because the Bible says when the anointing comes upon you, you'll be turned into another man. So a lot of people, they see me in the pulpit. 'Oh.' 'And so when they see me on the street, they're like, "Oh, he's just like a regular guy." Yeah. When you when you see me preaching, I tell my congregation all the time, you hear my voice, but you don't see the one speaking. And so when you preach at that particular level, there's an anointing that comes upon you and it gives you heightened abilities. Man, you should come after I talk to the first time visitors after I'm done preaching, man, I sound just as goofy because the Holy Spirit is done using me. Okay, well, we're done with the sermon, so now we can go. So now you left on your own, man. I sound just as goofy. I had to come up with a little template with the first- time visitors. Okay, this is my wife. This is this man because but yeah, so you know I'm I am a lion of because you know it's Jesus is a lion. I mean Jesus didn't I mean Jesus preached at such a level where people stood in the desert for three days straight and didn't eat. You don't get that if you don't preach high. So, but Jesus was a regular man because he said the qualifying factor for following me is that I'm meek and lowly. So, I think I think when guys become famous, they forget that Jesus was more famous than any of us. But he said follow me because I'm meek and lowly. He didn't even say follow me because I'm the son of God. He said follow me because of my meekness and my loneliness. And so, I've been blessed greatly with great men. Praise God. that pastor hu my current pastor he pastor the largest church in the world and I mean if he walked in the room he carries himself like he has five people that's how he got to the top of the mountain you know so yeah'
'You know what? Okay, so I think it's time. I just wanted cuz you got me so hyped that you my type of person. So this there's there's a video that that came out recently and when this drops it probably will still be kind of recent. It was a comedian.' 'Mhm.' 'That was basically depicting a a pastor of a mega church. And the name of the the the post, he named it mega pastors love money. And he just goes in and he just, you know, you know, you get a blessing, you get a blessing, and does a lot. And at the end of it, he, you know, someone runs up for prayer and he said, you know, get the f away from me. That kind of mindset and just him counting money and just like making a fool of what's going on in churches or namely mega churches. What do you feel about not just that particular situation but the way that the world has made a caricature of what we do in the church?'
'Yeah. Well, here we go. I'mma answer it a couple of different ways. Number one, that's the stupid stuff sinners are supposed to do. That's what sinners do is they make fun of nothing. They make fun of things that they know nothing about. I have always been against this thing of attacking mega churches. Okay, watch this. All mega pastors want is your money. Really? Did you interview them? Did you walk into their business with an accountant and say, "Let me see your files and see how you use your money." How do you know what mega pastors are doing when you haven't talked to them? I'm becoming a mega pastor, but they don't know. I don't even do offerings in my church service. See, so these guys know nothing about the dog, but they saw a couple of fools on television. And yes, in every profession, you have a couple of people that mess it up for everyone. Well, you have fake pastors that are money hungry, but that's not the majority. You have doctors that can't do nothing. That's not the majority. You have lawyers that can't win a case. That's not the majority. You have police officers that have gone rogue, but that is not the majority. So, I expect unbelievers to do that type of stuff, but guess what? Do you actually think it's going to make people that are right with God leave the church? You think it's gonna stop our results because y'all make fun of us? They can make 10 million videos a day about the church. The church is still going to keep growing because the Bible says God adds to the church. Okay. So, second thing is is this thing of again attacking mega pastors. There are some Christians like, "Oh yeah, he's exposing." No, he's not exposing anything except for that he's an unbeliever and that he is just simply acting a fool. It was a wonderful theatrical production, but it was just trash because again, they don't know. They don't know. They don't know that they see, watch this. I'll prove something to you. When people start getting numbers, people start getting jealous. If you read the Bible accurately, Jesus had 20 to 30,000 people around him at all times. That's the reason why when he fed the fish in the loaves, it was 5,000 men by themselves. In the book of Acts, it started with 3,000 people in one day, mega church, then 2,000 people the next day, another mega church. So God is always into numbers. So what are we supposed to do? So y'all attack us because we're growing and having a mega church. So what is we supposed to do? Standing outside with a sign and tell the people to go to another place because the sinners don't like the fact that we have a lot of numbers. What are we supposed to do? Close the doors of the church because people stop coming? Mega churches become mega churches because people like what they hear?'
'Wow. Now, there are a few mega churches that yes, they play a few financial games and stuff like that, but that is not the norm. Even CNN years ago said that when they did their research, they found that mega churches were the ones helping poor people more than anybody else. But see, again, these people are saying, "Oh, mega church, mega church, mega church." Yeah, but did you see our numbers? Do you know that I gave Do you know that I don't do offerings in our church service, but I did one offering last year and raised 100 grand in one offering, but gave all of it to the poor? No, you don't know that. But that's what a mega church did. Do you know that there's another mega church? Several that have paid off all of the medical bills of their congregation members. See, so when people like that make videos, I put one word out, irrelevant. Irrelevant. They going to keep on making videos. I've seen several videos lately making fun of the church. Nothing. All it is is free advertising. So what's our position? What should be our position? Because there's a lot of Christian that's reposting it that we're laughing at it. uh we're celebrating the light. This is, you know, it's it's just funny or it's harmless. Is it harmless? Is it harmless comedy comedy or'
'Let me put this. The Bible says that the truth is evil spoken of because of the way you carry yourself. It's harmful for the reputation of the church, but it is not harmful for the true church. The true church, you can't do Bible says you can do nothing against the truth. The gates have So when it come to churches like ours, we laugh at stuff like that. Okay, wonderful. Make another video. It ain't going to stop what we doing.' 'Come on.' 'What? Okay. You made fun of You made fun of the fact that they raising money. You think my people going to stop giving because you made a dumb video about a couple of preachers that play financial games? No. No. There's not a day that goes by. There's not a day that goes by. I don't do offerings in the service. There's not a day that's gone by in 12 years that money doesn't come into my church every single day. Yet, I never mention it. You don't play games. It works. Okay. So, but again, so you know, but but from Christians, the Christians that make fun of it is usually because they either don't live right or they're judgmental. You got me. You you lead me to another point I got to ask before we we switch gears. So, there was a documentary that came out about uh it was called I don't know, I can name it because it was public. It's called the American Gospel. It talked about prosperity teaching and how you know in the I guess late 80s 90s it took over and then there it went to a time where a lot of prophets started to take that message and you know they will go to Africa and burden the people and a lot of these false prophets they come out and they're like I need just life savings all of these things we talked about these isolated incidents where this is happening but there is an ideology that has spread and it was they called it the word of faith movement but I don't think word of faith was specifically prosper What do you think about this idea of prosperity as it relates to believers? How should how should we position ourselves as it relates to prosperity and wealth? What does that look like for a disciple?'
'And the Lord reveals himself to me.' 'This is not a podcast. This is a deliverance ministry. God is going to deliver just as many if not more here than he does inside of church buildings.' 'And you got to keep giving yourself over to it. It's proving it to you over and over. the weightiness of your anointing. The Lord says thousands will be delivered.' 'Will you keep watching? Click the subscribe button. I'll wait. N seriously, subscribe right now. Also, like and share this video. The more you like, share, comment, and engage with this video, the more we're able to produce content just like this. And also, we got this merch. Got this merch. The link is in description. If you want to support the channel, you can also donate. That's also in the description. The more you guys support, the more we're able to produce content just like this. Thank you again. Peace.'
'Number one, nobody wants to be poor. All of the people that judge prosperity, they're not going to give their car away. They're not going to give their car. They all of the people The Lord told me something. He's No, I'll leave that alone. But let me let me put it this way. And that is it's not prosperity preaching, it's money preaching. There's a difference.'
'I'm a prosperity preacher. I'm not a money preacher. Oh.' 'A money preacher plays games and financial games to get your money to pat his pocket. That's a money preacher. A prosperity preacher. Jesus was a prosperity preacher. That's why he said, "The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came to give you life and life more abundantly." Most people don't know that the Bible says more about money than it does any other topic. It doesn't mean it's the most important one, but that's what it does. So again, prosperity preaching is if you have good health, that's prosperity. If you and your wife have a good relation, that's prosperity in your marriage. Okay. But but to say that it's wrong to preach prosperity, no. What you're talking about is money preachers.'
'There's a difference between a money preacher and a prosperity preacher. Okay? And so, but let me ask you a question too. And that is you have two sons. If you have two sons, I put it I won't I won't do two sons. You have two employees. One practices doing everything that you ask him to practice. He makes mistakes sometimes, but he gets back up and he tries to please you. He tries to do what you ask. Then you got another son that all he does is act a complete fool. You got a Then you have an inheritance of a million dollars and you don't have children, but you going to give it to those two employees. Which one you going to give it to? The one that's living, right, and doing what you say or the one that's acting a fool?' 'Responsible.' 'See, so so the problem is is that the the Bible actually says that the wicked nash their teeth when the righteous prosper. God is not even rich. He's not even abundant. He's opulent. This is an individual that paves his streets with gold. This is the individual that said, "I'm going to heaven to create a mansion for you." Okay? So, yes, if you do it wrong, those are money preachers. Individuals who say, "Up, the Holy Ghost told me, there are 10 people in here that's going to give $100. You can go to Walmart and this people got $100." So, the Holy See, watch this. If the Bible says when it comes to your giving, don't let your let your left hand know 'what your right hand' 'what your right hand does and it says let your giving be in secret.' 'Yes.' 'So if that's what the Bible says, why is God going to tell some prophet how much money you got in your pocket when it's supposed to be in secret? Those are broke people who play money games because God is not with them. When God is with you, you don't have to play money games. Ask me how many times I've done a special offering in 12 years. Zero. Except for the one that we did and we raised 100 grand to give it to the poor. And the reason why we did that one offering is because I had just been blessed with a $5 million building. Someone gave me a $5 million building. It used to be a movie theater. I told the congregation, "Hey, we need to do we need to do a lot of work on this building. So, let's this one time have an offering in the service, but whatever we raise, we're going to give it to the poor." We raised over a hundred grand in one offering. gave 50,000 to the poor churches in Zimbabwe and another 50,000 to the poor churches in Kenya. So all of the people that attack man money preachers, where were y'all when we did that? And I didn't even give to the poor cuz the Bible says when you give to the poor, you give a loan to God and he will repay you. Where were we all at when for 10 years anybody that asked for financial help from our church, we gave it to him. Had to stop it now because everybody asking. See, so so so people that do all of this type of stuff, what they do is they see a couple of people. 'They see a couple of people and then they say all of the preachers are doing this wrong. Same way they say they see a couple of police officers that did something wrong. Now the whole police department is wrong. No, it's just a couple of people.' 'That's all it is. Watch. Jesus had watch. Jesus had 12 disciples and one of them was a money preacher. His name is Judas. He was stealing the money for three years. And watch this. This is a secret. Jesus knew he was stealing the money and still kept him on his staff.' 'Oh my gosh.' 'Yeah, it's crazy.' 'It's crazy when you are so hung, you are so money hungry that you actually negotiate the sale of the son of God. Yeah. So, you always going to have money preachers. I'm a prosperity preacher and I don't make any excuses for it because my congregation members are prospering quite well. Many of them much greater than me. That's the worth of a real prosperity preacher. You teach what the Bible says about finances, about health, about relationships, about business, about everything. And then people prosper.'
'Wow. So you you that's a revelation for me. So the money preacher is preaching to manipulate to line his pockets. A prosperity preacher is preaching ways to empower the people, 'to grow.' 'Yeah. God.' 'And to say that Jesus has a problem with that. Yeah. You haven't read the first page of the Bible. Why? Why is I mean, think about it. Abraham rich. Job his riches were bragged on. They wanted They wanted us to know that Job was the richest man on the east side of the planet. Abraham rich, Job rich, King all of the kings rich, Isaac rich, Jacob rich. All of these men are rich. And God never told them to give their money away. The Bible says in the New Testament, "Instruct those that are rich that they not be arrogant and prideful, but that they be willing to share, not give all of their money away." That's in the New Testament. But see, people don't read the Bible. They read preachers. And as soon as they see one preacher that's off, they come up with a whole doctrine that all preachers they think are this way. Wrong. I always tell people all the time, how many preachers have you talked to? How many churches have you walked into and interviewed them? How many preachers have you went into and say, "Could we see your books to see how you give to determine if you a money or a prosperity preacher since all y'all want money?" They don't even know. Did you know that 85% 84% of the pastors in the United States, their salary is underneath the poverty level?' 'Oh my gosh.' 'They don't even know that. But they say, "All we want is money." No. Most preachers are poor. And some of the ones that are rich, they don't even take a salary. Did you know that some preachers, they simply invest in the stock market and don't take a salary? My pastor is the richest pastor in the world, but he gave away his salary like 20-some years ago and didn't tell a congregation cuz he did not want them to feel sorry for him. Yeah, but the Lord gave him fields where he sells food to the Chinese. Some pastors have business sense. So again, they can but again, y'all can attack us all y'all want to. It's not going to stop anything. And y'all are just judging stuff that y'all are ignorant about. Y'all have not interviewed us. Y'all don't know what we're doing day by day basis. You saw one guy on TV that did a money line and then came to the conclusion that all preachers are like this even though you have not talked to them. So I don't attack I don't attack mega pastors. Again, if the church is growing, see, and I'll say this last thing. This is why Christians need to shut up and start doing what Jesus said in the scripture.' 'Come on. And that is, watch this. The money preachers that you're judging, how many days have you prayed for them? The money preachers that you judging, did you actually call them on the phone and ask them, "Hey, what are you doing with your finances so I can know the truth about you?" Are you just coming to a huge judgmental conclusion that anybody that has a big church has to be doing it wrong? I'm sorry. Most of them are doing it right. It's a few that's doing it wrong. So again, I tell Christians, keep your mouth off of people when you haven't interviewed them. all money. They want your money. How do you know that? Simply because we have tithes and offerings that the Bible says you're supposed to do to help the work of the ministry and help advance causes around the planet. But see, the sinners, they attack us, but they spend their tithes and offers at the club.'
'Listen, I'm going to tell you this. People want men and women of God to be poor. People want people that are in ministry to always do it for free. I so many times we get accusations to say, you know, I always think about this like sometimes I have to put on when I would like to put on events and things like that for people. I'm like, man, we got to fly out all these people. How's put them in uh um, you know, hotels, we got to I want to bless people. I don't want people to just come out. I want them to be blessed cuz they're sacrificing their time. And then I'm like, okay, there has to be a registration. I don't want to charge a registration. I wish I didn't have to charge a registration. And I'm like, Lord, make me a multi-million dollar millionaire and I won't charge registration. But for now, I have to charge registration. And people like, oh, oh, so you're charging registration. Okay. Why couldn't it be free?' 'And I'm just like, you guys have no idea what it even takes. We got the building that we got to rent.' 'Thank you. But guess what? These are the same people that'll spend $30 to go to a club for a Shake What Your Mama Gave You contest. All right. Have a good day. I just you can't get me, bro. When you do it right, you cannot get somebody to do it right. It's so funny. Everything in the world, they understand. Watch this. These are the same people that'll go pay $3,000 to hear a motivational speaker tell you to do something that's free in the Bible. come with all of a sudden when we need to do same thing to teach you about righteousness and teach you about eternity, we supposed to do everything free. I had to tell somebody one time I had to tell somebody one time that I said a lot of the people that ask for financial help from churches are people who don't believe in tithes and offerings. But the only reason we were able to help you is because of the people that do believe in giving ti and offerings. So the people who do believe in giving that we set aside money to help your behind who doesn't believe it. So now when you need help, you don't believe in tithes and offerings, but we got to help you with the people who believe in it.'
'I don't ever thought of it like that. That's exactly how it is. So again, again, the problem, man, is that most people, the Bible says, don't judge anything before the time. Don't judge by the appearance. It says judge righteously. Most people don't do that, especially Christians. So, I'm not even interested in other podcasters who say, "Oh, yeah, the mega churches need to be judged." Which ones? You know what I got? I had a guy. Never mind.' 'So, yeah.' 'Don't never mind. You're going to talk.' 'No, I'll tell you. So, so, so you know, we're a full gospel church. Yeah. So, we have a class where we teach people what the word says about praying in other tongues.' 'Mhm.' 'Okay. And we go over scriptures, we lead them into prayer, and they receive the gift. So, this guy went off on me about the class. You're not supposed to have a class. You out of order with the class. Y'all so out of order with the class. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. And so I finally asked him. I said, "Let me ask you a question. Since I'm so out of order with this tongue class, could you let me know what we're teaching that's wrong?" He was silent cuz he realized he had no idea what we were teaching in the class. He just didn't like the title. See, he was judging and assuming that we were doing it wrong. That's the society that we live in. And Christians have gotten caught up in being just like the sinners, just worse. because you claim to have the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit does not judge like that. Again, keep your mouth off of anybody unless you actually know what they are doing. Shut your double breasted lips as an Esther would say on Sanford and Son unless you actually went into that church and looked at their numbers and their books. I did that last year. I showed the congregation this is exactly where 100% of the money is going. I showed them that a lot of churches do that. But guess what? The people judging us don't even go to church. We ain't even moved to the sinners. We talking about Christians. How would you know? So, but whatever. Listen. Listen. See, this is this is only the first thing that'
'Oh, and the words of Captain America. I can do this all day. Listen, listen, listen, listen. All right. The toes are already being stepped on already. I don't even know which way to go, but let's let's let's go here. I can go where you want to go. We have your people in the building. Your wife is in the building. I've been married for 17 years.' 'Oh, really? Cool.' 'Will it be 18 years? I 17 18 years. How long have you been married?' '30 years.' '30 years. Next in June.' 'This June be 30 years.' 'Congratulations. Y'all look good, too.' 'Thank you, man. I appreciate it. We trying to keep it together.' 'I love you. When I first heard you, I want want to admit that I heard you talking about marriage. I heard you talking about relationships. That was my first exposure to you.' 'I saw a couple things that I know if I were to repeat here, some people would be like, "What?" You said something about it is in direction to women. It was in regards to uh wives. Treat your husband like you do your manager.' 'Yeah.' 'Or like you do your boss. I don't know which which one it was. Can you please help me before I get stoned?' 'What does that mean?' 'This brother is using me to get in trouble. That's all right. This is exactly what it means.' 'Yeah.' 'So, so one of the things that I begin to see. Now, of course, for this moment, we're talking about women.' 'Okay.' 'There is another side where we have to address men.' 'We can do that at another time. Okay. But, but yeah, but there's a side with with women. Oh, Lord.' 'Yes.' 'I can't believe I'm getting ready to say this. where even as a Christian woman they listen to Satan more than they do their husbands the same way Eve listened to Satan more than she listened to her husband her husband told her don't touch that tree why are you even entertaining the tree so it's very very simple you run into people everybody just has excuses all the time about doing the right thing a woman years ago in Detroit her husband was cheating order with another woman they both Christians and one of the issues was that she would not do anything he asked her to do. One of them was how she dressed, her hairstyle, boom, boom, boom.' 'And I remember she said, "These are my clothes. This is my body. This is my hair. This is my face. This is my makeup." I let her go on and on. And I asked her this question. I said, "Let me ask you a question." I said, "You love your husband?" She said, "Yes." I said, "You want him looking at other women?" She said, "No." I said, "So, let me get this right. You don't want your husband looking at other women, women, and you love him. He should only be looking at you. She said, "Yeah." So, if he only supposed to be looking at you, don't you think he should like what he's looking at? She was like, "Oh." I said, "Oh, yeah. Take the clinics. You messed up. You messed up. That is beyond crazy. You don't want me to look at another woman. You say you love me. I'm only supposed to look at you, but at the same time, you don't want to look the way that I want you to look. Then why in the world did you marry me? unless you were just using me. So, I've had to counsel women and say, "Okay, I have to It's almost like there's a blindness on women today." And when I say women, we're not talking about every woman. There are some absolutely good women. I mean, they serve their husbands. I mean, every They are wonderful wives. We're not talking about that. We're talking about the other ones in the other category that make more excuses than a man in jail.' 'It's simple. It's so funny is that, watch this. Your manager told you to be at work at 7:00 a.m. Yes. Oo, that's a little early. But you still did what was necessary to be there on time at 7:00 a.m. Your husband says, "Hey, we need to head out. I'll just use church. We need to head out the door. We need to be leaving for church at 9:30. We need to be leaving out the door for this." Why are you always late? And then you get mad at him when he says, "Why you always late?" So, how is it that you can do it for a manager, but you can't do it for your husband? Or watch this. You start a new dress code. Okay, you start a new job. Ma'am, on this job, we're going to pay you $20 an hour, but unfortunately, you cannot wear jeans, you cannot wear gym shoes, you have to wear slacks, and you have to wear a dress. So, guess what you do? Even if it's not in your wardrobe, you take your personal money and go shopping in order to obey what your manager asked you to do. But when your husband told you, "Hey, I'd like you to wear this." Oh, no. I'm not wearing that because this is my body. I'm not going to dress for my husband. That's stupid. So you why is it that you're doing it for a manager but you're not doing it for your husband? It doesn't make any sense. So I've gotten a lot of slack because of that. But the truth be told is there are a lot of women watch this. You're never going to tell me that you're going to work for a manager and that manager does not tell you something that you don't like. When that manager tells you something you don't like, are you interrupting him? Are you clapping your hands at him and doing all that type of stuff? No. But you come right home and do that with your husband. So unfortunately there are a lot of women they give to the manager what they should be giving to the husband.'
'Well let let let's you're a p man of God who's married who is a pastor and I've seen this dynamic happen in a church. What's your how do you deal with the balance there? Now a manager is one thing but what about when the pastor is has a greater voice of authority in the house than husband.'
'Only time a pastor should have a greater authority or voice in the household is if somebody is sinning. I tell people all the time first of all you should never compare your husband to your pastor because you don't know he's he might be a good pastor doesn't mean he a good husband. Your husband might be a better husband than a pastor. He can teach but can he live? So, first thing, second thing is the Bible says never to compare yourself to anybody. As they say, quit worrying about your neighbor's grass. Water your own grass and it'll be just as green. So, I don't play though. I don't I have never done that as a pastor. What I do is is I tell the woman, "This is how you supposed to submit to your husband and husband, this is how you supposed to respect and honor your wife." So, I teach that from a point of view of this is what the Bible says. when it comes down to my opinion about what y'all should be doing. Okay? Like for example, my wife and I, we have the same bank account. Okay? Well, we have the same bank account. I don't force another married couple to say, "You're out of order if you don't have the same bank account because you're not unified." No. Unity is what y'all agree upon. Oh, we agreed to have the same bank account. We know married couples at our church, they have wonderful marriages, but they have separate bank accounts because that's what they agreed on. Therefore, they are in unity. You never force your and then this is the other thing is that every marriage has certain tolerances and different things like that. So there are certain things that my wife and they my my wife and I may like and another couple may not like.' 'You know like when you get over into sexual intimacy.' 'Well maybe my wife and I don't have a certain boundary in area but another couple does.' 'Yes.' 'What you do is you tell people what the word says and you let them then go about what it is they have to do. and a pastor, you're supposed to teach people the word. You're not supposed to be teaching them how they supposed to live their life when it comes to their opinions and their styles. I had a friend of mine, he had a Ferrari and um and uh when he got the Ferrari, he pulled up to the church and one of the assistant ministers told him that that he needed to get rid of the Ferrari because the pastor didn't have a Ferrari. And my friend is very bold. He said, "Until the pastor pay my bills, I'm going to drive whatever I want to drive." So that's just a mentality that people have. I don't know where it came from. I guess a couple other guys that come up with stuff, but again, it's no issue with me. It's never been an issue. I just simply tell people, you know what I teach people? There are five needs between a man and a woman. 10 actually.' 'The top five needs for a man is he has a need for an attractive spouse. What's attractive to him? He has a need for sexual fulfillment. He has a need to be respected and honored. He has a need for recreational companionship. Okay. Let me watch the game or watch the game with me. Yes. And the fifth one is he has a need for usually domestic support. There's some men they kind of want their wives to take care of the home.' 'Yes.' 'Woman, she has five needs. She has a need to be for a husband to be honest and open with her at all times. She has a need to communicate. She has a need for affection. She has a need for I can't remember what it's called, but if you are a good father, it meets a need in your wife.' 'Yeah.' 'And the fifth one is she needs security. So guess what I do? What I do is I teach them what the word says about how a man is supposed to carry himself, how a woman is supposed to carry himself. And so those are the that's the love part. Now here's the like part. The like part is what you need in order to'
Be happy. What destroys a lot of marriages is not the lack of love. It's the lack of likes. Wait, what? What destroys most marriages? You know that there are couples that they don't like each other, but they stay together and they still love each other, but they can't stand each other. >> Yep.
What destroys most marriages is you won't stop doing what I don't like. For example, I love my wife, but I don't like the way she dresses. I love my wife, but she will not work out and get in shape for me. I love my wife, but I can't stand the raggedy way in which she talks to me. So, a lot of times it's the likes that are destroying the marriage, but you stay there because you actually love the individual. Think about it. A lot of our parents, they stayed together for integrity and love's sake. You can love somebody and not like them. And you can like somebody and not love them. So that's what I teach. I teach this is what the Bible says. This is what the Bible says about love in a marriage. This is the reason why he created it. Here are the likes of a man. Here are the likes of a woman. It's not rocket science. Find out from your man what he likes and do that. Find out from your wife what she likes and do that. Well, my life, so for example, my wife, she likes roses. She doesn't like tulips. If I bring tulips in the house, they going upside my head. So, if I know my wife likes roses, why would I bring her tulips?
It's Watch this. I I actually shared this last night at the service. Your husband asks you for one and two. Men are simple. Here you giving him 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. And then you and then when he complains, you complain because I'm doing all of this. Wonderful. But that's not what he asked you to do. I think it sounds oppressive from one side uh just the one one part of the conversation cuz you're doing both. But just to hear someone say if your man likes this then do this. But on the other side if if if your woman likes this then do this. That's not triggering. >> But to hear if your man likes this then do this. It's like well I got a scripture for you. The Bible says serve one another in love. You serve the people on your job and you don't love them. Oh my gosh. It's it the I always said this, man. Ezekiel, I've always said this. If two masters get married, it's going to be some serious problems. If two slaves get married, it'll be wonderful because they're trying to outserve each other. Why do you think the Bible says when you get married, your body no longer belongs to you? Why would it say that? But see, people don't serve each other today. They use each other today. >> Oh my goodness. A lot of people are getting married because they're using the individual because they're lonely. They're using the individual because they can't pay their bills by themselves. They're using the individual for who knows a host of many different reasons. But nobody is serving one another. The marriages that make it other ones. What? Let me say what? Skip the sinners. They supposed to be stupid. Christians are the ones. What? Why are you talking about love? Love. You actually read the definition of love? Why you not doing that for the one you said you love? Most people don't even treat their spouses the way the Bible says you're supposed to treat your enemy. Wait, if you go back and read what the Bible says about treating your enemy in love, most people don't even treat their spouse. How are you supposed to treat your enemy? And making excuses after excuses after excuses after excuses after excuses after excuses. You know what? You ever seen a man with a old car from the 60s or the 70s and it looked better than yours? Thing was crisp. It was clean. I mean, it looked like it just came off of the dealership line. You know why? Cuz you know why it looks so good? Cuz of how you took care of it. So the reason why marriages fail is because you don't take care of one another with tender loving care. And so and so guess what? So the reason why divorces happen so much is is is that we are living in a world where you can trade in everything. Eventually you're going to get some new clothes. Eventually you going to trade in your car cuz you don't like it anymore. Eventually you're going to get another house because it got old. You understand what I'm saying? You going we trade in everything. So guess what? We you not you're not supposed to trade in your husband. You're not supposed to trade in your wife. So if that's the case, then you got to take tender, loving care to make sure that you meeting their needs. >> Let me let me throw a wrench in it. Just >> Oh yeah, hit me. Yeah, hit me. Just because the people are going through a lot of stuff and you know, I found myself as an involuntary counselor in a lot of sessions because of this. Some people feel like I'm I've done it all and I'm doing it >> and they're not reciprocating. Yeah, >> I'm loving, I'm giving, and it feels like they're walking all over me. And so to a certain extent, and then you just you just mentioned infidelity. I want to bring that that up as well. >> It gets to a point where sometimes as you're preaching, it almost feels like that will be dismissive of the very people that are going through hell thinking that they're giving everything that they got and the person that they have alongside with them is not doing anything. And then I want to throw in the the next wrench of then what happens if they commit the ultimate betrayal? Got what what do we do? Go ahead. >> Well, I mean there's always forgiveness with betrayal. I mean I have married couples in our church that that happened and they have a much more wonderful marriage now. But here's the issue. What I have found the Bible says that every person talks about themsel as well until they're cross-examined. In other words, I've had many of women and men tell me, "I'm doing such such I'm doing 1 2 3 4 5 and nothing is working." And then when I find out and interviewed the other spouse, I found out that they weren't doing 1 2 3 4 5. People are doing what they want to do and expecting the spouse to change. Now, there are there are real situations where you're married to a knucklehead. >> Okay? You guess what? The scripture tells you what to do in that. It just said that. Why do you think the Bible says that a man can be won by the character of a wife? Why would it say that? Because these women going to tear my I'm going to have to have a bodyguard when I leave here. You know what the Bible says about women? It says a woman that has a meek and quiet spirit is of great value to God. A meek and quiet spirit. Women see that as a form of lowlevel nowadays. They see it as a form of weakness. >> Absolutely. >> And so as a result of that, they got to do the clapback. They got to get up in your face. They got to cuss you out. They got to do all of those different type of things. But a lot of if you from the women's side for those that are in that category, they believe they're doing everything right. But in most cases, when I bring the husband in, they weren't. They were doing what they wanted, not what he asked. Then you have another category where you have women, they are excellent, but they're married to a knucklehead because the Lord told them not to marry a knucklehead in the first place. Then you have other women who they married a knucklehead, they got saved, he's still not saved. The list goes on and on and on. But your best chance is to only do what the scripture says. And that is you're going to you you your best chance cuz I have seen many marriages turn around because of the wife and how she carried herself. He don't believe in going to church. When she came when she came back home from church, she came back home as the best woman ever. Come back home from church, gave her husband some love and he like, "Why she keep going to church and then coming back and giving me some loving?" Next thing they know, he up in the church. But guess what? I also know men that were married to dingbats. I know a guy. I know a couple of guys that their wives were cheating on them and doing it on purpose up in their face and he still refused to cheat on her. He said, "I will maintain my integrity." Because the Bible tells you what to do in those situations. The problem, Ezekiel, is nobody wants to do the word because they believe that they're losing out. >> Losing out on what? >> Lord, this man is treating me wrong. So in order for me to make me feel like I'm not losing, I need to treat him wrong. I need to protect myself. >> There it is. >> I can't pray for him. I can't steal. You ever heard of Smith Wigglesworth? >> Yes. >> You know the story about him and his wife? >> No. >> Hey, he was not a he was not a believer. His wife was he couldn't stand her going to church, but she went anyway. So one night she went to a Bible study and what he did, he was a very mean man, but she kept loving him. Now watch this. The modern day women, they don't know nothing about this. They're too prideful to do this. Um, so since she went to church, he locked the door when she left. So she couldn't get back in the house. So when she got back home from church, she had to spend the night on the porch. She spent the night sleeping on the porch. The next morning, he got up and unlocked the door. She got up and said, "Good morning, sweetie. What would you like for breakfast?" And then you wonder why the man got saved later on and became one of the greatest men of God that we ever know to this day, who actually raised a minimum of eight people from the dead. See, but guess what we like to say? Love covers a multitude of sins. Yeah, you preach it, but you don't live it. Love conquers all. Yeah, you preach it, but you don't live it. So, and granted, I understand it's hard. It can be very difficult, but God always give an answer when you're in a situation. It's just that some people don't like to practice that answer. So again, of course, when it comes to marriage, each individual situation has its own individual blueprint, but it's it's a myriad of different situations. Why? But most of the thing is is that is that most people they they claim that they are a good spouse when in many of times when you talk to the other spouse, they're like, "No, they're not. They don't do nothing. They don't nothing to ask." It was this lady up at church. I remember this years ago. This was hilarious. She was claiming how bad her husband was and this and all of that type of stuff. And she walked around all deep and spiritual like she was floating on midair and everything talking all spiritual in the clouds and all that type of stuff. So I knew she was crazy, you know. Boom boom. And then one day the husband came up at the church right in the midst of everybody and said, "Yeah, my wife up here being all deep and spiritual, but she ain't gave me no sex in three years." I just walked away and started laughing. I said, "Well, there it is." >> I got too many stories, man. But yes, again, it's not easy, but your best hope is not doing it wrong, it's doing it right. The scripture is a blueprint on how to make things right. But sometimes in order to make things right, you have to be patient and do the right thing when the other person is not. >> That is one of the hardest things and the hardest pieces of advice. I just had to give it earlier today, but what you said was really important. You said you said something about uh because they feel like they're losing out. They feel like if they're doing wrong, I have to get justice. I have to protect myself. But that mindset and that that fear-based mindset that says I have to protect myself is so anti- good. It's from the beginning. The reason why when um Adam and Eve, they they ate that fruit immediately they went and they went to go hide from God and they sewed together these fig fig leaves. And I always ask others when when uh when when I go across that passage, I said, "Where did Satan say, you're naked and you should be unashamed or you should be ashamed?" >> I said, >> "What happens with disobedience is disobedience births new lies perpetually." And so >> all these understandings and things you begin to think after, okay, yeah, your spouse did that or your spouse is that right now. >> Now, why did that convince you that God is no longer father? that God is not good to you >> because >> God can't be good to you and you think you got to protect yourself. He can't be a good father and you think that if you serve him and do what he says that he won't look out for you which is why we have Matthew 6:33. So seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you is to say hey >> you have a father that is good to you. Mhm. >> You don't have to act like the Gentiles, which is spiritually uh I I guess spiritually bastardom or spiritually fatherless. >> They have to worry about what they going to eat. >> They got to worry about what they going to wear. >> You don't got to worry about how to protect your heart. >> Yeah. >> If you belong to him. And so these lies that we begin to live in and live by, it causes us not to be able to be able to deal with these conditions of life properly. But but here and here's the other problem is that you can't do the word if you don't read it and practice it. >> Oh man, I want to hear kind of where is the position for, you know, the challenge for the men because I know when women hear you share kind of like walking in submission and what it looks like to to withhold and to love when it's hard for men. What does it look like to lead when she's not submitting? To stand and be a spiritual pillar and a light when it seems like she's irresponsive to that call. Like, how do you get her on that same page? And how do you love like Christ without being a dictator? How do you how do you embrace lead her and lead your children without turning into a dictator in the home? >> Got you. You have to you have to let it be known that you're the leader, but she's still equal. The problem is is that the terms have been redefined. For example, I'm not getting off the topic. I have an assistant pastor. When people hear pastor and assistant pastor, this is what they see. >> Mhm. >> But in the kingdom of God, this is pastor and assistant pastor. This is his role. >> His role is just as important as I am. I'm the leader, but he's the assistant. Guess what? If he's a better assistant than I am in a p as a pastor, he's going to get a better reward. So, the other thing is that women need to understand. So, he needs to make that clear that she's my equal. Second thing is is that most women that are submitted to a man that's a good man. If she follows him, he lets her make a lot of decisions. My wife makes more decisions in my household than I do. The other thing is this is the reason why God asked the woman to submit is because when you stand before God, he has the answer, not you. What did you just say? You ever heard You ever heard a manager tell his employees, "Hey, if y'all mess up, I'm the one that's responsible for it." See, so they don't understand that the Bible makes it clear that the man is the one who has to stand before God in regards to how he led his wife and his children. He's the one that's held accountable for how he led them. So since he's the one that has to be held accountable, God will allow him to make the final decisions in all things. That's the only reason why she submits. God has all God has to allow him to make the final decision because when it come to being judged for the family, he's the one that's judged, not you. And this the deep part. He's going to be judged for leading. You going to be judged for submitting. Cuz regardless of what the culture says or not, you're not going to get out of what God told you to do. >> Oh. So again, but guess what? In most cases, if you have a good man that is following God the way he said, the woman is going to submit. But you do got a few female idiots out there that that they just not going to do because they're rebellious women and they listen to other women. This this this culture out here right now, all of these sinners trying to have these relationship shows and podcasts. None of you fools know what y'all talking about. >> Relationships. You have good relationships based on following the one who designed the relationship in the first place. >> Okay? But if you have that's what the Bible says that um the women can even call their husbands Lord if you're not afraid to do it because that's what Abraham's wife did. >> But so that doesn't make you less than because you have to follow. That doesn't make you less than because you have to submit. It just means that he is allowed to make the final decision because God holds him responsible. I mean watch this. If somebody falls down in front of McDonald's, are they gonna take the employee to court? No. Are they taking the CEO? Yo, order the M. You know what I'm saying? So the CEO, the top individual, the leader is the one who's held responsible for everything. God holds me responsible for my family. Now, keep in mind when you're married to a good man, of course, this is one of those things where you have to have individual counseling because every situation is different, but the system is designed. When you have a good When you have a good man and you have a good woman, many of times the woman will make more decisions in the relationship than the man will. >> Yeah. >> He's just allowed to disagree with you because he has the answer for it. >> Wow. >> That's good. >> You know what's beat? The woman submitting to the man is actually under the curse. What did he tell Eve? >> Take it back. >> What did he tell Eve? He said, "From now on, your desire will be to your husband and he'll rule over you." Which means in the beginning it wasn't even that way. So in Christ it doesn't really have to be that way. Y'all can't be equal. >> Most of the decisions in my household, my wife, I just say, "What you think? Do whatever you want to do." Boom. Boom. Every once in a while I say, "No, we not doing that." Yeah. >> And she submits to it. Why? Because, well, he's a good man and I just have to Yeah. You do that with your manager. >> Well, well, well. >> Hey, I think this would be a good idea. And he says, "Hope that we're not going to do that right now." and you go right by your desert. It's and keep on working. So, but you know, marriage counseling has to be an individual because you have lots of dynamics um in that regards. But the biggest thing that men are not doing is protecting women. >> What do you mean by that? >> We get a divorce. Who takes the kids and who struggles? So, and men are just not protecting women. I counled a guy one time. He had a nice car and a old car. He got her driving the old car with the kids. >> Well, the a man would argue and say the court system is against men and they favor women in the court system. So, nobody actually men get the shorter end of the stick. That's why men are not getting married because in divorce women can take half. Women are favored by courts. What judges believe women men get put on child support. Nobody considers the man in a situation. >> There's a huge measure of that. Unfortunately, that is true. That really is true. And part of it is because of how many men have tried to sherk the responsibility. But because of that, the courts tend to automatically favor the woman, which is not right because some men have been in bad situations, you know, because of that. But ultimately, just, you know, see the problem is thing. People don't want to give up their life to do what is right. That's really what it's about. Everybody is trying to get the most of this life. The Bible says, so if you're not in Christ, you don't even count. Bible says in Christ, it says you no longer have a life. Says your real life is hidden in Christ. That's why so many Christians are afraid to die cuz they know nothing about the afterlife. So they're trying to get everything out of this one. But that is true about the courts is that they do favor women. That is an absolute fact. And sometimes it can be bad for men. But so what men have to do is start making a wise choice. And in the beginning, that's the thing. You know what? It's very very You know what? Let me tell you something. You sleep with a girl one time, you put on a pair of sunglasses. You do it a second time, you put on a pair of sunglasses. You do it a third time, you put on a pair of glasses. Now you're so blind, you willing to tolerate her raggedy foolishness because the sex is so good. When the truth be told, it's impossible for a man to not have sex with a girl when he's not married with her and not come to a quick conclusion that she's his wife. It's designed that way. See, we're doing everything wrong and then we wonder why everything is turning out wrong. cuz everybody's just doing it wrong. Now the church is making excuses. Pastors telling them, "Oh, it's okay for you to test it out." Pastors telling they me and you, "It's okay for the to test them out." No, it's not. This is not a car. H this is a being. But see, people don't even know the sex is spiritual. They don't they don't even know what locks and unlocks when you have sex with somebody. They don't even That's a whole another thing. So, the thing is, let me tell you something. You see this in the beginning and that is the man told his wife what to do and when she struggled with it, he didn't reinforce it. Adam never told Eve to not touch the tree. I'm sorry. God never told Adam, "Don't touch the tree." He said, "Don't eat it. >> Don't eat it." >> Well, he pulled his wife aside. Now, look, God told us, "Don't touch this tree. Don't be looking at it. >> Don't be touching it. >> Don't be massaging it. Don't be dreaming about it. Leave it alone. She told Satan, boom. You know what's deep? Satan got Adam and Eve by telling them the truth. >> You looking at me like, you got to explain that. He said, "Oh, that's not really what God means." He said, "He knows the day that you eat of it, you'll be like him to know the difference between good and evil." When they ate the tree, what did God say? He said, "Look, they have become like th us to know the difference between good and evil." He told them the truth. He didn't tell them the ramifications of that truth. Once again, if he can't get you with sin, he get you with good. So ultimately, you cannot be a good man unless you are willing to give up your life for someone else in order to gain another life on the other side. It's as simple as that. What did Here's the standard for men. What did Jesus said? He said, "I ain't come to be served." He said, "I came to serve and give up my life as a ransom for many." It's as simple as that. And for most men, if you do that, if you serve your wife, see, it's not just the woman submitting to the man. The man, the Bible says, you know that scripture that says for woman to submit to the husband. Yeah. Before that, it says for men to submit to the wives. It says submit one to another. Which means there are times you submit to your wife and there are times your wife submits to you. Is equal. The difference is when there is a difference of opinion, he's allowed to make the final decision because he has the answer before God. That's not even been taught. >> Because he has to answer before God. >> He has answer before God. So since he's the one that has the answer, God has allow him to make the final decision because he's the one that has the answer. But during the marriage, I submit one to another. My wife submits to me and I submit to her all the time. Matter of fact, I would dare say I submit to her more a whole lot more than she submit to me cuz she always coming up with some stuff. And then I'm like, okay. I think one of the issues like you just brought up and I I know I I take it so much of your time was just simply this idea that when we fantasize about marriage, when we think about this idea of marriage, like you said, >> it's me trying to resolve something in me. It's just this I'm naked and I'm ashamed and you're going to be my fig leaf. >> I need you to be this, do this, take care of this. I mean, even sex gets weaponized to the to the point of view you were using sex before marriage to be something. >> Yeah. >> You wanted somebody to call your name in ways that your father should have called your name. You wanted to you you're trying to extract something from me. Now, it's not about serving. It's not about how to bless you. It's not about how to help you. It's not about how to give to you. It's what can you do for me? And I think what we're trying to do is we're trying to force feed our traumabased desires and trying to ask God to assist us with traumadriven desires. Why is my wife not being a good wife? Interpretation. Why is my wife not filling the void that was created from the trauma that happened in my past? Why is my wife not doing everything I told her to do? Why does my wife not respect me? or translation, why does my wife not make me feel like my parents were supposed to help and build me up to be? >> Yeah. >> As a young man. And so now we're dealing with conflicts that were not necessarily realistic conflicts, but it's from the delusion of the things that have happened. We've been beat down by our conditions of life. We uh self-esteem. And then we bring that into marriage. And now I have to find fault with the person that maybe even God ordained that I should be with. But I got to make you an enemy. Cuz now I'm using the lenses of this trauma. And you need I you got to fix me. And if you can't fix me, you're the problem. That's one of the biggest things. And for men, this is the most important thing. Jesus made a statement about himself. He said, "The son can only do what he sees the father do." That's what Jesus said. He said, 'I only do what the father shows me. So if you ever if you didn't have a father there to show you anything, then you going to do anything cuz you didn't have anybody to show you. So this doesn't So now this is not a race issue. This is a fatherless issue. It applies the same to a white man and a black man and an Arab man. So what you have to do is you have to teach the man what my wife did. My wife had to go to the scripture to find out how to be a good wife and mother. Because the Bible tells you what to do. Tells you what fathers says little things. Good fathers leave an inheritance for the children. It tells you what mothers and fathers are supposed to do. It tells you how to carry yourself. It's just that nobody wants to go to the book and look at the original blueprint. And so in order for me to teach you how to good father, you can't use the excuses you didn't have one. It's never too late to learn. Just simply practice what he said in scripture. Husbands, love your wives like Christ loved the church. I don't need a father to learn that. I just need to You see what I'm saying? So, but in this day and age, nobody wants to do that. Everything is just It's just crazy. It really is. But that's I mean, for for men, it's simple. And the Bible shows you the weakness of the sexes. It shows it to you. >> Yes. Men, love your wi love your wives as Christ loves the church. And that's he died for the church. Wonderful. All that deep. Okay. The main way that Christ loved the church is through his words. That's why women are emotional. They love to hear what a man says. So even when you don't like her, even when you disagree with her, be careful how you use your words with your wife because Christ loves the church mainly through his word. What does the Bible say about men? It says, "Let him always be ravished with his wife's sexual love." It says, "Let the man enjoy his wife's body parts at all times." Why? Why does it say that? Doesn't say that about women. Nowhere in the Bible does it says for a woman to enjoy her man's body. Why? Because men are physical like that. Not women. Women are women are emotional. Men can be too hard on the kids. That's why the Bible never says it about a woman. It says it about a man. Be careful that you don't turn your children over to wrath because men can be too hard on their kids. All of this stuff is in the Bible. It's showing you the emotional makeup. It's showing you the weakness of the sexes and it's showing you what we have to be careful of. But you know what? You can't do that when every church service is ah we're going higher. Ah, all said she's going to take you higher. Ain't nobody going nowhere. Jesus, listen. Okay. I'm going to be in trouble if I don't invite you back. You're doing the same. >> You're going to be in trouble whether you invite me in trouble no matter what. I'm I'm I'm w I'm welcoming the stones at least. I >> And you know what? My back. >> Hold. Let me add this one thing based on what I just said. You know, I got a lot of quotes from my spiritual dad. He said something that is so powerful. He said, "Everybody wants prayer. Nobody wants to learn. Wait. I need you to pray for my marriage. I need you to pray for my marriage." Okay. How about we learn how to be successful in marriage? I You know how I get rid of most people? I tell them to read a book and then call me back. That's how I get rid of 99% of people cuz I'm not going to counsel you for two hours cuz if you won't read the book that it means you weren't going to listen to what I said either. So that's that's the quickest way I get rid of people. How you handle this? Easy. Tell the people to read the book and then call me back. 99% of the people that get rid of them. But that's that's the dilemma we're in now. Christians want prayer. Nobody wants to learn. That's it. If you just said that, that right there, my people are destroyed because of what they don't know. He didn't say to you destroyed because how many times you went to church a week. He said you're destroyed because you're ignorant. We supposed to be the most intelligent people in the planet. How is it that you got the Holy Ghost, divine intelligence, who will tell you anything about everything? And we don't. You and I used to be sinners. Come on. The Bible says it is the goodness of God that causes us to repent. It wasn't God beating us up. Preachers were beating it up, but God wasn't beating us up when we were living in sin. He was still treating us well. Because that's the best chance to get somebody to change. Get someone to change is to treat them well while they're doing wrong. They will eventually get convicted because they're like, I'm raggedy and this person is just treating me like I'm not. And it's actually it's your actions are a form of call those things that be not as though they were. You acting raggedy, but I'm going to treat you like you're not. So, as a result of that, it'll pull you out of that. So, that's the only reason why me and your >> taxes are prophetically speaking. Bingo. >> Oh my god. >> That's why the goodness of God is what caused you and I to repent, not him beating us up. So, because that's the method that God created. He knows that's the best chance you have of getting the same result that he did. >> That makes me want to break down cuz that's the only reason why we're here. His mercy says, >> boom, >> I will not destroy you. As if I didn't deserve to be destroyed. God is loving me and keeping me as if I'm righteous. He's covering me. >> Willie, and it's a faith move on his part. One of the best definitions I've heard, you know, grace is being perverted today. But one of the best definitions of grace that I heard and favor is God knows the day that you're going to get saved. So while you're not, he treats you as though you are until you get saved cuz he knows the date. So guess what he tells us to practice the same thing. I've told many a woman for years, quit talking to your husband based on how he acts. Talk to him based on how you want him to act. Quit saying you owe he this one girl, she would go home after every church service and when she would walk through the door, she would just uh throw anointing oil on her husband and then you wonder why he don't want to come to church. You should have you should have been throwing yourself on your husband. You're being spiritual. Throw anointing on on him. See? No. So instead of saying, "Hey, you know, don't don't just celebrate the fact that he's still there with you." And then when he runs into issues, just tell him. But just go pray about it. God will speak to you. You know, he living for the devil. Go pray about it. See, the Bible says that if one is saved and the other one is not, it says the whole household is sanctified because of the one that is. See, here's the problem. Ezekiel, this means leads to my next point. The problem is is that the church right now by and large is extremely shallow. She not even in the pool. She just got her tippy toes in the pool. Yet the Bible says the Holy Spirit wants to takes us into the deep things of God. But right now, the church is very, very shallow. And because she is so shallow, she does not understand the deeper things that exist that give you results. Cuz we just having church services. So, how are we doing? >> We got to talk. We got to talk about church. >> We got to talk about church. I got some other points, but I want to go since you you came here. I want to I want to >> brought several baseball bats, brother. >> I I want to know, we talked a little bit about this about the things that God has impressed on your heart. >> Mhm. >> But also, I want to start here like what what do we You talked about the church is shallow. >> Mhm. >> The state of the church. What are we doing wrong? What are we missing? It feels like people are only able to make a laughing stock because these cases that you say are a few cases are cases that seem to be perpetually displayed. This is what we're we're beginning to see and it seems like it's like even if when it comes to recommending churches, I know I have a hard time just recommending churches. I'm grateful that you're here in Georgia, but it's not easy to just say, "Hey, with the amount of churches that exist, with the amount of ministries that exist, how many of us are living or walking it out, are teaching truth?" It's not it's not everywhere. So, I want to talk about the church, uh the how we relate to the word, prayer, all of this stuff. Where's the church, and what do what are we doing wrong? >> Yeah. Well, Holy Spirit told me that where we are at this point with Jesus second coming is where they were at the point with his first. When Jesus first came on the scene, no religious leader was qualified to be his disciple. That's how much they had messed it up. Not one. Think about it. The scripture never ever shows one case where Jesus fought against a sinner. He only fought against religious people who thought they had the truth, but they didn't. So, what did Jesus do? He started out with street guys, fresh guys off the street, people who didn't know religion, people who didn't know tradition, and he started out fresh with them and then had the nerve to say, "All right, watch me for a couple of weeks. Y'all got it? No, go out there and do it anyway." So, the main reason why, oh Lord, here I go. The main reason why there is so much order in other religions and so much chaos in Christianity is that we're the only organization that has to fight an invisible demonic army. Satan supports other religions cuz they're not true. So, he needs to make it full of order, full of beauty. No other denominations, no nothing. Because I need to make it seem like those are the ones legit because of the order and the beauty and everything else. But we will infest Christianity and fight against everybody and produce all of the this this different type of chaos. And so where we are right now is and things happen in cycles. You had situations in the past where the church got off. Then God came in and raised up people to correct it. You know, I think Martin Luther was one, you know, um the Isuza Street, that was another one. You see these corrections. Um you have other men of God that have restored certain things that got off track. Yes. >> Okay. And so, but now the Bible says at the end that everything will get convoluted. >> Um, and one of the main reasons why things are off now is is that because of social media, Satan is able to um right now overrun the body of Christ with deceivers. Before you had to be vetted if we were qualified for ministry. Do you even live right? We going to send you through certain things now. Okay. any fool can just get a microphone and a YouTube and then get on there and try to make it seem like he's an authority on thing and because people are so ignorant they believe him. So the church is in a very bad state. But what he's doing now is is that he's raising up voices that are so strong and so authoritative is swallowing all of that up. One of the biggest things that I have done is I went to the Lord and I learned this from my pastor overseas and and I said, 'Lord, it's the wisest prayer I could have ever done. I and I, this is what I said. I said, Lord, it seems like, let me say this, because the church is off doesn't mean you have a bunch of bad preachers. It means you have a lot of ignorant preachers. >> There are a lot of tree preachers that live holy and they live right and they are men of excellent character. They just don't know how to cook. Just because you're a nice person doesn't mean you know how to fix an engine. Just because you're a nice person doesn't mean you know how to do somebody's hair. So, so we have a lot of good preachers. They have character. They have integrity. And some of them are doing the best that they can. But they just don't know about the weightier side of the things of God. And some of them are too prideful to learn. I get about two to three pastors a week that reach out to me saying, "I need you to help me." They said, "I wasn't taught this type of stuff." And so I help them. And so, but I asked the Lord, I said, "Lord, it seems like everything is the same. All of the church services are the same. They have the same order of service. It's the same thing over whether they're big, whether they're small, it's the same order of service, the same thing." And so, what I did was I shut down everything except for the weekend services, everything. Cancelled the midweek service, cancelled everything. I said, "Lord, I'm not instituting one single thing until you tell me how to institute it." And so, that was my prayer. I said, "Lord, if you sent me on vacation for a year and you took over the church in physical form, what would it look like when I came back?" Guess what? We really say, "Oh, it's the Lord's. It's the Lord's." Okay, then what do you watch this? Every pastor I've asked this question. This is how he answered it. I said, "If the Lord sent you on vacation for 3 months and he pastored the church in physical form, what would he have changed when you came back?" Guess what? Every pastor said everything. Well, if you know that he would change everything, why are you not seeking him about one thing to change? So, there's a But again, we're fighting against an army. Here's the thing. A lot of preachers know how to teach. They just don't know how to deal with the dark side. That's the difference. I would say, one of the differences with me is that I know how to manhandle Satan. It's simple. Because I carry myself, there's just some things I don't have to say to Satan. I can just walk into a room and he leaves because he doesn't want to be bothered with it. And then guess what? Ah, okay. Wait a minute. Let me go back for a second. Okay. So, so I so, so I asked the Lord, "What would you change if you were pastoring the church?" First thing the Holy Spirit says, "Could you not pray with me for an hour?" Instructed me to do one hour of prayer before all of the services because the temple is called the house of prayer, not the house of programs. >> What? >> It's called the house of prayer, not the house of praise and worship. It's called the house of prayer, not the prayer of tithes and offering. House of tithes and offerings. It's called the house of prayer, not the house of conferences. Most conferences are just another Sunday morning service where y'all just doing the same old thing that y'all did on Sunday. So that was the first thing. So there are other instructions. Every instruction that he has given me, no other church I know of does it that way. It's him rebuilding, rebuilding. So the one of the reasons why the Lord has given me the influence that he's given me is because he's letting me change everything. The Lord actually appeared to me in a dream and said that there was something that needed to be done in America and that I could do it. He didn't say I would. He said I could. Which means I got to really be on point and seek him about what you want me to do. So one of the reasons why, man, there are times on Facebook we grow at 600 people an hour. An hour. Why? I'm not that good. I'm not that charismatic of a speaker. You know, I barely can get through the English language, let alone be bilingual. You know what I'm saying? I can speak
In tongues very well. But that doesn't make any sense. The Lord is exposing us to the world so that he can help them correct what is off.
And so the church is in a bad place right now because she's just doing church services. She's too concerned about how she looks and not the impact. You go on my social media feed and it's not that colorful. You go I understand there's anything wrong with this, but you go in a lot of churches and their websites. I mean, it's beautiful. They got people dancing and the colors and the pictures, all that. You on my you don't mind it's just me and my wife preaching every single day. It doesn't even make any sense that I'm moving faster than others and it's because I'm trying to correct what's in the body of Christ because if we don't there are things that are coming that is going to pull everybody out of church.
If the presence of God is in the church it brings the worldly people in. If the presence of God is not in the church it brings the Christians out into the world. And right now you don't have the presence of God in the church. You have preaching and singing. I can go to a club for that.
Yeah. And that don't mean it's the presence of God. People don't even know how to create presence. So guess what? We have people online that talk about us every single week because we pray in tongues 1 hour before the service. But the people that walk in the building say that they can feel something. Had a girl years ago. She came with her parents. They walking in the parking lot and the girl stopped in her tracks. They said, "What's wrong?" She said, "Whatever is in me is afraid of whatever is in there." You had cast out demons. There's a lady, she was hooked on cigarettes. And she said, "I knew it was this demon." She said, "Because wherever I go, he travels with me. He even gets in the backseat of the car." She said, "The only time he leaves me is when I pull on the church parking lot." She says, "He gets out the car and hangs out way over in the back and hides unless he gets exposed. Then when church, she'll get back." So we finally got her free of that.
So the church right now doesn't know how to create the presence of God. They just know how to create church services. They just do. Watch this. I mean just all of the
Oh my stop. It's not how Jesus taught. You can only do that in the church. You can't take that in the corporate America. You can't take that into your educational school. You can't take that anywhere except for in the church. Stop. That's not how Jesus that's you. That ain't the Holy Ghost.
This is dude that's see and all of this stuff is embarrassing because in order the men who had weight didn't do that type of stuff. The men who had weight. Let me give you an example. You know who uh what's the man? He has a scratchy voice. Old pastor, white pastor. Um he taught the presence of the Lord is here. Morris Cerillo.
Yeah. Morrisilla. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Moerilla was going to a place in Kenya. The head witch in Kenya. This is what he said. There's a man of God coming to town.
They said, "You need to leave and be was it 14, 15 miles away from the city." He said, "You need to be 15 miles away." He said, "Because this man's presence all by himself will kill you or convert you." He said, "When the man leaves the city, you still got away. You still got to stay away for another 14 days because even though he's gone, his presence is still there." Church don't know nothing about that. That's raw power. You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you. But they think power is that ain't power. You see that at a football game, the man with the draws on and the Viking hat getting his beer all over you every time it's a touchdown. I'm not saying every person that does that is out of order. What I'm saying is those are antics of the spirit. That's not the spirit.
The Bible says about the Holy Spirit that he will lead you and guide you into all
truth.
That he will bring things to your remembrance and he will show you the future.
That's the role of the Holy Spirit. That's divine intelligence. You're supposed to walk into a room and you don't have a degree, but everybody with a degree is forced to listen to you because of the invisible person in you. I can't go into corporate America. I'm just I'm just letting you know what the problem is. See what
that is a specific
man. You about to get me in trouble and that's okay. Watch this. Watch this. Go through the Bible. And right now the church does everything opposite in the Bible.
What do we do? We hold hands and pray. Close our eyes. Jesus did do that. He lifted his hands and opened his eyes.
Whoa.
We lay hands on people. They fall down. Not one person did Jesus lay hands on fall down. We do everything the total opposite. So you have to get back to how did Jesus do it. If you want scriptural results, you have to do it the scriptural way. But you're doing it the cultural way.
The cultural way.
That's why I get results without even trying. Because I'm doing it the scriptural way.
The scriptural way, not the cultural way. Watch this. Do you go to Burger King in the drive-thru? Yes. I like to have a Whopper with cheese. Hold the onions. Ah, cut the whopper in half. Like, what is wrong with him? Why are you preaching that way? That's not how Jesus preached. See, so, so these are the type of things that men don't want to hear. These are the type of things that you have to correct because in order to get this generation, they grow up on AI. Ah, they don't grow up on this. Ah, they grow up on technology. Ah, that's what they grow up on. They ain't trying to hear all of that. Ah, that's for people that's 80 and 90 years of age who grew up in that era. These kids are growing up on AI and technology. And if you don't have a relationship with the Holy Ghost and know how to give them revelation that makes AI look like stone age technology, ain't nobody coming to your little raggedy church, dude.
Whoa. Whoa.
You just going to keep the current members until they die and then you going to retire and become a security guard at the bank knowing good well that when they rob it, you the first one going down. Oh lord. See, you done pulled me into the deep. Now I'm getting crazy. It's very simple. And very simple.
Oh my.
If you go to the gym and you say, "Sir,
I've been working out
and I haven't been able to get rid of this weight yet."
Come on.
They're going to sit down with you and they're going to say, "This is the reason why.
Yes,
you're working out, but your form is wrong. You're not doing enough reps. And you can't work out and then go home and eat pizza. So, if you want the result, what do you just simply do? You make the adjustment. Right now, the church doesn't want to make any adjustments because she's been doing it this way for 30, 40 years. Simple. So, guess what? God is bypassing the traditional getting new men off the street.
That's straight up.
That's straight up. So, podcasters, podcasters like you touching more people for Jesus than preachers are. And see, the other thing is then it comes down to how do you define a preacher? A preacher is not somebody with a pull pit. John the Baptist with a preacher. Which which church did he speak in? See, so we got all these things that we got to get rid of. And then here's the main thing. Here's here's what makes my church different. And that is there are two leadership styles. One is if I'm the pastor, my floor is Ezekiel's ceiling. So with that, I'm just standing on top of your shoulders to make a name for myself in ministry. I have a ministry. So you support my ministry. That is totally unscriptural. The the style that I use is if I'm the pastor, my ceiling is your floor. That's why I have people at my church that can run circles around me. Cuz where I end is where you start. That's why Joshua was greater than Moses. David did more than Saul. Elisha did more than Elijah. Jesus even told his disciples, "You'll be able to do greater works than me." That's where they jump off the train. Oh, I don't believe that. Well, last time I checked, I don't remember Jesus shadow healing nobody. like Peter's did in the book of Acts said that his shadow was getting people healed. That was greater than what Jesus did. But see, they don't understand again the deep things of God. The deep things of God, the deep the deep things of God are in the And in order to be deep, you got to be meek. You can't be deep in order to be deep. The Bible says the meek will he guide in judgment, not the deep. It's the meek. So the reason why I'm so deep is because I'm meek, not because I'm deep. it. Look, bro. I Let me tell you something. I told the Lord when I started the church 14 years ago, I said, "I don't want this mess that I see in some places on America on this ministry that you are calling me to create." So, as a result, I had to go. He sent me to a man by the name of Bishop David Odapo. I hope you don't mind me mentioning his name. This must be Well, you're Nigerian, so you know, of course, you know. And I went over there and that man made me feel like I wasn't even saved. I mean, just they make a they make the book of Acts look like Sunday school. My wife and I I went over I've been over there 19 times. My wife has been over there what 17 16 times. We never been over there and there was not at least two women who gave a testimony about having twins or triplets over the age of 60. Two without a wound. And the doc we were there and the doctor stood on two doctors stood on the stage with X-rays. We are here to confirm that this woman had a I don't know if it was twins or I can't remember. One baby, two baby, it doesn't matter. We are here to confirm that we watched a baby grow in this woman who does not have a womb because over there they believe when the scripture says all things are possible to them that believe. Over here all things are possible to them that believe. As soon as CO comes in, you put a rag on your head and go hide in the closet. I'm the crazy dude that stayed open during CO.
Let's go. Let's go. I didn't cancel a service and we didn't social distance and we didn't use masks. We put one thing of hand sanitizer out there and nobody used it. Would you like to know why I kept it open? Cuz when I asked the Lord, guess what he said? You do not have the right to close down my embassy in the state of war.
So So we're not we're not taking directives from the Lord. We're not hearing from the Lord. We don't have our ears to his heart. No, because it's our ministry. It's not his. That's the reason why every church that's called by God is an embassy in planet earth. There are a lot of embassy. Am I
We don't know what an embassy is. You got to explain to
So, so, so, so the United States has more embassies than all other countries put together. So, we have an embassy in, for example, Israel. It is a building where United States ambassadors meet in order to carry out the special interest of the king. I got to run. I gotta run.
Why do you think the Bible calls us ambassadors?
Come on, man.
So, every church called by God is an embassy building where the citizens of the kingdom of God meet to carry out the special interest of the kingdom of God. So, the problem is is that am I allowed to open up an embassy around the world without the United States government permission? No. They're not going to support me. So half the churches that you see are men who started the embassy without heaven's permission. That's why God doesn't back them and why they got to have three or four orphans and the church is still sitting on the kickstand. Yeah, I see. I'm going down today. So you mean to say, "Oh my goodness, my my programming, my sermons, everything that flows from the directive of let's say the embassy has to have flowed from
Thank you.
who established the end.
So guess what? Today's preachers, they're not getting directors from heaven. They're getting directors from AI programs and apps and other preachers. They they they they're not getting their directors from heaven. When I Let me tell you something. You want to know how I got that $5 million building? When I started the church, there was a man working in this big movie theater. And the Holy Ghost told him, "This is OA's sanctuary." It was a movie theater, so it had lot of small sanctuaries. Okay? So, he called me. I go over to the building. On the way there, the Holy Ghost says, "Start the church services on Saturday." I was like, "Anybody trying to go to church on no Saturday?" Wonderful. Started on Sunday and failed then because that is the directive from heaven. Are you going to take your director from heaven or are you going to take your director from culture where everybody does church on Sunday? So, I walk in the building and before I even said anything, the building manager said, "Sir, we don't we only have room in here. We don't have room on Sundays." I said, "What about Saturdays?" He said, "You want to do a church on Saturday?" Said, "Apparently." So, so I went in there, started a church on Saturdays. 6 months later, the Lord had me do a church on Sundays in Riverdale. Faithful to those two things. 12 years go by, right? And then the guy who owns the building decides he's going to retire. And the Holy Ghost tells him, "Now that you return, give the building to OA cuz he's the one that's supposed to take it over." Now, watch this. If I didn't obey that one directive to start the church on Saturdays, I would have had to go find another building. and I would not be in the building that God was going to give me. How does the storefront become the mega church at the same time? 1.5 million I mean $5 million building that they gave us. 43,000 ft. Two levels. 43,000 ft.
43,000 ft with parking for days. And now I'm maxed out. I'm probably going to have to go to a fourth service here soon. I do Saturday morning services, Sunday morning services, Wednesday night. So the so so that ultimately is the problem is that men have been taught to build ministries out of seminary schools, out of Bible schools, out of imitating their pastor. No one is taught to seek the Lord and say, "Lord, this is your embassy. How do I run it?" It's as simple as that. Does the manager run the Chick-fil-A on their own or do they get their information from the CEO? And today, men are not getting information from the CEO. They're just building how they go.
Basically, your story I I just talked about the fruit of disobedience. Your story is the fruit of obedience because my I did a podcast with my wife a couple weeks ago and she talked about the domino effect of obedience.
Yes.
And that one yes.
Mhm.
Like we don't realize how much God wants to do or what's on the other side of that one yes. There are a lot of other yeses connected to that yes. There are a lot of other deliverances and breakthroughs to that. Yes. But on the flip side of your no of all that disobedience or that dishonor, we have no idea how many people how much is being corroded by that. No. Which is why I think hell I think exists because we can't fathom
what our sin, our private sin.
Yeah.
The fruit of that what that yielded. We think no I did that. No. Something happened in you and what happened in you, you poured out into your children and that affected others and people died because of that dishonor. People lost their lives because of that dishonor.
But you can't even trace it.
You can't trace it. Correct.
You remember when you remember that scripture where Dave it says there was a famine in the land and the famine was so bad. David sought the Lord.
Yes.
And the Lord said the famine has come across the entire country because Saul killed a few innocent people. How can you trace that?
So there are a lot of things that are going on that you can't trace. And if you And so what happened? And here's the sad part. If you don't obey God with the first instruction, a second one never comes.
Hey,
so now you have built your entire ministry on who?
Instructionless.
And here's the sad part. Many many pastors are following the instructions of Satan and don't even know it. They don't know it because the instructions are good, not sinful. You would you like to hear my testimony right quick? This only going to take 30 20 seconds before I started line her church. The Bible says God speaks once and then twice. Got that? The Lord normally would speak to me in the shower about major instructions. I heard a voice in the shower. It says, "Start your ministry now and call it Next Level Church." So I ignored it. Came again. Your time has come. Start the ministry now. Call it Next Level Church. So got ready to move. Told my wife, hey, we supposed to start Next Level Church. Got it through the Secretary of State. Start moving forward. each day that I move forward, the more nasty I felt in my spirit. So, I went back to the Holy Spirit. I said, "If you told me to start this church, why do I feel so nasty?" He said, "Because it wasn't me." He said, "It was Satan mimicking my voice trying to get you off." He said, "Shut it down." I always tell people, always remember this. If Satan can't get you with evil, he'll get you with good. Yo, what? So, I shut it down. That's what he said. He says, "Shut it down." He's trying to mimic your voice. See, so Satan knew he couldn't get me with sin. So I what I got to get you with is an instruction that did not come from heaven.
No, that changes everything. No, no, no.
So guys, so what's messed up a lot of preachers is they're following good instructions and not God instructions.
Okay, this is this is done.
We Oh, hallelujah. I feel the Holy Ghost in this place this evening. You know how I got all of this wisdom? One question. Lord, I only want to do it right. And in order for me to do it right, I know I got to. You know what the Holy Spirit told me years ago? He said, "Throw everything that you have ever learned from other preachers in the trash. Start studying the Bible like you never read it before, and I'll show you things you never seen before." The thing is 66 books like everybody is preaching on the same thing. Same thing. Same thing. Same thing. And see, watch this. You ready for this? See, this is another thing that's since we on this topic. I know I'm going to help a lot of preachers with this. So, okay, watch this. You you can you can believe in salvation. You can believe in grace, forgiveness of sins, all of that. If you reject tongues, it darkens your revelation about what you are already reading. If you reject demonology, it darkens even more what you have accepted. If you reject the gifts of the spirit, if you reject dream interpretation, if you reject every part of the scripture that you reject, it darkens your revelation about what you accepted because they're not separated. They go all together. So I have revelation you want. So watch this. We talk about all the authority that is in Christ and all of that type of stuff. Mhm. Wonderful. People just read it. They don't believe it. But I got a revelation of it when my wife and I were casting out a demon. And so when you casting out demons like you and I right here, and you'll have them like a boxing ring, you'll have the supporters of the demon come certain ways and try to encourage the demon that that is in the person. So a few of them came and you can't see them, but you can tell by the response of the demon in the person. And so casting the demon out. And so uh listen to this. Apparently one of the demons told this one that we were trying to cast out. They said, "Fight against that preacher. You can beat him if you just hold on." This is what the demon did. Turned his head like that. Watch this. Beat him. Beat him. You know good and well that Satan can't do nothing with this man. This is exactly how he said it. This man God. This man God too. You're like, why would he say something like that? Jesus already told you that. Didn't he say that you are one? Didn't Jesus say, "Did not I say you are gods and all of you are children of the most high?" That's where the whole church jump off the train. They rather accept the term Christian. Nothing wrong with that. But Jesus said, "Did not we say you are gods and all of you are children of the most high?" There's no difference between you and Jesus. He went to heaven. That's why he gave you his name. He He gave you everything he had on this planet to do everything. He gave you his name. He gave you the Holy Ghost. You got angels. You got his authority. You got everything. And you got the backing of your father. These demons know that we are sons of God. They know that we are gods. Everybody knows this except for us cuz we rather just be a Christian. Nothing wrong with be a Christian. I tell we don't be getting no sign marching. We ain't not Christians. We ain't not Christians. Quit acting crazy. People like to march over everything. It's not going to accomplish one thing. But listen what the Bible calls us. We call ourselves Christians. But your father does not call you a Christian. Your father says you're my son. You're a king. You're a lord. You're an ambassador. Ambassador, I don't even know what this is. You're more than a conqueror. You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Each one of those has a dominating status, let alone all of them put together. So again, I don't even know where I am right now. We out here. We didn't can all the way out here in the middle of the ocean. Don't even know which direction is north south. We should have brought a GPS with us, brother.
Now, you might be asking, what is the gospel? The gospel is very simple. that you are a sinner and that you are on your way to hell without a shadow of a doubt. You were born in sin and the wrath of God abides on you and you do not deserve to go there by way of your sin. But while you were still a sinner, God sent his son Jesus who loved you and died for you as your substitutionary sacrifice. which means he died in your place so that you could live his life. Which means he died for your sin. He was buried and 3 days later he resurrected from the dead. And if you would confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. That's out that's out here. No, no. I'm talking about the real Jesus of the Bible, the eternal son of God that became a man. God manifested in the flesh that became a man and in 33 years he died on the cross providing redemption buying us back translating us out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of his dear son which means he redeemed us back to God he reconciled you back to God by way of his death on the cross and so you're probably saying how can I be saved very simple all you have to do is repent of your sin. I'm not talking about 360, talking about 180. You turn, you turn from your sin. You believe in the gospel exclusively. Just Jesus. I'm not talking about Jesus and Mary. I'm not talking about Jesus and Buddha. I'm not talking about Jesus and some other centralized figure. And I'm not even talking about Jesus and your spiritual father and destiny and all of that. No, no, no. There's only one way to heaven. Jesus said, "I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. and nobody comes out to the father except through me. Jesus is exclusively the only way. You want to know why he's the only way? Because he's not only the only way. He is the door to enter in. And the only way you could get in is by way of repentance. You must repent and become born again. Why? Cuz only sons and daughters can become citizens in the kingdom. Outsiders can't come in. But Jesus died on that cross and he made the way open for you. And if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. I'm not talking about all this other stuff to get saved. No, no, no. Just believe. Believe in him. The efficacy of Christ's work on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice in exchange for your sin, which means you give up your sin. You give it to him. He exchanges it and takes on your sin, but he gives you his righteousness. And then you are righteous and justified by faith in Jesus. And when you have justification because of Jesus, now you have peace with God. You have peace with God. And watch this. And now he will no longer be just your God. He is now your heavenly father through the person of the son Jesus. Why don't you pray that prayer right now? Just repeat after me. Say, Lord, I believe that I am a sinner and that I deserve to go to hell, but God, you sent your son. Go ahead. Those of you that are watching, repeat what I'm saying. Say, "God, you sent your son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sin. He was buried. 3 days later, he resurrected from the dead. I now confess you, Lord Jesus, as my Lord, as my Savior. Come into my heart, come into my life, and wash me from my sin." And now say this. Say, "Holy Spirit, I surrender my life to you. Make me born again in Jesus mighty name." My friend, if you said that prayer, whichever way you said that prayer, as long as you believe, confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and that he died on the cross for you and 3 days later he resurrected and you repented and believe that message, the Bible says, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." You are saved, my friend. Here's what I want you to do. There's going to be an email that's going to be put on the video right here.
