Hantavirus conspiracies

A warm welcome to this talk. Now, there's been a lot of interest in this hantavirus outbreak on the cruise ship. Now, people have gone from the cruise ship to all parts of the world already. For example, they left here from St. Helena to go to all parts of the world, and now it is in Tenerife, which I guess is about there, and people are disembarking. Another 120 or 130 people, I believe, are disembarking. Also going to all parts of the world, um, pretty soon.

So, is there going to be another pandemic? The answer is no. I don't believe there is. But what's interesting is why there's so much interest in this. And also, from your comments, I've got a couple of really interesting questions that I'm going to start off with here. First question that you've raised from the comments is, have Moderna been developing a hantavirus vaccine since 2004? Many of you think they have. Is hantavirus infection listed as a reported post-authorization adverse event after Pfizer COVID-19, after COVID-19 vaccination?

Now, if you haven't got time to watch this video, uh, don't worry, as I've said, there's not going to be another, there's not going to be a hantavirus pandemic. I do not believe that the risk to you as an individual is remarkably low. I guess you can't say zero, but negligible. You know, about the same chance of probably being hit by lightning as catching hantavirus off one of the people from the ship. Very, very low chances. The main reason I believe that is is the Andean form of hantavirus is very difficult to spread from human to human. It requires close contact, and as well as that, the people that do spread it are very sick. So, when people are very sick, they're going to have a lot of virus, and that's going to mean they're going to be shedding a lot of virus. The reason they're sick is because they've got a lot of virus in the respiratory system, for example. That's why they're sick, and that's what makes them more contagious, especially in the early stages. I don't believe there's going to be asymptomatic spread or pre-symptomatic spread.

Now, if you haven't got time to watch this video, let's quickly do the answer to these questions. Have Moderna been developing hantavirus vaccines since 2004? Yes. Yes, they have. So, that is correct. You were correct in your suspicions. Is hantavirus infection listed as a reported post-authorization adverse event from COVID-19 vaccine? Yes, it is. So, also true. So, what is going on here? Moderna developing or exhibiting good anticipation, as indeed they appear to have done, uh, before. So, let's, um, start looking at the evidence.

Now, the, the first evidence I want to look at is from, and obviously, I've given you all the references. Korean University Vaccine Innovation Center Collaborates with Moderna on mRNA-Based Hantavirus Vaccine Development. So, that is the first reference that we're going to be, uh, using now. Um, that's here, published September 24. That is the link we're just looking at. Also, um, this is a reputable publication because it's actually kind of the publication, um, the publication arm of, um, the, uh, this, you can let me see on that screen. Yeah, the, uh, the publication arm of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. So, this is quite a reputable, uh, news source, I would say. Anyway, let's look at what it is actually talking about. That's the reference for the American Association for the Advancement of Science, which has been on the go for 150 years, I think, right? The Vaccine Innovation Center at, uh, Korea University College of Medicine has entered into a full-scale collaboration. So, full-scale sounds pretty heavy, with global pharmaceutical company Moderna to develop an mRNA-based hantavirus vaccine. So, two things I'm unhappy about there. One is the, uh, seemed to anticipate this two years ago. Although I suppose you could say that was good, well-anticipated. Moderna, I suppose you could say. But it's mRNA-based, which, of course, we know has got many adverse reactions associated with it. This is not something I'll be rushing to get by any means.

The designation of hantavirus as a potential Disease X. So, the designation, according to this report, designation of hantavirus as a potential Disease X pathogen by, you've guessed it, the World Health Organization, underscores the need for a new vaccine against a broader range of hantavirus strains. So, what is Pathogen X going to be that causes the next pandemic? More on that in a minute. Since signing, uh, a research agreement last September, that's 2024, the two institutions have collaborated through Moderna's Global Public Health Initiative, mRNA Access Program. Um, do let me know if you're reassured by all of this in the comments. Um, mRNA Access Program. Moderna's, uh, initiative supports research in developing mRNA vaccines for emerging or neglected infectious diseases by producing pre-clinical vaccine candidates using Moderna's mRNA technology, which I am not comfortable with. The Vaccine Innovation Center has provided Moderna with with hantavirus antigen sequence information. So, that the, the, the genome of the, the genotype of the virus, and Moderna provided material from the information to the Vaccine Innovation Center. So, quite a nice relationship there. I don't have any details on who's paying who, how much money. For all I know, there may be no money involved at all. I don't know. Uh, recent Vaccine Innovation Center conducted antigen experiment studies with the mRNA material, and, and remember, this is way back in 2024, so this is nearly two years ago, not quite two years ago, although the experiments could have been done more than two years ago. Moving forward, the center plans to utilize pre-clinical mRNA candidates to provide Moderna, provided by Moderna, to develop a hantavirus vaccine effective against a wide range of viral strains compared to existing vaccines. So, we can see that, yes, uh, the answer to this question is certainly, uh, certainly yes. Moderna has been working on this vaccine since, uh, 2024, at least.

So, what the heck is this, um, this X thing? This, this Disease X? Um, so, let me just put something up on here. We'll look at this in just a minute. The World Health Organization Pathogen Prioritization. So, um, research, uh, response to Pathogen X during a pandemic. This is the paper here from the World Health Organization. Check that one out. What is this? Around 200 scientists from 53 countries are independently evaluating the evidence related to 30 viral families, uh, one core group of bacteria, and Pathogen X, an unknown pathogen with the potential to trigger, um, a severe global epidemic. So, it looks like the World Health Organization have put hantavirus on their list of suspect, uh, pathogens. And my evidence for that is, uh, on this paper here, Prioritization. And as the, uh, previous source said, World Health Organization considers this to be a potential, uh, Pathogen X. Pathogen X is going to cause the next pandemic. Of course, we don't know exactly what it is. At least I don't. Right. Uh, moving on.

Also from the WHO, a centerpiece of this work is the WHO Pathogen Priority List, which ensures research efforts are concentrated on diseases with epidemic or pandemic potential where medical countermeasures are limited or non-existent. Where medical countermeasures are limited or non-existent. Now, we've interviewed some pretty impressive doctors and professors around the world about ivermectin. Now, if it's true that ivermectin, as I believe, is very effective against SARS-CoV-2, uh, this is another mRNA vaccine, this is another mRNA virus. So, some doctors are already saying publicly that they believe that ivermectin would also be effective against, um, hantavirus. No evidence for that at all, but some doctors believe it. But if it's effective against, um, SARS-CoV-2, which is an RNA virus, could it well be effective against, um, hantavirus, which is an RNA virus? Um, very safe drug. Personally, I've taken ivermectin 12 milligrams a day for seven weeks. No adverse events whatsoever. So, um, let's. No one's saying they're being disingenuous here at all, but is there medical countermeasures that we just haven't fully utilized yet? I believe so. And I think we should be studying these medical countermeasures, but we seem to be jumping straight onto an mRNA vaccine.

So, here's the, the, uh, again from the WHO, one Disease X. So, 2009 H1N1 pandemic, 2013 H7N9 influenza, 2020 COVID, of course, and this one, Disease X, which will be occurring in 20, so sometime, uh, sometime in the not too distant future. Pathogen prioritization, their list. This is this paper here, the World Health Organization's, uh, prioritization for what they consider might be Disease X, but the pathogens they want to prioritize for study and vaccine development. Uh, now, let me just show you the reference to this, because it's all quite tightly referenced. That's the reference there. Uh, Hantavirus. So, basically, this is a screenshot from this, uh, from this paper here. I've done it in big because, um, it's, it's a bit hard to see on the screen, but it is in their list of, uh, prioritized pathogens. Actually, quite a readable paper this. It does, it does vaguely make sense actually. But here's, here's their, uh, prioritization list. There we go. Where is it? Yeah, Hantavirus down here. And the, uh, the priority they give it is high in 2024. But anyway, as I say, that's a blow-up from that site. So, you can actually see it. So, yes, it's definitely on their list. And a hantavirus, um, usually means a specific virus within the Hantavirus family. So, they're basically studying hantaviruses. So, that's the answer to that question. So, yes, a hantavirus vaccine is being developed, uh, since, uh, at the latest, uh, at the latest 2024, and possibly even, uh, before that.

Now, let's look at the next question. The next question, you remember, is, um, this was question two here. Um, yeah, is hantavirus infection listed as a reported post-authorization adverse event of the COVID-19 vaccine? This is rather bizarre. Is hantavirus infection a complication of COVID vaccine? Well, let's look at what the report says. Here we have it, uh, here. So, this is it. This is, uh, maybe zoom in a bit. This is, um, cumulative analysis of post-authorization adverse events reports of the Pfizer vaccine received through 20, only till the 28th of Feb 2021. So, who knows what's happened since then. Report prepared by Worldwide Safety, Pfizer. And this is available, uh, it's available directly on this link here. Uh, you have to download it as a PDF. It's not from my website, but you can download that. Check it out for yourself. Now, this document here is actually a very detailed document. It contains massive amounts of, uh, list of adverse events of special interest. Huge number of adverse events of special interest reported after Pfizer vaccination. Now, just to give you an example of, of how detailed this is. This is the D's, deep, death, neonatal deep vein thrombosis, deep vein thrombosis, postoperative deficiency of bile syndrome, déjà vu, demyelination, polyneuropathy. We could go on, various types of dermatitis. So, that just shows how much information is in this. And also further down, we read, uh, this is a screenshot from it here. Uh, so Guillain-Barré syndrome, hemolytic anemia, uh, hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, hemorrhage, hemorrhagic ascites, that's that's nasty, that's bleeding into the abdominal cavity. Uh, various others. But there we see that between hemorrhagic vasculitis and, uh, and between Hashimoto's and cephalopathy, we have, uh, hantavirus pulmonary infection. There it is. So, yes, it is on that list. It is on that list. So, um, the answer to that question is a definite, uh, is again, the answer to that question is a definite yes. Um, and I've lost my piece of paper, but anyway, it's a definite yes, right? And, and there's the blow-up of that. Hemorrhagic pneumonia, hemo. There we go. Hantavirus pulmonary infection. So, hantavirus primary infection is on that list. That is just a blow-up of this. So, that there is just a blow-up of this. So, you can see it. And I will just, uh, flick to it on the original, uh, reference, because I don't want you to think I'd be making any of this up. Where is it? A, B, C, D, so many. D, E, F, G. There we are. It's, Oh, there we are. Hantavirus pulmonary infection. Yep. So, it is on the list. So, what I'm showing you there, this is the blow-up of that. Right. So, make of that what you will. Tell me what you think. Um, is there some conspiracy going on here? Not for me to say. Uh, let me know what you think. Um, the big problem with this is people simply don't trust international organizations anymore. It's as simple as that. What are these guys up to? Well, we know from the public publications what they're telling us they're up to. But basically, there's been a massive loss of, loss of trust. Huge loss of trust. So, we don't know anymore.

But from what I understand at the moment, the transmissibility of the hantavirus, even in the pulmonary form, is insufficient to cause person-to-person spread. You would be at risk if someone was very sick, but then someone with this would be very, very sick, and it would be patently obvious. So, if you avoid people that are very, very sick, uh, that you shouldn't get person-to-person spread. And of course, most of the cases are directly from dried rat, mouse, urine, feces, blood, cleaning out dusty places where mice and rats have been. The prevalence of this, so we don't see many cases. I've never seen a case in, in a UK hospital knowingly. I suppose there could have been one I didn't recognize or wasn't recognized by, by the microbiologists. But basically, we see very little of this, which is good. But that the prevalence is probably, probably about 2 or 3% of you have these antibodies in your blood. So, you will have been exposed to it, but most of you won't know. So, hopefully, most of you who've had it, I, I may have had it, but the disease has been very mild, and I haven't, haven't attributed it to that cause. So, the zero prevalence, the antibody prevalence is reasonably high. Two, 3% probably higher in some populations or people that keep pet mice. The, uh, about 32% of those have antibodies, so they've had the disease, but hopefully, most of them haven't been very sick with it. So, for most people, it's probably a bit of an intercurrent infection, but some people, as we know, do get very, very sick. The ones that spread it are the ones that are going to be very, very sick in terms of person-to-person transmission. So, that would be obvious people, people are very sick. So, we would simply avoid those, and this isn't going to spread dramatically. So, this will fizzle out.

The question is, um, why is there such a lot of, uh, publicity about it? It's kind of the interesting thing, and it's also true that it's listed as an adverse event after the COVID-19 vaccine. Now, why should it be an adverse event after the COVID vaccine? You know, I haven't got a clue. Um, I mean, you could hypothesize that it's affected immunity in some way, that being vaccinated against one mRNA vaccine predisposes to infection against another mRNA, uh, mRNA vaccine. Um, no, sorry, an RNA vaccine. So, you could argue that immunization against one mRNA vaccine, that's, uh, no, sorry, RNA vaccine. I can't get my words out today. So, immunization against one ribonucleic acid vaccine could predispose to infection with another ribonucleic acid vaccine. You could argue that. It's hard to see why, but there again, it could be complete coincidence. It could just be a temporal correlation which had no causal connection at all. That's also possible, but it is on that list, which is interesting. And the vaccine is under development. Um, I don't plan on having any more mRNA vaccines. Uh, not anytime soon, anyway. So, uh, yeah, it's under development. Bit surprising that it's under development really, because for a disease that is so not transmissible. For a disease that is so not transmissible, how would the Korean institutions and Moderna expect to get their money back by vaccinating people against a disease they were very unlikely to catch from human-to-human transmission, because most of us can avoid rats? I don't know. It's not for me to tell you what to think. You, you tell me why they think they're developing this vaccine. Let's hope that no gain-of-function studies are being done on it, because people that do get sick with hantavirus infection, the mortality is high. It's dangerous because of the pathogenicity, not because of the transmissibility at the moment. Let's hope it stays that way for now. Um, I thought that was quite intriguing, really. I hope, I hope I put that forward in a in a coherent way. But couple of things that are strange there going on.

Oh, I have had an email from, um, a message from someone in Birmingham. Uh, yeah, it says rats are running amok in Birmingham because rubbish and waste is not being collected because of a strike. So, Birmingham's a big city in central England, and basically, the governance there seem to have gone to pot, and the bin men have been on strike for ages and ages. I don't know if they're back at work yet or not. I think they probably are, but there's been rubbish all over the place. Therefore, there's been, as you would expect, an explosion in the amount of rats. Uh, therefore, that is going to increase the risk, risk of a hantavirus infection. I, I would have thought so. If you live in Birmingham or anywhere where there's rodents, don't clean out dry dusty areas. Um, wet, wet it first and put antiseptic on it and stuff like that, and wear protective clothing, and, uh, yeah, just be careful not to get infected with it. So, infection from rodents is possible. I've heard there's a lot of rats in Amsterdam as well. Um, southern parts of the United States, Colorado, also hotspots for this disease, but the number overall is very small. Very small. Um, the cost of developing a vaccine, I guess, is not very small. So, quite how they're expecting to get the money back. Anyway, I'm repeating myself. We'll leave it there.
