your face card isn't luck — it's energy

This was me 5 years ago, and this is me today. Most people think that their face card is locked in by genetics, but that is a lie. Even Charles Darwin, the father of evolution, noticed that people's faces began to change across generations, not because of genetics, but because of lifestyle and behavior. He wrote about how modern humans were developing weaker jaws and less defined features simply from changes in how they breathed, how they lived, and how they chewed. And psychology proves it. The way your face looks and the way your face is perceived has way more to do with posture, contrast, and micro expressions than it ever had to do with your DNA.

Of course, DNA lays some sort of blueprint. A little bit of the pie comes from your DNA and your genetics. But I'm going to go as far as to say that 90% of it can be changed with psychology and naturally enhancing your already pre-laid foundations. So, in this video, I am going to give you the easiest science-backed ways to naturally improve your face card using psychology, not procedures.

Before we get into it, if you're new here, my name is Vikita, and on this channel, we talk all things feminine reality creation and becoming your best self. If you want more from me than just my YouTube videos, make sure to click the links in the description box to get access to my feminine energy manifestation course and all my other digital products as well. Make sure you're following me over on Instagram so you can get access to all the behind-the-scenes of how I actually apply my own advice in my own life.

Before we jump into the actual tips, first we need to understand why your face card can actually change naturally without makeup, without fillers, and without surgery. The truth most people don't know is that your brain can make a decision about someone's face in as little as 0.1 seconds. That is faster than you can even consciously register what you're seeing. And what your face is scanning for isn't just beauty, it's safety, its value, and it's emotional energy. That combined with a nice-looking face card, everyone's favorite person.

And in psychology, this is what we call thin slicing. So basically, this means that you're just making a rapid decision about someone's character or attractiveness based on a tiny, tiny piece of information. And that tiny piece of information is your face. There are three main things our brain is wired to pick up from a face almost instantly.

Number one is symmetry and facial harmony. In evolutionary psychology, symmetry is often the hallmark or the core factor of facial attractiveness. And this is because symmetry is a subconscious marker of developmental health. So back in the day, our ancestors looked at somebody and said, "If that is a symmetrical face, that chica is given us fertility and she's given us strong genetics." Our ancestors were basically wired to associate balanced features with those things, strong genetics and fertility. But here's the caveat. It's not about perfectly symmetrical features. It's not about having the most amazing, perfect symmetrical face. It's about how harmonious each feature on your face looks in relation to the others. The brain isn't necessarily scanning or looking for geometry. It's looking for balance. This is called facial harmony. The way your eyes, your nose, your lips, your jawline all fit together in proportion and spacing. A face can technically appear asymmetrical and still be beautiful, stunning, if all of your features balance out together.

Psychologically, the brain looks for three main cues when scanning for harmony. The first is equal spacing and alignment between the mouth, the eyes, the nose, the whole package. Two is balanced ratios. So, top lip to bottom lip, equal spacing of the three quadrants. And number three is softness and sharpness that is equally distributed throughout the face. And here's the best part. You can influence your facial harmony without changing your bone structure. When you do a few certain things like reducing inflammation, adjusting your posture, or softening your facial expressions, your face does appear more harmonious. And that's even if your features are uneven. Basically, the perception of symmetry and harmony within your face can be shifted and molded through how relaxed and lifted your face is, not through how perfect your bone structure is. I want you to think of it like this. You're not changing your face. You're just letting it come into focus.

The second cue is skin clarity and glow, which both signal to the brain healthy. And healthy to the brain equals attractive. Psychologists call this the health heuristic, where humans naturally equate clear skin and glowing skin to inner wellness, strong immunity, and emotional regulation. And the thing is, humans are just hardwired to be attracted to signs of vitality. Dull, blotchy, inflamed skin are not signs of health. They are signs of stress. And chronic stress is not the marker of attractiveness. While glowy, hydrated, plump, dewy-looking skin is a marker of health. And that is why that is what we find attractive because it signals peaceful safety and health. And this is why taking care of your skin and just exfoliating and having that smoother skin does automatically increase you like two, three points. Okay? When my skin was riddled with acne because of a damaged skin barrier, I looked significantly worse. And that's not being rude or hard on myself. That is just the truth. It is a fact of life. You will look significantly better when your skin doesn't have to be perfectly smooth. When it appears more glowy, hydrated, and dewy. This is basically signaling from the inside out that you take care of yourself. And because of our ancestors, that is what we are wired as humans nowadays to look for as signs of attractiveness due to that primal attraction towards health and vitality.

And the third cue our brain is scanning for when it comes to our face almost instantly is micro expressions and resting energy. This is the most underrated part of your face card. Those tiny expressions you're not even aware of. These are called micro expressions. And these micro expressions reveal how you actually feel, not how you are trying to appear. So you know that resting bitch face? I used to have that every single day. People would not approach me. I was not the friendliest looking person. And that is how I was actually feeling inside, not how I was trying to come across. So that's what people were responding to. And again, that sign of "she's a little scary-looking, she's a little intimidating." That is not giving that person a cue of attractiveness and giving your face card the best light to shine in. A tense jaw, a tight lip, furrowed brows, like those scary eyes that you're just like, you know, mean mugging somebody. Those are all signs and signals of fight or flight. And when your face is sending that message, you are not signaling attractiveness. You are signaling discomfort. People are not perceiving your beauty. It's actually kind of masked behind that feeling of discomfort that they're sensing through the way you're expressing yourself.

So, going back to the earlier mention of you're not trying to change your face and become a different person. You're trying to bring it into focus. And micro expressions and your resting energy have a huge part to play in what is being focused on when it comes to your face. When your facial energy is soft, it's calm, it's relaxed, and it just looks very melty, like it's just melting away all the tension, people will experience your face as magnetic. They will say you look radiant and youthful, even if they can't explain why, they just feel that. They're just noticing that. So, understand that your face is a mirror of your nervous system. And whatever you're feeling within yourself is reflected outward through your micro expressions and your resting energy. And those things are what people are picking up on to signal instantly as one of their three main cues as to if your face card is on point or if it is not. It might sound out there, but just trust me on this. When you regulate your body, when you regulate your nervous system, your face becomes more approachable, more beautiful, more youthful, and more balanced. You don't need filler. You don't need surgery or any expensive routines to influence any of these things. These are subconscious signals. And when you learn how to work with them, you unlock an entirely new face card that was always yours to begin with.

So, now that you know why your face card can be improved with psychology, let's get into the actual juicy tips to help bring this all together.

Tip number one is a fascia massage to lift and reshape the face. This one is going to change everything because it literally reshapes your face from the inside out. And I know this sounds crazy. It was crazy to me when I first started doing it. I started following this woman called Anastasia. I don't know her last name, but I will put her on the screen because she, to me, is the queen of fascia and facial massages. She changed my life. I bought her course, I did the whole thing, and it literally changed the way my face looked and how lifted it appeared. So, I will leave that information down below or on the screen somewhere. But this one is truly incredible. Your skin isn't just layered over bone and muscle. It's held in place by fascia. It's like a web-like network of connective tissue that runs throughout our whole body that supports every muscle, every nerve, and every cell in our body, including those tiny expressive muscles in your face. When the fascia becomes tight, dehydrated, or restricted, often from repetitive facial expressions, trauma, stress, or even just poor posture, it can literally pull your face downward. So, when your fascia is dehydrated, restricted, or tight, and it's just not at its best, you can experience puffiness, just inflammation, dullness, facial asymmetry, and even just this very locked-in, tired, drawn-out facial expression. But this is where it gets powerful because we can influence our fascia. Unlike our bone structure that is set in place, our fascia is malleable. It can be softened and released and retrained. And in doing so, you naturally lift the face back up. Literally, this woman that I followed with this course for this fascia massage, like my face just lifted from the scalp up, like it was insane, and I continue to still do it. So, the results are permanent. You have to also, I think, just keep up with it. But nevertheless, instant facelift from the head backwards from no surgery. Okay, this one is very powerful. This isn't just like a superficial sort of massage with the gua sha and whatnot. This is going deep and like pressing deep into the fascia, deep into your bone and into like these areas that you can't access superficially. Like you have to like press very deeply in there, softly. Obviously, we're not trying to hurt ourselves, but when you press like you're actively releasing and softening that hardened, restricted fascia. And with doing that consistently and continuously doing these massages, your face does change. I mean, her results are insane. She had like hooded eyes and now she has like a full eyelid again. Like, I don't know. It's crazy. And the best thing about this is asymmetry, yes, okay, can be caused from bone structure and things like that, but you can improve the facial symmetry just through the fascia because maybe you have weakened fascia in one part of your face and by working on that side specifically, it lifts and balances everything out. Nothing is set in stone, like truly, truly set in stone. And even if you don't get perfect symmetry, you're going to give the illusion of symmetry, just through improving that fascia.

Number two is eye dominance rebalancing for facial symmetry. So most people have a dominant eye. And you might not be able to know or realize you have a dominant eye until you put your hand up to one of your eyes to cover it. And you'll notice like which eye is just like working more. Like I'm definitely, this is my dominant eye. And over time, it actually can affect the entire structure of the face. And this is because when one eye is dominantly leading, it's naturally pulling more muscular tension to that side. So if you look at your face and you're noticing the symmetry is off on one side, and that happens to be your dominant eye, that's because that side is working a lot more than the other face. It's naturally pulling more tension to that side, which can lead to uneven eyebrows, which I have. This eyebrow shoots up, but yet this eyebrow seems to be, you know, higher. But nevertheless, this leads to uneven eyebrows or uneven eye shapes, right? Like one eye looks a little bit bigger than the other eye. The eyelid on one eye is a little bit larger or smaller than the other eye. Maybe you have a few lopsided expressions or one side of your jaw is more tense. That's because that side of your face or your eye is more dominant and you're pulling more tension that way. And again, the good news, this is not a cosmetic issue. This is a neuromuscular imbalance which you can retrain. So if this is an issue for you, in order to start rebalancing this, spend a few minutes a day just covering each eye, noticing where the tension is and the difference in the tension. Another thing you can do is just practicing soft blinking instead of like, you know, batting your eyes like this. And just practice leading with your non-dominant eye. You can even just cover up your dominant eye and start leading with the other one. And just practice doing this two or three minutes a day. This one's more about just being aware of where you're carrying tension. Like we're not hyperfocused or aware on how we're moving our face because it's so natural to us. So when you're just aware and you spend about two or three minutes a day just aware of where the tension is, the noticing the differences in tension, which eye is leading more, what side is feeling just a little bit more restricted. Over time, that will just repattern the facial tension leading to more harmony and more alignment with your face.

Number three is adopting a signature facial expression. Now, this one is super fun and it's cute because it sort of just gives you a little pizzazz and it's just this signal that just defines your specific energy. So, for example, I always do this like I purse my lips and I do this like that's just my energy in a nutshell. It's like a little cheeky. It's like it's a little cute. It's a little sassy, and that is just like my signature facial expression. So, have yours. Develop yours. It's just this thing that defines your energy through your face. It's that like half smile, like Mona Lisa. It's that knowing squint. It's like, "I see you." That just becomes your facial identity. And that is just a very sexy, attractive thing to have. It's not about faking your expressions or being exaggerated. It's just having that one signature thing that your face is trained to do that signals your dominant frequency and your dominant energy. When you just have like a little cute thing that you do like it just your face naturally does it, and it's just you.

Number four is the attraction head tilt. Your head position is one of the fastest ways to change how your face is perceived, especially in photos and especially in first impressions. So, there's a thing called the attraction angle. So, this is basically where you just slightly tilt your chin and you pull your head a little bit forward, not like this. It's literally like a slight forward, very gentle forward pull with your neck. Okay, this posture naturally sharpens your jawline, naturally snatches the face, naturally enhances the cheekbone shadow, and it also just brightens and widens your eyes, bringing them into that sort of perfect focal alignment. And what I always tend to do that just signals curiosity and warmth and that you're really listening to the person that you're with is you just sort of slightly tilt your head like this. Your chin is still down on that attraction angle. It's still slightly lowered. It's slightly pursing outward for that jawline, but you're also tilted like this. So, you look curious. So, you look like you're listening. And not you're not looking like you're listening, you are listening, but it's just signaling to that other person. And again, this might seem very crazy to do, but trust me when I say just practicing these things and just doing them repetitively, that will just be who you are and it will just be so natural and effortless. I have a rule in my life and that is be uncomfortable to be comfortable. When you first start learning these things and doing these things, when it comes to anything, when it comes to changing your energy, when it comes to looking better, when it comes to changing how you dress, it is always going to feel uncomfortable at first until it is comfortable. So, there's always going to be active effort in the beginning and then until it becomes just passively who you are. So, don't think this is crazy. This, this stuff works, okay? And naturally as you keep repeating those motions, it naturally molds into that template, that new template that you have created for yourself.

Number five is nasal breathing and mewing to sculpt the midface. So this one is so huge. Often if you look at people's jaw lines and they're recessed, it's because they're a mouth breather. Your face shape is heavily influenced by the way you breathe and your tongue placement. So, if your tongue is just flopping around in your mouth and you're like, like breathing like that, I even feel like I had a recessed jaw there for a second as I was breathing like that. It is weakening your jaw over time. The way you chew, the way you breathe, and where you're placing your tongue. Always place your tongue on the roof of your mouth like this, flat. Okay? I mean, that's better than just having it flop around, but just have it flat on the roof of your mouth. And even if you can see like when I'm doing that, right? Like just watch my jaw versus that. I mean, it still looks snatched, but it's more snatched. Put your tongue at the roof of your mouth. Let it live there, okay? That is its new home. And breathe through your mouth. If you have to put the sleep tape on, do whatever you have to do. Stop breathing out of your nose because that is causing your jaw to look weak, to look very defined, and very recessed. And over time, it is going to cause your face to just look weak and just drawn down and just not looking good. And so if you just practice this consistently where your tongue is placed and breathing out of your mouth, over time your facial harmony will appear stronger and more defined. Because when you're chronically breathing through your mouth, you're automatically just drooping your features. There's reduced definition in your cheekbones and in your jaw. You're getting that tired-like face, right? Like you want everything up and lifted and toned and tight, and the way we breathe and where we place our tongue impacts that very, very heavily. And then another thing is you want to so you're placing your tongue at the top of your mouth. I'm trying to explain this so I can't do it, but putting the tongue at the roof of your mouth and you're closing your mouth slightly where your teeth are slightly touching. It's not like a full closed jaw. It's just right. So you're breathing like your teeth are like sort of they're sort of hovering above each other. The mouth is flat on the roof, and you're breathing three rounds. That might seem uncomfortable. Trust me, if you want to look snatched in your face card 10 out of 10, 100 out of 10, then you need to be doing this.

Number six is lip contrast and lip hydration. So we talked about how hydration and softness and dewiness is a signal of vitality and health, which is a signal of attractiveness. Just hardwired primal instinct. Lip contrast. The way your lips, the color of your lips against your skin also influences your attractiveness. Lips are one of the fastest signals to the brain of age and energy. And in psychology, facial contrast is a huge cue for youth, and the lips are an essential part of that. So, hydrated, slightly darker lip color than your skin tone is going to have you looking 10 out of 10, no makeup. And this is why I live and breathe by lip blushing. If you don't know what lip blushing is, you need to get to know because it will change your life, especially as a brown woman because brown women tend to have the same color lips as their skin color. Just maybe a slightly pinker shade, but it's more of like that pale pink that doesn't suit brown women anyways, in my personal opinion. Nude lips, not for us. But a nice pink, rosy, reddish color will always help give that facial contrast from our lips to our skin that signals just warmth and youth, and it just brightens up the overall skin tone giving off that more even look. Dry, crusty, pale lips, they do flatten the face. When the lip color is the same as the skin color, you look like a vampire. Whereas well-hydrated, soft, luscious lips with a slightly darker color than your skin tone just gives off that softness and that sexiness. Not going to lie, when a nice juicy plump pair of lips come into your focus, you are automatically looking at that person. Like your eyes automatically go there, and you're not even looking anywhere else. You're like, "That person is attractive." And that's just what it is. Facial contrast activates neural attraction pathways, especially around the mouth area. That is automatically where our eyes go when we're talking to someone and when we're perceiving attractiveness. So, making sure that they're soft, they're dewy, they're looking kissable. Even though you're not kissing anybody, even without wearing makeup, you will look so good.

Number seven, we cannot forget about skin texture and skin health. Now, I am someone who has suffered from acne the last 5 years due to a very sad affair with isotretinoin. Nevertheless, I'm doing a whole video on that on how I cleared up my acne. It was literally cystic. But you feel so much different and you also look 10 times different when your face is clear and when it's not clear. And now I'm not saying that you have to have perfectly smooth, airbrush-looking skin. The number one thing from my journey especially that I learned is when your skin looks hydrated, soft, and plump. Even if you have texture, you will still look so good. Your face card will still be so snatched. So that should just be your primary focus. Making sure that your skincare routine morning and night is filled with hydration products. When your skin has that light-reflective look right where right here and right here, it is giving off that very glowy, light-looking look. Your signals of vitality will be through the roof. When your skin is rough, when it's congested, when there's a lot of texture on it because it's dry and dehydrated, automatically the subconscious attraction diminishes. And obviously, the psychology behind this is evolutionary where skin clarity, smoothness, and softness were visual cues of immune strength and reproductive health.

Tip number eight is my best-kept secret. I have never revealed this to anybody, not once to my family, my friends, now to the internet. And that is using self-concept and more specifically subliminals to influence the way your face looks. In the subliminal community, we don't like to share that we're using subliminals. It's a very low-key thing, but I'm going to put you on game. Subliminals will actually change your face. I started using them maybe six or seven years ago. And as I started using them, I remember my friend would tell me, "Your nose looks so different." Like, I used to have a very different-looking nose. And it's very crazy to me because I've never had a nose job, but my nose looks very different than what it used to look like. And if I'm feeling brave enough, I will insert a picture. But I don't know about that. Just trust me when I say listening to subliminals will change the way your face looks. And this is like the biggest cheat code because it's the easiest thing to do. Overnight, you're listening to a subliminal. While you're doing your makeup, while you're doing your hair, while you're at the gym, listen to subliminals for every area of your life, in whatever area of life you're doing. When I'm at the gym, I'm listening to gym subliminals for like the body. Overnight, I'm listening to maybe like an entire playlist of everything. When I'm doing my work, I'm listening to productivity subliminals, but we're talking about face cards in this one. So, when you're doing your makeup, listen to subliminals. Whatever you're doing, just listen to face card subliminals. You will notice your face will start to change. And I'll explain why this works. A subliminal is basically just a track of affirmations that you listen to on a very, very low level. So, you're not consciously even hearing the words that are being spoken through the subliminals. It's layered over a track of music or, you know, like rain sounds or whatever. And listening to it on such a low level where you can't even consciously hear what's being said, it automatically bypasses the mental resistance that you naturally have. If you're trying to lose weight, but you're currently not at the weight that you want, automatically you're going to have mental resistance. So when you hear that you're 120 lbs, but you're 150 lbs, your belief dominantly is that you're 150 lbs, not that you're 120 lbs. So when you hear that, you're like, "No," automatically mental resistance. But when you're being told you're 120 lbs, without hearing that actual affirmation, it's going straight into your subconscious mind and influencing and changing everything in there without you having the time to stop it. So when you're using these subliminals daily for whatever you want to improve, your face card specifically, it is going directly into your subconscious mind. Your new beliefs are being hardwired without any issues. You can listen to subliminals on confidence, on magnetism, on feminine energy. And actually, in my feminine energy manifestation course, I have these sleep tracks in there. And that is one caveat that I will say. Make sure you're listening to well-trusted subliminals and subliminal tracks because you don't know what is going into your brain, right? Like you don't want to be listening to a subliminal that you don't trust that person. You don't know that person is putting it out there with good intentions because that's what is going into your mind. And so just be very careful with what subliminals you listen to. That is 100% I have to say that well-trusted somebody who has good intentions, obviously, okay? Because this is your brain you're messing with here. Your face becomes what you repeatedly believe about it, what you repeatedly believe about yourself.
