Welcome to the OMGC Ankleshwar Esset Surya Auditorium. This is a briefing for safe evacuation in case of fire emergency.
The auditorium consists of a main entrance and seven exit points. Out of these seven exit points, three each are located on either sides and one is at the back of the auditorium stage near the green room. All exit points on the sideway glow with a red color with a word exit.
The auditorium has the following fire safety features: Fire detection and manual fire call point. Fire water riser and hydrant system. Fire extinguishers are placed at strategic locations inside the auditorium.
Emergency procedure: In case of a fire, you will hear the alarm sound or announcement. If anyone notices a fire, pull the nearest manual call point.
Important instructions in case of an emergency: Keep calm. Do not panic. Do not run. Walk quickly. Follow the escape routes at all times. Use stairs for safety evacuation. Help ladies, elderly, and physically challenged people to evacuate first. Once outside, gather at the assembly point. Your assembly point is the lawn in front of the OMGC club building.
Fire control room can be contacted using 7546 or 7333 using intercom and 0264 6237546 or 0264 623 7333 from your cell phone. The firefighting team will attend to the situation. Do not enter the premises until an all-clear signal is given. Smoking is prohibited inside the auditorium and in the corridors.

A national level professional and nonprofit society registered under society's registration act 1868. It has a large membership of individuals as well as institutions involved in the area of training and development of human resource from government, public and private organizations. The society is affiliated to International Federation of Training and Development Organizations Geneva, Switzerland. ISTD with its vision leading transformations through training and development. ISTD with its mission to facilitate individuals and organizations to excel in training and development activities. Serve as a reservoir of universal knowledge of human interface through innovative practices and original exploratory research.

A chemical engineer and MBA in finance with his stellar career of more than 34 years in oil and gas industry. Holds three patents in oil and gas processing. Authored over more than 15 international research papers in oil and gas sector. Mentored more than 100 engineering students throughout his illustrious career. Sir has known for his strategic vision, technical expertise and unwavering dedication. Again, a warm welcome to all of you and good evening. It is indeed a proud and historic moment as we gather here to inaugurate the Indian society for training and development Buru chapter. You know, this ISTD is founded during 1970s, but our Bush districts most happening industrial area could get this chance only this 1st December 2025. Two months before when we were discussing along with uh Dr. Thripi madam, we used to we are connected with various CSR activities in Ankleshwar, you people are all all know actually. So it was very casually, it was the discussion started sir and madam was having an urge that we should have this kind of uh ISTD buru chapter. First time, the very long time I was not hearing this, truly I'm accepting that because we have we know Rotary and other kind of different activities actually, but Indian society for training and development was it is a very new to understand. Then I started going through that literature and other background, then it is a very old institute actually. So it has been developed in especially in different different location. It is a big surprise to us how Baruch missed from this map actually because this day should come and our team should be here and we should start this. So that is the lucky we are actually. In one go itself, 75 members live members, it is a record our national president Mr. Atul Shaji is telling because in other locations wherever this kind of society is there, generally that um this life members people will not be just joining. There will be a one-year membership and small small membership will be there. We are very lucky that we could see a combination of the even students are there, industry in this actually. 75 members we have and we are very sure in hardly in 10 20 days or we will cross the first century. So that is our mandate and uh it is I'm really very proud here today.
We are not merely unveiling a plaque or beginning a new organizational unit. We are launching a movement, a mission, and a commitment to transform the learning landscape of this Buch district, especially in Narmada area also we have to work on this because we have a lot of pressure from OGC to develop the Narmada district for our aspirational district actually. So we will be working across in this way. As the chairman of ISTD Baru chapter, I am deeply humbled by the trust bestowed upon me to lead this initiative. Every chapter of Indian society for training and development across the country carries its own unique significance. But Buch holds a particularly a special place. This region is an industrial powerhouse, a hub of innovation, and a home to some of the nation's finest establishments. And yet, there is a tremendous scope to strengthen the learning, upgrading the skills, and making the professionals future ready.
Our vision is to build on four fundamental pillars that emerged from the needs of the region and the aspirations of the people. The first pillar is skill development. You all know government of India is putting lot of efforts in developing the skill development activities. We are very lucky. So we are also strengthening that mission of our government of India. In today's rapidly evolving professional world, skills become obsolete far quicker than we expect. Whether it is a digital literacy, behavioral excellency, leadership capability, or advanced technological knowledge, every professional must be empowered to learn, grow, and accept. The Indian Society for Training and Development BU chapter aims to design and deliver high impact training programs ranging from management, leadership development to technical upskilling and personality enhancement, safety awareness. This is a very unique one. When I was going through that this industry related problems and trainings are not much famous in this ISD. I think Rajis may be accepting actually. So what we are planning because in this borough district we have so many industries, heavy industries, hydrocarbon industries, other all type of industries are there with electronics related industries. So we are focusing on the safety awareness. Our chapter will be having very special having a safety as a topmost thing. Either in oil and gas or in other industries, called safety will be the very important aspect because safety awareness and related knowledge will be getting a lot of opportunity for the young generation.
Second, corrosion aspects. You all know Dr. Dr. Pjanis may be accepting me actually. Corrosion leads to huge losses in the industry actually. So how to avoid the corrosion? What are all the knowledge we should have about the corrosion? This also we will be having impact in this in our BU chapter because our hundreds of industries are facing this corrosion related issues. So our chapter will be having lot of focus and training related to corrosion aspects. Then without a digital, without artificial intelligence, without machine learning, today's life cannot be fulfilled actually. So we will be giving impact on this area also to all the young minds to develop their skills. These programs will not merely import knowledge. They will ignite potential, strengthen confidence, and transform individuals into capable and responsible professionals.
The second pillar is collaboration. This is another important word. You all know any one single industry cannot complete the entire society's needs. So in in our Buru district we have collaborated with many industries. You would have surprised why the chairman has mentioned more than 20 plus names at the start. The reason is, if you have gone through the names, all type of industries, software, exploration, oil and gas, all type of industries people are connected with us. So that is why I mentioned I thanked them actually because of their cooperation and their help, our society, this ISTD bar will be growing a lot. So next, to keep the pace with this global challenges, we need a strong partnership. That is why industry, academia, training institution, and professional bodies, we all join together. Today we are fortunate to have our dignitary, one of the very well-known name in industry, Sri Ashok Panchani Sab. With his busy time, he agreed with us to spend time with us today. The from UPL limited, a company known for its innovation-driven vision, including sustainability and climate management aspects. University is doing lot of job actually. So this particular chapter also will be extending its hands to how to get that kind of knowledge among the young minds. Their presence symbolizes the collaborative spirit we want to foster. The Buru chapter will work closely with industries to develop customized programs, leadership interventions, and learning ecosystems that align with the emerging trends.
The third pillar is knowledge sharing. Knowledge grows only when it is shared, discussed, challenged, and refined. So our chapter will organize seminars, workshops, expert lectures, master classes, panel discussions, and training conclaves where the finest minds of Indian society for training and development, including YGC's very senior officials and academia and all other industries will come together for fulfilling this assignment.
The fourth pillar is community outreach. Training and development must reach far beyond boardrooms and industry clusters. It must reach the lives of students, teachers, and youth groups, rural communities, and aspiring professionals who seek guidance and mentorship through schools, colleges, NGOs, and social bodies. The Indian Society for Training and Development BU chapter will work to enhance employability, promote life skills, and encourage holistic development. See, ultimate focus will be after gaining the knowledge, the young mind should be placed in a proper place. So their lifestyle should be improved. Our focus will be this also actually. It is not a simple managerial development aspect. It will be having the oper from skill development. We will be seeing that how they are placed in a good industries. For that, we have always with us Rotary Club Ankleshwar and all the senior president and secretary people are there actually. So we will be taking their help also. They are always helping to the community related activities. They are always there.
This moment is significant for several reasons. First, it signals a collective recognition that learning is no longer optional. It is essential. The world is evolving faster than ever before. Technology is transforming industries. Globalization is reshaping markets, and sustainability is redefining the business priorities. In such times, the organization that will thrive are those that invest deeply in their people. That is why in this chapter, apart from students, we will be collaborating with the many of the industries where that is that development skill is not there, that kind of training programs are not there. This chapter will look into that where that is available, how it can be fulfilled.
Second, Baroo being one of the nation's most crucial industrial hubs deserves a platform like this ISTD bar chapter like training and development system. A platform where professionals, academicians, and young aspirants can join, explore to global best practices, leadership lessons, and cutting-edge competitive knowledge.
Third, today's inauguration sets in motion a long-term mission that will shape not only corporate growth but also social progress. A mission to create a culture of continuous learning that transcends age, destination, organization, and background.
At this special moment, it is important to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dignitaries: against Sri Adul Shasar, National President ISD for his visionary leadership and for granting this privilege of inaugurating this new chapter. Your guidance is invaluable, sir. We will be always in touch with you. Second, Dr. Rajeshwarin Nandran madam, former national president, whose leadership in this field of human resource development inspires us every day. Actually, we will be in touch with you madam for the progress of this chapter. Sri Raju Ratsov, many of the young minds may be knowing him. He's very famous in in the social media as well as with this training uh culture actually. So entire western region knows him, very very famous man, whose consistent support and encouragement we want for this BU chapter, sir. We will be needing your help always. Sri Parak says, it's an industrialist, ambig work is honor for his continuous support and uh your presence is uh it is very valuable for us, sir. And special appreciation to the all other leaders who have come across this Rotary Bucheshwar and Dage area. And again, one more time, I want to say Dr. Try al- Mola madam, it is it is your vision and you are just going on pushing us to have this kind of chapter at Baroo. This is the very first chapter I wanted to I'm just I'm recalling that your tireless efforts, organizational commitment, and unwavering dedication. My hottest thanks to all the ISTD members, professors, and uh principles and academicians and many other industries who are all the invitees is who have helped us to shape this chapter. So friends, today we are planting a seed of a new journey. This journey will grow into a vibrant tree of knowledge, skill, and excellency. This Indian Society for Training and Development Buru Chapter is not just an institution. It is a promise. A promise that will nurture to enhance the talent, encourage innovation, elevate professionalism, and enrich our society. Let us move forward with unity, passion, and conviction. Let us make this chapter a beacon of learning, a catalyst for growth, and a model for excellency in the entire Indian society for training and development fraternity. Sir has published five books and 105 research papers in reputed research journals. Sir has conducted more than 260 training sessions and workshops, and sir is the winner of outstanding national trainer award of JCI zone 8 in 2019. I was a union leader also in my university, but I tell you, whatever the joy you get in ISTD as a member, you will not get anywhere because here you directly become a national member. Western region conference, state MP, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and second January 2026, the venue is Auro University, and Manisb is already here. So on behalf of sir, as well as from my personal behalf, as a regional vice president western region, I invite and welcome you all uh on a second and third January as the Surat chapter. Surat chapter is just four years old chapter, but now you see the capacity building that they are organizing the western region conference, which we organized last year at a Nagpur in a symbiosis university in a bigger scale. So that is the event. Another very prestigious event is a national convention, which also we organize every year, and this year it will be at a Mysore. Uh, so on 6th, 7th March, this program will be national convention at Mysore on a spirituality at a workplace, uh, hosted by the Bangalore chapter, as well as the nearby chapters of the South India. So for both the events, you all are welcome. Once again, congratulation to Mr. the able, stable, and capable leader, but So no doubt we are in a safe hand because sir is having a very wide experience, as well as the all the executive members which has been introduced and inducted uh just now, they are also very much capable because we had a meeting, online meeting, introductory meeting, and I could see the lot of vibrancy and lot of potential uh in this particular uh chapter. Shri Parak Satsar is a prominent entrepreneur owning leading SA manufacturing companies, bromine recovery, bromine production units in Biruj, and his firm was honored with best MSME unit award by the government of Gujarat. Today we are deeply honored to welcome Shri Ashok Panwani Sa, executive director UPL, and a legendary figure in India's chemical industry with an extraordinary career spanning over 51 years. Shri Pani Sa has played a pivotal role in shaping India's environmental industry landscape. His leadership extends across several major institutions, including BEIL infrastructure, envirro technology, Shivalik solid waste management, Kerala envirro infrastructure, and nurmada clean tech, where his vision has consistently driven innovation and sustainability. A remarkable milestone in his journey is the establishment of UPL University for Sustainable Technology. His contribution to the chemical industry, environment management, societal development have earned him numerous prestigious national awards, making him one of the most respected names in the industry and leadership. Sir, we are privileged to have you with us and may I request you to please address the audience and bless this chapter.
Thank you and uh good evening the Shul Sha, National President ISTD, Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran, past national president, Dr. Raju Ratur, our good friend Parabay, she janandram, chairman ICD and the asset manager of OGC, and Dr. Almora, vice chairperson, and all the other committee members, office bearers, invited guest, ladies and gentlemen. Uh, the Sufan G, you know, said that you know, the 1970 may be we started, you know, ICD was started in India, right? And why it was not done till today, you know, the simple answer is that we are waiting for you. Another another chemical engineering to come and do something, you know, so, you know, the things do not happen automatic, you know, the somebody has to come and start. So congratulations to you and born for doing this uh starting this new chapter. When I was sitting here, you know, I was remembering 92, you know, the 1992 we started Ankleswar chapter of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers. And you know, it was not as easy to start this chapter. The, you know, you are starting chapter, you know, we had a problem of, you know, bodha and ankles, the distance should be minimum 100 kilometers, 10 kilometers gap, you know, so they said you can't start. And then, you know, finally after a lot of struggle, they allowed us to do. And this chapter, you know, the became, you know, today is one of the best chapter in the country. We organized conferences. I become national president and uh student chapter, you know, our university UP University is always getting the best student chapter. So and that's what, you know, I was trying that, you know, the whatever we do here, whether it is Indian of Chemical Engineers or whether the rotary or whether is a Bar district management association or any industries, you know, we always do best, you know, we all put our energies because uh The Raju were asking whether we have a teamwork or not. You know, you'll get the best teamwork in Buru district. You know, they're all hard workers, you know, and there, you know, very few leaders, you know, everybody wants to walk. You just give a message and they will do it. That's the quality of BU is taken. We are surrounded by 3,000 plus industries, you know, the big one, the small one, and the medium scale. And each industry is committed, you know, to make something different products, you know, we have been talking suadeshi, you know, but swadeshi started from aneshwar buch, you know, the how many products have come, new products have come, which were being, you know, imported during the 70s and 80s, and today also, you know, the we have been all working that, you know, how to be swishi. That's the best part of this place. And I'm sure that Uh and one more thing, you know, I noticed when when shared the ISTD, you know, the end I was really bit know confused and surprised, you know, normally government officers and public sector unit, you know, the they keep away from this, you know, they leave it to the academicians, industry people, but this is an ISTD, the best part is that the public sector units and government office are getting involved. So that's your I think very good press point that uh the people are coming inside and the taking leadership, and that will be one of the key which will, you know, bring this uh IST chapter in Barj in a big way. We know the historically was known only because of OMGC. When we know we came here, you know, first time to see the plots way back in 1977, only people knew only nobody knew anything else, you know, and this OMGC taking a leadership of this chapter and doing that, and your team getting involved, I'm sure and the, you know, saw so many academicians, assistant professors, HR people coming forward. I'm sure that uh days are going to be bright and uh keep on doing, you know, 75 the beginning, make it 750, no, not only wait for 100. And uh whatever assurance or whatever help you want, we are always available. We have got a very big up university, luckily this is now part of that, so whole university is yours, so ever whatever you want, and whatever you want industries. I'm sure everybody will support you and wish you all the best and keep on doing good work. We want to keep on hearing good news. Thank you.
Thank you so much sir for uh your kind words. Now moving forward, I'm honored to introduce an extraordinary leader and global influencer, former national president of Dr. Rajeshwari Narendran ma'am. Ma'am is a PhD in management and MBA and Andrew Tall scholar from Harvard Business School. She is the first woman and youngest national president of the first woman ever elected for a professional HR body across Asia. She currently serves as a director of NTPC School of Business, Noida, and has been associated with IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Udaipur, and several international institutions. With her vast contribution in leadership, HRD, higher education, research, global policy, and skill development, along with 170 plus publications, books, patents, and prestigious national international awards, Dr. Dr. Rajeshwari ma'am continues to inspire professionals and students across the world. Ma'am, we are privileged to have you with us. May I request you to please address the audience and bless the chapter?
Am I audible? So um, as we know, Indian Society for Training and Development, or this is the foundation. This is the logo you would see of Indian Society for Training and Development. How many of you know the word KISS? KS? [laughter] I believe in keep it short and simple. I believe in action. Madam, please. Secretary madam. [laughter] Mobile. I need your mobile with you, please. Ma'am, right hand. This is your mobile. Keep it on your left hand again. Let us do this activity. Now, see how this has been done within seconds. Action is what I want to tell. When you say that mobile is not good for your health, brain, or any other thing, nobody is going to believe or this is proven, thousands of times. And the moment that device is in your hand, your attention and your physical strength becomes half, and we are the one who are always stuck with this mobile, and I really believe in that. But before I, as I said, I believe in keep it short and simple. Ma'am, hats off to you and sir, because you have taken the first spot. Congratulations to you. But I also believe and trust you have a wonderful team to support, and that's what has to be. Let the work speak for you, not the words of anybody be worth of it. Thank you.

Moving forward, I'm honored to introduce the national president of ISTD, Sri Atul Sasa, a respected leader in the field of learning and development. Sir is an all-India double gold medalist in ISTD training and development course and a proud recipient of trainer icon award. He is a mechanical engineer, holds a master's in HRM, and post-graduation diploma in psychotherapy and counseling, with a rich professional journey across Mukun Limited, GSP, and Ministry of Shipping. He headed the HRD cell at MPT, later served as a director of IMTR for 10 years, and is the founder and chairman of GITS India. Sir has conducted more than 3,500 workshops for leading corporate and government organizations, including ISRO, Vedanta, JSW, L&T, Nestle, Adani Renewals, Gyroscadela, and many more. He is also the founder of 4.59 AM Club and Global Yahya 6. Sir, it is truly privileged to have you with us. We humbly invite you to address the gathering and bless the chapter.
So I've got one interesting word, one interesting quotation, and one interesting part of a movie to share. So we start with an interesting word. Lorenzo the Almeida in 1505. He was the captain of the ship and he was going somewhere. There was a huge storm, and the ship was actually about to sink. Journey went totally away from where it was its destination. Captain Mr. Almeida, wherever I'm going, there is going to be something exciting that will happen. And he went astray and landed up at a place called Sarendep. Sarendep is the earlier name of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka was discovered by chance. And serendipity is a very interesting word. Anything that you find by chance is called serendipity. Apart from everything else, we in a sense found Buch. We had not initially started looking out for Birut till Dr. Rajeshwari madam suddenly gave a call, let's start Biruch. I said, which potential will take 6 months or one year? Madam said, no, we will start it in just about two months. I said, 50 members. She said, done. We are in two months, 75, which is unparalleled across the country. Very nice. Serendipity is everywhere. Me, I live in Goa. Been born and brought up in Goa. My original village is a place called Kat Cam and Kar actually. So I remember about 20 years back, I had met one friend called Nimish Patel. He was a friend. He had come down to Goa and Jabi Gujarat. At I used to feel that I should go and meet him, try to find out where he is. This time when I was coming over here, I said, let me check out serendipity. I said, and I found out from a few friends where this man is, and then I got his number. I gave him a call. I said, Mr. Patil, said, yes. You remember me, Atul? He said, huh? Atul, 20 years back we met, and we had Ratam played cricket. I said, where are you now? He said, I am at the moment in Ankleshwar. I said, Ankleshwar, I said, I'm coming now to Ankleshwar, and we are at the guest house. He said, my house is one minute from the guest house. Serendipity is believing that something will happen. Mr. Nimish Patel to make sure that what I'm saying is true. I'm meeting it after 20 years. Whatever you dream, and if you want it to happen, like Lorenzo De Almeida felt, it can actually happen. And to make it happen, there are three kinds of people in the world. Some people who make things happen, that is around 20%. 50% are people who watch things happen. And there are the remaining 30% who just wonder what happened. Among the people who make things happen is Mr. Now, if you notice one thing, he spoke about almost everybody, and I had madame who gave me a call. He said, I said, by no, Mr. G wants to know about him, and every guest who is there, he would like to speak about it. That level of inclusiveness from the chairperson is unparalleled. I come from Goa, and we had a Padma Bhushan awardee called Mario Miranda, illustrative cartoons. These are tiles called Azulejos with his paintings. Could I be privileged to have the honor of presenting one of this painting? Serendipity is everywhere. Times of India newspaper when I suddenly read, I studies training and development program in 2002. I joined the program without really knowing how it will help, but it changed my life. Only because I felt that expectation that something great will happen is something that we all could believe in. Then we have an interesting quotation. Training starts like Rajubai. I was in an organization called JC's, like madam Rajeshwari. The second part, I'm coming to the center. In 1996, and I tried, I was called by a chapter. I was in Goa. There's a place called Mapsa in Goa. Training, the program was at 4 p.m. Four time, 1996. I had my Bajad scooter. I went in my scooter, traveled about 1 and a half hour, reached there at 3:30. Chapter chairperson, and he said, by only two members have come. Program. I said, why? I have come all the way. This is my first program, and I really want to want to conduct it. He said, nobody's willing to come. On my scooter, I went around to 20 members' homes. I said, by come, I will take you and bring you here, but I want to conduct. Out of the 20, 10 people asked me, by then, I said, I'll organize the snacks. We conducted the program. I was to speak for about 1 hour. After 20 minutes, people said, we want to go home. I left that venue at around 8:30 in the night, reached at 11:30 because on my scooter, I had a puncture, and it took me a long time to get repaired, and it was raining heavily. That's the time when I read this quotation, "You can never ever ride on the road to success without a puncture or two." If you have obstacles, if you have challenges, you know, an opportunity, challenge to bring out something new in you. And if there is a challenge, if there is something tough, you have to know you are on the right path. When I spoke again to Dr. Rajeshwari, I said, it is going to be difficult to start at church. Probably I was mistaken, but she said, no, we have got somebody who's quite dynamic over here. I said, here, teamwork, but one person can't make a difference. She said, she can. Being able to overcome every challenge is not everybody's cup of tea. To have a leader who made it happen, very gracious. I think I must have spoken to her about 10 times. Her message, may she could bring the warmth and love of Gujarat and of madame leader. I'm extremely happy and could I present a momento to madame who writes on the road to success, not any puncture that happens. Thank you very much. Thank you.
English movie called Kung Fu Panda. Great. Kung Fu Panda one. Don't miss it. Kung Fu Panda one. For people who have missed it, the big fat panda. And he wants to become a kung fu warrior. Kung fu warrior. Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee, only muscle, no fat. Panda, only fat, no muscle. And he wanted to be a great kung fu warrior. So the selection, while committee, the selection committee was selecting, and they had four of the best warriors there. There was a cheetah, there was a tiger, there was a snake, and panda. And he somehow only wanted to see this happen, but he was excited. And suddenly he sits on a chair rocket to just see what is happening. The rocket takes him on top, and he falls right in front, in the middle of the selection committee. And the guru who was to select looks at him and selects the HR manager. He's saying, this was just an accident. And the master repeats, there are no accidents. For everybody, everybody here in this audience, 150 to 200 people, y'all are here is no accident. We are getting a chance to speak to each one of y'all is no accident. The Barut chapter has opened is no accident. This group of 167 people sitting here will never ever come back again in this forum. This is an historical moment that we are witnessing. Ladies and gentlemen, I remember there was a time when I worked in an company called Mukun Limited, and a man called Mr. Morti, he would come 10 minutes before work and he would talk to himself. Good morning. He said, don't ever wish me a good life. I've never had a good sir. I said, he said, but every morning I come 10 minutes before office starts, and I talk to myself. Hey Mr. Morty, what kind of a day do you want? He says, do you want, do I want to have a bad day? And he tells himself, why? I'm it's a beautiful day. 1st of December 2025 is a wonderful day. Why should I have a bad day? And he asks him, hey Mr. Do you want to have a good day? He said, "Why should I be happy just with a good day?" Look at the customer satisfaction has.
Gone to customer delight. Customer delight has gone to customer ecstasy. Why should I be happy with only a good day?
And he enters his office telling himself, "I don't want to have a bad day. I'll not be happy with a good day. I will have a great day. And I've always had a great day in my life." Wishing everybody in this August gathering great days every day of your life.
Please note, 1st of December 2025 is not a day of the month of December. 1st of December 2025 is not just a day of the year 2025. 1st of December 2025 is a day of your life, which will never ever come back. And you all have not spent a day; you have invested it with the Indian Society for Training and Development.
So many of us have changed our lives because we believed in serendipity. But you've got to join us and believe that something great will happen. And could I request all the members of the chapter to kindly rise up wherever you are in the audience? So, chapter members, sir, if you could be, and, uh, this is from now, we've been starting for new chapters. You have to repeat after me a nice, simple oath that makes you. And I still remember. Please put your right hand up. I learned this, Rajabai, in the JC's. You repeat after me: "We promise, we promise, to create and enrich, a responsible community, responsible, of human resources for the future of the nation. We seek to be role models in professionalism, in sharing knowledge, selflessly. We are committed, to provide opportunities, to all our members to grow and get better and get better, and discover their potential." Congratulations and welcome to ISTD.

Now, I would like to introduce ISTD Barut Chapter Vice Chairperson, Professor UPL University, Dr. Al-Mola Madam. Madame, Madame Lemada College of Management, Barouch, from its inception only to 25 years. Madame, a civil engineer, an MBA, PG diploma in HRD, PhD in management, with a rich industry as well as academic experience. Madame has served in various organizations like Averest Building Products, Gujarat Gas Company, Burla Copper, ETA. And madam is currently serving as a professor at UPL University after superannuating from Nmada Management College, Barj. So, it will be a privilege to hear from madam. Madam, please.
Much nit, respected members on the dis, dignitaries on the dis of the dis, and all my dear friends and students, pranam or namaskar. A lot of words, good, good words were said about me, and that made me reflect that anyone, any individual who makes a way through and achieves some heights in life should never get into that mode that "I made it." And that is what I believe because there is always a support system. There's always a mentor. There's always a leader. There is always somebody who has made you what we are. And today, when I say this, I am from the bottom of my heart indebted to four leaders before 1st December and four leaders after 1st December who are going to join me. Uh, and to begin with, when in the meeting, we were discussing key vote of thanks of now, or I decided to give the vote of thanks. So, first of all, I would like to share with the dignitaries that what has got me here today are four leaders, and I'm going to be indebted to them for a lifetime. Uh, when I joined, when I came from the corporate life to the academic life, I have with us, we have with us Dr. Baskar by Rahul, sir. Please thank you so much. Into the academic world, you papa 25 years, it's all because of you. Thank you, Rahul sir, and thank you for being here today with me to bless this occasion. And to all the team, our second leader is him. Shave, I bet his voice, the way you talk, the way you communicate, the way you welcome, how you carry yourself. O, you've touched every single moment in my life, and thank you for what you have contributed to my life. Thank you so much. And all the way from Surat, coming here is a great pleasure. I will never forget this day. Thank you so much. While two leaders on my right, two leaders on my left, getting into industry, getting into academics, um, and when I was doing my PhD in leadership, I learned that women are very weak at networking. So I said, I will not be that on the weaker side. I'll start networking. And, uh, that is where I met Ashok Pjani G and Parakar. Parak was my neighbor, and he said, Trupti, you must join Rotary Club of Buchar Narband Nagri. So he gave me this privilege of being the founder member of Rotary Club of Buchar Narband Nagri, helped me make so many friends. And if, if I can speak so much in front of everybody, Paragai, you gave me that opportunity. Thank you so much, Paragai, to be my elder brother always. And, uh, when I went to him that I want to start this chapter in Baroo, ISTD chapter, and I don't know, I don't have an office of mine where I can start this. So, Paragai, can we go about using the Rotary Club of Buch Nirmandagre's office? And he said, "Yes, madam, go ahead. Don't worry." I remember my rotary days when I was the president, past president, in the year '14-'15. I, he, he asked me, "What do you want to do as a president?" I said, "Kadach, I think Buch does not have a dialysis center." And he said, "Your dream come true." So, it's like, you know, blessing. That is the kind of blessing, Parag, you have given us. Thank you so much, and I shall remain indebted to you always. And Ashokai, who doesn't know him? A man of few words, and this is a great learning from him. Be very specific to the point, an active listener. Uh, and when I met him in the earlier days, and even now, it reminded me of my interview with Ba Copper. So, I was interviewed one extra time as compared to other candidates who had interviewed. And after I got selected, I asked the joint vice president, AK Sharma G, "Why did you take one extra interview for me?" And he said, "So, bad is not always a positive point. It turned out to be negative had I not impressed my boss then." So, these are small aspects of life that, um, you know, bring a lot of wisdom to you. So, listening more, talking less, understanding more, advising less. And, um, I don't know how to describe Ashani. This is what we are looking forward. So, that is the kind of gravity, Ashokai, you have made me learn. And I'm sure with this kind of gravity and this kind of listening, I'm sure you're going to help me move forward still more. I have many things to learn. And now, being part of your university, I have the privilege of being more associated with you. And I'm very proud to say that I'm a professor at UPL University today. Thank you, Ashokai.
And now, moving forward, I have three more leaders. Rajeshwari Madame, ISTD chapter, and this was not today. It was years back when we had the case writing workshop at Nar College of Management. Thank you so much, Rajeshwari madam. And every time I talk to you, I learn new things. If the web page has been inaugurated, social media handles have been inaugurated, that has been his, her idea, and that's how things have happened. Thank you so much, Rajeshwari madam. Rajuru Rat sir, every year he comes to, he's invited to our college for an orientation program. And at the end of the orientation program, he said, "Let's start the ISTD chapter in NADA College." But maybe I was not too organized as a director. So, but the moment I retired, I said, and then the team at college said, so thank you to my team again for telling me and sharing. And Rajurat sir, thank you for inspiring me. Thank you so much. Um, I mean, uh, it's, it's like saying that you can grow so tall and yet you are so careful about every single thing. So, uh, being connected has nothing to do with the heights that you reach. Probably it is the other way around. The more you grow taller, the more you feel you want to be connected to everybody around you. And that is what humbleness, the way you reach out to everybody's heart, not the minds. And every time, I mean, it's like talking to the national president, you never made me feel that I'm talking to the national president. You made me so, I mean, so at ease. And with your leadership today, I'm very happy that in this year, under your leadership, this chapter is being started. Started, and we have a long way to go. Thank you so much for being with us. Thank you very, very much. G, how are you? And that is why you are here because we together have committed and promised to each other that we are going to all make it happen together. It's not just the managing council of 75 members. It's all of us. And therefore, all of us, all of you, thank you very, very, very much to put your trust in us, belief in us, and to support us in our new endeavors. Thank you so much. And why should you be interested in this small chapter?" But believe me, sir, so that confidence that you showed in me, sir, we are with you and for you and for the chapter.
