Hey everybody, good to be back with you. So let's talk about women with the Sun coming through the sign of Scorpio. So with the Sun in Scorpio, we have the identity coming through the lens of Scorpio. So there's a projection of power that is always a part of any planet in Scorpio. And the Sun is becoming more and more of a vehicle for self-awareness as a person ages when we have the sign in play. So the layers of the personality are sifted through, and often the identity changes many times to encompass how a woman has grown, what she's learned about herself, and what she sees herself as and wants to be applauded for at twenty is not what she would want to be seen as and applauded for at forty or sixty or eighty. So there's deep changes in how she projects her solar power because she'll always be letting go of self-image to the same degree that she is honestly connected to what she really wants, to the authenticity of that solar power.
So women with a Scorpio Sun transform their whole approach to identity, to themselves, as they admit what they are to themselves. Honesty is extremely valuable to Scorpio Sun women, and typically to Scorpio planets. Honesty with herself will determine the level of honesty that she will connect with in others. If a Scorpio Sun woman is intimidated by her own self, then she is often a positive source of reinforcement for others. She will grow into this, though, as she gets more and more real about herself with herself. Some Scorpios Sun women do not evolve to meet the challenge of discovering true identity and can become very unteachable. And this is a defense against the horror of change, confronting one's own idea of self, and sometimes letting that go.
So reformation of identity leads to flexibility in a Scorpio Sun woman's character. With Scorpio or eighth house planets, we're gonna be sifting through our to find our buried treasure. Scorpio is the symbol for buried treasure, and the identity can become rich in character and poor in character. It really depends on if one is sifting through their own ideas of themselves, or reinforcing those ideas, or becoming concrete and inflexible in those ideas. Scorpio is a social sign. We don't think it is, but it is a sign. It's a house that sits above the horizon where the outer planets rule the social sphere of life. So when a woman is really inquiring into herself, what she is really about, confronting who she really is, then there is more social success.
There is an enigma type of energy that surrounds any planet in Scorpio, and the Sun in Scorpio picks up some traits that are going to be adding some mystery to a planet that is naturally more plain and extroverted, that the Sun. So reserved or being somewhat secretive traits often are going to accompany a Scorpio Sun. The identity really uses mystery and nuance to define itself. And again, this changes in direct proportion to how a Scorpio Sun woman's identity evolves and changes with new information. The identity becomes more plain, more open, less wrapped in mystery, as she becomes more plain to herself. And the result is a woman who is secure in who she is and doesn't need her identity reinforced by scorpyonic associations.
Some women will not evolve and learn about themselves, and this is going to lead to a real ultra scorpyonic definition of self. And she may even show herself in a Catwoman suit together to play the role perfectly. So a Scorpio woman either laughs at the role when she sees it as such, or she's going to sink into that identity role, and you're not going to be able to extricate her from it without things getting kind of nasty, because Scorpio planets do not go down without a fight. And a Scorpio Sun woman will either play that role, or she is that role. And playing the role is where real power is gained at the solar level. Believing one is the role really turns a person into somewhat of a defensive actor.
So the identity is always being threatened in the sign of Scorpio because the psychological need for transformation is being fulfilled by the Sun in that sign. And the Sun is encouraged to drop, to drop the act, to stop the transference of old patterns through the, the identity, and to be a reservoir of truth and renewal and healing. The power of the identity to see through itself is the gift of the Sun in Scorpio. And a woman saves herself from crystallizing into a caricature of herself by becoming strong and powerful in how she confronts and accepts herself. And this leads to an acceptance of others because when we understand ourselves, we are going to automatically understand others. So as a woman dispels her own mystery and ceases to identify as a mystery, then all her solar power shines so bright, so it pierces through darkness, all mystery that there is. It pierces through the mystery in the universe, the you-me-verse, the one-verse, one's one story.
So there's a lot of gifts to having the Sun in this sign. It, it is something that can confer great wisdom onto a person. But every sign has two sides, and we grow in the way that we choose. And we will again grow in wisdom or grow in ignorance in accordance to how we are really truly confronting and learning about that solar power and what it's really made of. So it can become something that's very authentic, something that is renewed, because this is the sign of renewal. So I hope this brought some understanding to this enigmatic sign.
