So Aries moon requires an instant response from their environment. They are very quick to feel and slower to completely grasp what the entirety of the consequences of their feelings and the ways they express those feelings and act out on those feelings can bring. So there's an impulsive pattern that accompanies this. This is really the sign of being first. So when they are feeling something, it can very much grip them, and they can find themselves acting out on their feelings very instinctively, which would imply quickly.
There is an emotional honesty about people with this particular moon sign because of how they don't tend to think their responses through. You tend to know where you stand with an Aries moon person. They are comfortable with having things out on the table. Now, if the moon is in the 8th or the 12th, we can have a little bit different expression there. We have to take everything into consideration. We can be a little bit more cryptic with our feelings, except when in an 8th or 12th house, you know, condition or situation with that particular placement.
But typically, Aries moon people don't want to have their feelings put on hold. They don't want to have to wait to express those feelings or get those needs met, and they don't want to have anybody place them on the back burner. They don't react to that very well. They need to deal with what is in their hearts and on their minds now, and that's very healthy for them. If you deny them the ability to act out in the moment, then their feelings back up, and it could create resentment. That active energy, it has to go somewhere. If they keep it inside, it can then turn to something stronger because it tends to ferment, and it can ferment into something unhealthy.
It's again, very natural for people with Aries moon to express any feeling that may arise in the moment and in an unfiltered way. If they don't, then they do tend to develop those angry patterns. Children with an Aries moon need to be responded to immediately. They need to know that when they cry out, you will be there. You don't necessarily have to be with an Aries moon child all the time, like you do a Scorpio moon child or a cancer moon child, but you do need to respond, and you need to do it in time.
You can help a child with an Aries moon to feel more comfortable and understand safety and that the world is a safe place through attention, so they don't then have to kick and scream to get those needs met. It can set them up for more difficult patterns establishing from the beginning that they can trust their caretakers, especially the mother in their life, the female figure, trusts their caretaker in their environment to both allow the freedom of emotional reaction and respond to them regardless of the emotions that they display. They don't want to be ignored. It is vital that they feel that they are at the center.
We tend to want to cage Aries moon children and direct them and cage them very early because they are demanding. They can throw tantrums. This is their nature. This is their role. We have to allow them to roam, allow them to climb the furniture, to say no, to sit on top of the table, and open every book and just really exhaust their need to conquer every obstacle.
Aries Moon people learn from personal experience. They do not learn by being taught. They are hard-headed. If you allow them to touch the stove when young, you can teach them early about consequences. You have to trust the Aries Moon nature, especially as a child. If you have an Aries moon child, yes, they may jump off that play structure that no other child will climb, but they have to learn for themselves what their limits are. They will keep reaching out.
As adults, they can get into risky behaviors. Then children and adults with this moon sign generally do move on from confrontations and from difficulties or upsets pretty quickly. They are emotionally quick to, I wouldn't even want to say heal, to let things roll off of them. They don't tend to hang on to things. They don't seem to retain hurts they encounter and then nurture those like other moon signs, looking at you, Scorpio moon. So they can shake things off surprisingly quickly.
A need for personal experience and personal mistakes comes with an Aries moon. They don't learn by being told. They don't respond well to limits or to being told no. This is when rebellion sets in because it's their nature to go their own direction. You have to trust that they will maybe run headlong into the fire, but they're gonna come out alive.
One challenge to dealing with an Aries moon person again is how they put themselves at the center and demand their needs be met. And they're going to be trained early for this. If you're, you know, because this is them, it's not even like you should try to train them to be different, like you should tell them that, you know, you know, you shouldn't be at the center. Earlier, you know, you, that's like telling them their nature is wrong or is bad. You don't want to judge that for them because that's when they start to react more riskier as adults.
It's about responding to them the way they need to be as children, and that is going to train them and reinforce to some degree that the world is going to respond to them when they react or with what they need. But that's, that's healthy. But as an adult, it's a little bit different how you want to handle them because they've built up this more "me, me, me" nature. And then between adults, you actually want to train them a little bit out of that by not responding to their demanding nature, not every time. You need to be discerning. So you want to teach them that they are actually not always at the center by not jumping up to change their adult diaper when they are demanding that that be done.
It's important they grow beyond the habitual style of "me" and incorporate the opposing style of "we." With the Sun and Moon for everybody, we do our best to draw or learn opposing characteristics to provide balance, both in our actions and our emotions. So by not responding to an Aries moon fit, you know, drawing you into their drama, they can, they can learn by your example, by your teaching, because you can't tell them much. They don't want to hear that. They don't, they aren't very teachable. They teach themselves best, and that's through trial and error and through, you know, trying things out, testing things out.
You can teach them to better connect with you and the world at large by not reinforcing that infantile behavior of "I'm going to act out, and then everybody's going to meet my needs" because a lot of the need is for attention. So it's training through positive reinforcement when you're dealing with an Aries Moon adult, and that's really the best way to deal with them. We applaud the positive and we look past the negative. They're very sensitive to criticism, and the prospect of losing the feelings of safety are very much centered around being the center.
You want to help stretch this tendency by teaching them with deliberate, mindful non-reaction. Aries moon will come around. They will pick their screaming self up off the kitchen floor and come over and help you do the dishes if you're strong enough. You have to outlast them. This brings them added safety when they know that they can count on you to be the adult in the room. If they know that you will only allow them to push you so far and are going to again be the adult, they can respect you. Respect and safety are very linked with Aries moon people. If they can't respect you, they feel that they then have to be on their toes all the time, and it makes them more reactive. They have to be testing you all the time, too. They can't relax because their feelings aren't safe with you.
So at their heart, Aries Moon people really have a need for action, attention, energetic exchanges, affirmation. It's a very dynamic and spunky place to have the moon. So if you can understand their need for acting out, their need for pushing the envelope sometimes, you can really understand why they're motivated the way that they are, and that's really the key to having a lot of tolerance for somebody who has this particular, very colorful moon sign. So I hope this was helpful, and I'll be back really soon.
