Spiritual warfare prayers with scripture. If you're currently under spiritual attack, the symptoms of that attack could be a loss of hunger for God's word, prayer life feeling weak, distracted, or non-existent. Worship may feel empty. Sometimes sinful habits or temptations are knocking on your door. Again, you feel constantly overwhelmed or mentally foggy. You're unusually tired or fatigued without clear reason. Experiencing sudden or unexplained sickness. Feeling like pulling away from Christian community because of offense, hurt or apathy. Maybe experiencing financial pressures or losses that have suddenly piled up. Perhaps close relationships are full of unusual strife. Or maybe you feel confused, condemned, accused, and bombarded with temptations more than usual. The following scriptures and prayers will help you to stand your ground in the midst of that warfare. Get your strength back. Get your passion back and see God bring a victory in your life.
Strength in the Lord. Lord Jesus, I lean on your strength today. Fill me with your power and your courage that I may stand firm against the enemy's attacks. Ephesians 6:10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
Armor of God. Lord Jesus, I put on the whole armor of God. Clothe me with your righteousness. Shield me with faith. Guard my mind with salvation and cover me with your truth so I can stand against every scheme of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Shield of faith. Lord Jesus, I lift up the shield of faith against fear, doubt, and temptation. Let every fiery dart of the enemy be quenched by my faith in you. Ephesians 6:16. Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
Sword of the spirit. Lord Jesus Christ, place in my hands the sword of the spirit which is your word. Help me to cut down lies, break deception, and walk in the freedom of your truth. Ephesians 6:17. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God.
Watchfulness in prayer. Lord Jesus Christ, keep me alert in prayer. Strengthen my spirit to resist temptation and let me not fall into the traps of the enemy. Matthew 26:41. Watch and pray lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Submit to God and resist the devil. Lord Jesus Christ, I submit myself completely to you right now. As I resist the devil in your mighty name, let him flee far from me. James 4:7. Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
My refuge and my fortress. Lord Jesus Christ. You are my refuge. You are my fortress. In you I find safety. In you I find peace and in you I find my strength. I will not be afraid for you are with me. Psalm 91:2. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in him I will trust.
The truth that will set us free. Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for your truth that brings freedom. Break every chain of deception in my life and guide me in your word. John 8:32. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Overcoming by the blood of the lamb. Lord Jesus Christ, I overcome the enemy by your blood and by the testimony of your faithfulness. Strengthen my voice, declare your victory in my life. Revelation 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
No weapon shall prosper against me. Lord Jesus Christ, I declare no weapon formed against me shall succeed. Every tongue raised against me will fall. For my righteousness is from you alone. Isaiah 54:17. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord.
Standing firm against Satan's schemes. Lord Jesus Christ, help me to stand firm against the plans of Satan. Expose his plans and give me discernment to recognize and to reject his lies. 2 Corinthians 2:11. Lest Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Casting down strongholds. Lord Jesus Christ, I cast down every thought and imagination that rises against your truth. Renew my mind and help me to take it captive by your word. 2 Corinthians 10:5. Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Greater is He that's in me. Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you that you live in me. Greater are you in me than any demon, any force in the world that comes against me. Strengthen my confidence in your presence. 1 John 4:4. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Spirit of power and not of fear. Lord Jesus Christ, I reject fear, for you have not given me a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, a spirit of love, and a sound mind. Fill me with your courage and your peace right now. 2 Timothy 1:7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Authority over the enemy. Lord Jesus Christ, I walk in the authority you have given me. In your name, I command every work of darkness to be destroyed and every evil spirit to leave. Luke 10:19. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all of the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
The battle belongs to the Lord. Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that the battle is yours. I will not fight in my own strength, but will trust in you to give me the victory. 1 Samuel 17:47. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands.
Trampling serpents and scorpions. Lord Jesus Christ, by your authority, I trample on serpents and scorpions. Every demonic power is under my feet through your victory. Luke 10:19. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all of the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Stand still and see the salvation. Lord Jesus Christ, when I face battles too great for me, help me to stand still in faith and see your salvation and deliverance. Exodus 14:13. And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more, forever."
I'm more than a conqueror. Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you that I'm more than a conqueror through you. No defeat will last and no attack will prevail, for you have made me victorious. Romans 8:37. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
I'm delivered from every evil work. Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for your heavenly kingdom. Keep me safe in your hands until the day of glory. 2 Timothy 4:18. And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
I'm surrounded by God's angels. Lord Jesus Christ. Send your angels to encamp around me and my household. Let them guard my steps, protect my family, and drive away every spirit of darkness. Psalm 34:7. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them.
Deliverance from traps. Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from the snares of the enemy that he has laid before me. Keep me from the hidden dangers and rescue me from every secret plot of darkness. Psalm 91:3. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
Kept from the evil one. Lord Jesus Christ, just as you prayed for your disciples, I ask you to keep me from the evil one. Protect me from his power and preserve me in your truth. John 17:15. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
Rescued from darkness. Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for rescuing me from the dominion of darkness and transferring me into the kingdom of your light. I renounce every lie of darkness and I choose to walk in your freedom. Colossians 1:13. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
The Lord is my light. Lord Jesus Christ, you are my light and you are my salvation. Whom shall I fear? You are the strength of my life and I will not be afraid of the enemy. Psalm 27:1. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
Deliverance from evil. Lord Jesus Christ, I pray the way you taught us. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. Keep me safe under your covering every day. Matthew 6:13. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
The Lord fights for me. Lord Jesus Christ, contend with those who contend against me. Rise up and fight for me, for I belong to you. Psalm 35:1. Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.
