[Music] Howdy there reprobates. How's it going? We're back with another live stream. Uh, I'm just going to give folks a little minute to find the stream, find the chat. This is kind of uh, I I haven't been doing as much Slab City news lately, um, but this is this is kind of a big one. Um, I'm going to plug in my little light here so that I got a little better lighting on my face. There's nice sunlight outside, but it's kind of windy and I don't want it to [ __ ] up the stream sound, so I'm just going to put this together. This is this is my very technical streaming kit here. I've got everything in this nice, nice little bag. Um, actually, most of it's like editing stuff, but yeah, anyway.
So we've got, we've got a bit of a story today, and I have some information that a lot of other folks don't have unless they're people that live in Slab City. And even so, um, I might have a little bit of my own unique insight. Hey Micah, could you turn on the power outlet, baby? Oh, mic is not in here. Where the [ __ ] did they go? Okay, well, anyway, um, I I guess I can't turn on my light. Whatever, that's fine. You all can see me. The the shadow, the the light source is just not very, uh, very flattering, but you know, we'll, we'll work with it. I'm going to open this door up then. And also, holy [ __ ], there's been so much going on just like in general, but, um, you know, Slab City this time of year is typically getting pretty, pretty intense. Um, I haven't looked at the temperatures in the last few days, but, um, yeah, there's, there's a lot going on.

Anyway, so I'm going to give kind of like a little brief, a little brief history here. So if you don't know, Salvation Mountain was built by Leonard Knight a number of years ago. He passed away, I want to say like [ __ ] like seven years ago now. I'm I might be wrong, it's somewhere in that range, five, seven, something like that. Um, it was shortly after I had first started coming to Slab, so maybe it's almost like 10 years now. [ __ ] I I know, um, somebody in chat, if you know or you want to look it up, feel free. But, um, suffice it to say, uh, there there is a documentary about it. You can watch it. It's it's kind of fascinating. Um, Leonard was probably like one of the absolute best wing nuts out there. And, uh, wing nut being somebody that is a little bit, little bit eccentric, you know, or very eccentric, and typically they have like a very deep fascination with God or spirituality and they feel called to like build something. Or, um, in some cases, you'll meet wing nuts on the street that are homeless and they've got like a crazy ass shopping cart with like [ __ ] all over it and some crazy philosophical message to share. And, uh, one thing that I learned when I was first on the street is like, you don't, don't want to make eye contact with those kind of wing nuts because they will come over to you and they will tell you everything. And sometimes you don't have time for that. But, um, on the opposite side of the spectrum, people like that are, uh, very industrious and very kind and loving and want to share whatever their message is in a non, like, uh, accosting sort of way. And that's what Leonard did. Um, and he built an amazing monument to his ideas about God and love. Uh, and a lot of people are very inspired by it. And, you know, I think that's great. Like it's, uh, it's harmless at worst, um, and like actually kind of nice and good at best. So, you know, it depending on what you're, what your perspective is on that. Um, because he wasn't like preachy like everyone needs to accept God and whatever. He was just like, God is love. That was his message. And, you know, I think that's nice. I think that's very nice. Um, so yeah, he passed away like damn near a decade ago now. He was in, uh, he was in some type of hospice the second year that I came out to Slab City. The first year he was still working on the mountain, but was in poor health. H and then he was admitted to hospice in like San Diego and he passed away, I think the year or the second year after that. Um, and it has been for a while. It was like kind of, I mean, there was, you know, this the Salvation Mountain group that was like maintaining it and stuff, but it just didn't have like, uh, a dedicated caretaker for a while. And I remember it was kind of like, it, it was kind of open and chaotic. I used to go down there and and hassle tourists personally. I'd go down there in a bathrobe with a 40 and then like make tourists give me five bucks if they tried to take my picture or something, cuz it's, you know. But, um, then Ron moved in. Um, I can't remember how many years ago now, but it was a while ago. And he's been rebuilding it and living there and making sure people don't [ __ ] it up. Um, that sort of thing. And, you know, he's, he's really put his life into that place and preserving it. And that's what it needed, you know, somebody that was like a resident there to to make sure that folks like me aren't aren't hustling the tourists and also so other folks that are shittier than me aren't, um, going and trashing the place and like stealing from it and degrading it. So that's really nice. Uh, that's good.
And there is, of course, the Salvation Mountain, um, nonprofit group that Builder Bill is part of and a number of other like elder slabbers. And, um, you know, Bill's not a rich guy. He's barely getting by as is. I've kicked him down money and I'm poor as [ __ ]. Um, so like, you know, it's, he's not doing it for the gain. Uh, nobody is because there's not really, there's not really much gain for it. All that money goes back into keeping, uh, the folk art installment that is Salvation Mountain preserved and functional and there for for people to experience and interact with. Um, hey Micah, could you turn on the power so I can turn on my my light? Oh, thanks. Yeah, the lighting is not super great right now. Um, it's not bad, but anyway, I'm going to see if I can set this little thing up right here so that we can get decent lighting. Is it on? Okay, no problem. Um, anyway, so yeah, the people. Thank you. Uh, that's that's a little bit better, I guess. Okay, yeah, I'm not mad about that. Um, there's, there's a lot of work that goes into the mountain and there's a lot of, there's a lot of people around the world that have like interest in helping to preserve it through monetary donations, which are always necessary because that it's a huge structure and at this point in in its life cycle, there's a lot of of things that Leonard built that are coming apart because of the weather and because of use. Um, so, you know, there there's a lot of of room for people to use that as scamming. And with the internet, people can go online and pose as anybody that they want and say anything that they want. And a lot of people will just believe them without, uh, doing due diligence or looking into details of that sort of thing. Um, so let's see. We're still in the kind of background history lesson, right? So, um, that's like kind of what Salvation Mountain, um, where it was at, like around the time that I moved into the library, uh, shortly after I moved into the library in Slabs, um, around 2014. Ron, uh, took over the mountain. I think maybe like a couple years after I had moved into the library. I'm not, I'm not saying that's like, uh, a concrete fact, that's just like around that time. Um, correct me if I'm wrong. If Ron's watching, I know sometimes he tunes in. Love you, dude. Love your work you do. And all of the old older slabbers that really throw down and have made, uh, you know, made it their mission to to serve the community and preserve existing, uh, establishments and structures and slabs that serves the [Music] community.
Let's see. Oh, this isn't a lighter, this is a weed pen. Okay. So fast forward a few years. Um, I want to say like maybe five years ago, um, T D Walton moved into the structure next to, um, next to right next door to the library. So before he moved into there, I had a neighbor named Cannibal Ray who threatened to kill me and tried to on multiple occasions. Absolute piece of [ __ ] scum [ __ ]. Um, I hope that he's having a terrible day today. Or, you know, maybe not having a day at all. Um, and, uh, so he, this is on my channel too. This is the whole, this is the whole thing. Um, but basically, I made a citizen's arrest of him. And during the time that he was held in jail after an attempt on my life, um, people around the whole town came and like ransacked his place. I was watching it. It was crazy. Um, and one of those people was my friend who has now passed away. Um, and like I didn't have to do anything. I was the neighbor. I have a nice hill where I can see my neighbor's yards from. And I just kind of sat up there literally eating popcorn for part of it and just watching people because like Cannibal Ray had had been running his own, um, scam where he was representing his, uh, like compound. I wouldn't call it a compound, it was just like a hut, uh, and a garden. But he was promoting it online as like a healing center and was bringing in tourists, mostly women, actually, almost exclusively women, uh, bringing them in and saying like, I can heal you with C out, basically. And, uh, after he was run out of Slabs and had nowhere to be because his stuff got all taken, it was the beginning of summer. Like if you don't have, um, like a structure to keep you like alive in the summer, then you're [ __ ] and you can't be there. Um, unless you have friends that you can stay with, which he had no friends because he was an awful person and is an awful person. Um, and, uh, almost immediately after T D moved into that space, and now that I'm thinking about it, it seems pretty convenient for him to move into that space which had been represented online as a healing center. Kind of shows like an early inclination to take credit for other people's work and, uh, promote himself as some type of healer, which is what he was doing. He set up his little tripod thing over there and was inviting women over to to get healed. And after he got run out, um, because he was, um, he was being inappropriate toward women and he, uh, pissed off the wrong people. Like he, he came on to, uh, some woman and was being like a sex pest toward her. So he got his ass beat and he got run out of town. Like literally walked out of town by three young gentlemen. Um, you know, and I, I sat up on the hill and I watched that happen too. Um, it was, um, it was a good show. I liked it, honestly. Um, if you're a cop, you can't prove [ __ ]. Um, anyway, so he was a [ __ ] creeper, pissed off people, got run out of town. Couple years later, he comes back, moves into, um, uh, the area behind Salvation Mountain, which is the tanks, which is where I used to live back when I was a seasonal, like snowbird, and a person that stayed in Slabs only during the winter. I used to stay up at the tank where his camp is now located. And, um, you know, I ran like a little cafe out of there. I fed people for free, even though I had like nothing. I had like one table and, you know, maybe a handful of people that would come up for sandwiches every now and then. And once in a while, a tourist would make their way back there and buy some of my jewelry or something. Um, which was cool. But now, uh, he has that entire top of the hill like staked off. He's destroyed the road that used used to go up over that hill. He dug it out. It got washed out conveniently by some of the rains, but I'm I'm sure that it was, um, dug up by a person. Like I've been over there, I've inspected it. And he keeps putting this like, uh, traffic, like a no crossing sign at that, like the end of the road where it's all destroyed out. And every time I go up past there, I throw it in the [ __ ] ditch. Yeah, that's right, T D. I'm the one that's been throwing your [ __ ] sign in the ditch, you absolute [ __ ] piece of [ __ ]. Um, and he lets his his pit bulls run around off leash up there. And they roam, they roam all the way over to other people's camps. They've attacked multiple people who are just trying to get through. Um, and he's completely ruined that spot, which which used to be a spot where people in the community liked to go and hang out. It's a beautiful spot. The the view is nice. Um, it's a little bit outside of like Slabs proper, so it's quiet. Um, we used to go up there and have bonfires and stuff. Now nobody can go up there because T D is a piece of [ __ ] and doesn't give a [ __ ] about the community and let his his [ __ ] aggressive dogs run around and attack people up there. Sometimes they make their way into the neighborhoods too and attack people. I don't know if they, I think I don't know this for sure, but I think that one of them had attacked a child at one point as well. Um, and he has been contacted by a number of members of the community to like get control of his dogs. And he has either given them basically a [ __ ] you as an answer or not responded at all. Um, he is not involved in any part of Slab City community whatsoever. He does not come to any events because everybody hates him and everybody knows that he's a piece of [ __ ]. He does not show his face anywhere in Slab public because he's a coward and a [ __ ] hustler.
So I've found out that he has in fact, and this is confirmed, he has in fact been representing himself or, uh, telling people online that he represents Salvation Mountain. Uh, he has never worked at Salvation Mountain. He's not even welcome at Salvation Mountain. He used to do sermons there, and now we know why, um, because he is posturing as the gate or as the keeper of Salvation Mountain. He doesn't do that anymore because he was taking donations publicly there at Salvation Mountain on behalf of Salvation Mountain while not representing Salvation Mountain at all. Um, and he has been representing him himself online as, uh, so if if anybody in here in chat has, I know it's a long shot, but if you have been contacted or if you have been in contact with T D Walton and have given him money thinking that you were supporting the community of Slab City, I want you to just say something. I know it's a long shot, but raise your hand if that's you. I don't have any link saved at the moment. Oh, that's that's okay, Dave. Um, oh, I forgot to put the links in the description. I'm so sorry, guys. Maybe I can, oh, yeah, I can't do chat in here. Okay.

And if you do know somebody that is interested or like fascinated by Salvation Mountain and has thought of or has donated money, um, go ahead and share the link because this this affects a lot of people. Um, this affects the actual people who have been maintaining Salvation Mountain, who are struggling day to day just to make ends meet. They can't afford like basic [ __ ] that the mountain needs to to keep functioning as it does. Um, contrary to popular belief and rumor, um, you know, folks are, they they're not like making a kill doing that [ __ ]. Like Ron is okay, he's doing fine, but he's not a rich guy, you know? Like he's, he's busting ass out there. And and other folks that volunteer at the mountain or, uh, otherwise work at the mountain, they're not rich either. They're just folks like me that are [ __ ], you know, out there trying to help. Kim says, I learned about you via Leonard somehow and heard about this scammer already. Word. Yeah, uh, yeah, T D Walton, absolute piece of [ __ ], not welcome in Slabs, somehow is still there. Ruins everything he touches. And he's been funding the Slab City soup kitchen, which he does not do anything for. He doesn't work there. Uh, Water Boy does. Water Boy has been doing a lot of good work, um, and and helping out with that. And I don't think that he has anything to do with this T D Walton scam. I think he's just getting the funding to go and get the stuff and then doing the work himself and putting that food out to people, which is that's important work. And I'm not mad about it because it doesn't matter where, you know, where stuff's coming from. What he's doing is feeding people. That's great. Um, but T D is taking all of the credit for it and getting this funding and acting like he's paying out of the kindness of his own heart. But what he's actually doing is skimming donations from well-meaning people, keeping the rest low key, and putting as little as he can into the soup kitchen so that he can look like he's doing something for the community, which I think is [ __ ]. So if anybody does want to donate to the soup kitchen, contact Anthony Stall personally and donate through him, um, through Water Boy and, uh, his his Facebook profile. I don't know if he's going to like me, uh, mentioning him on here, but, you know, if it gets donations to the soup kitchen, I think that's great. And if he's upset about me mentioning him, he can talk to me personally. But all of that to say, um, this is kind of a [ __ ] big deal. And I've had this, um, suspicion for a long time. I knew he was up to no good. And, uh, something about him, like many things about him, did not rub me correctly. Did not rub me right at all. And he, I always thought the guy was a piece of [ __ ], even, uh, when he moved in next door to me. I had heard a lot of things from a lot of people having problems with him. And they were like, yeah, look out for that guy, you know, like, don't, don't believe his [ __ ]. He is a [ __ ] scammer. So, you know, I kept my distance respectfully. I've watched him manifest his own wreckage. Um, and now he's doing it again in a much bigger and stupider way. And like more flagrant, like stealing from from the fold, as it were, like stealing money that people in earnest are giving from the goodness of their hearts to help people in need. And I think that's, there's a special place in hell for people like that. There really is. People that dishonor the name of their God like that, for money. There's Bible verses about that. I'm sure if anybody in in chat is religious and you can think of a few verses having to do with people, it's it's almost like taking the Lord's name in vain, right? And also, uh, serving money rather than the Lord.

I can talk about things that I've heard other people say that are from people that I trust and respect, but I'm not going to like posture as though like I firsthand know that. Um, so any of this information is stuff that I firsthand know and have seen. And for those of you that don't know, I lived in, I my I still live in Slabs. My home address is at, um, at the library in Slabs, or in the library area, you know. And I've I've had that address for over 10 years now, something like that. Um, and I homesteaded there for seven years, year round. Now I'm more seasonal, for all intents and purposes. But, um, so that's how I know the things that I know. It's not because I've been following along online. It's because I was [ __ ] there. Um, and I think that's an important distinction because you can know a lot not being there, but like actually being in Slabs, seeing things with your own eyeballs, or whatever it is that, whatever facilities you have, is a lot different. Um, and you got to remember that the stuff that you see online is only a very tiny fraction of what's actually going on. So if you're one of those looky-loos that follows along online, keep that in check, okay? Because you can only know so much. And a lot of what you know is is put forth by people who have incentive to not be honest, like T D Walton. Um, and I know he does have a criminal record. I have seen it. Um, I I don't recall offhand what it is right now, but a few years ago when we were looking into him, I did see his criminal record. And, you know, there there are some quantifiable things on record that prove, uh, definitively how much, not not exactly how much of a piece of [ __ ] he is, but that he is a piece of [ __ ]. Um, and that he does have a record of abuse.

Yeah, there have been a number of people over the years scamming and misrepresenting Salvation Mountain, which is so [ __ ]. I don't know. It's like Slabs is a free place, what, what to whatever extent that means. Um, it's not a lawless place, you got to keep that in mind because, you know, a lot of people like to say funny buzzwords on YouTube to get more views. But there's police presence in Slabs too. And it's still, you know, federally owned by the state of California, though it is Teachers Union land, which is a weird gray area where which means that people are free to build structures there because they've been doing it for so long that the government decided that it wasn't worth it to [ __ ] with, right? So until until that changes, Slab City is a free place in whatever capacity that means to you. Um, and so because of that, there is like you have the ability to pursue free enterprise. Like I [ __ ] reestablished a [ __ ] life library, which is still running and still, uh, still being curated and built upon by my friend Aurora. And there is an internet cafe that's gone through a number of hands. There's the Ponderosa, there's East Jesus, which is not on technically on Slab City land, it's its own thing with its own nonprofit organization, but that was started by, um, [ __ ] uh, Charlie. I'm, oh my God, I'm forgetting his last name. Somebody in chat is going to yell at me for forgetting Charlie's name. But anyway, he, he came out there just like I did and just like a lot of other people and built up a space and now it's its whole own thing and nonprofit. Leonard Knight did that. Um, Builder Bill did that. So many other people have done that. Um, and like if that's what T D wanted to do, then he could have easily done that himself. He could have built a crude structure, got funding for for the soup kitchen, worked the soup kitchen, been an honest man and [ __ ] been straight up about what he's accepting money for. He could have absolutely done that just as easily as anybody else could. But he didn't. He wanted to steal from somebody else's hard work and an entire board of people who run this. Um, and I, I mean, chat, can you come up with some some adjectives for that? Like, what, how can that be described? Because I'm running out of adjectives. It's disgusting. Um, it's it's dishonest. It's lazy. Um, it's scum [ __ ]. There's like so many other things that he could have done with his time and effort instead of skimming off of other people. Horrendous. Thank you, Josh. Um, and, you know, last time I was in Slabs was a couple months ago, something like that. Um, I've been in LA getting my prosthetic leg made and it's it's been a a big process. So if anybody decides to donate, that's that's what you're helping out with. I am an amputee. Um, and here here's my leg. It doesn't fit right anymore. It hurts a lot. I'm in a lot of pain. And I've been taking it very, very easy and just kind of I'm I'm in bed right now. I'm I'm laying down, keeping my leg elevated and chilling. So that that does help. Um, I'm not just soliciting money because I'm trying to fuel a drug habit or whatever the [ __ ] T D is doing up on a stupid hill that I used to live on that I love to hang out at that I can't go to anymore because his dumbass has taken it over with his garbage [ __ ] that he's buying with other people's money that they're giving him thinking that they're supporting the community of Slab City. Absolutely deplorable, vile. Thank you, Lowring Acres. You got your new leg? No, I do not have my new leg. That's that's what I'm just saying. I'm I'm working on it. It's taking a much longer, uh, amount of time that I had anticipated, which, you know, at this point, I'm I'm out of funds. Uh, I'm going to have to start streaming like basically every day again. And I was actually running like food food drives there with having nothing, broke down van, no no income, homeless as [ __ ], and I was feeding people. I would go like, and my van didn't run either. I would hitchhike and ride public transportation. It took me like five hours to get into town to go hold a cardboard sign. If you go back on my channel to like my earliest like three, five videos, there's one of them where I'm literally on the street corner holding a sign collecting money so that I can go buy food and groceries so that I can feed myself and my my partner at the time and also buy a few loaves of bread and like peanut butter and tuna and basic cheap staple foods that I could then, um, give to people or, uh, get give for a donation if people had something to trade or whatever. But like, you know, nobody was turned away for lack of funds. Um, so that's that's what I did. Even before I moved into the library, I was doing what I could to support people in the community. And actually Water Boy and his his brother used to come up and visit me periodically when I was up there. And, uh, I used to make, um, I used to make sandwiches for Water Boy's brother. And yeah, interesting, interesting how it kind of comes around full circle.
But anyway, yeah, brain damage, finally on the road. Head to Slabs. Don't go to Slabs right now. What the [ __ ] are you doing? If you know anything about Slab City or have been paying attention, you know that now is not the time. It's the middle of summer. It's [ __ ] middle of July. Um, yeah, one of our own participants here on my channel and other YouTube channels about Slabs just passed away last week from heat complications. Um, and he had like a structure and friends to to look in on him and and stuff like that. You don't have anything except for your vehicle. That's just you have literally everywhere else to be. I'm anywhere else. I'm in a [ __ ] dirt lot on a mountaintop. Yeah, rest in peace, Special Ed. Yeah, Dave is not in Slabs. Also, Dave is a seasonal, uh, snowbird as well. No, don't, yeah, that's that's dumb. You have literally everywhere else to be. Um, there's the entire world. You're not prepared. And I'm I'm done warning you. If you're going to go out there, then you can you can deal with that yourself. Um, but you, I on record, I'm telling you that it's a bad idea. Go in. Yeah, if if you wanted to be smart about it, you would you would travel around, camp by some lakes on some BLM land, hang out, enjoy the rest of the summer as it cools down, and go to Slabs in October. That's what you would do if you were smart. But if you don't even know that you can camp on BLM land for like two weeks and legally without having to move anywhere, and you can just shuffle your way from one BLM camping spot to another, then I don't know what to tell you, man. Josh says, I'm planning on going to Slabs around October, likely stay a few months. Cool. Hell yeah, that'll be great. Yeah, between October and February, that's the season. That's when you want to go there and start like establishing yourself. Yeah, if you were smart, you'd go there in October, start building your structure and building it for summer, not for winter. Building it for summer, making it as cold as possible so that you can't even hang out in it during the winter. And then once it starts heating up, it'll just be barely cool enough for you to survive. RS JR says, a few years ago, you were telling me about that. I don't know what. Oh, yeah, about heading there during a certain season. Yeah, I've been saying this for years. Um, so if people want to know about what it takes to live in Slab City, I've got an entire playlist on my channel. Mhm. The only reason I'd go back to Slabs right now is if I like absolutely had to for like legal purposes or something, or like, whatever. But yeah, I'm I'm not there for a reason. It's, I've got other places to be. I've got other things to do. I haven't lived, I haven't lived in Slabs through a summer in two years. I've dipped in and out as much as I need to. Um, but, you know, I put in my time. I did seven summers total. That's brutal. Um, I've seen a lot of good friends pass away and a lot of friends leave because it's it's rough, or because they had like health complications or something. And my light just turned out. Micah, are you able to turn the light or the power back on? Yeah, I guess it's not enough draw. But yeah, Micah's got a sick little setup in here and it's so luxe. And I I'm so comfortable. They're up front in the gaming station playing video games. They're playing, uh, Breath of the Wild, which I have also been playing a lot lately. And it's a lot of fun. It feels like almost sinful because like, you know, being in Slabs, I had to build my whole own setup and my whole own system, you know, power and get internet, which took a while, especially coming to Slabs with absolutely nothing, you know, being able to build myself up to that point so that I could get to a level where I was able to play my video games on my emulators on my laptop computer on my off-grid power system built out of salvage and like everything that I had that was a convenience, like like clean drinking water and, uh, power and, uh, living space was all hard-won. Like it took a lot of work to to reach that point. So being able to just sit in here and be comfy and enjoy nice things like a nice, uh, not hot beverage, it's not ice cold, but it's not hot, um, and, you know, power to charge where I don't have to set out my my little solar panel and charge up my battery block and, uh, you know, a nice, there's a sink, you know, and if we were stuck in the city and I had to take a [ __ ], there is like a little composting toilet. Like it's luxe as [ __ ]. Micah is a goddamn genius and they've got a a wonderful space that I'm very happy and pleased to be sharing right now. Um, Mike asks if I'm going to Brit this year. I don't know. I I would like to. I think it'd be really fun to take Micah to the Hobo Fest. And if any of you are here and you're interested in that other aspect of my lifestyle, like you've been following my channel not for the Slab City stuff, but for like what I'm up to and what I'm doing, um, if you're interested in Hobo culture, uh, there is the Brit Iowa Hobo Festival in, uh, August, I believe. And you can look that up. And it's, it's really welcoming. It's really fun. And you learn a lot and you meet a lot of like older, like kind of retired or semi-retired hobos that were there back before we had cell phones in our pockets and, uh, other resources that make it a lot easier nowadays for folks to get information and, um, you know, pursue the hobo lifestyle, which I'm not here to to talk about much. I'm, yeah, more interested in imparting this information. If anybody has been [ __ ] supporting T D Walton, he is, he is a fake. He's a fake pastor. He's not doing the Lord's work. He's not serving anybody except for enough to make the appearance of serving people. But his true service is to himself and to skim money off of people who want to support something that is good. Um, and if you do want to support Salvation Mountain, um, I I have not prepared like a link right now, but there is, um, Salvation Mountain on Instagram. I think it's like, uh, make sure it's Ron. Ron is the curator of Salvation Mountain and he's the resident there. Um, it's not T D, it's Ron. Um, and there is the board, the Salvation Mountain board that Builder Bill is part of. So you could contact Builder Bill and he would be happy to give you some some information on that. Um, most of our community, uh, interactions for that sort of thing are done over Facebook. I have, um, I have my own Facebook community group called Slab City Current, which is, um, I moderate it and make sure people aren't posting harmful or scam links or whatever, because I know most everybody. And if there's somebody that I don't know that lives in Slabs, I can easily verify who they are through my own contacts. Um, so Slab City Current is a really good one to go on. Um, and I think Salvation Mountain might have its own, uh, Facebook account too. Um, that's that's my bad for not getting the proper links before the stream, but I had to just get this out while I'm still fired up about it because I found this out, I think yesterday, and I've kind of been just like stewing over it since then and mulling this over because I knew it. I [ __ ] knew it. And I didn't have the confirmation yet. So I've been mad about this for a while and I've been aware that this has been going on for a while, but I didn't know exactly how to to verify it at that point. But now a lot of other people who are in Slabs right now, currently, and are in the loop, are aware of this and have confirmed it. So now I can have this talk and make people aware without just being like, oh, here's what I think, but I can't prove it or quantify it. This is a fact. Um, and and I'm mad about it.

Uh, they've made it harder and harder to find out where BLM land is. And that's a coordinated attack on the homeless by the US government. Um, so if anybody figures out how to find out where BLM land is quickly now that the the usual apps have been, um, taken down, let me know. Uh, cuz at this point, it's kind of like you get information where you can. And that's kind of how we're in the spot that we're in now, which is gorgeous. Um, and we're going to do a little bit more scouting today and trying to find a nice campsite. But, um, anyway, there's, there's more than enough BLM land between you and Slabs that you could spend the rest of the summer in very beautiful, very comfortable places before you settle into Slabs. Josh says, you're the only source of information I trust when it comes to the Slabs. That's that's awesome. I think that I'm like the largest platform that has access to reliable Slab City information. Um, but there are definitely a lot of people that I trust and talk to that live in Slabs year round, that are in Slabs right now. Um, and there's, you know, the the aforementioned Facebook group, Slab City Current, where many of those people post. And there is a couple of other Slab City pages that I I do frequent and would, uh, encourage using for folks. But I don't want to just like shout them out cuz I don't know how they feel about that. And also, there's like varying levels of like permissible content on those that is less trustworthy because it's not as heavily vetted as my group is. So, you know, if you want to join that, there is a group question where you have to answer. But, and, and of course, the rules are, you know, you're not going to be posting if you don't live in Slabs and you have nothing of value to contribute to the conversation. But it's okay to lurk and it's okay to comment as long as you're respectful. Um, but yeah, there's, there's a few Facebook groups that are by and for slabbers. And Dave also is a good source of, uh, insight into that, as he's been enjoying frequenting Slabs for a while as well. And he's part of those Facebook groups. Um, and there's another few people. Zigg is is, um, a pretty reliable, uh, source of information, though I know he doesn't do a lot. I mean, well, you know, there there's a lot of community members that aren't as, um, large as me online that are also good sources of of intel and information. But don't blow those people up if they don't want to get blown up, okay? Um, I I like to give kind of the cliff notes version after I've like kind of gotten a full picture of what's happening and then I can tell you guys so that you don't have to do all that work sleuthing and figuring [ __ ] out from a distance. You don't have to be armchair sleuths. You can, if you want, but like, you know, like I said earlier in the stream, you got to keep in mind that you only have so much information as somebody that hasn't been there and doesn't have the connections that a lot of people do. I use minerals maps to, oh, hey, thank you, Miss Jip Maker. I appreciate that. Minerals maps to identify BLM, private, and NFS land. Great. Love it. Mineral Maps. I'm going to remember that. T D Walton money scam, representing Salvation Mountain. He does not represent Salvation Mountain. Never has. Never moved a single thing at Salvation Mountain to help. I have personally gone and helped at Salvation Mountain a couple of times, moving clay, pushing shovels. I'm not going to act like I've done a lot for it. I've just gone and done my duty as a community member to help a little bit. Um, and and I'm happy to do that and I'll do it again. Um, T D has not done any of that. He has misrepresented Salvation Mountain. He has accepted money on behalf of the board of directors for Salvation Mountain. He has posed as, um, as Leonard Knight's successor of his his project. He is not. And he has also been representing himself as being in Slabs for longer that he has too. He was literally my neighbor for like half a season, I want to say, five years ago. He got run out, physically run out by three young men, had his ass beat because he was creeping on women and physically walked out of town. And everyone was very glad to see it. Everyone loved it because he's a piece.

Yeah, honestly, the only way that T could make it right is if he turned over money to Salvation Mountain, made a public apology, and left Slab City entirely or moved to a new camp and started an actual soup kitchen that he actually works at and actually puts funds into. That would be the only right thing to do. But he won't do that because he isn't right with God. And he won't get right with God because he doesn't know God because he's devoid of morality. The only type of person that would do something like that is completely dead inside. Um, and I I don't know if there is any saving somebody like that. Sorry to say. Maybe some of y'all have more faith than I do and you think that there is some type of salvation for him, but it ain't Salvation Mountain, that's for damn sure. And it ain't Slab City.

If anybody in chat finds a link to, um, Builder Bill or Salvation Mountain, um, or I think Ron, uh, Ron's on Instagram is like Salvation Mountain Ron or Ron Salvation Mountain or no, it's Salvation Mountain Man. That's right. Just under different names. And, you know, now that I'm thinking about it, I've never confirmed that that is in fact Ron. Um, so maybe be careful with that one. I need to make sure that I personally confirm that Salvation Mountain Man on Instagram is actually Ron and not T posing as Ron. Um, so, yeah, actually, um, now that we know all of this, we have to be really careful about like vetting links and, um, accounts associated with Salvation Mountain. Um, because like I know I know Ron's, um, account on Facebook and I've I've chatted with him over Facebook a few times and like that is confirmed. But I actually, now that I'm, now that I'm thinking critically here, I I have not done any such confirmation about the Instagram one. Um, and there actually was a similar situation with me, uh, and Aurora a couple years ago where a person posed as, um, to the public as Slab City Library and created a Slab City Library Instagram account, which was mostly used for smearing me personally and like doxing other people that were volunteering and helping out at the library as well, which is extremely [ __ ] up. Um, so I know how that goes where there's a good community service, there are [ __ ] bags in the [ __ ] you know, in the in the underground in the in wait lying to lying in wait to take advantage of those operations as much as they can.
Can I identify a Salvation Army and ring a bell? Hell yeah, you can, dude. Do it. 104 will rewatch from beginning. It's, you know, the whole thing is in the description. TD Walton is a [ __ ] scammer. He does not work for Salvation Mountain. Never has. And has a history of other scams. I rode through through other City, no different from slabs without YouTubers made public. May even be less friendly than slabs. Rode into slabs 2017. May go back someday. That's awesome. Hell yeah. Mischief Maker. And if anybody in chat, I know it's a long shot. I asked earlier, but if anybody has donated online to what they thought was Salvation Mountain, um, I I want to see like come forward. Even if it's just like one person, like wave. You're not going to get shamed. Um, nobody's going to [ __ ] with you. Uh, I just want I just want to know if anybody in chat has been scammed by T. And on Facebook, he goes by TD, but like in every time that I've met him, he was going by T. Um, and he's got some wingnut [ __ ] description of why he goes by that now. It's very weird. Um, and frankly creepy. Is the diversion of funds so large that the reason why the mountain is in such disrepair? It could be. It very well could be because I know for a fact around the world there are tons of people who are interested in helping to preserve the mountain. And their public relations online are not super great. They don't have like, you know, like a a social media, um, technician or whatever, somebody that's like running their stuff on social media because a lot of them are, you know, frankly Boomers. No, no shade to the old the elders who are who are caring for the place, but they just don't know how to operate in in that capacity online. And they don't really have any sort of internet outreach. So it does leave a big open space for scammers to [ __ ] with. And that very well could be why, um, why Salvation Mountain hasn't had the funding to do basic repairs. They used to have like two tractors that would do a lot of the big moving. Um, but the one tractor is is in really bad condition. I don't know if it runs. And if it does, it's just barely. Like they're barely making it by. And, you know, Bill does so much community work and he he barely has what he needs too. And he's getting older. He needs support.
