How is it going everyone? The PlayStation store is running its spring sale right now. Almost forgot the name of the sale, but it is running the spring sale right now. And we've got a lot of great game deals that are live right now.
I do want you guys to remember that this is a 4-week long sale. So, it is one of those sales that they are going to cycle in deals after 2 weeks. So, uh, two weeks prior to April the 22nd. So, like around April the 8th, new deals are going to be cycling in, but these deals are also coming to an end. At least a lot of them on April the 9th. So, while some of you guys might think all the deals are ending on the 22nd alongside all of the rest of the sale, that is not the case. A lot of these deals are going to be ending on the 9th. So, just keep that in mind.
With that being said, let's get right into it and let's cover a lot of the great deals. And by the way, it really is essentially the 8th that these deals are running out on because it's uh, the 9th at 2:59 a.m. Eastern time, like right before midnight Pacific. So bear that in mind. With that being said, uh, the deals in this video are going to be under $20, a little bit more expensive. So, let's get right into it.
Gears of War Reloaded is 50% off for $19.99, which I think is a really, really good deal given that this game just came out back in August. Although that is 8 months old, but 50% off I think is pretty good. Uh, most people are going to buy this for the campaign. The Gears 1 campaign is fantastic, albeit it is a campaign that you're going to finish in what, 7 to 9 hours, like around that range. I had a great time going through it, and I'm very nostalgic when it comes to the early Gears of War title, so obviously I'm going to recommend it, but if you want to wait for it to get cheaper, by all means, do that. And, uh, if you can get a friend to play in co-op, that's great as well. So, $19.99 on that, I think, is pretty good.
Next up, you guys might be a little bit surprised with me recommending this. Look, I had said for years, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, we got to get it under $20. And hey, the base game is under $20 right now for $19.49. Uh, the complete edition is on sale. It's $45 and the From the Ashes edition are $30. This is the issue with the Ubisoft games. Even uh, now it being three and a half years since this game came out. If you want all of the content, you're still paying a pretty penny. So, you know, if you want to wait until the complete edition gets cheaper, by all means do that. But they did add a third person mode to the game, which I think is something that really does benefit the game. And I'm not a big Avatar guy, but what I really dug about the game was the ambiance, was the visuals, the soundtrack I thought was great. A lot of those elements were really well done. Um, you know, at a foundational level, this is very much a Ubisoft open world game, so keep your expectations in line. If you're into that, you'll enjoy it. If not, um, it might not be your favorite game in the world, of course, but 1949, I think, is a pretty good deal, and I wanted to give that a shout.
Next up, we have Grand Theft Auto the Trilogy, the definitive edition. 1979 on this. Uh, this gets you Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and San Andreas. Uh, these games are an iconic part of the PlayStation 2 era of games. A lot of you guys probably grew up playing them. And if you didn't grow up playing them, but you want to go back and see what all the fuss is about, go back and play these. Obviously, you know, they'll have a little bit of dated elements to them for sure. And this remastered upgraded collection had some issues, but they're still three classic games, and I would say for 1979, it's a pretty good pickup. I also do find some of the older GTA games to get pretty challenging. Uh, so keep that in mind as well.
Uh, next up, we got Star Wars Jedi Crossgen Bundle, $15.99. Now, you can pick up Jedi Survivor Standalone on PS5 for $10.49. This gets you Jedi Survivor on PS4 and PS5 and then it gets you Jedi Fall in Order on PS4 and PS5. If you buy Jedi Survivor on PS4, you don't get upgraded to the PS5 version and vice versa. The PS5 version doesn't get you the PS4 version. So, the most effective way to get both versions of Jedi Survivor if you want to like double dip on trophies, I don't know, uh, is to get this crossgen bundle. Uh, I love these games. Jedi Fall in Order is great. Jedi Survivor is even better in my opinion. Some people did like Fall in Order's story better. Uh, I like uh, Survivor Story a lot. So, um, yeah, I love both of these games. This has really become one of my favorite franchises in all of gaming, the Jedi titles. And I can't wait for the third game, even though uh, based on talking to my boys that are Star Wars nerds. I don't know. I might not be all too enthralled with what happens by the end, but uh, we'll see. We'll see. Jedi Crossgen bundle for $15.99. Great deal there.
Then we got the Near titles. Near Automa Game of the YHA edition is $15.99 and Near Replican is on sale for $17.99. These are fantastic, fantastic games. Near Automa is an excellent game and really elevated Near as a franchise, but Near Replicant is a really solid game as well. Near Replican is really well done. Both of these games have phenomenal soundtracks. The soundtracks in these games are just outstanding and I have tracks from both games just regularly on my phone that I listen to. Uh, they're great from that standpoint. Narratively, they can be a little bit difficult to follow, but I feel like if you go through them and you really pay attention, they come together very nicely by the end. And uh, you know, rumblings have it that near is not done yet. You know, we had a little bit of a uh, quiet period with the focus on the mobile title and all that nonsense, but hopefully a new mainline Near title will be coming in the near future. So, uh, be on the lookout for that. But for now, Automa and Replican, both great deals there.
Mafia the Trilogy is 80% off for $1.99. If you guys know me, you know I love Mafia as a franchise. Mafia a lot of the times is what I like out of gaming. My singleplayer focused narrative driven games that aren't 85 hours long. Although Mafia 3 does have a sizable amount of content, but Mafia 1 and 2 are really to the point narrative driven action titles and I think they're really well done. Are they a bit basic from a gameplay standpoint? Yeah, Mafia 1, like as a third person shooter, it's totally fine. It's not anything blow, but it's serviceable. And I just think for the content in the game and the core mechanics, all of that come together nicely with the narrative. And I enjoy these games quite a lot. Outside of the racing section in Mafia 1, you know, Hangar 13, you y'all got to throw the towel in on that one because Old Country didn't have the best racing section in the world either. But uh, nevertheless, the Mafia trilogy here for $1.99 is a really good pickup.
Then we've got Divinity Original Sin 2.499 on this. Obviously, a lot of you guys are now familiar with Laurian because of Boulders's Gate 3, but they did great work in Divinity Original Sin 2 as well. Divinity Original Sin 2 was actually a game that I personally got more into than Boulders Gate 3. Boulders Gate 3 I didn't I don't know. I got to go back and give it another shot, of course, but um, I didn't really resonate with that game as much. But Divinity I thought was pretty well done. It's a game that really once again does leave you to your own devices. So, you know, it's a game for you to figure out and there's a lot of depth to the game as well. Narratively quite strong and mechanically again a lot of depth to it as well. $15 on that. Pretty good deal there.
Then we've got Dying Light 2: Stay Human. $14.99 on this. I like Dying Light 2 quite a lot. Um, I don't think it's as good as Dying Light 1. And wow, there, dude, what a hot take. Yeah, obviously it's not as good as Dying Light 1, but I still think it's a rather good game. I still think the exploration and the parkour gameplay is so well done. And I think from that standpoint, it's very much worthwhile to play through. Narratively, it starts off, I thought, incredibly compelling in the first half and then in the second half, it totally falls off a cliff. Like, I don't know what was going on in the second half, but yeah, they got cooked as far as that's concerned. But, you know, for the most part, I still really did enjoy the game and I would definitely say it's worth a pickup.
Couple Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy 15, the Royal Edition is $13.99. I like Final Fantasy 15. I can't say I love it because I had such an immense amount of hype and anticipation leading up to this game, man. I can't believe this year will be a decade since this game dropped. I remember I actually was able to play this game ahead of the release date because I was able to finagle a physical copy of this game ahead of Street Date. Um, you know, don't ask me how, but uh, nonetheless, man, I was so excited. I paid an egregious amount of money to get that physical copy as well. It was ridiculous. But Final Fantasy 15 was a game that absolutely had its issues. Uh, but I still think there's something good here. And one of my buddies described Final Fantasy 15 the best that I've seen anybody describe it. And that's there's a skeleton of a really good game here. But that's the issue. It's just not fleshed out in so many areas. Narratively, it is so disjointed. However, the Royal Edition does connect some things a little bit better, but man, the pacing in the game is very questionable. Uh, and even a lot of the content, man, the open world is gorgeous, but a lot of the content is not all that engaging. But I still think as an open world, this road trip, gorgeous visuals, great soundtrack. I still think it's a fun playthrough and I would certainly recommend it for $1399. I I just wish that Well, it would be great if this game got like a director's cut release. It would never happen. I don't think it's ever going to happen, but it's unfortunate because I think there was so much potential there. And I still remember, you know, as a 10, 11-year-old watching the Versus 13 trailer back in 2006. And it's unfortunate that this is how the game ended up being, but uh, still a quality game here uh that is enjoyable.
Uh, next up, Final Fantasy 7 remake is $15.19. It's the kickoff to the Final Fantasy remake trilogy. 7 remake trilogy. It's really good. Not as good as Rebirth. Definitely has its shortcomings. And uh, you know, taking the Midgar section and uh, making it a 30 to 35 hour RPG certainly has its issues, but it's still a very, very good game. I still very much enjoyed it. And you got to play this before playing Rebirth. So, it is what it is.
Dead Space Remake is $1049. It's always going to be one of the best deals across any of the sales that PlayStation Store is going to run whenever this deal is available. Dead Space Remake is awesome. Uh, really well done remake of a game that I loved back in 2008. But man, from a visual standpoint, gameplay standpoint, content standpoint, they do a great job of revitalizing and upgrading the game. Unfortunately, Dead Space going back right on the bench. And I don't know what's going to happen with that IP. Probably nothing. So, it is what it is.
Tetris Effect connected is $19.99. If you're a Plus subscriber, you save an additional 5% and you'll get it for $17.99. Tetris Effect is one of those games that is really held up in price. So, you're going to be remissed to get this for a cheaper price point. But Tetris Effect is one of those games that I think is so enjoyable and very much worth the premium price point. It's one of those games that uh, if you have a long day at work and you just come home and want to kick back and relax, Tetris Effect is a really good one. Soundtrack is awesome. Visuals and aesthetics are great. $17.99 or 1999. Good pickup there.
Then we do have Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. $17.99. Now, this game is for more of the people that are caught up with the Like a Dragon titles. Uh, Majima is the main character, which Majima having his own game is great, beloved character in the Yakuza franchise. And it's funny to me that so many people want to say that RGG is cooked. And it's like, dude, they put out Pirate Yakuza just a year ago. This game came out in 2025. And was it amazing? No. But as a spin-off title, I thought it was really, really good. Naval combat I thought worked pretty well and the gameplay was well done. And you know, Majima at the helm of the story, I just thought was really well done. And then, you know, RGG just unveiled more content for Stranger Than than Heaven and that game looks really good. So, uh, dude, I'm not here to write them off after one bad outing or one mediocre outing, however you want to perceive. Kami 3. Pirate Yakuza was really good and at this price point, $17.99, you kidding me? It's a great deal.
And lastly, we have Shinobi Art of Vengeance. $17.99 on this. Uh, Shinobi Art of Vengeance is a great game that I wish more people would check out. It is such a great throwback to action platformers, but at the same time modernized, and that's what this studio has figured out. They really have figured out a way, and they did this with Streets of Rage 4 as well, to pay respect to old school classics while also uplifting the visuals, modernizing some of the mechanics, and having the best of both worlds. And I thought Art of Vengeance did that really well. I will say some of the platforming was absolutely infuriating and did make me damn near break my controller, but for the most part, excellent game. Would highly recommend it. And for $17.99, I think it's a good pickup given that it is still a relatively recent release.
But that's going to do it for me. Again, these games a little bit more on the expensive side of things, but great deals nonetheless. And check them out. Links to all of them in the description box below. That'll do it for me. Let me know all of your thoughts in the comments section down below. Sound off there. Thank you for watching and goodbye.
