Well, my title is the comfort zone that kills you. You said amen too early. I got you. I got you. I tricked [snorts] you. No. You're like, "Ooh." Uh, the comfort zone that kills you. We're in the Sermon on the Mount still until August, and uh, we're going to jump to the very end of it to a very famous passage at the end. But, I want to point out some, I had some illumination this week while reading this passage. I love that about the Bible and about the word of the Lord. The more you sit with it, the more you learn. You don't, if you don't, you know, if you don't say, "I've learned everything I need to learn," you learn something new almost every time. It's amazing.
So, let's read it. Matthew 7:24-27 says this. This is at the very end of the sermon. This is how he finishes it out. He says, "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and help me." What does it say? "Does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house, but it did not fall because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and help me, does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."
The main issue, my friends, is not hearing the word or avoiding the storms. It's doing the word. Okay? We, what are the, what are we going after all the time? We're trying to hear God. We're trying to get a word from the Lord. Trying to get a direction, you know? I'm like, I'm over here. I'm, I'm just, I got a Baptist backbone. I'm like, "You need a word of the Lord here. Just catch." You know, there's so many words in here. Okay? Like I did a viral TikTok. It was that ding dong thing. And it was said like at the, if you know it, then you know it. But, it was like, if you, "I need a word from the Lord," and I crashed into the room and I picked up my Bible and it went ding-dong, like, "Hello, knocking on the door of your heart right here. Here's the word of the Lord." Amen? I mean, just Matthew 5:37, there's plenty to do. Hello? Hello. Okay.
So, we do not have a hearing problem. We have a doing problem. We have a doing problem. And many think they need to hear something new or fresh or something revelatory. No. No. You need to be found doing the last word you heard. I'll say it for this side of the room. You don't need a new word from the Lord. You need to be found doing the last word you heard. You need to be found doing it. You need to be discovered, "Oh, there they are doing what God said." You know what it does? It attracts more direction from God. [laughter] That's what it does. It's a stewardship thing. It's like, "Wow, they're doing what I told them to do. I'm going to tell them more." And you're like, "I need a word. I need a..." No, you need to go do the last word you heard. Be found doing it. We can all hear God. Many of us don't even realize we're hearing God half the time. We think it's just us, but God speaks in the language of you. He speaks to you through your spirit, through your brain, into your psyche. Hello? It's Him speaking, but it's your, like the canvas, right? If you think of one of these canvases over here, like one of these paintings, if God were painting on that painting, right? Painting on the canvas, but the canvas was ripped and had holes in it, would you see the correct picture? No. But would the painter be the problem? No, it's the canvas. We have to make sure we are not only hearing, but doing, displaying. Hello? That's what artwork does. It displays the work of the artist. Are you hearing me? Yeah? We, we need to make sure that we're not just hearing and not doing. That's obvious from the passage, but I want to take you to James chapter 1:19-25 because it gets even clearer here. It says, "Know this, my beloved brothers, let every person be quick to quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger, for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore, put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." Hello? For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and per- person- I'm sorry. Perseveres, being no hearer who forgets, but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. We're like, "Bless me, Lord. Bless me, Lord. Bless me, Lord. Bless me, Lord. Bless me, Lord. Bless me, Lord." He's like, "Do something that I can bless. I told you what to do, you start doing it, I'll bless it." We're like, "Bless my finances. Bless my finances." Give something and I can bless it. Bless my workplace. Bless my... Show up as a good employee and I'll bless it. We're like, "God's going to change things around here." No, He sent you to do it. Hello?
Here's the problem. We're over-taught and under-deployed in the church. We are over-taught and under-deployed. We are allowed to stay in our comfort zone, and that's what's killing us. We are over-taught and under-deployed. You have more word in you than all 12 of the, the apostles. I'm right about that. You just think about it for two seconds, you'll find out I'm right. You do. If you spent three weeks in church, you probably have more word in you that I can tell you, you definitely have more word in you than the guy who was full of demons, got those demons kicked out, he had a legion of them in there. He puts on clothes and then God said, Jesus says, "Who is God? Go preach. Go." And he says, "Let me follow you." He said, "No, go to the Decapolis, the point of 10 cities, the hub of 10 cities." That dude went with a testimony and a shirt. Okay? And you're over here having excuses. What was he saying? He said, "I used to beat myself with rocks and growl at people, and now I don't." How did that happen? "Jesus came and delivered me." That's what happened. He can deliver you, too. That's literally his whole, that's all he had to say. You got more word in you than that guy. I wonder if he's more effective than you are. I wonder which one is being more effective. I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to help you, but if it hurting you helps you on the way, I'll hurt you. It's like a doctor. I'm going to cut in order to get it out. Hello? The apathy.
Building a house on the rock, what does that mean? That means the rock dictates the position of the house. The rock tells you where the house goes. Okay? Like this house here, you wouldn't build that on the edge of that rock. Right? 'Cause it's not smart, you can just walk out your door and fall out, right? >> [snorts] >> You build it where it makes sense. The rock actually dictates the position of the house. But, what is building your house on sand? That's giving you the ability to determine the position of the house. 'Cause you can reshape that sand. You can make it look like whatever you want. Like, "Oh, oh, that's my dream right there, Caleb." You just said my dream. I know you live in Florida, I'm coming for you. The insurance company's already giving you problems, so why not me, right? Come on. Now, beachfront property, all these things, like there's a reason. Hello, are we okay? We're mad? Okay. How mad are we? All right.
Building a house on sand, you determine the position of the house. But, let me ask you something. What is sand? What is it? It's little pieces of rock. Hello? It can be molded and shaped to whatever you desire. This is a picture of taking the word of the Lord and breaking it down to something manageable. >> [snorts] >> This is a picture of taking what God said and molding it to your preferences. I mean, there's a nice little cabana in there. I know, I know I see your Facebook feeds. Y'all love the cabanas. Look at this. It's like so pretty. Look at that castle. There's a pool. You can't miss, you know. But, this is a picture of not taking the word of the Lord as He gave it, but breaking it apart into manageable shapes and sizes to position ourselves however we see fit. We're doing the stuff. Look at all the God stuff. Look at all the stuff. Our problem is not hearing the word, it's reshaping what we hear to fit our preferences. Did you hear what I just said? Your problem's not hearing. Your problem is reshaping what you hear to fit your preferences. That happens a few different ways. We're going to get into it. But, what happens to the house built on the rock? Because storms are promised. Did you know that? "In this world, you will have trouble. You will have tribulation." It's going to get hard. We can't avoid the storms of life. We're actually, it's one of the promises of God. He said, even said, "Don't even worry about tomorrow. Today sucks all by itself." That's a paraphrase. That's Caleb's version, sorry. That's the news, NCB, the new Caleb Bible. I don't know. All right. He said >> [laughter] >> It's not an authorized translation, all right? It's a paraphrase, all right? He said, "Don't even worry about tomorrow. Don't be anxious for tomorrow. Today has enough trouble of its own." That's what He said. And He said, "In this world you will have tribulation, but take heart. I have overcome the world." So, the storms can't be avoided. They can just be weathered. But what happens to this situation right here? When that storm hits, the promises of God hit, and bang, you're mad at God. This is a picture of the promises of God coming to fruition towards someone who broke His word into manageable pieces and shaped it to their preferences. The reason we don't do the word is not laziness. It's that we've already broken it into something more comfortable we can live with. That's why we're not actually doing what He said. We already done, we've already messed it up by breaking it up into small pieces that are manageable. What does that actually look like? You're like, "What are you talking about, Caleb?" Well, here's what that looks like. I don't think the common thing is total disregard for what God said. I don't think believers, Christians are commonly totally disregarding what God said. I'll give you an example. It's like, God said, you know, "Don't lust in your heart, right?" I don't think anyone reacts to that going, "I'm going to go lust now." I, I, I find any believer who's like, "Here's Thou shalt not, you know, and then go, I'm going to go do it." No. No, no, no, that's not how it happens. The more common thing is we break down what lust is or it isn't. We categorize it. We make categories out of it. We create separate aspects of lust and make one not as bad as the other. We break it down. And we manage it. You go, "Well, it's not that. It's just this." I was just having a conversation, a very honest conversation with a, a very prominent leader who was telling me, "It's like I got to confess. I, I just, 'cause it wasn't the this, I was not calling it this, but it is." I'm like, "You're right." You're right. It is that. And he's like, and he's like, "I repent." That's sand. We don't, we take things like, uh, "Don't be even angry with your brother, it's the same as murder in your heart." That's out of the Sermon on the Mount. It's the same as murder. And we categorize anger. We say, "Well, there's, I was justified in my anger." There's justified anger. There's righteous anger. That one, we use that one all the time. All of my anger feels righteous. I don't know. I've never had an anger like, "This feels like unrighteous anger." I've never felt that. Has anyone? >> [laughter] >> Everybody feels righteous in their anger, right? But the anger of man does not produce the what? Righteousness of God. James 1, I just read it. And we categorize justifying anger or we, we say this one. Here we go. "Oh, I was just, I was just venting." I can't find the allowance for venting in the scriptures. That's a breaking the word into manageable, moldable, understandable sand. You mad at me or convicted? I can't tell sometimes. Your faces are hard to read. You know what I mean? But the reason we don't do the word is it not laziness, it's that we've already broken it into something more comfortable that we can live with. We see this anywhere in the scriptures. Do we see this in the narrative of the church? I'm glad you're asking great questions. Yes, we do. I'm so glad you asked that question. Acts chapter 21, verse 1 through 15, we see an actual example of this in the Bible. So, makes me feel better when I see my own mess in the pages. You know what I'm saying? Anybody else? Like, "Oh, it's not just me. It's those guys, too." Anybody? No? Okay, all right. >> [laughter] >> Makes me feel better.
So, this is a long passage. I'm just going to read it and then we'll walk through it. So, said this is Paul speaking of his journeys. He said, "When we had parted from them and set sail, we came by a straight course to Cos. Because, you know, I don't know. And the next day to Rhodes and there from there to Patara and having found a ship crossing to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail. When we had come in the sight of Cyprus, leaving it in the leaving it on the left, we sailed to Syria and landed at Tyre. For there the ship was to unload its cargo cargo." Does that sound spiritual to anybody at all? But, it is. It's just like, we're just trying to, we put the thing on our left and we set course, we did it. We're just going. Because Paul was actually on an assignment. God told him he was to go to Jerusalem. So, he's making his way there. That's the context. It says, "And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days and through the Spirit they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem." You read that? It says, "Through the Spirit." This is not a paraphrase. This is the English Standard Version. "Through the Spirit they were telling Paul not to go to Jerusalem." We're going to deal with that in just a second. And then it says, "When our days were ended, we departed and went on our journey. And they all with wives and children accompanied us until they were outside the city. And kneeling down on the beach, haha, saying, we prayed and said farewell to one another. Then we went on board the ship and they returned home. When we had finished from the voyage, the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at, I don't know, Patara. And we greeted the brothers and stayed with them for one day. On the next day we departed and came to Caesarea. And we entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with them. He had four unmarried daughters who prophesied. Who says women can't speak in church? Hello. While we, I'm doing a lot of work here today. While we were staying for many days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. Say Agabus. And coming to us, he took Paul's belt and bound his own feet and hands and said, 'Thus says the Holy Spirit, this is how the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.' When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, 'What are you doing weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.' And since he would not be persuaded, we ceased and said, 'Let the will of the Lord be done.' After these days, we got ready and finally went up to Jerusalem."
If you go back to Acts 21:4, this is so interesting. "Having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days, and through the Spirit, they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem." Well, there's, this has been hotly debated in the history of the church, this phrase "through the Spirit." It's "dia tou pneumatos," and I think I said that right. Hallelujah. But the whole debate starts here. The preposition "dia," like diameter, with a genitive can actually mean direct agency. Are you with me? It can mean "by the Spirit" as in the Spirit is the direct source of the urging. That's what it can mean, or it can mean what's called instrumental occasion. Meaning the Spirit provided information that the people then had to act on. Okay? And the majority view, the majority scholarly view, this is my view as well, is that they had an accurate prophecy with inaccurate human application. Sound familiar? Okay. The, there's a lot about this I could read, but, um, one of my favorites, F.F. Bruce, he's of this position. Other guys, Darrell Bock, Howard Marshall, if you want to do your own research, a guy named Richard Longnecker. I can only guess what he looks like. Uh, he believes this. Uh, David Guzik, yeah, anyway. But, these are widely renowned scholars who hold this position. I'm saying that, yeah, I'm sorry. >> [laughter] >> The spirit, I should be called Caleb Longhairer, I don't know. The Spirit revealed what would happen. Amen? The Spirit revealed there's going to be suffering, arrests. The believers drew their own human conclusion. Therefore, he shouldn't go, right? The second move was theirs. It was not the Spirit. So, there's an inaccurate inference from the message. The Christians at Tyre were being led by the Spirit to foresee it. They were, the Spirit was showing them. Yeah, this is going to happen, but they, on their own accord, urged him not to go. So, the additional word, uh, even from Agabus, was not of the Lord. Otherwise, Paul would have been disobedient in going. Does that make sense? We do this all the time. [groaning] All the time. And it's the comfort zone that kills us. We think, "Well, yeah, I know God said, but this is what I think He meant." I know God said that, but I mean, look at, look at, look at the resources available to me. I know God said go do this, do it that way, but that's, it's hard. I don't know how to do it. What did Paul do? He's like, "Uh, put that place on the left. We're going to go this way." And then, uh, get in the boat again. And you, okay, you unload the boat. Okay, stay with these people. All right. Like, the journey was just like kind of crazy, but the mission was the same. Listen to me. You need to marry the mission and date the methods, but you can't reinterpret the word of the Lord to fit your preferences when stuff gets hard. That's the comfort zone that kills you. It's one step away from death because the word is promised, and so are the storms. You hear what I'm saying? If you build that way, you will die. And you're avoiding discomfort and choosing death. You're avoiding the difficulty of life. There's a big rock. I don't know. We, we, we can only do one thing with that. We can't move it. We can't adjust it. We can't, we can't change it. Well, I'd like the sun to hit this side of the rock and the house. The sun's going to come up and down. Like, you can't change the orientation of that thing. Are you with me? And Jesus is the word. Jesus is the rock. Changing this to this is making God in our image, not being made in His. That's saying, "Okay, I know Your name is the Word, but I'm going to, I'm going to have to process this word with some people. I got some godly counsel." Said, "Well, brother, I know God said, but we can't do it. We don't have this. We don't have that. We don't have this." That stuff ticks me off. That layer of conversation, I've had it this week with people. I'm being careful. Okay? I've had it. I've had it this week. I've had this, I'm not saying I've had it with these people. I'm saying I've had this conversation with people. Okay? The Lord said ABC. I haven't heard something new. It's just hard to do it. And it's difficult. I mean, that means we're going to still try ABC. And just like Paul said, "I'm not ready only to get arrested. I'm ready to die on the word of the Lord. I'd rather be cast upon the rock than the rock fall on me. I'd rather be thrown on the cornerstone of Jesus looking like an idiot than trip over it and become a stumbling block myself. I do not relent when I hear the word of the Lord, and if you do, you're asking for death. The storms are, do you hear what I'm saying? The storms are coming. And God has made a path for you to be preserved. It's His word. You shape it into your own, you are killing yourself. You're asking for everything you're building to die. You're asking for everything you're doing to wash away. This is in our personal lives, too. Like, God said, 'You better.' I know God said, but I just can't. No, you're just dead. It needs to be like that. Did you hear what, did you read the same passage I read? Like, this is what Jesus said happens to those people. This. That's what He said. It's not my opinion. That's what He said. You think we should listen to Jesus? And deal with the discomfort of being zealous for the word of the Lord? And I'm not talking about your interpretation. Hear me, man. People fight for their understanding of the Bible way more than they fight for the word of the Lord. Okay. We idolize how we understand the word or what we thought it meant way more than what it says. We're not even willing to look at the truth. And I've been in these conversations. [laughter] Like, here's what it says. Here's what you're saying it says. Well, I don't agree. And I say, "Why?" And they say, "I just don't see it that way." I say, "Why?" And they say, "Because I don't." I say, "Why? Why? Tell me why. Give me a good reason to see it any differently." There's no good reason. It's just preference. It's idol worship. It's self-worship. We need to take the Sermon on the Mount seriously and actually apply the teachings. Can I get an amen? Like, actually do it. Like, we spend this whole year in the Sermon on the Mount, and none of us do anything different? What a waste of 12 months. I wasted all my time. I don't know how much of your time you think you wasted, but that's a waste. Do not be hearers, but doers. We need to take the Sermon on the Mount seriously. We also need to take the prophetic word of the Lord over our life and apply it. And just be found doing it. Listen to me. Do it imperfectly. Do it confused. Do it doubting. Do it concerned. Do it like not able to explain even why you're doing it, but do it. Don't reshape it to something you can do. That's not God. You want to see God do something, you got to do what God said to do. Is that, I know that's so simple, but we need to wake up. We need to get on the boat. Some of us have taken journeys. We're like, "Well, I don't even know why I'm in Tampa. I don't even know why I'm with this. I don't even know why I'm not..." Just keep going after what God said. It's going to be fine. It's going to make sense if you stay after the word of the Lord. But if you go, "You know what? I might, and let's, let's rethink this." Death sentence. I love Pastor Lynn, one of my pastors. He says to me, "Is that what God said exactly?" What did He say exactly? What? Tell me the words. This word, that word, this word. What did God say? God said, "One place, one accord." That's [snorts] what we're doing. Amen? Fire code's an issue. All this stuff's an issue. People don't like the cross saying that. Yeah, all those things are real. Yeah, but God said, "One place." And this place opened their doors. Donating it. Just saying, "Go for it." Not even taking an offering for themselves. One place, one accord. It's a way to do the word of the Lord. I'm going to be found doing the word of the Lord. I don't know about you. I'm just going to do it. There's so many examples. I don't have time. I could, I could share. I'll share quickly that the, I was, oh man, should I share that? Help me, Lord. Yes, I feel like a green light to share it. I've got two, I'm going to take two extra minutes here. When I was, uh, it was years ago, over, almost, it'll be 11 years this, um, this year. Is it 11 years this year? Yeah, anyway. Um, I was in Israel for the first time and I was in this whole moment with God where my first wife had left me. She left me for someone else and it was terrible and I was on this whole six-month no dating thing and I just was at the Jordan River and, uh, George Banoff was preaching about the crossing of the Jordan, Joshua, "Everywhere you tread your foot will be yours," all that stuff. And it was a great message about having influence in the land. Not in like name it and claim it stuff, but like being an influencer, like putting down roots. Like I live in Brandon so I care about Brandon 'cause I have a house in Brandon, you know? Like that. And he was like, "Pray for that. Pray for houses. Pray for one another." And I'm over here going like, "God, I couldn't give two rips about a house, an inheritance, any of that stuff. I want a wife." You know what I'm saying? I'm like, "I am not able to do this. All right, I am not okay by myself." I turn around, there's these two, some of you heard this story. There's these two, uh, ladies, one little Japanese lady named Janie Sudduth. And, um, I told her, I was like, "Can I, can you all pray for me to have a wife?" You know, I felt kind of awkward. But they were like swooning like, "Here's this." Oh, they don't know anything about my story. They're just like, "Oh, it's wonderful. This single guy in a big guitar in the thing. Oh, yeah." You know. >> [laughter] >> And I'm just like dying on the inside. And then they grab my hands and Janie, I'll never forget this, she said, "Thank you, God." First thing out of her mouth, "Thank you, God." She knows nothing. "Thank you, God, You're going to bring him a holy partner who will never forsake him." I'm like, I literally fall down. I hit my head on the concrete. Winnie Banov comes over thinking there's blood 'cause she heard my skull bounce. She really did. Okay. And then she figures out, she goes, "Oh, he's okay. It's fine." They tell her what's going on. She goes, and Winnie breaks all the rules, you go, >> [laughter] >> And she goes, she goes, "Ah, she's beautiful. She's spicy. She's a gypsy. She's colorful. She's a worshiper. She's so very, very close." I wrote it down. And that's exactly what she said. And listen, I got up from the ground. I could have really mucked it up >> [clears throat] >> with my interpretation. "Oh, you say she's close. Where is she?" >> [snorts] >> "There's two buses." [clears throat] "Maybe she's on the other bus." "Oh, oh, oh, she's close. Oh, who am I emotionally close to right now? Oh, who am I emotionally, who's emotionally close to me? What single women are emotionally close to me?" Just as creepy. Just as creepy. Just a little more hidden, but just as creepy. You know. But you know what it was? I wrote it down. I wrote it down. I had said, "Yes, Lord." It was chronologically close. 10 days later from that moment, 10 days later, I walked into a Power and Love conference and I met this Puerto Rican, 5'0, maxi dress wearing, flowers in her hair, blonde and black dreadlocks worshiper. And in 48 hours, like, "You're the one. We're the one." We knew. Seriously. That's how it happened. We're married with three children. She's the mother of my children. She's right there. Jamar is right there. >> [applause] >> But God said she's close. You're close. So let's just do the thing. You see what I'm saying? Sand. Sand. Is that what God said, or is that what I understood based on what He said? You have to ask the question. Slow down enough to actually evaluate that. Is that what God said, or is that what I understood? Is that what God said, or is that what I reshaped to fit my preferences? Some of us are mad at God based on His not coming through. No, your interpretation of His word didn't come through. And you're blaming Him for the, for the chaos. One is a firm foundation. The other is a comfort zone that kills you. Here's James 1:22. One more time out of the Passion, it says, "Don't just listen to the word of truth and not respond to it, for that is the essence of self-deception." So always let His word become like poetry written and fulfilled by your life. Amen. Amen. Hope that was helpful. Welcome up Pastor Jake as he comes to close us out today. Yeah. As many times as I've read that passage and heard someone teach on it, it never gets old. Um, I'll be [music] quick. I, I actually just want to tell one more practical story. Um, if y'all don't know me, I, I have a business buying and selling LEGO and I, I predominantly [music] sell it through a platform called Whatnot. It's an app. And that app, I came in when it was like maybe a year and a half old >> [music] >> and after being on it for some time, I felt like the Lord tell, tell me, you know, He, He said, "Pivot your business towards a niche." And [music] actually Vic- Victoria Piccirilli helped me kind of process some of that. And at the time, it kind of seemed a little funny and I was a little skeptical, but I did it and now here I am two years later. What has happened is that app has rapidly expanded and there [music] are just an ocean of sellers that are on there and I've watched a lot of people that were really relevant and and could make a lot of money become very irrelevant. They've had to move out [music] of the platform altogether. And, you know, so because I heard the word of the Lord and responded to it, not only have I remained relevant, but but now I can make more money than I've ever been able to. And [music] see, if I had not listened in that moment, I mean, we're talking about my livelihood here, right? We're talking about taking care of my children [music] and my wife. So, so when we literally take the word [music] and we literally act upon it, it will bless you. It'll bless you in micro [music] ways, it'll bless you in macro ways, right? We want to be doers >> [music] >> in this family, right? We want to be doers. We want to be people who, we don't just have to speak about the word of the Lord, we're actually [music] a word from the Lord and you can see it in every aspect of who we are. So, can we [music] have our prayer team come up? I just feel like there's an invitation. Uh, what number one, here's, here's the first part of that invitation. If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, then it doesn't matter what you're doing right now. You're not building upon the rock. That's where it starts. So if that's you in this room and you've never [music] had that moment where you've genuinely surrendered your life over to Jesus Christ, please come up here and pray with one of our family members because they love you, and they [music] want to walk with you through that process, right? But, number two, I, I feel like some of you have heard the word of the Lord, and you're, you're [music] kind of in the, "I need to pivot, I need to act upon it," but maybe you're a little intimidated. And I just want to, I just [music] want to encourage you right now. Do it. Do it. Don't water it down. Don't break [music] it down. The Lord's with you. You know it's Him. Do it. Act upon the thing because [music] you're going to see, [singing] down the road when those storms come, you're not going to be disappointed. You're going to have something that you can be proud [music] of. You're going to have something that glorifies the Lord, right? So, okay. With those two things, Lord [music] Jesus, we bless You, and we say thank You for this word, Lord. I thank You that it would take [music] root in each one of us and fulfill its purpose in being released, Lord. And, uh, Lord Jesus, I just thank You that You are helping us to be [music] greater doers of Your word with Your grace, Lord. Not through striving, but Your grace, Lord. By Your Spirit, by Your strength. >> [music] >> And so, Lord, if any of those two invitations have convicted or pricked the hearts [music] of my brothers and sisters, Lord, I thank You that You strengthen them right now, Lord. Those who are pivoting, those who are giving their lives [music] to You. And so, Lord, we just say thank You for what will come out of this in Jesus' name.
