Brit Bible to Matthew 14 from verse 26-31. Matthew's Gospel chapter 14 from verse 26 to 31. I'll read one verse, you read the next. I'll read the third, you read the fourth, we'll go like that. When we go to 31, we'll read together.
And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a spirit, and they cried out for fear." Verse 26.
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, be if it be thou, bid me come to thee on the water. >> Verse 30.
when he saw but when he saw the wind burus he was afraid and beginning to sink he cried saying Lord save me let's do verse 31 together and immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him oh thou of little faith wherefore did thou doubt wherefore did thou doubt oh thou of little faith doing the unusual doing the unusual.
We are in the season of the uncommon. We are in the season of the unusual. Impossibility is God's specialty. Strange acts are his trademarks. Impossibility is God's specialty. Strange acts are his trademarks. Notable proofs are his character. Undeniable wonders are his nature. Every manifestation of God is a manifestation tied to the unusual. Acts 1:3 said, "He revealed himself by many invaluable proofs, showed himself after his passion." So the unusual is God's passion. Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing."
If you study the scripture from verse 23, the Bible said Jesus before all of this episode of him walking on the water and Peter's encounter, the Bible say he put the disciples aside, put the multitude aside, put everyone aside and went to pray. At the root of every unusual manifestation is a saturated prayer life. He put everyone aside, put the disciples, put the multitude, put everyone aside and went alone to pray. At the root of every uncommon encounter is an overwhelming intercessory culture. Until prayer is personal, the unusual can't be regular. When the only time you pray is when you come for vios, when you come for services, that is when you feel like praying. When you come for meetings, that is when you feel like praying. Then you live a normal nominal regular life. But when prayer becomes passionate and becomes personal, then the unusual, the uncommon becomes a regular event.
You must understand when they saw him walking on the water, it was strange. It was unusual. It was outstanding. And they began to make comments that were incorrect. The comments they made was a function of the mindset they have. And some of those comments and some of the reactions are not totally should not be totally abandoned because there are elements of truth there. As he was walking on the water, they screamed and said it is a spirit. Sir, there are dimensions that are reserved for spirits. There are realms that are reserved for spirits. You cannot approach them with mortality. There are dimensions that are reserved for spirits that are only accessible by you dropping this garment of mortality and switch into immortality to assess them.
Please be very attentive. In the word of God, there are four three or four things about God's word. There is God's precepts, there is God's promises, and there is God's principles. There is God's precepts. There is God's promises and there is God's principles. Many of us are tied to God's precepts. Tied to God's promises but are not hooked up to God's principles. So we become we become mockery to our generation. We know the precepts of God. We know the promise of God. We can recite the promises over and over in our lives over and over reciting the promise of God. But when it come to the principles of God, we become victims of natural life. Why? Because we don't have an understanding.
Let me give you an example. The Bible says in Matthew 11:28, hear what it says. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden. And I will do what? >> I will do what? >> I will do what? >> Oh, so many people rest on the fact that God has said, "Oh Lord, you said you will give me rest. You said you'll give me rest. You said you give me right. That is God's promise. But there is something called God's principle. >> So someone can stand on this scripture for years. He's praying on this scripture. Lord, you said come unto me all you that labor and I laden. I will give you rest. And he's praying it back to back. He's standing upon it and there are no results because he has not seen the addendum. What is connecting and activating that V? It is logos but becomes remma when activated. Then you now switch to verse 29. Are you follow I'm talking about verse 29 say take my yoke upon thee. Learn of me. I am meek and lonely and you shall find what? Rest. So rest is not a promise. It's a discovery. You shall find it. I have said is released. I have spoken about it. I have said you have it. I have said it's coming to you. I have said you enjoy rest on every side. You enjoy rest round about. But you have to discover where rest resides. And we can see three or four elements in that. Oh yeah. In preaching one message most time I end up preaching not all several messages. Someone said he gets up to five message my one message. In that scripture we can see four five elements or four elements that guarantees rest. Come to me intimacy. Come to me intimacy. It means that if you must see rest and you must find rest you must be intimate. Are you aware when Jesus when Peter saw Jesus walking Peter didn't wait on the spot he said come he activated because in spiritual matters time for is of essence are you aware are you aware that for you to enjoy biological productivity you must understand the timing of a woman nobody I'm talking about are you what I'm talking about without understanding timing Conjugal mating is a mere exercise in futility. >> Conjugal meeting is an exercise. There is something called an ovelation period. >> Am I talking to somebody here? That there is there there are openings at that time that when a man comes in something happens. You must understand in the realm of the spirit there are spiritual ovelation periods. [Applause] I wish I'm talking to somebody here that you know that at this time if I key into it something must drop. If I can key now that the anointing is heavy now that the grace is heavy when I key under this terrific atmosphere something must happen. Intimacy intimate intimate. There are there are dividends of intimacy. Intimate means to enter into mating. You are meeting and there are productivities dimensions of it. Saw a story that happened in the nation of France. A woman that gave birth to 10 children. 10 The president gave her €2 million, gave her passport, gave her 10 and she was crawling on the ground all through the pregnancy. The sto was long like that. Some of you may have seen that long like that. She was crawling crying 10 p. It was a national. Somebody said the unusual is happening in my life this season. said the unusual is happening in my life. This is I'm not saying you will give birth to 10. I'm just saying because some people are holding their mouth and they not talking. I said the unusual. Hallelujah. Somebody. Amen. He said, "Come to me all ye that labor." This is just this is not my message. I'm just trying to butress a point. He said, "And a heavy laden and I will give you rest." Take my yoke. Somebody say responsibility. >> Responsibility. >> So to find rest there must be what is service? Service is responsibility. Every prophecy that abducates principles ends up in mockery. Prophecy cannot break principles. Promises cannot break responsibility. Everyone who is a child of God must understand that in the walk with God there is a place called responsibility. Responsibility is how you respond to ability. Every one of us may know that everyone that grows up in God, everyone that grows up in the faith, there is a place. God will study scriptures for you. God will wake up at night to pray for you. God will not do many things for you. You have a place a responsibility. God will not love your brother for you. God will not love your neighbor for you. There is something called responsibility. To to to abdicate and to abandon responsibility is to die in adversity which I'm communicating right now. Everyone who is a believer, you see, one of the problems we have is that many people just think this is not just God. God have spoken. God have said if God promises you long life and you play with your health, you will die short. >> It's not God. It's not about God. It's not about God. This is the reason why prophecies are given and along the line the prophecies don't meet the desired fulfillment and people are questioning the prophetic uncction on the prophet not knowing that you abandon your responsibility. He said there is nothing in your heart. There's nothing in my in my house. Said no there is something under your bed. Go. He said you see a pot of oil. You see a pot of oil. He said what do you do? Call your neighbors. Ask for their jar. Pour the oil. And the Bible says she went and did. And Elisha said to her, "You call your neighbors, borrow from your neighbor." She refused. She sent our children to borrow. They said, "You talk to your neighbor." She refused. She said, "No." She sent her sons to go and borrow vessels. Elisha knew that part of the problem she had was inability to let go. There was a conflict in the home. There's a clash between she and the neighbor. Now you go. There are people today no matter the anointing that is hitting a place, no matter the message of righteousness and heaven, they cannot make peace. They are the general overseer of malice. Preach heaven and earth. Preach to them. Talk to them. Advise them. Go and borrow. He never says send your children. He never says send your sons. He say you go go and borrow vessels. go and borrow vessels. Go and borrow vessels. And they refused to borrow vessel. She sent her sons. And the Bible say and the oil stayed. The oil stayed. The oil stopped flowing. The oil stopped flowing. Responsibility. And you see you your responsibility is discharged in your service. You can't be a nonchalant. Take my yoke. You see and learn. Somebody say knowledge. Say knowledge. I'm talking I'm just talking of what what is number one? Intimacy. I'm talking of how to discover rest. Intimacy. Number two responsibility. Number three know. Say learn of me. Learn. Learn. Sir, there is a way things are done. Stop inventing your own way. There's a prescribed way things are done. Sir, there is a way things are done. For everyone who is successful, for everyone who stands out in their generation, for everyone who stands out in their nation, in their time, there's a prescribed way things are done. There is a way to do that business. There is a way to do that business. There's a way to run a restaurant. Learn there's a way to sell hair. Learn all this your losses are not demonic attack. It is because you are bankrupt mentally. learn. You will keep praying and keep waiting. You will keep praying and not seeing the evidence. You will keep praying and not see result. Because in that department you are praying about you have refused to learn. Proverbs 19:2 that a soul be without knowledge. It is not good. Learn. You are just. Proverbs 11:9. True knowledge are the just. You are just. You are speaking in tong. Learn. There are things to learn. Am I communicating here? Knowledge. You want rest? Learn. Knowledge. You can't grow beyond what you know. Are you follow I'm talking about? Stop all these negative palants. All these negative palent me I don't know. Person know not go kill him. They kill him. My people are destroyed. Isaiah 5:13, Osiah 4:6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. What you don't know is senior to you. What you don't know is stronger than you. My people are destroyed. Isaiah 5:13 said they have gone into captivity. In other words, they in bondage. Oh, see I said they are destroyed. Hear me child of God, you need knowledge. Somebody say knowledge. Say knowledge. Say knowledge. Say knowledge. Yes. Yes. Yes. Knowledge to enjoy rest. You see the right thing. Many of us are spending our time pursuing the wrong knowledge. Sir, there are certain things you don't need sir to know. Not things that matter to your destiny. >> Are you aware? Can I say this? Are you aware that your celebration determines your value system? Your celebration determines your value system. What you celebrate determines how you think. Your celebration determines your value system. There are people that will celebrate nudity. It's that is their value system. There are people that will celebrate robbery, evil. That's your their value system. Somebody buys a car, you don't care how you got the car. Correct. It shows a weak value system because a a a value system that is rooted in righteousness wants to know how did this come about and which I'm talking to somebody. What you celebrate determ when people behave you just know their value system and from their value system you can define who they are. A generation that celebrates what they should be ashamed of. >> There are things we should be ashamed of but that's what we celebrate. And the Bible says, "And Peter saw how come of everybody, it was only Peter that spoke." Are you aware? I did my results on Peter. When I was studying about Peter, I discover Peter lost his brother in the sea. In the sea. Are you aware? In Luke chapter 5, Peter toyed all night on the sea and caught nothing. Are you aware? Are you aware? All night the sea was against him. Are you aware? In Matthew 17, when Peter was stranded because he wouldn't pay tax, it was still the sea that the Lord sent him to go to the sea and go there and you find a fish with and get get ready because you have hook and with that hook you put it in his mouth and there is money and a coin. It was still the sea. So Peter knew there was something about the seed that was after him. >> This was an opportunity for him to dominate what has been after him. Child of God, when you see me react is because I know what is pursuing me. When you see me rebel is because I know where I'm coming from. Child of God, your bankruptcy is the template of your buoyancy. Your bankruptcy is the template for your buoyancy. What you see as a battle today is already configuring how you should structure your life for your freedom. He fought the sea back. He contended the sea. When you see men take steps, men react, men spend time in prayer. Peter knew these guys can sit down and do nothing. But there's something about the seed that has been attracting me. Something about the seed that has been attacking my life, attack my brother, attack my finance, attack. It's time to step on. what stepped on me. It's time to override what overran me. Am I communicating right now? It's time for me to make declarations. The Bible said, "Thou shall decree a thing and it shall be established and there shall be light on your path." I make declaration. What swallowed your father will not swallow you. What swallowed your brother will not swallow you. What stopped others will not stop you. Where they failed, you will not fail. You have come onto Mount Zion to the city of the living God. the innumerable company of angels and to the blood of sprinkling, the blood that speaketh better things than the blood of Abel. I make declarations over your life. You will swallow what followed. You will surmount what surmounted. If your amen is louder, take the blessing. Peter knew it was time. Peter knew it was time. in you. Others can keep quiet, but there is something I see. Others may do nothing but there is something I see. Others may be silent, but there is something I see. Christ did it. Peter say I can do it. What God introduces, you can reproduce. Anything God introduce, you can reproduce. If God introduces, you can reproduce it. John 14:12 Jesus said, "He that believeth on me, the work that I do shall he do also, and greater works than this shall he do, because I go unto my father." We are the generation of greater works. Somebody shout, "Greater works." >> I can hear you. We in the generation. We in the dimension. Are you see what's happening in our meetings around the world? Around the world. The dimensions of the spirit unusual. A prophetic word landed on a woman whose brother was mad in Germany. 40 years mad on the street of Germany naked tearing his clothes and prophetic word landed on him. Bam. That very night senses came land 40 years senses restored wore his clothes. The next morning the strong woman became mad >> packaged and sent back. became mad and died mad. >> I wish I'm talking to somebody right now. Someone's brother or friend died and they packaged the body and drop in the muary and I didn't know mention the name by prophecy and the word was spoken in wonders without number. While he was in the muary, the maturity attendant had that muary was shaken. They turn he has come back to life. We are in the season of the act of God. So in this kind of season, I said these are season of spiritual ovelation. So anybody that activates now, he takes that. I wish I'm talking to somebody right now. Hey, hey, hey. Peter said, "If it's real, tell me to come." In other words, I I dare it. The unusual is possible. If you can dare it, the unusual is a possibility if you dare to attempt. The unusual is a possibility if you dare to attempt. The unusual is a possibility. You can be the first to build a house in that family. Yes, it's possible. You can be the first to buy a car in that family. Yes, it's possible. You can be the first to become spiritually sound in that family. Yes, it's possible. You can be the first graduate in that family. Yes, it's possible. You can be outstanding in that family. Yes, it's possible. You can stand out in that family. Yes, it's possible. You can become the greatest in that family. Yes, it's possible. Let me tell someone, it's possible. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. It's possible. The greatest limit is the one you place on yourself. >> No one can place a limit on you if you don't reject it. The greatest limit is the one you place on yourself. The limit you place on yourself. I've told you before, God is not God is no more picking people. Oh Jeremiah, send me send you send you. People are exercising themsel into championship. God is not picking people exercising themselves into championship. God is are you aware it's so tragic that to employ somebody they will tell you okay we need five years working are you are you what I'm talking about so if I have if I already have work and experience what am I doing here but what I trying to say we need somebody who will not learn on the job somebody who has an understanding of what we call we cannot be paying you and be training you are what I'm talking about we can't be paying you and bet training you that's what God is doing Are you aware a lady called Ruth? Ruth lost her father-in-law, lost her brother-in-law, lost her husband and said unto Naomi, "Where you go, I will go. Your people shall be my people. Your God shall be my God." Naomi said, "No problem." But let me tell you what obtains where I come from. Where I come from, we don't desire success. We attract it. >> In other words, as I'm going now, I know you want to marry again. I will tell you what to do in the field for you to attract the kind of man you want. I will tell you what to do. We don't desire success. We attracted. I will tell why she was in the field working in the because she had been given the keys and the strategy to attracting what she wanted. That success is not desired is attracted. The man that she wanted came her way. People think this thing just about confession. Are you aware that if you give an idiot a script to mark he will mark that he passed? Let's let somebody write nonsense now and you give him the script say take mark yourself. Will it mark that he failed? >> Good good good. And you'll be so dafted that you will give yourself a 100 over 100 A1. So your am I communicating here? So we must have that understanding that everyone that needs you see I was I was studying something. I was wring a book a secular book not um Christian literature just a book on success the biography of several men. And there's something I saw in common. Every one of them who succeeded first of all believed they could succeed. Yes. They believed. I saw one. She's a young lady. She's 30 30 32 or so. And she's a multi-billionaire in dollars. She came from the slum. She came from a place where nothing was working. He said at the age of 18, she looked at all her aunties. All of them. All of them. The only achievement they had was fruit of the womb. Fruit of the boom. Fruit of the bomb. Fruit of the womb. Fruit of the womb. Fruit of the womb. There was no one with anything physically tangible. She said no. And she began to research how to be great. By 19 she has found her purpose. You know there's this thing I don't like what they say follow your passion. Follow your passion. And people think that passion means anything you like to do and it's easy. No passion can be difficult. >> Which I'm talking to somebody now. Passion can be hard. Passion doesn't mean that thing that you you you do and doesn't take anything from you. No. Passion me that thing you love to do even if it breaks you you still like it. At the age of 19 she has found her a her purpose. Age of 20 she has started. Age of 25 while she was still talking you can see goals. Goals. Great men. You see great men still sitting down in management meetings not even in they are not even aware of their acquisitions and what they have. It it begins in the mind. It begins in the mind. the mind the after he rose Paul looked at him Paul said I wasn't there when Christ walked on the surface of the earth I wasn't there when he walk on the circles of Bethany Bethlehem Jericho Judea he said but as I heard his teaching as I heard his preaching as I heard his manifestation I discovered there's something outstanding about him it was his mind so therefore let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus Let this mind. So everything Jesus did was because of his mind. >> And if you don't have a sound mind, nobody will mind you. Sound mind is aligning your mental your mental your mental life with God's word. Aligning your mental, not common sense. Common sense makes men common. Makes men common. Common sense makes men common. Common sense produce common men. Common sense produce common men. Common sense makes men come on. Don't you have common sense? That's why you are common. That's why you're common. Let this mind Peter did unusual. Number one, I don't have much time. Are you ready? I say, are you ready? Many of us just come to church. Listen, listen. Before I send, many of us just come to church and we don't even know what the kingdom is. A young man spoke to me one time at the airport that anytime he goes to win souls he doesn't succeed to win souls. I said so winning say yes. I said so winning is easy. He said it doesn't succeed. They end up arguing sometime you want to beat them because they're arguing about him that Jesus is not the son of God blah blah blah. I said why did you go there to be telling them Jesus is son of God? He says is that not the gospel? I said no. He said ah. He said if I'm telling them that they do this they'll go to hell. I said that's not the gospel. If you smoke, you go to hell. All the smokers are going to hell. That's not the gospel. There are people that are not smoking. They are not drinking and they will go to hell. >> That's not the gospel. If you are wearing earring, throw it away. You wearing we throw it away because you are going to hell. That's not the gospel. That's not the gospel. What is the gospel? I'm teaching you how to preach. We say win souls. We didn't say argue with souls. I'm teaching you now. What is the go? The gospel is you walking to somebody. Greater the person. I said I brought good news for you. Gospel is good news. Jesus died for you. He has paid the price. Everything has been done. All he wants you to do is to accept. Gospel is you accepting what has been done. Not you trying to do something again. What you are preaching is for you are telling them to do something to be right. No, there's nothing they can do. I was saying this in the car yesterday and a great father in the faith, Dr. Mon said to me, he said, "That's nonsense." How do you tell somebody if you are smoking and the man said when he accepted Christ, he stop smoking. When you accepting those things stop making people That's what some of you do. You you you see you see somebody smoking and you walk past cigar. You're going to hell. That's not the gospel. That's not the gospel. The gospel comes with a heart of love. Overwhelming love that despite is smoking. He said I want to throw it. No, no, no. Let's talk. When you give him gospel, cigarettes will irritate him. alcohol will irritate him because he sees himself that he's too princes and queens and princesses they don't they don't live among slums the gospel that is why I say repent in other word change your mind it's called metaninoia change your mind repentance means have a change of mind are you following so stop arguing with souls bring good news stop argument okay is the son of god not the son of say no problem whatever but just know the price has been paid that's all so what do I do just Jesus come into my life. That's all. Is it that easy? Very easy. Just accept the prize. Are you listening to what I'm saying? >> Very easy. You see yourself winning souls all the time because that's your assignment as a believer. Peter wanted to do what Jesus did. But there were principles that needed to be. Now watch this. Peter said if it's you, tell me to come. And Jesus say it is I come. Somebody say revelation. Say revelation. >> The first principle to doing the unusual is revelation. When you see men doing strange things, there are things they have seen you have not seen. When you see men attempting new height and tempting dimensions, attempting realms, there are things they have seen. Are you aware that Elijah said, "Go and tell Hab that he should run. Let the rain stop him because I hear a sound of abundance of rain." Why? He saw a hand and he saw that hand. That hand tell Lord and navigated the dynamics of his steps. Why? Because he saw ahead. Child of God, men of revelation and men of acceleration. Men of revelation and men of progression. Men of revelation are men of as accentuation. Men of revelation are men who become highf flyers in their world. When you have revelation, you go up. Am I speaking here? Galatians 2:2, I went up by revelation and communicated the gospel to the Jews. He said, first to the Jews, he said, and among the Gentile and also to men privately to men of reputation. Are you aware that every man who stands out in his time because something was revealed to them? Verse 27. Somebody say revelation. Say revelation. When men are taking steps, it is because there's something they are seeing that you are not seeing. Don't judge their steps when you can't see their visions. There's something there. See, for me to live everywhere and come to this kind of place 21 years ago, almost 22 years ago, there was something I saw. There was something I saw. There was something I saw. There was something I saw. There was something I saw. When God when are you ready now? He said, "Be of good cheer." It is I. So, Revelation drives on the platform of joy. Joy be of good cheer. You cannot see revelation until you are joyful. They that yet the joyful sound shall walk in the light of thy countenance. Isaiah 12:3 with joy shall we draw water from the wells of salvation. Somebody say joy. >> Say joy. Say joy. If you want to be a kingdom I flyer and you want to see revelations, you want to see the heart of God, the mind of God, the character of God, the nature of God, then you must permanently, perpetually, continuously, progressively be joyful. You must be joy. Anything that tempers your joy tempers your your revelation. >> Anything that truncates your joy mutilate your access to revelations. One of the reason your circle should be small is because your a larger circle opens you more to sadness. The larger your circle, the more your battles. I wish I'm talking to somebody here. Somebody say joy. >> Say joy. >> You must be aware that joy is not the name of a sister. It's an element of the spirit. Joy is not just the name of a sister. It's an element of the spirit. Somebody say joy. >> Be of good cheer. For you to do the unusual, you must see the uncommon. What you see determines what you seize. Your picture is your future. What you picture is what you capture. Sir, until there is capture, there cannot be picture. Are you aware that the end product of a photograph experience is the picture in your hand? >> All right. But there is what they call capture. They say, "Don't move. Don't move. Stay on the spot." And they slide it. Pam. And can I tell you this? The negatives are horrible. Have you seen negatives? You look funny inside. Yes. Yes. That's how it is. That is how visions are in the realms of the spirit. Spiritually in the realms of the spirit as raw materials they look horrible. They look terrible. They look blurry until they are processed. When he has tried me, I shall comfort as go. Somebody say revelation. >> Shout again. >> Shout again. >> Tell somebody be joyful. So you know there are three elements of that trigger revelation. Number one is joy. Like I've said you must continually surround yourself with joy. When somebody comes to you and say I have something to tell you that brother said say is it positive? Say no no I just want you to be careful. Say don't tell me. Whatever affects your joy truncates your assess to revelation. Number two the word. The word. Your second outlet. Your second access to revelation is the word. Your addiction to the word of God opens you up to revelation. Sir, when you read God, you will hear God. When you read God, the word of God is the manual of God. The word of God is the manner of God. The word of God is the culture of God. The word of God is the character of God. The word of God is the posture of God. When you when you continually bury yourself as a student of God's word, when you continually get addicted and consume God's word, what happens? You produce revelations. Somebody say the word, >> the word reveals his nature, reveals his character, reveals his attitude, reveals his behavioral pattern. The word of God reveals the fullness, the entity of God. In the beginning, what's the word? The word was with God. For the world was God. All things were made by him. Without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life. The life was the light of men. The light shined in darkness and darkness comprehended it. No. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. God said that everything about me you want to know. 1 John 1 vers1. That which was from the beginning which we have looked upon. First John 1:1. First John 1:1. that which from the beginning which we have heard, seen, looked upon, our hands have handled. How does it start? We heard it. We saw it. We continued looking and our hands handled. Are you I'm talking about Are you following what I'm saying? The word Romans 10:17, faith come then cometh by hearing. The more of God's word you hear, the more faith is built in your heart. So you hear the word of God. Number number three key to revelation is intimacy, sensitivity. There are things God will not tell you from scripture, but he will tell you in your room. There are things that God will not tell you in the in the word, but he will tell you in the place of prayer. Arise now, go downstairs. Open the the gate. It's not in the Bible. Go to the gate. Go to the gate now. Go to the gate. You rush to the gate and you saw that your little baby was almost walking out. I wish I'm talking to somebody here. Is that in the Bible? Arise. Shut the door. And in one split second, I would have been a victim of scorpion bite. So, revelation spiritual sensitivity. In numbers 22:28 we see that a donkey was speaking but Balam was not sensitive to hear a donkey. Numbers 22:28 a donkey was speaking. 22:28 a donkey was speaking. When you lack spiritual sensitivity, you will be hurting who is sent to bless you. >> You'll be beating what is sent to deliver you. >> You'll be offending a woman who is your protector. You'll be offending a man who is your cover because you lack spiritual sensitivity. I'm somebody's not following what I'm saying. Somebody follow what I'm saying? You lack spiritual sensitivity. Are you aware if you study that scripture numbers 22:28 there are three things that comes to mind. Number one, God can speak through anyone and anything. God can use your children to talk to you. God can use situations to talk to you. God can speak through anything and anyone at any time anywhere. God can spoke to a donkey for the preservation. Are you aware that why was the donkey reacting? The angel of the Lord stood on the way with a sword ready to slay him. When you go where God has not sent you, your protector becomes your adversary. When you go where God has not sent you, your protector becomes your adversary. God can speak to anyone, sir. Second Kings 5, it was Neon's servants that spoke to him. Elijah said, "Go and wash in Jordan." And he said, "Are there not better waters? Are there not?" Said, "Go and deep in Jordan. Are there not better waters? The water of Abana, the water of Papa, there are better waters and better river everywhere." No. You said I should walk in stinking, smelling, irritating, disgusting, slimy, slumpy children. Yeah, there are better rivers. But in those rivers is for batting. You bait there. But in this particular river, you deep. You deep. God can speak to anyone. Your spiritual sensitivity is what opens you up to revelations. You must understand it. Somebody say, "I hear you." >> Name man. Can I beg you please? as a CEO, as a CEO, as a GM, as a director, as a head of your entrepreneur. Never become so big that you have grown so deaf. Don't become so big that you grow so deaf. Even your gate man has something to tell you. Never go so big that you become so deaf. Check great men they listen to councils. They listen to council. And Jesus moved a bit and said, "I'm going to lay my life down. I'll die." And after 3 days, I'll come back. Peter said, "No, don't say that." And Jesus said, "You are Satan. Same day, same time. You are Peter, you are Satan. Because you don't know when to stand up, when to speak up, and when to shut up. Are you following what I'm talking about? Somebody say sensitivity. >> Say intimacy to get revelation. Sometime God can be talking to you. I decree grace for sensitivity. Number two, the Bible says verse 28 to 29, Peter began to walk on the water. For you to do the unusual, you must walk by faith. There was nothing Peter saw. Walk by faith. Walk by faith. Walk by faith. This kingdom is a kingdom of faith. Peter saw nothing. All he had was come and he took a step. Walk by faith. Now faith, let me explain something. Faith is not abstract. There are people that do nothing. Papa said we should just walk by faith. So they going outside walk by faith. Go to where they are selling car. How how much is this car? This visa you are pursuing all your money gone. Was it a divine instruction or just a decision for a better life? This connection you have with a friend said no papa you don't understand. Your faith rests on that. The Bible tells us Jairus' daughter was dead, came back to life. Your faith rests on that. The Bible tells us a young boy had five loaves of bread and two fishes and it was multiplied. Your faith rests on that. The Bible tells us about a woman called Dorcas who came back to life.
Your face. You. You locate what God. Is somebody getting something this morning? What has God done for you? What has he done for others? Locate it. Build your faith on it. Build your faith on it. Build your faith on it. Build your faith on it. What have you seen God do in scripture? Everything introduced here can be reproduced for you. Everything introduced in scripture can be reproduced in your life. Locate what God. The previous act, every act of God is a pointer to what he can repeat. Every previous act of God is a pointer to what he can replicate. So you must be aware that if God healed before, he can heal now. That is what the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, that Jesus is the same yesterday, the same today, and the same forever. What he did before, he can do today. What he does today, he can do tomorrow. He can do the same thing in Nigeria. He can do it in Asia. He can do it in an African nation. He can do it in America. He can do it in the United Kingdom. He can do it in the Bahamas. He can do it in the islands. Anywhere he can do the same thing. When the anointing is available, climate is not a question. The anointing is climate-resistant. Am I communicating here?
So your faith stands on instruction. Your faith stands on what God has done. And your faith stands on focus. Walk by faith. The Bible says as Peter saw the wind boisterous. When his eyes left focus, listen to me. He saw the wind and he was afraid. He saw the wind and he was afraid. As you navigate through life, please focus on your expectation, not your distraction. Feed your faith and starve your doubts. Anything that does not look like your destination, disconnect from it. The only thing that gets your attention is your intention. Wherever you can accommodate something that is at variance with what you believe. There are people today that are stranded in certain departments of life because they lack focus. Focus. Your focus must be brutal. Your focus must be brutal. You must have brutal focus. If you see me go, that which you desire shall be given to you. If you see me go, spiritual things are slippery. It takes focus to attract them. Spiritual things are slippery. Slippery. If focus. Are you aware? One of the strengths of focus is to show you your inadequacies. Peter, Satan showed him the wind that was against him. Satan never showed him how close he was to Jesus. When the devil wants to shatter your focus, he shows you your inadequacies. Who has ever done this in your family? Are you sure God is happy with you? You that offended God, that's why Jesus died. Are you sure? Look at the last business you did. Nothing worked out. Those are satanic traps to shatter your focus. Somebody else tried to do this and didn't succeed. Someone else went for that visa and didn't get it. That is the devil feeding your doubts. It shows you your inadequacies. But you know Satan never showed Peter that he was very close to Jesus. He showed him the wind. Never showed him that he was close. Satan never shows you what you can do. Never shows you.
Someone said to me, "Sir, I want to ask you a question. What do you say about people who have prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and yet things don't change?" I said, "That's true, but just imagine if they didn't pray." He started laughing. I said, "Yeah, if they have prayed and prayed and their life is like this, so it means if they didn't pray at all, they'd be dead by now." As they see it like that and stop doubting prayer, and that thing does it makes my tummy turn when people say, "I've prayed and prayed, things remain the same." We don't pray for things to change. We pray because we love God. Job 13:15: "Even if he slay me, yet will I trust him." Are you saying if things are okay, you stop praying? Stop approaching God with the mentality of you praying so that. Let prayer be a character, a culture. Have you said, "I've eaten. I've eaten. I've eaten. I've eaten, yet I don't have visa. I'm not eating again. I've been sleeping and sleeping and sleeping and sleeping, yet I don't have visa. Sit down. I'm not sleeping again." We engage in prayers, engage in fasting because of our love for God. We don't do it because there's something we're expecting. No. No. When you are doing that because you want, "Father, show yourself, show yourself, show yourself, show yourself in my life. Oh Father, Father, Father, where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you?" And God is looking at you. "Where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Where are you?" "Father, don't keep quiet. Oh, answer me. Answer me. Answer me."
A young brother brought three chairs. He's from the East. He brought three chairs and dropped them in his room. He said, "God the Father, sit down here. God the Son, sit down here. All those are just drama. It produces nothing. But someone comes and says, "Lord, I'm not following you because of what I want." If your attachment to a person is because of what they have, who they are, or how they look, it's time. Have you seen your father? Ask your mother how your father looked when they got married. Your mother will know. My husband. All names. Mothers. Am I correct? All names. Honey, sugar, peppe, a muba. But now, time. You love the Lord. You love the Lord. We pray because. Yeah. Even though he slay me, yet will we trust him. The tribal boys said, "We will not bow." Even if others are bowing, even if this our decision takes our life, we will not bow in this company. Even if I lose my job because I refuse to cut corners, let me lose it. Even if God will give me a better one. That is a brutal decision to stay transparent and honest. Can I hear a loud amen?
When Peter took off his eyes, the Bible says he began to sink. So when you lose focus, you go down. When you lose focus, you go down. Number three, and then I'll pray. Are you getting something? The Bible says when he saw himself sinking, he cried out. Somebody say prayer. Prayer. So to do the unusual, you must have revelation. You must walk by faith. You must understand prayer. Prayer. Prayer. "Lord, save me." He was sinking. And he cried out. You know he cried out. He cried out. There are many of us who have not cried out. We have not cried out to God. We don't understand prayer. Let me teach you something. When you go into the place of prayer, "Father, Lord, in the name of Jesus, I come before you. I come before you, oh Lord. Oh Lord." Your prayer may be accurate, but before God is not correct. Let me explain to you. The Bible says, "We know not what to pray as we ought." As we ought, as we ought. Romans 8, Romans 8, verse 26: "as we ought, but the Spirit makes intercessions for us." Now look at this. Let me explain what that means. There are prayers God wants you to pray now, but you are praying something different at this point. God wants you to pray for your safety on the journey, but you are busy praying for your health because God knows what is more urgent. So you can, if you pray your understanding, you cannot pray the mind of God for the now. That is what I mean by, "We know not what to pray as we ought." There is God's designed prayer for now. You can only buy into the mind of God when you switch from this mortality into immortality. The only way for you to pray God's intention is praying in the Spirit. When we pray in tongues, we are praying God's intention, not our prayer request. We can start with our prayer request, but as we switch to tongues, we enter God's intention. You started, "Oh Lord God, I thank you. Lord, I bring my children before you as they are going to school." What are you doing? There are things about that prayer that is not for that time. You switch. So those of us who are still praying our understanding, say, "Me, I can't speak it. I'm waiting. I'm waiting." So I'm waiting for that day where the Holy Ghost will just come and move my mouth. Somebody said, "No, that he doesn't want fake spirits. He wants true spirits." The team must enter. Say, "Receive." Receive. Go ahead and pray in the Spirit. I didn't. I didn't receive. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is by faith. You receive by faith. Receive. Release yourself and be saying. I know a brother in church. He loves God. He was in church. We grew up together. That guy never spoke with us one day. "Father, Lord, God, Lord, Lord, God. Lord, oh my Lord, God. My Father, my Lord." One day I called him, "Pray in the Spirit." He said, "It hasn't come." I said, "Why?" He said, "It hasn't come." I said, "Why?" He said, "He wants to feel it like wind. Something must happen." So when you say, "Open your mouth," how we know he's around. "Lord God, Lord, Father, Lord God." And just make sure there's no pole around. That building will go down. It will hold the pole. "Lord, Lord, pray in the Spirit." No. "Lord God, Lord." You receive the Spirit by faith. Pray, building up yourself. There are times we have, we don't have a prayer request. We just build up ourselves. We just build up ourselves. Praying. Anytime you are praying in the Spirit, you are building yourself. You are building yourself. You are generating spiritual energy, density, intensity. Build up yourself in your mouth. Holy faith praying.
Sir, tell Jesus your pain. Peter was close to Jesus, yet he cried out. Yes. Yes. No matter how close you are to Jesus, you'll be tempted. Yes. No matter how close you are to Jesus, there'll be attacks. Yes. The attacks are not. Does the attack not invalidate your proximity to Jesus? The attacks we go through do not invalidate our proximity to Jesus. No matter how close you are to Jesus, there'll be trials. There'll be temptations. There will be pains. Peter was standing with him, but there were challenges. One day, Kenneth Hagin was talking to Jesus. Jesus appeared to Kenneth Hagin. I read it in the book called "Believer's Authority." And as they were talking, a demon stood between them and was making some sound. He was not hearing Jesus. He was expecting Jesus to take that thing out. Jesus kept talking, and the noise was on, and he exercised authority in the name of Jesus, and it left. Jesus, why? Jesus said, "All powers I have, I've given to you." It's not what you do that determines what I respond to. I've given you everything. I can only act when you allow me, when you decree. Cry to God your pain. Stop this. Stop. Stop faking things. You can be tempted. You can go through trials. You are sinking. Don't wait till you are drowned before you cry out. You are sinking, sir. You are sinking. You are sinking. This is not you. You are sinking. See yourself. The characters you never had, now you are now absorbing them. The things you can, you imagine you that was so spiritual, now you are craving for alcohol. You are becoming so comfortable around smokers. You are sinking. You are sinking. It doesn't mean you are evil. You are close. In fact, the closer you are to Jesus, the more they attack because Satan will not attack if he's not attracted to you. If there's nothing attracting him to attack you, if you are far from Christ, it doesn't bother him. You are sinking. This is not you. This is not your prayer life. This is not your study life. You are at a point. You don't even know where you are going. You are like the wind. Your conscience is dead. Things before that will prick you, no longer prick you. You are sinking. You are sinking. You are sinking. You are sinking. Don't wait till you drown. The same God that helped you walk on water can pull you out of the water when you are sinking. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. A medical doctor, a prophetic word came, a medical doctor came out and was healed and gave testimony. Has been healed. You are sinking. You are sinking. Look at your life now. X-ray your life and X-ray what is happening. You have been on a spot. See, let me tell you something. There are no impartial zones. There are no neutral grounds. If you are not going forward, you are going backward. There's nothing like standing on the spot. If your life is not going forward, it's going backward. If things are not happening for you, it means you are receding and retreating. You are sinking. You have to cry to God today. "Lord, help me." Some of us looking at me now, we don't even understand where we are. Our life is at a point of no direction, no light, no illumination. Look at marriage. Look at health. There's nothing you can hold to say is working for you. It's like the very things that matter to you, you are losing all of them. Things that matter to you, you are losing them. You always start a fresh every year. Every year, start from scratch. You are sinking. You are sinking. You are sinking. Peter was walking, and he began to sink. And he cried, "Lord, save me. When you, you see when you do not talk to yourself and understand that this life and all happening now to you are not ordinary, that the way you are going, you see when the devil wants to make you live permanently in unrighteousness, it kills your conscience. It kills your conscience. That what should prick you becomes a normal thing. What should make you cry, I'm telling you, when the devil wants to make you live permanently in unrighteousness, he kills your conscience and introduces you to people whose conscience are equally dead. Are you following what I'm talking about? Things that should make you cry to God for mercy and forgiveness, you don't do it. It's normal. You lie, it's normal. You steal, it's normal. Nothing. Nothing is nothing. You don't feel anything. You don't talk to people, it's normal, and you give an excuse, "I mind my business." Satan will always give you a name to kill the potency of the error. There are people before when they wake up, they say they are waking up by 3 and wake up by 4. They go on their knees. "Lord, have mercy. Lord, have that." That's the level of fear of God inside them. Now they can stay for one week and not wake up to pray. One week, they don't wake up to pray. Even wonders without number, they are dozing while they are praying because they are sinking. You are sinking. It's time to cry to God. "Lord, save me. Save me. Save me. Save me. Save me. Save me. Save me. I can't go on like this. Save me. Save me. Save me. Save me." Be upstanding.
