Donald Trump's administration has been embroiled in more scandals than any other in American history. And that includes his last administration. So, it should be no surprise to anyone that tonight he is being nuked by another. And it should be less of a surprise that it is proving what we have believed and known all along that Donald Trump is Vladimir Putin's puppet.
Now, this would be a lot easier for Donald Trump if everyone in his administration was immediately coming to his defense and helping him maneuver his way out of one of the worst foreign policy scandals we've ever seen. But that's not what's happening because of JD Vance, whose leaked call is now exposing and blowing up Donald Trump's secret plot. And we're going to get into it all.

Now, before we get into Trump's call, we have to start with someone who's giving us all the context and explaining why this is so scary, maybe even more so than the very obvious puppetry that Putin has played in the past with Trump, and that is Senator Mark Warner right here. It it feels like this was a plan that they took almost entirely from the Russians, did no consultation with Congress, no consultation with the Europeans, obviously didn't read in Zalinsky and the Ukrainians, and now they're getting ferocious push back. So, one more time, Trump is changing his deadlines. Of course, how he picked Thanksgiving to start with, I have no idea. But now it even with this kind of this back and forth that it's not really an American plan or is it an American plan, this is the kind of chaos that unfortunately um represents so much of the Trump foreign policy.
>> So what do you think President Zalinski should do? He's been through this before. It's kind of back and forth with this White House. They support you. They pull it back. Do you think all of this this proposal which seems to heavily favor Russia is that just a starting point?
>> Well, I would hope so.

>> I would hope so. We're again the Ukrainians have performed magnificently in the field. They are reinventing the nature of warfare in terms of use use of drones to have this proposal forced upon them. I think as Zalinsky said, Ukrainian dignity versus giving up a partner. I would hope the president would not be so weak as to try to force this plan [snorts] on the Ukrainians and our other allies. It would, I think, send not only a horrible signal for Europe, but the person who's watching this probably the most closely is President Xi and China.
Donald Trump is taking his talking points from Putin. Russian state TV has joked in the past that Donald Trump operates as if he was taking his talking points from Vladimir Putin, but it is very clear that this is not a joke. This is not fanciful imagination from the the wigged out liberal who oh is oh so crazy and has Trump derangement syndrome. No, this is what is actually happening. and Carolyn Levit, Marco Rubio, and everyone else in this administration before this reporting became public was backing up Donald Trump and saying this was a wonderful peace plan, knowing very well that it was just a surrender on behalf of Ukraine to Russia and they didn't care. They pushed the talking points nonetheless and they were happy to and they are still trying to and pretending like this never even happened. Of course, Vance blew that all up.
But before he did, just listen to what Scott Besson had to say.
>> You just talked about the president's peace deals. Let's talk about Ukraine. US lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, Ukrainian officials who I've spoken to say the peace plan for Russia and Ukraine as written only benefits Russia. Let me ask you simply, Mr. Secretary, was this 28point plan written by Russia?
I I I have no information on that, Kristen, but I can tell you I am the highest ranking US official to have visited Ukraine. I went last February and when I went last February, I went with an economic cooperation agreement between the US and Ukraine. Uh President Zalinsky pushed back against it. The same people you're just talking about there pushed back against it. Mainstream media pushed back against it. You know what? We did it three months later.
And what a weird non-answer by Scott Besson, which I guess should come as no surprise today considering he asked Kristen Welker how much she weighed on national television. When asked about inflation, he decided to say that she gets on the scale every morning and weighs herself. If you didn't see that clip, please don't even. It's just incredibly off-putting. Scott Bessant refuses to give an actual answer here. As we know in this administration, it's better to just beat around the bush than to say anything because if you do, the answer will probably change in the next couple of hours. The lies, they adapt a lot under the Trump administration.
But one thing that you can't escape is factual reporting about the panic that's happening right now. And interestingly enough, part of this panic does not include Pete Hegath because it happened last night. this leaked call by Vance detailing how freaked out everyone is that now Republicans in Congress are upset with Donald Trump. Just look at this tweet. It's reporting from Margaret Brennan. It's very interesting when it comes to Vance. Margaret Brennan just posted on Twitter. A senior White House official told CBS that there was a call last night held by Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio along with Army Secretary Driscoll and US military leadership in order to answer questions from some concerned lawmakers. There were also separate phone calls made by Secretary Rubio as Shaheen King and Rounds detailed on the record at Halifax and Ron Philipsky of Midas Touch responded to this by writing it was a Saturday night so it was pretty likely Hegath was in no condition to participate. I think uh Ron Philipki is kind of bang on there that that Pete Hegath was probably had a little Pete keg breath uh last night so he couldn't participate in this call.
But it's very interesting. We know that Donald Trump has decided to make uh make JD Vance the Ukraine Russia ZAR. Like that's his job. Trump announced, this is very funny, that JD Vance a couple of months ago was going to be dealing with the effects of tariffs, uh which is inflation, uh by the way, Donald, and he was also going to be tasked with solving the war in Ukraine. So Donald Trump who said that this war wouldn't have happened under his administration if he were president 2020 if he had won that election instead of getting the beat the brakes beat off him by Joe Biden it never would have happened. He has seated the ground of solving the war which he said would be a breeze and done on day one to JD Vance. And so JD Vance is now doing damage control for Donald Trump who secretly took Russian talking points and decided that that was going to be his plan uh to have Ukraine surrender in this war. And JD Vance is running running damage control, right? How is that played out? Horribly. Republican senators and members of Congress are going on record right now and saying this is a disgrace. Uh many have said that there needs to be firings that happen right now. Uh they are not shutting up about it. They are getting louder and louder. Republicans are furious. They're calling this an embarrassment. Lindsey Graham called this all problematic. And when Lindsey Graham is speaking out to people, Lindsey Graham, then you know it is bad.
So, how did JD doing his little diplomacy within the Senate? Pretty piss poor. And it's it's funny to think that, you know, calling calling in JD Vance when some senators have a problem. That makes sense, right? You know, when Kla Harris was vice president, she had spent some time in the Senate, of course, before she became the vice president. Of course, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, master of the Senate, at least Mike Pence spent some time in the House. JD Vance was in the United States Senate for three weeks before he became vice president. So, the idea that like we're going to call in JD, he's going to whip up these senators, call in the big guns. I bet some of these guys have never spoken to JD Vance before. So, I don't know what Trump was thinking there. I don't know what Vance was thinking. But this call exposes the panic that's happening right now and how JD was unable to kind of corral the troops and get everyone in line.
MAGA is fracturing wherever you look, whether it be foreign policy as it relates to Donald Trump asking Ukraine to surrender. Of course, the Epstein files, but it's not the only foreign policy. I think it's important to keep in mind that while I do believe Marjorie Taylor Green still an immoral and untrustworthy figure besides talking about the Epstein files, bringing up how we have sold our souls and and given the Israeli government as it commits a genocide whatever it wants is a valid criticism to make of US foreign policy, especially as a US citizen sits in jail in Israel right now.
Of course, there's a lot of foreign policy news to talk about, but I think that you really need to hear this right here as well.
>> I want to tell you about a 16-year-old American citizen by the name of Muhammad Ibraham. Right now, he is sitting in a jail in Israel. He has been beaten. He has been abused. In the middle of the night about eight months ago, Israeli forces came and snatched him from his family's home on the West Bank. The reports that we've gotten, including reports from some US embassy officials, is that he's lost a lot of weight. We also know from others who have had a chance to meet with him, that he was beaten up. And this is an American kid. So, you would think that the United States government would be doing everything possible to secure his release, but they're not. After all, we have a very close relationship with Israel. United States taxpayers provide billions of dollars to the Netanyahu government and the state of Israel. You would think that we would be able to get this American kid out of prison, certainly to make sure that he doesn't get abused and beaten up in prison. So, it's long past due that President Trump and Secretary Rubio, Master Huckabe do what we say is the number one responsibility of our embassies overseas, which is to protect American citizens.
Senator Chris Van Holland is absolutely right. The US should have long ago cut off the sale of arms, bombs, certainly giving billions of dollars of aid with no strings attached to this genocidal state that even if Donald Trump's supposed peace plan had of course come to fruition, which it hasn't because Israel continues to indiscriminately kill Palestinians because it's an apartheid state. There's no reason why we should be sending the money, especially while a US citizen is sitting in jail being tortured. Everybody should be talking about this. It's insane that we don't have every member of Congress calling this out. Why do we send Israel, a state that has our tax dollars paying for their free college, their free healthcare, other state sponsored programs? Why why do we not have those in the United States? But they do at the expense of our tax dollars as they're indiscriminately killing people, breaking international law, committing a genocide, and holding one of our citizens hostage, and torturing him in prison. It doesn't make any sense. It It's disgusting. It's despicable, and it should be called out. Again, I don't want to give Marjorie Taylor Green credit, but it is commendable that it is something she has been very loud about, especially as the Israeli government's connection to Epstein continued to grow and grow.
Yeah, I think we should be talking about all of these things and critiquing our failed US foreign policy. It's not just failed under Donald Trump. He sure is exacerbating it. But Jason Crow certainly called that out. One of the loudest voices against Trump in Congress right now. A voice that has had himself attacked by Donald Trump. Said he should be killed. He's calling out Trump right here. We spent $3 trillion, lost 7,000 service members lives. Uh and those ended poorly. Congress has to make that decision. Congress needs to be accountable for it. And Congress needs to be debating this before the American people, going to the American people and and telling them why they should send their sons and daughters into conflict and they should spend hundreds of billions of dollars of their hard-earned money. This president doesn't want that process to happen. And as somebody that did three combat tours in these wars, I've had enough of Congress being cut out of it. We need to be much louder in calling out so much of what is happening in this administration. And I can promise you, we are going to be on this show and very unapologetic in doing so.
