The fantasy football season is done. But I know you guys are absolute sickos. Like we are absolute sickos. And every year we like to do a little exercise called a way too early 2026 fantasy football draft from a redraft, you know, best ball standpoint. This can kind of give us some insight onto, you know, players that we think are going to be highly valued next year. If you guys are maybe, you know, knocking on the doorstep contenders in dynasty, maybe this gives you an idea for some guys that project well next year.
Uh, we're going to do two rounds. We'll try and go through this in a pretty decent pace. Uh, Danny, I will give you the floor to go 101 and we'll kind of just go back and forth. Like obviously, there's this is not going to be perfectly correct, but if you go back to last year's, we actually, I would say, did a pretty decent job of predicting who ended up going kind of where in terms of who were the first round picks, who were the early to mid-second round picks, who were the late third, fourth, uh, mid-third, third round picks. Like we had a a good read, I would say, on on who was going where.
Yeah. And there will be a good amount of things that do end up changing. Obviously, there's a full offseason. We don't know what's going to happen in the NFL draft and NFL free agency. Like there will be things affecting the overall projection of the fantasy drafts, but at the same time, the top 24, we know what kind of happened in the 2025 season. We can kind of project forward. We know where our superstars are. And let's waste no more time. Let's go into the first pick because the jersey is hanging in the back. And I would argue that there's no bigger superstar in fantasy football on a per-game basis than what Puka Nacua was in relation to the wide receiver position. All year when I was doing my wide receiver tier list, when Puka was healthy, him and Ja'Marr were the clear top two wide receivers each and every week. And with Puka Nacua, man, you look at the consistency and volume. You look at the overall spike week ability. Like outside of maybe Ja'Marr Chase, I would argue that Puka Nacua has the best combination of spike week ceiling while also still giving you that high floor on a week-to-week basis. He did have that one week he gets hurt against Baltimore, scores 4.8 points. Outside of that, man, this guy was a double-digit scorer each and every game. He ends up scoring 349 points in 15 games. He ends up finishing first in terms of points per game at wide receiver. And to me, in PPR formats, he is the safest bet at number one.
Yeah. And, um, if we recall, I, uh, had a prediction before the season that CeeDee Lamb would have Cooper Kupp's 2021 season. He didn't quite have it. Um, but he was close. He was close, man. Cooper Kupp was over 25 points per game, the best wide receiver season of all time. Puka, if you remove that Baltimore game that he got, uh, injured in, 24.6 PPR points per game. So, he was like a point behind Cooper Kupp's 2021 season when healthy. Obviously, that game happened, you started him, he got injured in it, so he's more like 23 points per game, but this was an absolute monster. And I guess with this pick, you're also assuming that Matthew Stafford is back as well.
Yeah, if Matthew Stafford ends up retiring or we see a big, you know, a big announcement that comes that way, yeah, I'll adjust. But man, my Flock League season went down the [ __ ] as soon as I traded away Puka Nacua, so I have to do right by him. And, uh, don't worry, for those of you wondering at home, yes, I will be in Denny's, uh, come, come, uh, Texas time.
Yeah. And, uh, you and I are going to have [laughter] some banger team names next year when your team name is Denny's and you just have like an A crossed out and it's Danny's or something like that and then, uh, my team name is like 0.92 or something like that. So obviously a, a miserable performance from the fantasy change.
We literally flipped, we literally flipped spots. I missed the playoffs in the first year by two points against Joe because Allen and Addison combined for 90. You missed the playoffs by less than a point this year. You finished in the toilet pool two years ago. I finished in it this year. Like, ah, we, we got to knock off some trends. But at the end of the day, we still have as many playoff wins as Mason.
Yes, we do. Um, and speaking of my performance in the Flock League, the one thing I did not screw up this year was the first pick that I made. Last year, obviously, I did screw up the first pick that I made. This year, I went with, in my opinion, the best running back in football, Bijan Robinson. Now, I think from a fantasy perspective next year, there will be some concern with who his quarterback is. My understanding and guess would be that it will be Kirk Cousins to start the season. Michael Penix, of course, with another torn ACL in his career. Um, that's the problem for Bijan Robinson is how good is the Falcons offense? Well, if I check notes here, the Falcons offense stunk this year and Bijan still finished with well over, you know, 22 points per game. So, if we get any kind of semblance of good offense, good performing football team, NFC South winner, 10 plus win Falcons situation, we're talking about a guy with a 25 point per game ceiling. He's putting 22.72 up on the board, the most common uh fantasy championship winning player in all of fantasy football this year because not only did he crush in week 17 for 39.9 points against the best run defense in football, he had a top four scoring week in week 15 and week 16 as well. So, this is a dude that you got to feel very confident is quarterback proof, situation proof. This is a monster fantasy asset.
Yeah, dude. He might end up finishing the season with 2500 yards from scrimmage. Like that is special. Currently at 1445 rushing, currently at 810 yards receiving. The craziest part is he's doing all this with 11 total touchdowns this year. Like you said, like what if we have a scenario where he goes bonkers? He matches up the rushing touchdowns he had last year. He had 14, by the way, in 2024. He matches up the receiving uses he's gotten this year, 100 targets, 810 receiving yards. Like I do think him and the next guy I'm about to talk about and pick at number three overall to me, given the combination of age, given the combination of in their prime, and given the combination of just how talented they are from an explosive perspective, I think Bijan Robinson and his draft, draft year mate Jahmyr Gibbs need to be the next two players off the board. Jahmyr Gibbs, I mean, I think it's pretty clear at this point that no matter what, in a one-week sample, he is the scariest player to play against. If you're up by 55 points and Jahmyr Gibbs is playing on Monday Night Football, there is no guarantee you're walking out with the with the win. On top of that, the overall volume went out, went up tremendously this year. We kind of saw, you know, in the first couple years, Jahmyr Gibbs, him and Monty kind of leaning off of each other. Well, guess what? Monty was a backup running back to Jahmyr Gibbs this year. We definitely saw the increase in overall volume. Jahmyr Gibbs, man, to me, this is just prime Jamaal Charles all over again on the season. 13 rushing touchdowns a year after scoring 16 rushing touchdowns a year after scoring 10. Like I [laughter] I'm pretty sure there was a stat, by the way, that he is top three all time in a player's first three seasons in terms of overall touchdowns scored from scrimmage. You're getting attachment to a good offense. Despite the Lions not making the playoffs, they were still one of the best offenses in the league. And Jahmyr Gibbs took a full leap into, in terms of his workload. 89 targets, over 220 carries, and I think he's supposed to be a league winner yet again.
Yeah. And, um, the way I look at these two guys, the best fantasy football running backs of the last decade are Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara. The most RB1 combined seasons between the two of them. These two guys are the new Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara. Bijan Robinson, the Christian McCaffrey, the consistent option, the guy that's going to be there for you pretty much every single week. Jahmyr Gibbs, the Alvin Kamara who drops the 40 burger, who drops the monster performance, who isn't quite getting the insane level of workload that Bijan Robinson or, in that case, Christian McCaffrey was getting, but on a single week, did you want to play against a prime Alvin Kamara? Anybody who faced him on 2020 Christmas knows that you did not. Yeah, I mean, we have games this year, 38.2, 37, 55.4, 4. You can make the case if the Lions didn't kind of falter down the stretch because of course down the stretch, 9.8, 6.4, 22.8 was a big game against the Steelers, but the point kind of remains, the run blocking up front was kind of inconsistent at the end of the year, you kind of saw the yards per carry drop off. If we can combine the efficiency we saw in the early season along with the dominant overall touch workload we saw once the mid-season hit, I mean, I think this guy's got the clear highest ceiling of any fantasy asset, period.
Yeah, no, for sure. He, he's a monster, man. And you feel so good, too, that the Lions probably are a better team next year. They're probably bounce back a little bit. They won what 15 games a year ago and then unfortunately they're going to miss the playoffs this year. That feels like something that they'll be somewhere in the middle next year, like a 12 win team or something like that. So, um, yeah, again, Jahmyr Gibbs, that is exactly who I would have selected as well. This next pick would be a conversation for me between Christian McCaffrey, who I'm just, I'm I'm done doubting. I'm done doubting. I'm really done doubting him. Now, a lot of people are going to go, "Well, this is now going to be the year that Christian McCaffrey gets injured because he's coming off of a season in which he had like..."
It was [laughter] he and, you know, you never want to take Christian McCaffrey the year that he's going really high in fantasy. It feels like because that's when he gets injured or whatever, but we can't predict that, man. He played 17 games this year. He played all of the snaps virtually. Like, I'm just not. He's the best fantasy football running back who's ever lived. He is.
Yeah. So, am I going to take him here?
I just talked myself into him. So, yes, I am going to take him. I was going to take Ja'Marr Chase, but I am going to take Christian McCaffrey here just to prove a point and also that they're they're both absolute monsters. And Christian McCaffrey, as he showed us this year, truly, truly when he stays healthy, it's curtains. It's done. He's going to he's going to be the best running back in fantasy. It probably won't even be close. And he is an absolute machine of fantasy points. He is the best fantasy football running back who has ever lived. And I don't even think it's close.
Yeah. Um, I do think between McCaffrey and there's actually two wide receivers I think would be in consideration for me. Those are the clear next three names off the board at least at this point. McCaffrey, you could even argue should have been the first name off the board. We balanced, of course, you know, we got a bunch of elite players in their prime. You get a little bit more of a discount on McCaffrey. But hey, guess what? If you took the discount on McCaffrey going into this year, you got the number one overall player in fantasy because that's exactly what McCaffrey was. McCaffrey, hey, guess what? Maybe he shouldn't have been going on the one, two turn. Maybe he shouldn't have been going on the late first. I understand why he was because of the injury concerns because he only played four games, but he just reminded us just how insane he is when he is on the field because man, 122 targets and 303 carries. He was the RB1 in fantasy, Cory, on 3.89 yards per carry this year. It did not matter that what he was one of the worst rushers in the league because guess what? When you get 96 catches as a running back, you're basically a glorified receiver at that point.
Yeah. And you know what's, uh, hilarious? By the way, you can't do the whole 400 touches thing for, I guess you will be able to after this week because he's probably going to be playing games, but he actually has 399 touches this year. So, it would be really funny if he didn't hit 400. But all jokes aside, you can't draft scared. And unfortunately, we drafted a little scared. I wasn't drafting. I drafted Christian McCaffrey in baseball. I took my, you know, 8.3% and kind of was on my merry way. But I was pretty scared to draft this guy from a redraft standpoint because he did feel like the type of guy that loses you your league as opposed to wins you your league. But you know what? It's a one in 12 chance that you win your league. You got to take swings where it is. And, um, a lot of people, like I said, are going to do the whole, oh well, now this year he's coming off of a lot of touches. You know, the history of running backs who have that many touches and blah blah blah blah blah. You know what the difference is? Christian McCaffrey has 120 plus target upside. That's the difference. This is not Saquon Barkley from 2024. Saquon Barkley has nowhere near the vicinity of the receiving involvement that Christian McCaffrey had. And again, like you pointed out, Christian McCaffrey already sucked as a runner this year. And it didn't matter.
Dude, he could average 3.3 yards per carry next year. Guess what? If he's getting 80 plus targets, he's going to be a top five running back.
Exactly. And like I, I pose this question to you going into the season. I'm like, what if it looks more like Alvin Kamara's 2024 where it was like he's a top six running back in points per game? I think I want to readjust expectations to a healthy Christian McCaffrey is that as a floor. That's his floor. Like a top, like 18 point per game running back. That's his floor. Assuming he falls off from a talent perspective, maybe deals with a nagging hamstring injury, keeps him out one to three games next year. His floor is like 18 points per game in that situation. Assuming he doesn't suffer a catastrophic injury that keeps him out most of the year. Well, dude, I think the main thing here too is with no IUK, with no Deebo Samuel,
Jennings is a free agent.
Jennings is a free agent. I like Pearsall as well. Like they have a, you know, Jennings and Pearsall, fine duo, but realistically, those are the number three and four options in this offense. In the passing game, it is very clear when K.D. and McCaffrey are on the field, everything is designed for those guys in space.
Everything.
Yeah, no, this is this is just simply one of those times where you have to go, he's an outlier. Age curves don't apply. Um, all the traditional rules don't apply. Again, maybe you could have looked at, oh, when did LaDainian Tomlinson fall off? When did some of these other like truly elite running backs for fantasy fall off? You can. I just don't want to be the guy who fades Christian McCaffrey anymore.
You can tell me right now next year McCaffrey had 180 carries and I still think he'd be worth this pick.
Yeah. Yeah. He's that good, man. All right. You're on the board with 105 here.
Yeah. And like I said, it would come down to a couple of options. Obviously, you mentioned Ja'Marr Chase, kind of a staple in these discussions. And the last time you're getting him this cheap, um, he basically won leagues. I also think Jaxon Smith-Njigba deserves to be, you know, getting flowers here. If you want to go with a wide receiver, it'd be one of those two in my opinion, based off how the 2025 season has gone. If you want to go off the running back board, Devin Singletary would be my next player. I'm gonna lean JSN. Um, I just think the efficiency is way too much to ignore. He was, in my opinion, the most consistent player, uh, at wide receiver this year. Obviously, Puka on a per game basis, but once you also factor in he got hurt. Um, there, there's a little bit there. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba, man, he had one game all year outside of double digits. Basically 85% of his season he was scoring 20 plus fantasy points. On top of that, that was on a Seahawks offense that didn't even throw the football a ton. We could have a situation next year where, hey, maybe they're, you know, not as successful of a football team. Maybe they need to throw a little bit more. Maybe the defense aggresses a little bit. If you got JSN, league average level passing volume, what is he capable of? Because if this is what he's capable of on a team that's a bottom five pass attempt team in the league, watch out, man. 155 targets, over 1,700 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns. And I think honestly, he's proven as a top five talented wide receiver in the league right now.
Yeah, 3.87 yards per run kind of speaks for itself there. And like you said, two games this entire season in which he was not a top 13 receiver on any scoring week. Two games this entire year. It's it's hard to be this consistent, man. I guess the questions that could arise for Jaxon Smith-Njigba are what if his offensive coordinator gets a head coaching job, which is very, very likely of happening, I would say. Um, what if Jaxon Smith-Njigba himself, you know, is more 2.5 yards per run next year than he is 3.87, which was just a truly special kind of season. But again, you're you're kind of playing a range of outcomes game here. If you're taking him 105, 106, you're just hoping that yeah, like even in a down season, he's probably still a top 10 receiver or something like that. I am still not 100% convinced that Sam Darnold's this elite quarterback, but I am convinced that Jaxon Smith-Njigba was an elite wide receiver.
So, let me add a little bit of the context, too, because in 2024, keep in mind, he only really scored a bunch of his fantasy points in 2024 in the second half of the season. And despite that, he was still a top 10 wide receiver. So, I do think like he's kind of shown in 2024, even if it doesn't work out for half the year, he can still finish as the wide receiver nine in fantasy. Now, obviously, if he finishes the wide receiver nine, you took him in the mid-first. But if I know that the range of outcomes for JSN is the wide receiver nine versus the wide receiver 10 if he stays healthy, to me, that's one of the safest first round picks you can make. Yeah, he is very, um, CeeDee Lamb-esque in a way where you're like, "Yeah, at worst he's going to be like a top 10 receiver." And, um, JSN at 23 years old doing this too. Like he's not even in his prime yet. Like we're not even, like defenses were game planning against this guy already. He did have to move to the outside this year and make a transition. It's not like there's like some factor underlying where we're going, oh, this is how he falls off next year. It's really just if his quarterback plays well and he plays at the level he played this year, he's going to be a top five receiver.
Yeah, no, for sure. Um, but JSN off the board. You are picking next here and, uh, I think you...
I will be taking Ja'Marr Chase now. Yeah.
And I think with Jamar, again, like you kind of made reference to the last time you didn't have to spend the first, second, third pick on this guy. He had his 2024 season where he was the Triple Crown winner. He had 17 touchdowns, 1700 yards. Joe Burrow, had the team been successful that year, would have been an MVP candidate or probably the MVP in the NFL. The fact that Ja'Marr Chase had as much go wrong as went wrong this year and he was the wide receiver three with 19.3 points per game, I think that there's a stronger argument that Ja'Marr Chase is 101 than there is that he's, you know, not worthy of a top five pick. Um, because this is a dude that doesn't really project all that differently. Like when you go back and look at his season, sure, weeks one through five or one through six or whatever, he wasn't very good. But as soon as Joe Flacco comes into the fold and then of course when Joe Burrow comes back, you're looking at a guy who's averaging 10 plus targets a game, who has the ability, as we know with Jamar Chase, to score 50 on a single week, to score 40 on a single week, to consistently be 15, 20, 25, 30 points a game. So, uh, yeah, this is one of the safest picks on the board, and I imagine he'll probably go higher than 106. I think he'll probably be in the 101 to 103 range on like Underdog big board drafts, for example. Um, in running back heavy leagues, again, maybe you prefer the running backs, but I think he's got to this is the this is the top tier receivers for me. This is these three guys.
Yeah, I think these three receivers, these three running backs should be the first pick, uh, first six picks off the board in the majority of leagues. Again, you guys can, you know, keep this, uh, video bookmarked, see come August, come, you know, late July, what kind of the ADP looks like. I would honestly be shocked if these weren't the top six players in ADP.
Yeah. I mean, if Puka loses Stafford or something, like if anything dramatic gets banged up in OTAs or something like that, like there'd have to be some kind of dramatic changes for this to be the case.
Overall gets traded.
Let me just ask you this though again. Let's just say Puka actually lost Stafford. I think like he would still be six at lowest.
Yeah, I guess it would depend who the quarterback is that replaces Stafford, but, um, like if they have like Malik Willis or something because I think in that case you're probably not looking at Puka being this high.
Yeah. Now, um, I do think this is where the tier break is just based off what's happened in the 2025 season. I think if you want to go with a running back, Devin Singletary's kind of the guy that I'm eyeing on. If you want to go with a wide receiver, you can look at, you know, for me personally, Amon-Ra St. Brown. I know some people will be fans of A.J. Brown in this range. Uh, a couple options open up to me. I got to lean 20.2 points per game. Devin Singletary. Uh, I just think what he's been able to do in the midst of everything around him collapsing. The quarterback play has been inconsistent all year. Tua, Tua gets benched in the fantasy football playoffs for Singletary. And yet, man, he's still shown time and time again that he has one of the best ranges of outcomes at running back. When you combine the fact you're getting over 1,300 rushing yards, 85 targets, 5.7 yards per carry. By the way, that was another thing with Devin. People were like, "Oh, you know, he fell back down to earth, he must be a 4.4 yards per carry running back." Well, that jumped right back. We saw the Miami Dolphins ground game really, really correct the course. We saw what it looked like in 2023, 2024. The interior offensive line really struggled. That bounced back in a big way in 2025. Like you said, maybe it's a Malik Willis here next year. Maybe they make a swing at Kyler Murray. Like I would like to think that the quarterback that the Miami Dolphins bring in is going to be an upgrade to the Tua Tagovailoa duo that Devin Singletary had this year. So to me, this is one of the most consistent players in fantasy. And I think regardless of what the situation looks like, I feel confident in putting him as a mid-first round pick.
Yeah, there is, I would say, two or three major concerns with Devin Singletary, but you're kind of just trusting the talent to win out here. Over the last five games of the season, he had one game of over three targets. And a lot of that coincides with Tua not being the starter because Tua was throwing him the ball quite a bit. If Tua is not there, uh, and also the other major concern being is Mike McDaniel is not there, who operates this run game and who made it what it is and who obviously has used Devin Singletary in this very efficient way. Does that change the workload that he has? Does that change the split between him and Jaylen Wright and Olamide Zaccheaus and all the other guys in this backfield? So there's some concerns about Devin Singletary, who's the quarterback, who's the coach. Does this remain the same scheme? I think that Tua is the one that gets the axe, not the coach. Personally, I think what's going to end up happening. So if McDaniel's still there, then I feel very confident taking a guy who, by the way, was the only player this season, including Christian McCaffrey, including Puka Nacua, including all these guys to never have a game of single-digit fantasy points. Never. He was double-digit fantasy points in every single game.
Remarkable. You're just getting one of the best players at the position, which we know, given the context, if McDaniel is there, outside of Jaylen Waddle, I mean, is Greg Dulcich going to continue having a big role? Is Darren Waller even going to be back next year? Like, to me, if the Dolphins want to function on offense, they will need Devin Singletary as a receiver.
Yeah. And I, I mean, I don't think anybody's counting on Tyreek Hill, but what happens with him? Is he going to be back at some point? Is he going to retire? We, we have really no idea if he's tweeted. Maybe he would help the offense move the ball. We don't actually know what the situation is there.
He tweeted out deuces. So like I don't know. Like...
He's either retiring or not in Miami, I think, is the two outcomes that are likely.
Yeah. Regardless, again, obviously if McDaniel, you know, leaves, leaves this team, gets fired, I would change my tune a little bit, but but assuming McDaniel is back, I think Devin Singletary has, I mean, back-to-back top five finishes speaks for itself.
Yeah. And, um, I'm gonna take somebody that might be a little controversial, um, because I know you're gonna take James Cook anyways with the next pick. So I'll let you just talk about him. I'm gonna take James Cook.
I think that James belongs to go this high, man. I think he's played that well. He's in his prime. He's, uh, a player that is tethered to one of the safest and most easily projectable offenses in the NFL because the quarterback is Josh Allen. And he's kind of like Jahmyr Gibbs light, where yeah, you're gonna get your 11-point games, you're gonna get your 10-point games or whatever, but you're also gonna get your 35 bombs. You're also gonna get the games where James Cook goes 32 for 144 and three touchdowns or whatever. So, that's kind of what you're getting with James Cook. You're getting the spike week appeal and you're getting the elite week-winning upside. Um, but that's why he's kind of going 108 as opposed to like 103, 104.
Yeah, I that actually would have been my pick as well. Uh, I think him and Singletary have very similar profiles. I think with Singletary, I'm getting, in my opinion, a little bit of a better player. With James Cook, you're getting a little bit more attachment to a good offense. I think you can make the case, the argument for either or. Um, and yeah, I mean, I said last year, hey, it wasn't sustainable when you score 16 touchdowns on 207 carries. Well, it is sustainable when you score 12 on 307. The fact that he got...
307 carries.
Um, I remember my my period of time where I got really high on James Cook was after they paid him. I was like, "Oh, they paid him now. He's getting the ball." Yeah, and I mean, kudos to James Cook. He was always a good enough player to command this type of workload and we finally saw it fully materialize this year. So, um, yeah, back in first round pick, I think it's fully merited. I think whether you want to go James Cook, Devin Singletary, those would have been my next two players as well. You mentioned the name CeeDee Lamb is going to be off the board here. Um, when you actually look at the season for CeeDee Lamb, like outside of the pure raw points per game, you can argue that this is one of his better yardage seasons in the league, like 2.66 yards per run this year. Uh, this was on a season where realistically he battled the high ankle sprain. He played a game against Chicago with only 9% of the snaps left after the first series. But from a pure yardage perspective, man, like he was a consistent 90 plus each and every game. I actually think on the season as a whole when he was healthy, he averaged over 90 receiving yards per game. We need the touchdowns to go up, but as we know, this offense is one of the top five projectable offenses in the league. And Dak Prescott is, when he's healthy, going to throw the ball 30, 35 touchdown passes a year. He's late in the league in passing yet again. I think between him and Joe Burrow, those are the two best year-to-year projections in terms of passing yardage. So CeeDee Lamb, very safe. We know the ceiling as wide receiver one overall. We just haven't seen it in the last couple years.
Yeah. And the Cowboys, one thing I was a little concerned with coming into the year was like how much are they going to throw the ball because they have, you know, shoddy ball or whatever. Are they going to be running the ball more? I mean, your defense was bad enough that you had to throw the ball and you threw the ball the third most times in the NFL. I guess my question would be if the defense improves, does the offensive philosophy change at all? Do they want to not throw the ball as much as they do? And we also do have George Pickens, the impending free agent. Do they bring him back on a franchise tag? Do they sign him to a long-term extension? Do they, I doubt they would like tag and trade him or something like that. I think it's very likely that he's back with Dallas next year. Um, but I do think it's it's worth noting that Pickens did outscore CeeDee Lamb this year. So maybe some people are wondering, hey, if Lamb's going to go this high, how much further back is Pickens going to be?
Yeah, and a very reasonable, and spoiler alert, I'm assuming that George Pickens will actually hear his name called on this video, um, if you guys were wondering. But yeah, um, honestly, I just think the touchdowns were down. That's the main thing. Like when he scored as the wide receiver one in 2023, we saw 12 touchdowns. And guess what? He didn't score three touchdowns for lack of trying. Uh, CeeDee Lamb, the player, um, made a couple mistakes at the catch point. Probably could have scored three or four more touchdowns this year. And if we were looking back on it, if that number said 19.3 points per game as opposed to 15.1 when you contextualize that he left against Chicago, a lot of people would probably be more excited with what he did in 2025.
Yeah. Yeah. There's there's a couple things that you have to contextualize with CeeDee Lamb. I'm sure like casual league players are going to have him go lower than sharper league Underdog draft type of players because...
I hope he's cheaper. I [laughter]
I doubt you're going to get much more of a discount than this. I think this is about the range he's going to go. I've seen some people say he's not going to go to the mid-second round. It's like, well, yeah, maybe in your slappy's work league where no one knows what the [ __ ] they're doing. But most of the time, I think people are going to understand, um, how the bounce back occurs. I, I think this is a, a real kind of like breaking point for me where I go, okay, I think you could go a number of different directions here now. I think that these guys are all probably pretty chalky or at least semi-chalky. I think you could go with all these other receivers, whether it's an Amon-Ra, a London, Jefferson, even if you want to rise up somebody else like a Rashee Rice or something. You could maybe talk me into that. You could talk me into some of these other running backs like, are you just going with the running back early because the position is scarce or quote unquote that kind of stuff because then I think the player I'm going to take is a running back here and it'll be Jonathan Taylor. Yeah. Um, but you also could talk me into like, hey, Fernando Mendoza goes to the Las Vegas Raiders, they hire a young coaching staff. Like where's Ashton Gentry fall? Where does Amariyon Hampton fall? Where does Jeremiah Love, who's probably going to be a top 10 NFL draft pick at the running back position in the 2026 NFL draft, where does he fall in the first two rounds? Because I imagine his ADP will be in here somewhere.
Even Saquon Barkley for that matter, like where does he end up going? [laughter]
Yeah. I think my thought on Jonathan Taylor with why I'm picking him here is I said this about Jonathan Taylor going into the season. Anytime Jonathan Taylor has been in a top 15 scoring offense, he's been a top five fantasy running back. It's happened twice. 2021 when he had his, you know, big season, he was the best running back in fantasy. And then this year, prior to Daniel Jones getting injured, he was the RB1 in fantasy. So, when you have a good offense with Shane Steichen and whatever they do at quarterback, I think it will probably be Daniel Jones, they'll bring back on an affordable deal, bring in a bridge quarterback in case they need one. That'd be my guess, but we'll see what happens because Carly Ers Gordon says she wants to change things up. Whether that's the coaching staff or the quarterback, we don't know.
Does, uh, Mr. Daniel Jones start the year on the PUP off the Achilles tear? Worried about...
I would say Achilles for a quarterback, we've seen the last two examples not be very good of Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins. However, those guys were older than Daniel Jones.
Yeah, Jonathan Taylor to me is very polarizing because like you said, weeks 1 to 10, we weren't talking about is this guy the RB1 in fantasy. We were talking about is this guy the running back one all time in terms of the season he was having, like he was legitimately at at that point, what, 27, 28 point per game scorer, like he was...
We can pull it up here. Like JT [laughter] JT, look when the Colts were operating at an offensive level that was top 10, top five in the NFL, this was a guy who was like literally unstoppable. He was unstoppable. And the thing that won't change for Jonathan Taylor regardless of who the quarterback is next year is that this is a 20 plus carry per game running back projection. You are getting the volume that you want. And the volume is king because they follow the volume and hope for the efficiency because I've seen volume truthers, efficiency is going to be, but I'm going to trust the volume and the efficiency will either make him RB1 overall or RB13 overall, but I trusted the volume and it's a tight range of outcomes for that.
Yeah. And for, for what it's worth, I will give him credit because I feel like his profile is a lot more, I would say, consistent going into this year because we have the sample size of him being an actual receiver. 45, 44 catches, 365 receiving yards, 53 targets. Like coming off of last year where yeah, he was the big winner in the fantasy football playoff time. Our main question was how does the receiving yardage look?
Tripled his receptions this year.
That's what I mean. Like you're getting a lot more receiving usage. And I do have my concerns because we did see him fall off in the second half of the year. I don't know what the status of Daniel Jones is going to be. But to me, with Jonathan Taylor, it almost feels like the 2025 version of what 2024 Saquon Barkley was in the sense that it's going to be a runner that gets there on pure carries, that gets there on 5.2 plus yards per carry on the season and gets there on 15 plus rushing touchdowns. The main question that I have is if the offense is a little bit worse because Daniel Jones isn't fully healthy. If overall the Colts as a team kind of regress, how does that affect Jonathan Taylor? I think he's worthwhile to be picking at this range, you know, 109 through 112, but there will be some people that want to take him at the 105. And that's where I'll say, hey, let's, let's take it easy a bit.
Yeah. No, for sure. Like this is not going to be the only running back we talk about, um, in this video that had a very good start to the year and then maybe tapered off at the end. Um, there's one on the Green Bay Packers that did the exact same thing. So, um, yeah, it's these old, like, is it, is it the chicken or the egg? Did he fall off because of, uh, Daniel Jones' injury? Most likely. But could it have also been that he's a 27-year-old running back with a lot of touches under his belt and he started to lose some efficiency? Maybe a little bit. Um, but I will say that, uh, generally speaking, we feel pretty confident as long as the quarterback situation, coaching situation's pretty decent in Indianapolis that Jonathan Taylor belongs in the first round.
Yeah. And now I have a huge decision here because on one hand, you have year-to-year, like one of the safer projections at receiver with Amon-Ra. I mean, we're talking about wide receiver three, wide receiver, wide receiver three in terms of overall points, uh, on the season. Now, obviously points per game wise, a little bit lower in some of those years, but he plays 16 plus games a year. He's going to be a top five wide receiver in terms of points per game when he plays with Amon-Ra. But the other guy I'm considering is a guy that was outscoring him when he was fully healthy and when the offense didn't look like a complete shambles. Now the question for me is does Drake London's offense look like complete shambles with Michael Penix coming off the ACL with Kirk Cousins, again, fine quarterback option, but not one you're really excited about. That's the conversation we have to have here at this pick. I think me making the pick right now, I will lean Amon-Ra because I have a lot more questions with the Falcons offense. And again, the rationale is just going to be 1,200 plus yards, 10 plus touchdowns, you can book him into.
Yeah. And, uh, top three receiver in, um, fantasy points per game the last three years and, uh, like you said, wide receiver six in points per game overall. Yeah, 18 points per game is the is the floor with this guy, honestly. Like it, it has been the floor of this guy. And you can lock him in, like you said, for 1,200 plus yards, 10 plus touchdowns. He's going to be the guy there. And is Jameson Williams going to have touches? Is Sam LaPorta going to have touches? Um, Jahmyr Gibbs going to have touches? For sure. But this offense probably still will be one of the best in the league. And, um, you could sleep like a baby knowing that you drafted the best receiver or the most high volume target on their team.
Yeah, again, very close between him and London. And I just think Amon-Ra at this point has similar upside and is a safer bet.
Yeah. And we know that that Amon-Ra is capable of these weeks too, like the Rams game where he had number one scoring 41.4, 29.9 against the Giants, 39.1 or2 against the Bears. Like he, it's not like he's giving you 18 points every single week is his 18 points per game. Like he is, um, shown to be a very high ceiling weekly option as well. So yeah, if you didn't go with him, I would have, um, because I do think in this area of the draft, I am getting a little bit more in the in the range that I'm like, I don't really want to [ __ ] up the these first couple picks. I want to pick players that project well on great offenses. And Amon-Ra, it's, it's very hard to say that any of those are not true.
Yeah, absolutely. And I'm assuming, uh, Drake London would have been in consideration for you. Uh...
It would be, but I don't think I would have picked him. Um, I think I am going to go back to the running back position. And there's a couple guys that factor in here. I might get a little nutty with this one. Um...
There's four running backs.
I know who you're thinking about here.
There's four. [laughter]
I know who you're going to pick. You're going to say, assuming that nothing changes in the offseason, why shouldn't we be picking this guy here? Say the Canadian. I'm going to pick, but I'll say that Ashton Gentry, depending on what happens with his QB and offensive situation would definitely factor in because you get him, Fernando Mendoza, the offense turns it around. I don't think it's a bad pick to take Gentry this high because I think second year, getting a little bit more acclimated to the NFL, he could have a great season.
Well, we just talked about Drake London. I'll let you take the London, Ontario representative himself.
Yes, I will. Yeah, because Chase Brown will be the person that I am picking here. Again, so many ifs right now of does Joe Burrow stay, which I'm very much in the camp of the Bengals are not that [ __ ] stupid that they would actually trade Joe Burrow. Um, as long as long as Joe Burrow is here and as long as Chase Brown, who is not facing, let's call it a scary running back class in the upcoming NFL draft, as long as they don't do something crazy and sign Kenneth Walker or something like that, we're looking at Chase Brown being even better of a projection than he was going into this season because we now have multiple years of samples saying that, yeah, this dude can win leagues. I know it didn't start out great for Chase Brown. Absolutely was pretty bad for the first seven games of the season. This was virtually like a useless fantasy asset who was killing you week over week. Bedy's team lived and died by this guy in the Flock League. But from week eight onward, this is a 20 point per game running back. And in the finest, the final two weeks of the season, week 16 against Miami, number one running back. Week 17 against Arizona, number three running back. Burrow, Chase Brown, Ja'Marr Chase, T. Higgins. This is going to be a high-scoring offense.
Dude, I'm looking at the overall stats of his last two years and it's crazy how much they mimicked each other. Like...
Yeah, they're almost exactly the same season.
Literally in in totality as well. He had a little bit more targets this year overall. But in 2024, 229 for 997, 7 touchdowns. This year, 219 for 947, six touchdowns. We got a, of course, a little bit more receiving usage. 65 for 419 and four touchdowns versus 54 for 360 and four touchdowns. Last year in 16 games, 255 fantasy points. This year in 16 games, 263.6 fantasy points. The main thing, like you mentioned, though, we didn't have Joe...
Burrow for half the year. Like if he was able to do this across a full season, we could be looking at a guy that might, might even have been a mid-first round type of pick. Like, what's stopping him from being in the Devon Aan type of discussion if we got this on a full year basis?
Yeah. No, it's pretty straightforward to me. Maybe people are not gonna like this pick, but I, I, I feel very like, what's wrong with Chase Brown? Like, honestly, like, what's wrong with him? He's going to be on one of the best offenses in the league with one of the best quarterbacks in the league. He just had 82 targets as a third-year running back. And yes, there could be some backfield competition. Like Samaj Perine was a factor. Maybe they add a guy in the draft. Maybe they add a guy in free agency. But until that day comes, I like, they've already shown confidence in him by not adding last year. So, I think that it's possible that this is kind of he's the new Kairen where we all waited for the shoe to drop for Kairen Williams and some back to get added to the backfield and one did. Blake Corm was added with a third-round pick and it didn't matter, at least in the first season for Kairen Williams, where he still ended up finishing as a top eight or 10 running back that year. So, yeah, I think this is very clearly like a, you will not mess up on this pick assuming Chase Brown has the role he has right now.
New Kiran is actually a fantastic comp. I can't lie. That's a fantastic comp because it's like running back. Good profile for both of them. They were probably underdrafted. Both should have went like the third round of the NFL draft. Um, I'll let you kick it off here with the 2011. Maybe we could speed up these as we get into the second round.
Yep. Um, from London, Ontario to Mr. London. Uh, funny, of course, Drake from the Six. Uh, we're just talking about Ontario today because we are Ontario representatives, but pretty simple. When he was healthy, he was legitimately a difference-maker. He was the guy that was pacing with Puka and Jackson Smith-Njigba. Of course, missed the sustained period with the PCL strain. But as you see, be prior to that, I mean, a wide receiver 11 week, a W1 week one, week one, week five, week. Like we saw what the weekly upside looked like. Now, of course, he was a little bit volatile in that stretch, but at the same time, here, when you map out a player that can be a top five wide receiver on any given week, that can score you 30-plus points, 35-plus points, that can command you 16 targets, 14 targets. This is what a first-round, second-round turn type of wide receiver profile looks like.
Yeah. No, this is exactly what it looks like. And um, I think all of us wouldn't have been shocked if in a parallel universe Drake London was a 22-point per game receiver this year. All a lot of people like Matt Harmon, guys that, you know, kind of ball-knowers were like, this is a truly elite receiver in the NFL who's only 24 years old and had Pennock stayed healthy, had Penn been better, had Cousins been, you know, better, whatever the case is, had London stayed healthy, a lot of what-ifs with this season. But it does remind you quite a bit, honestly, of like when we have to piece together like the CD Lamb 2022, was it before he had his 2023 season that kind of reminds me of that a little bit. And Drake London could easily be one of the best receivers in fantasy, ala Jackson Smith-Njigba, this year.
He's going to be a CGL standout. [laughter]
Absolutely. Yeah, he is going to be a CGL standout. So, um, that would have been probably the direction I go with that next pick. Um, do I want to just keep the UNC trend going and just keep going back after these running backs over and over again? I think I'm going to, 'cause I still love some of these projections here. And I do think the way that the landscape of fantasy football is shifting is that, uh, the days of just hammering wide receivers over and over again, even in PPR leagues, to me, I just don't think they're, that's the optimal way to play it. Because there are plenty of wide receiver values in rounds four to seven, and there are not very many wide running back values that you're going to get that can put up the volume caliber of, of some of these guys. So, my pick here will be between, uh, Ashen Genty, Amari, and Hampton. Again, way too early to know where Jeremiah Love's going to go in the draft and what team he goes to and all that kind of stuff. But like, let's say he went to the Texans or the Chiefs or something. We could be talking about him as high as, as a pick like this, like early second round, late first round where Genty was going last year.
Are we going to keep him out of the exercise? Are we going to?
I want to put him in here because I think he's going to go this high.
I agree. That's why I was asking. Okay.
Yeah. Again, other guy like Barkley. I think Barkley definitely involved in this discussion as well. I think Jacobs even involved in this discussion. What happens with Travis ETN, who's a free agent after this year? Is he back in the conversation of a second-round running back because he's having the type of season that you'd love to see? I'm going to take Ashton Genty because I believed in the player coming into the NFL and he's, to me at least, proven his talent. What he hasn't proven is that the Raiders have the worst offensive line in football. Dead last yards before contact per attempt, which is an offensive line stat, not a running back stat. And when we've seen this guy with lanes, with good offensive performances, he's been able to perform. So, I'm gonna take Ashton Genty here and kind of do the whole trust the volume, hope for efficiency. They're going to get the first pick in the draft. They're going to pick Fernando Mendoza most likely, and they're going to have a much better situation, hopefully, for this young running back who's now entering year two. Remember going into the season, Danny, I said I could see Ashton Genty having Bijan Robinson's rookie season where he finishes as the RB 15 with like 15 points per game. Look at the screen. Where he was. Yeah, that's exactly where he was.
Yeah. No. Um, and I'm curious, the Raiders, I believe they're number one in the NFL in terms of projectable cap space as well. So, um, I mean, at least they're up there. They are currently 12 million, but they can clear some cap in the offseason. I'm telling you what, man. No matter what the cap is that they have available this offseason, go sign three starting offensive linemen and sleep like a baby.
Do what the Bears did last year when Ben Johnson came in. Go trade for an offensive lineman that may be available. Go add an offensive lineman in the draft. Go sign an offensive lineman in for free, for free agency. You got to do a lot. Now, again,
I got it. Million.
Yeah, that's crazy. Genty could very easily not be going anywhere near this range. But my projection here is that they will add the young quarterback. They will add pieces in free agency. They will probably hire a better coach because Pete Carroll is going to be out of there for sure. And this could look like a much different, vastly improved situation for Ashton Genty. So, even though you could say, "Yeah, this season doesn't belong at the two, the one-two turn where you're picking him right now." I could say that post, um, free agency, post-draft, we're projecting this Raiders offense to be much better. And even still, Ashton Genty, in this train wreck garbage season where he was a rookie, um, coming from a Mountain West college team, still finishes RB 15 in points per game this year. So, I think that we're looking at a much better situation for next season.
Yeah. No, I'm on page there. I think Genty would find his way probably like mid, mid, mid-ish type of second round for me as well. There's a couple receivers and a tight end that I would take higher. And I knew you weren't going to take the tight end. So, um, I'm just going to give him his respect. I think based off the season that he's had, uh, this is about where Bowers was going last year. And I would argue that McBride is just a better projection than what Bowers was last year because with Bowers, of course, you were talking about the, you know, potential ceiling. Obviously, as a player, we're looking at a potentially, you know, gold jacket future player. I think McBride has that, except we feel a lot better about his offense going forward. With McBride, the main question that we had coming in is, will this guy ever figure out how to score touchdowns? In his first three seasons, this guy had six total touchdowns. Well, guess what? That was a Kyler Murray stat. That wasn't a Trey McBride stat because as soon as Jacob Eason took over, I mean, we're looking at since week six, touchdown, two touchdowns, one touchdown, one touchdown, one touchdown, didn't score against the Jaguars, a touchdown against Tampa, didn't score against the Rams, two touchdowns against the Texans, didn't score against Atlanta, and he scores against Cincinnati. I mean, 302.4 fantasy points on the season. Tight end one by a landslide. And you're getting 140-plus targets. You're getting 110-plus receptions and you're getting 1,000-plus receiving yards. If you're getting this type of projection for, by the way, a 6'4", 250-pound tight end that proved this year he can score when he's in that red area. I mean, he's outscoring the wide receivers in this range. I don't think I can make a case, as much as I love Nico Collins, for taking him over Trey McBride, considering McBride scored 80 more fantasy points this year.
Yeah. And uh, I had McBride as tight end one going into the season, kind of for this very reason. Um,
I made the argument that the Raiders in 2024 were throwing the ball like crazy and I expected the Cardinals, who, if you remember going into the season, were projected to score like the 12th most points in the league by Vegas implied point totals. I'm like, dude, Trey McBride,
the threat of, um, Marvin Harrison was looking less scary after his rookie season and he was very clearly the type of regression candidate that is as obvious as you can possibly find. And I also said to him, like, if he scored his expected points per game last year, it was 19 fantasy points per game and he scored 19 fantasy points per game this season because his expected points per game actually came to fruition. He caught the balls he was supposed to catch in the red zone. Now, I guess the one concern would be, does the pass volume with Jacob Eason keep up? I don't think it does. Think about what happened to the Arizona Cardinals this year. James Conner tears his Achilles. Trey Benson hurts his knee. Even Dameon Pierce misses time. Like they were down to their like fourth and fifth string running backs. So, it's very possible that despite who the quarterback is, this is not nearly the pass-heavy unit that it is, um, this season.
Reason why I'm not as concerned about that is 'cause we saw him having this type of year and his yards per run actually dropped by .6. Like if you go down to the overall stats there, 1.81 yards per run versus 2.4, 2024. If that finds a middle bridge gap, like a 2.1, 2.15, I think that can offset maybe more raw volume in the offense.
Yeah. No, that's definitely fair. Um, let's, uh, let's speed her up here and, uh, we'll go through to the next pick here. I'm caught between running backs again. I, I, I just, I want to go back to the running back position.
I, um, what do I want to do here? Saquon Barkley, 14 fantasy points per game this year. Do I think at 29 years old he's going to get back to the Philadelphia Eagles level of dominance that we saw? I think he could for sure. I, I wouldn't rule him out in this range. Part of me wants to be like, "Holy [ __ ] dude. Amariyon Hampton's getting Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt back next year." Um, what happens to this Chargers offense with a second-year Amariyon Hampton with those tackles back? And I think
I think that's the direction I want to go here with this pick. I'm going to take Amariyon Hampton here.
I see.
Again, we're projecting forward here. We're projecting forward. Omariyon Hampton this season did not have Rashawn Slater the whole time, one of the best left tackles in football. Joe Alt missed a good portion of the season. And when he was healthy, when he was on the field performing, getting the workload, you could see it week three and four, what did he do with the workload? Two top seven scoring weeks. Um, the last, uh, week that we just saw him play, still only 14 carries and, um, but he gets the receiving work, eight targets, and then again, when he was healthy the previous time, we saw the seven, five, and six targets. This is a guy that you really do have to Frankenstein the profile for just a little bit. But knowing the caliber prospect he was, the first-round capital that he got, look at this Chargers offense, man. You get a healthy Justin Herbert behind the offensive line when healthy with Rashawn Slater, Joe Alt out there. You have this great young core of weapons, Lad Makoni, Quentin Johnston, Trey Harris, whatever other pieces Aronda Gatson that they have there. This could be one of the best teams in football next year and one of the best offenses for sure in football. So if you, if you, if lightning strikes on this on this Chargers offense, pun intended, and Amariyon Hampton's the starting running back for this team, we could see the Jonathan Taylor 2025 season out of Amariyon Hampton.
Yeah, he, he to me almost feels like the start of the next tier where there's like five or six guys I would say like very, very close-knit. And I'm totally cool if you want to project him here. The talent is there. He's going to have better offensive line play. He's a top-tier quarterback that we both believe in. And yeah, um, if he does live up to the Jonathan Taylor comparison, which we both said in an ideal world, that's what we could be potentially looking at with Omar Hampton, I totally think it's reasonable taking and projecting him, you know, here in the mid-sec. So, if I was to pick,
potentially a 60 to 80 target version of Jonathan Taylor as well.
Yeah. No, I, I'm on board there. Now, it's going to be my pick. And, um, you could make the case based off what's happened in 2025 that George Pickens could even be worth this pick. Now, I think I would still lean Nico over him. I'd be willing to bounce back and say, "Hey, this is more of a floor projection season. He dealt with injuries and we know that when he's fully operating, like he could be an 18, 19 point per game scorer." Like I think I would favor Nico Collins on face value. If I want to go at the running back position, you mentioned a couple of the names. One of the names that you didn't mention actually would be Trevian Henderson as well. I do think given the workload bump we saw, he would be meriting a pick in the mid to late second. So, I'm caught. Um, this might seem like a little bit of a cop-out. I'll take Nico here because I think I'm more likely to take Henderson at the next pick than you would.
Um, yeah, that's probably a good point. Um, and yeah, there's not much you can really say about Nico Collins aside from just, yeah, he plays with CJ Stroud, who's a good quarterback. He had, let's say, a fine season this year as opposed to what you guys probably expected from him where you took him because you, you definitely more so than me were on the camp that this could be a guy that has, you know, a 20-point per game season, 22-point per game season.
Uh, the inconsistencies were a problem for him. I, I would still be semi concerned about how much this Texans offense is throwing the football, uh, next year. We know defenses year-over-year usually don't translate one to one. You get a historic defense one year, you have an historic defense next year. You also have Jayden Higgins, Jaylen Null going into their second seasons, um, next year as opposed to being rookies this year. How does that affect Nico's target share? How does that affect the offense overall? So, there's moving parts for Nico Collins, but you're kind of just trusting the talent and trusting that he's a good quarterback.
Yeah, and I will say for what it's worth here, 120 targets in 15 games. Previous career high was 109 in 15 games. And like I said, we also have to contextualize that was with him, um, facing injuries throughout the season. So, we had games with 68% of the snaps, 51% of the snaps. When he is healthy and he's playing 75-plus, 80% of the snaps, playing 90% of the routes, like we see an 11 target game, a 15 target game, a 10 target game. There's no doubt in my mind from a pure ability standpoint, he's up there with the best receivers. It's just like you said, does the Texans volume basically indicate that he can get to that level? And I do think in the instances we saw him get the targets, we know that the 20 points per game is there. It's just again, profiles you kind of have to pick at a little bit. You have to Frankenstein them a little bit. That's the difference between a second-round projection versus versus a first-round pick.
Yeah. No, for sure. And I, uh, I am not going to take Trevian Henderson as you correctly identified, 'cause I would be semi-concerned about what Rhamondre Stevenson's role is there. And just Henderson's career history going back to Ohio State was teams viewed him more as a committee running back than they did as a workhorse guy. And, um, it took Stevenson injuries for him to be that workhorse guy. So that would be my one concern with Henderson. But I do think around the two-three turn is where I would feel comfortable taking somebody like him. I'm just going to go with the volume again. I'll trust Saquon Barkley to have a bounce-back season. He's still a very good running back. For whatever reason, the 400 touch narrative came true this year. Maybe this year, uh, going into 2026, he gets back to that efficiency. The Eagles also had some offensive line injuries up front. We don't know philosophically what's going to happen with like A.J. Brown, for example. He could be gone from the team. Um, generally, there's some, there's some uncertainty there. But very similar to your Collins pick, I'm just going to take a guy who I know is really good on a good team.
Yeah, sometimes it's as simple as that in fantasy. Uh, you can bet on the talent to be able to bounce back when you don't get the ceiling type of season. So, uh, I'm cool with that. Um, I'll take George Pickens here. Um, just 'cause I, based off what you said, I think I can push, push Henderson one more pick. Um, yeah, it's a very concentrated offense. We know that the Cowboys want to throw the football. We know C.D. Lamb is of course going to eat. He's going to be the number one in terms of volume on the other side. But at the same time, even if he is the number two in his offense, you're just getting a better version of what T. Higgins is in Cincinnati. 18 points per game playing next to a wide receiver getting 10 targets a game is something that not many players, period, are able to accomplish. So, um, George Pickens touchdown upside, big play upside, and I trust the quarterback and offensive situation.
Yeah, fantasy football regular season star for sure. Um, he was, he was great during the regular season and again, when Lamb came back, it kind of tapered off at the end of the season. Um, very similar to Higgins, I think you're, you, you kind of need to hope that the Cowboys are the offense that, see, like the 2026 Cowboys are that caliber of offense that they're able to support two top 10 wide receivers. And this level of draft capital on George Pickens to me would scare me off just a little bit. But also, you feel like the range of outcomes is pretty tight. And I've al, I've also talked about the fact that I think Pickens is a bit of a knucklehead. And if you pay him a big contract, I'm not sure how motivated he is. I, Pickens is just the type of guy that I want in his contract year, not the year after he gets his contract. To me, and maybe I'm just scarred from Brandon Aiyuk. It might just be that. Um, but it just, it screams to me that he has the best season of his career this year before he, he's about to get paid.
Yeah.
No, and I think that is reasonable. I think if you wanted to argue for Rashee, I didn't want to take him here because of the Mahomes injury. Um, if you want to argue with A.J. Brown, again, I just think there's a little bit more. It's funny because we just called Pickens the knucklehead. Um, A.J. Brown, it feels like has been like the knucklehead receiver this year. Like, is he going to be a?
Yeah, he's been a little bit up and down.
Um, he's obviously been dominant, so I, I do think he'll probably find his way in the second round. Like based off what he's done in the tail end of the season, but whether it's one of those three, you want to take Rice over him, you want to take A.J. Brown over him, I'll hear you. But to me, those are like the clear next three receivers next.
Yeah. And, um, this is a hard decision, man. Like the part of the draft you go, I could make a case for anybody. Like, I guess I'm just going to go with what I project. What do I project to happen in the offseason? What do I think will be the case come, uh, August. And if you guys think we're out of our freaking minds, again, go back to last year's video. We did a pretty decent job of predicting who would go where. Wasn't perfect, but like, other than Drake London, who I think we had go in the early third round, we pretty much predicted the top 18 players in some order for the most part. So, I do want to, um, think about what could happen in the offseason and what could potentially move players up and down the board. Like you said, with Rashee Rice, Rashee Rice has Patrick Mahomes week one. I don't really think there's any way he's not going in this range of the draft. I think he probably goes higher than this in most cases.
Hampton or Collins went.
Yeah. And then think about some of these other running backs like, what do we do with Trevian Henderson? What do we do with Bucky Irving? What do we do with, um, Josh Jacobs, who is presumably going to be on the Packers again next year and they're going to be a good team and he's going to get, you know, his usual 14, 16 on the ground or whatever. So, I'm going to, I'm going to do the thing. Who, when all else fails, I just know he's one of the best receivers, period, of all time, let alone, um, the, uh, the current state of the NFL. I do not know what's going to happen in Minnesota. I have no idea. Is it going to be J.J.? Is it going to be what I think will happen? This is my prediction. J.J. McCarthy gets competition. It's, yeah.
Somebody. Jacob Eason. Maybe it's somebody like that. And if things are not going well, then they pivot to that player. I don't know when it's going to happen. I don't know how, like, but McCarthy to me is was a high enough pick, high enough investment, has shown enough a brief amount of signs that you got to probably stick with him for one more year. But maybe Kevin O'Connell's up against it and he goes, "I can't do it with this guy. I need to trade him for Joe Burrow or whatever." Like, trade the farm for Joe Burrow. My only thing here is I'm just going to trust the talent of Justin Jefferson to bounce back.
Yeah. Um, I wouldn't have taken him here, but also keep in mind, I also have PTSD. Um, you guys at home can guess which week I traded for Justin Jefferson. I'll let you take a guess, too.
Um, I think it was week seven, wasn't it? Or week 10.
It was week nine. It was week nine. I get that game against Detroit. I'm feeling, okay, that's pretty solid. And then look at what I dealt with for the rest of the season. I mean, we're talking.
Score a touchdown the rest of the year. Eclipsed 450 receiving yards twice the entire season.
10-plus points in two of the games.
Just a mess, man. Just a mess.
That's how you go to Denny's. That's how you go to Denny's.
That's how you go to Denny's. Yeah. Trading away truly one of the skeleton keys of fantasy football this year for a guy in Justin Jefferson who was 11.4 points per game on the year and from that point onward was probably like seven to 10 points per game on the year. And it was funny because at the time when I made both those deals, uh, Jefferson plus Henry basically for Puka is how I evaluated him. But at the same time, like I got Addison back. I gave up Jaylen Moore. Like, yeah, like it, it didn't age well for me. But at the time I made it, people were on my side on that deal. The thing that really sucks though, you just think, oh well, like to the toilet bowl, you would have been fine then. Derrick Henry had a huge game. I then traded Derrick Henry for Trevian Henderson and Romeo Doubs. And Romeo Doubs was basically on IR within two weeks. He wasn't technically on IR, but may as well have been. Like that's how he was playing.
Yeah. No, bad. [laughter] You and I, we got to learn. This is the thing that you and I have to learn from the Flock League is that both of us.
Finished last because of trades.
I traded much better than I did last year. You traded much better last year than you did this year. We're never going to stop trading. That's our personality.
However, we might have to really think through range of outcomes on some of these trades a little bit better. But could anyone have seen this Justin Jefferson collapse coming? Probably not.
Yeah. Like when I acquired him, he was like a 16, 17 point per game scorer and the guy was averaging like eight points per game in my lineup. Like, no, even if you were saying, "Oh, J.J.'s back. He's going to be worse. He's going to be a 13, 14 point game play." Nobody envisioned him to be as bad as he was.
No, no one to be this bad. Like this is truly only he's only been elite in his NFL career. He's never had a down stretch of his career.
Until I had him.
Yeah.
Basically until I had him.
I'm just, I'm going to trust the talent. I don't know whether it's McCarthy in his second year as a starter, whether it's a different quarterback altogether, whether it's McCarthy plus, uh, Jacob Eason or somebody like that in, uh, in training camp battling it out. I just trust that Justin Jefferson will figure it out. That's, that's, that's why I made this pick.
Yeah. No, fully reasonable. If I don't roster him in the Flock League next year, you probably are looking at a league winner. So,
[laughter]
Um,
Justin Jefferson also screwing us in consecutive seasons, by the way.
Yeah.
He's been a common denominator for both of us finishing last.
It's pretty remarkable. Um, man, this is tough because I mentioned Henderson, but there's also like another clear guy here that might have been the reason why a lot of you guys won your fantasy leagues that I have to at least consider. Um, Derrick Henry, I think should be a late second-round pick. Um, if you want to argue him, you know, higher up, sure, I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt. Lamar Jackson could be healthy. Ravens offense probably going to be better next year. Um, that would be my discussion here if I want to go with running back at wide receiver. Like I said, kind of mentioned those other names. You want to go with a Rashee Rice. Again, I'm really concerned with what the Mahomes timeline is. Is it going to be a four-week PUP situation? We know Rashee Rice kind of gets there because of his attachment to Mahomes. We know realistically A.J. Brown, Jefferson, guys like that are better real-life receivers. So, it'd be between those options if I want to go wide receiver, Rice or A.J. Brown. If I want to go running back with Henry or Henderson, you took both rookie running backs. I want to have some fun. I'm going to go Trevian Henderson. Um, I understand Rhamondre is a concern, but at the same time, we have seen the workload heightened. We know what he is able to accomplish as a receiver out of the backfield. And on top of that, he's got an MVP level quarterback. Whether Drake Maye wins MVP or not,
I hope he doesn't because I bet on Stafford to win it in July.
It's going to be him or Stafford projecting forward. Stefon Diggs. What's going on with him legally? Hunter Henry, solid contributing tight end, but realistically not going to be an eight-plus target per game player. There's such an ambiguity factor with this Patriots receiving room that I wouldn't be shocked if it was a J.K. Dobbins level leap, specifically as a receiver. Now, obviously, as a rusher, you can say, well, he's inconsistent at times between the tackles. Sure, 5.2 yards per carry on the year. You give me 13 to 15 carries and six to eight targets per game, this guy's going to be a top five running back in fantasy. Yeah, he will be the Devon Achane projection that the projection bros won't like, but the, um, you know, the, I'm going to project a young running back to take a leap in his second year type of people will like. And if you guys recall, um, we were very in on Devon Achane when everyone was talking about Raheem Mostert and how he scored all the touchdowns and stuff. So, yeah, this is a very, um, FSE on brand leap guy that we would be in on. So, and Bucky and Chase Brown were the same thing for us last year. Um, where it was like we're expecting them to take the leap. We're expecting them to continue building upon their rookie season. So, yeah, I, I get the Trevian Henderson pick. I probably wouldn't have made it there. Um, but I do think, um, that is a very fair assessment of him.
Yeah. So, looking at his season, weeks 8 to 17. So, big large sample size. And again, keep this in mind, like he only had, you know, a 5.5 point week, a 2.2 point, an 8.2 point mixed in there. As a whole though, in that stretch, again, we always talk about with running backs, the late season stretch is typically where we see rookie shine. 15.7 points per game in that stretch. 14 rushing attempts per game, nearly at 13.78. And he was averaging 92 yards from scrimmage per game. If you can get the receiving volume up, because keep in mind, in that stretch, he wasn't even being used much as a receiver. 14 yards per game, 2.67 targets per game. We both think like if Trevion Henderson becomes a superstar in the NFL, it'll be because he takes that massive leap as a receiver. And if you guys do recall with J.K. Dobbins, um, it was, he let me take a look at his receiving usage as a rookie. Yeah, like he had 71 targets. He had 52 receptions. Even last year he only had 63 targets. But when a coaching staff realizes that this running back is damn good as a receiver, you see the leap to 89 targets this year. Look, if Henderson becomes J.K. Dobbins, obviously that's a big tall task to ask for, but because it is in the range of outcomes, I think a mid to late second is the worthwhile swing.
Yeah. Yeah. I know that's fair. I am going to do the fun thing as well here.
Yeah.
And I'm going to put in Julian Love as the, uh, placeholder.
Is am I going to be able to find him? Hold on. I am going to take Jeremiah Love, the running back from the University of Notre Dame. Is it going to let me do this? Am I going to have to put Jordan Love in? Um,
Josh Love.
Uh, Bryce Love.
Yeah, let's go Bryce Love. Yeah, we'll put Bryce Love in as the, uh, as the placeholder here. So, Jeremiah Love, for those of you guys that are unfamiliar, is the best running back in the 2026 draft. Um, the scouts, I'm not talking about myself, are all projecting him as a top 10 pick. Mel Kiper, um, those type of guys have said that he's comparable, if not better, than what Ashton Genty represented last year. Now, I'm going to run them through the prospect model. We got plenty of time to talk about how good of a prospect Jeremiah Love is this offseason. What I do know though is there are some teams in the realm of when I look at the draft order right now, the Tennessee Titans at four, the New York Jets at three, who could lose Breece Hall in free agency, the Arizona Cardinals at five, the Washington Commanders at seven, the New Orleans Saints at eight, the Kansas City Chiefs at nine, the, uh, I'm trying to look at some of these other teams here, the Dallas Cowboys at 14, if they lose Javonte Williams. Yeah.
There's teams. There are teams that fit the bill for they could take Jeremiah Love in the top 10 to 15 of the NFL draft or even as high as like four or five in the NFL draft and give him kind of workhorse touches right away. And this is a player who is just 20 years old, 30-plus targets in back-to-back seasons, 1,800 or 18 touchdowns, 1300 rushing yards in 12 games. He's the real deal. He's going to be on the caliber of Genty, Bijan, those types of, uh, prospects coming out. And I believe that he will at least be a second-round redraft pick.
Yeah, I'm in on that. Um, I, I do think this is appropriate range for him. You could even argue that as soon as the Hampton Genty picks, uh, depending on the landing spot,
Yeah, he goes to the Chiefs and the Texans or something like that. Yeah, he's probably going in the first round. This to me is like a better version of the prospect that we thought about with Travis Etienne where it's like plays for, um, I mean, obviously Clemson versus Notre Dame is comparable, uh, blue kind of, you know, programs.
Clemson better overall, but I would argue that Jeremiah is probably more of a complete prospect as opposed to Etienne.
Better receiver than Etienne was for sure.
Yeah. Um, and the draft capital, Etienne more of a mid-20s pick. Jeremiah Love, probably at this point, given the class, a lock.
Number nine overall on mock draft database right now. And most scouts are calling him one of the few blue chippers in the class, which means he could go higher than nine.
I, I wouldn't be shocked if he went seventh overall to the Commanders.
Yeah, seventh. Like I said, I, I wouldn't be shocked if he went fourth to Tennessee.
Spicy.
Like they have Tony Pollard who's 30 years old. They have Taj Spears who's got a lot of injury history. Arizona just lost James Conner to an Achilles tear. We don't know what they think of Benson. He could go as high as, like you said, top seven or eight in the draft, if not as high as top three to five.
Yeah, very good point. Um, I will take the UNC. I will take King Henry here. Um,
Yeah, that would have been my pick if I didn't take him for what it's worth.
It's not been pretty on the year. Um, like there was low points. Um, I rostered him and funny enough, probably his lowest points. Like if you go to his game logs, um, you guys can also guess when I had Derrick Henry on my team. Uh, take a wild guess. Um,
I bet it was probably that period of time where he wasn't producing. And I think the [laughter] deepest with Derrick Henry, too, you have to remember, is when is Derrick Henry going to thrive? Derrick Henry is going to thrive when the Baltimore Ravens are winning games. When the Baltimore Ravens are, you know, performing at a high level and Lamar Jackson's doing his thing and like, 'cause how does, look at Derrick Henry's best games? What are they?
I'm not even joking you.
I'm not even joking you. The two weeks I had Derrick Henry on my roster were weeks nine and 10.
Oh, nine and 10.
You can't make that up. Yeah, it's pretty. I mean, weeks 14 and 15 would have been worse, but yeah, the, the games that Derrick Henry goes off are no coincidence. The games that he finds the end zone in. So, when the Baltimore Ravens are scoring, he is going to be great. And if Lamar, if you believe in Lamar Jackson to bounce back, you probably need to think that Derrick Henry's probably going to be again somewhere in the realm of a top 15 scoring running back. Again, RB 11, 16.7 points per game. Not exactly what you had in mind if you took him 12th overall or something like that. Um, but if the Ravens bounce back and don't have nearly as bad of a season as they did this year, then you could probably expect Derrick Henry is worth a backend first or early second round pick.
Yeah. Um, similar to the other guys in this range, when they fall off, it's going to happen. But I don't want to miss out on a potential top five level season. If Derrick Henry is fully healthy, if this Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens offense isn't dealing with back issues, isn't dealing with all the [ __ ] they have this year. On top of that, um, if they lose this week, you're not even getting a first-place schedule. So, as we know, this guy gets stronger in the colder months. Uh, the big dog invading Lambeau did indeed, um, win Sam Sherman the best ball championship. So, shout out Sam Sham, Sam Sherman. He is going to find his way in this top 24.
Yep. And, um, there's three players that I'm considering here with this next pick. And also, similar to what we said with Derrick Henry or with McCaffrey, like I'm not going to be the guy that bets on this guy to fall off anymore. When it happens, you just take your lumps. You know that going in that he could fall off. And you know, the, the decline has not been rapid. It's not Todd Gurley level declines for these guys. They're slowly declining gracefully. They also, unlike some of these other old-school running backs, what does Derrick Henry spend? $2 million a year on his body or something like that? Like it's very clear that he's got stuff in place so that he doesn't decline at a rapid pace. Um, I think you were referring to Travis Etienne earlier when you said I have to actually consider this guy based on what he did. Maybe you weren't referring to him, but dude, Travis Etienne scored pretty much more points than most running backs in fantasy after his bye in week eight. And if he's back with Jacksonville, he's got to be in consideration for a pick this high. Josh Jacobs, of course, the first 12, 13 games season was absolutely a monster. Like you said, Kairen, a good option. Bucky Irving, we think everything kind of went wrong in Tampa Bay. No one really knows what happened, but we know it was bad, um, that happened there. And Rashad White is a free agent after this season. So, there's a very good chance that it will just be Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker there. What do I want to do? I don't know. I really don't. I am going to just take a staple, staple my guy here. No, I'm not. No, I'm not, because injury optimism has gotten me in trouble before. So, I'm not going to take a staple my guy. And I'm not going to take Rashee Rice either. I am going to take a player for my own favorite team because I do think that, uh, that Bucky Irving will bounce back in 2026, mainly just because like I said, Rashad White's a free agent. I think it's possible Todd Bowles is fired. I don't know for sure. There's buzz organizationally that we won't fire him. There's buzz on Buccaneers Twitter that he's probably the worst human to ever exist. So, what do we believe here? What do we believe? We don't know. If the Bucs lose to the Panthers and miss the playoffs, they're going to have a top 15 draft pick. And we don't know what's going to happen. But what I do know is that when Bucky Irving was healthy and getting touches, he was consistently a good RB1 level projection.
It sounds like Todd Bowles is just me in the flock league.
Yeah, pretty much. [laughter] So, what we have with Bucky Irving here is you're hoping that Evans comes back for another year. Godwin comes back. Well, he will be. Um, IA takes a step forward. Jaylen McMillan is healthy next year. Baker Mayfield is healthy next year because he clearly is not right now. The offensive line, who lost two starters for the majority of the season. Tristan Wirfs been in and out of the lineup as well. The Bucs got railed by the injury bug, including Bucky Irving himself. So, you're just betting on, hey, we got robbed of a Bucky Irving breakout. As you could see, the first four games of the season, it was ramping and trending in that direction. Look at, look at the first four games when Bucky Irving was healthy and the majority of the Bucs offense was healthy, it was trending towards the type of season that Chase Brown had at the end of the year, the type of season that Devon Achane had. Um, we didn't get it. Bucky Irving will be, in my opinion, a bounceback candidate next year.
Yeah. Uh, the efficiencies are going to be a concern, but like you said, the offensive line play is going to be a lot better for him. And we, we know what the efficiency looked like in 2024. You don't want to be making the same mistake that maybe some people did with Devon Achane. People said, "Hey, he finally crashed back down to earth. Look at the efficiency this year." And then goes out this year and has 5.5 yards per carry. Like
Yeah. And he was hurt the majority of the season, and so was his quarterback. So was O-line. Again, just wipe. My opinion on Tampa's season is that they should wash their hands of it. I don't think that Todd Bowles should get fired, um, because I think he's a good coach, but a lot of people do think he should get fired and they should bring in an offensive mind. I think he probably could. Um, but yeah, Bucky Irving is the guy that I'm going to go with. The guy that I was considering there was Malik Neighbors, but knowing that he, it took him what, three, four, five years to actually get the surgery on his knee after he tore his ACL, that makes me a little nervous. Even despite him only being 22 years old and having that youth factor and that elite athlete factor that usually bounces back from those caliber of injuries. It just sucks, man. 'Cause I think had he stayed healthy, we're talking about him as the only wide receiver, second-year wide receiver to actually live up to the expectations we had coming into the season at that end of the first-round territory was Puka and Neighbors. Those were the two guys I was leaving drafts with.
Well, again, let me put you under the microscope then. Um, we will spend zero time on rationale. Literally name by name. Let's go through the third. Name by name.
Name by name.
301. I will be taking Rashi Rice here.
All right. Rashid Rice it is. If I can actually do this here. Rashi Rice. God, I can't type. There we go. Rashi Rice for you.
Um, I shall venture to the running back position and take Josh Jacobs.
Reasonable. That would have been my next pick as well. Um, I don't want to take ETN here because I think Cororum or ETN, uh, Kairen here because I don't think I think Cororum's going to be a factor. Um, I will be going I'll go AJ Brown. I'll go AJ Brown. Let's say he gets traded to a team this offseason is number one.
AJ Brown, sure. Um, I think that's fair. Um, no one's mentioned Josh Allen yet for what it's worth. And Josh Allen's maybe worthy of going in this territory as well. Um, I will I will bite the bullet on Malik Neighbors now. I think third round is it's um, I'm capable of doing it here. Yep.
Obviously timelines and stuff if he's not ready for camp and he wouldn't go this high. I'm just saying he's young. He's an elite athlete. Let's see if he's ready.
Brock Bowers.
Yep. I think that's fair. Um, all right. You go in Brock Bowers. I look at the rest of the wide receiver positions. Anything sticks out to me? Uh, you took Rashi Rice already. We want to go T-Mac maybe for the upside that he takes a step forward. Do we want to go Rome? Garrett Wilson. I uh I sense a quarterback upgrade coming in New York, so I'm going to take uh I'm going to take Garrett Wilson here.
You ready?
Yeah. Luther Burden.
Luther Burden. I
Yeah.
Hey, I don't think this is very stomachable to me. Like I was worried and I am still worried for what it's worth that his ADP and underdog basketball mania is going to be 20 overall. Like I'm very worried about that. But I think this is stomachable to me. If you're like, "Hey, this is worth the risk. He could take a step forward." That's fair. For those of you that that caught completely like that completely caught you off guard, he is top three in the NFL in yards per run this year.
Yeah. No, he's been uh been very good uh when he's gotten opportunities to be clear. Um I uh I'll take Travis ETN here. I think he will be back with Jacksonville. Think about it. Travis ETN has never played college or NFL football without his starting quarterback from Clemson. Uh you think Trevor's gonna let him go anywhere? I don't think he is. I think Travis can be back.
Yeah. Um, for my BAL toot and bags, I wouldn't be too thrilled about that. But, uh, say Lvie, this is this feels like a drop off point. Um, I'm assuming, again, this might be a copout because he probably would have went higher with this context. I think Javvantee is going to be back on a one-year 6 to8 million deal. So, I'll take him here.
Okay. Javvante's back with the Cowboys in that scenario. That makes sense. Um I uh I think we got to put some respect on uh a very very good season on a very very bad football team. So I'll take Chris Lab there.
Yep. Would have been my next wide receiver. Um
we don't know what Shuck is Shuck going to be the quarterback. I think he's played well enough that he probably is next year.
Give me T. Higgins here.
T. Higgins. Yeah. I think that's fair. No different of a projection. Same with Jamar Chase. Like we said, there's no different of a projection on T. Higgins next year as there was going into this season. So, the fact that you're getting a discount here and I I tend to think you would actually probably go higher than like Garrett Wilson, Luther Burton type. So, maybe we'll be off on that assessment. Um, this feels like a worthwhile swing to take the best quarterback in fantasy football here. I I will take Josh Allen here.
Yeah, I like that. Um, a guy like Jameson Williams could find his way here pending in the Leaporta news.
Roman, Tedo McMillan. Yep. Uh, we'll see what happens with Brian Thomas Jr. and Marvin Harrison. are kind of mankyear receivers are really just kind of question marks right now.
If somebody was really high on RJ Harvey, you can argue him in this range too. He finished the year very strong and Kenneth Walker both could sign big money contracts in free agency to be starters elsewhere. Or maybe Bree is back with the Jets and the situation's improved or Kenneth Walker maybe like those guys being gone would be probably better for their fantasy values. Let's be honest.
Yeah. Like to me after Bowers, we start to get more of the projection range. Like you're projecting with Garrett Wilson, it's going to be the number one offense. You're probably going to get a quarterback. You're looking with Luther Burton. If he can be the number one on the Chicago Bears, the way Caleb's been playing, the way he's been playing himself, you're looking at untapped upside. ETN obviously what he did this year. Javvante likewise in Seattle, he could be going too. Well, 100 Ken Walker where if he go go somewhere where he can be a legitimate 20 touch per game type of back like we saw what it looked like on a per game basis in 2024 just unfortunately the 2025 workload didn't match that.
Yeah. And you mentioned Kairen already as well. I think
um R I don't think did you mention RJ Harvey? RJ Harvey potentially as well.
RJ Harvey honestly like I'm looking at it right now if if Javvante doesn't didn't return to the Cowboys you could even make the case that he should be in that pick where Javvante was.
Yeah. And we didn't uh we didn't have Ted McMillan come off the board either. And I think T-Mac definitely would find his way in here.
And I want Bears. Bears offense is going to be a popular stacking thing. So Romo Dun going this high. Wouldn't shock me either.
Yeah. And then and I don't think he'll go in the same round as Allen, but in the fourth round, you'd probably be remiss if you didn't mention a guy like Drake May.
Yeah. And you also should mention uh because for the memes, um Zay Flowers had a great season this year, but the Ravens didn't.
Yeah. No, not wrong. Uh a bunch of options. Again, it's going to be a fun fantasy football year. Didn't mention him.
Yeah. If you guys are watching, by the way, an hour 16 in, we truly appreciate you guys. Again, we're just talking ball, trying to project out what's going to happen next year. We'll see how much of this changes in August, but like you said, when we did this exercise last year, a lot of it kind of remained the same.
Yeah, there was only like two or three names where I was like, "Yeah, we were pretty off base on that." But for the most part, everybody was within like 12 picks of where they actually went.
Yeah, for sure. Based on this board for you guys, by the way, comment down below what pick number you like the best.
Yeah. Yeah. And also, is there too many running back? We went, this is the most running backs we've had in the first two rounds in a while. And it was mainly my doing, but I just I feel like there's a lot of good running back projections next year.
Yeah, valid. I mean, we saw kind of how the scoring kind of went this year. What uh wide receiver three in scoring scored similar amounts to what RB8 if I'm not mistaken?
Yeah, there was I think how many we had, I think, six or seven guys score over 20 points per game at running back this year.
Yeah, like uh we had six guys score above 18 for reference. the wide receiver four this year uh which was a monor was at 18.7. Wide receiver five was at George Pickkins at 18.1. Like a lot of the league winners actually did come at running back.
