David Wilcock Statement - The Truth behind 04/20/26

Hello. My name's Jude. Uh, you may have seen me briefly in some of David's videos that he would post on his weekly show, or hear him name-drop from time to time. I'm one of the closer friends that he kept in his intimate circle. There are a few of us. Um, and I'm going to talk about some of the other people in that circle later in this video.

I am going to read some things off my laptop. Uh, unlike David, I'm not great in front of the camera. Um, I'm a photographer by trade, so I'm better behind the camera. Um, if I get emotional and lose it during some parts of this video, I'll apologize ahead of time. The past few days have been, uh, incredibly difficult. Um, I know for you all, uh, as well as for the family, obviously. Um, his mother, his father, and his brother. Uh, I've been in contact with all of them, and they are doing okay, as I guess, as well as you could in a situation like this. Um, they've been, they're incredibly resilient, beautiful people, just like David. And, um, and I've worked closely with them to make sure that the words I say today, uh, fall in line with their wishes, as well as David's. Um

Today, I'm going to be reading statements, uh, from the family. Uh, and also from David. Uh, believe it or not, the big mic drop here, the big bombshell, is David actually did write a letter. Um, I'm not going to get into real specifics of the more, uh, um, some of the details of, of what happened. I, I want to skip out of respect to the family. Um, we will go over an event timeline. I'm not sure if it's going to be in this video or in another video, uh, because I'm still piecing that together along with another good friend of his. We were, actually, I was the last person to talk to David, um, on the morning, on Monday morning of 4/20. Um, but there were certainly many conversations leading up to that day. You're all aware of what a great show Sunday was. Um, and I'm going to address some of these topics because there's been a lot of speculation, a lot of internet rumors. The truth is, I haven't watched any videos from anybody else at this point because I just wanted to work with the family. So, I guess I don't even care what other people are saying. I, I did hop on the live chat of his last, of Sunday's show. And a lot of, obviously, everybody's hurting. There is a lot of speculation. Uh, and I'll just say right now, we have pretty conclusive proof. Um, written proof. Uh, I personally talked to one of the sheriffs at the scene. I've talked to his brother, um, who talked to the coroner. Um, we have a statement letter both from David's brother, as well as David himself, literally left a message for all of you, his community. Um, obviously, this is an incredibly difficult video and for me to talk about it, my mind is going in so many places, so I'm just going to get started, but I'll start with a brief introduction of who I am. Um, and then, and then we can just proceed, and I may or may not finish. We may, we may do some live videos as soon as I have enough subscribers to allow that. Um, and more information from family as we find more things out. His autopsy was released yesterday. Um, and it is confirmed David is no longer with us. Um, nothing incredibly conspiratorial or, um, it's, well, it's not cut and dry, and there are many questions which I don't think I can resolve this entire situation today. Um, the two theories that are going on right now are both actually correct. So, but we'll get into that.

Uh, okay. So, my friendship with David started in 1988 in high school, so we go way back. Um, he's my longest-running friend. Um, we first connected on matters of spirituality, metaphysics, philosophy, science, space exploration, astronomy, astrophysics, and etc. And we have remained lifelong friends, even though we have gone through periods of time that we did not speak every day. Um, but that was one of the beautiful things about the relationship. We could just kind of pick up where we left off, and we both really loved that. Um, important events, we were generally, I was at his wedding. He was at my wedding. Um, my last in-person visit with him was July of 2025. I will be sharing some of these images and videos that I took during that time. It was a really beautiful time. I got to see him in Nederland, Colorado. Um, we spent time talking, hiking, uh, and actually digging for gems, of which I brought one with me today, just because it's near and dear to my heart and to have some of David's energy with us today. He was at the, actually collecting all these gemstones for you guys. He was planning to, to give them out, um, at one of his launches or events. So, we spent literally days digging them up from his property, um, and then actually cleaning them and purifying them so they would be in a beautiful state to be able to use for, for, uh, for you guys. So, this is near and dear to my heart. It's the only one I have, even though we collected, I think, close to 500 of them. I do have images of that experience that I will share with you down the line. Uh, it was interesting because the timing of that visit was when the real spiral started, um, with David. >> [clears throat] >> And, um, it was synchronistic because we had the day before he got some letters involving some legal issues, which I'm not going to get into some of those specifics of business dealings or legal issues. But he did have a lot of incredibly nuanced and complicated events happening in his life that seemed to pile one on top of another and made it seem, um, like it was an insurmountable task for him to, uh, continue his life. And, um, one of the things we did was we went collecting sage on his property and made these sage sticks, and you know, all you new agers and people know that, you know, burning the sage and having the sage around helps clear out some of the dark energy and, and, uh, we knew that was kind of coming for some weird reason. And, um, and we hung the sage up right above his dinner table. And the next day he gets, you know, a really negative letter concerning some business dealings and, uh, just more stressors in his life. Um

The reason why we feel so kind of adamant and sure about some of the things that went down is he, he spelled it out, and he told us. And, uh, I talked to David every single day from July up until the 20th of this month. We spoke every day. Uh, sometimes hours. Um, there's another friend who may come and do a video, may speak, or may not. He's, he's thinking about it. But he clocked a lot more time than I did. He was on the phone for hours with David every single day. And David even mentions him in some videos, too. Because [snorts] he's, he's very sick and bedridden. So, he actually had the time to talk on the phone with David every single day. Sometimes for 8 to 10 hours. I know that sounds unbelievable, but I wasn't the only person in David's circle and, and, uh, during that time. And so, other people get credit for kind of helping him and coaching him through this rough period. Um, and it's, uh, his other friend is his mother and, and brother. We're all instrumental during this period. Uh, I'm going to read the statement. Basically, the two things I'm going to read for you today did just become public information today, I believe, and I will link to it in the bio. Uh, from the Boulder, I think Boulder County Sheriff's Department, I believe, because his brother released the final draft version today of, um, their obituary statement. And also released an excerpt of the letter. I have the letter in its entirety. Only, uh, I'll read it to you because there's a redacted and I can post these later, too, if people want to see. Um, but there's only one, uh, section of the last will and testament letter that was meant to be public, but I will read that for you guys. I'm going to start by reading the family's statement.

"David Wilcock took his own life on April 20th, 2026, after a long struggle with depression and overwhelming financial debt. His family and chosen family hope this loss encourages more focused attention to mental health care access. David was born March 8th, 1973, in Schenectady, New York. During his childhood in Upstate New York, he was a curious, sensitive, introspective child. Drawn to reading, science, research, and questions about how the universe works, he spent much of his time journaling and developing a vibrant, imaginative inner life. He laughed easily and had a big heart. He loved animals, meditation, music, journaling, >> [snorts] >> uh, scientific study, and lemon cake. From childhood, he had a deep curiosity, curiosity about telepathy, lucid dreaming, the occult, palmistry, and predictions of Nostradamus."

So, these are, I'll just say a personal note. This is around the time that I met him. Uh, because he got me reading many of the books that would kind of open my mind, um, when I was that age, as well. And we met in, I think it was the summer of after we had finished 9th grade going into 10th grade. So, the summer after 9th grade. Um, like many young people, he experienced painful periods of struggle and difficulty. David grew up in a close-knit family that cherished music and art. He was in his first band as a teenager and played many instruments throughout his life. Uh, the first band that I was in with him was called Jude and the Sewer Rats. And then later the name was changed to the Sewer Rats because they, it wasn't thought that I deserved to hold the title of the band name. So, it was just changed to the Sewer Rats, and, um, I played bass and keyboards. David's brother was the lead singer and wrote a lot of the songs, and David played drums. I think we had Andy on guitar, and he's, he's now a professional recording, I think, like metal musician in Brooklyn, New York. Um, he developed strong interests in psychology, spirituality, subjects that would later shape his ethos and vocation. He attended State University of New York at New Paltz and received a bachelor's degree in psychology. We kept in touch all through college. I was supposed to go to the same college for reasons of love, I decided not to. I stayed closer. I stayed at, uh, University of Albany, which is close to the town that we grew up in. Uh, David spent his life writing extensively about subjects he was deeply invested in. Some of, some of David's most consistent messages concern the importance of focusing one's energy on the service to others and the divinity of all human life, and he cultivated a wide community around him based on these tenets. Part of the reason I'm doing this video today is I want to keep that memory and spirit alive of David and want to have a safe community for all the people that believe in that cause to, uh, to try for us to come together and try to keep that memory alive, however we can. Um, so, whether it's through videos that I'm going to post, images of our past, um, I also want to hear from you guys. Um, if you guys met him, um, at a conference or just on the street. Um, David was kind enough, generally, um, I remember moments, not so much in Colorado, but in California when he lived in Topanga and Malibu, we would go to the grocery store, somebody would recognize him, and he would stop and talk to them for 40 or 50 minutes. And I would just be standing there with groceries. But he cared enough that he would, you know, gave to everybody. Most generally, if he had the time and wasn't in a big rush, he would just talk to everybody. And, um, I guess that was one of the beautiful things. He could just get along with everybody. >> [snorts] [sighs] >> He was known to the world as a New York Times best-selling author with a voluminous body of writing, including the books *The Source Field Investigations*, *The Synchronicity Key*, *The Ascension Mysteries*, *Awakening in the Dream*, and *The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce*, co-authored with Winfrey. Um, a lot to unpack there, so as many of you know, um, which is not helping to diffuse any conspiracy, Winfrey died, I think, a day or two before David. Which I would have to say is a very strange synchronicity. And, uh, it's going to take me a while to unpack that one. I don't quite understand that one. Um, David was widely known as a media personality, a lecturer examining issues such as UFOs, UAPs, and the paranormal. But this only tells a part of the story of a life that, like any other, unfolded through internal struggles, evolving beliefs, and a quest for meaning. David lived in a time shaped by the internet. And he himself shaped a segment of it. This powerful medium of communication magnifies both connection and confusion. Ideals travel quickly, expand logarithmically, and reshape thought structures. In remembering David, it's important to hold more than one truth at once. That some of his work raised concerns about misinformation. That he was also a person who was on an eternal quest for clarity. And that's one of the things that I love and loved about him. Was he was on that quest. I'll have, I'll make, uh, commentary on some of this, I think, in another video, because this is probably going long enough, and I'm going to finish this, and then I'll go to the letter that he left all of you. And I will include, I believe this is now most of it public information, and I will include that link so that you can see, um, I didn't manufacture this. So, there's validation from other sources other than [snorts] me. Beyond his public persona, sorry. I already read this, but I'll read it again. He was a human navigating the same complexities and vulnerabilities that shape all of our lives. His passing is a reminder of how important it is to meet one another with open minds and compassion in our hearts. The loss of a life can turn our focus to our shared humanity, whether we agree on life's unanswered questions or not. David Wilcock's life will be remembered in a myriad of ways by many different people because of the far-reaching nature of his teachings and because he considered his audience a community. While he was known as a charismatic and engaging teacher to fans, those who were closest to him knew the depths of his untreated mental health struggles intimately. Many who knew him from afar have speculated that there is a cover-up involving his death, but we can assure you there was no foul play. The end of this is, uh, basically just says if you or someone you know is battling with thoughts of suicide, call or text 988, the suicide crisis hotline. To honor David's memory and support others experiencing mental health struggles, donations may be made in his name to the crisis text line. I'll link, I'm going to, I'll link this [snorts] for you guys as well. Um, yeah, I think his family wanted to try to dispel internet rumors, um, by saying there's no foul play. And I agree with no foul play. I do think it is a new subject, complex. And a lot of his fears were real. And there are some odd synchronistic events that will unfold in the timeline, um, that we can talk about. Don't think it's a conspiracy. But it's certainly a dialectic. >> [laughter] >> We, we, uh, talked over David and I, and some of my study partners have been talking about the word like dialectical and, uh, the difference between the dialectical and, uh, paradox, and, uh, that two things can be true, generally opposite, but true at the same time. The dialectic is when we don't resolve them, we just accept those two situations and live with, within them. So, yes, you, the audience, are correct when you looked at David's last [snorts] show and said, you know, he was making anti-self-harm comments on his show. That's true. He did make that, and he was staunchly opposed to, he knew the spiritual and karmic implications of taking one's life. He was well aware. We discussed it many times. Um, but I think that's part of the dialectic. Uh, when you're, actually, why don't I read his, let me read David's letter to you guys and you can decide for yourself. Again, um, I believe this went public today. I will post a link. Uh, so there's substantiation. And, uh, moving forward, I'll be able to pop up, um, so you can read what I'm seeing on the laptop. I don't have a board switcher right now, so I'm just running on kind of a low-fi operation here. Um, this is an excerpt. I mean, if you want to know all the background information, we can get into that later, but basically, um, in one of the last conversations I had with David, he had disclosed to me that he had written this important letter and sent it to his lawyer. This was the lawyer for, uh, I believe Stillness in Motion and maybe some of his other business holdings, I'm not sure. I never met the lawyer. Um, he never told me or disclosed to me what was in, sorry, I'm checking [snorts] my mic battery because it died earlier, but we're okay. He never disclosed to me the contents of the letter, but he was worried about the contents of the letter and he was worried about what his lawyer, uh, might, um, interpret it as or worried about his lawyer's response. Anyway, this is an excerpt that his brother, uh, emailed to me. I have the entire letter. I can't read the entire letter because the, uh, part of it is, uh, private. But I'll, I'll read what Michael, what, uh, his brother Michael released to the public. Uh, okay, here's the final portion of the document. I'm going to start with that because he talks about, this is from David.

"I also ask that this document remain confidential to preserve the security of the names, situations iterated herein, apart from portions of the last paragraph on the first page, if appropriate. I hope that this serves as a valid outline for path forward in the event that I was lost, comma, and that I have your forgiveness. I feel I have done the best I could do in a very difficult situation."

And then he signs this, and it's, and it's David Wilcock, Saturday, April 18th, 2026. And this is the part that he wants you all to hear as his family and audience.

"I do deeply apologize to everyone if something like an accident ended up happening. Thank you for loving me. I feel I have done the very best that I could. My health has collapsed from poverty, starvation, and disease. I also now almost completely, I have also now almost completely run out of money. I did my very best to keep on going for as long as I could. For my family, friends, and all of my greater family of supporters, I want you to know how much I love you and how sorry I am if something ended up happening to me. I know that accidents are possible in my reduced state. So very intense."

Um, his brother then basically is thanking, um, some of the investigators and law enforcement. Uh, I myself spoke with, uh, one of the responding officers who unfortunately witnessed the situation. The timeline has been released from the Boulder County Sheriff's Department. I can read it to you, but it is available publicly. Um, actually, why don't I read it to you and then I'll link it if you guys want it. And then I think I'll conclude the video for today because I don't want it to be too long. Um, and we can break down the timeline of how I was involved, how his other friend was involved, and, uh, the last conversation I had with him. And, um, and what I think we should do moving forward. Uh, the whole purpose of this video is to explain to you guys that I want to keep David's flame alive. I want to keep his community alive. And so I would like this channel to be a safe haven. Um, although we didn't always align on everything politically, uh, we aligned on many of the universal truths. Um, one of the beautiful things about David that you guys are well aware of is he was able to marry science, religion, and philosophy and able to connect the dots. Um, which is one of the beautiful things he did. He helped open our mind to be, uh, more accepting of people that don't necessarily believe the same religious or political, uh, concepts or ideas or worldviews, and for us to just distill it down to the basic message of love and acceptance. Um, and that's what's beautiful, and I want to keep that alive in his honor. Uh, I actually changed my mind. I, I don't want to read the timeline events. It's just, uh, kind of hits too close to home right now. But I will post it for you guys to read. Um, and if enough people ask, I guess I could read it tomorrow, but I'll post it. It's publicly available now. Boulder County, Bol, Boulder County.gov. Um

What I will do is close, uh, with a little statement. I, again, um, I want to keep this channel of communication open. I want to hear from you guys. I don't have an update on what's going to happen to his website. Um, I did review the will. I do know the webmaster. But I don't know what the family's plans are. I can try to find that out if that's a question that you guys have. I know a lot of people were, um, a lot of people on the speeds are telling other people to try to archive, uh, his work, which I do think is important, and I will discuss that with his brother to see what they're doing, uh, to address that. Um, I'll be trying to livestream from my channel, assuming I get, um, enough subscribers to be able to do that, because I want to continue talking about it. Uh, it's, it's way that I'm able to work on my own grief. But I want to keep it positive. Again, I want to, um, try to keep David's memory and, and body of work alive. Um, I'm not by any means saying that I can hold a candle to what David did and does and has done. His body of work is incredibly, impressive. And, uh, he's logged more time and research than probably anybody else I know in the field. Um, but I do want to keep this space open as a safe haven for the truth-seeking community. Um, and I want all you people to be okay, and we can end the show by doing a small moment of silence. He loved his mass meditation and global prayers. And if I have the opportunity to continue that, I will do that. I don't know if this is the right space or if I'm the right person to carry that on for him. I don't know. Um, but I hope all you guys are okay, and, and I want to stress the importance of having, having your mental health, uh, checked often. I myself struggle with depression. I'm being treated for depression. Um, I come from a long line of people. My mother's mentally ill. Uh, both my kids go, go to therapists. It's a, it's a rough world out there. So, don't be shy. Don't be ashamed. You can get help. Um, it's like going to the gym. You need to keep your body, mind, and spirit in tip-top shape. And some of these things that we discussed today, I think it's, um, easier to see what happened to David and, and the spiraling path down that just wore him down to the point where he thought there was no other options. And, um, and some of his health concerns were completely legitimate. And, uh, we might know more. Um, I haven't fully talked about all the autopsy results with, with his brother as far as if he did have some of the health conditions that he was concerned about. Uh, but we will address that in the future. Please, if there's comments, things that I can do better, um, this is my first YouTube video, literally. So, bear with me. Um, thank you all. Let's have a moment of silence. Um, and bow our heads and try to, try to appreciate what David meant to all of us. Um, because I don't even have the words, um, to say what he meant to me. And I'm sure there's a lot of other people out there that feel the same way. So, thank you, universe. Thank you, Hashem. For allowing us to spend the time we did with David. And we were honored to do that. And, uh, we hope to carry the torch forward. And we hope to be a light unto the world in a dark place. And, uh, lead by example. And try to perpetuate love, kindness, and compassion instead of fear and sorrow. Amen. Good night.
