Leftists Want To KILL California's Last Nuclear Plant

It has nothing to do with needing the power. It has nothing to do with money, with the economy. It has everything to do with politics.

I hate that lady. I just want you guys to all know to open this video that this old lady right here, I don't care if she's a grandma. I don't care if she bakes amazing cookies. I hate her. I hate her face. Her face makes me angry. It makes me want to say very bad things on the internet.com because this is one of the people behind the future closure of California's last nuclear power plant. And the reason for this is because she's an environmentalist. She's somebody who's concerned about mother earth. And as we all know, nuclear energy, the cleanest, safest, smallest footprint energy that actually works, needs to be done away with in order to save mother earth. This is ridiculous. This is insanity and it's a perfect distillation of why environmentalists are probably the worst humans on planet Earth and they make everything significantly worse, including the environment. Including the environment, including the issue that they say that they care about the absolute most. They make that significantly worse and is through their vehement opposition to nuclear energy.

So, this is what we're going to talk about today. Because this nuclear power plant, the last one in the state of California, provides almost 20% of the entire state's clean energy and it is set to be closed in 2029. It was recently delayed, and thank God for that if you're a resident of California. But yeah, it's going to be shuttered. No new nuclear power plants are going to be built. And the only reason for the delay is so Gavin Newsome could run for president in 2028 and not have this hanging over his head. So this is what we're going to talk about today, this is what we're going to discuss. But before we do, I want to thank everybody who supports this channel via actualjusticewarrior.com/join.

I give me the money. Give you give me the money. Okay.

So the propaganda against nuclear energy in this nation is immense. And this is probably because a lot of people associate it with nuclear bombs. Even though again nuclear energy has no chance, no chance, you have no chance of actually blowing up like an atomic bomb. In fact it is one of the things that we can use to denuclearize the world in terms of atomic bombs because in theory you could take nuclear warheads and actually use them for clean affordable energy that by the way is some of the cheapest most reliable energy that we can actually have. And by the way, we've seen this experiment play out across the world. Germany very famously closed four nuclear power plants. And by the way, all of their carbon gains with green energy that they had over the course of years where they invested a crap ton of money into solar and wind were undone by the closure of those four nuclear power plants because nuclear energy actually works. It's actually environmentally conscious. And in addition to that, it doesn't require you, if you're in a nation like Germany, to be reliant on Russian oil and gas, which was the result of them closing down their nuclear power plants. But it's actually significantly worse because France, right next door to Germany, a first world country, invested heavily in nuclear energy. And as you can see from this chart, the French grid 93% carbon-free clean energy. That is because of their nuclear program. While Germany is in and around 50% below that margin and becoming more and more reliant again on hostile foreign powers like the nation of Russia for their oil and gas and by the way the French energy cost compared to the German about half of it the cost invested in all this infrastructure for nuclear versus the green energy infrastructure less than half in France than it was in Germany. So obviously this is the path forward. This is where we need to go if we want energy that doesn't produce carbon or air pollution or really any kind of pollution because nuclear energy is the only energy on planet Earth where the waste is 100% contained. But obviously this means environmentalists like this lady has to be opposed to it. And the crazy thing about this stupid ass old lady that I hate and I absolutely despise and honestly I wish bad things for her cookies. I wanted to lose every old lady cookie cooking competition is the fact that she is part of an organization called Mothers for Peace. Linda Seely is with Mothers for Peace. Now look, normally I'm way more chill when it comes to regular ordinary individuals that are not in government positions. But I hate her. I hate this lady. I hate her whole family. I hate everybody who's ever spoken to her. I hate everybody who's ever looked at her in person in the face, including this San Francisco Chronicle reporter. Because the idea that nuclear energy is somehow akin to nuclear war is so absurd, acidine, and ridiculous. But again, all of the opposition to nuclear energy is either rooted in anti-Americanism, as in they want to hurt this nation, this degrowth mindset that we need to punish ourselves for our wealth and prosperity, or of course, ignorance and blatant stupidity. And considering this woman is a part of an environmentalist organization that dates back decades that's been on this issue that has pushed a bunch of nuclear power plants in the state of California to close. We're going to go with stupidity and maliciousness because yeah, this woman sucks in every possible way. I hate her. I hate her face. And yes, you're going to get a little bit more mature commentary from me, but I really need you to understand that I hate this woman's face.

It has nothing to do with needing the power. It has nothing to do with money.

So, one of the things that's most annoying about this woman is the fact that she's like, "Oh, this is all politics. We don't actually need the energy from this nuclear power plant." It's not like the state of California is in a power crisis. It's not like energy in the state of California is the highest in the entire nation outside of Puerto Rico and Hawaii, which is caused by the Jones Act, which we talked about multiple different times in previous videos. So, we'll set that aside for this moment in time. It's it's just that this is politics. Gavin Newsome politics something politics. He's running for president. And yes, while it did cause Gavin Newsome, the idea that he's running for president, that is, to actually extend the life of this nuclear power plant, the ending of nuclear power is all politics. It's all to pander to absolute idiots like you. Because guess what? It seems to be significantly easier to pander to you, or at least it has been for a long period of time than to actually argue the case for nuclear power. But again, in the state of California, about 20% of their carbon-free energy comes from this one nuclear plant. Which means if the state of California just allowed five more of these plants to be built in their state, then they could have cut back on every single spending boondoggle related to solar, related to wind, related to all these stupid ass technologies that are not viable and not reliable, and had some of the most clean, affordable energy. And again the safest energy because a lot of people will point to nuclear reactor meltdowns and talk about the crazy danger that we have from that. But the fact is the danger is dramatically overstated and honestly it plays on the fears that people have because radiation is invisible. So people perceive it as more dangerous than it actually is. The worst meltdown in the history of nuclear energy happened in the Soviet Union. Again, the communists that many of the left-wingers want us to be more like and their stupid ass built reactor. And guess what? The total death, including all the cancers and whatnot, is around 4,000. 4,000 over the course of decades from the worst nuclear reactor meltdown in the history of the world. Fukushima, which ended up melting down after a tidal wave, caused two deaths. And by the way, those two deaths were not due to radiation. They were due to people dying during the evacuation because they were afraid of the radiation. Like guys, you really need to understand these people are not your friends. They're not your allies. They're not even good environmentalists because if you believe them about carbon dioxide going into the air and causing global warming, they're advocating for policies that would 100% worsen that. But in addition to that, the solar farms, the windmills, all of that causes extreme environmental degradation. And by the way, as do fossil fuels. I mean, just the particulate matter that goes into the air when we burn coal or oil or natural gas ends up leading to tens of thousands of premature deaths worldwide. And we're still freaking out about nuclear energy. That again, in the worst meltdown in the history of nuclear energy, caused 4,000 deaths through its entirety. That counts premature deaths through cancers, which by the way, the cancers that you typically would get from something like this happen to be among the more treatable cancers. In addition to that, study after study has shown that populations that live near nuclear reactors actually have lower rates of cancer because guess what? All those particulates that go up into the air from other power sources, they're actually more deadly for you. They cause more premature death and even more cancers than nuclear energy.

Now look, I'm sure you guys have also heard about the refinery closures in the state of California, which are particularly devastating because in terms of gasoline, the state of California requires a specific blend. By the way, rules, regulations, and taxes are the reason why gas is more expensive in the state of California than any state in the continental United States of America. And by the way, part of the reason why all these different refineries are closing in the state of California is because it's significantly cheaper to transport oil to these refineries via pipeline. But of course, California limits pipeline construction, which by the way is also better from the environment than trucking oil or the different various methods that you would move oil outside of using a pipeline. But in addition to that, this canyon, although it provides nearly 20% of the clean energy in the state of California, it also represents a significant portion of the overall energy package within that state. A study done by MIT and Stanford in 2021 showed keeping the plant open would cut carbon emissions by 10% and save over 2 billion in system costs. The American Nuclear Society claims these plants are key for meeting carbon neutral goals while having a reliable power source. If you look at the the the numbers out there, California gets 10% of its electricity from Diablo Canyon.

10%. 10% of the state's power. Do you think that your electric bill go down or go up after you remove 10% of your energy capacity from your grid for no reason? Again, what did that stupid ass old lady said that I hate her face and I hate everything about her?

It has nothing to do with needing the power. It has nothing to do with money.

Yeah, you absolutely do need the power. You do need that 10%. And again, this is 10% of your entire grid that is carbon-free energy. All of your goals would be met if you just built 10 more of these plants. Then you could decommission this if you're saying it's too old to be running, although you definitely shouldn't. And you could build even more plants. And guess what? Have the most affordable energy in the entire country because it would all be nuclear-based. And nuclear is incredibly cheap. And in addition to that, you could run the data centers that everybody wants to build at affordable rates. Hell, a lot of these companies want to build out their own energy capacity to power their data centers. So you could have them build the nuclear power plants. That excess power could be transmitted to all these different places in California and you could have cheaper, more affordable energy. Or as an alternative option, you could listen to this stupid old lady. Mothers for Peace think adding more renewable sources instead of running Diablo Canyon can close that gap.

During a sunny day like today, we have more energy than the grid can hold. And so they shut down the solar because you can't shut down Diablo Canyon because it's very unsafe to shut it down and ramp it back up.

And you can listen to her stupid face and just go with that. You could just listen to her. Let her run your entire society because guess what? That's how stupid the state of California is. Because even if you were to try to build nuclear power plants, guess what? They have a law called CEQA where any idiot, any absolute buffoon, even stupid old lady who makes terrible cookies can go out, sue the state of California for not doing enough environmental review, sue the developer, and guess what? Get the project killed. This is why we can't have nice things in the United States of America. This is why it costs like $37 billion to build no miles of high-speed rail in the state of California because all these rules and regulations compound on each other. All these stupid ass environmentalist groups that are actually antihuman progress that are actually anti-Western, anti-American that want to destroy the United States of America, which by the way is the same goal that Greta Thunberg ends up having. You know, the how dare you lady.

How dare you?

And I'm sick of it. I I've honestly had enough. Right now, we are seeing oil being shipped into California via boat because you can't have pipelines. You can't have anything reliable. And they're also going to kill this nuclear power plant that they only extended until 2029 so Gavin Newsome could have a nice primary run. It's insane. It's absurd. It's ridiculous. But this is where we're at. This is our country. This is our nation right here. People want to talk about how we shouldn't be sending money overseas when we have problems at home. And honestly, I do agree with that. In peacetime, for sure. I don't want to be spending all this money overseas. But you know what? Giving money to these people is bad. It's terrible. What we need to do is clean up our problems by cleaning up our regulatory burden at home. I mean, if we really wanted to destroy countries across the world, what we should do is pay them to allow California regulators and California environmentalists to go into their country and craft policy. And then we would have no enemies worldwide because we would send them the worst human beings in our entire nation. We would be a global empire because we didn't have these people here, the unchallenged superpower from now until the end of time. But right now, all of these people are in our own country ruining our own nation. And I'm sick of it. I mean, if you want to beat Iran or Russia or North Korea or any of these enemy nations, don't drop bombs on them. Drop this old lady right here. Her crappy cookies and terrible policies will ruin any nation just as she's ruined with all the different organizations, the state of California. But you know what? Those are just my thoughts.
