To tell you the truth, none of it really adds up. I agree in full because this is not in America's interest. Why the serial humiliation rituals and no one ever says, you know, basta ever. The US is actually, and I'm sorry to say it, complicit in genocide right now.
Of course, Tucker Carlson and Jeffrey Saxs just revealed the dark truth about the Israel lobby. And in this clip, they discuss why it exists, how it maintains such a strangle hold over the US political system, and some of its worst and most backward effects on American society. So, let's get right into it. Please like the video and subscribe to the channel.
Can I ask you, you said a moment ago that no American president has ever constrained Israel in a meaningful way. I think George in the modern period. George HW Bush kind of tried and there was talk of an assassination attempt against him and he lost of course after one term. Um but why do you why do you think that is? Why is a country of 9 million people able to dictate terms to a country of 350 million people?
Well, first of all, there's no legitimate reason for that. In other words, there's no intrinsic US interest in any way, whether it's military or security or economic for this uh to be the case. There's no moral reason for this to be the case. In other words, one could support Israel without supporting Israel's reckless extremism and militarism and all its wars. And so there's no reason for the United States government to have given a blank check, actually handed our military and our intelligence over to Israel to tell us what to do. There's no legitimate reason for this. The question why this is the case is of course I think to all of us even no matter how much on the inside we are or how many decades we've watched this a bit of a mystery. Yes. And because I've seen this close up for more than 50 years. Yeah. I have to agree. There's no close parallel to the situation between the United States and Israel. What I consider an unholy alliance. I mean, for instance, Iran is a BRICS country and Russia supports Iran, but the Ayatollas don't get to wield influence over the Russian government.
This is a relationship where the US bankrolls a foreign country. They're the biggest recipient of US foreign aid since Israel's inception. Over $300 billion. Last year they got 20 billion while Americans languished. This year I think they've gotten about 12 so far. And in years prior they got 4 billion per year. And all this such that Israel seems to influence our government more than our government seems to influence Israel or is even interested in that prospect in using US leverage to stop the genocide in Gaza. you know, getting Israel to not put regime change on the table against Iran and then suck the US into a war versus Iran. All these things are plagues on the American political system. They deprive us of wealth. They create debt. They encourage inflation. And it's America last. This is Israel first policy. So, yeah, I'm with Sachs. And if you ask me, am I really sure why Netanyahu, who is a absolutely disgusting wararmonger, who has dragged us into terrible wars, who is committing massive war crimes, why he gets 57 standing ovations in the US Congress. If you ask me in my heart, do I really understand that? Is it the Apac lobby, the Israel lobby? Well, partly is it blackmail uh by Israel because there's no doubt a lot of credible claims of Epstein and more about blackmail. Is it that is it direct bribes? Is it fear of American politicians? Is it the mainstream media which for a lot of reasons owned by a lot of billionaires that tend to be uh rather arted Zionists? Is it the large Christian Zionist vote base which is also a real thing? Yeah, all this is true. All this combines to make Israel paramount in the US political system. I think he's naming a lot of interesting facets that people don't dive into. The dispensationalist belief among a lot of Christians holds that the modern state of Israel, it's an obligation on Christians to support. It's a total perversion of the scriptures. And that idea never came about in the entire history of Christendom until the 19th century and the early 20th century. That was an unknown theory or phenomenon essentially until then. That's a big point. Apac and the Israel lobby, they get a special carve out from Congress. Don't have to register under FAR like every other foreign lobby. And you can imagine what they say if Russia got that kind of carve out, right? If Russia didn't have to register and then there was a Russia American pack that boasted about having 361 representatives in its pocket. I think we all know what would happen. All those people would be traitors, but then you don't hear a peep from the political establishment about Apac and its influence. Thankfully, more and more people are speaking out about it. People like Matt Gates and Marjorie Taylor Green and Thomas Massie now on the right are total heroes about this. But it is a combination of those factors certainly.
So, to tell you the truth, none of it really adds up. I agree in full because this is not in America's interest. It's not in America's interest to be isolated in the world together with a murderous rogue state, which is sad to say what the Israeli government has become. It is the most lawless state in the whole world right now. It's committing massive war crimes. It is, as Netanyahu said, at war in seven fronts. If you're at war in seven fronts, that's pretty weird. That shows you don't have diplomacy. You have war as a policy. This is exactly right. It's not normal for a country to attack seven of its adversaries, quote unquote adversaries and neighbors in a year, in about a two-year stretch since October 7th. and to have that supported and bankrolled by the United States with the United States stopping none of it up to and including the Israeli bombing of a US ally ostensively cutter however you want to say it Qatar and that is the entity that Netanyahu used to funnel money to Hamas through Qatar as an intermediary by the way so this is deranged behavior and if you don't believe that Israel engages in blackmail. This is historically founded. Read up about the Shinbet incident where a US consulate employee was blackmailed by Israel that happened I think 1982. Also read up about Jonathan Pard and Netanyahu using illicit tapes between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky in an attempt to free Pard, a Israeli spy that worked inside the deep state to steal US secrets, send them back to Israel, and then oh yeah, Israel sent them to the Soviet Union. That's what we have here. This is our greatest ally in the Middle East. And it's not for Americans. They are an all the US is an ally to Israel but we don't derive any benefit from it. Israel gets all the benefit from it at the expense of the American citizens at the expense of young men and women in the Middle East overthrowing regimes like Libya and Syria exclusively for Israel. I want no part of that. And of course Netanyahu does have war as a policy. And you know, Tucker, I am at the UN a lot. So I am in the UN Security Council a lot uh listening or participating in UN sessions and and the UN uh the Israeli uh politicians come and they yell at the whole rest of the world and uh they yell at them in the most vulgar, stupid uh prayer and absolutely uh imbalanced and irrational way and then the the US representative says yes yes yes we we are with Israel so if you ask me why this is fundamentally first it's disgusting second it is no rational basis and third if it is the money the lobbying uh the uh mass media propaganda and uh uh the uh uh really strange beliefs of some people. Whatever it is, even all of that for my mind doesn't add up because a president of the United States should be able to figure this out a little bit better. that this is absolutely not in America's interest and we do not have a military that is to be handed out to another country to do whatever reckless things that country is doing. That's exactly right.
There's nothing about this in America's interest and that's what it all comes down to. Even if you support Israel, you like Israel as a country and you, you know, sympathize with the plight of their people according to the common narrative, you know, you would want to have your money if you're a patriotic America dedicated to American causes, not to have it subsidize the security, and by security, I mean the warfare and genocide of a foreign country in the Middle East. It's so backward in so many ways. And what he said about the UN Security Council is so true. and striking about the impetency of globalist organizations like that, by the way, where there's something like 190 countries that recognize Palestinian statethood and, you know, denounce Israel for what they're doing. But the US is one of five countries with veto power over the UN Security Council. And that means that no matter how many attempts there are to carve out a Palestinian state and maybe try to avert all this bloodshed and warfare since 1947, it doesn't matter because the US just puts the kibash about on it. The US and Israel are isolated from the rest of the world on this viewpoint. And the best course is for the US to just stay out of this question. Stop aiding either side of the conflict. And it's been $300 billion down the drain to Israel since its inception. And right now, Israel is not only doing reckless things, it is committing a genocide. And that is not my opinion. That is the opinion pervasively of both scholars and specialists in this matter and in Israeli human rights organizations uh in uh countless observers inside Israel and observers all over the world. So, the US is actually, and I'm sorry to say it, complicit in genocide right now. A president should be able to figure this out. And they don't. And so, when you ask me this question, I can give you a list of answers, but somehow it doesn't add up for me because this is not so hard to figure out that we are on a terribly wrong track. Absolutely. Yeah. And I think it's a big deal, by the way, that if you notice there, Tucker Carlson just agreed with Jeffrey Sachs saying, "Of course, to the idea that the US is complicit in genocide." That takes cou courage enough on the right. Tucker's been a heroic voice, you know, condemning the US attachment to this country despite saying that he actually likes the country. He's been there. He has nothing against the people and the society. It's the criminal government and especially Netanyahu that he grilled in this segment. So, I think it's a big deal that someone like Tucker Carlson, just like Marjorie Taylor Green, acknowledges that this is a genocide. That really shows the shifting tides of opinion on this question to have the the biggest conservative influencer in the country on board. I agree with you completely. I've thought about it a lot and um you don't have to hate Israel, which I don't, uh to ask like why the serial humiliation rituals and no one ever says, you know, basta ever. And and I do think there's a people perceive a deep threat. Well, I know that that's true. I wonder if the attack on Doha on Qatar and in general the kind of non-stop effort to malign Qatar Qatar is the most important player in US pol it's also deranged it's all projection but I wonder if bombing a close US ally kind of critical US ally in that region Qar is a critical US ally just to be clear um I wonder if that was like too much I wonder if that was the beginning of the end for BB I have to say there's been a lot that should have been the beginning of the end going back 30 years uh going back to uh the Iraq war uh and even before that. Uh starving a population in Gaza as Israel is doing right now should have been enough even without the uh bombing. Yes, certainly.
So, they've reduced 400 aid stations charged with distributing food to four, pushing the Gazin populace down into the south near Rafa, which is basically, by the way, now in ruins. And you have Anthony Aguilar, the GHF whistleblower, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, who got a monopoly. It's basically a front of the IDF to distribute food. They distribute food at only two of those locations in any given day. They do so for 15 minutes and they do it in a way that creates stampede conditions where IDF fires live rounds over people collecting food. This is according to Anthony Auilar and people on the inside of this. It's treacherous. It should not stand. And it's a total backward thing for you to call on US citizens struggling to make ends meet. going to gas stations and not being able to fill up their car with gas and going to the grocery store and having beef explode in price about twice as much as it was in 2020. If you go into my grocery store, that's what you get as a result of these policies that just funnels immense amounts of money into the coffers of Netanyahu. With our government not doing anything to curtail this, stop this, cease the public humiliation rituals as Tucker is talking about. It's just so insane of Qatar. But uh yes, Qatar was an extraordinary event. Israel says we don't have to obey any laws anywhere. We will go anywhere. We will murder anyone. It's a murder operation. Mossad especially, but also this was the Israeli military in this case. They and and interestingly, what were they trying to do? According to them in Qatar, they were trying to murder the negotiators of Hamas who were considering a ceasefire proposal. Now, I find it pretty strange that you murder your counterpart negotiators as they're considering a proposal. That's exactly what they did. It's it's crazy to think about. and K Qatar exists to be a base for US soldiers in the Middle East. That's ostensively the reason. But they're not as close of an ally to the US as Israel. So if Israel bombs Qatar, it doesn't matter to the US president. They just essentially looks the other way. They say, "Oh, Trump was angry." But does that lead to any actual stipulations or inhibitions against Israel? It doesn't. and it doesn't end up with any threats to withhold funding or anything of the sort. Sachs is right here. This was a crazy operation and Hamas has been willing to negotiate to exchange hostages since the ceasefire that Trump himself orchestrated as he stepped into the Oval Office this term. But it was Netanyahu that violated that. And for all the talk that Netanyahu wants these hostages back, no he doesn't. Because those 50 remaining hostages they have, and by the way, Israel has something like 3,500 Palestinian hostages, Netanyahu wants them to exist to still remain hostages such that they serve as the pretext for his ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza. And that's the sad truth. But this is actually normal behavior of the Israeli government. They have done this repeatedly now that they murder precisely those who are negotiating and the United States has been party to this. That's really awful and dangerous and absurd. It sure is. And it sure speaks to the evil of our ruling class that carves out an Israel first foreign policy to our detriment on every single issue on issues related to Gaza, on issues related to Syria and Libya and before that Iraq. And now you got sucked into the Iran war where the US actually had on the table the opportunity to carve out normalized relations with Iran much like existed from 2015 to 2017 under the JCPOA where there would be a US sponsored inspections regime. And by the way, all the documentation that came out of that which Congress had and has been presented to Congress showed that Iran was actually complying with that. Well, Trump tore up the US connection to that agreement, which still does exist on the European side, but Trump tore that up in his first term. And because of that, we're left with this opportunity. There was a new opportunity to negotiate with Iran to say, "Hey, no nuclear weapons program. We're going to hold you to that. Let's create a new agreement." And then suddenly they went from that to the Steve Wickoff party saying, "Nope, there's no way you can enrich nuclear uh or uranium whatsoever." Well, they need to enrich uranium for a nuclear energy program, which they couldn't give up. So, it was a total non-starter to pivot to that extreme suddenly and abruptly. And it really showed you all you needed to know because Netanyahu wanted regime change in Iran. He still wants regime change in Iran. The neocons still want regime change in Iran. They've been talking about it since the clean break, which was a strategy to overthrow seven countries in 5 years and not play nice with Israel's Arab neighbors anymore. And I don't think you've heard the end of it. Well, because of that, we got sucked into that 12-day war and it's not over. There's just a ceasefire. And again, they're going to ramp up the propaganda again. The answer is simple, people. Pull out all aid to Israel. Get out of the Middle East. Shut down all US bases that exist in the Middle East. Stop engaging in entangling alliances that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson warned against. Jefferson in his first inaugural address said the American doctrine should be peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none. And man is Israel a dangerous and toxic entangling alliance.
But what do you think though? Is Tucker and Jeffrey Saxs correct about this? Why is the Israel lobby so prevalent and so powerful? And are things going to change in the next few years?
