Percy had just sat on a throne of pure gold, and his legs gradually turned to gold. Annabeth anxiously told him to stand up. However, this chair was cursed, and no one could leave once they sat on it, as Percy turned into a golden statue.
The Shield fell from the statue's hands. Instead of taking the shield and leaving, Annabeth wanted to crack the mechanism of the gold Throne. At that moment, the god of fire suddenly appeared. Vulcan blew his whistle, and the ladder was instantly raised.
Now, if she could only get out with her Shield, she would be crowned with the highest honor. But Annabeth was determined to rescue Percy. All of this was achieved by Percy's voluntary sacrifice. Her determination impressed the god of fire.
Vulcan blew his whistle again. The gold on Percy's body quickly faded, and the curse on The Golden Throne was lifted. It turns out that the curse is just a test set by the god of fire, and the only way to pass it is to be faithful to each other.
They gave their Shields to Aries, the God of War. Aries prepared a truck for them and personally sent them to start a new adventure.
