Well, everyone, it's time for us to go and take a look at Google AI Pro and compare it against their Google AI Ultra plan and see which particular plan is a better one for you.
Now, there are some really big things to keep in mind here if we're taking a look at both of these particular plans. Number one, the cost model of both these plans are very different. So, Google AI Pro, which is used to be called Gemini Advanced, but now it's called Google AI Pro. This is basically one of those types of plans that gives you advanced access to your models, to your tools, you know, to Gemini just in general. With Google's Gemini AI Pro, this one is basically costing $19.99 a month. So, $20 a month, which is fairly affordable for an AI tool. It's basically the same type of cost as something like uh, you know, Chat GBT Plus. So, it's relatively kind of the same thing. In fact, those are basically the main competitors. They're basically competitors to one another. So, that right there, you know, is kind of a nice thing when it kind of comes down to it cuz you can kind of look at these devices from that side and still think to yourself that you have a pretty good experience when it comes down to it.
Now, with that being said, with Google AI, with Google AI Ultra, this one costs $250 a month. So, that is a massive, you know, increase in price. That's over 10 times the cost of Google AI Pro. So, what are you getting here? Well, number one, you're getting your basically an advanced version of your AI models that Google supports. So, with AI Pro, you get the Gemini 2.5 Pro model and you get Gemini 2.0 Flash. But with the AI Ultra model, you get the highest access to Gemini 2.5 Pro. So, you get a more advanced model that you can use way more and you get early access to Gemini 2.5 Pro Deep Think and you get a lot more access when it comes down to it. Also with the application itself, you get expanded access with AI Pro, but you get the highest access with Google AI Ultra. You get the highest limits on everything across the board. But more importantly, right now, I think the reason why most people are looking at Google AI Ultra is basically because of that VO3 tool. So what VO is in general, it's Google's way of kind of creating their text to video, you know, tool. So there's a lot of text to video tools out there. Some of them are really bad, some of them are okay. Google's right now from what they just did and what they showcased to us, that's a really, really big step up. Not only can they make videos, but it can also go ahead and you can make audio within that particular video as well. You have full camera control. It is actually pretty insane. So for $250 a month for that, you basically get access to that particular tool. So like I said, this is pretty insane when it kind of comes down to it.
The big thing to keep in mind here though is that with Google AI Pro, that $20 a month option, you still get V2 access. So, it's not V3, but it is V2, which is probably okay for the most part. But once again, if you are wanting to take it up a notch, getting that Google AI Pro option will definitely be able to suit you probably a little bit better when it kind of comes down to it from that side. Now you also go ahead and kind of go through and get general access to everything else inside of the AI pro option but or sorry the AI ultra option, but with AI ultra you get the highest access for everything. So that is something that's really, really cool in and of itself.
And another really cool thing is that when you actually improve or you upgrade your plans, you know, through Google, you do get more improvements and more upgrades in other areas as well. So, with Google AI Ultra, you do actually end up getting 30 TB of storage. So, you get 30 TB of cloud storage built right in. With Google AI Pro, that one gives you 2 TB, which is actually still pretty good if you ask me. But that right there also is just another bit of an improvement that you can get inside of, you know, AI Ultra just because you are spending more money, but you are getting more features built inside of it as well.
So, in my opinion, I probably would tell you like if you are a business and you can make sense of the options that I just told you, then by all means go and get Google AI Ultra. I think that one would probably be the better one. But if you're on a budget and you don't necessarily want to spend all that, I guess you really don't have to when you can get Google AI Pro and still get like a really, really good device from that particular device as well.
