Debunking the 'ROBOT Theories' in PIGGY's Lore..

Mr.Cheese8:41

Everyone is a robot. That's what I've been hearing for the past few weeks, but is it true? Well, today we're coming up with new theories about the detective, Eddie, and even the PSTM employees. And all because of this: with the release of the "Distorted Holiday" chapter, that turned out to be just one massive game inside a VR headset, we've managed to discover more lore. And I'm not talking about the VR headset made by NetEase, but rather the coded notes.

As you all know, inside the "Distorted Holiday" chapter, there were a lot of decoded notes, such as this one, this one, and a lot more. But when you combined them all together, you got to the message: "Does anyone know you well enough to tell if you're a robot?" And once this message got discovered, everyone started theorizing who could this note be referring to and what could it mean. The community speculated many things, theorizing that the detective is actually a robot, that Eddie was a robot because of his eyes, and even the PSTM employees were all just robots. But are any of these theories accurate? Well, we're about to answer all these questions in today's video.

So, first, let's take a look at our player, the detective that we play as. Some of you might be confused, "How can the detective be a robot? That can't be real." Well, let's take a look at the evidence. First, some people think that the player might be a robot because he was the character that saw these codes inside the game, meaning that the message was meant to be seen by our detective. Not only that, but he is currently the only known character inside the Piggy lore that cannot get infected. Of course, we know that thanks to Mr. P and Theo. So that could also be evidence showing how the detective is, in fact, a robot.

But here I step in and say, "No, there's no way our detective can be a robot." And here is why: First of all, in the true ending of Plant, Mr. P told us that after we passed out in the school steward, we were taken to the hospital where him, along with his scientists, have done tests on us and finding out that we had traces of the infection within us. And you can't really do tests on a robot, let alone find traces of the infection inside of him. But that's not all the evidence I have, because we can also add up Theo. Theo is an entity that can enter anybody's minds and play with them as he wants, only if they are feeling sad and destroyed. The best examples being Mr. P, Pony, Georgie, and of course, the detective. Theo wouldn't be able to enter our minds and create hallucinations if we were a robot, because robots don't have feelings and nobody can control the AI. And just because of this evidence, I am 100% sure that the detective is not a robot. Case closed.

But stay with me because we're not over. Many other theories have appeared over the weeks, speculating not only the PSTM employees but also Eddie, a former PSTM employee, the creator of Doggy, and the first person that started to investigate the insolence. Some people are theorizing that Eddie himself might be a robot. But what is the evidence here? Well, first of all, he was a former employee at the PSTM company, the same company that was accused by the public to be creating evil robots and turning people into robots. The best example being Rider Paige. But also his eyes. The community thinks that Eddie is a robot because he has colored eyes, the left one being blue and the right one being brown. Nobody else has colored eyes besides the infected creatures, so he must be a robot, right?

Well, no. And here is my evidence. Sure, Eddie worked as an employee at the PSTM company, the company that was suspected for turning people into robots. But we can see how throughout the years, Eddie has been aging, such as this picture of him when he was young, working at the PSTM company, and this portrait of him now, being old. So Eddie has been aging throughout the years. He was also the creator of many prototypes and, in the end, the creator of Doggy. If he was a robot, he wouldn't be able to age nor be able to create other robots. He also lives in a giant mansion all alone, just with a robot to keep company. So it's pretty obvious that while he did work at the PSTM company, he is not a robot.

But what about the eyes? His eyes were the main reason that started the theories of him being a robot. Well, having colored eyes is a normal thing. But I know what you're thinking: not only is he the only one with colored eyes, but he also has different colors on each eye. And that's normal too. It's a thing called heterochromia that also exists in real life. This word is used for the people that have color variation of hair, skin, or even eyes. So what I theorize is that Eddie isn't an infected nor a robot. He is simply an elephant that has heterochromia. So old man Eddie is, in fact, not a robot.

But could we say the same about the PSTM employees? Let's find out. On December 24th, 2024, MiniToon posted a video called "Tale of the Night Before Pigmas." This video was made to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to promote the Mr. P plush campaign by having a lot of nice-looking pre-infection pictures of characters being together. Nothing too special or important to the lore, until people saw this picture. This right here became a massive theory plot where the community was getting involved, and everything started because of their eyes. We can see Mr. P along with his employees, but the thing that made everyone curious was the PSTM employees' eyes. These two right here fully have blue eyes, this one has darker blue eyes, and this one has red eyes. Which I do agree, we've never seen something like this before.

So there are two choices here. Either Choice Number One: MiniToon is just adding more details to characters, making their eyes colorful to look prettier. I mean, have you seen her? We can also see that she already has a baby. Robots wouldn't need a baby bottle nor a stroller for this, so why should there be baby items here? If all these characters, except Mr. P, were robots, it wouldn't make sense. But in the same time, there is evidence to robots. I mean, their eyes are fully colored, just like the other robots. And heck, this guy even has red eyes, as if something happened to his program. And should I mention why is he the only person that doesn't have an employee uniform on? Instead, he's wearing a hoodie. They also have this type of black and white badges on them, and we have no idea what they mean at the moment.

So what's the answer? Are they robots or not? Well, there is no way we can answer this right now, but we might be able to in a few weeks because Piggy 6.4 is finally updating for the last time with its biggest update, possibly revealing a lot more about employees and about the PSTM company. So I think we'll just have to wait and see for this one. But what do you think about these theories? Let me know in the comments below. And if you're interested into learning more about robots and the PSTM company, I suggest you watch this video right here. But that is all for today. Thanks for watching. [Music]
