9 Algorithm Hacks To Grow Your LinkedIn in 2026

Hello everybody. So, LinkedIn just made the biggest changes to the platform in a decade. And there's a huge opportunity to jump on them before everybody else realizes what works. And here are 12 hacks I use to get an immediate increase in reach like you see on screen, land clients, and make money to support my growing family. And if you implement these two, you'll be able to do the same. So, let's jump straight in with number one.

Because without understanding this, none of the other hacks will work. Because LinkedIn used to only show your content to existing followers. They actively wanted to stop you going viral. So if you didn't have a big audience and loads of followers, you were screwed. But now it's totally changed. And what do I mean? Well, think of it like this. When you log into Netflix or YouTube, you see content on the home screen based on your past viewing habits and what they believe you'll be interested in. It's not related to who you follow. And LinkedIn is now exactly the same. So if you take certain actions, your content will be pushed across the platform in minutes to everybody interested in the topic you're posting about, including your ideal clients if you do it right.

And the first way to do this is to train LinkedIn to know that you are an expert in a certain topic. And you can do this in a way not many people know about. By sending a signal direct to LinkedIn themselves in 2 minutes, you'll get thousands of impressions overnight because you're jumping onto existing traffic instead of needing to create your own if you don't have followers. So, simply go to LinkedIn's news page, find a story or a post that your ideal clients will be interested in, and comment on it. And I'll show you exactly what to say later in the comments, cuz that's changed, too.

But first, we need to get our profile ready for all the new traffic that's going to visit your profile so that we maximize the chance of them becoming clients. And to do this, imagine you walk into a steak restaurant. You're hungry for a prime cut of meat, but the menu only has vegetarian options. And look, there's nothing wrong with vegetarian food, but it's not what you expected. And mismatched expectations leads to frustration. So, the second people hit your profile, they immediately need to see something that matches what you spoke about in your comments and the post you commented on.

And luckily, there's one specific type of content that naturally outperforms everything else. And it sparks incredible relationships with your audience. And the best part, you don't even need to spend hours scripting it or tell a vulnerable personal story. What is it? Research shows that being understood is way more powerful than competence when it comes to relationships. And so what's the secret? It all starts with just two powerful words, these tools. Then simply add help me and insert the problem that you solved that your ideal client wants to solve. In one short line, you've shown you've experienced what they're experiencing and gotten past it. And everybody loves a list of tools they can't resist.

But this post won't work unless you do something at the end of the post that will get you the conversations with the clients. And that's right. It's a question. But don't just use any question. Don't use any of the words on screen because the new algorithm is trained to associate this with all the AI slop that's been ruining the platform and it's trying to remove them. So what you need to do is connect the question to the content of the list. And this is sometimes known as a contextual call to action like you see on screen. And I know this sounds like a lot. So see if we've got one of our free community events below where you can get my personal feedback.

But for now, we need to add something else to the post because in the past a text post was enough. But because of the new algorithm, being able to read images, too. A certain type of visual gets more reach, more engagement than anything else. And beyond that, studies show that people process visual information quicker than written content, then there's two options here. So, either jump on LinkedIn's new desire for real human emotion and grab a selfie. But if, like me, you don't love selfies, simply throw the script into this app you see on screen and make sure the color is different to LinkedIn blue so the post pops on the screen. Press upload. And don't worry, we will reveal all the apps at the end of this.

But for the next step, make sure you get the most from this post by putting it in the only place on LinkedIn on your profile that allows you to showcase it permanently so it acts like a 24-hour salesperson. And that's right, it's called your feature section. And you can see how to do that on screen. And now you're ready for the next step because the best LinkedIn creators understand that to get clients and make money quicker, you need to bring new people into your network through sending new connection requests.

And before I discovered this next hack, I spent ages writing connect messages and I just get ignored. And to make it worse, I discovered the people I'd been trying to connect with haven't hadn't even logged into the platform for months or even years. I was chasing ghosts. But then I found out how to find active people on LinkedIn without paying over $100 a month for Sales Navigator. And more than that, my connect acceptances tripled overnight. So simply go to network on your LinkedIn, scroll down because LinkedIn wants real human interaction. So it pushes profiles it knows are active in this area for maximum speed. Do this on your mobile and simply connect the click button. Don't worry about writing a connect message because of over eight years thousands of profiles every niche imaginable. We know that people are going to accept your connection request or not by simply looking at your profile picture or your headline. like you can see on screen.

And the easiest way to sort these out is to now understand that LinkedIn is busier than Los Angeles in rush hour. And there are loads of people selling the same thing as me and no doubt you. So instead of talking about what you do, which obviously doesn't stand out, it's better to talk about what you've done, but in a very specific way. So just use the prompts and the GPT below. Answer three simple questions and it will give you three proven options that build your authority in seconds using advanced psychology. And don't forget about the profile image because wrongly or rightly humans do judge us by your appearance. So I believe we either get angry about that or we reluctantly accept it and throw a standard selfie into Gemini. Run the prompt on screen which is downloadable below. And this prompt will make sure you look good and human and not like a plastic muppet like some of the other ones.

And for the next step, let's turn the new connections into clients without spamming or sending awkward messages. And to do this, we're going to do something that will send a notification to everybody in your LinkedIn network the second you do it. So, you get loads of eyes on you and they'll know that you aren't an AI bot. And that's right, some of you might have guessed it. It's LinkedIn Live. I mean, I got 15 hours of watch time on this, even though there were only 12 people maximum, and that's enough to watch Lord of the Rings like six times. It's a fantastic strategy for reach, growth, and leads.

And to do this, simply go to YouTube, type in the topic you want to do a live about, and then look at the best performing titles and take that title across to LinkedIn, replace the content with your own versions of it, because if it works on YouTube, it works everywhere. And don't worry if you still don't know exactly what to say, cuz I know it can feel a bit daunting to go live without structure. Because if you use the app on screen, it will allow you to double your reach without doing any work. Simply pre-record the video, upload it into the software, and it will upload the post onto LinkedIn as if it were live. And you get all the benefits and notifications that we spoke about as if you were doing it live while you sit back and enjoy time with your kids or whatever you love to do.

And but to make sure we generate cash quickly, we also need to take what all these coaches say about the next steps, which is often pitching in the DMs, we need to turn 180°, forget about them, and instead think about yourself as a hot dog stand outside a concert venue. What do I mean? Right as the show ends, when the crowds pile out hungry and thirsty, nobody is complaining that they have the opportunity to buy a hot dog and ice cold water because sales and pitching isn't bad inherently. It only gets awkward when people don't need something. And the quickest way to find people that need what you sell on LinkedIn can be done in 2 minutes and you can reach hundreds of people without automation. So, simply set up an event and when you get to the screen that you see at the moment, tick as many people as possible. It will send a bulk invite and if they accept, they've raised their hand and told us they are interested. And if you want the full process document step by step, grab it below.
