Hey future millionaires! Today, I'm going to show you exactly how you can create an online store to start selling your digital products in less than 10 minutes.
I love selling digital products because it only takes you 1 to 2 hours to make your own digital product, which you can then sell unlimited times over the next 5 to 10 years. Digital products are actually known as digital assets because they can truly create a passive income stream for you.
So many of you guys started selling digital products after watching my YouTube channel and trying things yourself. And one comment that I got over and over and over and over again was, "What about Stand Store? How can I create a Stand Store? Is it worth it to create a Stand Store?"
So, I got you guys! I have tested out Stand Store myself, and I can agree it's one of the best platforms on the market right now for selling digital products. It's an all-in-one link-in-bio tool, so it has everything you need. And I also think it's one of the best for beginners too because it's so user-friendly, just so simplified. And also great for when customers buy from you as well because of that factor.
So, not only am I going to show you how to set this up, but I'm also going to show you how to optimize your Stand Store so you can get more sales on your Stand Store. So maybe you already have a Stand Store, but you're like, "I'm not really getting that many sales." I'm going to show you exactly how you can get more sales with your Stand Store as well.
So, let's get right into this video! I'm going to be doing this tutorial today from my laptop, but you guys can also do this straight off your phone as well and follow this tutorial using your phone too.
Now, Stand Store does have a monthly fee, it is not free. But what is so awesome is that they don't take fees from you. So, I've learned that I've used some free platforms, but with the amount of fees that they were taking from me, it actually wound up not being worth it, which is another reason why I actually started using Stand Store. So, when people buy digital products from you, you do not have to pay any fees. Which for me, I realized that I was sometimes spending $10 to $20 per sale in fees, which was honestly ridiculous. So, long-term wise, this is a great option.
So, for you guys, I found a promotion for Stand Store, and I put it at the top of my description box down below for you guys. If you use that link, you will get 15 days for free, so you can test it out before committing.
Once you click the link down in my description box below or the top comment, it will bring you to this page. I'm going to go through all the steps here. So, first thing we're going to do is click "Sign Up." We're going to go and put our name, email address, and we are going to click "Start 14-Day Free Trial." Okay, perfect. So, we're going to put our card info here and move to the next step. And don't stress about the username, you can change that later. So, we're going to just click here, "Let's Start." You can skip this or just put in your Instagram or TikTok at name. It's okay, just put anything in, again, you can change that later.
So, first thing is add a profile picture. We're just going to kind of go through these steps. So, I'm going to add my profile picture. Then, just make sure you set up your direct deposit. This is how you're going to receive the money. So, this is important so you can start getting paid as soon as you start creating digital products. And lastly, this is where you are going to create your product listings with Stand Store. So, just click on "Create Your Product." And I'm going to show you all the different options that they have.
So, on Stand Store, you can collect emails, you can have people book coaching calls through Stand, you can sell and host e-courses, you can have webinars, of course, digital products like PDF guides, exclusive content, ebooks, etc., custom products, and even recurring memberships and communities can also be done through Stand.
So, we're going to just go ahead and click on "Digital Product." And you can see that there's a couple different types of buttons that you can pick from here. I always say to make sure that your button is as skinny as possible because as people are going and scrolling on your Stand Store, you just want to make sure that everything is as skinny as possible so they can see all the offers that you have and you're not taking up too much space with one offer. But of course, if you have one offer, you can do one big one, obviously that doesn't matter.
So, if you guys do not have a mockup, I want you guys to go to Canva.com. You can make a free account with Canva, and you can actually make product mockups very easily through Canva. All you have to do is on Canva, just go to the search bar, and you could just type in "digital product templates" or another one that I use a lot is "ebook template mockups." And you can see here that they have a bunch of different mockups you can use. So, I always recommend finding the most simple one. This one is free, and you can use this. I don't even have a Canva Pro account. And just go ahead and click "Customize This Template." So, you can just delete the text here because we're just using this just for the simple picture on Stand Store. You can delete the background picture. And for example, I'm going to start a Stand Store about travel guides. I'm going to start selling travel guides because I love travel. Traveling is the niche that I have picked for the example of this video. So, I'm going to make a travel guide about Thailand. So, you can just go onto Canva and just search "Thailand." And here's a great picture of Thailand. And just go to text after this, click "Add a Heading." And you're just going to kind of size it until you find the perfect sizing. Just kind of switch the font around, find and see what font looks best. I always say to use the outline font here and increase it as much as possible, just so the text stands out better. I love to use white font with black outline or black font with white outline. When you're done, you can just go up to "Share" up here and then save it through here and download it.
So, now we just have to go back to Stand Store, click on "Choose Image," click "Upload Image," and we're going to upload that image that we just created. I like to crop it because you guys see it was a little bit unproportionate, so we're able to just crop it right here in Stand. So, just click "Crop." And then we have our image here. So, this is going to look a lot better than you just using like the Stand Store images. So, just make sure that you do this because then you actually make it look like an actual product.
I always like to just change it to "Grab Yours Now" or "Grab Yours Here." And then you can add the subtitle here, "Get a full travel guide for your Thailand trip." Okay, there we go. So, you can also customize the checkout page. So, you can click here on "Choose Image." And you can really just type in here. They have so many different images. So, whatever you want, you can just search through Stand's image library. And you can see here, we even found an image of Thailand that we can use here. Or of course, if this fits your aesthetic too, you can use what they have. But they literally have anything you could imagine here. So, just find what's related and just try some different keywords till you find the perfect picture for you here. And I'm just going to kind of reword this a little bit. And feel free to copy this as well for your own Stand Store. I do love how they already give this to you guys laid out, so you can just take what they have here and just put in whatever you want for that's related to your digital product.
So, after you're done with the description, you're going to set the price. I'm just going to leave it as $9.99. And then this is where you actually upload your digital product. So, say you have a PDF on your computer of the digital product, this is where you're going to upload that. So, you guys can see it's very straightforward and simple. So, when you're done, just click down here on "Publish." And we now have our digital product added to our Stand Store.
Okay, so this is what our store looks like right now. I'm going to show you guys how you can then edit the design to make it look more professional. So, you guys can see Stand Store has a bunch of different free templates that you guys can use. So, just kind of swipe through here and see which one you like the best. I honestly really like the look of this one. I feel like it looks very professional and it matches the vibe of my profile. Obviously, you can just kind of like look through them and see what makes the most sense. But again, keep in mind that if you're selling multiple products, try to keep the design that is as skinny as possible so people are able to see everything that you have to offer on one page. When they're on their phone, they show you the mobile view here because in the online world, 90% of users are on their phone shopping. So, I love that they do prioritize mobile devices. That again, just simplifies it so much. So, when you have one that you like, you can change up the font or the colors. When you're done, just click on "Save."
You can see here under the "Analytics" page, this is where you are going to be able to track all the money that you are bringing in. And if you click on "Income," this is where you're able to get money straight into the Stand account. And then from Stand account, it's going to go straight into your bank. Again, no fees, which is so amazing. You guys know if you guys have paid a lot of fees for your digital products, this is just great to have.
So, let me show you how you can add a freebie product to your Stand Store and how to actually set up the email marketing campaigns. So, let's say you have your freebie created. And again, you can do it literally in an hour. Just create something like a list or like a little mini guide or explaining like your or even telling your story, something that's just going to get and spark people's interest to want to download that freebie product. So, you're just going to go to the "My Store" tab, click "Collect Emails." And here is where you're going to customize the offer. So, then this will be utilized to get those emails.
Now, I want to talk about a method that's going to help you guys get more sales to sell your digital products, and that's by simply having a free offer. Anything that you can give that has value to give for free, this can help you to start growing your email list so that when those people claim that free offer, you can start targeting them with the email list.
Now, I wish I started an email list sooner. You guys know if you've watched my other videos with my other online stores and projects that I've worked on, I just never really prioritized email lists. But it wasn't until I started actually experimenting with digital products that I saw how important an email list is. So, it's really cool too that you're able to do this completely through your Stand Store. You're able to build an email list just by giving out those free products. So, then when again, somebody gets the free product, you now have their contact information so you can target them to then get them to buy something that might be even more valuable for them. And it allows you to actually own your customers' information, whereas you're not able to do that if you just grow a social media page or you're just growing online. You're not actually owning your followers. Your account could get deleted the next day. So, it's nice to actually have those customers off of social media.
And this is probably the best way. I have experimented with a lot of different email marketing websites like Mailchimp. I have used before. I have to say, it's kind of annoying because it's like not all centered under your one like umbrella. Whereas like with Stand Store, it's kind of cool because it's like everything's under like that one account. You have your payments under one account. You're not having to use Stripe that freaks out so many fees. You don't have to deal with Mailchimp that, you know, it's like not connecting right or you're only allowed to send out 300 emails or 200 emails or whatever they have like limitations before you have to pay for that. So, it is really cool that like everything is under one. So, I see why Stand Store has exploded so much. I see why you guys were like, "Hey, like, what about Stand Store? Like, are you going to show me Stand Store or not?"
