Top 6 Supplements für Langlebigkeit (die wirklich funktionieren)

When people talk about longevity today, they immediately think of biohacking, wearables, extensive diagnostics, or expensive routines. That's also a part of it, but I see it much more soberly at first. The basis is still the same and almost free. Sufficient sleep, a mix of strength and endurance training, adequate protein intake, and stable healthy blood sugar metabolism. With a focus on few highly processed convenience products. And then there's a second area that many still underestimate: the supply of macro and micronutrients. Because even if they eat healthily, many people have typical nutrient deficiencies, and it is precisely here that selected dietary supplements can be useful. Not as a replacement for nutrition, but as a supplement, if the quality, dosage, and combination are right. Today, I will therefore show you six dietary supplements that are often useful in the context of longevity from my point of view. Most people make two mistakes with supplements. Either they take nothing at all, even though they have clear deficiencies, which they may not even be aware of sometimes, or they take too much or too unstructured and then expect miracles. The right expectation would be: nutrition and training are the foundation. Supplements are tools, and tools only work if you know what you are using them for. [music] Let's start with a topic that repeatedly comes up in longevity research. NAD+. Simply put, NAD+ is a cofactor that every cell needs to produce energy and support repair processes. With increasing age, these NAD+-related processes decline in many people. At 50 or 60 years old, you often have only 60% of your original NAD+ level. And this is one of the reasons why cell energy and regeneration can noticeably decrease with age. There is a lack of energy, a lack of drive, and often also this inner resilience, i.e., the ability to recover quickly after stressful episodes, after illness, or intense exertion. It is important to note that this is not a hype, it is a very clear biological, physiological principle. And this is exactly where NAD+ support comes in. NAD+ Support is the supplement that aims to increase NAD+ levels. And NAD+ Support can be interesting for people who want to approach longevity strategically as a building block in an overall system, but not as a sole solution. NAD+ Support is a special NAD+ booster approved in the EU. It specifically provides the body with the precursors and building blocks that your cells need to produce more NAD+ themselves. Second, Coenzyme Q10, the mitochondria, the heart, performance. Coenzyme Q10 is a classic here, but precisely for that reason relevant. Q10 plays a role in mitochondrial energy production, i.e., where your cells produce ATP. The actual energy currency of the entire body. Especially for people who achieve a lot, who exercise, or for whom energy and resilience decrease with age, Coenzyme Q10 can be a useful building block. And here, quality counts. Stable forms, protection against oxidation, and ideally a combination that not only boosts the system but also protects it. Third, probably the most widespread in the population, a combination of Vitamin D3 and K2. This is important for basic regulation. Vitamin D is often just pushed into the "bone vitamin" corner, but that's only a small part. Vitamin D acts in the body like a hormone-like regulator that influences many systems. The immune system, muscle function, inflammation regulation, and also general energy regulation. K2 is useful in this combination because, simply put, it influences calcium utilization. And one point is important to me: do not blindly overdose. More is not always better. The clean strategy would be: measure your levels in your blood, supplement specifically if necessary, and then keep your levels stable in the optimal ranges. Fourth, Omega 3 is a core topic for longevity. The fatty acids EPA and DHA are building blocks of your cell membranes, and DHA is found in particularly high amounts in the brain and retinal structures of your eye. This is precisely why these fatty acids are so relevant for your nervous system, for your brain performance, and for long-term brain health. The problem is that modern nutrition is often very Omega-6 heavy. This does not mean that Omega-6 fatty acids are bad per se, but the ratio between Omega-3 and Omega-6 is skewed for many, and then the inflammation balance and inflammation regulation become significantly more difficult. For Omega-3 fatty acids, the quality of the product is extremely important. Not just the quantity, but also the freshness and oxidation protection. A good so-called Totox value is a quality feature here that you should know and that the manufacturer should also publish. Magnesium, stress, sleep, muscles, metabolism. Magnesium is probably one of the most underestimated building blocks of all. Many people are chronically stressed and tense, sleep poorly, have muscle problems, or react more sensitively to everyday stress. Magnesium is involved in very many enzymatic processes. It is also important here not to just take any form. There are forms that are well tolerated and can be well absorbed, i.e., bioavailable. And there are forms that have a laxative effect. This means that if you take too much of it, it can affect the gut and lead to diarrhea. Turmeric or even better curcumin metabolites, because they provide anti-inflammatory and cell protection. And this is a strategy in the context of longevity against chronic silent inflammation and is a key topic. Not the acute inflammation during an infection, but the low-level, persistent activities of the immune system that burden the tissue in the long term. Curcumin is already known to many, but bioavailability is often the sticking point. Therefore, special curcumin metabolites like tetrahydrocurcuminoids can be interesting because they are more available in some formulations than classic turmeric powder. And if we were to do this really correctly, I would have to make a separate video for each individual preparation now, because there are details in the selection, dosage, and combination that make the crucial difference. So that you get this in a compact and understandable way, you will find a free webinar in the description. There I will guide you step by step through these six building blocks and show you the most common mistakes and give you a clear checklist for implementation in everyday life. If you would prefer a ready-made solution instead. I have put together these six favorites as a bundle with Dre Health, with exactly the quality criteria that I discussed today. Links to the webinar and the bundle are both in the description. And always remember, longevity is not a one-time sprint or a trend. It is a system. Nutrition, exercise, regeneration, stress regulation are the foundation. Dietary supplements are then the amplifier, if they are chosen wisely and implemented cleanly. If this video has helped you, please subscribe to this channel and save it. And feel free to write in the comments which of these six supplements you already use or what questions you have about them. Stay curious about health topics and stay healthy. Your Lutz Graum. [music]
