Claude Code + Obsidian

Code Cave - רני אלבג ויין1:59

Obsidian is a very powerful tool for managing knowledge. It is essentially a tool that allows us to access what we write in a slightly different way. It operates in a slightly different way. It does this through connections between notes. This is how it actually creates a kind of graph of connections. You could say it's an associative structure, like a second brain. Over time, as it develops and grows, it can become truly very, very valuable for us. Because think about it, we are documenting our lives in Obsidian, at least the part we want to put into Obsidian. And slowly, over the years, patterns emerge. Patterns that describe the way we look at certain things in life, say, certain habits in our lives. Perhaps a part we would want to take, continue, and strengthen. A part we would want to get rid of.

And the coolest thing about this point is that we can do all of this today with Claude Code. This is a recurring pattern on my channel, you've noticed. I connect almost everything to Claude. First, I'll connect my coffee machine to Claude, and then let Claude Code actually do all of this for us. Because from the start, Claude Code, now if you tell it "my Obsidian, it will do it in such a way that, of course, it will preserve the connections, it will make my life much easier." And the smart structure of Obsidian itself >> [snoring sound] >> And the speed and the virtuosity of Claude Code will give us a lot of power here.

Connecting Claude Code to Obsidian is the most trivial thing that can be. It's even funny because it's simply telling Claude Code, "This is my Obsidian, continue from here." And then we are actually causing Claude Code to run on the Obsidian folder, what is called in Obsidian language, the vault of Obsidian, if you want to see how I do all of this. Because there's a bit more. I've linked the relevant video on my YouTube to this video. If you are watching me on Instagram, the link to the channel is in the bio as usual. And I think we'll see each other there.
