But you do not let your heart grow cold. Do not spend your nights plotting what should happen to them. Instead, spend your nights on your knees, laying your pain before God, and trust him to do what is right. If he chooses to discipline them swiftly, let it be so. If he chooses to give them time to repent, let it be so. If he chooses to lift you higher while they fade into silence, let it be so. The hand of God is just, and it will never fail. Lift your eyes and remember this truth. When someone wrongs you, they do not simply touch you. They touch the plan of God for your life. They interfere with what he has destined and that is why they place themselves in danger. You may not even have to raise your voice. God himself will speak for you. You may not even have to lift a hand. God himself will act for you. And when he does, you will stand in awe of how thorough his justice is.
