2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Old things have passed away, not are passing away, not will pass away, already gone, but your pastor preaches this verse and then spends 45 minutes telling you to work on your old nature, the one Paul just declared legally dead."
There is a contradiction at the center of most Christian teaching, and it is keeping an entire generation spiritually paralyzed. Stop right there. Let that land for a moment. You have been handed a Bible that declares you are a brand new creation. You have been told by the spirit of the living God that the old things have passed away. And behold, all things have become new. And then you have been handed a sanctification program, a 12-step spiritual improvement checklist, a behavior modification manual, and a weekly guilt cycle that treats the new creation as though it never happened.
Welcome to this teaching in the tradition of E.W. Kenyon, the revelation channel, where we take the word of God seriously enough to let it say what it actually says. And in the next several minutes, I am going to take you deeper into the legal reality of what happened to you at the moment of your new birth than most pulpits have ever dared to go.
Because here is the problem with most Christian teaching. Most preachers park at the threshold of the new creation. They announce it. They celebrate it on Easter Sunday. They read 2 Corinthians 5:17 over newly converted believers. And everyone applauds. But then they never walk you through the door. They never show you what is on the other side of that verse. What it looks like, what it means for your body, your circumstances, your authority over darkness and your daily walk on this earth. They preach around the new creation. They preach beside it. They preach about it, but they never preach through it. And the result is a generation of born-again believers who have the spiritual genetics of kings and priests, but who live like spiritual orphans. They have the blood of Jesus over their lives, but they carry themselves like people who are not quite sure whether God wants to help them. They know the verse. They cannot walk in the reality that ends today. Get your spirit ready because this is not information. This is revelation.
And before I take you into the diagnosis, I want you to understand something about what you are about to receive. E.W. Kenyon wrote in the two kinds of knowledge that there are two ways a human being can know anything. There is the knowledge that comes through the physical senses, through experience and reason and empirical observation. And there is the knowledge that comes through the word of God alone, received into the recreated human spirit and held there by faith, regardless of what the senses report. He called these sense knowledge and revelation knowledge. And his entire ministry was dedicated to one thesis: that the body of Christ had been built almost entirely on the first kind of knowledge, and it had to be rebuilt on the second.
That is what this teaching is. This is a rebuilding project. Not of your circumstances. Not yet. First, a rebuilding of your knowledge base, your identity framework, the internal system from which you interpret everything that happens to you. Because until that internal system is built on revelation knowledge rather than sense knowledge, your circumstances will never sustainably change. You can have temporary victories, but without a foundation of revelation knowledge, you will always drift back to the floor.
Now let me diagnose the problem precisely, because if you do not understand the disease, you cannot apply the cure, and vague spiritual frustration is the most common condition in the church today. Here is the truth about why you have been failing in this specific area. Not because you are weak, not because you lack faith in some abstract, general sense, not because you have some hidden sin that God is punishing you for. Though religious tradition has certainly suggested all three of those options to you over the years, you have been failing because you have been operating from the wrong identity. And that wrong identity was not given to you by the devil directly. It was handed to you by a religious system, a well-meaning system. A system full of sincere people that confused the old man with the new man, that confused the sin nature with the recreated spirit, that confused spiritual growth with spiritual birth, and those are not the same thing.
Spiritual growth and spiritual birth are not the same event, and they are not the same process. Let me say it plainly. There is a foundational difference between what you were born with and what you were born again into. Your first birth gave you a nature inherited from Adam. A sin consciousness, a sense-knowledge-driven life that was dominated entirely by what you could see, feel, taste, touch, and smell. Everything you knew about yourself came through your senses. Everything you believed about reality came through your senses. And that nature, that first-birth nature, was helpless, spiritually dead, dominated by the principality of the air, and subject to the curse of the law. That was your first nature. Religion has been trying to fix that nature, repair that nature, subdue that nature, and manage that nature for 2,000 years. But God did not come to fix what Adam broke. He came to replace it entirely.
The lie you have believed. The lie that has kept you circling the same mountain for years and possibly decades, is this: that you are still fundamentally the same person you were before you were born again, only now with better behavior goals and a church membership. That the Christian life is fundamentally about improvement, about becoming something you are not yet, about gradually and painfully, over decades of spiritual discipline, growing into the person God designed you to be.
And here is the truth that shatters that lie at its very foundation: You are not becoming. You are. You are not growing into a new creation. You are a new creation. You are not working toward righteousness. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, right now. Not when you get your act together. Not after your next breakthrough. Not when your behavior finally catches up to your confession. Right now, at this very moment, as you are listening to these words, the word of God declares that you are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:10. Complete, not partial, not in process, not 80% there, complete.
The problem, of course, is that your senses do not confirm this. Your feelings do not confirm this. Your track record does not confirm this. And your pastor, standing at the front of the room with the best of intentions, has not been confirming it either, because he has been trained in a system that does not know what to do with this kind of radical new covenant language except to soften it, to qualify it, to balance it with enough caveats that it becomes completely powerless.
And so you have defaulted to what E.W. Kenyon called sense knowledge: the knowledge that comes through your five senses, through your emotions, through your circumstances and your history, rather than revelation knowledge, the knowledge that comes through the word of God alone, confirmed by the witness of the recreated human spirit.
Sense knowledge says, "I have prayed about this for 3 years and nothing has changed. Therefore, this covenant does not work for me." Revelation knowledge says, "The word declares it is done. The manifestation is coming. I govern my speech and my expectation by the word, not by the delay."
Sense knowledge says, "I feel far from God. I must have done something wrong. He must not want to answer me right now." Revelation knowledge says, "God declared in Hebrews 13:5 that he will never leave you and he will never forsake you. What I feel has no authority to override what he declared."
Sense knowledge says, "The symptoms are getting worse. I must accept that this is my condition." Revelation knowledge says, "By his stripes I was healed. First Peter 2:24. The healing is already purchased. I am enforcing a covenant right, not begging for a miracle."
You see the difference? One starts with the evidence of the senses and draws conclusions. The other starts with the evidence of the word and governs the senses from there. And that difference, that single difference in the starting point of your knowledge, determines whether you live as a spiritual ruler or a spiritual pauper. That is the root of your struggle, not your willpower, not your discipline, not your prayer life in isolation. The root is that you have been trying to produce from the outside what God has already placed on the inside, and you have been trying to become what you already are.
Now let me take you into the foundational revelation, because this is where the word goes places that most preaching simply does not follow. Turn in your spirit to 2 Corinthians 5:17. Here is what the Greek text actually declares. And this matters, because translators made choices in this verse that obscure what Paul was shouting from the rooftops of his revelation. The word translated "new" in that verse is the Greek word kainos, not neos. This is absolutely critical, and I do not want you to pass over it. Neos means new in terms of time: recently made, the latest version, the newest model just off the line. If Paul had used neos, he would have been saying, "You are a recently manufactured version of the same basic thing, an upgraded human being, a renovated soul."
But Paul used kainos. And kainos means new in kind, new in quality, new in nature, something that has no precedent anywhere in the created order, something that did not and could not exist before the resurrection of Jesus Christ. When Paul says you are a kainos creation, he is saying you are a category of being that has never existed before. Not an improved Adam, not a repaired soul, something entirely unprecedented, something that required the death and resurrection of the eternal Son of God to make possible, something so radically new that the angels look at it with wonder.
And the verb tense, the verb tense in that verse is perfect tense in the Greek, meaning the action is completed and its results are standing in the present. Not "was completed and finished in the past with nothing to show for it now," but completed with permanent, present, abiding results. The old things passed away in the Greek, gegonan, meaning they have become past. They have entered into permanent pastness. And the gone-ness is standing. It is not eroding. It is not conditional. All things have become new. And that newness is not gradually arriving. It is presently established. God is not working on your new creation. Your new creation is working.
And I want to go one level deeper on this, because the implications are staggering, and the church has barely scratched the surface of them. 2 Peter 1:4 declares that through the precious and exceeding great promises of God, you have become a partaker of the divine nature. A partaker, not an observer, not an admirer from a distance. A partaker, a sharer, a fellow participant in the actual divine nature of God. The Greek word is koinonos: a fellow sharer and covenant partner who has received a portion of the thing itself. You were not just forgiven and sent back into the world as an improved natural human being. You were born of the very life of God. The zoe life, the uncreated life, the eternal, self-existing life of God himself was imparted to your recreated spirit at the moment of your new birth.
That is what Jesus meant in John 10:10 when he said, "He came that you might have life and have it more abundantly." The word "life" there is zoe, not bios. Bios is the natural, biological life you received at your first birth. Zoe is the God-kind of life, the life that is above and beyond natural existence. The life that overcomes darkness and disease and death because it carries the nature of the one who is above all principality and power. That zoe life lives in you right now. And a being who carries that life is not subject to the same limitations that govern unregenerate natural humanity.
Now go to First John 4:4. This is one of the most powerful identity declarations in the entire New Testament, and most believers can quote it without ever having received it as a personal, legal fact. "You are of God, little children, and you have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." Notice the grammar: "with your spirit, not just your mind." You have overcome. Not "you are working toward overcoming." Not "you will overcome if you maintain your spiritual disciplines." Not "you might overcome on a good day if your faith is strong enough." You have overcome: completed action, standing result. The overcoming is already accomplished as a fact of covenant standing for every believer in Christ.
And the one who is in you, the greater one, is not a visitor. He is not dropping by on prayer nights. He is not available some mornings more than others, depending on how your devotional time went. He is the permanent resident authority of your recreated spirit. The Holy Spirit, the same Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, has taken up absolute, permanent residence in the hidden man of your heart. He has moved into the new creation that you are. And he is not leaving. He is not fluctuating. He is not going anywhere.
And then take yourself to Ephesians 2:6. "God has raised us up together and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Present tense. You are seated right now, positionally, legally, covenantally seated, not on the floor, not groveling in the dust of your own failure and unworthiness. Not kneeling at the back of a divine waiting room, hoping your number gets called. Seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ. That is your legal address. That is your actual spiritual location at this moment. You do not need to achieve a place of authority. You are already there. You do not need to earn the right to govern. The governing authority was given to you as a free gift the moment the Holy Spirit breathed the life of God into your recreated spirit. The only question is whether you know it and whether you are walking out your days governing from that place of seated authority, or whether you are still sitting on the floor of sense knowledge, looking up at a throne that is actually your own.
Now I want to give you a picture that will serve as the spine of everything I have taught you today, and I want you to hold on to it. Imagine a man who was born into deep poverty, raised in a tenement building in a rough part of the city. Wearing ill-fitting clothes that were donated by strangers, eating whatever could be scraped together, he learned to make himself small. He apologized for taking up space. He moved through the world with his head down. Not because he was a bad person, but because from his first breath, the world had communicated to him that he did not have much standing in it, that he was near the bottom of every list, that asking for things was presumptuous, that wanting more was arrogance. And this identity calcified in him by the time he was a grown man. You could hear it in his voice, the slight hesitation before he made a request, the way he qualified every need with self-deprecating language, the manner in which he held expectations low. Because low expectations meant less crushing disappointment. His poverty was not just financial. It was written into his identity.
Now imagine that when this man is in his late 20s, a lawyer contacts him, not just any lawyer, but an attorney who has been searching for him for years, carrying ancient documents that trace this man's lineage back further than he imagined possible, back through generations to a family of enormous covenant wealth and royal authority. The lawyer sits him down at a table covered in leather-bound folders and aged parchment and shows him records so meticulously documented that they are legally unassailable. The lawyer tells him, "Your great-great-grandfather was a man of enormous means and covenant faithfulness. Before he died, he established a trust. He named every descendant in his bloodline as a beneficiary. The trust has been standing and growing in legal establishment since the day it was created. Everything in this trust belongs to you by right of lineage. It has always belonged to you. It belonged to you on the day you were born. It belonged to you on every day you spent cold and hungry and ashamed. Every day you apologized for existing. The inheritance was standing and waiting for you to step into it. It was never not yours. You simply did not know."
And here is the part of the story that I want you to carry with you. When the lawyer finishes speaking, there is silence. And in that silence, this man faces a choice. He can receive the documents as legal truth and begin walking differently tomorrow. Or he can look at the lawyer and say, "But I do not feel like an heir. I have no experiential evidence of this inheritance. The people who know me know me as a pauper. This does not line up with the identity I have carried my whole life." And if he makes that second choice, if he decides that his feelings and his history and his sense of himself carry more weight than the legal documents in front of him, he will walk out of that office poor. Not because the inheritance was not real. Not because the documents were fraudulent. Not because the trust was empty, but because he chose his sense knowledge over covenant truth.
That is the choice in front of you right now. He had all the legal rights of an heir every day of his difficult life. He walked in none of the experiential reality of those rights. Not because they were not real, not because the trust did not exist, but because no one had ever put the documents in front of him and said, "This is who you actually are. You are that man."
The body of Christ is that man. Your heavenly Father, before you drew your first breath, established an inheritance through the blood of his own Son before the foundation of the world, according to Ephesians 1:4. He chose you in Christ. The covenant was in place. The trust was funded by the most precious currency that has ever been given, the blood of the eternal Son of God. The legal transaction was complete on the day Jesus declared, "It is finished," from the cross of Calvary. Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, according to Ephesians 1:3, was already deposited to your account in Christ. Not some of them, everyone. The healing, the provision, the authority, the peace, the protection, the wisdom, the favor. Every blessing that belongs to the new creation was deposited to your covenant account the moment Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father. And for years, possibly decades, you have been living below your inheritance, not because it was taken from you and not because you forfeited it through imperfection, but because the system that was supposed to show you the documents kept handing you spiritual improvement programs instead. That changes today.
Now, let me take you into the legal framework of the new creation, because this is where revelation knowledge becomes the governing force in your daily life, and the sense knowledge that has held you captive begins to lose its grip. And I want to spend some time here, because this is the section that most teaching skips. Most teaching tells you what you have and stops short of telling you what to do with it. Kenyon was different. Kenyon showed you how to operate as a covenant holder. How to walk as the legal possessor of rights that have been established and sealed and cannot be legitimately challenged.
Let me give you the full picture of what happened at Calvary from a legal standpoint. Because the cross was not primarily a religious event. It was a legal transaction in the courtroom of the universe. The enemy of your soul is not a legitimate authority over the new creation. Let me say that with absolute precision. Satan is not your landlord. He is a trespasser. He lost every legal right to govern the recreated human spirit, the covenant believer's body, possessions, household, and future on the day Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. And you were identified with that resurrection through the new birth.
Colossians 2:14 and 15 lays it out in the language of a Roman legal proceeding. "God wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against you, that was contrary to you, and he took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross, having stripped principalities and powers of their armor and authority. He made a public spectacle of them, leading them in triumph in it." The Greek word for that triumph is thriambeuo. The word used for the Roman triumph parade, where the conquering general led his defeated enemies through the streets in chains for all the city to see. The public humiliation of a completely vanquished foe. Jesus did not negotiate a settlement with darkness. He did not reach a compromise. He led the defeated enemy through the streets of the spiritual realm in open humiliation and then sat down at the right hand of the Father as the absolute sovereign over all creation. And you, as a new creation in Christ, indwelt by the same Spirit who accomplished that victory, are the enforcement agent of that finished work on the earth.
Now here is where the legal framework has direct daily application. When the enemy comes with symptoms in your body, he is not bringing you a fact about who you are or what your future holds. He is bringing you a trespass notice. And the appropriate response to a trespasser is not sympathy. It is not negotiation. It is not wondering whether perhaps this trespasser has a right to be here that you are not aware of. The appropriate response is to enforce the boundary established by the covenant.
Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." The court has ruled: "Not guilty, righteous, complete." When condemnation comes, when the accuser of the brethren stands before the throne and says, "Look at this one. Look at what they have done. Look at how they have failed. Look at their track record." Your covenant answer is the blood of the Lamb. The blood speaks better things, according to Hebrews 12:24, than the blood of Abel. Abel's blood cried from the ground for judgment. Jesus' blood speaks from before the throne for righteousness. Your advocate is not silent. He is not losing the case. The verdict has been rendered in your favor, and it is standing.
First Peter 2:24 declares, "By his stripes you were healed." Were perfect passive indicative in the Greek: completed in the past with standing present results. The healing was purchased, the receipt was signed, the transaction is done. When you stand on that verse and speak healing over your body, you are not asking God to reconsider whether healing is in his will for you today. You are not presenting new evidence to a divine jury. You are enforcing a covenant reality that was established before you were born, sealed with blood that cannot be disputed, and standing in legal authority over every symptom that contradicts it.
And Philippians 4:19 says, "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Not according to your spiritual performance, not according to your consistency in tithing, not according to how many consecutive mornings you had devotions, but "according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." That is the standard. That is the source. And his riches in glory are not rationed. They are not running low. They have never been insufficient.
That is the difference between religion and revelation. Religion begs. Revelation enforces. Religion approaches God as a spiritual stranger, hoping for a personal favor. Revelation approaches God as a covenant partner, walking in legal rights that were bought with a price. A very high price. A price that your Father paid with the most precious thing he had, and he paid it gladly for you. Do not treat what was bought at that price as a maybe.
Now, let me tell you with precision what to do with everything you have received today. Because doctrine that stays in the mind without entering the walk is spiritual furniture. It decorates the room. It does not heat the house. You need to put this in your bones. And here is how. But first, understand the framework from which all of this application flows. You are not practicing spiritual disciplines to earn what you need. You are operating from a position of completed covenant standing to enforce what has already been provided. That shift in orientation is not a minor adjustment. It is the difference between a servant working for a wage and an heir walking in an inheritance. Both may perform similar actions on the outside, but one is toiling towards something uncertain, and the other is administering something that is already legally theirs. Everything I am about to tell you must be done from the second posture, not the first.
If you approach confession as a tool to persuade God to act, you will be frustrated. If you approach confession as a tool to enforce what God has already established, you will see results that astonish you. The first thing you must do is stop confessing what you see and start confessing what the word says. Every time you open your mouth and describe your problem in detail, you are not just venting. You are planting. You are seeding your spirit with the testimony of sense knowledge. And whatever you plant is what grows. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which Paul references in Romans 8:2, is not suspended because you are having a hard day. It is always working, and it is working on whatever you are speaking.
When symptoms manifest in your body, instead of rehearsing every sensation to everyone who will listen, go to your private place and speak to the situation out loud, not to God, to the situation. Because that is what Jesus did at the tomb of Lazarus, at the Sea of Galilee, at the fig tree. He spoke to the circumstances, not about them. He commanded, he enforced, he did not petition. And he said that whoever believes in him will do the same works and greater works. Declare to your body, "I am the body of Christ, and I am redeemed from the curse of the law. According to Galatians 3:13, by the stripes of Jesus, I was healed. According to 1 Peter 2:24, sickness has no legal right in this body, and I refuse to receive it as a covenant reality. I enforce the verdict of the cross over every cell, every organ, every system in this body in the name of Jesus Christ." Say that with authority. Say it with the understanding that you are not reciting a formula. You are standing in the courtroom of the word, and you are enforcing the verdict that your advocate, the Lord Jesus Christ, already won on your behalf. Say it once. Say it again. Say it until your spirit rises and the sense-knowledge noise begins to quiet under the weight of the covenant truth coming out of your mouth.
The second thing you must do is meditate on your identity in Christ until it becomes more real to you than what the mirror shows you. Kenyon used to say that most Christians know what they have far better than they know who they are. They know they have forgiveness. They have salvation. They have eternal life. But they do not know that they are new creations. They are righteousness. They are the dwelling place of the Most High God. They are complete in him. They are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Take one identity statement from the word per day and saturate yourself in it from morning to evening. Not a chapter, not 10 verses, one statement. Take Ephesians 2:6 and say it while you are driving: "I am raised up and seated with Christ in the heavenly places." Not "I will be," not "I am working toward that position." I am seated right now. Take 2 Corinthians 5:21 and say it while you are washing dishes: "I am the righteousness of God in Christ." Not "I have righteousness in principle." I am righteousness as a present fact. This is who I am. The word of God is alive and active, as Hebrews 4:12 declares, and it is sharper than any two-edged sword. Every time you rehearse it, that living word does active work in the cells of your recreated spirit. It strengthens what was planted at the new birth. It expands the consciousness of righteousness and crowds out the sin consciousness that religion installed in you. It is a daily renewal of the mind that Paul commands in Romans 12:2, not a one-time download, a daily renewal. Do it daily.
The third thing you must do is refuse to testify against your covenant. Stop making your circumstances your testimony. Your testimony is not what is happening in your body or your bank account. Your testimony is what the word of God says happened to you in Christ. Your testimony is that the old man died. Your testimony is that a new man, indwelt by the Spirit of God, is living in this house. Your testimony is the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. And according to Revelation 12:11, that is exactly how the saints overcome the accuser. When someone asks how you are, and the symptoms are loud, and the circumstances are challenging, you do not need to deny reality. You need to declare the higher reality. Say, "I am standing on the word. I am believing God for the manifestation of what he has already purchased for me. I am in a fight, but I am not losing because the covenant holds regardless of what I feel today." That is not pretense. That is faith speaking from the verdict.
Now, I must warn you, and I must do it with clarity, because the enemy does not give ground without resistance. And if you are not prepared for that resistance, you will mistake it for a sign that the word is not working. Here is what you need to understand about how the enemy operates against a believer who has received revelation knowledge. He does not come with obvious temptations at first. He does not appear with a pitchfork and an obvious agenda. He comes as a reasonable voice inside your own thought life. He comes with a language of spiritual maturity and balance. He sounds, very often, like your own conscience. And this is why Kenyon spent so much time on the subject of the inward monitor, the recreated human spirit, and learning to distinguish between the voice of the recreated spirit and the voice of the enemy operating through your unrenewed mind. The unrenewed mind, the mind that has not yet been transformed by the renewing described in Romans 12:2, still speaks the language of sense knowledge. It still defaults to the evidence of the senses. And when the enemy wants to neutralize a covenant believer who is beginning to walk in authority, he aligns his suggestions with the thought patterns of the unrenewed mind and makes them sound completely reasonable and even spiritually virtuous. This is the deception you must learn to recognize.
The first weapon the enemy deploys when revelation knowledge begins to rise in a believer is condemnation. And you must know the difference between condemnation and conviction, because they feel similar, but they are completely different in their source and their function. Conviction is the Holy Spirit drawing your attention to a specific act or attitude that has separated your fellowship with God. It is brief. It is specific. It always points you toward a solution in the blood, and it lifts the moment you respond to it with repentance and receive the cleansing of First John 1:9. Conviction is redemptive. It is the grace of God pulling you back into communion.
Condemnation is nothing like that. Condemnation is a general, dark cloud of unworthiness with no specific content. It does not point to a specific sin. It points to your general inadequacy as a person. It says things like, "Who do you think you are to declare healing when you have the prayer life you have? Who are you to expect covenant blessing when you know what you did last week? You are not good enough for this to work for you." And it grows heavier and more oppressive the more you engage with it. Do not engage with it. Do not open the envelope. Do not examine its contents looking for the kernel of truth that justifies listening to it. The truth is that your righteousness does not rest on your performance. It rests on the blood of Jesus. And the answer to condemnation is not a better defense of your character. The answer is the blood. Plead the blood over your conscience. Receive the cleansing and step back into the full authority of the new creation.
The second weapon is what Kenyon identified as sympathy with the symptom. This one is subtler, and it is more dangerous, because it dresses itself in the clothes of spirituality. It sounds like wisdom. It sounds like humility. It says things like, "Maybe God is teaching me something through this suffering. Maybe my expectation was too high, and I need to accept my situation. Maybe this promise was for a more spiritually mature believer, and I need to wait until I get there. Maybe I should be grateful for what I have instead of pressing for more."
And let me be clear, there is a place for genuine spiritual learning in hardship. There is a place for contentment. There is a place for growth through trial. Paul himself described the process of learning contentment in Philippians 4. But there is a profound difference between the Holy Spirit using your circumstances to deepen your character, and the enemy using your discouragement to make you lower the word to the level of your experience. When your experience contradicts the word, the word does not need to be lowered. The experience needs to be governed. You are not being humble when you accept what the word says is not God's will for you. You are being defeated. You are not being realistic when you settle for less than the covenant provides. You are being robbed.
Refuse sympathy with the symptom. Return to the verdict. Stand in the courtroom of God's word, where the ruling is already on record, and the case is already closed. And when you stand there, stand there as the heir. Stand there as the one who has covenant documents in hand. Stand there as the one whose advocate never loses a case. Stand there until the sense-knowledge voice quiets, and the revelation knowledge of who you are in Christ rises up inside of you, and you can feel, even in your natural senses, the reality of the greater one who lives in you.
Now, let me lead you in a declaration before we close. And I need you to say this aloud, not in your mind, with your voice and your breath. Because voice-activated authority is how the new creation governs. Your words are instruments of covenant enforcement. The same God who spoke the worlds into existence created you in his image and likeness, and he created you to exercise dominion through your voice. So say this with me:
"I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old things have passed away, and all things have become new. I am not the old man. I am not the sin-conscious, sense-dominated, Satan-subdued creature that was born of Adam. I am born of God. I am born of the Spirit. I am indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who is greater than any force in the created world. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am complete in him. I am seated in heavenly places. I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ. Satan has no legal authority in my life. The verdict of the cross is final. The blood of Jesus speaks for me before the throne. I enforce the finished work of Christ over my body, my mind, my finances, my household, and my future. I am not begging. I am not striving in my own strength. I am walking in covenant rights that Jesus purchased with his blood. I am healed. I am provided for. I am victorious. Not because I feel these things today, but because the word of God declares them, and the word is settled forever in heaven."
That is your declaration. Write it down. Speak it before you speak to anyone else in the morning. Let it be the first words out of your mouth before the circumstances of the day are allowed to present their evidence. Let the verdict go first.
And let me tell you what happens when you do this consistently. The first few days, it will feel like nothing. Your feelings will not cooperate. The circumstances will not immediately shift. That is normal. That is not failure. That is how faith operates. Faith speaks the word before the manifestation arrives. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen, not the evidence of what is already visible, the evidence of what is not yet seen. That is the realm in which covenant confession operates. It is not confirming what you can already see. It is establishing in the natural realm what is already standing in the spirit realm. Keep confessing, keep meditating, keep refusing sympathy with the symptom, because at some point, and the timing belongs to God, the manifestation crosses from the spirit realm into the natural realm, and what the word has been declaring becomes visible. Not because you conjured it, not because of some mystical force of positive thinking, but because you aligned your speech and your expectation with a covenant that was already established, and you held that alignment long enough for the natural realm to catch up to the spiritual reality. That is how the new creation walks. From the inside out, from the spirit to the soul to the body, from revelation knowledge to lived experience.

Not because it expires, but because sense knowledge never stops broadcasting.
Here is what I have learned walking this out over years of practice and stumbling and returning. The moment I open my mouth and begin describing my problem in detail to someone who cannot change it, I have already surrendered the ground I was standing on. Not because talking is wrong, but because there is a difference between seeking the wisdom of a covenant brother and rehearsing a case for the enemy. One plants faith, the other plants doubt dressed up as honesty. I have also learned that even mature believers, people who have walked in this revelation for years, have hard days. Days when the declaration feels hollow in the mouth, and the symptoms feel enormous. And on those days, the covenant still holds. The blood still speaks. The word is still settled in heaven. Whether your feelings agree with it or not, the greater one lives in you today. In whatever season you are in, he has not left. He is not waiting for you to get your act together before he commits fully to being in you.
