Vision 2026 with Mark Varughese | Sunday Service

Kingdomcity26:04

Transcription

Welcome everyone to Vision Sunday 2026. And please, can I invite you, if you're not already, to stand with me if you're physically able in every auditorium around the world because we're going to pray together. And as you do, why don't you join me in giving everyone else in your room and around the world a huge welcome. Come on, let's do that right now. Welcome them in all 20 nations that we're currently physically meeting in right now. Amen.

Because we don't want anyone to feel lost, alone, or unknown. We have connect groups all over the city. Because we want everyone to grow in depth and maturity, we have Greenhouse and Kingdom City College available to everyone. And because we want everyone to find meaning and purpose, because we need you in every location to help contribute and make a difference to the people that are assembling right now, we have carriers in every location. We have our usual high points that are this year, no doubt, going to be incredible moments of encounter. Our conferences in Malaysia, in Australia, in Botswana, in Dubai. Be in the room. As we stand, as we pray, as we commit this great year to God, there is so much He has in store. There is so much more. So, let's get our hearts hungry as we pray.

Almighty God, I thank You that today we stand in awe of You. We stand in awe of all You have done. We stand in anticipation of all You're about to do. I pray for every person, from the newest visitor to the longest-standing member, that no one in any country would feel isolated or left out. But God, by the power of Your word and the wonder and the comfort of Your presence, You will draw all men as we lift high the only name that matters, the name of Jesus. We dedicate our vision. Open our eyes that we may truly see in 2026 like never before in Jesus' mighty name. And everyone around the world said, "Amen." Amen. Amen. And amen.

Go ahead and please take your seats. Before the incredible pastor who leads your location gets up to share concisely the outworking of vision for your context in your city, I want to share with you the word that I have felt the Lord put on my spirit for our church for this year. And the word is not a marketing thing. It's a prophetic invitation in scripture for your whole life. And in 2026, if you would come into agreement with the word of God, you never know what could be released into your life this year. And the word is overflow. Overflow. To flow over, to run over.

Overflow in a biblical context is a metaphor to describe the state where God's goodness flows beyond measure to you and through you. And I believe 2026, there is a prophetic invitation to experience the goodness of God, the overflow of God. And it shouldn't be limited to one year, but there are certainly seasons of outpouring. And I believe this is one of them. And the season of outpouring will lead to overflow. Overflow is something you should genuinely expect in God, and you can believe for in every area of your life: spiritually, materially, relationally.

Overflow isn't waste or opulence. Even when Jesus multiplied loaves and fish beyond what was just needed, there were 12 basketfuls left over. There was overflow, but it was accounted for. And normally, when you talk about overflow in the room, in every room right now, there's probably two broad responses. The majority, the vast majority will say, "Amen. I receive it, Lord. Let it be." But there may be a few who are wondering, "Is this a selfish or a self-absorbed request?" And maybe a few may even wonder, "Is this some sort of prosperity gospel message?" But can I encourage you? Don't let the bad example of a few hijack God's nature and His heart towards you.

You know, if we're really honest for a moment, and I asked you in every location right now to raise your hand, who wants to prosper in your career, in your job? If you're really honest, you'd say, "Yes." I don't know anyone who says, "No, thanks. I'd like to be demoted or fired." If I said, "How many of you want to prosper in your relationships?" No one's going to go, "No, I'd like it to all deteriorate." You're going to all say yes and amen. Who would like your finances to prosper? Amen. Who would like your health to prosper? No one's saying, "No, I'd like to be sick in the name of humility." We want to prosper. Human nature wants to prosper in every area. And yet, when it comes to the gospel, because a handful have hijacked it, we are scared. And my concern is not the few that are cynical and bitter. My concern is the vast majority are crippled into believing God wholeheartedly for overflow because of the need to somehow look humble in the name of poverty.

Today, let's shake that off and let's believe that this year can be a year of overflow in every area. 3 John verse 2 declares, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things, not some things, and not just spiritual things, in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers." So today, let's straighten out this lie. Let's rid ourselves of this half-in, half-out fear and just trust Almighty God that in the good days and in the bad days, in the mountaintops and in the valleys, He's going to be a God who overflows in your life, through your life. And you and I will live in a state of overflow.

And the best place to start is to look at the source of overflow. The source of overflow. God is the source of overflow. Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now to Him who is able to do..." This is His nature. Ready? "...exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think." The Amplified says, "or even imagine." That is the nature of God. Not average, not mediocre, and not just enough. He's able to do exceedingly, overflow, abundantly, overflow.

John 7:37 and 38 says, "On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.' And he who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." See, he who believes in Me, that means God is the source of this river. God is the source of this overflow. In the scripture, He says, "Give, and it shall be given back to you." But not just what you gave. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. That's overflow. He says, "When you bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, see if I will not pour out a blessing you cannot even contain." What's that? Overflow. Proverbs 3: "Honor the Lord with your possessions and the first fruits of all your increase." Why? So your vats will overflow. Your barns will be filled with plenty. This is right throughout scripture. God is a God of overflow. He wants to bless you. He wants to pour His goodness out over you. So rid the false humility and get rid of the selfishness in your heart and declare, God, I just say yes and amen to Your word.

It makes complete sense that God is the source of overflow because He's eternal. He's limitless. He does not have lack in His nature. And if 2026 is going to be a year of overflow, here's the first thing: we need to tap into the source of the overflow. We need to say, God, the source is not me networking or maneuvering or or or trying to manipulate life. It's God. I just want more of You. I just want You in my life. You are the source. I want rivers of living water to flow out of me. I want everything You have for me to flow. I don't want to be restricted. I don't want to be faithless. I don't want to be in doubt. I don't want to be in unbelief. Your word declares that in Your presence there is fullness of joy. Not just what you need. There's an overflow. God, we're praying this year that every part of our life will overflow. That our joy will overflow. Our peace will overflow. Even in the valley, Your presence will overflow. Imagine if this year in your city, praise overflows, prayer overflows, worship overflows, the favor of God overflows, resource overflows. If you receive that, come on, say amen. Amen.

Psalm 23, very clear: "You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." The overflow is connected to the anointing. The source of the overflow is so important. God is the source. So if you hunger for Him, overflow is the byproduct.

But let's look for a second at the evidence of overflow. God is truly the source of my overflow. But what is the evidence that I'm in overflow? Did anyone here in the room struggle with anything in 2025? Maybe an addiction, an anxiety, a fear, a secret sin, and you tried everything: altar calls, prayer, deliverance, fasting. And all of those work. And I highly recommend them. But I have something brewing in my spirit that I want to submit to you this year. What if this year, instead of focusing so hard on getting rid of the enemy's hold on your life, you flushed it out because of the overflow of God's presence? In the same way, you can work hard to clean a pipe and remove the dirt that is lodged inside it. Or you can just flush it with rivers of living water because overflow displaces the demonic. Overflow gets rid of stuff that you could spend your life trying to get rid of. But how about just, "God, fill me up till I'm overflowing. Flush Your presence right through my life. So anything that is not of You literally leaves me in the overflow of Your work in my heart."

See, the evidence of overflow in your life is victory. It's transformation. It's a change in nature because you are now immersed in the nature of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Do you know when Jesus said in Matthew 28, "Go into all the world and make disciples." And He said this phrase, "Baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit." We think it's just a ritual. And there will be many water baptized this year in our church. But it's not just a sacrament. It is an invitation. Because the word "baptized" as the Greeks have two words: "bapt" and "baptizo." "Bapt" means to just sprinkle. But "baptizo" means to immerse, to literally submerge, to overwhelm, to overflow. And that is what Jesus was saying: immerse them in the name of the Father. And in Bible days, "name" was not just your label to identify who you were. Name was your nature. That's why when Saul's nature changed, it became Paul. When Jacob's nature changed, it became Israel. Why? Because names meant something. There's life in your declaration. So here's what Jesus was really saying: "Baptize them in the name." He said, "Immerse them in the nature." Immerse people in the nature. Let them overflow with the nature of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And if, guess what? If we were all immersed in the nature of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, our nature will change.

You know, if you take a cucumber and you just dip it in vinegar, it's a sour cucumber. But if you immerse it, if you baptize it, "baptizo," if you immerse it in vinegar, it's no longer a cucumber. Long enough, and it becomes a pickle. And once it's a pickle, it can never become a cucumber. We are praying transformation will happen in every life. That when you are immersed in the kind of overflow, the evidence of overflow is a change in nature. It's a change in everything about who you are that there would not just be a touch of God, a touch of church, a touch of life. There will be a river of life. There will be an overflow of life flowing through you. Can I hear an amen?

Another evidence of overflow is you don't burn out. Think about it. Many of us give and give and give in your life, in your family, in your work, in your church, and then we struggle and we burn out. And we try and protect ourselves from burnout. And so what we do is we shut down and we quit. Imagine a computer that has 4% battery and you think, "Oh no, it's going to break down. It's going to shut down. So I, I'd rather not do anything." You could. That's one option. The other option is you could plug it into the source of overflow. And when the source is plugged in, you could work for the next 5 hours. And by the end, what was 4% will be 100%. Why? Because it was plugged into the source. The evidence of overflow is you get charged and recharged over and over again. Oh, there are moments for holidays. There are moments to get tired. But make sure you don't disconnect from the source of overflow because the source of overflow will give the evidence of you being charged, fully charged, enlarged, equipped, no burnout. After 20 years of what God has done in Kingdom City, we're going stronger, faster, and further than ever before. Why? He's the limitless source. God is the source of overflow. And the evidence of it is we're going to keep going.

Another evidence of overflow is your language starts to change. What you speak starts to look different because the Bible says Jesus said, "Out of the abundance of the heart, the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks." So, one of the evidences you are living in overflow is your words and your language and your declaration starts to change. And let's believe that that's going to be the case because you are honestly no good to your spouse, your kids, your family, your connect group, your church if you're not in overflow because you're always pouring out of what you have and then you lack. And we have this rhythm that I believe in 2026 we can cut, and by the grace of God, we will see the evidence of overflow spiritually, emotionally, relationally, materially, and in every way. And that is why we go back to the source so we can see some evidence.

And finally, number three, to understand overflow, you really need to understand the purpose of overflow. The purpose of overflow. See, for those wrestling with, "Is this a selfish thing or a prosperity gospel thing?" I understand it until you understand this: one of the most selfish prayers to pray is, "God, just fill me," because the only beneficiary is you. But if you truly overflow, everyone else gets the benefit of what God is doing in your life. What a way to live where everyone else benefits from what God is doing in and through you. That's why the song says, "Fill me up," which sounds selfish, "till I'm overflowing." Because the minute we start to overflow, all of a sudden others benefit. The purpose of overflow is not ourselves. Because if we were the purpose of overflow, "full" would be all we need. But God wants you to overflow because He wants everybody in your life and around you to benefit. And here's the thing: if you overflow, but you're isolated, it is actually selfish because nobody benefits. No one is in proximity. So don't live 2026 isolated. Don't live it alone. Be a part of community. Be a part of a connect group. Be a part of church. And stand and hang around people who are overflowing all the time. You will benefit. And as you overflow, others will benefit.

Do you know overflow is not my motivation, it's my expectation. Poverty and abundance aren't motivations. They are mindsets. They are expectations. But real motivation is either self, which is bad; others, which is good; honoring God, which is the greatest. But really, if we would all have selfless motivations: "Father, let my life be about You. I know You're going to bless me, but let it be motivated by making a difference because You are connecting me, You are equipping me, and You are empowering me this year so that I can bring the reality of God to my world." You know, this year, overflow starts with you. Overflow in your family starts within you. But when the purpose and the motivation is others, it is going to go way beyond what you can think, ask, dream, or imagine.

Do you know this is our 20th year as a church? We're not only believing for individual overflow for you. We're believing that every location will overflow. We're believing that every city will overflow, that every nation will overflow. In fact, some of the nations you're in right now are the result of overflow that happened in Kuala Lumpur, that happened in Perth, that's now happening in Singapore, that's now happening in Botswana, that's now going to happen in Auckland. As God begins to pour His Spirit out more and more, some of you exist because of overflow. But we're praying this year you will overflow. Your city will overflow. Sri Lanka will overflow. The nations of the world will overflow. London will overflow. Dallas will overflow. Everywhere God's presence is, there will start to be an overflow. And more than you've ever known is about to happen.

And I have some exciting news for you. And I know it's going to release a shout of praise around the world right now. So, I want you right now to just let your neighbor know that you don't need to worry about them, and they don't need to worry about you. I want you to stand to your feet in every country, in every location, because we've got some exciting things to declare. This is what overflow looks like in 2026. We are declaring it for you and your work and your family and your health and your finances. But as a church, as a mission, 20 years into this journey, God, thank You for all You've done, but it's about to overflow. It's about to go to a whole another level.

Let me give you context for those of you who are new. The first seven years of Kingdom City was really two countries, two cities. It was Wangara and PJ. It was Kuala Lumpur and Perth. And that was a wonderful time of foundation and establishing who we really were. But then the next 12 years was a supernatural season of addition. And in those 12 years, we went from two countries to 20 countries. We went from two locations to 40 locations. And God, by His grace, began to overflow what was happening in KL and Perth. And it started to spill over. And it started to spill into the regions and the nations of the earth. And 18 countries in 12 years is pretty scary. That's about one and a half countries a year. But I believe we're about to trickle into something unprecedented. And "trickle" might be the wrong word. I feel like the real thing is we're about to overflow. We're going to overflow like never before.

So in 2026, now that we're all standing, are you ready? Are you ready? Are we? We're going to declare where God is going to overflow new countries starting in 2026. Not one, not two, not one and a half. There are eight new nations in 2026. Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big shout of praise to God for what He's about to do in Argentina, for what He's about to do in Colombia, for what He's about to do in Ghana, for what He's about to do in Kenya, for everything He's about to do in Lebanon. Give God praise for Nigeria. God is going to do great and mighty things in Pakistan. And ladies and gentlemen, Kingdom City is coming to Zimbabwe. Come on, go ahead and give God praise for all He's about to do. New nations, more than we've ever seen, more than we've ever known. Wow. Take that all in.

And even within existing cities, within India, we're expanding into Visag in India. And within New Zealand, we're expanding into Wellington as well. And within cities, there's going to be new campuses and new locations. So, as we stand together as a mark of unity and expectation, and before your local pastor gets up, I am so stirred with anticipation. I'm a little scared. I'm a little sober, but I know God is the source. If I keep running to the source, the evidence will turn up. And once the evidence turns up and my purpose of overflow is clear, the cities and the nations of the world will benefit. Are you ready for that? Come on. If you're ready for that, I want you to lift your hands right now. We're going to worship the Lord. We're going to declare. In fact, this is more a consecrated prayer. This is a song. This is a prophetic declaration that we're going to release together around the globe. And whether you're in Asia, whether you're in Europe, whether you're in Africa, whether you're in Australia or New Zealand, come on, lift holy hands to God. This day, vision is about to become reality, personally, corporately, supernaturally, in every area. Come on, lift your hearts. Lift your voice. Let's declare.

Fill me up till I'm over this year. God, fill me up. Fill me up till I'm running over. Fill me up. Fill me up. Say I'm overflowing. Overflow. Overflowing. Come on, make it your prayer. Make it your cry. Let it come out of your house. Fill me up. Fill me up. I'm over. Fill me up. Fill me up. I overflow, overflow. Come on, believe for your spiritual war. Come on, tell it. I want Your power, Lord. Pour out Your spirit. Pour out Your spirit. Come on. Every even now, let the Spirit of God be in a full now. Pour out Your spirit. Yes, God. Fill me again. Fill me again. Fill me again. Again and again. I want to know Your power. Fill me up. Build me up. Build me up. I'm overflowing. Till I'm overflowing. Fill me up. Build me up. Till I'm burning. It's happening even now. Build me up. Build me up. Till I'm over. Come on. Some of you set yourself free from the fear of man. And one more time to the ground. Fill me up. Fill me up. Fill me up. Till I'm overflowing. Fill me up. Fill me till I'm running. Fill me up. I said I'm overflowing. We're overflowing. Overflow. Come on, let your praise overflow right now. Let your faith overflow right now. Let your expectation overflow right now. God, we pray. We declare an overflow in every country, an overflow in every family, an overflow in every city, an overflow in every heart. You are the source. Fill us up till we overflow them in the mighty name of Jesus in 2026. Overflow. Amen. Amen.
